I just bought a new Ford Explorer 2017 last week from Autonation Ford St.Petersburg, Florida. John Reese was my salesman and he did a fantastic job. It was really nice chatting with him. The whole process of purchase took me almost 5 hours because of my finance issue. But John and Mark, our financing guy were so patient. It made me feel very comfortable to do business with them. This was definitely my best experience ever purchasing a new vehicle. And I want to appreciate them again. My husband and I would like to commend Mario Aguirre for selling us the 2016 Ford Escape. He is very patient and friendly. It makes buying a car easy. We are lucky to have him as our sales person.We also would like to commend Bobby Rickling, the mechanic who does all repairs of our vehicles at this ford facility. Bobby was the one who had been encouraging us to buy an Escape and to buy it from this facility. Bobby follows us up regularly and has high regards for ford vehicles. He did his best to convince us to buy an Escape from this facility. We are hoping that management will acknowledge and award both Mario and Bobby for jobs well done.The only thing I wasn't very satisfied was the price of the vehicle. I could not get it at the price I want in spite of talking to the general manager, John.

Art my salesman went the extra mile for me. My lease was about to go over 36K with 18 months left. I struggled weeks trying to come up with a solution that would work. I just turned in my lease on a Ford Edge SE and decided to lease another one. This one's a Ford Edge SEL and it's beautiful. Eric helped me from the beginning with the phone call I made saying I'd be in to look at the Edges to being right there as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, to helping me out with the paperwork, to finalizing everything and out the door. Eric was with me every step of the way and showed extreme professionalism and expertise. Eric knew what I was looking for and had it ready for me when I arrived. I am thrilled with my new car and love driving it. The entire process could not have gone as smoothly as it did without Eric. I really appreciate all he did for me. We took our Escape in for a routine oil change and left without one We waited for almost 15 minutes for Patti the advisor. She told us our car would be ready in an hour. Okay. So after more than than hour we returned to the service department to see if our car was ready. First we went to the cashier, she was quite rude because I could see that we were interrupting her while she stirred her drink. She made no attempt to find our advisor for us. When we did find our advisor, she told us our car needed over $700.00 worth of work. When we told her we would think out it, she went out the door to tell the tech. The tech returned and told us no work had been done on our car, but he could quickly slap out an oil change in 10 minutes. I said no just bring me my car. I later called Patti to make sure that my car did not need $700 worth of work. Which it did not because they had mixed up my car with another car. However, Patti never called us to tell us that. Then about an hour later the service manager called. His first words to me were, I understand you want to vent. I told him I did not understand why he was calling just to give me some faux apology and things would not change. This was the third time we had terrible service with AutoNation. The advisors never answer their phones or return your calls. Nobody seems to know what is going on and they certainly, do not work as a team. It will be a long time before I wold consider returning to AutoNation St. Petersburg.

I took my Ford Focus here and when I pulled up Jennipher came out right away to welcome me. She asked what the vehicle was doing and she immediately knew what the problem was. She made sure she got me a ride from their driver Shelby and kept me updated throughout. My vehicle was done extremely quick as well. About a year ago I traded in my 2012 Mazda CX-9 for a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport. I cannot say enough about how much I love my new Explorer. While my sales process wasn't the greatest, I did still ended up going with the dealership and my experience with the service department has made sticking with the dealership worth it. So far I've only to have routine maintenance done on my car, but every time I'm there I"m always treated with respect and get A+ service. Everyone is very friendly and makes sure that all of my needs are handled in one visit. I do recommend this dealership to friends and family often.

I traded my Escape in for a Ford Flex because of the way the service department treats me. The staff there is super nice and makes sure my vehicles are in the best shape possible. My vehicle had more than 100k on it and the service person told me the cost to repair my vehicle far outwayed the value. After researching I found that was actually the case. I went down the next week and bought my Flex.

I left my truck at 9:30 AM for an oil change, upgrade on software, and checkout of backup camera. I finally picked the truck up at 6:45 PM after numerous calls. Truck never got oil change, software never got updated, and they made the backup camera worse. If I had no warranty, I'd go somewhere else definitely.

