From the minute we entered this dealership we felt relaxed and welcomed. Daniel was a wonderful salesman who did a fantastic job of addressing all concerns and thoroughly explaining the nuances of the new car to be purchased. I appreciated his candid demeanor and sincerity. Ho nice to have a low pressure salesman who allows clients the space to think and make their own decisions. I also had a very positive experience with Ray, the Finance guy, and the manager, Hector, who was quick to resolve any discrepancies. I would definitely recommend doing business with this dealership! This dealership is full of scam. They promise the customer a lucrative deal to bring in to the dealership and then racially profile customers. If it doesn't fit their profile they deny to admit if such offer was ever presented. The finance manager was extremely rude, racially profiled customer and mistreats. He said "you guys are immigrants and may not be able to get a car." They have been holding our money for 2 months and the sales associate been giving us false information that the bank approval is still pending. I left several messages and tried many time to speak to the managers but they are always in a meeting and never returned any of my calls. 2 months later when we wanted to get our deposit refunded all of a sudden the associate informed us we are now approved. And so when we went to sign the agreement for the car we found out we were approved 2 months ago and the approval was kept hidden and now it's expired. Because they were able to fool someone to pay higher price for the car while in a contract with me This is completely a scam. This dealership is completely scam, full of racial discrimination, lies and cheat. Please be aware!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN LIED TO SO MANY TIMES IN MY LIFE!I was so excited to buy my Kia Sorento back in April 2015 it had a third row, blue tooth and a backup camera things I have always wanted :) However, the minute I drove it off the lot it started giving problems. I had it precertified so I was happy I didn't have to pay to get the engine fixed, then the motor fixed because things were leaking oil but by the EIGHT visit for various and THE same problems I had enough. It went in twice for a length of about 20-30 days and this last time I brought it in was AUGUST 11, 2016 and it wasn't ready for pick up until OCTOBER 25, 2016!!! over TWO months they claimed the part they needed was on back order. I finally heard about something called the Lemon Law so I told the sales manager or whatever he is that I was going to use it because I didn't fell safe driving my two kids and one on the way in this anymore. He then did everything to try to get me not to file being so nice let me help work this out yadda yadda.WELL! I went into the Kia this past Saturday and he said look at some cars and we will work it where you can do an EVEN exchange so I was willing to look. We found a decent 2011 Ford Explorer on the lot and I was a bit disappointed because it didn't have a back up camera. Vinny the "nice" guy said "No problem, we want you to be happy! We will install it." I then said THANK YOU! and said three more times, we wont have to pay anything other than what we owe on our kia correct? We are doing an exchange. Vinny said, "absolutely, you can pick up this week and you will be all set. I will even put this warrantee on the Ford for you! " I walked out of there the happiest pregnant lady and even texted my friends and mom letting them know how much better and what decent people they were. WELL!!!! I receive a phone call Monday asking me to come in and sign some papers for the new loan since they were going to close out the other and pay off the $9,700 dollars that we owed on our kia and move that amount over to the Ford. NOPE! They got us in there and told us our payments for the Ford Explorer was going to be $245 / 76 months. I said ummm, we only pay $189 a month and have 54 months left. They said HMM, let me see what we can do then they came back out with $209 for 76 months and they would give me about $600 dollars for the payments I made while it was in the shop. After doing the calculations it was 15,700 or so dollars that they wanted us to pay for the ford explorer!!!! I said NO WAY I WANT TO SPEAK WITH VINNY! they guy said Vinny isn't here....well I called VINNY on his cell phone and he walked out from the back and DENIED everything he told me on SATURDAY!!!!! Denied it completely LIED to my husband and I and now wants us to take back the KIA that doesn't work. I am so happy that I talked to my Lawyer (uncle) and he said that we can file LEMON LAW!!!NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP! EVER!!!at!~!!!!!!!!

Excellent experience. Wayne Medina was a pleasure to deal with.... Mr. Medina was extremely knowledgeable about the car we were interested in and answered our many questions with ease. We had very specific requests for the color of the car and interior color. We also wanted certain additions. We know it was not easy for him to find the car we wanted but he kept at it and found it...! I will recommend him to friends and family if they are interested in a new car!

No courtesy, no professionalism! I came to fix one thing and they broke something else!!! Ibrought my car here due to a mistake from the call center, she booked me at the wrong place! I was told on the phone that I could wait while they did what they needed to, at the service place I was informed that they were very busy and it would take a long time. No courtesy car could be given to me; I live over 30 miles away. I was being accompanied by a family member who was supposed to go to work that day after accompanying me, but they didnt care. They saw we had another car and said that I should come back at around 4-4:30 PM. I arrived almost at 5 due to the heavy traffic, but my car still wasnt ready. When it was finally ready they didn't know where my keys were. Then they couldn't find the car. They had me going around asking for it instead of looking for it themselvesI finally get the car, turn it on, put the radio on because it had to have been shut off by them, and put into drive and I hear a repeating clicking sound from the front passenger's door. I see that it won't lock. I try to do it from my door but it doesn't work. I heard the click with the radio on, how was it that no one heard it with the radio off??? They were working on the door; don't you check your work to make sure that it's done properly? They obviously didn't! When I go back in to tell the person who was in such a hurry to take my money and who refused yo give me any discount or a courtesy car, about the problem, he tells me that he can't do anything about it because everyone left and that I needed to come back the next day! Are you kidding me?? Never again!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST, UNETHICAL, EXCUSE OF A DEALERSHIP!!!!My wife and I went there today looking to close a deal on a car. We have went to many many dealerships in our search for a car, and narrowed our search to a Kia Sorrento. We did our research on the car, and negotiated with other Kia dealerships. So at this point we were searching for the dealership that would give us the best price. We did not want to waste our time going somewhere that won't meet our specific budget, and we were not insulted when our budget wasnt metby other dealers because that's life, but we were highly insulted by this group of unethical liars who pulled a major bait and switch. When we called we spoke to 2 salespeople Greg, and Penny, and the manager Maria Flores. We were very very specific with our budget and the car we wanted, and how much we were willing to pay upfront. Our only request was please be transparent with us if you can't meet our budget, because we do not want to waste any more time visiting dealerships that will not meet our price. We are reasonable people and completely understand if someone can not make a deal with us we will walk away from the deal. The manager Maria Flores told us specifically that they can meet our price and we can come in to sign the paperwork and get the car. We live in Brooklyn and did not want to travel all the way to Long Island for no reason, so we called the next morning again and spoke to Maria to make it very clear our numbers and what was agreed upon. Further we were transparent with her and told her that we read the reviews online and you have a reputation of doing bait-and-switch on customers. So please tell us again if you will or will not be able to meet our price, her response was that was the old management we urrently do not work like that anymore and there will not be any bait and switch when you come in.So, both my wife and I's guts told us that they probably will do a bait-and-switch on us and we shouldn't waste our time however we believed Maria Flores and took the trip for close to two hours to Long Island due to very heavy rain. Once we got there all of a sudden we were met with a different salesman that we never spoke to before and Maria went into hiding in her office after initially greeting us. Then the salesman tells us that he sorry he can not meet our price. Our internal reaction was ohhhh helllll no, they are playing with the wrong customer today. So we can kindly we told him this was not what was agreed upon when we spoke to Maria so please go back and get the numbers that we agreed upon on the phone on paper. Then he came back with another story that he still can't meet our pricing and gave us a different number, and we told him we are not going to negotiate please get Maria here because we made it very clear to her what we were looking to do. After much back-and-forth with Maria, Greg and some other people, they came back with an offer which would meet our budget however with a very high upfront price that was not previously discussed. Again we did our research so we know the lingo that they would try to use to get over on us. They tried to hide the capitalization cost under the guise of taxes like we didn't know how much the taxes should be. FYI, capitalization cost is the dealership lingo of saying down payment, which we specifically told them we were not looking to make on this car. So I asked him about the up-front price that he's charging us and he tried to wiggle his way out of it and essentially I called him out on it. Then this guy had the audacity to tell us that he will give us a car that was used by the boss' wife for the price we want. Again, you must not think you're dealing with educated people, because why in the blue xxxx would I pay a lot of money for a car that is used by someone else, that I can get new at another dealership. At this point we are beyond angry, and insulted, so out of the many many dealerships we visited this was the first one that we had to raise our voice and express very loudly our displeasure with their customer service, theie lies, their dishonesty, unethical tactics and xxxxxxx ways. I read all of the reviews on Yelp which gave me my apprehensions about this place, but I thought maybe we might be the one that they don't pull their bait-and-switch tactics with Since the manager agreed to our price. My advice to you is do not ignore my review nor everyone else's review on this page. This dealership in unethical dishonest and a bunch of liars. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere to another dealership.P.S. we drove back home to Brooklyn and went to Plaza Kia where we closed the deal on a new Kia Sorrento that very same day. STAY AWAY AND RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!

I leased a 2014 Kia Sorento from this dealership for a fair price. Had all scheduled maintenance as well as warranty and non-warranty work done in their service department and found prices to be fair and reasonable at all times. Jorge the service manager is extremely customer-focused - he stayed one evening to wait for us until after 9pm because we told him we needed the vehicle the next day for a trip.Upon lease expiration I fell in love with a BMW X5 on their lot. Their sales team worked with me to return the leased Sorento and purchase the BMW. Mark Cavalcante, the general manager, in particular showed great leadership in helping me get the deal done and closed out. I would do business with them again in the future.

I checked out the Kia Sorento as a result of reading Consumer Reports' 2016 Auto Review Issue. I was greeted at the dealership by Marcel M who introduced me to the vehicle. He was knowledgeable , but not "pushy"! It was a great experience. My test drive sealed the deal. I wanted to buy this car. Three days later I brought my husband to the dealership. Although we had to wait almost an hour for Marcel to finish with another client, Marcel went through all the features of the car again for my husband with much patience and humor. We signed the deal that day (Sunday) and picked up the car on Monday.

Buying a new vehicle can be a little nerve racking, but Marcel put me at ease from the very start. Throughout the process I never felt rushed or pressured and Marcel listened to every one of my concerns. He made the dreaded process of negotiating quick and painless. I was very adamant about the color being titanium. When it almost seemed like titanium would not be available, he made a promise that he would get me something even better if I was willing to choose another color and he did just that. Marcel went above and beyond and everyway possible in order to make sure I was happy with my new car. Not only did he try calling every Kia possible and even was willing to drive 3 hours away to just to get the color I wanted. He delivered a MUCH better car then I had picked out, he really kept to his promise. He also accommodated me by staying after his work hours when he had a prior personal engagement to make sure I was able to pick up my car.Marcel is a superb sales person! He is professional, knowledgably, trustworthy, funny and a great person to deal with. The final price was exactly as negotiated and there were no last-minute surprises. He is the prime example of a good sales person. If you are looking for a new Kia I would highly recommend Marcel M.! You will not be disappointed.

The Team at KIA East Meadow is by far the best!!! I have driven Ford's all my life, and I am already on my second KIA. I live in Queens and drive to East Meadow KIA for whatever I need. I have stopped at a few other KIA locations on the way, and the experience was horrible! My recommendation to KIA Corp is to make sure they acknowledge the great work that Mark Cavalcante and his Team do over there. I have never had an issue with any department of that location. I will always be thankful to Mark Cavalcante, Josh Levin, Joseph Rossetti, and a few others for treating me like family and making every experience a great experience.You should use this location as a model to teach some of your other location's how to treat a customer. I went to Autoworld Kia to look at a 2016 Sorento to stay within a budget. I had bought a 2001 Optima from the same dealership and felt comfortable going back.Marcel greeted me, my wife, and my 18 month old son very respectfully. He was very courteous, professional, and respectable, especially toward the end when my son was crying to go home :).He was not pushy and, from the moment I walked in, was looking for the truck I wanted, and actually made me realize I shouldn't have bought options I really did not need for what I wanted a truck for (AWD in Long Island and a 3rd row seat for just 2 adults and 1 baby).He helped me narrow it down to a 2016 Sorento LX with convenience package so I could get the heated seats, touch radio, etc, and was able to meet my budget within a few dollars.When my lease is up I will be going back to him to either buy out the truck(again the buyout/finance will still be within my budget) or lease another Sorento.

