I arrived at the dealership when they were about to close and my initial meeting was with Ben. He took the time to talk to me and get some information on an MDX I was interested in. While I was aware they were closing very soon I offered to just come back but he insisted on helping me and took the time to walk out and show me the car. It wouldn't start so I just left and told him I'd come back another time and I'd call first. A few days later, I showed up again on a Saturday with no appointment about a half hour before they closed (they were very busy). Ben was with a customer and Mike started to help me. He picked up where Ben left off and got some maintenance information for me that Ben had gotten. I took the MDX for a drive and when I was back in the showroom the negotiation process started and finished reasonably quickly. I had several MDX's I was going to make an offer on at other dealers. Mike listened to me while we passed numbers around a couple times I fully explained my position to him and he took the info to his sales manager who approved a make sense offer that I think was fair so I bought from them on the spot. I want to thank both Ben and Mike for being easy to work with. I also want to thank the sales manager (whom I didn't actually meet) for approving my offer and getting me on the road at a fair price! Had he not done so, I would have left and probably bought one of the other cars I had scheduled to see. Great job for getting the deal closed and earning my repeat business! I appreciate the F&I guy also who made the process fast and efficient! I'm just starting to work with the service group on the many maintenance items I need completed. So far I find them to be exceptional and they gave me a fair price as well. Based on my experience so far, when it is time for my next car I will gladly come back to Acura of Columbus!

I test drove cars at 5 different dealerships on Saturday and went back to Acura Columbus on Monday to make my purchase of a 2014 MDX. They stayed an hour after closing to get everything done and worked as quickly as they could without me feeling rushed at all. Mike Shay was great to work with and able to answer any questions I had. Met with Adam Hannah on a Saturday to test drive both an RDX and an MDX and he quickly arranged for both. He was very knowledgeable about both cars and answered all my questions, which were many, especially about the navigation system, since I use that a lot. He was very personable and easy to work with. Came back 3 days later to test drive the exact model I wanted, an MDX with the technology package, and he was able to make a deal for me that worked out perfect for everyone. He also brought in Matt Haas, the technical specialist, to go over some of the finer points of the navigation system. They spent 3 hours with me just to make sure I was comfortable with every aspect of the car from the Dynamic Driving Modes to the iPhone Bluetooth connection. He followed up twice after the sale to make sure everything was working well. Kyle Duncan, the credit person, was friendly, efficient and did a excellent job going over the lease terms. Everyone else at the dealership was very professional and friendly and I even got a free candy bar at the service desk! I would highly recommend both Adam and Acura Columbus.

Brought my 2012 TL in for airbag recall service in Nov for a notice that I received in March. Apparently it took Acura 8 months to procure the parts needed for the recall that explicitly states "could cause death" if not addressed. This is not and Acura Columbus problem, this is an Acura Corporate problem. After I was promptly & professionally greeted outside I was walked into the Service Dept where I was helped by Jami. She was very professional & pleasant to deal with. The only hiccup at drop-off was that she said that my car also had a software update recall that needed to be completed to correct transmission shutter. This had already been done in Sept so I guess my records had not been updated. Upon pickup I noticed that the tech report recommended transmission fluid flush service. I reminded Jami that this was already completed in Sept as part of the already mentioned transmission shutter recall. Again, my vehicle records must not have been updated or the tech making the recommendation could not see my vehicles history. All in all pretty good service but a little more could be done with record-keeping in order to uphold their service credibility.

I had a great experience from start to finish when purchasing my 2017 RDX. I went in on a Saturday for routine maintenance for my '07 MDX and inquired about moving up to a new vehicle. Brian was my salesperson and he was calm, helpful, kind and positive the entire time. I really appreciate his relaxed approach and highly recommend! We recently had my Acura in to diagnose and fix a problem. Zach was our service representive and provided regular updates and helped clearly explain our repair options. I joined Eddie for a diagnostic drive and he quickly identified the issue which was verified after additional testing. The repair took slightly longer than we had anticipated, but we were provided a loaner (2016 TLX) along with all of the normal, friendly service we get at Acura. After we picked up the car, we had a battery issue and Zach sent a service representative who picked up my car and left a loaner (2016 MDX) for the day. Larry, the service manager, spoke with my wife and made sure that the issue was quickly resolved at no additional cost. The service at Acura Columbus was excellent and we will continue to use them for all of my car's servicing.

The dealership does a good job of taking care of its customers during the regular servicing visits. The turn around time is very accurate to the estimation and the staff is very courteous. The only complain that I have is that they have been slow in communicating for the air bag replacement related updates. I have been proactively asking about it and haven't rcvd enough communication to let me know that my VIN is on the list of vehicles that being looked at for the air bag replacement.

I'd give 5 stars if it was a no-haggle dealership, which I do prefer, but a good car buying experience. Zack was friendly and helpful but by far my favorite part was after I'd bought the car. He called the next day to check in and when I told him I had accidentally left something at the dealership he express shipped it to me. A warning light about my key fob battery ticked me off (not the first time I've had a warning light turn on as I drove away) but he was super responsive and got me a new battery asap, no charge. Usually when buying a car they couldn't care less about you once the dotted line is signed but I truly feel like I could call back with a question any time. That's great customer service.

I have had problems with the rear passenger door latch on my 2014 MDX since day one. It doesn't catch properly at times. The service team at Acura of columbus has never acknowledged my concern . Finally last week I had my car in for service and one of the service managers looked at it and agreed. They couldnt do any work on it then so I made an appointment for the following week. He promised that they would take the inside door panel off at that time. I also ordered 2 new tires. Well I got the tires ---490.00$ and paid for them. Nobody went over the repair with me. I asked for someone to talk with me about it and they sent out a customer service kid who had no idea. Well I got it home and it is still doing the same thing. I doubt that they removed the door panel because the work was done fairly quickly. And another problem was lack of loaner cars despite making my appointment a week in advance . They washed the outside of the car but did not vacuum the floor mats up front or in the back.

