Having breakfast at the Waffle House next door, we spotted a Subaru in the lot and walked over to take a look. Terrique Brown joined us and answered our questions about that car and also showed us a couple other options on the property. After a test drive and financing discussion we sat down to purchase our "meant-to-be" car. Terrique was great - friendly, knowledgeable, and competent - a pleasure to work with. Management worked with us to add newer tires and a detail cleaning at no cost before purchase. The financing process was quick and painless. Great experience.

I purchased my 2011 Ford Econoline van 09/12/2016 to start my Cargo transportation service. My sales person helped me and took his time to explain the difference between a cargo van and a passenger van. I had to go to the Credit Union the next day to get funding and Robert Dunlap came all the way to Rock Hill to pick me up so I wouldn't have to have someone follow me when I came back to the dealership to pick up my Van. Not just a salesman but if made me feel comfortable. I'll recommend other's to come see him at Adams Auto Group South Blvd.

I shared with them I was over 150 miles away and if we had an understanding I would buy from them. We did trio one. the had an issue with the while test driving. they agreed to fix issue under recall. after several days of me calling them we agreed to a second trip. check out the car it had an additional issue. we agreed to a third trip that they never have followed thru on. They are horrible about returning calls and carrying out what they say. on trip two I was sitting in their parking lot writing a review when the GM came out and ask me to let he fix the issue and he would call me. I have waited a week before writing the review. No effort.. they talk as great service. simply don't back it up with action.

Went there looking for a car to buy but the only person in charge of showing the cars was busy with another client and I had to wait a while to be taken car of. Finally another person helped me out and show me around the car I wanted. Then he went away, I had nobody to talk to about the car (final price, fees, etc.. I was with my wife and my 3 month old. This same person got back and we discuss price. As I was taking the time to go through the number with my wife the guy disappeared again for a longer time. I just decided to grab my baby and leave.

long story short. . . When I showed interest online I received a call very quickly and told Charlie I was interested in 2 specific cars that there was nothing else I wanted and I had no money down. he guaranteed me that I would leave with one of those cars. So I get there and he tells me I cant get either of those cars I have to get something else. He then tells me that sold one the night before and the other they wouldnt be able to do with no money down which of course I was unhappy about because I explained over the phone that I was coming from out of state almost 2 hours away and would only come if I could get one of the cars I wanted He could have told me this the NIGHT before so I wouldnt have wasted time coming up there. So he goes back to talk to his manager and says I could get the other one that I was looking at online but its at the other dealership. We drive to the other dealership to pick it up and there is this HORRIABLE smell in it Charlie agrees the car does smell funny and points out to me that it drives funny as well. So I decide that Ill get the first one that they offered me even though its not the one I really want. And guess what. They tell me I cant get it without 1500 down. I ask for an explanation. And of course they isnt one. When I walked in that morning they were pushing me to get that car even though I said I didnt want it and now that I want it I cant have it unless I have money down that I told them I didnt have? I ask to speak to manager since Charlie has no idea whats going on I really wanted to know what I couldnt get the car. So I wait and wait as employees go in and out of the managers office laughing and eating I watch 3 people go in and tell him that some one wanted to speak to him and still nothing. So I asked to speak to him a fourth time and I finally get the assistant manager who finally explains to me what Im unable to get the 1st car he assures me that they stand by their cars and there is nothing I should be worried about because of how they check their vehicles to ensure they are up to par. And I get the keys we go outside and I realize that I dont have the key to the locking lug nuts. Charlie goes inside and comes back to tell me when I get home to go to a dealership and call Adams so they can pay to replace the lug nuts it will only be about 20$. I get home and call around. A dealership in my area charges 60-70$ to replace it. I call Charlie and he tells me he will check with his manger and give me a call back. 2 days go by, nothing I call him back and he tell me to call the other store and talk to Josh I call and leave messages and no one calls me back . . . long story short Charlie tells me they arent paying 60$ to replace my lug nuts that I can drive back up there to get them replaced or they can send the some lug nuts and I will have to pay for labor for the old locking ones to be broken and replaced. Instead of Charlie getting with his manger to correct the issue he tell me to call Josh I ask him if this is the arrangement you came up why do I have to call him he tell me call josh I ask him again why am I playing phone tag between u and your manager if this was something you were suppose to have set up he tells me again call josh. So I call josh of course hes unavailable I leave a message again and he calls me back completed disrespectful OMG I can believe all this over a freaking lung nut, lady Im not paying 60$ to replace a lug nut, did u call Charlie? And what did he say? OMG this lady. Its a freaking lug nut I cant believe youre acting like this over a lug nut I stayed as claim as I could but when he started yelling at me over something his sales person did I couldnt take it any more so now were on the phone yelling at each other over a lug nut that THEY said they would replace. Dont go to the Tryon location if u do STAY away from Charlie. Charlie and Josh together that are two of the most unprofessional people I have every had

