We went to the Honda dearlership in Fremont after visiting several other dealerships in the area, so we knew our price point for a new CR-V. Sami Asmatullah greeted us at the door and pretty much gave us what we wanted with minimal negotiation and tricks to sell us extra features/packages we didn't want, like at the other dealerships. Their records said that they only had our second color choice, but when we drove around the lot we actually found our first color choice; lucky us! This was definitely one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I've ever had. Sami was very friendly and personable. I would come back here to work with Sami in the future.

Great buying experience working with Fred (Farhad). Helped that I had done by research in advance and knew pretty much what I wanted. Fred made the purchase smooth. Didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't want/need. The only thing I disliked, and which Fred had no control over, was the long time I spent waiting to get into the finance department to sign the papers and make the payment. Once inside though, that part took less than 10 minutes. Sitting/waiting area in lobby could be a little nicer, but it gets the job done. Otherwise a great experience.

I am a first time car buyer and was really afraid of the " sleasly salesman". A good friend of mine told me buying a car from here was going to be a lot different. I had been shopping around and dealership after dealership each one giving me a hard time ( I think because I am a young woman that doesn't appear to have enough money to buy a new car) . I had almost given up hope, until I went to AutoNation Honda Fremont. I walked in to meet with a nice man named Truc. He treated me like a human (more like a friend) and not a paycheck. He talked options with me that would better suit my budget and my lifestyle and really helped me with the price of the car. I had a lot of questions because this was my fist adult perchance and instead of taking advantage of that he helped me so much! I would highly recommend that anyone buy a car from him. He didn't rush me or pressure me, I felt like the ball was in my court at all times. Now flash forward to financial services, I met with another man by the name of Henry who was equally as helpful! I did not think it was possible in the car buying business. He was able to work out a great deal with me and still get me everything I wanted/needed coverage wise. I feel safer driving my car thanks to him giving me all the extra coverage on my car at such an affordable rate. He walked me through all the things I was signing and answered all the millions of questions I had without rushing me. He told me a story of when he was a young man and was buying his first new car and all the dealerships he went to didn't take him seriously, and how he would never do the same to someone else if ever put in that position. Well, I can say he is defiantly a man of his word because now he is in that position and took care of me wonderfully. I will recommend to a friend and will always buy my cars from here. Thank you!!

Had the car I wanted. Had a reasonable price, at first. Of course everyone was very positive and courteous and seemed helpful. Had free coffee, tea during the long waits for someone to help, (though water and sodas you had to buy for yourself out of a machine - why not provide those to customers also, since the buying process seems to take hours?) Finance drove the price back up with unnecessary additional warranties and protectant features, however. Finance leaned on me for several hours until I bought the additional warranties. Quite a bit of glossing over on the paperwork, not explained all that well. Features of the car not explained, Once they get the money you are kind of left on your own to figure it all out. When I asked specific questions I was told the answer was in the paperwork. That I find very aggravating. If I ask a question I need an answer, not to be told to spend hours myself trying to find it myself in a stack of papers they just handed me - when someone who knows or should know the answer is standing in front of me.While waiting for finance to help us, the salesman told me the car was being detailed, but it was delivered dusty and untouched; same as when we first looked at it. In fact, it was left out on the lot and another couple was all inside it looking at it when we went to drive it away after closing.This is why I avoid buying cars. Being all super-friendly then turning around and wearing me down with hours of pressure and paperwork, lying to me about what services you are providing, makes me not want to ever come back. Stop these practices and I would come back much more often.

Walked in and spoke to Truc Tran - I just wanted to see cars to get an idea of what I was looking for close up. Was interested in a Honda Civic - Truc showed me some cars and I was ready to leave and call it a day. The Honda Civic was what I wanted. Where do I even begin with the accolades? One of my best friends, who had recently purchased a Honda Civic from Autonation Honda of Fremont, referred me to Benny Echols. Benny was transparent, kind and down to earth without any of the sleazy shadiness or phoniness most commonly attributed to car salesmen. Ali was the salesman, he was horrible, very rude. He didnt fit that job. We went for a test drive and he told my husband to step on the gas because he had another customer waiting for him. He didn't explain any features of the car, instead he said to hurry up. What kind of salesman was that? He needs to be gone.