I recently took my 2-month old Acura MDX in for service after having a technician perform a "ride-along" with me to diagnose what I feel are some transmission issues. When accelerating from a stop the tachometer quickly jumps RPMs without giving the car much noticeable acceleration. It seems to do this when shifting from 1-2, 2-3 and sometimes 3-4. I am not a "lead foot" but things just didn't seem right. The technician that I rode with (possibly Eddy?) agreed that they should take a further look at it. I dropped my MDX off a few days later but unfortunately they didn't find any issue. Now I am worried that I have an expensive lease payment for the next 2.5+ years on a vehicle that I am not thrilled with (this is the ONLY issue I have with the vehicle - I LOVE everything else!). The rest of my service experience was excellent. When I returned the loaner vehicle the next day I had forgotten my garage door opener in it. I called and spoke with Jami who was able to track down the garage opener from the next customer who had the loaner vehicle and get it back to me the very next day. That was excellent service!

I scheduled an oil change and it was recommended again to change the air filter and cabin filter. After talking with a friend, I found out $110 to change both filters is outrageous. So I'm not happy about that. I have always been happy with the service I receive at Acura but feel like I was taken advantage of now. I am happy with the service provided and your willingness to get me in at 8:30am instead of my scheduled time of 4pm. I appreciated that. The only other thing I noticed was my floor mats were not vacuumed but the exterior of the car looked great after coming out of the wash.

Had 9 AM appt for noise in front end. Took ride with service rep; he confirmed. About 10 AM I asked status; was told it was going for test ride. Inquired about 45-60 minutes later and was told it was being test driven to make sure it was fixed. Another 30 minutes and the guy I talked to at his podium came to me to say they were fixing bushings. I said he was suppose to give me an estimate before fixing. He said it was under warranty. My mileage on my car was one mile more than when I drove the car in, plus that mile was with the service tech, Eddie. The copy of the work they gave me had 7 miles added to the mileage. There were no test drives, but they tried to make it look like there were. When the guy came out to tell me about the bushings, I asked if the car in the work area was mine. He confirmed it was. It was the first time the car was in there, because the TV monitor doesn't lie.

They had to order a part so I came back a few days later and after disassembling my car they noticed the part wasn't there. They sent me home in a brand new car for a few days until my car was fixed and I brought theirs back. I feel they were up front about the mix-up and Jami handled it like a pro. Other than some of my time, I don't feel like I lost anything and as always they treat you like you are the most important person there. Acura Columbus continues to be my favorite car store.

Staff was attentive to my needs, courteous, and didn't leave me hanging excessively long while they were sharpening pencils in the back room. Delivery was smooth with them rechecking my trade in for items left behind and knowledgeable introduction to the technical features of the electronics. Time for the (sale)test drive and price negotiation phase was about 1.5 hours and the delivery (paperwork and familiarization) time was a little over an hour. Appreciated delivery occurred inside building and they even made it a little special with a bow on the hood since it was on my birthday.

Recently our 2006 TL needed four new tires and Acura readily accommodated that need. The tires were top quality and expertly installed, including balancing and alignment. It took longer than was estimated when the car was dropped off, which was somewhat inconvenient because of other time constraints.

I am VERY unhappy that after the wife got home I looked at the bill and then the car and saw that even though I was charged for rotation of the tires they had not been rotated. If I had not checked I would have never know as I did have trust in Acura Collumbus. I called Zack and he said that he just charged me for that but did not know that the mechanic did not rotate them. He offered to put a credit or send me a check. I chose the credit but after thinking about it I would like a check. I really have know way of knowing if any of the other items that I was charged for where done or not. Zack Warrer was great throughout the sales process. The trade negotiation process was okay, and they took the time to setup and walk through all the functions of the vehicle. Also Brian Milliser was very patient going through all of the finance options even though we ended up just paying for the vehicle. Overall I would definitely send a family member or friend their way. With all of the construction dust, they still made sure my car was 100% detailed before I left. Great Experience. They also have a nice room for kids to play in while they wait(my 8 year old was completely occupied throughout the whole process)

Brought my new MDX in to pick up my new license plates. While there I figured I would take advantage of the free car wash. I was unhappily surprised that I was quoted at 30 minutes for the wash. Not sure if it was hand-washed (but I would imagine it had to be with it taking that long). Seems like an automated wash may help speed things up for busy customers trying to get things done on their lunch breaks. That said, Ryan was able to get me my freshly cleaned car well under the quoted time.

I live about 2hr from Columbus but happened to be in Columbus for the weekend. On Saturday my battery died in the parking lot of Meijer's, just a mile or two from the dealership. I called the dealership at about 11:30am and was disappointed that they couldn't come directly to assist, but pleased to learn that the service dept was open until 4pm. Roadside assistance came fairly quickly and got me on my way so that I could go to the dealership to diagnose and fix what I assumed was a dead battery. People at the dealership were very friendly but informed me that they were extremely busy, thanks to the airbag recall. HOWEVER, I happened to note the clock when I was back on the road with a new battery (at no charge because it was under warranty), and it had been less than an hour since the roadside assistance had given me a jump.Kudos to everyone in the Service Dept! And THANKS!

