Paid about $5000 for a Honda Element just for it to last 3 days before the engine began misfiring. Also my mechanic said the starter needed to be replaced. Of course the starter worked fine after the dealer already warmed up the vehicle for the test drive. After that it barely turned over from a cold start every time. It's going to cost me $3000-$3500 to replace the engine and starter. So much for that clean CarFax report. Sent him an email about the issues which he never replied to. How convenient it was for him to have to leave MN the day he sold me a lemon for the full amount in cash. Worst buying decision of my life. Avoid this dealer.

it was very easy to set up an appointment to look at a 2009 Kia Optima. Nick was very nice and easy to talk to at the test drive. Bought the car immediately after the test drive, the price was an amazing deal. However, a couple weeks after I purchased the car the engine began to make a ticking/crackling sound. I neglected to get it looked at until about a month later, which was an awful decision. I found out the car needed a new timing chain, but because I had continued to drive it with the bad timing chain, the motor was screwed up further and the car needed a new engine. (AM Auto Sales did not know there was anything wrong with the timing chain when they sold me the car.) So my dad contacted Nick and explained the situation because I hadn't had the car for very long, and even though he didn't have to do anything about it he stepped up and payed roughly 75% of the final cost to replace the engine. I am so very grateful for his help because there is no way I would have been able to afford to replace the engine, I am only 20 years old, in college, and working part time. Definitely would recommend buying from AM Auto Sales! They're a very small used auto dealer, but it's run by great people who will not leave you hanging!
