While my daughter had done a lot of web searches and printed out a few for me to review,, I had come to CO with no car and had a lot of anxiety about buying a car so quickly. I had only arrived the day before and already returned the Uhaul. Richard had just the right easy-going demeanor to put me at ease and I actually totally enjoyed the process. There was a lot of joking banter and evidence of his sincere commitment to trustworthy Salesmanship. For the few hours that the process took, Richard was fully engaged in helping us. He put off eating lunch and phonecalls. He answered all questions and provided comprehensive previous owner info. Even though,h turned us over to the Accountant, he was always around facilitating the process to the finish. He said he would follow through getting the 2nd key from the owner and he did. I have purchased over 40 cars in my life and this by far was the best experience in all areas. The sales person Rich Gouhin was very knowledgeable and patient (as I wanted to drive a few cars to make sure that the Q5 I bought was the one! Rich wanted to make sure that I understood all aspects of the car before I left the dealership and also was very helpful when I had questions the next day.There are not many dealerships that make it an enjoyable experience (like Audi Glenwood Springs), because you normally get the high pressure, back and forth (all day) haggling on price, and sales people who just care about making the fast sale....I want to thank Rich for bringing back the true meaning of good customer service!If I ever need to buy another car, I will definitely be back and think of Audi of Glenwood Springs! I just purchased a used 2015 Audi allroad from Rich Gouhin, and was very pleased with the overall experience. Rich was very responsive through e-mail on the initial inquiry, and made an appointment for me to come look at the car. He was extremely knowledgable about the Audi products, a straight shooter, and worked with me on my trade to arrive at an agreeable price. Mike Bonino was great as well, quickly processing the necessary paperwork, and finally, Ronny Ullrich was very pleasant, finishing up the financing. I love the car. This is a pretty low key dealership. I don't particularly enjoy the car buying experience, but these guys were great to work with.

Friendly, helpful, conscientious, accommodating, and quickly responded to questions and requests. Always available by phone to answer questions. Richard took time to thoroughly instruct us on the use of all of the features and technology on the car. Honest about the expected fuel economy on the Q7 TDI, we did get over 30 MPG on Interstate travel. Price was fair, but would have liked to receive more for our trade in, closer to the KBB trade in value that matched the specifications of the trade in. All in all a very pleasant car buying experience.

Glenwood Audi had the best no-haggle price on a CPO Audi Allroad in the entire metro area. While I was reluctant to make the commitment to drive 180 miles from Fort Collins to Glenwood, Richard and Jill provided extensive information and help over the phone and via email to make me feel comfortable enough to make the drive. I was not disappointed. They were welcoming and knowledgeable and the finance staff is excellent as well. I love my new-used vehicle and could not have felt more at ease with the purchase process.

I recently purchased a used '03 Audi A4 3.0 from Richard. I stumbled on the listing at cars.com and when I inquired about the vehicle Richard told me that they weren't planning on putting it on the lot, but were planning to sell it to a wholesaler instead.I had been looking for a replacement vehicle for about a month, and I really didn't want to spend a lot of money. Having been known to turn the occasional wrench I wasn't afraid of a car that needed a little TLC. What I found was just the gem I was looking for. The vehicle was pretty clean (it hadn't been to the detailer since the plan was to wholesale it) and it had a few minor problems that I thought should be expected from a used car, but overall it was a great runner.I was very impressed with how Richard and Michael did business. Even though I wasn't spending a lot of money they treated me with the upmost respect and transparency. They had their lead mechanic come in and go over a list of problems that they were aware of and wanted to make sure I understood what they were. I was perfectly fine with all of them and we closed the deal.Bridget was also a real pro handling my cash payment, the title transfer and other paperwork quickly and was very pleasant.I'd this team to anyone. They did business how I do business. They were friendly and professional, and if there were problems they were upfront and honest about them. The title of my review says it all...they are straight shooters.

The dealership is conveniently location off the Interstate. Our salesman was very knowledgeable about the Q7. He knew the history of why things were designed as they are and pointed out the upgrades since the last model. He pointed out items of high quality, such as the leather, that makes a difference in both aesthetic decisions and long lasting wear decisions. He let me get the full experience of driving the Quattro transmission during my test drive. An indoor space where the car can be reviewed would have been nice (snow storm outside).

I was waiting for a specific car to finish the certification process and Rich kept me up to date and made sure I was one of the first to see the car when it was on the lot. He was very honest about the car and its flaws. It is 3 years old so I didn't expect it to be perfect, but he pointed out some things about it that I might have missed. I liked the car and the rest of the process was smooth and straightforward, no games. That includes Bridgett in the Finance department. Overall, a good experience.