Took my 07 Mdx for ABS light, dropped off my car , I was told that they would charge me $120 for a diagnostic check, never told me that it's $120 for each hour , Bob called me the next day saying that they already spent 1 hour looking for the issues and found a lot of problems it would be a $4000-$5000 job he said and recommended to take it somewhere els and it would be ready for pick up in about an hour , so i asked him to stop right there and to have all the issues that he told me about in details to be put in so I can take to another mechanic , I went to pick it up 4 hours later , Bob was at lunch it took them 15 min just to find my paperwork , he never even started interning the info his tecnition wrote on the back of work order , so I paid and asked the lady to have him email me the info and to have him call me .So he never emailed me or called , I called a few times trying to talk to him and leaving him a couple of messages , he finally called me back after I talked to his manager . Emailed me very little info , it was so unusfull ,so waste of money.

As far as I can tell, the warranty parts installed are doing what they should be doing. This was only my second service, but a few disappointments: After dropping the car off at the 9:15 appt time, I was told I'd be called around noon with an update- that didn't happen and I called at 1:00 to check on the status. When I picked up the car, I found a mechanic's tool in my driver's door pocket, messing up the items I had in there. The paper mat put down to protect my floor mat was crumpled up in the passenger seat. There were black boot marks on the exterior and interior kick plates on the driver's side. While wiping down the car after the wash, someone forgot to finish the job and the exterior passenger's side of the front window was such a mess I had to clean it myself to see out clearly. Pretty minor stuff in the scheme of the repairs done, but still not what I expected after spending the kind of money I did on the RDX. All the folks I interacted with were polite and professional, and I was given a free oil change coupon when I voiced my concerns to the lady who called the next day to check on my service experience.

We had initially gone to the Lindsay Acura dealership in Columbus, but disliked the sales person and the experience so much that we sought to look else where. We refused to give that dealership our money even when we were told that they would match any other offer we received. I have already recommended Mike Shay to a friend, as we found him to be pleasant, non-threatening, knowledgeabe and just out right fair. I pulled into the dealership with no appointment on Saturday of July 4th weekend, with a tire pressure sensor indicating a flat was coming. They squeezed me in, diagnosed the problem as a nail hole, plugged the hole, all within an hour (without an appointment). Online, I found the year, exterior, interior, & package of RDX that I had been looking for for months, but it was 3 hours away. A used one with everything the way I wanted it was hard to find, but I just happened to see this one online before it was taken down because it couldn't be sold yet. Steve contacted me anyway, told me the situation, & kept in touch with me for over a month. He went out of his way to get the issue resolved quicker than expected so I could come take it for a drive. I had never even driven an RDX before, but I knew it had all the gadgets that I wanted & was a reliable brand. Steve showed me the basics & sent me out for a test drive. I knew that was it for me & that I wanted to go back to Indy with this vehicle. That's where Brian came in & helped me get financed so I could drive my new (to me) car home that day. And when I had an issue getting the title transferred to Indiana, Brian & Ted were there to help & sent me exactly what the BMV needed. I only spent about 4 hours at the dealership that day, but every single person I came in contact with was extremely nice & wanted to make sure I was getting the experience I deserved while buying a car. Work done:Machined rotors on front brakes.rotated and balanced 4 wheels.Washed vehicle. Provided a loaner vehicle at no charge.Did not charge for tire rotation because the other work done which necessitated removing all four wheels.Service adviser, Jami Meredith explained that charging for rotation would have been "double dipping"since the wheels had to be removed anyway.

This is my third Acura MDX since 2011 that I have bought from your dealership. I like the low pressure sales people. Ian has sold me my last two cars, and we have been very pleased. It's so easy to drop your car off for service or stay and wait in your very nice waiting room! I'm very pleased with this new purchase, because your dealership has someone who is totally trained on the operation of the car and is extremely patient with me. John has even scheduled another one on one appointment with me since I ran out of time the last time. I couldn't be more pleased.

A car can last a very long time adding to the value proposition you wanted when you purchased your vehicle. Keep it serviced in a timely manner according to your service manual. I have over 167,000 miles on my 2005 and regularly take it on long road trips without concern for mechanical issues. My experience is that your dealership is the best and most well equipped to provide the highest quality service for your vehicle. To wit, my other vehicle has over 247,000 miles.

