The fuel filter in a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 3.7L engine is situated inside the fuel tank as part of the fuel sending unit, which also includes the pump. If the filter gets clogged with debris, it can lead to a drop in oil pressure at the engine. When it's due for a replacement, you'll have to purchase a new sending unit and access the tank from the top panel to install it.
Clogged fuel filters do not result in decreased oil pressure.