I contacted them requesting picture of a specific car all I got was a bunch of requests wanting my phone number. I responded I did not want a bunch of never ending calls please just e-mail the pictures. I receive daily spam messages about why I won't contact them of which I have responded to each one with the same message. They are almost certainly preprogrammed spam. I hate it because I think they had the car I wanted but won't be going anywhere near them.

Would love to write a review but applied online march 21 i received the email saying someonw will contact me the next day, a week later i receive a call saying he needs more info on my voicemail. I call back and the man asks can he call me back. Two weeks later he calls me back and eventually asks me to fill out another app apologetically. He also asks me to call him when i did it. I did it the next day and days later back in the same predictament. Disappointing

I went back and forth for about a a week or two speaking to Charlie at Adams about getting a car. I knew my finances at the time and felt from the cars that they were showing me at first that I would not get something I was comfortable with. The salesperson Charlie and the finance manager Josh kept working with me even when I was ready to give up and go somewhere else or being extra picky. Charlie sent me a picture of one car that I did agree on and was comfortable with all around. Today 09/27/14 I went to Adams, had my insurance in place, and gave my down payment(which was minimal compared to what other car lots I had been to had wanted) and drove off of the lot with a nice car with great mileage. The process today was painless. If anything changes, I will update but my experience was good.

I am writing to let you know even though I was displeased with the Bronco II my dad bought, the salesperson Chris did his job well. He was very nice to my dad and it wasn't his fault the Bronco II was not mechanically sound. They did take the car back and gave my dad his money back except $600 for a restocking fee. I think they still need to do a better job checking these cars over even if a customer is buying "As Is". That is not the salesperson job to handle that.

My dad insisted on buying a used Bronco II and I didn't like the place at all. Though I was able to talk them down $200 more I really wanted to walk away. What may me even less hesitant was they were going to get me a Carfax for the car and after the money changed hands they Carfax system was down and they would email it to my dad. How convient is that. I followed my dad home and he barely made it. The car is a piece of junk especially mechanical. Something is wrong with the fuel line and it's running hot. It's stalls on a hill and make a bad noise. They only let him test drive it in the parking lot. I feel the took advantage of an elderly man and they knocked off the $200 because I know something about cars. I will never recommend anyone to by from them and now my dad has a car he can't drive and will lose money on it for the repairs. My dad wanted a vehicle to do minor work on in his own time and now he has to pay someone to fix because it's beyond what he can do. I stopped in today to inquire about a vehicle (red '02 suburban), that I saw online. I'd been eyeing the vehicle since it first appeared on cars.com. I showed up to the lot ready to make a purchase. I walked around the vehicle looking in and around it for about 15 minutes. No one came out to assist me. Shortly after that, another gentleman showed up and began looking at a black Lincoln Aviator. Almost immediately, a salesman came out to assist him. Makes me wonder why no one came out to assist me. After looking at the Aviator, the salesman walked the customer right past me, as if I wasn't even there, to look at other vehicles. I walked to my vehicle, leaned on it for about five minutes to see if someone would come assist me, no one did........what customer service.

Buying a car is a painful process, especially for individuals not doing it on a daily basis. It is confusing from start to finish. Chris Bohr made this process much easier than it needed to be. Other dealers constantly pester a buyer, calling on a daily basis- sometimes multiple times. Chris was patient and willing to work with a young car-buyer. I would absolutely recommend this dealership with its quality used (and new?) cars to any friend who may happen to be looking. More specifically, I would recommend Chris to help them with the process. Once the initial confusion and jumping-through-hoops was completed, it was a pleasure. Next time, I'm coming for the Aston Martin.