I found the perfect little cherry of a car that i was looking for at Acura of Columbus...im still amazed. So let me tell you... this dealership... made my "situation" turn from an awful ordeal into a surprisingly pleasant experience! in the past 3 days i have been to 12 dealerships that only had gross dirty smelly used cars to offer for my price point..i thought..oh boy, this sucks... BUT THEN..I found Acura of Columbus...Listen, this dealership is the cream of the crop...the creme de la creme if you will...why? for starters, it's clean, nice & quiet and they offer great cars. PLUS, I have never experienced a car dealership with more integrity than Acura of Columbus... Adam Hannah is the salesman who helped me.. he never pressured me one tiny little bit.. he's a cool guy....friendly...He's....REAL... During my test drive, I asked questions he had no problem sharing with me a little about himself and the company and its owner. I was extremely impressed with what i heard.... i thought...wow the owner sounds like a great leader/mentor...Oh, i know that sounds so cheesy, but its true...and it shows in his employees... Actually, all the guys in the office were pretty impressive.. friendly...and funny too Lol.. They looked happy, like they enjoyed their job..I felt a nice camaraderie vibe I've never felt before at a car dealership. needless to say I was highly impressed!! UPDATE:My original review is below. I have updated my rating of Acura Columbus from 3.5 stars to 5 stars to reflect their response to my original review. I don't say this lightly: I just had the BEST customer service experience I have ever had. Let me explain.Soon after I wrote my original review, I received a message from the company president, John Connelly, apologizing for the problems, stating that that's not how they do business, and indicating that I should be hearing from service manager Larry Jones. I then checked my phone and saw a voicemail from none other than Mr. Jones stating that they wanted to "make things right." I gave Mr. Jones a call and he told me they had read my review but wanted to hear more about the issues from me directly, so I explained my experience and my issues. I told him my main issue was that no one really explained to me why the gas cap issue was not fixed properly the first time and why they hadn't already ordered the new part before my second service appointment. He told me he looked into the issue, and in 2 minutes time, he gave me a satisfactory explanation of the gas cap issue. Again, he reiterated that they wanted to "make things right" - and they did!- They drove a rental MDX down to my place of business an hour away- They picked up my RDX, took it back up to Acura Columbus and fixed the gas cap issue- They noticed another possible issue with the gas cap so they went ahead and replaced the entire assembly free of charge- When I indicated I wanted to go ahead and pay for an oil change while my vehicle was up there, they offered to go ahead and do an oil change and tire rotation free of charge- They drove my RDX back down to my place of business and dropped off an invoice showing the gas cap repair, oil change, and tire rotation had in fact been done free of charge- Instead of simply parking my RDX on the street, they drove it around to our parking lot in back, which is off of a narrow alley-way, and backed my vehicle into a parking spot so I could get out more easily (small things matter)- They placed a note with mints on my dash (small things matter)- They 3-day priority shipped me a box of gourmet cookies with a handwritten note from Mr. Connelly apologizing for my troubles, which I discovered on my doorstep when I got home- Mr. Jones kept in constant communication with me to make sure I knew exactly what was going on and whenI used to work in customer service. In my current profession I deal with numerous clients on a daily basis. I am just so impressed at the lengths Acura Columbus has gone to try to make me a happy customer - and it has worked. They have certainly redeemed themselves in my eyes. Not only did they do everything they should have done to "make things right," but they did everything they could have done. It seems that my initial bad experience was just one of those instances that "fell through the cracks, " but that is clearly not indicative of how the company is run. Special thanks to Mr. Connelly and Mr. Jones. I will be back.-Grant_____________________ORIGINAL REVIEW:There are two Acura dealerships in Columbus. I had purchased a used 2013 RDX from elsewhere. A few months ago I made an appointment with Acura Columbus to get a sun glass holder and gas cap tether fixed under warranty. I was told it would take approximately 1 hour. It ended up taking 2.5 hours because they were behind on some other service jobs. Kind of inconvenient, since I 1 hour live out of town, but it happens. I simply took an Uber down the road to some shopping areas and then came back.A week or two later, the gas cap tether comes off again - literally just falls off when I unscrew the cap to fill up with gas. I call again and schedule another appointment. I also wanted them to check out some noises coming from the vehicle that I didn't know whether they were normal or not. Their "sound guy" only comes during the week, so I had to leave work early and schedule something on Monday. Again, I can kind of understand that. I show up and talk to one of the guys at the front kiosks, who enter in vehicle information and arrange for it to be looked at (Bob Meyer). I explain that they had fixed the gas cap a few weeks ago, and that it fell off again for no reason. I asked that he confirm it would be no additional cost to get it fixed the second time, since it was their fault. For some reason, he could not confirm that, which made me nervous. Something about "as long as [I] didn't break it."Anyway, the "sound guy" (Eddie Chandler) comes out and we both hop in the vehicle to drive around and try to identify the noise issues. Mr. Chandler is a cool, nice guy. Ultimately, he doesn't hear anything out of the ordinary, so that was good news. We come back to the dealership and I hang out in the waiting area for probably 30 to 45 minutes. It's an "ok" waiting area with some drinks and snacks, a loud TV, and chairs that are a little worse for the wear. Not great but it doesn't matter if I don't have to wait there for a long time.Eventually, Mr. Meyer comes out and tells me that they have to order a gas cap part and that I will have to come back up in another day or two to get that installed. I ask him why that would be when they knew weeks in advance what the issue was. I explained that it was very inconvenient because I live out of town and can't take off work repeatedly to get a gas cap tether replaced. He doesn't really say much except to say that the correct part was not used when they fixed the gas cap tether the first time. He did not explain why that was, though.I left and came home. When I filled up my vehicle with gas the next time, I noticed that the gas cap is currently tethered, but given Mr. Meyer's comments to me, I don't know if it's tethered correctly, or if a new part needs put on, or what. I never received any follow-up phone call from them letting me know that they had received the part. At the end of the day, I left feeling very unsatisfied and confused. The staff that I interacted with were friendly, but if you're wanting my honest opinion, the experience was not great. The fact that the dealership is located on the corner of a busy intersection, and its parking lot is extremely cramped and tricky to navigate (the service area is hidden in the rear of the building) doesn't help. I may be looking at other Acura dealerships in the future.

This is the 3rd time I have had my car serviced here since buying my 2015 Acura ILX. Each time, the staff have been kind and have not been pushy, which I appreciate. I had a couple of concerns heading into the appointment after recently receiving a letter related to an airbag recall on my vehicle. Since my appointment was for a tire rotation and oil change, I wasn't sure what to expect in relation to how the dealership would handle the recall, particularly since there is currently a national backorder on the impacted parts. I voiced my concerns and was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating the dealership was at meeting my needs. The dealership went out of their way to develop a plan that both fit my needs and my work schedule. When it comes to customer service, these guys get it!