AutoNation Ford in St. Petersburg has gained a lifetime customer. In 2005 I purchased an F250 through them and remember that the staff was great back then. Well when it came time for a new truck I thought what the heck I will give AutoNation Ford another try. I did the internet thing entering my wish list and no kidding, my phone rang before I crossed the room. At first I figured it would be one of those (well we don't have what you are looking for But... calls ). Nope I am so happy Roger Pine made that call. They not only had exactly the 2016 F350 I was looking for but at a remarkable price. Roger Pine and the entire staff are easy to work with and actually make the process enjoyable. Defiantly have a customer for Life.

Absolutely horrible customer service after the sale. We recently purchased a 2016 Explorer from them. Upon receipt of the vehicle and final walk-around, I noticed a paint defect that came from the factory. They agreed to have painted and we dropped it back off three days later. It took a week to fix the paint, which is understandable. Upon picking the vehicle back up we noticed that the drivers side windshield column had a gouge in it that was not there when we dropped it off. Again, they said they would take care of it reluctantly. Mind you, we live almost an hour from the delearship so it's not very convenient to just drop it off. They agree to pick the Explorer up from my wife at her job, fix it and return it. Once again, walking around the vehicle upon delivery there was more damage that was not there previously. The drivers side tail light has four scratches in it!! They refuse to replace the tail light. We are very meticulous about our vehicles and inspect them daily. My wife and I know that it was not there when they took possession of her car. I will never deal with them again.

After a family member bought an almost 40k SUV from there, after the dealership picked it up to repair pre-existing damage before purchase, upon inspection of that repair, they noticed damage to the tail-light, which the company is refusing to fix/replace. Instead of keeping a customer happy, by taking care of damage THEY CAUSED, on a brand new vehicle, that cost a LOT of $$$, they would rather tell them sorry can't help you than salvage a long term relationship. Absolutely unacceptable. I have dealt with Bill Currie over issues, and they have went above and beyond to resolve. DO NOT SHOP HERE EVER. If the GM has a change of heart, I will alter my comment/review.

My two year old Edge had a dead battery. I did not have an appt but took it in on a Sat. They fit me in and within a couple hours had replaced my battery. I did however pay for a "battery service" which I dont think was needed as they had to replace the entire battery anyway. My service rep insisted the battery cables needed to be cleaned etc regardless of the new battery they installed.

Let's talk about the service department... My truck has been in 5 times over the past 3 weeks and for some reason they can't get it right. The people are nice enough but I am now afraid to drive my truck as they have even gone as far as to not bolt items back on! Timeline is below if you care to know: * Brought the truck in because the transmission was slipping. They claimed they fixed it. * Brought the truck back as the transmission was still slipping. They claimed they couldn't feel it. Told me I had to come in and show them which I did and it slipped. Then, almost magically they found a bulletin about this issue and fixed it. I picked the truck up *Driving my daughter to school I hear a sound coming from under the truck that sounded not good to my untrained ear. I take it back. * They call me to tell me it is a catalytic converter but I am lucky its under warranty!??? * They call me to tell me it wasn't the catalytic converter... They forgot to bolt pieces back on!! * I go to pick it up and the porter actually gives me the car with a check engine light on??!! * I was late to a meeting so I took the car but called them at the same time. * I bring the truck back and they claim it was a magic key cycle that broke the O2 sensor and it just so happened on the 4th time I picked my car up from them!They still have my car and the general manager has assured me his crack team of mechanics will make my car run great again. I explained to him I wouldn't trust his guys to fix my daughters radio flyer. THEY FORGOT TO BOLT A PIECE OF MY CAR ON. Needless to say, I will never trust my vehicle and the sad part is am just about to pay it off! The people are nice but they have ruined a great truck that had no problems until 72k miles and I am sure it will be done for in 10k.