I would just say for the future, the salespeople should make sure that the customer is aware that the deal presented could change up or down based on final bank credit approval.

For a very long time I was in search for a grand Cherokee jeep, looked at jeep dealerships that were over priced, and went to use car lots that got me horrible financing deals that I was not able to afford. I went to auto world Kia seeing that any credit approved. I didn't think it was possible to get me the payment with a fully loaded 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee but they did. I delt with the salesman Joe V and the finance guy Ty, that was able to get me approved same day with a great monthly payment. My wife is do for a truck because hers is getting old and they told me with making payments a little bit over what it was that I would be able to finance another vehicle from them. Honestly it's working and my credit is approving already after a few months. I would detentitly go back and highly recommend these two as a team for honesty and helping me out!

wow no pressure, josh levin sold me a used 2013 kia forte, had the patience of a saint. wife came in 6 times to ask another question, just one more question, can i ask you a question????????..would have driven most people nuts, if it was me i would have told her to leave..he handled her with expertise and we bought the 2013 forte for our daughter, have a 2014 kia soul and because josh did such a wonderful job i recommended a friend who just purchased a 2016 kia sorrento, the big one with all the bells and whistleshe loves his new sorrento. have used the service department twice , once for oil change and once to find out how to set up the blue tooth.. very professional..josh is unique as when you walk in you dont get pressured, always has a smile and i noticed with 8 other salesman sitting around most customers gravitate to him..next car in april is a kia sportage to replace a rav 4.. about the same sized vehicle, which is all i need..congrats to josh, he has a customer for life

I have my new 2015 Kia Forte almost 2 months now. While I am generally happy with the car itself, the experience of going through Auto World Kia leaves much to be desired. Based on other comments, it seems many others are left with a sour taste in their mouths after going to this dealer. The initial sales consultant, Wayne, was pleasant and knowledgeable enough, and we found some things in common. After doing a few more weeks of research and test driving, I came back, and once the discussions focused on a specific vehicle and specific numbers, I could tell Wayne was a somewhat low man on the totem pole there (I guess most sales consultants are low men anyway.) One of the main gripes I have is about an agreed upon added feature, specifically a remote start system. When that was made part of the package, we had what I thought was an agreement. It turned out that it was not the complete system that I was expecting. A feature that allows starting with your smartphone, something I assumed was standard in all systems these days, was not included. What was even more aggravating was that I was not told that from the outset, or even offered that option, although when it was installed, a card describing the feature was inserted into the system's small manual. I assumed from that that it was part of the system. No one in Service told me anything before I left the premises. When I called to find out how to connect to it, I was told it was not installed, that it was an added option (and a pricey one at that), and that I had to have a subscription to use it. These are somewhat significant details that should be given to any customer. Yet from this place, nothing. I do have one commendation for one of the Finance Managers (Scott?) who even after I signed the contract, kept looking and found a better rate (and lower payment) for me. Fair play to him.Update at 3 months: After the initial review above was posted, I was contacted by Scott Russo who left a message indicating they would take care of my issue. After several attempts to call him back, I learned he was no longer with the dealer. I asked to be contact by someone else, but 3 weeks later, no one has actually contacted me. Also, after 2+ months and only 1100 miles, I was contacted regarding a service appointment I never scheduled. I asked why via email, but was never provided a clear answer. My manual indicates first service at 7500 miles or 6 months.The internal communications within AutoWorld Kia apparently leave much to be desired.Bottom line: Kia is an up an coming car brand, but research the dealers carefully. Don't go to Auto World Kia or either of its sister dealerships in Suffolk County. You are likely to be less than satisfied.UPDATE Jan 2016: AutoWorld Kia did follow up with me and made good on the completion of the remote starter in December. The question regarding scheduled maintenance has still not been clearly answered. There really ought to be a simple web page where owners can register their new vehicles and get a customized schedule for maintenance milestones, by time and/or mileage. This is something that exists with most other car manufacturers and dealers.Thanks.

Price of car was good but the only thing that made this visit bad is they had a fake carfax,it took them 3 days to get me one,I guess that's how long it took them to photo shop the vin number on to another car dealerships carfax SMH,Thankgod I never brought the car,they said it had one owner it really had 4,And who knows how many miles it really had ??????????? I met Wayne Medina when we entered the Autoworld showroom. I told him as a current Sorento owner, I wanted to see and test drive the 2016 model to make sure I wanted to buy another Sorento. He was extremely knowledgable about the new model and while we were out test driving the car, showed us most of the new features and how they worked. We got to talking and he said he was new to the car sales business, which surprised me because he seemed to really know his stuff. He was not pushy and was an earnest guy. After a week, we had done our homework looking at other cars, and came back to Wayne at Autoworld to purchase the car. He was easy to deal with and helped us make a deal we were comfortable with. I highly recommend Autoworld and have to say it was a pleasure to work with Wayne. And I love my new Sorento!

I had an extremely dishonest experience with the East Meadow Service Department. After diagnosing that my car needed a new battery, I was quoted a price of $179.95. When asked why a battery replacement was so expensive I was told "Copper is very expensive and they are putting more copper in batteries." I agreed to have the work done. When I picked up the car I was charged $119.95 for a battery, $59.95 for labor and $9.95 for disposal fee (179.95). I happened to notice an advertised price on their menu for $129.95 for a replacement battery after I paid. I was told that I was getting a "discount" and only being charged $119.00 for the battery, not the $129.95. The service technician failed to mention that the $129.95 price included all and there should not have been an added labor and disposal fee. I was blatantly deceived by the employee. The Service Manager Jorge refunded my card the next day and apologized. I emailed the Dealer Principal, Joseph Catalanotto, The GM, Anthony Cavalcante, and The GSM Mark Cavalcante and haven't heard a word back.

My husband I dealt with Marcel, who made this shopping experience very comfortable. He knew his stuff and was willing to work with us. We walked in and told Marcel this is our situation and if you can help us great, if not, then that's fine too, but please don't try to be pushy because we just left other dealerships because the salesman were too aggressive and came off like they didn't care about what was in our best interest (meaning financially) and was only thinking about themselves and making that sale. Marcel was the complete opposite, he was very professional, welcoming, and took that extra step to reasonably negotiate and suit our financial needs. We also dealt with Tyrone in finance, who also explained everything from A-Z to us in laymen terms. Very nice and thorough. We went in, and after much discussion and back and forth to the finance manager, we couldn't agree on a deal. My husband and I disussed our finances, and agreed we could come up a little more from where we were at originally. So the next day, we go in, which happened to be the last day of the month, and we sit and talk with the guy, who I will keep nameless because he was actually a great guy, and he remembers the deal he gave us. He goes to the finance manager, and comes back and says, "I'm really sorry, I don't blame you if you walk out, but my manager said we aren't making our monthly goal anyway, so he doesn't want to make a deal with you". Isn't a sale a sale? I'm so confused by this. But I will never recommend the dealer to anyone solely because of how selfish the finance manager was. I'm just truly confused.

I bought a new car last week and had a great experience. With the car they included a few things including something that needed to be installed by the service department. Yet the service department has no time to install it. I was not told I needed an appointment to have this done, so I stop there and they tell me they are too busy. My salesman tries to get someone to install for me but I told them it's no problem, I would stop by tomorrow. I get a phone number to call and a time. The next day I call the number provided and it is a disconnected number. Then I call the dealer and get connected through the receptionist. The girl says no they are short staffed and still have three cars that haven't come in yet to work on. I remind her that she told me to come in today and she got very nasty and told me no, I came in yesterday without an appointment and she was going to be nice and try to squeeze me in (also why she did not give me an appointment yesterday). So she asks if I can come in tomorrow but the only appointment she has is for 1:30 in the afternoon. My question is why would you give an incentive if you are not equipped to actually provide it? It is no longer an incentive when I have to spend multiple days trying to arrange this to be installed and the staff is rude about the whole process.

Had a wonderful experience purchasing my KIA Sportage from this dealership. Specifically chose this dealer driving by one day and seeing the large selection and from the kindness I received from Jorge, the service manager, when I ran over a plastic bag driving another car I owned. He didn't know me at all and I had no appointment, but came out to see what the problem was. No worries. The puchasing experience was seamless, with no pressure. I got the best service here, Honestly felt so at home and there was NO pressure at all either. i now own a 2012 Kia Rio and it is the best thing ever. Adam Tepfer and Tyrone hudson were by the far the best i have ever seen. They worked with my needs and budget and helped me get the most appropriate car for me. I basically made two friends and i know if i ever have a problem they'll be there to help out. Definitely recommend this to anyone. Kia is the best and its like a giant family. I would like to start of by saying Ken hemenway is a true asset to the company his knowledge of not only the KIA product but of other brands is bar none I did not buy my first visit but after researching other brands to my amazement Ken stayed all facts of why KIA stand above the competition but the amazing party is the name he approached not demoralizing other brands but almost daring me to compare... His skills and tactics are one of a kind and he has in my eyes reinvented the salesman persona. The while step of the way he made sure we were taken care of and even on delivery made me inspect my vehicle to make sure it was what I approved. I have been buying cars for many many years however this experience stand out from the rest.... Great job young man you have earned a life long customer as well as all my friends and family..... To those that read this you MUST ask for Ken. Thank you so much to all of you I did not mention from the management and second to none in the fateful "finance dungeon" Ty you also have changed my opinion in regards to finance.

Adam was very helpful in finding a SUV that was fit for me. He was very knowledgable and fun and easy to work with. I spotted a car from across the lot that I immediately liked and we test drove the car right away. Within a short amount of time we went through pricing/ monthly payments and I could have driven the car home the next day but since this was my first purchase I went to get my own insurance the next morning, then went back to pick up the car. Adam scheduled my my first service appointment for me and showed me where to bring the car. He had it serviced, detailed, put in new mats and windshield wipers, and filled up the tank of gas for me.Ty was very helpful in explaining all the financing, which was important to me as a first time car buyer. I was put on a good payment plan- nothing for the first 90 days and only 5.84% interest. I was in and out of there quickly but did not rush and left very satisfied!I am very happy with my car and it was a good experience! Adam is the first desk on the right when you walk in- go see him!

From gathering information (with Garrett, a customer service specialist,) to actually coming in to look at, and eventually purchase a Kia, the entire experience was fantastic. In researching online, we were approached by several dealerships. Garrett, from Autoworld stood out from the rest though. He offered information, interacted with me, but on a personal level. On this particular day, we just intended to come in, test drive and gather some more information. We were directed to Mike H. (who, may I add, IS the bomb diggity,) and who not only made the whole process go smoothly, but went beyond what we expected. He answered all our questions, was extremely professional, and yet, comfortable, not "car dealer" awkward. He helped us find (and actually went to get) exactly what we were looking for. Marcel is best car salesmen I have ever encountered. I was looking for a car for a long time and really didn't have Kia as a top choice. I actually went into Kia Auto World on a whim just for a test drive, however after meeting with Marcel and him educating me about the car no other cars that I looked at quite measured up in terms of style, options and value to the Kia Optima. I know I was most likely one of the most annoying and challenging customers however Marcel and Kendrick never lost patience with me. Marcel and Ty made the experience of shopping for a car a pleasurable one. I was not looking forward to the process, yet with the assistance of Marcel, who is friendly and knowledgeable, I selected the car I wanted in a very short period of time. When it was time to do the financing, Ty proved to be equally as knowledgeable and patient as we completed the well-prepared in advance paperwork to be signed. The perks are great including free car mats and car washes and I even received an email with an appointment to get my new car serviced (with another free car wash) in 5 months!! He took his time and found me a use/new car for me. In my budget and most important the car that felt right. You know what I am talking about. If you ever bought a car, you acquire that feeling when you get behind the wheel and its feels like its the car that you always wanted. Thats what I got, Kia Soul 2013 and with very low mileage. The finance manager Richard, was as usually very helpful and got me the best loan from the bank possible. A year later I still strong believer that Kia line offers the best value and one of the best crash standards on the market today. I am very happy with the car and most important with the service that I received. Its always nice to expect good services due to the last experience, but to get great one is very rare. Strongly recommend this dealership to everyone and anyone who is in the market to get a new or a used car.

