I have been looking for a used car for my daughter for about 4 months. It was starting to become a real pain. Then I ran into Will Buis at Arnie Bauer in the Matteson Auto Mall. They had just the car I was looking for. During the test drive my salesman noticed something was not right and offered to have it fixed at no cost before I took delivery. Pretty honest. He made sure I had an owners manual and never was pushy. That's rare when you buy a car now days. The finance person Trina was very nice as well. The place is super clean as well. First let me say that if you're going to buy from Arnie Bauer Cadillac (which I highly recommend), Frankie is the person you want to talk to. I found my car online and submitted an inquiry. Frankie got in touch with me almost immediately. Drove all the way from South Central Wisconsin to look at a 2012 Cadillac SRX, that had the exterior color and interior scheme that I wanted. The asking price that was being asked was very reasonable, and when I offered a few hundred dollars below that, the offer was accepted. Overall experience was great, I arrived around 10:30 AM and after a test drive a brief negotiation, I drove off the lot with the SRX that I had looked at by 1 PM. I would not recommend my dog to Arnie Bauer. A week after purchasing a 2011 GMC, it was back at the dealership for service and repair. The guys in the service department are EXTREMELY RUDE and unfriendly. The truck needed $800.00 worth of service done to it. When my husband called and asked how this could happen (seeing we only had it less than a week before we took it back) the service department informed us that we bought a used vehicle what were we expecting. They did pay for the repairs, but after I picked it up it sound horrible. From the car lot to my house the truck squealed really bad. I am so unhappy and upset with this entire situation. If I wanted something that squealed or needed repairs I would've kept what I had.I will never do business with this company again, and I will tell any and everyone not to go there. By far the worst buying experience ever.

I would not recommend my dog to Arnie Bauer. A week after purchasing a 2011 GMC, it was back at the dealership for service and repair. The guys in the service department are EXTREMELY RUDE and unfriendly. The truck needed $800.00 worth of service done to it. When my husband called and asked how this could happen (seeing we only had it less than a week before we took it back) the service department informed us that we bought a used vehicle what were we expecting. They did pay for the repairs, but after I picked it up it sound horrible. It is still squealing really bad. I will never do business with this company again, and I will tell everyone not to go there. By far the worst buying experience ever.

I was very surprised at the ease of transaction, that took place. I have been in dealerships before and spent what seemed like hours, but my experience at Arnie Bauer was extremely pleasant and straight forward. In dealing with this particular dealership for a recall I was impressed on the willingness of the staff to work with me in getting my car serviced and back to me. My mom needs constant care, they made it possible to get my car to me with no hassle. From that point I knew I was getting my next car from them, and they did not disappoint. I purchased a Cadillac XTS from Arnie Bauer in Matteson, IL. This was truly a pleasurable purchase for me. My salesperson, Melanie was friendly, informative and professional. She let me know she really wanted to close the deal with me, but she didn't go overboard which would have turned me off. This dealership was professional and patient each step of the way, from sales to finance to acclimating me with the operation of the car. I would definitely make future purchases at Arnie Bauer.

Best car buying experience I've had in the 30 years I've been buying cars. The deal was completely negotiated over the internet. My wife and I drove 4.5 hours to purchase this car. We were concerned they may try to adjust the price of our trade or something else after we drove that far. Our fears disappeared within five minutes of our arrival at the dealership. Great people to deal with. I wished I lived closer, I'd buy all of my vehicles from these guys.

The sales person I worked with was new and inexperienced. So new, nobody bothered to changed the voice mail greeting at his extension (very unprofessional in my opinion). But I had worked out a great deal on a car, but the finance department is a joke. The jacked up the rate by at least 1% point (yes,people, this is legal) and that blew the deal. I have a 800+ credit score and they were trying to tell me the best rate I could get was 4.25%. I have since bought a car identical to the one I was buying from them from the same banks they had me approved at but for 3% for the same 72 month term. In my opinion, the finance department is shady and should be avoided at all costs. Bring your own financing. I would have done that myself, but the woman in the finance department was very rude and unprofessional.

I came in to do a oil and filter change,the service techs at the dealership told me that it would be less than an hour. After a few minutes he came back to tell me that the computer found that my cabin filter needed to be replaced and my tires while I was here needed to be rotated and you guys did it with no charge. The navigation system in the 2015 Verano we wanted to lease did not work. The Service Dept. checked it out and did some research. They gave us a loaner and ordered the necessary part. When it came in, they installed it and called us. We went back to the dealership where they explained the navigation system and paired our phones to the car. Everyone was very helpful.