Received a recall notice for my '14 RDX (defective airbag), letter stated that Acura would provide a free rental while RDX was serviced. I called and agreed to this. Here are the 'highlights' of the experience:1. Acura told us to not drive the RDX, leave it in the garage and come to the dealer and get the rental car.2. Showed up at the dealer and the rental car was not there as the lady on the phone told me it would be, but we'd have to get to the Hertz agency for the car - a few miles away.3. We followed their directions and went to the Herz agency, where after waiting in line for 40 minutes were told that they don't rent cars for Acura.4. Not knowing what to do, after another 25 minutes finally got the Hertz agent on the phone with Acura and they determined that we had to drive to another Hertz agency to pick up the car.5. We did so, and got the rental, no further issues.6. 5 weeks pass and the airbag part has arrived and I was called to schedule the appointment. I was told to have the RDX at Acura on a Tuesday. I asked them how do I get the car there? They said 'drive it' then I had to explain why we have the rental in the first place and the RDX is not to be driven. I also informed them that the RDX would not start (I presumed a dead battery). After several call backs with different Acura managers, they agreed to come get the car on Tuesday morning. (Wait, it gets better). I took the morning off, and waited for them. They never showed up.7. I called Acura the next day to inquire what happened, and there was no explanation other than to set up another visit the following week at 11am on Wednesday.8. Acura does show up to my house at 11:07 the next Wednesday and asks me to pull the car into my driveway. I asked him how I was to do that since the car wouldn't start? The email appointment confirmation from Acura clearly stated "RDX will not start." He left in frustration, but did call me back later that day and asked if he could come back out and get the car. I agreed. They picked up the car, I got a call a few hours later stating the car was ready and that I needed to call Hertz so they can come pick up my rental from my home. I then asked 'how am I to get the RDX without the rental' which they replied Hertz would take me to the Acura dealership.9. I called Hertz and asked them to come get the rental, and was told 'we don't do that.' Of course not. I was told by Hertz to just drive the rental to Acura and leave it and pick up my RDX - this of course made sense to me.10. Although the RDX is a '14, it has very few miles (14k) and I keep it like new condition. When I picked up the car, the driver's seat has what looks like white paste in many of the air xxxxx on the top of the leather seat. I'm guessing the service technician had some sort of paste on this pants that got into the seat. Ugh.Net - The overall service at Columbus Acura is very good. I've been there several times and they actually go over the top a little too much to exhibit great customer service. I find their prices to be extreme, but could say that for all dealerships. I just don't think management had any idea how to handle the complexities of a recall (and it's not really that complex). The whole thing was a mess, we got through it, but it has changed my perception of taking my car back to Columbus Acura for future service. I'm sure senior management does not know about CRM, but if they did, they'd put it into play so that when a customer speaks to one manager, then the next manger is fully aware of the dialog, and then when the customer calls and gets a 3rd manager, he/she is fully informed of the trail.

Having intermittent issue with steering wheel volume and channel buttons not working when using radio, cd or iPod. If you hit the channel button it increases volume. If you try to use the down volume button it increases it too. Car needs to be turned off and restarted to get it working right again. Due to it being intermittent they could not duplicate problem and because they couldn't duplicate are unable to figure out how to diagnose or correct issue. Jami said to try and video it next time it happens; which will be tough since I'll probably be driving. Not to mention the only thing that would show is the volume level increasing in the car and the number of volume level increasing on the display....which is what I told them happens. Also couldn't figure out why car has problem playing music from my iPhone (display reads Loading or Unsupported). Again they couldn't duplicate problem and suggested getting a new cord. No problems with cord when using my iPod. They had some sort of gas leak and were evacuated which meant I couldn't return loaner and get my car before I needed to get my son from school. They were totally fine with my coming back in Saturday morning but Jami said they'd be working later than the regular 6 pm closing time (due to being behind because of evacuation) if I wanted to get back that evening. I showed up at 6:01 and computers were off and cashier was ready to head out the door. She was nice enough to check me out even though it was news to her they were staying late.

I received a recall notice on my 2010 Acura RDX Turbo regarding the airbag, so naturally I contacted my local Acura dealer, Acura Columbus, as soon as I could. They arranged for me to receive a rental vehicle, free of charge, until the time came that they received in the replacement parts to remedy the airbag issue. Then, my scheduled repair appointment was set for 4/29/16. The repair time was very quick, less than an hour-and-a-half, and everyone I encountered was very professional, courteous and friendly. However, I noticed upon driving home that there was an issue with my repair - every time I turned my wheel, I'd hear a rattling sound coming from within the steering column, as if a loose screw had been dropped inside and not recovered. Now I have to return to the dealer service center to have this issue resolved. It's inconvenient, but the fine service I've received otherwise speaks loudly to th quality of this dealer. I just wish my airbag repair had been completed completely correctly... But we're all human.

Took too long in the checkout line. Everyone too busy eating lunch at their desks. I really don't want to smell the onions and tacos or watch people eating their giant sandwiches as I stand in line. Car was filthy. Wondering why it was washed on Friday when it wasn't ready for pick up until Monday. You need to figure out the flow in the parking lot as it is ridiculous pulling in and out.

We had a hard time get a fair price for the car. We were low balled on our trade- in. Then we received a certified vehicle that had body damage (dent). We returned the vehicle for repair. The vehicle was kept over night., however the repairs weren't completed. I've been asked to bring the car back in a week and half to be repaired. This experience started bad and continues on the same path.

We had issues getting our acura MDX to start. First visit was informed it was due to our blue tooth pulling too much juice while the vehicle was off....system was disconnected and issue seemed to be resolved. A week later the acura did not start again...brought it back in to find out I needed a new battery. Was pleased with service but wish this was caught on my first visit and would have saved me $100 plus.

