Von T. Clarke came out of his air conditioned office to see if he could help me. The sun was really bearing down The temperature was about 99 degrees. Von stayed with me for about an hour. We finally found a truck on the back lot. He informed me what the price was. I offered a very low-ball price. He phoned some one that had the authority to lower the price. I bought the truck. Von was really helpful in getting the truck ready for me to pickup. The whole experience was very good I enjoyed the whole time we were roaming the lot and looking for just the right deal. We went inside to get the paperwork done. We worked with Thomas Williams. Great Guy. He had us ready to go in 10 minutes. Took time to use his cell phone to go to my Facebook Page to look at my 1960 Impala.

I had a very smooth experience from start to finish. I dealt with Dave Cash who was VERY knowledgeable about the vehicles he is selling. I felt I was given a good price on my trade in and they worked with me to make the whole deal work out to my budget!!!

When buying a car, no one wants pressure. There's none at this dealership. We were asked what we were looking for and shown the merchandise accordingly. We already had a Chevrolet Equinox and were pleased with it. We upgraded to an LT and are very pleased with it. The employees are exceptional.

Walked up to Matt that Saturday morning. Told him what I wanted, how much I wanted to spend. They valued my trade and came back with an offer that I could not work with. But then Jeff the GM came over and said what do we have to do to make a deal. told him what we needed and in less than 5 minutes we had the deal that I had hoped for without a lot of back and forth. Will definitely go back when I need to purchase again from them.

Our sales person, Joe Moore and also Kevin Winters were great!! The entire team at Athens Chevrolet were awesome! A total difference from our rough experience with management from last time we used Athens Chevrolet in 2014!! The management has changed and they are more than willing to work with you and treat you like a person should be treated! They talk with you and actually listen to what you have to say and take into consideration your "everyday what life throws at you circumstances!!" I would recommend Athens Chevrolet to everyone!! Ask for Joe Moore!!! And tell them Todd and Marie Farmer sent you!! You won't regret it!! I went in no appointment needed, my truck was in 10 minutes after I got there. They started on my truck 20 minutes later did a complete check and I was out within an hour. I always take to dealer for services like this.I bought my 2004 Tahoe in February through John Ingram great salesmen called and told him what I wanted he found it called said come in I got the truck for u. I am a young car buyer, so young in fact that I went with my mom who is great with numbers and math and all the stuff that actually matters when it comes to negotiating finances in a car deal. The moment I stepped foot out of my mom's car in the Athens Chevy lot, I was met by Mr. Kevin Winters. My first thought was "he is going to be aggressive so we won't leave without a car" BUT he wasn't. He was the most laid-back guy I'd ever met at any of the car dealerships we went to. He gave us what we wanted as far as info goes and stood back while we decided. After we visited all the dealerships, we returned back to Athens Chevy to buy the car from Kevin because he was just so awesome. Mr. Cody McKinnon handled the rest of the sale. This guy was just as laid-back as Kevin and it blew my mind. They are definitely going to get my recommendation to all my friends..

This was my first time visit to Athens Chevrolet and I was very impressed by the the experience I had. I was greeted promptly and the sales consultant was very pleasant and met me with a smile ( I was there on Labor Day). I was pleased by the way he listened to inquiries and interest in the particular Chevy product I was looking for. He provided information and descriptions but did not rattle on. When test driving the truck he gave me enough space to get a feel for the vehicle and check out the various features. He and the management worked with me on the options I was looking for and reviewed several financing alternatives. I was very pleased with the final decision I made and it fit my defined budget which was very important.The dealership was very easy to get to and to access. They had a very good selection of vehicles on the lot, of all models. All of the staff I met were pleasant to talk with and no one seemed rushed or push me through a process.