Yet was patient and stayed with us through the process. My husband is one who always wants a good deal. Rich did his best to work with us while keeping a positive and light attitude.Rich was a great teacher. There's a lot of technology and functionality in our Audi Q3. Rich was patient and had very good teaching techniques. My boss bought a car from this dealership for his second home in Colorado. I'm a personal assistant and living in California, I was challenged with having to figure out how to register the car long-distance. I called Audi Glenwood hoping to get some assistance and I was lucky enough to reach Alex who is the actual salesman who sold my boss the car. After talking for a bit and explaining my situation, Alex remembered my boss even though their interaction was months ago. He gave me all the information I needed and even gave me a direct number to reach him again if I needed him. I did end up calling him again for more help and he went out of his way to contact the tax office for me and set me up for success. Alex went way above and beyond to help me when he could easily have brushed me off, especially since the sale ended months ago and knowing I'm thousands of miles away so he may never see me face to face. THAT'S what customer service is all about, or at least should be. Go there. And ask for Alex!

Traveled 100 miles to look at a new Audi at Audi Glenwood Springs. Walked the entire parking lot, stood in the showroom then sat in the showroom and watched sales people come and go with no customers walk by without offering to help, say hello or acknowledge our presence. When leaving, I caught the eye of a salesman looking out through a window and gestured what the xxxx? Out came a bald man offering a better parking spot for my car as I was backing out and, oh, by the way is there something we wanted? Bad experience. Would definitely NOT recommend this dealer.

Buying my new car through Glenwood Audi was without question the best auto purchase experience I've had. Everyone was genuinely interested and engaging with my questions and concerns. I initially contacted the dealership via the internet, and they got back to me the same day. They helped me along each step in the process, and were very prepared upon my arrival to the store. This made the processing time very short, and I was quickly in the car with Alex learning about all the bells and whistles of the new car. Came to test drive an A6 Avant and loved it. Our bank couldn't get us in the car but their finance team did (at 3 points lower!) When I noticed a minor oil leak around the valve covers they took it back and replaced both without so much as a dime out of my pocket! Keep in mind this was an "as-is" purchase and they are under no obligation to do anything. Alex was informative and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I was even invited back to go over all of the cars features at a later date because I was in a rush to get to work. Something tells me I will be looking to upgrade in a few years when my daughters are of driving age.

My husband and I pulled off at Elk Mountain Motors on our way through Glenwood to see what used AUDI and VWs they might have in stock. Upon first look they did not have what we were searching for (a used Audi or VW wagon, or small SUV with 4 wheel drive) This vehicle would be replacing my front wheel drive 2007 VW Passat Wagon that I LOVED but I needed 4 wheel drive. I test drove a 2012 Audi Q5 with 14k miles, but quite honestly it was out of our price range, we were looking for something with more miles and a lower price tag. We were about to drive away when the Manager Jason realized he had just the vehicle for us that was not physically on the lot, we had to wait a bit for it to arrive, but when it did, he was right! It was my dream car - a black with cinnamon leather interior 2011 Audi Q5 with 50k miles. We drove it, we negotiated my trade in, got an incredible percentage rate through them, and in the end bought it! Everyone was wonderful and we drove away in a truly amazing vehicle. I was at our vacation home in Clark,Colorado (north of Steamboat Springs)when my 2010 Tiguan developed a problem that could only be fixed by a VW dealer. The Tiguan was thus towed to Elk Mountain Motors, recommended by the local auto repair facility. . Steve in the service department was professional, prompt, and friendly in discussing and diagnosing the needed repair -- which was then performed speedily.While I was on the Elk Mountain website I looked at their inventory, as I had been considering a new car. I found a great looking certified pre-owned Audi Q5, and made several calls and inquiries about the possibility of trading in my Tiguan.The initial response seemed a little slow; but I then connected with Rob, who turned out to be the salesperson of anyone's dreams. He brought the car the 140 miles to our house, coached me through a lengthy, relaxed test drive which convinced me to buy the car as quickly as I could, had worked out a payment plan with Chris, went through all the literature and due diligence, saved me money with the registration, gave me the keys and journeyed back to Glenwood Springs. Everything he promised to send has arrived. The car is all that I hoped for - and more. Except for that odd lack of interest in my first inquiry, my experience with Elk Mountain was terrific.