The service staff at Acura Columbus is always welcoming and courteous. From the valet out front to the service desk to the Todd Skidmore, the customer service guy and the check out desk...you always feel like they are wanting to help. I love that they get you in on time and out as quickly as possible. The packet reflecting the breakdown of the service performed with graphics and descriptions are helpful for maintenance due now and in the near future. So you can plan ahead. I have no anxieties when scheduling service. Acura Columbus is where I purchased my MDX and where I choose to have it serviced. Hands down!

I came in with lots of research under my belt and simply wanted to test drive two vehicles (the RDX and MDX) and have some questions answered. I got right into the cars and took my test drives, asked my questions and left the dealership to think things over. I made clear that my travel schedule would mean I would not be back in town for a week and would call if I needed anything. I was given my space and had no pushy salesman calling me. I made the next visit a week later, had my decision and sat down to figure exactly the car and accessories I wanted. they had to make a dealer trade to get what I wanted - and I had my car a few days later. No pressure and totally painless. A first class experience all the way around. I worked with Salesman Mike Shay and he was excellent.

I didn't think I'd end up buying a car the day I enquired about one, especially with a 4 year old in tow! The process was amazing: it started by me finding the vehicle I liked on their website, setting an appointment by clicking on their "chat" button, then having a sales rep get in touch with me right away. I went in and the rep, Benjamin, sure knew his stuff. He was knowledgable, not only on the MDX, but on the other SUVs I was considering. Negotiating was simple and painless. Zach helped me through my vehicle pick up and tutorial. The whole staff was amazing. The service perks are equal to or better than the BMW and Lexus dealerships I've been to with my past vehicles. This is my second vehicle from Acura Columbus and like the title states they really do treat you like family! My Sales Consultant Zack Warren contacted me and advised me that Acura was offering some great incentives and that he may be able to get me out of my current lease and into a newer Acura for around what I was currently paying. I obviously was open to the offer but in no way thought it would be possible. But it was! Tom Cole the Sales Manager presented me with an exceptional deal and I couldn't be happier. Kudos as well to Brian Milliser the Finance Manager who knew I was limited on time but he was able to thoroughly explain all my paperwork, warranty options and have me in and out of the dealership within an hour. We were greeted by Ray with a warm friendly smile at 7:40 Pm Tuesday evening. Knowing that the dealership closed at 8:00 pm I did not feel rushed. Ray took the time to show us the vehicles' amenities inside and out. I chose to come back and test drive the next day because of his service and the amenities of the MDX. I also liked the fact that Ray followed up the next day with an email thanking us for our visit. After test driving I knew that the MDX was in the top three of the cars I had test driven previously. I continue to marvel at the upbeat culture at Acura Columbus (new customer, third service appt). Whereas lousy customer service and disengaged employees seem to be the new norm, this dealership is so refreshingly different it's almost like the Twilight Zone. From the valet guys who greet you, all the way to the ladies at checkout, EVERYONE appears to love their work and they seem genuinely interested in making your visit as pleasant as possible. I've stayed in luxury hotels whose staff don't care this much about their guests. I'm 51 and I've NEVER written a customer review. Who knew a routine visit to a service department at a car dealership would compel me to do so. Hats of to the owner, managers and all the teammates who practice what the preach.

Purchased a new RSX for a college student, who goes without driving several weeks at a time. On multiple occasions, the battery has gone dead, which almost never happened with previously-owned Accura MDX used in the same manner. Technician was almost no help...suggesting a plug-in "trickle charger," which isn't very practical for a large campus lot with no power outlets. Guess I need either a different car, different technician, or different driving pattern.

The dealership was slammed on Saturday, they were short staffed but Ian and Adam made sure we were taken care of, even after we changed our minds about color last minute. Brain was efficient and explained everything quickly but so that we were clear and understood the finance process. As always, my service, oil change and tire rotation went awesome! I was welcome, quickly checked in, offered a complimentary snack and enjoyed the showroom & waiting area.45 minutes later I checked out and was told my car had been cleaned - always a plus as there is nothing better than a clean car.I walked outside and was immediately bummed that the wash wasn't the same as last time. Dirt streaks all over the exterior, not tire shine or rim cleaning. I get it, it is a free car wash so beggars can't be choosers, but the way my car was presented to me was disappointing and not one I would imagine Acura would like to leave their lot and serve as a presentation. Unfortunately I didn't say anything as I had to run to a meeting, but I did re-wash my car the following morning to give it that nice clean and presentable look that I was anticipating from Acura.- Tim

I had an oil change as part of a A123 Maintenance Service in Sep 2015. I brought my own oil (5Qt +1Qt Mobil1 0W20) and ask that the remaining oil be left in the 1 Qt container so I might use it to add between changes if necessary. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was told there was no remaining oil, it took all of it. 2014 MDX manual states 5.7 Qts oil required when changed with filter. Next day when I checked the oil it was 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch above the full mark on the dip stick.On 3 Mar 2016 I had my 2014 MDX oil changed as part of a A1 Maintenance Service. I explained the above experience to the service advisor and indicated that I did NOT want my vehicle overfilled this time. I told him that the manual states it only requires 5.7 Qts with oil and filter change. He verified this by checking a chart that the techs have back in the shop. I was given back 100ml of oil in the 1Qt container when picking up my vehicle. If you do the math, you will find this still is incorrect. Although my vehicle was not overfilled as much this time as last, why does it have to be overfilled at all. This is not rocket science!