We were looking for 2015 Civic EX of a certain colour when the 2016 models were already had arrived. We live in Fremont and were on our way to a dealership 25 miles away but we decided to drop in at AN-Fremont Honda. We were met by a very helpful Mr. Kent Branner, who found just the car we wanted for us. It was not at Fremont. SO he himself went to Berkeley and brought it to us and it turned out to be the exact car ( and in fact more ) that we wanted. He saved us a lot of travel time that day. While the car was on the way he took us on a test drive, explained the features of it and took us through the entire purchase process.Because of everything he did, effectively, we found exactly the car we wanted at a dealership in our own city, without having to drive any further. It was a pleasant happy experience.

My overall experience with AutoNation Honda Fremont was great!!! Kent provided great customer service as soon as my friend and I arrived at the dealership. Even though I wasn?t able to purchase the car that I initially had in mind, a 2013 red Honda Accord, which Kent had first located for me and was very difficult to find since red is basically a rare color, he was able to find and had offered the PERFECT car for me instead. Now, I am a proud owner of a brand new 2015 black Honda Accord. In addition to great service, Kent had also offered me a great price. Alan, the Financial Services Manager, was such a great help because he offered me great prices for the warranty and services for my car. My friend and I were very comfortable talking to him because he had a very pleasant attitude and was such a great help since it is my first time purchasing a car on my own. Probably one of the easiest car transactions ever. My wife and I purchased a Honda Odyssey Elite for the family. We didnt really know much about the car but that was no problem, the salesperson that helped us (Najib) was extremely knowledgeable and wicked friendly. he took the time to explain all the options to us, not being pushy or sales-like at all. He was there to inform us and allow us to make the best decision for our family and budget. After the sale, I received several correspondences from Najib asking us about the car, what he can do to help, and if there was anything else i needed. Turns out we needed all weather mats and roof racks, and within minutes I was scheduled for service appointment. The sales manager Tamim Aziz was also extremely helpful and accommodating, he went out of his was to get me the best rates and the best deal on this car. I am a big fan of honda, this would be my second new honda purchase, and you better believe I know where to go for my third new purchase. thanks a million.

The financial advisor definitely seemed to be annoyed from a long day at work. he looked overworked and stressed out. But it's ok. I really don't like going car shopping but when I got to the Honda dealer we were met by Kent. He really made it easy and made my wife happy with his wanting to make her feel comfortable. We had a choice of 2 cars and the first one we started my wife wasn't really happy with the way is sounded so he went to get the keys for the next one and that is the one we decided to get. We went inside and Kent was busy with some other customers that came back to see him so we were introduced to Benny (the better looking salesman) in his words. We did the numbers and weren't really happy with them so he went to get see if they would lower the price and came back with something we could work with. Along with going back and forth on the price there was a lot of humor going between us which made the whole car buying experience nice. If your in the market for a car do yourself a favor and go and see them. Ask for Kent or Benny. You won't be sorry.They are at Honda in Fremont.

I seriously never thought I would rate a used car buying experience 5 stars! We had such a great experience buying a used Toyota Sienna from salesman Shames Nasiri. We drove 4 hours to the Bay Area to go car shopping so the transaction started with a call regarding the car we were interested in before we left. Shames wasn't working on the day we made the drive, but he came in to show us the car. He was not a typical pushy salesman which was a big plus. We looked at 4 cars at various lots in the Bay Area and when we decided we would buy this one, Shames met us back at the dealership to close the deal. The car was priced right (a bit low even) and the closing process was really easy. Since we had to drive home that evening, Shames detailed the car himself to avoid the long wait with the detailing department. When we were heading out, he met us with our new car and the car we arrived in at the gas station and filled up both of our cars with the AutoNation gas card. On our long drive home, the check engine light came on. That was obviously alarming, but it was nice knowing that we had a 60 day warranty with the used car purchase. We took it into our local Toyota dealer to have it diagnosed the next day. It turns out it was nothing, but the bill was $190. We called AutoNation Honda Fremont and they gladly took care of it for us and sent us the reimbursement. Thank you again Shames and AutoNation Honda Fremont!

