Ray Adams Toyota is honest and helpful in every aspect. They are knowledgeable and considerate to the wallet. I worked on cars in my early years and have dealt with a lot of mechanics in my past. I would garentee your expectations would be met. They solved my Tacoma tire problem do to their knowledge and experience.

I was referred by a friend to work with Mr. Najeme after a coworker overheard me expressing concerns about email communications with another salesman. I contacted Mr.Nejame & told him that I wanted to buy a 4runner for a great deal. I also wanted to pick the car via internet,come in sign contracts &drive off. He assured me that he would make this happen and HE DID JUST THAT!!! I am not an easy person to please & I ask a million questions. I am extremely satisfied. Ask for Mr.Najeme!!

I then returned to Lacy who could match the offer fr other dealer as well as answer any questions. Good place to buy a car/good (if expensive) service dept. Use coupons!!Everything in cars these days is very complicated and costs $$$. Having said that, Toyota is THE way to go car wise/and this is the BEST local Toyota dealer for KCMO area.

My air conditioner wasn't working and I couldn't afford the repair needed to completely fix the problem. They carefully explained what I needed did a temporary repair that was within my budget. They gave me an estimate of the complete. Repair cost to enable me to budget for it.

I stopped while passing through MO to get oil change in my Tundra while pulling RV trailer on multi state trip. The staff was friendly and professional. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because I noticed after I was about 100 miles down the road that the Maintenance Required light was still on and had not been reset. I'll have to find my owner's manual now to see if I can reset this or if I have to take to another dealer to get it reset. Also, their price was about $20 more for a synthetic oil change than my home dealer.

I took my Toyota Highlander to Adams Toyota because my parents have been returning customers since I was little and I needed a recall completed. They were so extremely impressive in every way - from the initial drive up for service, the greeting, the walking through of the services, the complimentary car wash, and the professional guidance on what to look for and what was wrong!! It was so impressive, I started getting my oil changed there, too. I always thought going to the dealer was the most expensive oil change, but Adam's is not!! In fact, it's about half of what I had been paying for years at Jiffy Lube!! I also need to add that I am a woman that knows very little about cars. However, they don't treat me like I'm anyone different! They are extremely professional, and I trust what they're telling me to get fixed! In fact, they've recommended nothing so far, which is different than any other service I've ever received anywhere else!! Thanks, Adams'!! I love this place!!

Ryan helped me in a pinch. I took my new Lexus for first oil change/tire rotation to Honda (whom I've trusted forever) but they didn't have right equipment to perform the service. (My bad!) I originally avoided going to Adams Toyota for service bc family has not been impressed with wait times for simple service like oil change (like waiting 2 hours). I told Ryan my issue as I left Honda and pulled into Toyota and he quickly fixed my problem and my car was done in 10 minutes!! Thanks Ryan for taking care of me so efficiently!!

Adam met me immediately and processed my last minute oil change (and wash). I was able to wait in a comfortable and quiet area which allowed me to do some work. I am not sure how long things took as I was absorbed in paper work but it sure seemed fast. I highly recommend the service department at Adams Toyota.

I called ahead and had to leave a message- no return call. I arrived and was able to get right in as only my car was in line and two people in lobby area took over two hours to get new tires - very frustrating - during this time others arrived and even left ahead of me - multiple times I heard service agents coming in or discussing on the phone additional items that were needed for their repairs. And yes mine did too. Disappointed in how service tech handled people and the amount of time it took to get four new tires.

They beat the Costco pricing by a lot and provided a great buying experience! Even provided the sales managers car as a demo do that it would have all of the features we wanted. I setup an appointment and they greeted us at the door by name. A much different experience than I had at one of the other dealerships!

Alberto was phenomenal! He answered every question I threw at him while being very patient with me since we had over 40 emails between us. By the time I got to the dealership, we knew exactly what I wanted in my car, so our first meeting was just like old friends getting together. He was very professional in covering everything with us and got us the best deal possible. Jess was thorough in the finance department and covered every option we had available so we left feeling like he truly cared. I would definitely feel comfortable calling either of them with any issues and know they would do their best to get me what I needed.