After struggling with Sirius personnel since Jan7th to get my free 3month trial installed, I finally took my 2015 Ford Fusion into AutoNation Ford on Tuesday Jan 26th. Their electronics tech, Brian, quickly determined that a new part was needed for the module and this was immediately ordered from New York, with delivery promised for the following Thursday, Jan 28th. I was asked to bring the vehicle back in on Friday Jan 29th and an appointment was set up for 10.00AM that morning. I elected to wait while the part was being installed and upon completion Brian was kind enough to go over some of the various commands and options available on the program. I am more than satisfied with the service provided by AutoNation and wish I had taken the vehicle in earlier, rather than wasting my time trying to communicate wth the Sirius individuals located in the Phillipines!!

This review is just on the service department based off my experiences with them through last year up until now. Ill be writing on what you can expect to encounter during a normal visit. First, dont bother making an appointment. Youll be wasting your time. Your vehicle wont be serviced anywhere near that time. Your best bet will be to get there first thing in the morning for a chance to have your car serviced that day. Otherwise, your Customer Care Advisor will be glad to refer you to their on location rental car service, Hertz and rent yourself a car for $30/day. (*side note. If you really push the issue, you can usually get them to cover the cost for a rental for a day or however long past the original time they told you your car would be ready by, so thats nice) They also have a customer courtesy shuttle but if you dont mind waiting over an hour for a ride then thats an option. Also, plan on them keeping your car for an average of 2 to 3 days regardless of how small the job may be. This is why making an appointment is useless, your advisor will tell you that the mechanic had to work on other jobs instead. Second, dont bother trying to call or emailing your advisor, chances are, you won't reach them. you wont hear back and youll grow frustrated by wasting your time. You can leave a voicemail but they wont return your calls. Just wait for him/her to contact you when they eventually get around to it. Third and most importantly, ALWAYS check the work of the mechanic when you pick up your car before driving off. Chances are that theyll forget to bolt things back on, or better yet, youll have a completely new issue with your car than when you dropped it off (but theyll blame it on the age of vehicle). That leads me to the last point. Fourth, avoid bringing your car here all together because when there is a new issue with your car when you pick it up (there will be, just face it) They will deny it to every length possible. If youre dealing with Mike Ownbey, hes very cool, courteous, and polite when you speak with him one of one. Once hes around his boss, Dan, expect all of that to change. He will apologize for the mistakes of the mechanics in one moment but defend them when his boss is around. Youll be left in complete disbelief of what youre witnessing. If the manager gets involved, Dan, dont expect things to get any better. He will make the most ridiculous attempts to justify why your vehicle is damaged that make no sense, but will offer some sort of deal to rectify the issue they caused by selling you some over priced part. If you counter with any sort of logic, hell immediately tell the advisor to close the account and send you on your way. So youll end up leaving with a vehicle in worse condition that you dropped it off in. That covers all in all a typical experience with the guys at the service department at Autonation Ford St. Petersburg. Good luck!!

I have batteries I purchased from another Ford authorized dealership in Tampa. I am currently across the bay in Pinellas County and the batteries seem to be shot. They have a 3 year free replacement - prorated after that up to 100 months. I called this dealership and asked for Service, explaining my situation. The (very) rude woman who answered there informed me they were only open until 3 pm and not taking any new appointments. I told her I wanted to check into just bringing the batteries in and changing them out. She flipped me over to Parts. I talked to the guy there and asked if there was any way they could look on their records (I would presume Ford has an integrated system - that certainly appears to not be the case) and check and he VERY rudely told me no. I just hung up on him and thought of going in and seeing the general manager or owner since I am the person with a vehicle on Christmas Eve that will not crank over what appears to be failed batteries but thought better of it. People like that should not have jobs and deserve to be fired. Ridiculous!