Very professional.I was looking for a nice honda that would save me on gas, I was interested in the CRZ but it was automatic transmission. After test driving it I knew I wanted a manual transmission. I recently purchased a used 2009 Honda Civic hybrid for my son. I was a little concerned about a hybrid because of hearing about problems that people have had with the battery pack but because the vehicle had a 10 year/150K mile warranty on the battery pack I felt a little more at ease. Our sales associate Kevin Vossen and his manager Alan Fernandez were both professional and after some negotiations we agreed on a price that although not as low as I would have liked seemed fair. They did agree to repair a few dents at their cost, but not all the dents.I was disappointed that they only provided 1 working key. I would have hoped it would be standard policy to provide at least 2 keys even though it was a used car. I did eventually decide to buy a 2nd key and they agreed to do the remote programming for free. In order to get the dents repaired we returned on Thursday as that was when the in house dent specialists was available, but they were unable to do the work and it was sent out to a body repair shop. Our service advisor Devron Gepalaga was able to get the work completed by Saturday event though we were not expecting it to be completed till the following midweek. Overall It was a reasonably happy experience even though that is not always the case in purchasing a new or used vehicle.

I purchased a used truck from Autonation Fremont. The actual purchase process was very positive. Alan Fernandes was a fair and capable salesman. As part of the deal, the dealer replaced the wheels and tires on my truck. This is where the experience deterioriated. Despite dropping the truck off (with an appointment) at 8am with a 4pm pick up, delivery was late by over an hour while I waited because they did not plan on the right lug nuts (reason given me for the delay). Upon completion the service manager tried to charge me over 13% in sales tax on the wheels/tires. His explanation was because the agreed price did not cover all his costs so he was going to charge me sales tax on the higher amount. It took ten minutes of discussion, his writing me up for the higher amount and my refusal to pay the extra sales tax than allowed by law to receive the correct invoice (this after waiting more than an hour for the truck). Unfortunately while the start was great, the service experience will insure I will avoid Autonation Toyota in the future.

The purchase process was easy.. No pressure. I went through Costco car purchase so got a decent deal. Ali was helpful. I had purchase additional services and required the car to be taken in. Had 1 day car rental but that was pickup and return on same day. That was a problem for me and I contacted Ali, who addressed it immediately. The rental was a problem though as I got a tiny car and had problem getting my car seat in. No other option - it was a good thing I didn't need it for long.

Starting from service department calling me for scheduling appointment and until the work was done, I had a good experience. Service representative Rodney Juarez provided a very good service and everything was done very fast. He also helped to get the shuttle service for drop and called promptly when the car was ready for pickup. Also when I went to pickup my car, all paperwork everything was ready and finished with no time. Rodney also gave recommendation on timing belt change and the next major service. Upon making our selection, the rest of the process and paper work took about 3 hours. While prices for new vehicles are generally quite similar we did pay about a thousand dollars less at AutoNation.

Since I bought my Pilot about 10+ years ago, I've been bring my car here for maintenance service. I like about them is that they keep providing excellent customer service. I've been working with Daniel Heinz for past few years and every time he gives me a very knowledgeable advise about my car. He is very honest about what I really need to fix and what I can wait. He is very friendly to talk and work with and been very helpful. They keep all my maintenance records. Many friends comments to me about why you bring your car to dealers to have car service. They have an impression that car dealers usually charge higher than outside car shops. However, I don't feel that way. They do not charge fortune but using the original Honda auto parts. I already recommend few friends to this car dealer to have their car maintain and they are very happy with them as well.