He didn't push us to different colors, styles, nor features. He was a friendly salesman and pleasant to deal with. He found us the Truck made for us! I am sorry this review was so long coming but right after my purchase I was on the road in my new car for the past month! I was not really looking for a Chevy but Kevin Winters is not only a great sales person but a great friend. Only a true friend and hard working dedicated sales person would put as much time into trying to find exactly what I was in need of. He listened to my LONG list and looked diligently to find me a pre owned car with most of my wish list and more. Then as time grew close to me traveling time they were able to get all the paper work processed in a short order as to have me ready to travel. Thanks for all y'alls help and making this purchase pleasant.

Athens Chevrolet helped me special order a 2016 Cruze Limited Edition Eco. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase off the lot. A special mention must go to my salesman, Kevin Winters, and his manager, Jeff Waugh, who were extremely accomodating throughout the order and delivery process. I was treated like family. Upon delivery, they analyzed every aspect of the financing process to give me an incredible deal. I had the best purchase experience in my 63 years. Buy your Chevrolet there!!! My vehicle needed a starter and oil pressure switch and they were installed with my approval. The starter that was installed is remanufactured and I was charged over $464 plus labor for the starter. My research revealed that a remanufactured starter is available for $100-$200 and a new GM starter is available for less than $300.

My last 2 vehicles have been purchased at Athens Chevrolet, a 2008 GMC Sierra and a 2013 Malibu. What made the experience awesome was Von Clark! He is the absolute best non BS straight to the point salesman I have ever dealt with, and a super nice man. This is the 8th? vehicle we have bought from Athens Chevrolet in 9? years. I have always had a great experience and have recommended to my father in law, son and daughter,, all have bought vehicles on my recommendation. I pretty much have just showed up, told them what I want and how much I'll pay, and they always seem to get it right.My salesman, Von Clark has sold me my last three vehicles. This last truck I bought, he showed me a couple, but found the exact truck I wanted, got the price where I needed it to be and the rest is history.Highly recommend that if your looking for a car, go see Von Clark, he won't do you wrong.

They offer you great pricing at this place. The selction isnt that large but if you find something its great. The salesmen really do try and get you a good deal. John was an all around great guy. I recomend buying from him. The manager was tough but also very nice.

I normally take my business to Goodmark Chevrolet in Commerce, GA. However, Athens Chevrolet had the vehicle I was looking for, so I purchased there. I drove off the lot with my new car that only had 7 miles on it. I have great credit and was under the understanding that everything had been approved, and taken care of when I signed the loan agreement. About a week later I received a call telling me there was a change to my loan agreement. I went back to the dealership and they had raised my interest rate on my loan agreement in order for me to keep the car. At this time I was still receiving letters in the mail from other loan company's telling me the my credit had been ran by Athens Chevrolet. I drove off the lot on December 27th and returned to resign the loan agreement on December 31st. It is now January 20th and I have received another phone call saying that my employment had not been verified. I will never return to this dealership. This all should have been taken care of when I originally bought the car. I do not recommend it to anyone. If your looking for a good dealership that is truthful and very respectful go to Goodmark Chevrolet. They're some of the best group of people I have ever bought a car from. I will never go back to another dealership after this experience.

Talked on the Phone with Mike and was told he could sell me a Dodge Caravan for what price I was looking at spending. Got my kid loaded up in the car, drove 30 minutes to the dealership. Mike presented me with a number twice what he guaranteed over the phone!! Straight up misleading salesman. Would not recommend this dealership unless you want to pay too much for a car.

Price quoted on phone for 2012 Chevy Malibu was not honored when customer arrived at dealer. Further, trade-in as discussed on phone was completely ignored and dropped by 2/3, The vehicle was described in detail, dealer was given VIN, checked out the VIN and price was agreed. After customer drove 4 hours, kept stalled for an hour, the salesman presented an entirely different set of numbers for both the purchase vehicle and the trade. This is the worst kind of sleazy dealer tricks which have earned car salesman the vey low opinion buyers have. This wasn't a misunderstanding, or other possible legitimate reason - just plain lying.Avoid this place!!!