I scheduled an appointment to fix a broken windshield washer hose, giving the service scheduler my make, year and model of my brand new F250. On the morning of my appointment I checked-in for my scheduled appointment and clearly restating the exact problem (a broken windshield washer hose), I sat for 1 hour until a technician returned to tell me I had a broken washer hose which would have to be ordered. I express my disappointment that it took an hour to restate the problem. I was informed that it took so long because I did not have an appointment; and that they were not a parts wholesaler. If the service personel choose not to listen to the vehicle owner and cannot coordinate with their scheduler, I cannot think they are competent to handle even simple repairs without wasting my time and money. I will order the part on-line and repair it myself. I will also be looking for another dealership for warrant work

Bought my vehicle here and it was a decent experience. Purchased the VIP oil and tire rotation package with the vehicle. Even recommend a friend, who bought his vehicle there. With no thanks from auto Nation. Have had my car serviced 3 times now and, even with an appointment, have waited over 2 hours. Sadly this is even coming in early in the morning to beat the rush of the day. This day I waited over 20 minutes just for a service person to come and even talk to me. After finally coming to do a walk around before my vehicle goes in for service I inform them I have purchased the VIP service and if I am able to get 10-30 oil instead of 5-20. I'm told it's not covered, which is fine. After checking and waiting 15 minutes I'm approached and told that my VIP service, which I bought and paid money for. YES, PAID FOR SERVICES IN ADVANCE is no longer valid and that I would be charged. Well can't argue it now so I proceed with service. This is now the 3rd time out of 4, FOUR, and all four services that I've had issues with this VIP service. So, needless to say after 2 hours of waiting the service rep comes up says I'm ready, I check out, pay...no reported issues. Except the check engine light not that they didn't even mention... Come to find out that they don't even put the requested oil 10-30 (since I was paying now) in the car! Get to my car and it still covered in all of the garbage from the service too.. NOT PLEASED, NOT HAPPY and VERY DISSATISFIED with Auto Nation. I'm one of those people that hold out hope and say to myself "maybe it was just this time". Not here. It's been EVERY time. I used to mechanic and change oil. Over 4 years of it and never, ever did it take more then 2 hours to do a minimum, bare, basic oil chance. Nothing else included and still get the oil wrong let alone leave me the client responsible for cleaning out the mess after. Not saying service couldn't be good, but I've never experienced it.

Check in went smoothly. After that it was all down hill. Brought my 2014 Fusion in for routine maintenance (update gps and tire rotation) Arrived at 8:15 AM. At 10:15 and after watching several other customers come and go I checked to see how things were progressing. I checked with Jim Kubislak . To make a long story short he forgot to tell my assigned service adviser, Lymari Martinez I was even there.. I was told Sync update normally takes 45-60 min.. I finally left dealer over 3 hours later.When I got home I checked to see if tires had been rotated (I marked the rims) and they hadn't been.I called dealer and talked to service mgr and he offered to rotate the tires right away if I brought the car back.. Thanks but no thanks. Never go to a dealer for routine maintenance. The only time i"ll ever go back (reluctantly) is for warranty service

We bought a 2013 used car today from AutoNation Ford. The experience was first class. The entire process included meeting with the pleasant Sales Person, the Used Car Manager and his Manager along the way. They were all professional, down to earth, interested in providing great service to us throughout the initial meeting, the test drive, negotiations and delivery. Let's face it, the negotiations are probably one of the worst parts of the car buying experience, right? Well, our negotiations amounted to a series of conversations including a few phone calls. There were no confusing sales tactics or pressure. Just interest in discussing things to make it work. They took the time to get to know us a little and offered other solutions to make sure we were making the best decision for our needs. At the end of this we agreed on a price that I had suggested, so that tells you something right there. There was no pressure, like the reputation that a lot of dealerships have. This was very much appreciated. These folks treated us with the utmost of professional respect, which is a reflection of the entire dealership starting at the top of the organization, where this positive tone gets set and works its way down throughout the entire organization. This whole process started Thursday night and the deal was finalized Saturday morning. When we arrived to pick up the car they had it washed and tanked with gas, much to our delight. They even gave us a short tour and introduced us to a few key people, like the Service Department Manager who told us what to do when we bring it back after 5000 miles to get its free oil change.I would whole heartedly recommend Auto Nation Ford to my family, riends and you based on our very positive experience.

Be careful with theses guys in St. Petersburg, Florida. They automatically add $800.00 for two options outside of the dealer invoice, if you don't catch this it will be added. The general manager called me to ask how the buyer process went and when I inquired about these options he said it was Autonations policy to include them to the initial invoice. Dealers are independent busineses from Ford Corporate so they can get away with this. He finally asked me if I was going to buy a car from them and when I said no, he hung up on me. I am a Ford retiree and will make sure everyone I meet knows about their business practices.