Our first visit to Adams was very nice. We were greeted and we told them what we were looking for and we told them about our vehicle fire we had just experienced. We drove two different Scions one a 2006 and the other a 2010. My son is 6' 5" and on the 2006 the cruse control was hitting his left knee. We fell in love with the 2010 and set out to purchase it. We still owed on the vehicle that caught fire so the created some additional concerns but we were finally approved for the 2010 and I just signed the papers and am taking it over to surprise my son who is unaware of my being approved. I hope to soon trade in my vehicle for one of the others they have on their lot since the experience was fantastic and everyone was very friendly and helpful with both this purchase and in helping with the vehicle fire situation. I will recommend Adams Automotive Group to my friends.

The service was excellent and we were treated well but unfortunately when we went in to sign for the car the price changed 795$ from the price on the internet. We were given a reason that the bank charged them a fee which sounds crooked. Also my husband asked the salesperson if the car was checked over well and was told yes. The air filter paper was dry rotted and filthy. We also found the tires were 5 years old when we had a local tire dealer check them. This is my second review since we found out most of this later. I would recommend this dealer ONLY if you do your homework and verify before you go in what the price of the car is because it is unethical to raise it from the advertised internet price.

I Dawn Bell recently purchased a vehicle from Adams Group Car Lot 6027 N Tryon Charlotte NC The car sales man that assisted me in choosing my car was Christian Rodriguez. I must say I am very pleased with the service I received from Christian. He was very thorough with explaining to me about the different cars that I had in question. He pulled up pictures to show me on the computer, explained everything about the particular car he had pulled up at the time in detail. He was also very patient. I am one that asks a lot of questions and not one time did I get the feeling from him that I was asking too many questions. I originally wanted a sun roof in the car that I picked out but unfortunately I was unable to have a sun roof due to the car I picked in the year that I wanted didnt come with a sun roof. I loved the car so much I still purchased the car. Well, went home with the car and slept on it to realize I still wanted the sun roof and wasnt going to be happy if I didnt have one. Well I took the car back and I have to say I spoke with Rene and explained to him how I was feeling. He too listened until I was through talking and he made me feel like he was very concerned with the way I was feeling. Rene worked with me to where I can keep my car and have a sun roof too. A lot of the time when the deal is done the sales people act differently towards you because now they have made their sale and they treat you like they have no more time for you because they got what they needed from you. I cant say that about not one person at Adams Group Car Lot. They treated me as if I was a brand new customer that just walked through the door and had never purchased a car from them. The customer service that I received from Christian and on down the line was exquisite. The customer service you receive from everyone that I had to deal with was over the top. Would I recommend anyone to go there? Thats not the question. The question is how many people have I already told and much more to come. When Im pleased with not only the car I purchased but the fine customer service I received theres no keeping me quiet. Thanks to all of you that has helped me in the purchase of my car. I am pleased to say I would come back again myself to purchase a vehicle from Adams Group. Thanks Again Christian for making it a pleasant time during choosing my car.

The price that my vehicle was advertised for online....was NOT the price they sold it for. I was told that the selling price of the vehicle was low if I paid cash. Paying cash to get the advertised price..was not ADVERTISED! I ended up paying 3,000.00 more for the car,than it was advertised for....the only reason I still purchased the car is because it had low mileage and still under original warranty. Very unhappy about being LIED to on the selling price..will not recommend

Here are the FACTS, I've called this dealership 7 "seven" times to (PURCHASE) a 2008 Maserati Quattroporte which I was already approved for over the amount of the asking price. After my third call the manger finally sent the purchase order to my bank. I called back three more time to ask for pictures which after over a month I'm still waiting on after being told I would get them them the next day. Everyone was pretty helpful. Mellissa was the salesperson that worked with me. She was helpful. I came knowing what I wanted and they didn't try to put me in anything else. She took me on a long enough test drive to test different situations such as the interstate. I feel like a lot of test drives are rushed but she didn't rush us and still spent plenty of time with us even though it was a saturday and they were pretty busy. I only talked to one salesperson but Mellissa was laid back and only asked what I wanted. She never gave me the stereotypical used car salesman vibe, she wasn't fast talking and didn't try to push me out of my budget like you often get. It was an easy painless experience and I would go back in the future.