I came in to get four new tires and since I was in for that added the 30,000 mile service 1,500 miles early. Made the appt. 2 wks. in advance giving them tire preference and info. Called two days prior to appt. to verify tires were in shop, they said they were. Checked in that morning 8:30 a.m. and was assured the tires were in shop. At 10:30 a.m. tech came to tell me 30,000 service was done, but tires weren't delivered yet and could I wait. I was furious and explained I'd called two days prior and was told tires were in, that I was also told that morning tires were in. I said if I'd known tires weren't in I wouldn't have had the 30,000 service 1,500 miles early. Tech apologized, I said basically two different people lied to me and took advantage making me wait 2 hrs. knowing the tires weren't in the shop. Tech said tires would arrive any minute. At 11:30 a.m. tech came and said, oh the tires still aren't here and even if them came now we couldn't have you out of here by your noon deadline. I had them remount the existing tires and told them I would never use their dealership again. Total of three people lied and they took advantage doing the 30,000 service when they knew my priority was the tires. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and will never go there again.

My trade in value was agreed t and the price of the new car was agreed to so I have no complaints, its the old 80's push a piece of paper back and forth as they go for approval (or not) on the deals. I've been here before. I put down a deposit and said I wanted the aftermarket starter installed before I Picked it up. The issue came when I had to wait for the vehicle I wanted to come in. I was told Monday or Tuesday. No problem. No word so I called on Tuesday. Wednesday or Thursday. OK. Thursday vehicle is in and I clean out my trade in and head down to pick up the vehicle. The car came in from another city and had 450 miles on it. The remote start wasn't installed and when I wasn't happy they wanted me to tell them what would make me happy. My "NEW" car buying experience had just been shot to xxxx and I didn't have a good feeling about it anymore so I had them credit me back and I left. I will buy my new vehicle somewhere else. It also smelled as though someone had smoked in the new vehicle. Never again will I darken this dealers door.

I bought my Toyota Yaris from them back in 2006. They wouldn't even begin to negotiate a price with us, granted it was a new model, but even $500 flexibility is doable! We were even paying cash! Then they overcharged me to sign the papers (I ended up getting a refund through a lawsuit initiated by another party, YEARS later). I've gotten several oil changed from them over the years too, and any time that I try to ask them about an issue I am having, they say "we don't have enough time for that" RUDE. The only reason I've gone there lately is to use the refund card I received. I don't even want to spend that money there. I've had SOME decent interactions with oil changed, but not enough to make me want to give them business ever again. I shouldn't even had made my initial purchase, either. As soon as I bought the car and they took me to get gas, the salesman was complaining about how I shifted gears. Ridiculous :/

Who enjoys going to buy cars from a dealership? The hassle, the badgering, all around typical "sales" guy? Not here! I absolutely loved this place. I drove almost 5 hours with a 6 month old to go and get a vehicle from this dealership because they had what I was looking for. Knowing the drive I had ahead of myself I was not to excited because "I knew" I would be there for hours, haggling and being badgered to add this or that, buy this car not that or worse case scenario have to turn around empty handed because what the dealership promised me was not true.This was the most hassle free environment I have ever been in. Everyone was extremely friendly and personable, no one seemed fake. People were very honest and were concerned about your needs and helping you get what you needed. I was in and out of there in about 2 hours. Granted I had been pre approved through my bank and I had already worked the deal over the phone and email but I did not have to fight to keep what was already discussed with prices, the vehicle was as they promised, and they did not try and sale me more than what I wanted. I would make that drive again any day to purchase a vehicle. I highly recommend this place!

The worse sales experience we have dealt with. You dont tell people that a deal is done and are reassured by the sales person , his boss and GM that the deal is complete. Finalize all paperwork and leave to be told on Monday afternoon to return the car unless we have $ 12,000 ! The salesman did his job but to be told numerous times and we questioned the fact that we were upside down in our car that due to outstanding credit score with 0 % the new car would be financed. Do NOT WASTE your time with this dealership. I was the impression that since this was a USAA dealership that they were in good standing. Well they were just the opposite.