Have always owned Fords. On 3rd Explorer and my husband is on 3rd Mustang. Needless to say we are Ford people. Needed an oil change...did not have appointment. Attendant (Brian) said, "no problem, we will get you in and out as soon as possible". They also did an inspection check and found all tires were low. 40 minutes I am out and on my way home. Always prompt and courteous service. That is why I am a Ford customer for life.

It was overall a great experience. I did not have an appointment to have the car serviced but was taken immediately. The service attendant was quick and attentive. My car was serviced and I was in and out within the hour they had promised. I have used this dealership for several years. This is the second car I have purchased at this particular FORD DEALER. When I phoned the dealership and asked about a used car with my specifications the manager was a good listener and found a car to meet them. The buying experience itself was fine. The wheels had to be repainted, and as soon as I washed the car, after taking possession, the rear wheel was still stained and spotted. I called the sales rep and he told me there might be either a way for me to buy some wheels from the dealer at an advantaged price, or there may be some wheels on the property I could somehow getfor my car. Then when i followed up it went silent and I could not get a return call. The rest is up to you, john geanes

After finding a car that I was genuinely interested in, my husband and I met with sales rep Cory today at Auto Nation St Pete, he showed us the car, talked us through the details of it, and sat down to look at the numbers with us. He took my Honda CRV to his Manager to get a trade-in value for me, who promptly came back and asked me what I owe on it. I said, "I'm not telling that, I want my car given a trade-in value, regardless of what I owe". He told me an average amount, nothing based on my cars value, and argued with me about it. He told me he didn't want to waste his time doing work if the numbers weren't going to work. Really, like I don't know if I tell him what I owe, he'll come back and offer me slightly more than that. I'm not stupid, and I know the value of my car, I can look it up just like he can, and I did... I was raised in dealerships. I finally got him to admit the amount he was quoting me really meant nothing. What a waste of my time. I would have bought the car, if he had just done his job and valued my car, I'm not going to do it for him!

For the last few years I have noticed that most businesses do not really care about the service they give. From buying a refrigerator to flashlight to toothbrush it is frustration to the point of giving up, how they do not really pay attention to what they are doing. You get the wrong part, the service never materialized, they forgot, the contact person does not know their job. But when my wife and I needed to get a new car for her so I could get my truck back to drive, FORD Autonation made everything about the process so easy. The staff were smart about their job, who does what, how to get things done, good phone manners, and genuine concern. It was a breath of fresh air in the stink of customer service nowdays in most places I visit here in St. Petersburg. Submitted an internet inquiry for a CPO Ford Escape and Anthony Peyinghaus responded almost immediately with the requested information. Although the vehicle in the initial inquiry was not to our liking, Anthony continued the watch and let us know about an Escape that became available. It had all the attributes we were looking for. We met with Anthony the next day (it was like we had known him for years) and went for a test drive. Perfect until we encountered a problem with the engine. This problem and any other concerns we had were immediately dealt with to our satisfaction. Negotiations went smoothly. We agreed on a price but took a day to think about it before proceeding. We contacted Anthony to finalize the deal and again all went smoothly. We were also impressed with the experienced, courteous and professional service of finance director Hope McCarthy. She was willing to go the extra mile getting answers about our new tag. We are very happy with our CPO 2011 Ford Escape! My experience was everthing one should expect from a competent auto dealership. That, plus even though my father-in-law is retired from GM, we decided to go with a new Ford this time due to GM accepting bail out money during the financial crisis. We haven't owned a Ford since 1990 and I for one and glad to be back in the Blue Oval family. I rated all services and the total buying experience as excellent. The new Ford Flex we purchased is, quite frankly, stunning. From the style to the powertrain, it is the complete package.