As it was a really busy day when we visit Adams Auto, someone from the staff always ask if there was something they could do for us while we where waiting. I will purchase from them again. While we where they, we encounter with a very knowledgable finance manger, name Rena'. Super guy he is. I have never came accross someone so smart and can communicate to you so that you totally understand everything that is happening. From my observation, all the salepersons, work well together. Went with a 4 month old son after work, not the best idea...... But the salesman, Paul was great during the whole process. He even brought my son some snacks and something to drink when he complained he was hungry. Was impressed with the whole process and with the entire staff. Will be recommending this dealership to all my friends and family.

Buying a van from Chuck was easier than I could have ever hoped for. My purchase was again outstanding. if you are looking for a fancy building and fake smiles adams auto group is NOT for you.. however if you are looking for a good quality car that you will be giving the chance to take it to your mechanic to look at it adams is most def the place to go to...you will like the simple non complicated process and you will be treated fairly. i knew the owner since he started adams auto group ears ago and he always been fair and reasonable. just bought my 3thrd nissan altima for my doughter...highly recommended A+++. troy b.

"i looked for a car for over 40 days ,everytime i looked ADAMS vehicles were by far better quality ,better value ,over ninty percent of ADAMS cars off-lease ,selection is huge over 350 cars ,my credit was not great but yet i was treated fairly,off course i paid more interest but was very glad to deal with them especially with chris bohr the salesman,and his boss chuck.if you are looking for a no pressure sales atmosphere they are the one ,,,look no further ,highly recommended.."

I called Adams Auto Group 10/10 saving I was interested in buying a used car and I told them 2 cars they had that I was interested in. I made an appointment for 10/11 to see and drive the 2 cars and the person I spoke with said he would have the 2 cars ready for me. On 10/11 my wife and I got off work and drove to Adams Auto Group, when we got there, I was told the 2 cars were not there. This turned out to be a total waste of time for me and my wife. The attitude seemed to be, Adams Auto Group didn't have time for us. We left very disappointed.

Great pople to deal with,very pleasant transaction,the Acura mdx i bought was $3000 cheaper than any mdx listed within 200 miles ,they allowed me to take it to the acura dealership where it checked perfect,they helped me getting it financed with better rates than my credit union was willing to offer me. will buy from ADAMS AUTO GROUP again. higly recommended.

Made us wait for an hour for a vehicle already sold!!! strictly unethical practice - if you ask for carfax report - they say site is down! They do not hesitate to go harsh, rude on a customer!!! Stay Away!

very pleasant experience ,very easy to deal with,they let you take your time to test the car without a salesman present,(i think thats the only place in town that lets you do that,i dont know of any dealership that let you do that and this this my 7th time i buy a car but most likely to buy another one soon for my grand son. highly recommended.

I think a lot of the negative reviews are due to unrealistic expectations. You have to understand that this is not your big-name chain auto dealership. It a more of om & popoperation (if that analogy is appropriate). Being that it not your big corporate operation, the WAY they do business is different. Not bad necessarily, just different. Sometimes that to your advantage! My wife and I just drove from Durham, NC to examine and purchase a car, and had a great experience. We were coming down for a specific car (we knew exactly what we wanted, and had done all our research, AutoCheck, etc on that vehicle in their inventory). We had called them and pre-negotiated a final price over the phone, making it clear that we intended to buy if we were happy with what we saw. When my wife and I got there, David gave us the keys first thing, and allowed us to go out onto the lot to inspect the car ourselves, inside and out, without a salesman present. (How many dealerships let you do that?) When we were ready to test drive, they let us take it out alone, and when we were ready to purchase, the paperwork was quick and easy (yet thorough). David tried to explain that Adams can offer the prices that they do because they don put a lot of money into cars that the big dealerships do---for example, putting new tires on cars and then marking up the vehicle price. So, if you know these things going in and are willing to take care of that kind of stuff yourself, you can save a lot of money! We got our ream carfor a couple thousand less than what a local dealership was willing to let it go for, and it still has factory warranty left on it!

One word...Beaware!! I spent more than a week with this dealer to buy a car from them, I decided on one car and called 3 threes before going to confirm if car has clean carfax. They mentioned on ad and on phone that it is perfect. After driving when about to buy after asking for carfax 10 times, he showed me and it has structure damage, accident etc. Almost bought a piece of junk. Stupid of me I later show another car on their site with clean carfax. I took it to dealership and found there is a major engine and suspension issue. I decided not to believe them anymore. YOU WILL REGRET, ONE LAST ADVICE STAY AWAY AND YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF FROM PAIN.