Referred here by Geico in April of 2011, for a used honda Element. was told by 3 different salespeople that the vehicle taxes could be rolled into the financing, and was promised that the trailer hitch I had on my previous element could be recycled onto the new one easily, in about 45 mins. when I got to the DMV, I got surprised with a $1300 bill for taxes and registration fees, and had to spend a week arguing with each salesperson I spoke with up the chain before they would make good on their promise. When I brought the car back for the promised trailer hitch, it took 4 hours for them to get it bolted on, and they gave it back to me with the wiring so messed up the brake lights on my trailer would only come on when I signaled to turn left. Stay away, stay very far away.

Good prices, decent staff, and nice waiting area. However, Adam's has bad practices at the time of sale. As others have warned, it seems as if there are certain cars they push as if there is a quota of some sort. There is no privacy, so everyone can hear your conversations and information.

service did work on an 1989 celica (60.00 dollar dignostic) . said problem was in the dash charged an needed extra 100.00 to take the dash out . couldnt fix the heater control because they dont make the part any more... do u think they should have told me that before? now into it for 160.00. i found the part in 20 mins.(70.00) now they want another 100.00 to put it in!....

A note to thank you for the great service I received when I came in for a tire light on. A young man came out right away, checked all 4 tires (including the spare) and put air in all of them on the spot without me even having to leave my vehicle! I would say I was in and out of there within 15 minutes tops! A manager even came out to greet me and help the young man working on my vehicle. Best of all, this was done free of charge! I love my Toyota and appreciate the excellent service.

I have given Adams Toyota the "great" rating in every category because of the buying experience we had with the dealership and the salesman, Patrick. Each was exemplary! Patrick was very thorough, considerate, and thoughtful. He explained all of the features of the Camry, before our purchase and made sure we understood after the sale was completed. My wife and I have purchased many cars through the years and we appreciated Patricks salesmanship. We gave us time to try the car, discuss our options, and consider alternatives. He did not pressure us, although was good at directing the sale and anticipating our needs. We would not hesitate to contact him at any time and feel he would always assist us as best he could.So, would we recommend the dealership, Adams Toyota? Definitely!!!

Great price and very quick service. Priced car on-line, was in and out in 1 hour. We had a very good experience with Scott and Ryan. They were responsive to our email questions, very knowledgeable about the product, and took as much time as was needed to help us find the right vehicle. We felt the price was fair and that we were well treated. They were upfront with all costs involved and generally very pleasant to deal with. There were no surprises at signing. We also had a very good experience with the finance manager. Based on our overall experience with Adams Toyota, we would recommend them to others.

This is the most pushy sales organization. They have their first-line people out in front like the other reviewer said. There are about 8 to 10 of these and no-one else besides us is there shopping. These people are the grunts who run and get vehicles to test drive. They also try to push Demo models on you. It's like they have a predetermined list of these to push and get extra compensation if they sell one. Then, when they get you to say you might be interested in a particular vehicle, they hand you off to the next level salesman, who sits around at these high bar-stool style round tables. This next person uses all the classic tactics, trying to get you to talk about payments rather than an actual price. They are very high pressure and if you make an offer, they have to take it to a third level person etc.It is such a nightmare and we have shopped there twice, once 2 years ago and then today. I get the willys when I walk in there - it hasn't changed a bit. The first time I just gave up on getting a Camry and stopped by the GM dealer and bought a car with so much less hassle.

Overall a high pressure, try to screw you, environment. General sales people are treated like crap and required to stand outside in the below 20 degree weather waiting for customers to drive up.<br><br>Sales managers were rude and when they cannot get the deal they want they insult the customer. All we did was tell them honestly what we needed and they did nothing but lie to us!<br><br>We will never, repeat never, do business with them again and highly recommend others use caution if you do decide to visit them.