I absolutely abhor the typical car-buying process. So I was jaded from the get-go. What was amazing was that I never felt pressured or disrespected! Najib was honest, friendly, and professional. First let me say, as general rule I hate used car salesmen almost more than going to the dentist. That being said, I sent several e-mails to various dealerships regarding used cars available online. Michael Pugh was the only salesman to respond. He was very attentive, asked for specifics of what we we looking for and set up an appointment. Michael had several cars in mind for us and took the time to discuss how each one would match our needs. He was not pushy at all, he did not rush us to make a decision. When we finally made our decision we went to fill out the paperwork and he realized that we would get a better deal if we looked at a new car. With a first time buyer purchase discount and recent college graduate discount we were able to get a 2014 Honda Civic at a better interest rate and with a better warranty than a used car. Ahmed worked with us on the financing piece and again was informative but not pushy. We ended up not leaving the dealership until way after closing and they were nothing but helpful. This experience was so not a typical used car sales experience. I would highly recommend AutoNation Honda because they will receive great customer service, feel welcomed not just as a commission maker and get the best deal to meet their needs.

The customer service here was awesome. I had already made an appointment to purchase my car from another dealership, but at the last second I received an email from the GM of this dealership and he was able to beat my lowest quoted price by $150! The entire purchasing process was smooth and fast. Michael Pugh took care of me from the second I walked into the dealership. He was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, and not pushy at all. It was an overall pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone. They are completely professional and seem to actually care about the buyer's happiness. Before I drove the car off the lot, I noticed a few minor scratches on the interior trim and voiced my displeasure to Michael. The next day he emailed me to bring my car back into the dealership to replace the flawed piece with a brand new piece. I was very happy that his customer service and it does feel like he constantly kept going out of his way to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I was at the dealership for an oil change and noticed a new 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid sitting on the lot. Out of curiosity, I though I would take a look. I had a minute or so by myself to look over the vehicle and first impression was an average of 47 mpg in a large size vehicle. Wow!!! The sales person came out, his name was Sami. He was great, I told him I was just looking. He told that was fine and that if I was interested or even just wanted to test drive it would be no problem. So I took up the offer for a test drive and I fell in love with the car. We currently owned a 2013 Honda Accord Sport and in my opinion this Hybrid blew it out of the water.it felt so much more comfortable and had much more power without sacrfice of the mpg. So we sat down to discuss the price and 20 minutes later we were done. It did take a little bit of time to clean the car but it was immaculate when they were finished. I was actually done signing the docs before the car was ready. The staff here was very friendly, welcoming, and they were straightforward. This was a great no hassle car puchase. Purchased a 2013 Crosstour last weekend. The sales staff was excellent and gave us a fair price for our trade in and price for the new car. Overall buying process was a couple if hours from start to finish (test drive, finance, etc). I am pleased with my new Honda Accord 2014 which I purchased at AutoNation Honda at Fremont. When my other car was stolen at Fremont Toyota Dealership last December 22, 2013, I've decided not to buy any car from that dealership because of the way they treated me after my car was stolen from that place. My Insurer mentioned to call AutoNation Honda. They will help me find the Honda Car I like. I did just that & I called that morning on January 20, 2014 (holiday) & went to the dealership that afternoon to pick up my new car. I gave AutoNation the specs of the Honda Accord I like, exterior & interior color of the car & when I got there, the car was ready for a test drive. Came back to the dealership, signed some papers & drove home with my new car. Alan Fernandez the concierge at AutoNation Honda at Fremont, who helped me most of the time, showed me how to use the gadgets in the car. I was impressed with the new car's interior, very elegant. Julio Chi Hou, a salesperson, was very polite, thorough, and helpful to me when I was there buying a used car. The finance manager David Y (?) was also very nice. My MDX lease was up. I took it back to Honda in Fremont to trade in for the Odyssey over Thanksgiving weekend. I was referred by a friend to Sophia. She is one of the internet sales at the dealership. I was in and out in about 2 hours. She handles everything for me without having to ask much of anything other than the color options I can choose from. I ended up with the EX-L. The best experience I have so far at any dealerships. I highly recommend anyone in the the market to go to Fremont Honda and ask her to help with the car purchase. I also took my MDX here for maintenance before since it's all owned by Auto Nation I think.

