My husband and I recently purchased our Ford Expedition at Affordable Used Cars. The service is, as it has always been, wonderful. Our sales associate is so great to work with and he always remembers us by name when we come in to the dealer. He really enjoys his job, that is obvious!! He is always available to answer our questions or to take care of whatever issues crop up. Came in to trade in my Subaru Impreza for a SUV. Drove thru the parking lot & found a Chevy Traverse we liked. Walked in & Dave acknowledged us right away even though he had someone at his desk. This is the sort of dealership I always wished existed when shopping for cars and didn't want to be bothered until I was ready to ask questions or do business without being harassed. It was refreshing to roam the lot without being accosted by salesmen and their barrage of uncomfortable questions. The test drive technique was awesome, allowed me to get a feel for the vehicle without being distracted by a salesman chirping in my ear the entire drive. I received a very fair deal for my trade-in and the new used vehicle was priced exactly as it should have been. There wasn't a ridiculous mark up, it was exactly what I would expect to pay and without the hassle of unrealistic negotiations. The salesman that assisted me, Brett Wade, was professional, knowledgable of the inventory, and answered all my questions without skipping a beat. The entire process was smooth and seamless, I was in and out in less than an hour; my trade-in estimate, financing, paperwork...all completed that fast. It takes me longer to buy groceries at Fred's. If a person wants the sort of buying experience where they are hovered over at all times then they should go elsewhere, this is not the sort of dealership that participates in that kind of shenanigans. If I was ever in the market for another used car, this is the dealership I would start with first.

Salesman I spoke with, named Shorty took great care of me, offered me a very reasonable price to buy my Civic. By dealing with this dealership I was able to quickly sell my car. We went to Affordable to sell our car, not trade it in. They gave us a very fair price relative to what Kelly Blue Book and Nada said we would get. The whole process was super easy and probably took less than 15 minutes. They didnt try to sell us another car or anything like that either. I just bought my Dodge Ram from Shorty at Affordable, and he was extremely helpful. Though he was very busy, he managed to answer every question and assist me in my search. He was the one who told me to look at their Anchorage location, and that he could get a truck shipped up if I was interested. Needless to say, I found a truck on a Wednesday, and on Tuesday/Wednesday it was here in Fairbanks getting cleaned and ready for me. I signed the bank papers Saturday. I recommend them to all of you looking for car/truck.

Living in a small town in Alaska makes it incredibly difficult to car shop. David Sivigliano made this process easy. I called Dave a week before I was able to make it to Fairbanks and he sent pics of my truck and kept in touch all week to assure me my truck was going to be there for me. Once I arrived it was there waiting and after a few signatures Dave had me on my way back home. I can easily see why dave has been around for 20 years. That experience shows. With the typical car salesman in mind combined with my personal experience at other dealerships, I encouraged her to sell privately. I'm glad she was able to sway me into stopping in: we were addressed promptly, Shorty (yes, that's his name) to the car around the block and not only offered my a fair price outright, but even more than I anticipated. well for one thing car shopping in Alaska can be a big hassle and expensive process but look no further. Affordable used cars has been my car buying hero, sales man David has been a big help to me from the first time I walked in to AFFORDABLE USED CARS he has fought for me too get the best deal with loan companies and putting me in a great vehicle to my liking which is a 2012 NISSAN ALTIMA 37,000 MILES you will not find another dealership that works as hard as AFFORDABLE USED CARS and provide such a great customer services so my advice to fellow military members and car buyers such as myself is STOP GOING TO DEALERSHIPS THAT WILL TALK A GOOD GAME BUT END UP GETTING OVER ON YOU AND CUT THE CRAP WITH AFFORDABKLE USED CARS!!!!!!!!!!! :PFC KENNEDY

I wanted to find an affordable car, and drove through all of the road construction to the Affordable Used Car lot. The experience was mostly self-serve. I was given keys to test drive a car I was inquiring about. Was told it was out in the right hand side of the lot, had to wonder around trying to locate the vehicle.. When I returned I was pretty much ignored, told to wait for the salesman that was on the phone. There was no place to wait, so I just stood there. Not much customer service happening. I eventually chatted with a salesman, but he didn't offer much input. Later I called him back via telephone, and he arranged financing. When I returned he was on vacation. My second attempt to look for other options on the lot, resulted in wondering the lot by myself. Eventually, the other salesman came out with a new salesman, and asked how I liked my second test drive. The car wasn't what I wanted. Cars in this lot seem overpriced. We stood in the lot and talked about some cars that may be coming into the lot in another month. I am still looking for a car that fulfills my needs.