The service Guy,Mark was wonderful. But after my car was serviced I had to bring it back several times, until mark suggested another solution in which it definitely worked, good guy. Besides that majority of everyone there is friendly.sometimes I think the mechanics can be slow in fixing your car or even doing an oil change, overall they provide decent service. Arnie Bauer helped me to step into my first Cadillac...A 2013 SRX luxury edition. My Salesperson, Tom Sinon, was direct, fair, reasonable and extremely professional. With some of my previous car purchases, I felt exhausted leaving the dealership. This was not the case at Arnie Bauer. The price was fair, and the negotiation process was reasonable. I would definitely recommend Arnie Bauer for those seeking an upscale car buying experience. I must qualify the N/A facilities rating...Arnie Bauer is in the middle of construction, so they are operating out of a tent in the interim, with a portable bathroom trailer...I have not experienced their facilities in a fully built state and to rate them on this right now would not be fair.

I brought in a Pontiac Grand Am GT 2002 because of loss of power and trouble shifting out of first gear. The work was non-warranty. I'm happy with the work that was done. A little pricey but, as long as it's done right, I'm ok with it.

I bought a Cadillac xts premium edition. The sales person Frank was absolutely wonderful. He really explained the components to the vehicle as well as helping me achieve the best deal and investment. It has been a extremely nice experience purchasing our New Car from Arnie Bauer. Kathy Woods called the next day after my husband and I did some late night surfing on Arnie's Website. she was very professional and took notes ...we were immediately inspired after speaking with her to come in and check out the inventory. We also spoke with Kathy about our fiances, and( our desire to keep our payments at a affordable level) also about our Buick Enclave that we would be trading in. Once we arrived at the dealership Tom, walked us thru the inventory and price range of the vehicles and based on the information that Kathy supplied him , he was able to suggest the best Enclave for our budget. My husband and I have purchased lots of New Cars in the 37 years that we've been married, this has been one of the Best experiences that we've had. I Had taken my son to Arnie Bauer because he needed a car to get to and from his destinations.. When we got to the Auto Mall I drove around the whole place and I went into Arnie Bauer and as soon as we got out of the car There was steve mccaulley to meet and greet us with a great smile and wonderful personality. He asked us a few questions to see what we were interested in. My son wanted some type of Chevy car I was against it so I went off on my own and touch this Buick Le sabre. When i say it touch me back, I really mean that it touch me back. I told my son this is the car and I love it. It was roomy and big the colr was a pearl white with tan leather seats. Steve took us in and processed the application. Steve McCauley kept us laughing the whole time and kept us at ease. I was on vacationa nd my son work long hours. I really appreciate Steve he is absoulutley wonderful not afraid to take chances when selling the product and he always kept a smile on his face. Also the young man named Jeff in finance was awesome as well. I really apprciate you guys for making the experience for my son easy and pleasant. KEEP UP THE GREAT SERVICE WITH A SMILE.

I went in to purchase a vehicle for my wife as a surprise but the surprise was on me, she didn't like it. Went back with her and purchased a 2014 XTS and she is ecstatic. Salesman Frankie Welcome was so helpful throughout the process and really worked to make sure she was happy. You know what they say (Happy Mama = Happy Papa) and we are both extremely happy and love our new vehicle. Everyone one there was great and Kathy Woods helped me initially and worked with me as well. I typically do not write reviews but feel I need to in this case. I am willing to give Arnie Bauer 0 stars. We recently purchased a used vehicle for my mother in law who was just very recently widowed. We needed to get her something that did not hamper her with payments. We found a used 2006 Buick Rendezvous with mileage in the 6 digit range. Because of this, we inquired about how they handled used cars. I was told that it went through their 115 point inspection and only cars qualified to their standards would be sold on their lot. They also mentioned that they will guarantee the engine for the life of the vehicle which was a huge selling point. The carfax indicated 2 owners with no previous accidents. Knowing this is a used car, I understand there are limitations to service. Since I was unable to pick up the vehicle with my mother in law, she picked it up with my wife and friends. After owning the vehicle for under 1 week, we have had to replace an o2 sensor because of an engine light, the driver side door window was found to be cracked, the passenger side headlight can be removed from outside of the vehicle and is only held by the electrical connection, the back seat arm rest was broken off, etc. I called and asked for them to fix the cracked window and unattached headlight. Effectively, once the vehicle is sold, there is no support from Arnie Bauer and even worse customer service. I was repeatedly told that the vehicle was used and what did I expect? Beware of this dealership and their lack of concern for vehicles once they are sold. You would be foolish to purchase from them.

The guys I dealt with at Arnie Bauer were really great. I worked with a few dealers, and this is where I went back to purchase our Buick Enclave. Lee in sales was great. He worked within our budget and ultimately found exactly what we were looking for. He wasn't pushy. He was nice, honest and really genuine. I recommend them for any gmc, Buick or Cadillac purchase. I haven't had to bring our new car in for service, but know that that experience will also be better than most given the experience I had purchasing and trading in my vehicle. Oh, and the finance guy was also great. He was very patient and understanding, as well.