Became interested in purchasing a small car for commuting and the Honda Fit was on my list of vehicles to consider. This wasn't an urgent need for me--was planning to slowly look at vehicles over the coming month--though I did send some request of quotes out on the internet to get a feel. That first day I received an email from Alan Fernandez at AutoNation Honda Fremont and the price quoted for a 2013 was very attractive so I checked the vehicle out the next day. On the following day I brought my wife along too for a test drive and decided to purchase then and there as the price was right on for our budget. So shortly after the test drive we finished the paper work and drove off with a new vehicle. The experience and process was very easy and straight-forward, and Alan was quite responsive to our needs and questions. I appreciated the straight-forward, no hassle process and the ease we left AutoNation with a new vehicle.

We went I looking to compare several cars. The staff were every friendly and helpful. We were able to drive all if the models that we wanted to compare. The staff were very patient as we took quite a while conferring about which car to buy. The staff were also pleasant and did not use any pressure type of sales. Overall a very excellent experience.

Service department manager highly unprofessional. Came her to have my car serviced and was treated very nicely by The service writer. While I was waiting for my car to be finished in wondered out by the shop to see if had been started on yet. Around this time some guy comes storming through the shop getting in peoples faces yelling and cursing at them. Something to do with a few work stations were dirty and cluttered. I asked a mechanic who he was and was told he is Phil the service manager. I'm very unhappy to see that's how he treats his employees, no human being should be talked to the way he did. I will not be returning or be recommending anyone to bring there vehicle here till a professional manager is hired.

I bought a Honda Civic EX-L with navigation from Auto Nation Fremont. I did the preliminary work to find the best car and a dealer that is suitable. Finally, I have decided to go through Costco Auto program through which I found this car dealer. I got an appointment for the Test drive; when I arrived there the response was so quick and welcomed us warmly by Sandra. She is very responsive and so kind. She took time to explain patiently and gave all the details about Civic and its accessories. This is the first time we are buying a brand new car and we didn't have more knowledge about the accessories. Sandra is very impressive and she gave an idea about what is what and suggested about what is essential. The next day she called and said that the car is ready for pickup. That was awesome!. She helped a lot through the process of buying this car and fixing the accessories at every stage. She is very helpful and kind. If anybody plans to buy a car I would highly recommend Autonation as a dealer and Sandra as sales person. Highly Recommended!

Efficiency and good service! I have been shopping for a new Honda Civic. I got a quote from Ali Hashemi on the internet and after a few email exchanges, we settled for the price of the car I wanted and scheduled an appointment. When I walked into the dealer, the car was already pulled out from the lot and ready for the test drive. Once I drove it and satisfied with the result, we processed the paperwork. Service was good, fast and efficient. The great part is after I purchased the car and the good service did not end there. When I had questions, I always got a quick answers from Ali.

I was more than pleased with my experience when purchasing, (Sami and Henry) and financing (Adrian) my new car here. The brand new car I chose, got some upgrades like the perma seal and the lojack and had several other items installed like the hatchback cover, the net and the seat divider. The car was easily left after hours at the site and was ready a day early! I also ordered a dash cover from Mohammed who assisted me with colors and the exact fit based on my dash configuration. Lily was efficient and quick about releasing the paperwork and the car. Add service to my Number 1 team at Fremont Honda, AutoNation. I dread thinking of ever having to have the car fixed but at least I know I am in good hands if it happens.