We came to Elk Mountain Audi with a general idea of the type of Audi we were interested in. Robert asked a few questions and made a few suggestions based on our input. He showed us a car he felt was a "perfect fit". It was in the center showroom floor. When we said that we did like the car, he quickly engaged several other staff and cleared the showroom and pulled the vehicle out so that we could drive it. We loved the car but had little time that day and had to leave. Robert did not pressure us but only asked a few basic questions so we could communicate if we felt interested later on. Over the next few days we asked several detailed questions about the car which were promptly answered by Robert. He communicated Elk Mtn's best price along with a total out the door cost and followed with a very accurate monthly payment estimate after offering to help us with financing. We ended up purchasing the vehicle and all costs were as described by Robert. There were NO SURPRISES ! We got great service from the finance manager Chris Hamlin who was also very knowledgeable about the car we purchased. Been shopping at EMM for 12 years and each time I visit I am very pleased. Would not hesitate to tell anyone in the market to go there for a VW or Audi. Joel the owner is a super nice guy

I bought an A4 from Elk Mountain in 2003. For ten years and 140,000 miles I've taken the car to them for service almost every time it's been needed, and my experience has always been good. The work has been done well, in a timely manner, and they have gone out of their way to take care of me.

After reading all these reviews I figured that I would see for myself as i was in need of a new A4. I really think there are many people who don't have a lot to do except complain rather than find solutions. Had a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality vehicle.The after sale followup has been what I expect and look forward to doing business there again.

Both of these people are total inept. We bought an a7 in july and they failed to fully inspect the car and sold us the vehicle with scratches on the body and not equipped as original purchase order stated (wrong interior trim detail and no backup camera). Unfortunately paying cash and driving away left us with little recourse...lots of phone calls to them directly left unanswered and finally escalated to corporate hq where we are still awaiting final conclusions. After spending $70,0000 one would wonder how much you need to spend to get service deserved. We were planning to buy a Q5 also but now would never buy one here and not sure we'd buy another Audi at all...Lots of other beautiful cars to buy....

Obviously I am a glutton for punishment. 3 years ago I attempted to purchase a car from Elk Mountain however I met a sales person and manager that were incredibly rude and had absolutely no knowledge of the vehicles. After 2 attempts I ended up purchasing my S6 from McDonald Audi as they were extremely knowledgable and amazing to deal with. As I live only a short distance from Elk Mountain I was forced (and I mean forced) to service with a company that will NEVER call you back and perform scheduled maintenance that had already been done on my car, BY THEM i might add, even though I didn't even ask for it, then tried to make me pay for it. Then I met the owner of the dealership in Aspen where I live, Mr. Joel Towbin!! A rather arrogant human being, but a salesman nonetheless. He convinced me to buy a Q5 from his store that I was considering for my wife. We ended up ordering the car despite the fact that they attempted to sell me a used one for $3000 over MSRP and Mike Mason lied and told me the used one had options that it clearly did not have! Why didn't I run you might ask? Because I am a fool and a bit of a push over, plus Joel assured me I would be taken care of. So we ordered a Q5. When the car arrived it was not equipped anything like the car we ordered. So when I confronted Mr. Mason and showed him the printed out option list from the Audi website he accused me of saying that was not what I ordered even though the evidence was in his hand. THEN, after realizing he was caught, he tried to tell me that Audi messed up the order and that one of the 3 options that were supposed to be on the car was not orderable anymore..... ANOTHER LIE!! (I called Audi help desk and they assured me that the option has always been orderable). Like an idiot we took the car anyway that took 5 months to arrive (They only take 3 months btw). That day we were told that Mr. Towbin was out of town in Florida or something. As I tried to call Mr. Towbin since April, he has never returned my call.... surprise surprise. Then I saw him a couple of weeks ago and tried to re-introduce myself and he literally shooed me away!!! My advice: STAY AWAY! These people are liars and cheaters!! Mr. Mason and Mr. Towbin I have one word for you.... KARMA

My experience with Elk Mountain was absolutely unbelieveable compared to past experiences with other dealerships around the country. Mike Mason and Mr. Nostrom were friendly and willing to aid me in every aspect of the purchase of my new Audi and they answered all of my questions prior to my purchase and I no longer dread looking for my next vehicle, since I would now never buy another vehicle except from Elk Mountain. Since my purchase, Jay in service has kept up the high level of customer service and experience level. I am greeted like family everytime I walk into the dealership and would highly recommend Elk Mountain Motors to anyone needing a car or service.