I bought a lovely pre-owned Sportage. Unfortunately, when I began using it for my long commute to work, I found I wasnt completely comfortable in the seat. My previous car had power seats but I never thought it was a necessity. However, in this stage of my life (50+), it turns out that I really do need a power seat.I brought home the car on a Tuesday night and called Ty, Autoworld Kias financial manager (and wizard!), on Thursday night in tears. He was frank with me that he was not sure what he would be able to do, but that he would try his best to get me into a different vehicle. It was not an easy process. I had already received my new registration and numerous calls had to be made to Albany to try to interrupt the title issuance process and secure other permissions. Ty doesnt know I know this, but my salesman, David, told me that Ty was working on my problem on his day off. Now that is a serious commitment to customer service! I took a Sorento home as a loaner while the work continued. By Monday morning, Ty had successfully worked it out! I became the proud owner of the loaner Sorento, a beautiful LX with power seats! My original trade-in and downpayment were still applicable to the new contract which I consider myself so, so lucky that Ty worked that out for me. People who I tell this story to are amazed. They never heard of a dealer going out of their way like this to make a customer happy. I never thought I would be the person requiring special treatment! But when I did, Im so glad I was at Autoworld Kia where they worked so hard to give me the special treatment that I needed in the situation. I will be forever grateful!

I am a nervous car buyer! David, the salesman we worked with, is a man of infinite patience and kindness who encourages long test drives to be sure you are happy. He also doesn't mind repeating the features of the car if you tend to forget them 10 minutes later! Ty, in finance, is also a kind person and genuinely wants to help. We needed to hit a certain monthly payment and he worked with us to structure a payment that we could afford. I can't say enough about these guys! My husband has a Kia also and I'm sure we'll be back for more! :)

So josh and i talk and came to a sulution and at the time i was working and my boss became sick so i lost the job but between the 3 month spand of finding work josh always krpt in contact to check up on me see jow things were . Then the 2nd time i went to kia was when josh and ty spoke to the banks and got me approved! For someyhing to me thats so overwelming josh broke it all down to me so the over welming went away .. to be comepletly honest josh is the best salesmen kia has to offer and i could have been more happy and astound about the service josh even bought me 2 soda cans lol hes a great man and i give him a 5 ***** if i can give him a 10 he gets a 11 . In January 2014 a few months before my lease on a 2011 Sportage SX was up I met and was upgraded to a 2014 Sorento EX tech pkg by a young salesman named Marcel Mumlym. I chose to try Autoworld Kia since they were closer to my new home than the previous dealer I got the 2011 at (Giuffre Kia) but also I felt I the previous dealer was shady in my dealings with them and tried to back load me with extra costs and fees making me feel like a fair deal went into a not so good deal. At Autoworld I felt Marcel did his best to get me a fair deal on an upgraded vehicle and I walked out no where near as stressed as I did in 2011 at the previous dealer. Since my fiancee and I were considering picking up a second car, yesterday ( 11-4-14) I went back to Autoworld Kia and luckily Marcel was still there. He remembered my name even without looking at any paperwork from 10 months earlier which I thought was impressive. He helped me go through the motions of pricing out a new Kia Soul vs. some of the pre-owned certified ones they had on the lot. I settled on a 2011 Soul ( which had extremely low mileage ) and we did the deal. Once again Marcel was extremely professional and did the best he could to make a fair deal and once again I walked out feeling I got a fair shake, which for anyone buying a car nowadays is the exception and not the norm from what I have heard and experienced for myself. I would certainly recommend going to Autoworld Kia if you are looking for a very good new or pre-owned vehicle and see Marcel. As a side not - the service department there is very good as well. I have been there for regular and unscheduled maintenance and they have always done a great job.

I had been debating for a while on which car to buy (as I had been driving jaloopys my whole life) and found a particular interest in the KIA Optima. I chose AutoWorld KIA for a few reasons, (1) they were close to my house, (2) their rep Ashley Crawley did an exceptional job reaching out to me via email in regard to my initial requested online quote, and (3) their Columbus Day Sale drew me in. Mike Halliday was my salesman and he was AWESOME!!!! I did not walk into the dealership with aspirations of procuring a car, but Mike sold me! He helped me weigh my options between financing vs. leasing. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the KIA Optima. I went into this dealership and wanted to purchase a new car. I was not happy with the offer I was given and ultimately purchased my 2015 Kia Optima EX elsewhere. Before this, I would bring my Kia Spectra EX to this dealership for all my service so I already had a relationship with this dealership. Long story short, the manager, Steve reached out to me and even though I did not buy my new car here, they still wanted to keep me as a customer and offered me a service package. I will bring my car here for service and maybe next time, who knows, get offered a deal so great that I would also purchase a car here.

This was my first time going to a dealership and looking for a vehicle for myself. Having gone with friends before, I was a little nervous as to how my experience was going to be. The car I was currently driving was getting old, so I decided to start looking into some options and a more reliable vehicle. My experience at Autowork Kia went above and beyond my expectations. Everyone was very welcoming when I walked into the dealership. The first gentleman I spoke with was in the middle of making a delivery so he introduced me to Danny, who helped me the rest of the way. I initially came in just looking to get some information about the Kia Sorento. I have heard great things about Kia and after doing some searching online I decided this was the type of vehicle I was interested in. I explained my situation to Danny and told him what I was looking for. We discussed different vehicles then took the Sorento for a test drive. I instantly fell in love with it. After Danny answered all of my questions, went above and beyond explaining everything to me, I told him I still needed to discuss this over with my father. He was very understanding and worked with me to make sure I wouldn't have to go through all the financing when I came back in. Two days later I went in to pick up my brand new Sorento! That day Danny also helped me set my up insurance since this was the first time I had done this on my own. The entire process and experience was just great. I would highly recommend Autoworld Kia and Danny Zibulsky in sales. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience!

I was out of professional work for 3 years. My family had been hit by cancer, divorce, hurricane sandy... you name it... all within a couple of years. My credit took a dive. I decided to pivot careers from marketing and communications to medical (for obvious reasons). I was living in Brooklyn working out of my temporary home from the internet. I didn't need a car then, but, I wasn't going anywhere anyway. I am a registered EMT on the wait list with FDNY. It could take years before I am called for FDNY. I started applying to other jobs. This process also took years since employers look at your credit and I was limited by how far I could travel. I finally got a great job in medical. The catch - I needed a car to get there. I had owned a Nissan in the past. I like handling of their cars. I'm the kind of woman that likes to drive. I like sporty cars. I was looking at the Juke because I liked the compact size of this mini crossover and the way the torque vectoring felt in the test drive. In the past, I bought my Nissan outright, because I had money like that at one point. One day, I was driving my Nissan Altima to work in Brooklyn when I looked up to see a green light, and looked down to see a white van in the middle of the intersection. I T-barred it and the airbags went off. Nissan has a high safety rating, and I was driving a Nissan when the safety features saved my life, so naturally, I went back to Legacy Nissan. But when I went back to Nissan this time, I had to go back 3 times. I spent over 28 hours of sitting in their show room, and I STILL didn't have a car. Nissan was a very different company when I didn't make a lot of money. They didn't 'work' for me. I was looking for a car that could go the distance, a car that could keep me happy and going over the 6 years I was going to take paying it off. I didn't want to feel like I was compromising with this purchase. I was already in debt. I didn't want to get further in debt for a car I wasn't happy with. Nissan kept encouraging me to lower my expectations. The best they could do was a 2013 Nissan Versa Sedan with manual roll-down windows at monthly payment I could not afford. I thought this Nissan versa was my only option with bad credit. So, I left a $500 deposit. They called me to tell me I wasn't approved, and that it was my fault since my credit was poor. That's when I did more research. I talked to my insurance guy Sam from Liberty Mutual. I had to call him because I had to cancel the insurance I already had on the Nissan I didn't get despite Nissan's promises. Liberty Mutual is a great insurance company. They gave me insurance rates around $150 when every other company like Gieco and Progressive were quoting me $659. 15mins my butt... Liberty Mutual and 'Brad' are my insurance people all the way. Sam said he was sorry Nissan did not work out, and said he had been in my shoes before too. Sam recommended Kia without reservation, saying they should be able to help me. My problem was, I hadn't thought much of Kia. The name sounds like a brand of Children's toys and their bubbly designs just re-inforces that cheap plastic impression I had of their product. In my mind, I had attached a stigma to Kia, that having to buy from Kia, represented that I hit rock bottom. But I trusted my insurance company, so I took Sam's advice and finally decided to buckle and reach out to Kia. I found that I couldn't have been more wrong about my thoughts about Kia and their cars. Kia is the underdog you want to win at the superbowl. They came out the gate fighting for my business. They just wanted to win me, and for me to win, so badly. And they looked like they had fun working for me too. It was the least stressful experience I have ever had making a big purchase. I reluctantly asked a couple of questions to Kia's online chat. They weren't pushy. They were knowledgeable and respectful of my space. An hour later, I received a phone call from Ashley. She was happy and sincere, and excited that I was interested in buying a car, but more interested in finding out about what was going on that I didn't have a car yet, even though I needed one for the past month. I told Ashley my situation with Nissan, and how I got my new job. Her reply was "Ooooooh. You need TY." Ashley asked me if I could come in for an appointment to do some test drives. I reluctantly said yes and we set a time for later that evening. I called Ashley because I had to move up the time of my appointment. She said it was not a problem... and it wasn't. I got to Kia and I was seen right away. Ashley introduced me to Ty who said he was expecting me. I started to go over my situation with him, and Ty insisted on me telling him what I want first. I told him I wanted a Crossover that was fun to drive, between 2009 and 2013, NO accidents on the CarFax, 1 previous driver, and it had to be in black. I test drove a 2011 Black Kia Soul with 32,000 miles on it. I was SHOCKED at how much car you get for the money with Kia. Because of their underdog reputation, they are committed to proving everyone wrong. I got power windows, a car with no scratches, MP3 player, lots of head room (I am 5'9" and have a large dog)...they even have a 9.8 safety rating.... everything about this car was exactly what I was looking for. Even the handling was super fun. Ty was a fast talker. Sometimes he talked over me and at first, I thought "this guy is cocky as xxxx." But that's not a car salesman, that's just Ty. And Ty has a right to be a little cocky haha. He is a master at his craft and knows exactly how to get someone with credit like mine, into the car they want. I had no idea how hard he had to work until I looked at all the paperwork, and until I received all the rejection letters in the mail from other banks regarding my car loan. I realized at the end of my experience, Ty was working from his experience and his personal business network, which was extensive. He loves what he does, he works fast, and knows what to do to get you in the car you want. Ty worked for me, he advocated for me with the banks, and as soon as I made my low deposit 2 days after our first meeting, I threw my dog in my new car and took a ride to Brooklyn to hang with friends for the holiday weekend. Kia and Ty specifically gave me my freedom back. They did it without pressuring me. They listened to me, and at times, I just had to trust them as the experts and go with the process, and it was worth it. Kia was with me when I was down and out. As a result, they will be the car company I go to for the rest of my life. Sorry, Nissan. At any moment, any person can be up or down in the game of life, and there is more to a person (or a brand) than what people say. Kia understands this. My mom was so happy for me, that she's going to make Kia her next car too. (She currently drives a Toyota Solara). Right now she has her eye on a white Kia Optima. haha. Ken Heminway was great to deal with and even delivered the car to my house after work...Talk about going above and beyond. This was our first experience buying a foreign car. From the moment we entered Autoworld Kia in East Meadow till we left, we found our experience very pleasant and professional. Although our salesman, Greg Herbst was new, he approached us with both friendliness, professionalism and assurance.. We had just begun our search and were not sure what we wanted. Greg very patiently spent time listening to our needs including who would be mostly using the car, how much driving we would be doing , the size that would be most beneficial for us as well as the extras that we required. We decided on a 2015 Kia Sorento. He showed us the car and thoroughly described all of its features; most importantly safety and its incredible warranty . Greg, my husband and I went for a test drive and we were sold. Our search was over! Greg knew we were in love with the car and on a budget. Along with Steve, the assistant manager and Ty in Finance we were able to come to acceptable terms. originally leased an Optima from auto world KIA in jan 2014. GOT an amazing deal however i realized the car was to small for my needs. With 2 children, strollers and extra bags to carry around i found myself in desperate need of a bigger car I called & spoke to ASHLEY and she immediately set me up with an appt for the next morning. I really thought when i came in with my 7 month old car they would laugh at me and say "you're stuck with it" BUT instead i was taken care of by JOSH and had my heart set on getting rid of my OPTIMA and leaving with a SORENTOAND THATS EXACTLY WHAT I DID. The dealership is a joke, one finance mngr lied to me about the price of an auto start, second mngrdid not take the time to tell me about the dealership rushed me out .. picked up the car the prep people rushed the car out, stickers still on the wheels plastic still on the seat belts wheel locks still in the glove box. If it wasn,t for my salesman Adam I would have walked away and left the car. I have bought almost 20 new cars in my life time Autoworld Kia is the worst dealership I ever dealt with.. Adam was the only reason I still bought the car...I still dont know how long my warranty is for or if I get any services for free....