The second vehicle's brakes needed replacing within a few weeks! This company knows how to quickly and easily sell vehicles within the hour it seems, but when it comes to quality and customer service after you have already purchased the vehicle it is totally YOUR problem now and the thought of offering any "help" is a foreign word. When you ask for any information or assistance not even a finger is held out in times of need. There is a "no-hassle guarantee" when you purchase the vehicle because why disclose important information when nasty salesmen can just hide it from you? I am quite disgusted with our purchases and extremely UNSATISFIED. I will never have any good thoughts that come from Affordable Used Cars as it has drained me and my family financially. Anyone looking to buy a car? Don't even glance at this business, unless you wish to receive extremely poor service. Is there a possible choice of ZERO stars?

I was pretty amazed how easy it was to buy a car from Affordable and I would highly recommend talking to Shorty when you do. Super laid back but attentive - he's the best when it comes to no pressure sales. Just an informative guy who is happy to help when needed and lays back when decisions are being made. The fact that my wife and I looked at a car we wanted, test drove it, took it for a day, and then bought it with no money down still blows me away! It was a really nice low mileage rig, too, so we happily added the extended warranty and guess what? We didn't have to put anything down on that, either. Thanks Shorty!

Purchased a Honda Pilot from them and couldn't believe how easy the process was. I've purchased many vehicles over the years and have NEVER had this easy and comfortable experience as with affordable. Shorty Williams made the process as easy as could be, understood the issues my family faced with being military getting ready to PCS and needing a reliable sturdy family vehicle that could keep us safe on the drive out. Also had issues with getting there at certain times due to work hours, so when it came time to purchase, Shorty had all the paperwork done and the process took us maybe 5min for purchase. From the moment you walk into the store, you feel comfortable and relaxed and NEVER pressured into anything. I went around to a few other larger dealerships around town, and typically had to walk around to find someone to help me and was treated like they were doing me a favor. Not at affordable. From the moment you shake Shorty's hand you feel like your buying a car from an old family friend who cares more about your needs then making a quota. I truly wish there were more car dealerships like this around, because I will need a new vehicle for myself in a few years and don't think i'm ever going to find an experience like this again. any Active Duty or non looking for a great vehicle at a great price, GO SEE SHORTY!!!! He'll take care of ya from the moment you want in the store till the moment you drive off the lot!!

I bought a Titan from Mike Zanazzo 2 weeks before I was supposed to drive my family out of Alaska to the lower 48. After taking it home I noticed a leak underneath the from differential. I stopped by Affordable and Mike handled and fixed everything in time for my move. EXCELLENT customer service! I have nothing but good things to say about Mike and Affordable.

We moved to Fairbanks and needed a new truck. Everyone recommended Affordable and they didn't dissapoint. Smoothest car buying experience with friendly and knowledgeable employees. Our salesman Shorty made sure we go to test drive all the trucks we were interested in and never rushed us through the process. It was an excellent experience and before we knew it, we were out the door with our new truck.

My parents and I were recommended to go see Dave at Affordable by a rental lady at the airport,and I am so thankful we did! We were welcomed with open arms by Dave. He is definitely experienced and knows what he is doing! Every question my dad and i had were answered by Dave. I can honestly say he went above and beyond to fit my needs when purchasing the vehicle I wanted. I had a criteria,and he made it! He was so great! Dave gave me his card and told me if i needed anything to not hesitate to give him a call,and since then he still is so helpful! You can tell he really loves his job, and helping people when it comes to buyinga vehicle. he is by far the best car dealer I've met! I wouldnt recommended any other dealership in the area!I will forever recommend this dealership to all my friends!Affordable's facility is clean,everyone is so friendly,and unlike any other dealership here in fairbanks- you are able to see the price and mileage of each car! Shorty, (yes his name is Shorty) is very experienced. Hes been at Affordable for a very long time. I was looking to get something used, they have a very good selection of vehicles. The staff will remember you by name. It truly is a hassle free environment. They wont pressure you what so ever and they will help you in any way, shape or form. Most the cars they will sell you is actually under the blue book value and is winterized (we need that in alaska). You see cars from this deal ALL around town. I bet if you ask every singe person who has purchased a car from here have had a wonderful experience. Im somewhat new to the area and if you have any questions about anything (good places to eat) or anything at all, you can ask them and they will even help you out with that. Im going to need a second car soon and I AM going there, with out a doubt.