I am suddenly in need of a bigger vehicle to accommodate the whole family, I have looked at several dealership and AutoWest Honda at Fremont came up because of previous excellent reviews. I hate haggling for the price. I just wanted a straightforward quote without any pressures hovering around me as I have experienced in other dealership. ALI HASHEMI , the internet manager was more than accommodating. He emailed me a price quote, I showed up at his office and I was surprised that my HONDA PILOT is waiting for me. Ali gave me the key to test drive it without asking to much question. I liked the vehicle and I ended up buying it after the test drive. Overall it was an excellent experience. Ali took some time to show me how to work the gadgets inside the TOURING edition and that sealed the deal !!!

I was shopping for a new car and test drove Nissan Ultima, Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. My wife and I were blown away by the new 2013 Honda Accord. We went to Stevens Creek Honda and left with a bad taste in the mouth due to the rude customer service and a very nasty treatment. We then went to Sunnyvale Honda but did not get a color of our choice. I accidently called Danny at Fremont Honda and now, I am glad I did that . He was very cooperative and we got the color of our choice. I went in within 2 hours of the call and was treated well. I traded in our old Mazda car and drove home the new one. We also got a Gap insurance and a 7 year Honda Platinum care package from his manager Mohamed and we were satisfied with everything. Even though we knew Honda is not going to give problems, we took Honda care and also the Gap as it gives a mental relief for future. I will highly recommend Danny for anyone who is looking for a Honda experience.

My experience here was GREAT! I had Omar as a salesman and he was super cool and down to earth. Omar helped get me a great car that met my budget. He even took my old beat up 1997 chevy lumina as a trade in without an issue. I am very happy with my 2009 Kia optima ex. The finance manager David helped me out tremendously by getting me approved for a rate that was way lower then I expected. The sales manager at this deal is rude and does not care about its customers. Finance does hard sell like you are buying a timeshare. They promise partnership and sales guys pretend to care till you exit the dealership. The promote the sleazy sales stereo types. I wont be buying anymore cars here. I found Hyundai to be extraordinarily good dealership and they are in the same market as Honda. Watch out guys. You are going to get creamed if you dont care about your customers.

AutoWest Honda of Fremont sold us a used car from their inventory one year ago. Unbeknownst to us or Autowest, the car had a modification that eventually caused an erroneous airbag deployment a year later. We complained to Autowest Honda knowing we had purchased the car as is. To our surprise, their new GM took care of us beyond what we had hoped for.How many dealerships would take full responsibility for their used cars, which by virtue carry its own risk? It is nice to know that there are still honest businesses out there that care about people and not just about making money. We trust AutoWest Honda to fully take care of its customers.

Avoid at all cost. Made an appointment for a recall item on my Honda Civic. Received a call the night before the appointment as a reminder. Go to the service dept. as scheduled, and the service adviser tells me they don't have the part. WHAT?I was furious, the SA without apology says they can do the recall in a few days, but never called me to schedule of follow up.When I asked to speak to a manger, they were "busy"I just had the recall performed at South Bay Honda, and let me tell you what a difference.

Went to this Honda dealership to buy a new 2012 Honda Accord Coupe the people there are not friendly at all especially the management. Trying to make a good deal and they did not cooperate with my family whats so ever. We wanted just to buy a new car that we wanted and they just blew us off by saying you should just look into a different car, because we are not making profit by selling the car for that amount. And it was not a dramatic price drop just only a few hundred. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STOP BY TO BUY OR SEARCH OF A NEW CAR GIVING US WRONG INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER HONDA DEALERSHIPS SAYING WE ARE THE ONLY DEALERSHIP THAT HAS A 2012 HONDA ACCORD COUPE. GUESS WHAT WE BOUGHT ONE AT "CAPITAL HONDA"! WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEALERSHIP.BE VERY AWARE!