You know how you hate to go to a dealer and have to be there for hours? Well, someone actually talked to me most of the time I was there and we had a good time..right Paula? The time flew by and everyone was nice. Chris knew his cars and answered all my questions. I really feel he was being very honest with me..no crooked car dealers here. I wasn't there for long either. The facility is clean and the staff friendly. When I was sitting there, four people stopped and asked if there was anything they could help me with. When it comes to buying a vehicle, new or used, I suggest going to this dealership, before wasting your time at other places. As a first time car buyer, being only 21 years old, many dealerships treated me like a kid and didn't take me seriously, They gave me the run-around, just to say they tried to help me. AutoWay, on the other hand, not only welcomed me as a customer but helped in any way they could. I not only felt like a respected customer, but more of a friend. They treat you, almost, like family at this dealership. I had setup an appointment to come look at a certain car, the fourth one i looked at, and not only was the car pulled up to the front waiting for me, the moment I walked in the door, Paula was standing there with the keys in hand. Not only were they more than welcoming, but they also helped with finding financing, warranties, etc. Now here is the big part that makes me suggest this dealership, over any that I have visited myself, or with others. I had bought a used car, "As-Is". Feeling very confident in my purchase, I had no worries. Unfortunately, after a couple days, the transmission started having problems, and the clutch went out. Frustrated, but aware that it was in my duty to fix the car myself, I called the dealership and informed them of the situation. Not only did they respond in a concerned manner, they assisted me in transportation and repairs on the vehicle. Paula Johnson could not have been more accommodating. They accepted the car as their problem and had their master mechanic fix the issue, FREE OF CHARGE. Replacing everything that had an issue. I am more than happy with my experience with the crew at AutoWay Ford, St. Pete. Not only did I receive over the top customer service, but they treated me like family. Thanks again, Paula!

I bought a used car from the outlet center which has alot of great deals. I was looking for a quality used car with low miles that wasn't used and abused. The dealership had a few cars that met my criteria a few that I thought were a bit expensive but I ended up deciding on one that I really liked and ended up purchasing. This was my first purchase and the process seemed to take a long time( I have been car shopping with friends and relatives before) I felt as though once I made my decision and was ready to purchase they figured they could take their time with me. I was there for a total of a bout 4 hours not including a 15 minute test drive. I will say that it is a good dealership and I would recommend buying from here. All in all everything worked out and I am enjoying my car and i am glad I went to Autoway

At Autoway Ford I wound up with Dan Wendling, who was knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me find the right vehicle at the right price. I gave him several specific tasks for followup, including some pretty rigid requirements with regard to communication and price - and he followed them to a "t". I was able to negotiate a price I thought was fair, they prepped the vehicle in a timely fashion, and the paperwork/finance part was as painless as I've ever experienced in over 40 years of purchasing automobiles.My hat is off to the entire sales crew at AutoWay Ford in St. Petersburg, and especially to Dan Wendling. Bought A used Mustang convt. from the show room, after buying the car I took the car home and found that the window seals on driverside window did not seal properly and the cd player didn't work. Also they tried to cover up the fact that the vehicle was smoked in by changing out the cigarette lighter inside the car. When I went back in the next day to talk to them about these issues they told me the vehicle was sold as is. Jackson told me that they sell three types of vehicles, new-used-as is. Now never before this time was I ever told of this being the policy. Since they have a three day money back guarantee and they didn't want to lose the sale they had the cd player fixed and Jackson was able to get Kevin to fix the window for cost, plus the cost to re-tint the window since the entire window ended up needing to be replaced. Jackson also gave me a rental car for a few days while the car was fixed. Everytime I called over a 5 day period to find out the status of my car Kevin would tell me something else and then say he didn't say what he told me. I've now called 3 times since this time trying to get Kevin to order me a window seal because fixing the window was actually not the problem, and have yet to hear back from him. Just a heads up their dealer fee is $700 which will be tacked on to your purchase and you pay additional tax on this fee. Other dealers in the area have fees that are about $200-$300 less. I had previously bought cars from Walker Ford and would recommend using them before ever going back to autoway. Especially for service issues!

The employees I worked with were fast and efficient. I saw the vehicle I wanted on a Monday and I drove it off the lot on Tuesday. They were extremely fast paced and very accommodating. I would recommend not only the dealership but the staff members that I personally worked with to anyone who is in the market to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle.