picked up a new kia sorrento sx and had a great experience with help from Steve and Sean...Having run the gamut of dealer tricksters you will be VERY SURPRISED that you can get a straight deal with excellent prices from these guys. The entire nature of getting a new car is off putting to most people....these guys try very hard to overcome any and all obstacles, fortunatly with great success. These guys put together a an out of state deal with very little trouble. I would highly recommend this dealership they refuse to let any obstacles stand in the way of making YOU HAPPY !! Wish I had run into them sooner I would of gotten another car from them. I spoke with a sales person on the phone and described the car I was looking for. They said they had the car and emailed me a description. After several attempts because the emails were going to SPAM, I finally received the description. I called made an appointment for 2 days later to test drive the car. When I arrived at the appointment time the sales person was off that day. I waited around for 1/2 hour until they found an available sales person. He had no information on the care we walked around the parking lot looking for the car. Then he drove use to another parking lot across the street and we still could not find the car. They had no idea what cars were available for sale and wasted my wife and my time for 2 hours. The wanted to go back to the office an start searching the internet for the car I was looking for but I decided to leave and not waste any more time at the dealership.

Well i am a female who went looking for a car and i met Josh, mind you i wouldnt really talk to Josh cause i was already dealing with Sam via email and didnt want him to lose out on the sale! josh patiently waited & one i met sam & sam explained that he handles the internet and that Josh would be helping me from that point on. Oh. Josh understood where i was coming from and said no worries. he proceeded to show me a car he thought i would like and was asking me what exactly i was looking for and he listened. i left with a gently used kia sportage & happy as a clam.so if you want to buy/lease a car without the headache or being pressured-go see Joshi know from my experience i will be back and i recommend him highly!tell josh -Fran sent you!

Do NOT go to this Dealership, I got my $500 deposit 3 weeks later. They also ran my credit through many banks, lowering my score 29 points. Its been almost a month and i am still getting letters from banks, that I have never heard of, denying me a lone. If you want a Kia, i recommend Karp, my Husband and I got a better deal and everyone there is very honest.

Walked in to lease a Kia Optima, was greeted by Sean B. Walked around looking at cars, test drove the Premium EX, loved it. Sat down to talk numbers and gave him all my info for my trade in etc. He walked over to management and came back to state that the 410$ per month offer was approved and I was good to go. I called insurance and set up the new car on it (Geico, they charged my account and took the money out). He told me everything was all set and I signed the paperwork and they started to get the car prepped. After 20 minutes of sitting and waiting happy as can be, Sean came over and said there was a "Small Problem," and that I was in fact not approved. I was enraged. They then made me wait (keeping the keys to my "trade in" hostage by the way) for about 45 minutes before telling me i would only be approved for a lease of a lesser vehicle for 550 a month. I said this was ridiculous and they then proceeded to argue with my girlfriend when she asked nicely if there was anything they could do in my price range. Seeing as how they charged my credit card for the 200 dollar deposit on my "new car," I had to then get a receipt for a refund and also call Geico back to give me my money back and cancel the insurance on the car I didn't actually buy. Oh, and the whole time Sean was on his phone on instagram and charging his E-Cigarette non-chalantly walking around the dealership doing nothing. They also were acting like they were doing me a favor giving me the price they gave me without giving me any discount whatsoever. Bizarre, enraging, outrageous, experience to say the very least. Never, ever, ever go to this dealership - you will leave disappointed and ripped off.

Went into dealership and was helped by a salesman who gave me a fair car price. Spoke with finance and was able to get a contract written up which was explained to me COMPLETELY WRONG! Everything I questioned on the contract was given some sort of explanation that was misleading and I ended up signing for ***$10,000*** more than what the price I was told was. Not only that but the finance person also told me I was required to spend $2500 on an extended warranty which I was later told that was a LIE. Every time I went to the dealership or called to have this enormous fraudulent contract corrected I was ignored or put on hold or hung up on. I have tried everything and now I am stuck PAYING DOUBLE for a car that is worth 16,000. Very unhappy and would never recommend going here since they do not know how to follow up or correct their mistakes and until then I will continue to warn every single person I come across.

I recently had a bad experience at another dealership, so coming to Kia I was a bit leery. Dimitri was out on the lot when I pulled up so he was the one who helped us. I was going to shop around at other dealerships, but I was sort of set on the Kia Soul as it provided what I needed in a smaller car than I was currently driving. I wound up leasing the base model of a 2014 Kia Soul and I couldn't be happier. Dimitri was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable. He answered every single question my mother and I threw at him without hesitation. I had heard about Autoworld Kia through neighbors. When I arrived, I was immediately met by Danny, who was first and foremost professional & friendly. I told him what I was looking for and he was immediately receptive, keeping within my price range & specific needs. He was extremely informative, and what impressed me most was his diligence to work with me, not work around me. There was absolutely zero pressure from the moment I stepped on the lot. The entire staff at Auto World Kia was friendly, constantly checking in or assisting me if needed. I never felt unattended or forgotten. Danny went above and beyond to assist me, making the experience priceless. I drove off the lot a month ago with my Kia Forte, and since then I am still treated with the utmost attention if I call in with a question, or show up to get something as little as touch up paint. I can't say enough about Mike & Josh. They made my experience smooth and efficient. Having a newborn - that's what I needed. I was able to make the deal over the phone with Mike and he set me up with Josh to finish the transaction. I was able to come in, 1,2,3 complete all the paperwork and be out of there in less than an hour. I knew the car I was getting was located in another dealership close to 2 hours away. So Josh himself drove the 2 hours to pickup my new car, and delivered it right to my driveway the next night. I was blown away. It started with Mike and ended with Josh. As I titled this review: It was Stellar Sales and Super Service. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others.

I agree with previous reviews. No pressure, no hassle, very friendly and professional. They did everything they could to give me a fair price on a 2015 Sorento. My experience with my salesperson Ernest and Cindy in finance was very good. I was offered more on my trade from other dealers and there was an extra fee attached to my lease in addition to first month and DMV plate transfer which I wasn't aware of until it came time to pay. They immediately made it right. I will follow up in 5 months after the first service, but so far so good. I would absolutely recommend Autoworld Kia based on my experience so far.

Lied to and jerked around with the purchase price of a used suv and trade in amount for my car. The sales guy said one thing then put in another to finance. Took a 500 deposit..of course I was not going through with it. Several days later they still have not credited back my account. Even though she said they scanned my card tgat very same day. I contacted with my bank and will go make a statement and dispute if refund is not in there as the Manager said it would be. I was blinded for a moment by wanting the car. But was stupid enough to give the deposit..be caused what he "said" he agreed on.

While I DID come to Autoworld Kia already knowing almost exactly what I wantedtherefore voiding the need to persuade me into picking a Kia over any other comparable make/modelI can still say that I felt the quality of service was on a higher tier than I'd expected. I'm more of a straight-to-the-point kind of person (even when I DON'T know exactly what I'm looking for), and can easily detect sales gimmicks and runarounds. This was not an issue with Autoworld Kia. My salesman (Eddie) didn't give me any false impressions or alluring promises; he didn't apply pressure or dangle temporary offers; he didn't persistently call me, or follow up with their great new $1/month less offer. Eddie was clear, concise, straight-to-the-point, knowledgable about the wares he peddles, and seemed to truly be involved in getting me the best offers. It was more of a "bing, bang, boom" kind of transaction. I was presented with straight facts, not half or warped truths. One thing I REALLY noticed and appreciated that was different (I went to one other Kia dealership on the Island beforehand) was in regards to my trade-in. I NEEDED to get a specific price for my existing vehicle just to cover the remainder of its loannot to mention the fact that it was really worth MORE than what I owed. At the first Kia dealer I went to, my trade-in was appraised at $2,000 lower than the LOWEST trade-in value found online (there are normally four different levels of value listed online). Although they knew this insulting valuation factor was the only thing holding back my purchase of a new vehicle, there was no budging with them. Well, Autoworld Kia, in juxtaposition, refused to even give me an appraisal until they could provide one that was at least MODERATELY acceptable. They didn't just have an appraisal manager open up their monthly "Galves." In fact, Autoworld Kia shopped around my vehicle, seeking a potential market for it so they could provide that reasonable amount. As it turns out, they ended up giving me $1,500 more than I was offered at the other dealership. While this is still much lower than I had hoped, $1,500 is still a lot of money, and a huge improvement than the first Kia dealer I visitedespecially when all I had to do was drive just 20 minutes in the other direction.

Autoworld Kia in east meadow,ny.Today I visited this dealership. Everything was going great until the car that I made the deal for was shown to me. My salesman was great. He worked up the deal that I needed with the manager Steve. I picked out the interior and exterior color which I was told was in stock. After completing the paperwork and having the down payment charged to my credit card, I was shown a different color car with different interior. When I explained that this is what I wanted, I was told by Steve that for the deal that I made, this was the only car he could offer me. I was so upset and disappointed. When I tried to talk with Steve , he told me that there was nothing else that he could do. I then asked for my credit card to be credited and was told by Steve that it would have to wait until tomorrow. He said the accounting dept was closed. I have purchased many cars in the past 35 years and this was the worst experience that I have ever had. After spending 3 hours at the dealership, negotiating a deal, filling out paperwork, charging my credit card, I left this dealership very angry and upset and with no car. The customer service that this manager presented is awful. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone.

My 1st time purchasing a Kia, although my husband has purchased our last 2 Kia's, the Sedona lx, from a now closed dealership in Hempstead, and his Sorento from this dealership, East Meadow in 2003. My husband said if you want to buy a Kia lets go to East meadow, they were very friendly, no high pressure.So, I took his advice and I went onto the Auto World Kia website, and sent a request for someone to call us regarding a new 2014 Sorento with a possible trade in of my Sedona. Dan Leeds called us right away like 15 minutes after the email, so that was very impressive. We spoke to him for a few minutes and then he immediately invited us to come in to look around. He assured us that if he didn't have it , he could get it. We went the next day, he immediately came out from the back, was glad to meet us, and introduced us to Danny Zibulsky, we spoke, we test drove, we discussed, no time limit, no pressure, very comfortable and relaxing, he wanted me not to be nervous and said, look this is a big purchase, I want you to be happy. My husband and I were so pleased that he was patient and kind and knowledgable that we worked together, found the right Sorento for us, then he introduced us to Rich in financing, who again, very calm and easy going explained everything clearly, didn't rush through the paperwork, we signed, and took the vehicle home that night. On the ride home, my husband said,see I told you they were nice guys. Wehighly recommend East Meadow Dealership, and will tell our friends. Lastly, our son will be graduating from High School this June, so I plan on bringing him to meet Danny and get a pre owned Kia as a graduation gift.