I was in Canada a few weeks ago and my drivers' side door handle would not pull open the door event though it was unlocked :-( On my drive back to Ohio I called Acura Columbus and they told me to bring it in the very next day so they could take a look. When I arrived in the morning they already had a rental car waiting for me as they had already checked and a part that they might need would not arrive until the next day. When the part did not arrive the next day, Todd asked me to keep the rental and when I returned he said that there was no charge for anything given the wait! Super Super Nice folks to work with!

Since I have hazard warranty I had the tire looked at and a bad bead caused need for remounting (not covered by warranty). But it was a little ridiculous that even though I had an appointment, a tire remounting was a three hour experience.

Bought extended warranty for my 2014 RDX. I've had 4 routine services (oil change etc.) completed at Acura of Columbus. Visit in review I was told that my extended warranty had expired. Working with Fidelity and Acura Columbus they discovered an error on my policy. All records have been corrected, and I anticipate smooth services in my future.

I bought an Acura MDX for my wife for Christmas. I worked with Adam Hannah, who was extremely nice and helpful. I had some difficulties with one manager in particular to the point where I actually hung up on him and killed the deal, but Adam was able to get it worked out for me. I can honestly say that I would not have purchased this car if it wasn't for Adam and all of his hard work...the price was right and despite my bad experience with that one manager, my experience with Adam was so good that I'd buy from him again. If you are thinking of purchasing from this dealer, ask for Adam. He's an honest guy. I worked with Derek on registering the car and he was great, too.

The drive in the navigation system was replaced as it had been locking up and was defective. The dealership brought a loaner car to our house that we used for almost 2 weeks while the part was ordered and replaced in our RDX. Dealership kept us up to date on repairs during th dealership kept us up to date repairs.

This is the third Acura I have purchased from Steve Ault at Acura of Columbus. While I have the choice to go to another dealer, I mainly return to Acura of Columbus because of Steve Ault. I like dealing with Steve because there is no pressure or games played. I research quite a bit before buying anything and Steve is 100% fair and professional. I also like the fact that Steve knows the vehicles inside and out. Unlike other dealships that salespeople have to go get an answer to a question, Steve knows the answer right away and fully explains the information. Acura of Dublin treats you with respect and I have come to expect that at other dealers and I rarely find it.

I found the car I wanted on the Auto trader site. I drove by on a Sunday night, took a quick look and wanted to test drive the car, and have the opportunity to purchase if I liked it. I called the dealership and left a message, I wanted to place a deposit to hold the car until I got off work. On a Sunday night at 10PM I received a call from the dealership, said they got my message and wanted to work something out for me. We worked out a deal and we purchased the car on monday. Came into dealership with a burnt out low beam headlight. Service attendant, Zach explained the diagnostics to be performed and potential issues i might face if it were more than a burnt out headlight. Zach was not scheduled to be in early the next morning and turned me over to Todd. Todd listened and ensured me that he would be available when i brought the car back in to get service the next morning. Acura Columbus handled this issue with my car very well. I was driven to my office at Polaris by a 22 year veteran of the company. What a pleasant experience. The work effort turned out to be only a a burnt out headlight. Outstanding treatment by everyone at Acura Columbus. I would recommend Acura Columbus to everyone. Thank you

From the young man who greeted me, to Ed who showed me to service (first visit) and Todd Skidmore were each tuned in and seemed eager to do their work WELL. I was met at the valet with a helpful individual who explained what I would need to provide in order to get the loaner car. He walked me to the counter and Amanda in the service center was great. She gave me the details for the estimate and stated that if it was possible to repair the rotors instead of replacing them that's what would happen. You might expect that would mean they hoped to find something wrong that I'd have to pay for but instead the coupon covered the complete cost of the service; an $85.00 savings. Our previous vehicle finally gave up on us at a very inopportune time and we found a very good deal on a used replacement at Acura Columbus. They managed to not only receive our old vehicle(towed in around noon) and verify the transmission had failed/needed replacement, but also had worked our financing(with our trade-in) and had everything ready to go by that afternoon. The valuation of our trade-in coupled with the low price of the new(used) car was extremely fair and we could not be happier.

We looked at Acura ILX Hybrids in our home town of Charlotte, NC and were told by the Hendricks dealership in our area that it was impossible to get an ILX Hybrid in blue and that they had no interest in trying. Needless to say Hendricks did not get our business. It took my wife all of five minutes to locate not one, but two blue ILX Hybrids at Acura Columbus. We contacted Jason Byerly, a salesman at Acura Columbus, who helped us with the details of the purchase at a very reasonable price. Everything was completed over the web or by phone. We have family in Ohio so we simply swung by Acura Columbus on our way up North and picked up our new car which was waiting for us all shiny and new at the Acura Columbus. It was in January, we had our dog Jessie with us, and Acura Columbus even let us bring our dog into the dealership out of the cold. It was a real treat for Jessie who is a real people person(dog). Everyone at Acura Columbus was absolutely wonderful, a far cry from the sullen resistance our needs received at Hendricks Acura in Charlotte. We have our Acura ILX Hybrid serviced at the Crown Acura dealership in Greensboro, NC since we will never set foot in a Hendricks dealership again. We would be 100% comfortable getting our car serviced at Acura Columbus if we lived closer. They are everything a new car dealership should be. When we are in line to get a new Acura we will be sure to make a special trip to Acura Columbus once again.

The most I can say is that Jason listened very well to what I wanted. I got the car I wanted, and he was very understanding that my time was limited and I couldn't go through the "normal" process. The deal was done fairly quickly, at a reasonable price for the trade-in and new vehicle, and Jason got all the resources aligned to get the vehicle ready and to get me on my way. All in all it was a very good process. Service and support is always very good at this dealership, after-the-fact.