We are new to the area and was interested in trading so, we took a chance in stopping in at this dealership since it was closer to our home and it was a Ford dealership. Our previous car was Ford Fusion 2008 and we were in the market for a Ford escape or something close to that style. EVERYONE here is so friendly. They ALL care about you and want you happy before you leave. I told them I did not have a way home because I was dropped off by a co-worker. They let me take home the car I was considering for the night. I did not like this car, so I exchanged it for a different one. We rated Autoway Ford GREAT because they went out of their way to find us a Ford Mustang GT convertible, and then worked to find the best financing. Todd and Hope came back a couple of times with a lower interest rate. Because of the lower rate we were able to get extended warranty, theft protection, maintenance and GAP. They also stayed late to finalize the paperwork. When the car arrived the next day, the service dept went over it with a fine tooth comb. It looks brand new and runs like a dream. We could not be any happier with our purchase and interaction with everyone at Autoway Ford. We will be lifelong customers with Autoway Ford. We have recommended Autoway to all our friends. My family and I were on vacation in Treasure Island when our recently purchased used vehicle from a dealership in Indianapolis (where we live) decided it's transmission did not want to continue working. We were on a weeks vacation, stuck with a slowly dying vehicle. Our crappy warranty company would not allow us to work with the dealership and after calling around, we discovered that the cost to fix (rebuild) the transmission in that vehicle would cost between $2500 and $6000 ... which we didn't have and would have taken most likely at least two days to fix .. which we did not have. It was the beginning of the July 4th weekend (2011) and there were no vacancies in the general area. My husband had taken the vehicle to Autoway to have some diagnostic testing done. After hooking it up to chassis ears, the dealership determined that the horrible squealing noise was come from the transmission. It started on Monday and got worse. On Wednesday we could hear it inside the vehicle with the windows up and over our voices. Our only option was to trade it in. Sean and Todd worked with us to get us into a situation that we were comfortable with and we drove out of the dealership's lot with a new to us car.Sean, Todd and Jackson (finance guy) were AWESOME to work with. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would consider making the drive to buy from them when we're ready to purchase our next vehicle.Five stars across the board. Fantastic.

Todd what a pleasant guy. I could feel his energy/enthusiasm about the product and company. Mario is my kind of sales person. Not pushy, but helpful,patient and thorough. What a gem. Scott super he seemed to genuinely care about me and my situation. He patiently explained my situation and not once made me feel inferior! Finance - Casey was great! He was patient, kind, and explained everything. He did not rush me to just sign papers like so many in the past. Other positive feedback: I love the way the showroom and the offices were in the open. Everyone was there. No hiding behind curtains and playing back and forth with the manager on pricing. Todd was up front and honest. My credit is not A+ and I believe Todd went to bat with Ford Motor Credit to get me the deal. Bottom line... the are doing something right at Autoway Ford St. Petersburg. It is not about Autoway. It is about Autoway Ford of St. Petersburg!Oh and I had to take the car back the next day (Sunday) because my computer screen went dead. Dorian in service was awesome and Barry in sales stepped up to get me a loaner car when the rental place was closed. What a team!Thank you all for the wonderful experience.

I purchased a used car from this dealerhsip last night and this is the second car i have purchased from them... WHY? because they are fabulous! The most friendly and efficient group of people that I have ever worked with. I was actually greated in the parking lot by an employee that I had not met, who knew my name and who I was there to see. I did not feel pressured into buying a car. I felt like they we honest with me and were not there just to make the sale. They really cared about my saftey and listened to my needs and expectations and were able to meet them. The sales persons were very friendly and thorough, and delivered great service. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me, and did not pressure me in any way; on the contrary, they wanted me to take my time and explore all options, to make me feel comfortable. Tim and Grisel were very accomodating and honest. They answered all of my questions and explained every detail. The small dent was removed from the vehicle at no charge, and the technician did a fantastic job--you cannot tell it was ever there! Sam was also an asset with the Vet Buy program, as he gave me a lot of good information and support.