I decided to take a look at the Kia soul with my mother and we stopped at the nearest Kia dealership, which was the one in East Meadow. We walked in the door and were greeted by Josh. He shook our hands and immediately made us feel comfortable. He took us over to the Kia Soul that was in the dealership and took the time to explain every detail about the car. I looked at a couple of other dealerships, but I felt much more comfortable at Autoworld than I did at any other other ones I saw. I got to the dealership and 1:30 and left at 4:30 with my car. They made the process so painless and easy. I would definitely recommend not only the car that I got but the service that I received.

I've gone to KIA Autoworld to get into a new lease because I liked my interaction with the personnel, both in Sales during my 1st lease of a 2011 KIA Optima SX, as well as in service during my scheduled maintenance. I've done my homework thoroughly when getting into the the lease for 2011 Optima SX, and done my homework again, when on Dec 23rd, 2013 I moved into a new lease for the 2014 Optima SX Turbo. I'm pleased with the deal I've got, Adam Tepfer the Sales professional handling my lease renewal did an outstanding job getting me the deal that I was looking for - Adam is relentless. If there is a possibility at all that he can get you the deal you want, he won't stop until the deal is done! I'm not one of those individuals that will try as hard as possible to squeeze the last penny out of a deal. I do consider the fact that any dealership is in business to turn in some profit, thus, I'm looking for a win-win situation. When I make a deal I'm therefore figuring out what I'm comfortable with, as a fair profit for the dealership, and then set my price point. If my price point is met, then I consider it a done deal and a good deal. Let me assure you, the reader of this review, that my price point was fully met, which is why I'm happily writing this review. About the car: if you're familiar with the 2011 Optima SX, you know that that is a fun car to drive. The 2014 iteration of the car is even better. More features, changed ergonomics inside and outside, better aerodynamics, a sport mode to boot which transforms the car into some different beast, seemingly eager to take on any other car on the highway. One thing that KIA never claims for its 2014 model is that it reworked the suspension. I however can tell you that something was done to the suspension as well, cause this suspension is positively better! I'm impressed with this car; it is indeed a better car than the 2011 Optima SX. The moniker "KIA - The power to surprise" is spot on with the optima. If you're on the market for something other than the run of the mill BMW or Mercedes, then checkout KIA, specifically KIA AutoWorld. Having dealt with few Nissan and Toyota dealers mostly in Queens NY, I can vouch for KIA Autoworld being a positively much better experience. Lawrence Balan Forest Hills, NY

I happened to be in East Meadow and decided to stop into that KIA Dealership to take another look at a few cars. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for meeting Josh Levin, the Sales Manager Mark, Cindy in Finance (I think thats her name), and the wonderful Staff in Service. My husband Harry and I went into the Kia dealership for service to our 2011 Kia Sorento. While we were waiting we decided to go into the showroom to take a look and see what new models they had. We were immediately greeted by Eddie Calixto. He was very friendly and personable. Eddie asked us if there was something specific we were looking for so we told him that while we were happy with our Sorento, we were having some issues with it and wanted to know what the new models had to offer. He then asked what sort of issues and my husband told him that the doors kept sticking and the check engine light was on for about a week. My husband told him that he wished Kia would improve the suspension on their vehicles because they do tend to handle the roads a bit rough and that when we first purchased our 2011 Kia Sorento we brought it back to the dealer a couple of times for them to check the suspension. Eddie told him well as a matter of fact that suspension problem has been drastically improved on the 2014 Sorento and proceeded to show us the floor model. I asked about the third row seats because the floor model didn't have one. Eddie told us that he could show us other models that did have a third row seat if we were interested. We said yes and he proceeded to take us outside to the lot to show us what else he had to offer. We looked at a few more models and Eddie asked us if we were interested at all in seeing any Kia Sportages and we said we were open. He told us if we we were interested in any of the models it would not be a problem to take them for a test drive. He especially thought it would be a good idea so that we could see what the difference would be driving a 4 cylinder as opposed to the 6 cylinder we currently had. So we took out the 2014 Sorento and the Sportage for a test drive. We were impressed with the way the vehicles handled the road and realized that the 2014 Kia Sorento really did have a smoother ride and the 4 cylinder did have some pep to it. The entire time we were with Eddie he gave great details about each vehicle he showed us. He was very knowledgable about all the vehicles. He asked us what we were thinking of as far as a down payment. We told him that it all depends on what kind of a deal we can work out. We became very interested very quickly but we told Eddie that if this deal is going to happen we really, really wanted to try to keep the same monthly payments we currently have. He said that it would all depend on the down payment and assured us that he would do his best to get us the best deal possible. He also made us feel very comfortable and informed about the decision we were about to make. He said he wanted to make sure we were happy with our decision. We would like to say Eddie really cares about his clients. He was very patient with us, answered our many, many questions and really helped us make an informed decision. Thank you Eddie for helping us with our new purchase of our 2014 Kia Sorento! You are quite a salesman!

I went into AutoWorld Kia to have my 2011 Kia Sportage SX serviced for an oil change. As my lease was coming up in July I had been contacted by the original dealer I leased my vehicle from so I was curious to see if AutoWorld would give me a similar offer. While I was checking out the newer version of the car I had and also the new Kia Sorento I was approached by Marcel Mumlyn who is a salesperson in the showroom. he asked if I needed any help and when I inquired about terminating my lease early he was eager to assist me naturally because the prospect of a sale was likely of course but while he was eager for the sale he was also very professional and didn't push me one way or the other. I have bought a number of cars over the years so i know the whole haggling / negotiation game so i was not into getting into a whole stressful debate. I just wanted to know what it would cost for me to get into upgrading to the more expensive Sorento and if the numbers were reasonable then I would do the deal. I dont feel Ive ever gotten a great or fantastic deal at any car dealership and at AutoWorld I don't feel that either as I feel it was a good deal (not very good, not great) but what made this experience better for me was the way in which Mr. Mumlyn handled himself. He was eager for the sale, but not eager enough to be pushy but more importantly eager to make sure I was happy by the time I drove off later in the day in my new car. I have read some mixed reviews about this dealership but so far every time I have had my car serviced there it has been a pleasant experience and my first time purchasing a new car there it was definitely a better experience than the last dealership I dealt with. Autoworld Kia would be doing themselves a favor by trying to hold onto Marcel Mumlyn as long as possible.

Kia East Meadow has a wonderful sales staff. They are not the typical high pressure sales people, in fact they are very low key and they get the job done. My experience began with Ashley Crawley in the Business Development Center. Ms. Crawley would call and keep me updated if any new/used vehicle of interest became available. Ashley is friendly and professional. I am certain that Kia East meadow appreciates the wonderful job she does. Mr. Scott Shellock Ashleys manger came over to introduce him. Scott was funny and personable. I constantly check their website for inventory. I saw a vehicle I was interested in. Filled out the form on line and received a response within five minutes and a call shortly after from Mr. Tyrone Hudson. Tyrone was courteous, professional and a great help. I had some concerns but, Mr. Hudson reassured me. He did not twist my arm and force me into buying any old piece of junk. He helped me secure a quality vehicle with low mileage and with a substantial warranty. I have had extremely bad experience with other dealers with them it sellsell without any real concerns for their customers. I highly recommend Kia East Meadow and purchase another vehicle from them.

Two weeks ago I bought a used Kia 2010 Forte Sedan and I could not be more pleased with the buying experience. My salesperson, Faoud Ali, was professional and had all the required paperwork completed with efficiency, explaining the process as we went. The dealership found the exact car I wanted and in my price range. The finance manager Richard, was a knowledgeable and friendly professional. This is my First car purchased from at the Auto World Kia and will not be my the last. I stronger believe that Kia line offers the best value on the market today. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fair price and great buying experience. This dealership culture of customer service to my surprised exceeded my expectations and I am not that easy guy to deal with. I had to come back on the following day to finish Insurance paper work (my fault) and my sales person was off that day, However, another sales person Joshua Levin stepped in and made my second day as pleasant as the first one. He went an extra mile of going over my paper work and answering all my questions. I am very pleased having worked with all three of them. Would strongly recommend this dealer ship to everyone and anyone who is in the marked to get a new or a used car.

My experience with Kia was pleasant thanks solely to Ty. I was hesitant about buying a new car and Ty was absolutely wonderful to work with. No pushing, no gimmicks, no games. He went above and beyond to get me the best car with options and pricing that I was comfortable with. He was honest with me and I greatly appreciated that. Answered all of my questions and did everything he could to make sure I left as a happy customer. On my first visit to the dealership my wife and I met with Joe C. I informed him that I was considering purchasing a Rio for my daughter. Joe was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He gave me plenty of information and about the Rio and offered to take me on a test drive, which I declined since I was not ready to make a purchase. After getting a sales price I decided to continue shopping a few competing models. What impressed me at this point was that Joe shook my hand and thanked me for coming by, unlike a few other dealers who refused to allow me to leave before insisting I speak to their manager who then would give his high pressure sales pitch. Two days later I returned with my daughter to test drive the Rio. Joe was busy with another customer but instead of making me wait he had Marcel take us out for the test drive. Marcel was great to deal with, he was friendly and very knowledgable about the car. Marcel had us test drive two different Rio models which turned out to be an enjoyable experience, Thanks Marcel. After the test drive I decided to purchase the car. After negotiating with Joe we were unable to agree on a price, I admit I was really trying to nickel and dime him on the price. At this point I told him I needed to leave for a while to discuss everything with my wife and also to grab a bite to eat. Again even after spending considerable time with me Joe didn't give me the hard sell, and I walked out feeling absolutely no pressure to buy at this time. A few hours later I called Joe on the phone gave him a price I was looking for and bam a deal was struck. I returned and bought the car. Thanks Joe for a very pleasurable car buying experience .

I have been leasing cars for 20 years and i decided to finally finance a car to own. I was recommended to Kia and when I got there it was nothing but a pleasurable experience. Of all the dealerships I have worked with, Josh was by far the most personable and knowledgable of his product. I really was not too familiar with the Kia line and Josh spent alot of time with me and made me feel important which not all dealers do. He spent time to get the transaction right and worked with me all the way through pickup. I loved the ease of transitioning out of my Ford. Amazing experience and already recommended one person who just leased another car with Josh. I rate him a 10 out of 10. and i LOVE my car!

[I'm nearly 60]. In the past, I've gotten a bit gun-shy about sales people.I've rarely felt so comfortable with any other salesperson. He was open, cheerful and very helpful. If he wasn't sure about something, he took the time to check to make sure he'd be 100% correct. He's very truthful and very eager to get things done in his customers' interest. That's what I felt from himHe NEVER made me feel uncomfortable or caused me to mistrust or second-guess him.. .Very trust worthy to his word and not shy about battling the management to get things done the way I wish, even though it took money out of the dealership's pocket. I wouldn't hesitate to ever buy a car from him, regardless where he works. Though he helped me choose the right car for me and opened my eyes up about Kia, if when leasing again, I would most likely buy a car from him at another dealer or manufacturer.I'll spend the time writing on a review if I'm extremely happy or extremely angry but never in-between. This time, I'm taking my time to write the review because I'm extremely happy with him and would recomment him to my daughter and mother.