First trip- 4 factory tires installed on factory rims- shredded rims on tire mount machine. Was told by service manager this cannot be avoided but could not explain why they were not damaged when put on at factory. After much arguing he finally paid to have rims repaired but not replaced2nd trip - routine service trip- I ordered an end cap for an exterior door handle. Was told by parts personnel to make sure mechanic does not just snap cover onto bracket as it will not seal properly and will rattle. I relayed this information to service writer when checking-in to get work done. As soon as I checked the work after paying it was clear the technician did not do it properly. I went back inside and spoke to the service manager. He looked at it and said that it was normal for them to be that way. Again, when asked he could not explain why the end caps on the other 3 doors were tight and he asked for the opportunity to do it right. They took it back in and corrected the problem in less than a half hour.3rd Trip- In for oill change. I had ordered another end cap ( for a different door) from parts department the day before. Part was at dealership the next day as promised (Awesome!). Again I asked service writer to ensure the end cap was put on properly and not just.snap it on. She said she would have a master technician look at it. I clarified the work did not require a master technician and explained what happened last time. I decided to wait while the work was done as it was only an oil change and end cap. An hour later the service writer came out with the parts I had ordered in her hand and told me it was going to cost $180.00 in labor to put it on. When asked why so much she said it was because they have to remove the door panel to put it on. Knowing the work could be done in less than 30 minutes, I declined. A quick search on YouTube shows it takes 1 minute and 27 seconds to remove door panel. I started the work at 10:16 AM and was done in less than 20 minutes.Bottom line- I took my TL to Acura Columbus because I wanted the satisfaction of knowing that all work would be done by a dealership whom I expect would hold a higher standard of quality synonymous with Acura quality. But if I have to complain about the obvious things not being done right, one cannot help but question the work that can't be seen.

Let us test drive as much as I want to get to know difference of the cars better and explained everything so honestly. With his help, I was able to decide to get 2016 RDX and I am very pleased. All the staffs are friendly and felt very welcomed.

Was shopping for a used MDX. The salesperson contacted me by phone and said the car was sold. He followed up later and asked if I was still looking. I was impressed with the personal contact, but not the dealer stock photos of the used cars I asked about. I believe cars should not be listed for sale without several good photos inside and out. My only suggestion for them and any fine dealer. I did buy a Acura TL from a dealer who had photos. When you shop on-line, good pictures will get you to the lot for a test drive. Cars.com is a great place to start looking for a car.

After several years of receiving very high quality service and a very enjoyable buying experience at this dealer in 2006, I began experiencing issues with both of my cars in recent years. I took both cars in for 100,000 + mile servicing and had similar experiences with both. I had to take them back to the dealer due to faulty repairs in the respective 100,000+ servicing. The dealer also found additional costly issues the very next time I took them in for routine oil changes. I never did get a satisfactory explanation of why the additional issues went undetected in what I expected to be thorough analyses in the dealer's prior service. I suspect that service department revenue was down. Now I've lost the trust that I enjoyed for years, which was the reason I bought a second car from the dealer. I had similar experiences with another dealer where I bought my daughter's car. I sold her car and vowed to never buy a car from that dealer of have a car serviced there again. Now this dealer is on my watch list. Also, when buying a used car from this dealer, I asked to see a CarFax report on the vehicle. The sales manager gave me a document that was not a CarFax report. I didn't know any better at the time, as I had never seen one before, but I've since learned what a genuine CarFax report looks like. I suspect all of my issues are related to cost-cutting initiatives and turnover, but am not certain. It was a few short years ago that I would have rated this dealer 5 stars across the board, but no more.

Recently bought a 1998 Honda Accord that was taken in on trade. They had advertised it on Cars.Com, and due to timing didn't have pictures. I posted a note before they opened, and promsptly received a phone call from a sales person after they opened. He took the time to take photo's and sent them to my cell phone. They were open and honest in describing the vehicle condition, carfax, etc., so when i went to the dealer it was with my eyes open. There was no pressure, and they were quite helpful. Buying process was quick, to include temp titling (20 minutes). Price was excellent and way below book, and even offered to do repair at their expense as part of selling process. Repair part was only one left in the country, and it took a few days to be shipped in, and they promptly put it on, and i was notififed when it was ready. Excellent process, service, and experience!

We were looking to test drive a 2014 MDX and were approached in the parking lot by a very pleasant employee. We had done a lot of research online and had already looked into which exact vehicle we were interested in. Unfortunately we were promptly brought to the show room to look at the model in there, when the exact model we wanted was in the lot. The employees must have been having a meeting, but we were left in the show room after asking to test drive the car we wanted. To kill time we looked at other cars but after about 15 minutes we decided not to purchase our vehicle here and left. The sales associate was nice when we briefly spoked to him.

I did most of the dealing on the car over email with the internet sales department, which worked out well since i live over an hour and a half from the dealer. They had a few "program" cars which were basically loaners that the dealer certified with Acura. I took the car for a test drive and I said "this car is certified right?" and he acted as if it wasn't. I then looked at the windshield and it had a giant "certified" sticker on it. Eventually they had to honor it, even though they didn't negotiate the price with this in mind. Then after the deal was done, i noticed a giant gouge in the rear bumper, which they also fixed prior to delivery, but after haggling, which i didn't feel i should have had to do. The rest of the delivery was fine. The only other issue was the painter who worked on the car was sloppy. The paint job on the bumper looked nice, but there was paint overspray on every window of the car, which i had to scrape off the windows myself. Considering the price of this car, i feel it should not have been delivered like this. Overall, a good value, but just keep on top of your stuff when you go.
