The rear speakers in a Buick Enclave may not be working due to various reasons, such as a blown fuse, short or corroded wiring, or a potential radio receiver software problem. The first step is to verify the Audio settings to ensure that the FADE setting isn't completely towards the front, resulting in no signal reaching the rear channels. All rear speakers should operate on the same left and right rear channels. If all rear channels are inactive, there may be an issue with the amplifier. It's also important to inspect the wiring for any shorts or corrosion that could be causing disconnections. If there are speaker problems, they may need to be replaced, with replacement costs varying from $50 to $100 based on brand and quality.
If the sound isn't coming from the speakers in the Buick Enclave, it could be due to a faulty wire causing the speaker to not receive power.
My Buick La Crosse experiences the same issue, but it only occurs when the weather turns cold, particularly when the temperature drops to freezing or below.