In regards to my sales consultant Josh from the East Meadow location; my experience with him, Well, what can I say but that he went far beyond that extra step in order for me to obtain the car at I wanted.. It all started with the fact that the heated seats was a major priority for me.. I have been looking to buy a 2014 Kia Soul for some months how and Josh was the man that made it Happen.. For that I a extremity grateful.. He was able to locate and transfer "my car" from PA. Call me back within 2 hrs of walking out of the dealership with no car insight, made a small deposit over the phone, educated and kept me abreast of everything in regards to the purchase of the vehicle. In less then a week I was able to drive off in my beautiful Kia Soul (!) with my heated seats and a whole lot of unexpected extras!!!!!! Thank you Josh L. and Kia Autoworld for making it a painless and an easy experience to drive off with everything that I wanted and them some in my brand new "KIA SOUL" (aka the "hamster car") I absolutely Love it!!!!! I bought my kia optima car here and of course like every other dealer, they talk sweet and be extra nice to you. While I signed up for a car, I tried to get the lowest price that I can get. I mean, who would want to pay what they ask for and pay more than you have to? So, they made it seem like I was getting a really good deal and then, while I'm signing, they charge me $270 for my license plate and extra fees that turned into the original price. (My friend recently bought a car too and paid less than a $100 for the license plate). Also, the guy that handles the finances and all that, he was just plain rude and disrespectful. I made a deposit for $100 by check to hold the price that they have given me for the car. I went back the next day to sign the papers and get the car. I was told that I would get the $100 (the deposit) taken off from the total but of course, they "forgot" about it and told me that they would send a check to me in the mail. Couple of days later, I needed to go back to kia service for the installation of the remote start so I thought "might as well pick up the check." But, I was told they have everything ready and it's ready to be mailed out but I can't pick up the check because it HAS to be mailed. Also, it will take 10-15 business days. I thought that was a little ridiculous but decided to get over it. I get the check today.... and I didn't get a $100 check but a $38 check. They are just ridiculous. Another problem after another. If you don't want a headache and pushy, rude, and disrespectful people that don't care about their customers after we purchase a car, avoid this place and don't buy your car here.

I went in on August 30, 2013 to look into the kia optima. I did the test drive and spent some time talking #'s with the Rep Danny. I made it very clear from the start that my fiance' was going to meet up with me after work to come look at the car and make sure it was worth it and I was getting a good deal. I was not interested in leaving a deposit. Well when I was ready to walk out Danny comes and tells me he got me the car at a great price, so I could just leave a $500 deposit to hold my deal with him. Well when I refused to leave the $500 deposit Danny became very ANGRY and RUDE. He threw himself into his chair, started waving his hands in the air and began yelling at me that I was wasting his time, that it was not about my fiance' it was about the money, then he walked out in a rush to smoke a cigarette and just paced back and forth in front of the dealership. I came to this dealership expecting to discuss buying a car with a professional, instead I found myself in a shouting match as if I was dealing with a low life on the street. Danny definitely needs to be retrained in how to provide proper customer service and then he should be supervised when he is with customers, otherwise he really needs to get into another field. The desperation to sell a car was extremely evident when he lost his temper. Needless to say I left that dealership and as I explained to Danny in the first place I met up with my fiance', and purchased my car two hours later at a different dealer who since after that experience i refused to spend my money at a kia dealership. His behavior was disgusting. But thankfully Fredy at my hyundai dealership saved the day.

I haven't been to many dealerships but I can say this is one I don't want to go back to. The salesperson we worked with was great (I won't be giving out names) and the manager was friendly and kind. The person we signed the papers with was just a ridiculously awful person. He is pretty much bald. He has one bald spot on the top of his head and some hair circling around it. He was just rude and awful and it left me wondering how he even got a job there. One thing is for sure at this place; customer service isn't their number one priority. My family and I went in there on Sunday and held the price we negotiated to get the car the next day. We went back the next day at around 10-11 and we finished at nearly 5. There was just so many problems and such and broken promises. Growing up, I was taught that promises are meant to be kept and that you shouldn't make promises if you can't keep them. The people at this dealership were never taught that, it seems. I can go on forever on a rant but I will cut it short. Simply put, I suggest you go to a different dealership. Some popular alternatives are the one in Yonkers and Karp Kia. I haven't been there myself but I just want to emphasize that you should avoid this place. I guarantee that you can find a better place than this one. I can't even believe that there are any decent reviews. I'm willing to bet that those reviews are from people at the dealership.

I Came in looking for a car, I admit i had bad credit, I am on unemployment making 405 a week (ny max), but got a job recently starting in mid Oct. I was told I would get approved if I showed my unemployment statement, bank statement and put 1,100 down. The salesman said we are good! Give me a 250 deposit, which I did. The salesman told me to come in Wednesday to pickup the car, this was on Saturday. The car was an 07 ford fusion, nothing great or spectacular. I called him Monday and asked if we were good (just had a bad feeling) the salesman said your car will be ready. I called him Tuesday and asked again if he needed anything else. (I Had another bad feeling) he replied that he needed a commitment letter from my new job, which I could not get because my background screening (drug test, back ground check etc...) was not done yet. He also asked for my last 2 years of W'2 forms, which I reluctantly agreed. He said he would get back to me after he talked to Rich, (like I know who Rich is). I was basically fed up, I said refund my 250, the salesman TY (who I refused to mention, but I had to now) said I will get my refund in 24 to 48 hrs. 48 hrs came and went with no 250! I reached out again asking where my 250 was, he replied "let me check with accounting". 2 hours later he took a picture of the refund and sent it to my phone and my refund was dated Aug 14th. But he told me he refunded it 3 days before???? So, in fact TY lied not once, twice but 3 times to me. I am not a liberal/progressive who boycotts certain businesses because they treat you in an unfair way. All I am saying is, do not trust these guys, and if you do, verify it with paperwork upfront. They are dishonest as the sky is blue. I am not asking for an apology, which I never got from TY, he just responded "it is what it is". Not kidding! I saved all the messages. Please be careful, do not let them waste your time.... Be tough with these guys, otherwise they will walk all over you. And... Tomorrow the 16th is 48 hrs, lets see if I get my down payment. Also....I got an email from auto world Kia thanking me for buying a car from them. You can't make this up.

I love my Kia Optima... I CAN NOT stand the dealership we purchased it from. KIA East Meadow Staff sadly gets a thumbs down. As soon as they have your money... they could care less about you. Customer Service went right out the window...as soon as we drove off the lot. We purchased two cars that day...I would say close to $70,000 spent. I'm not asking to be treated like a queen...I just want you to do the job YOU said you were going to do. And when I need to call YOU back 3 TIMES to get it done... I would prefer to get someone that doesn't give me lip service with an attitude. Both sales men that worked with us apparently were let go for making promises they couldn't keep (shocker). Maybe someone should take a look at the current "Manager" Sid.. and see if he needs a little brush up on his Customer Service Skills..clearly this man isn't setting a good example for the staff that work under him. And don't bother posting that generic "Please accept my sincerest apologies for what took place during your visit. This is not how we do business at Autoworld Kia..." I'm already done....

I stop at autoworld looking to buy a 2013 optima. it took about 5 minutes to even get an acknowledgement. Finally, I got aporoached by a salesman. He appeared to be nice. I test drove a lx and immediately fell in love. I told the sales person my budget and he came with a figure.I told him I will come back on Monday. We set an appointment to meet at Monday at noon. While I'm near the dealership the dealer calls me fifteen minutes before noon to tell me he is running late and if I could come at 2. I arrive fifteen minutes before 2 and the sales person is with a customer. He tells me 10 minutes. He finds me and tells me he has to drive to an automall to pick a car up. I'm gave him the benefit of the doubt and stood around. He comes back and I look at the car one last time. I told him lets go for it. Here is what gets shady. I was given a price that was in my price range. Signed forms , and then ask for a credit card to put $250 as a hold. It's not a charge the salesman confirmed. While I meet with the finacial managers he wrote a figure that came to be more than double a month of my given price and doubled the value of the car. I laughed and asked if he was serious. He said it was due to fees, interest, etc. He asked where I was looking. I gave the price and he laughed asking where I got that number. I told him the sales person. The guy said the salesman should not have gave me a monthly quote. while I am walking up the guy is negotiating. Not much should I mention. He gave me a price that I could have settled with but he followed up as an estimate. I told him your clearly doing what the sales man just did "quoting". He suggests to Iook at other cars better yet a camry that us more suitable. While I walked out, the salesman was nowhere to be found so I could not give him a piece of my mind. It's been a week now and the $250 that the salesman said was a hold, was put through as a charge. I have called numerous times. No one has gotten back to me. I will call on Monday. If nothing gets resolved my credit card company have to have a dispute with autoworld kia. I will be writing a letter to the better business bureau of new york as well. btw I went to karp kia. Same money down, the price range I was seeking got me to drive out with the same 2013 optima lx.

While having my car serviced I decided to go to the showroom to look at the new cars. I was in the market for a new Kia. Salesman was not at all helpful and was obviously not taking me seriously. I told him I wanted to trade in my current car. He told me that while my car was being serviced he would have it appraised. While I sat in the waiting area he walked past me at least 15 times and each time I asked if he had the appraisal. Well as I was leaving, my service bring done, he appeared again. I asked him yet again about the appraisal. He then told me there was no one available to do it! So I said if I told you unwanted to buy a car right now you mean to tell me there would be no one to appraise my trade in?? He mumbled something and walked away. He then had the nerve to come back to give me his card. I told him to keep it I would not use him as a salesman. Little did he realize I was ready to buy a car and he just list a sale I found him very rude and not helpful at all. I just wonder if I was a man walking in would I have been treated the same. He also kept trying to push a "car" on me when u made it perfectly clear that I gave an SUV AND wanted a new one.

I've purchased three cars there already and haven't had a problem. I've had to deal for the price I've wanted, however, I feel that is part of the expierence of purchasing a car. I've used their service department and haven't had any problems. Car was ready when promised and the price was good. Once I had a warranty issue and they replaced the part and there were no charges for the part or labor. No hassels! I have recommended three of my friends to the dealership and they all purchased cars and were very happy. Sorry to all those with bad expierences - perhaps you should give them a second chance. I went to Autoworld Kia, looking to trade-in my 2006 Chevrolet Impala with them. I had originally purchased this vehicle from them in 2006. I went in and put down 1,500$ in cash and $500 on my son's credit for a down payment on a used 2012 Kia Optima. The first issue was made by the salesman George who tried talking me into a $200 warranty on the side, that he did privately on the side. I never agreed to this warranty because i hadnt physically got the vehicle yet. The originally paperwork i signed displayed the $2000 down but i came to find out he had taken the $200 out of my down payment anyway. They told me to come back because they had a special finance manager named Sidney who would be able to find me financing because they couldn't. After two months of the run around and being told that i never got approval for the Optima, they told me about cars in my price range. After another 2 weeks she tried to talk me into a 624$ payment on a 2012 mazda 6 which the car was listed for 15,000$. After i turned down the offer and requested my refund i was told i would get my money back that friday on April 26th. I was extremely discouraged after they claimed i couldnt acquire financing and decided to call Transunion and find out credit score information. I was informed that they not only submitted "dummy loans" to 17 different banks but they changed my income and weekly pay information to so many banks that i got red flagged. Sidney never actually submitted any of the cars like the Mazda 6 to the banks. Instead she sent false loan acquirements on a 2013 fully loaded kia optima which as a 30,000 dollar car and were trying to give a $15,000 mazda paying 624 for 60 months which equals 30,000. They tried to make $15,000 off of me and ruined my credit. I was also informed that they got so desperate they started submitting my information to banks in Alaska and Arkansas. Now my credit is ruined and these banks are telling me that i was red flagged about falsified documents and only want original copies of my income as proof. They also lied to me and tried to get me to voluntarily turn in my vehicle and take out a separate loan but they would take the vehicle and turn it in for me? Since when do dealerships turn in your vehicle for you? George told me for two months i had gotten approved for the Kia Optima when the whole time it was all a lie. They also informed me not to make my payments on the vehicle during the run-around for 2 months and that i no longer owned the vehicle they did and until this very moment they still have my vehicle title and refuse to return it. Not only is my credit ruined a few days after i cancelled the deal and wanted a refund i made a payment trying to catch back up on my car payments and the next day the car is repossessed by my loan company. After all of this my vehicle is gone, they ruined my credit score, and i agreed to come back in and pick up my down payment. Instead they sent it in the mail and short changed my $200 and they still till this moment have not refunded the $500 back to my sons credit card. I was informed by George they would refund my additional $200 and still havent recieved anything. Now i am disputing the charges with the credit card company because they have yet to refund my money. What they did with my credit is beyond immoral and they committed fraud by changing my income and making up information.