Came here for oil change, but got lecture promotion about the package service and blah blah... which obviously I don't need it until I see the result. After car is done with oil change, my car supposed to get free car wash, but instead of a clean car wash, it got a greasy car wash, all of my windows were greasy and I have no idea what kind of things they used to clean up my windows. My car was clean before and it became dirty now... SIGH... will not come back... :(

Very pathetic and unprofessional service. The guy was rude and does not know how to show basic courtesy to a customer. for example he says it will take 20 mins to take a car out for test drive. The guys talk with a rude tone and a attitude fitting a king. It felt to me and my wife as if he was doing a favor by selling or something. In fact the price he quoted was ridiculous - I bought my Accord EX-L Navi from ANOTHER dealer on the same night at 500$ lesser price. When I asked why he says he will have to fetch 2 keys to remove the car in front of the car I intend to test drive. My God - there has to be some respect for others time. These guys are useless salesman. Don't waste your time on these.

Don't ever dare buying a car from them. Want to know why? Service is terrible, the cars they sell are like a part of fraud. They will sell you a used car without doing any inspections whatsoever. Within the first week, the car needed complete transmission service , it had leaks, smelled terrible; like a burn. After taking the car to a mechanic, they told me the car had been in an accident and painted. They dealer covered it up. Then they threaten you and tell you to piss off. Finance is the worst to work with; the salespersons act like they dont know whats going on and they act unaware of all the bullshit issues with the cars. They will sell you "salvage" and lemon cars which have no records on the carfax! Always take a mechanic with you. Don't ever buy from them. Terrible!!!

30k services including fuel injection flush/decarb system on value/clear throttle body; it tatally costs me $809.And, was called later saying my rear break need to be replaced immediately, and being charged $250,So, total I spent $1059 for 30k services. Is Honda accord too expensive to maintain ? or the service department cheat me ??

My wife took her 2-year old 30K mile Honda Accord for a 30K service at Auto West Honda, the service guy hid additional services in the basic service package and jacked up the cost, we ended up paying $850+tax for the 30K service!I'd definitely avoid service dept in this dealer.

I recently bought a brand new Honda. I was going to pay the full price. But the finance department told me that I should finance the car so I could increase my credit score. I am 22 yr old. I thought that would be a good choice down the road. He then misled me about extra services. It only a month after the purchase, when the first monthly statement came, that I realized an extra $5000 had been added to the final price.

Service Contract Cheat and Fraud: AutoWest Honda FremontIn July 2003, I purchased a Honda Care service contract (7 years 100000 miles) at $795.00 from AutoWest Honda-Fremont dealership. At the time of purchase, the finance manager told me that the contract payment is 100% reimbursement if I did not use it during the period of contract. In June 2006, I noticed the contract actually was already expired on March 2005. I though it is a 7 years contract started from the time of purchase. But when I went to claim my money, Mr. Fields, the director of finance in AutoWest Honda dealership, refused my claim and said I must present him a form, which acutally they never told me the truth 3 years back. I realized the case might fall into the following:(1) Warranty disclosures in the agreement; (2) Disclaimer of warranties; (3) Unfair or deceptive trade practices;I believe it is the dealership responsibility to provide all documents to make the contract valid and legal. Do not go to this dealership, if you do not want to be cheated and laughed at your face later.

I bought a used car from the dealer. they narrated wrong claims saying that the vehicle went through 100 point inspection and is in an excellent condition. Within days of buying the vehicle, I had a rear brake drum failure and a coolent leak from the Engine Head Gasket. When I took the car to the dealer, he refused to even listen to me or help in anyway. He was impolite and uncourteous. I ended up paying additional $$$ to fix the problems in the car and wishing I would never had bought the vehicle from this dealership. Stay away from them if you want to be safe...else, Its upto your luck !!

I would highly recommend this dealership to anybody. Everyone I dealt with there was friendly and professional. I am a single woman in my 20s, and this was my first time buying a car on my own, so I was a little nervous. But there was no need to be. Everyone was so nice. I was not pressured in any way. I was made aware of my options regarding financing and warranties, but there was no pressure to use their financing or add anything extra.I got a great car for a really great price, well under Blue Book. I am pleased, and my friends and family are impressed. I would recommend this dealer to them without hesitation.
