I’m Upset, but I’m Not. For starters, Benjamin’s approach was good. He did his best to get me there and make me feel like I made a good purchase. However, after the sale, which was treated like A cash sale, within 2 days, the check engine light came on. Now I have a code reader and I know you can clear codes and it’ll look like the car is fine. The battery for the car (a hybrid) needed to be replaced. I’m almost positive they knew that because the codes would only pop up that fast if it was already in there. The warranty they sold me only covers a portion of the repair and I have to pay the rest out of pocket. Had I been told this upfront, I may have still bought the car but at a lesser price. You cannot sell a vehicle at a premium and know that it’s in need of a key component such as a hybrid battery. I still, however am in love with the car, and hoping that that is the only issue but I was not happy about that part because I trusted them to spend my money on something I’m not fixing 2 days in, and I can’t return it.

I felt like I was lied to, here is why. This guy says we have to do a credit check to see if you are approved BEFORE you can test drive. Huh? What if I dont want the car after the test drive? Credit hit for nothing. Next he proceeded tell me stories of past customers with marijuana in cars on test drives. Also, he cant do the application in office. Wait he can but the " new policy" they started that day wont allow him to do so. Riiight, prejudice is what I saw. So to sum it up, went a couple blocks up and bought a car from a more welcoming dealership. He seemed shady outwardly, wanted us to believe his words to be true. No bueno!!!

Although, I didn’t buy a car from here the dealer I talked to was very upfront and honest.

On March 19, 2021 my husband and I took my mother to get a car here that she had saw on line & wanted. Benjamin was very polite & helpful over the phone & while we were there to get the car! Very talkative & friendly! Would use them again if needed! No complaints! Thanks Benjamin! From: Chapman & Youngblood families!