The KIA Dealership is very friendly, and when they saw me looking around the lot, they came out and welcomed me and actually gave me the time of day, explaining everything about the Sportage I wanted to know. I am extremely pleased with the Sportage, even more than I expected. The style is so much better than the CRV or RAV4. I would recommend this dealership and in fact am bringing my sister to look at used vehicles this weekend.

I went to this dealership looking to buy right then. Well, the salesman seemed somewhat okay at first, but that turned into the worst experience of my life. I left the dealership so upset. I was looking at leasing a sportage, they tried to tell me the value of my car that I was trading in was $600 -- I ended up getting $2500 elsewhere....Does that seem right, NO. Then, after saying that about the trade in offer, he continued to tell me that if I put $1500 down my payment each month would be $617. I'm sorry, am I at Kia or Bentley? The lowest they got to was $500 and I said clearly this is a joke and had to leave, as I was leaving he had nasty remarks. THEN even after all of this, he proceeded to call my phone EVERYDAY asking me if I was still in the market for an optima.....I WAS THERE FOR A SPORTAGE. Finally I answered after a few days to inform him that I bought my car elsewhere. Never would I go to this dealership again nor recommend it.

This year after hurricane sandy my 2012 kia was totalled from the flood that came with the storm.I was devestated. kia auto world worked with me day and night to get a new car for me. Before going to the dealer, we called and spoke with Cynthia, to see a Saturn Outlook. She confirmed the details of the car, and that the key was available. After driving for 20 minutes to get to the place in East Meadow, she comes out with the "I have bad, and good news. The bad is, tha we don't have the car, but I have some other cars tha you may like". this was done on purpose, ths person represents the company. This is why is a low integrity dealer and has no respect for the customers.

After losing both a Kia Sedona and a Kia Rio to Hurricane Sandy I needed another car. I loved both my previous Kia's and knew that I wanted another car. I choose to return to this dealer beacause bot cars had also been purchased there as well. Upon receiving my insurance pymt i came to autoworld in search of a another Kia. I was first met by Takim who listened to my prferences and my limits when it came to budget. I selected an Suv and he explained which one would be a better deal for me- ultimately choosing a Kia Sorento. After Takim I was met by Bill In finance who explained my options with financing vs. leasing. After listening to my concerns Bill was able to work with me and the finance companies in getting an affordable lease. After a very tough three weeks post storm both employees helped bring a smile back to my face. I drove away that night in a 2013 Sorento to replace at least one of the Kia's I lost. Thank you to Takim and Bill!

This dealership doesn't have their act together. Sold me a certified car, was called a few days later telling me I needed to make an appointment to bring car in for service appointment b/c the car wasn't actually certified. How does that happen? Why do I need to take my own time on the weekend and sit there waiting for their mistake? Then service department tried to charge me for whatever work they did. Sales tells you some aspect of service is no charge only for service to try to charge you b/c they have no knowledge about it. Service dept won't call sales to inquire but wants you to go find salesman and work it out yourself with them. Despite having an appointment you wait at the service counter with no one acknowleding you are standing there for 20 mins. They also don't call you when parts are in. Then they tell you how long they need for work but take an hour more. Went there at appointment time to have key cut only to be told locksmith wouldn't be there for another 2 hours. Total hassle not going back there.

This is one of the worst dealerships I have ever been to. Recently, I was looking to trade in my car and buy a new one. As a young couple looking to buy our new car we were not having very good luck with banks wanting to give us a loan. One of the only decent things that Kia did for us was work out a payment plan with us and find a bank to help us out. I fell in love with the Kia Forte and knew that was the car I wanted to drive away in. We had to come back the next day because we had to work out whos insurance etc. So we come back the next day (after calling our salesman to let him know we would DEFINITELY be back at 3:30) and he, nor ANYONE came over to us to begin the process for over an hour and a half. Already upset from the get-go we spoke to the financial manager who managed to get us the payment we wanted, and a decent trade in value for my old car. After being on the phone with the insurance company the brought around a car that was DISGUSTINGLY dirty and NOT the one I wanted! They never once MADE sure I was getting the right car, the one I test drove the day before in white. My salesman was very rude at this point telling us that why does it matter what color u have it in since u got it for the right price. I then had to SHOW the manager which one I was talking about which they should have known since I test drove it in silver the day before. He said I could not have that one because it was more money and they didnt really have it in stock and my only options for that car were black or silver. So i took it in black, and while they were prepping it found a huge GASH in the drivers side door. Now I have to bring it back and have them fix it on thursday (today). I say ok Im off thursday and I call up this morning to make an appointment so I dont have to wait for too long for a loaner car and they say they dont have any loaner cars. I am so unhappy with this dealer and I AM POSITIVE if I didnt fall in love with the car, I would have never gone through with the process.

I have 2 Kia cars, both of which get serviced at the East Meadow dealership, where I bought my Sorento, for the past 4 years. I took my Rio5 in for the 30,000 miles servicing with some additional concerns. The AC was not cooling properly and it still doesn't even after recharging it. On the multi-point inspection they have indicated a low windshield washer fluid level, which they never refilled, yet, I was charged for it. I found this out when I took my car for an inspection 3 days later somewhere else, since Kia neglected to tell me that inspection was expiring when I was there. So it took me another trip to an inspection station where I found out my windshield washer fluid was low. Kia at East Meadow is quick to take your money, but the quality of the work at the service station is poor and sloppy. On a previous occassion they forgot to put parts back. Service is pricy and not good. Very disappointing!!!

I was given a sales Woman by the name of Addie. Addie showed me a few vehicles and was very understanding to my situation. I told her what I was looking for and my price range. I wasn't sure in the beginning only because I was turned down by a bunch of dealers. Well I can't forget Addie's exact words a happy wife makes a happy life. Yes indeed not only was I able to get the vehicle my wife wanted I was able to get the right monthly payment with a good interest rate for bad credit. After getting the numbers of payments Addie was just so persistent and worked in getting me the best rate. Thanks Addie this was the quickest car purchase I have seen. So please ask for Addie if you want to leave with a car and a smile. Just so you know the vehicle was a civic just what my wife wanted

I thought buying a car was supposed to be fun! The service I received at Kia Autoworld in East Meadow was absolutely horrible. Though the staff is friendly and tries to be accomodating, for some reason they can't seem to deliver on their promises. I bought a certified pre-owned vehicle that was not only delivered to me dirty (though they had my deposit and credit application for two days in advance), but with seats so wet I couldn't sit in it. The salesperson had to cover the driver's seat with a black garbage bag so I could drive it. Also, the blutooth never connected to my cell phone as the manual states it should, which is false advertising. All in all, it took close to four days to close this deal because they kept asking me to come back to complete steps which should have been done in one day! I even left the dealership without the proper registration! They are nice people who don't know what they are doing.

This dealership is very sketchy. I bought a 2010 Kia Sedona 2 years ago from this dealership. At the time of the original sale, I felt that they had taken advantage of me and my husband by stating that we could have a regular maintenance plan with this dealer for about $30.00 per month added to our monthly payment. It sounded good and I was told it would include all maintenance needed, but once everything was processed, the plan covered little more than an oil change. I was VERY disappointed and felt used. But I didn't complain. Later on I found out the service center is equally as sketchy. I called to bring in the minivan due to a seat belt not locking properly and a back up camera not operating correctly. The service guys barely looked at it and less than an hour after dropping it off I got a call from the service center and was told that nothing was wrong and come get my minivan. I was livid! I could deal with the back up camera but the seat belt issue was NOT to be ignored. When I told the guy to double check it again, he blew me off and said nothing was wrong and there's nothing he could do. I was so angry I called the 800 number for Kia. All they could tell me is to bring it back in. I do not trust this dealer and their service center. My advice would be to go to another dealer for service. They do not have your best interests in mind.

This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. After shopping around we found a used Jeep on their lot that my daughter decided to buy. The salesman, I have to say were lovely, and managed to keep us entertained through what was then a 4 hours ordeal to get all our paperwork taken care of. By the time they were ready to close and we finally met with the financial advisor we would have signed anything! Turns out we did. When the loan came in at home it was more than $4000 dollars higher than discussed. It seems that they just tack on all those things their supposed to ask you if you want...like the extended warranty package, etc. After what took some perseverance and one good "we're not leaving until we get some satisfaction" visit we got back the money we never agreed upon. Really really bad experience. But again I do not blame the salesman..they were wonderful and should probably go to work for a company with a little more integrity. I have never written a negative review in my life but I just had such a wonderful experience at a different dealership I felt this was due.

worst dealership, i went there to trade in my car for a new one they said my car thats worth 12,000 kelly blue book was worthless and they would give me 3300 for it they said go sell it somewhere else and come back, then the sales rep gave me a long speech on my modified car. I went to karp kia and they put me in a new car in a hour. Id stay away they are very unprofessional and dont know how to treat customers.

I stood in front of the customer service desk for about 10 min and not one person has the courtesy to come over and ask if we need any assistance. So we just looked at the car we wanted by ourselves. By the time we left the show room, still not one person came over to acknowledge our presence. We will definately give our business to some other Kia dealer. I guess it's lucky for me that no one did bother to assist us.

I came in looking at Pre Owned Car and was blown away by the amount of cars the had for sale. All cars had priceing on them and the sales salesman Sidney was a plesure to deal with. I had a trade in and was afraid I would not get the price i was looking for. But to my surprise I was introduced to Sidney's Manager Tommy he sat down and went over some options. They set an appointment for me and, I was shocked, Frankie actually WAS waiting for me. He listened to me, made suggestions for a used car for my daughter and walked me through every step without being pushy, or talking down to me. My credit was hurting, so the finance guy, Rich, worked to get us a very good bank rate. It took a couple days, but he was able to get a very reasonable %.My daughter loves the car! I was so impressed with their help I bought myself a new Optima. I'm recommending them to everyone I know. Of course, the car speaks volumes to all the people who see it. Thanks guys. I have very bad credit. I applied online for an auto loan because my car just broke down, and every other dealership I went to told me they couldn't help me and they all treated me like dirt. I am not a neglectant person, but my divorce has destroyed my credit. Anyway, Addie contact me through the loan source I had applied from, and she could not have been more helpful. We were greeted upon entry by Dimitri. We talked to him about the car we'd like to look at. He showed us the model on the floor and went over every detail. Then we took a test drive and again he went over the functions and options. Dimitri was well informed, very knowledgeable and not the typical pushy car salesman. Our deal was very good, again no pushing "packages". The business person did not try to sell us extra packages. Our overall experience was great.

HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP Their whole staff seems to be miserable and are most certainly unprofessional. Specifically Anthony P. the salesman, who is 24 years old and acts like he's 10. Zero professionalism, all BS. Between stuffing his face with Burger King or Dunkin Donuts, smoking a cigarette minutes before closing deals, and outright lying to us about the interior color of the car, you couldn't get a worse salesman. Then when we tell his manager, Mark, what had gone down (what with the bait and switches and shady numbers being thrown around), Mark decides he wants to act like a little baby cause I told him I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE, and started to march off stomping his feet saying "Fine, don't buy our cars!". It was like the twilight zone. Then we get to the finance guy, Hector, I think it was (who apparently was already "warned" about us) and he seemed like he couldn't be bothered with ANYTHING. There were 2 strange young people in the office that had nothing to do with the deal, and stayed throughout. Hector refused to explain any of the paper work he was shoving in our faces to sign (it was the first lease we ever did, and told him that several times), and when pushed, he gave a half a** answer. After we sign everything, the price ended up being wrong on the final lease agreement, so we pointed it out and Hector got all mad cause it only $3 more than the agreed up price. Yes, that's not a lot, but it was shady and wrong and not the price we put the down payment on the day before. So he comes back and we look over everything and now the mileage is wrong per year. So we tell him and he flips out. Grabs the paper and storms into the other room. After about 10 minutes of waiting, some other guy, tall skinny, about 50 comes in and finishes the lease signing because poor Hector couldn't handle the deal. He just wanted to go home. We finally go to leave and Anthony P is yapping with the other salesman, smoking a cigarette while waiting for us to come out. He sarcastically tells us we're all set and enjoy the car. No handshake or good luck or nothing. We then ask him for the keys he never gave us TO DRIVE THE CAR HOME. "Oh oh umm well one set is in the cup holder, and oh wait, I gotta go inside and get the other one". He goes in, comes back out and picks up his cigarette he had dropped on the ground on the way in, takes a drag, and says "OK here's the second set, you're all good to go. I'm not gonna get in to show you some of the features, because of the cigarette, but you'll definitely figure it out quick". And off we went regretting the whole thing. I stop in to auto world for a certified used Kia that I saw online . I looked and saw a huge selection of cars . I came in a met a salesman, ( Frankie ) he was new to the dealership and a little nervous . As we went into the negotiation process he was talking to his manager ( Tommy ) . So he came over to talk to me and let me know Frankie was new and wanted to make sure that everything was going smoothly he made some jokes asked me if Frankie look like Matt Dillon after laughing alot and talking with Tommy and Frankie I decided to take the car . I thought it was very nice of him to come over and help. I wish all dealers had employees like them . I would definitely recommend this dealership and there employes.

went into the store on april 2, 2011 and was greeted by a salesperson named randy g. salesperson was helpful and assured me a great deal. got into the showroom and agreed to payments of 540 a month on a 2011 sorento. after waiting one hour i dealt with the sales manager or business manager nick matteo. within 5 mins he quoted me a payment of 811 dollars a month and told me that with my credit profile the bank wants to see a "fully protected loan". after one hour of arguing it seemed like i agreed to sign at the 811 dollar payment. it consisted of useless tire and wheel warranties, paintless dent repair, and a wax coating none the less. fast forward two days and i step into the dealership asking for the manager in charge. it had happened to be matteo that day, I told him i wanted to return the vehicle and he told me he would have it towed to my house before i got home. people like matteo give the car business the name that it will always have.

I had seen a car on Autoworldgiant.com, I put in a request online for a test drive. I left my Husband's cell number. He got a call at 9am. The salesman told him the car was beautiful & when he sees it he is going to buy it. My Husband told the salesman he was very serious about the car & he would like to leave a deposit so it would hold the car until later in the evening. My Husband was told that it would not be necessary that if any interest is shown in the car he would call and take a deposit then. He said we would have first crack at purchasing the vechicle. We called before we went down to be sure the car was still there, they said it was. We get to Kia Autoworld ask for the salesman we spoke to he passed us off to another salesman. The salesman gets the keys and takes us for a test drive. We return to do the paperwork.The first problem was added fees $695 Delivery fee, $995 reconditioning fee, $395 Adminstration fee and other B.S. fees So first the car is $14,827 now it went up to $16,527! We were also told that this car had to be financed for this price. We were still really serious about buying even with all the extra fees. The finance guy pages the salesman the salesman goes over & comes back and said that the car was just sold to someone else. This place is typical stero type of shady car deals! BEWARE OF THE BAIT & SWITCH! I now know it is a blessing I did not buy there after reading all the reviews. 100's of people cant be wrong.Should have read the reviews.

Called on the phone about a great priced Chrysler Sebring. and was told they have the car. Not only that I specifically asked if they have more cars in that price range. They told me "sure we have plenty under ten thousand." We called them again the day we drove out there a half hour each way and they didnt have the car advertised or ANY other cars under 10,000. NOT ONE!!! a bunch of liars that seem to act nice and don't deserve any good rating. A BUNCH OF CROOKS!!!!!

I saw what looked kie realy good prices on line for some kia 2010 modles traveled 100 miles to purchase a vehicle after i was told over the phone that indeed these were the prices.well when i got there i was told that these prices were with incentives no were in ther ad does it mention anything about dealer incentives so i drove 200 miles round trip and spent 40.00 dollars in gas and tolls. What a waste. I will say the salesman was very good it was his sales / finance manager that was pulling all the strings

Autoworld had an unbeleiveable internet price on a new Sorento. I called to confirm the price and al told me the car is there and the price is correct. I arrived there an 1 1/2 later and asked to see the advertized Sorento. After waiting a half hour a salesman told me the car was out for a test drive by another customer. The salesman told me he had plenty of other Sorentos but at a higher price. I said I would wait to see the advertized Sorento. Another half hour later the salsman tells me the Sorento is sold but wants to show me another one for $2,000 more. I said no thanks and left. As I was leaving I called Autoworld on my cell phone and asked if they had the advertized Sorento there at the advertized price. I was told yes, the car is here, when can you come and see it? I told the salesman I am there now and but was told the car is sold, he put me on hold and never came back on the line. So, if you see a car advertized by Autoworld and call to see if it's there, it's there. But when you go in person, it's suddenly not there. Amazingly, Autoworld is still emailing me these unbeleivable internet prices!

These people will do anything to robb you. A 199 lease with 2599 down turned outto be 5,400 down by just changing the wheels. In addition, the finance guymade some bogus deal to get the deal thru because he claims he couldn'tget a bank to approve the loan. ( Even though it was supposed to go throughKia Finance) As of today, almost two months after the lease, I haven't gottenanything in the mail regarding payment or payment booklets for the lease.Also, no auto deduction has been made to my checking account since that was supposed to be the case. We'll see how long it takes them to get in touch before I have to get a lawyer.

Horrible experience...literally walked out of dealership and called another brand's dealership we had visited and said we would purchase. Demo raide was in car that was all tricked out so that it gave a terrible feel of the SUV. Eventually drove the model we wanted. When came in with price it was completely out of wack and when we told the person, he started putting lower prices in front of us and crossing out prices we shook our heads to. Crazy! The complete streotype of a dealership...I can't imagine what the service would be like.

Went in for a 2008 Jeep Liberty with 22K miles advertised on the internet for $14999. We called the day before to make sure the vehicle was still on the lot & available. We were told that it was. That afternoon a sales woman named Addy called our home to ask us when we would be in to look at the jeep. We said the next morning & she said that's great. When we got to the dealership the next morning, Addy told us that the jeep was on the lift and being serviced & would be ready for us to look at around 5PM. We told her that we just drove an hour to get here & were not coming back at 5pm. I asked her why the jeep is being serviced now when it was on the internet all week. She told us that this jeep was just taken into the dealership last night. I said how could that be when it was on the internet 3 days ago. She tells us "oh, that jeep sold 2 days ago, but this jeep is identical". When I asked her what the mileage was she said 33K. I said well then this jeep should be priced less than the internet one that had 22K miles on it. She said she would go and check the price. She comes back & says $19800. I said what the hell are you talking about, the jeep in your internet ad was $14999. She tells us oh that price was a misprint. CAN YOU SAY "BAIT & SWITCH" ?? - This place is an absolute JOKE !!!! Don't go near the joint.My wife called the dealership later on to complain to the Sales Manager & tell him what happened. He says to her "well what do you want me to do fire the girl, that's not going to happen. I don't know what to tell ya" and he hangs up on my wife. With a manager like that no wonder the place is a hole !!!!!!.

We had bought a Sorrento from them about a year and half ago and dealt with a different salesman who was nice but no longer there. Being a repeat customer I thought I would be treated with respect but no. When greated we told him what we wanted and was told that I could not get that car for the price I wanted. Was told that we would have to get the Rio, not the Rio 5 for that price. I told him we needed a hatch back. After looking at Soul, we sat down while he went and got us price on Rio 5, they do not have on lot and I understood that, but that was one we were replacing and what I wanted. When he came back with base price I was outraged as I had looked up on website before hand and knew that $18000 was to high, that it was really around $16000, plus the $1000 rebate. We got up to leave and treated even ruder when he made comment that it will a long time before we get a great rebate. Well went to Karp Kia right after and got the car I wanted for the price I wanted, with no problem.

This place has got to be kidding me.. 1st of all, Steve was more interested in telling me about his background and his wall street days than sell me a car.. Then they advertise a car for 10k and then when I get there and they hold my cc hostage, they hand me a payment schedule that equals 23k. WHAT YOU SAY? Oh yes, They pull a bait and switch on me, then want me to buy into his explanation that I shouldn't look at the total buy out cost.. Are there people out there that falls for this? You would imagine that these days are over in 2011, but they are not.. If you buy a car from this place, don't say you haven't been warned!

Same as other poor reviews. However, salesman was a nice and knowledgeable young man.First we went to look at Mazda 3. Called and was told car is available, got there and it had a huge dent in front fender. Salesman showed me a Kia and said that it was $11000 ish. Told me I had to finance to get that price. I said no problem as long as I can repay with no penalty. So we sat down and I asked if there were other fees? He only wanted to discuss the payment amount. I did not care about the payment I was paying it off ASAP. Turns out there was almost $1000 in fees added to price(before we get to the finance manager). I think the car was still a good deal, but refuse to deal with bait and switch car dealers. Would never go back.

When I called they said that to get the internet price you HAVE to finance at least 90% of the price through one of their banks and have at least a 750 credit score or the price jumps up to the "retail" price or "cash" price which is Retail Price: $18,500instead of the advertised Internet Price: $12,648. On Cars.com there is no mention of qualifying or a "different price for "UNPERFECT BUYERS"What a scam....a price difference of $5852 more than advertised because "their banks give them special deals if you finance through them. Walked in knowing exactly what I was looking for and how much I was willing to pay. I have good credit and a down payment. After PROVING the salesman wrong 6 times in 20 minutes, I walked out. I had to walk him out to the car to show him that the floor mats come STANDARD, he tacked on $75 for them. Showed him in HIS OWN dealers handbook that you CAN get this car without a sunroof and leather. I AM eligible for low interest AND $1500 in rebates. After arguing with him, I DEMANDED he check with his manager. Upon returning, he said I do qualify for both. No apology, just kept treating me like I was a pain in his ass. He was blatantly wrong, repeatedly, yet keep talking to me like I was an idiot. The next day I want to KARP KIA and bought the exact car I wanted for $500 LESS than what I thought I could get the car for and $3200 less than the crooks at Autoworld Kia wanted FOR THE SAME CAR!

Came in looking for a car for my daughter, the salesman was more interested staring at my daughter then showing her a car she likes, total turn off from beginning. Figure since i was there i would try to get some ideas about the pricing. The sales guy played dumb at first about knowing any prices, then after some consistecy on my part he started giving me ball park ranges obviously knowing the real price! After returning from test ride my sales person disappear for 15 minutes. Getting impatient me and my daughter went out looking for him and found him on the side of the building smoking with other salemans!! REALLY!! TOTALY UNPROFFESIONAL CONDUCT!! and the guys behind the desk made no effort in intervening on my obvious displeasure by not making eye contact with me or asking me if everything was alright..I got the feeling these guys felt they were doing me a favor by selling me a car! The atmosphere felt dirty and deceitful they totaly lived up to whole stigma of being Liars and cheats.

1. Primary Classification: Selling Practices 2. Secondary Classification: Advertising Issues 3. Problem: We had agreed with them on the advertised sale price for a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder starting at $12,870. by the time they added fees the total was up to $14,600+. Fees were very high! Which we were all set to move forward. We paid the down payment ($3,000) and went in to sign for the financing which they were forcing us to get for that price. When we met with the finance manager he tried to sell us a typical pointless warranty for over $2000 (total now over $18k) when I turned it down and asked what the total being financed was it was $300 more then the total originally quoted. I thought fine whatever. Then when I refused to buy the warranty he said he had to speak with his manager and came back to say that the deal was off! We had already agreed on the price and everything then they were trying to add $2000 to the cost? This made no sense and we had to be refunded the down payment and left after spending almost all day there working on the deal! What a waste of a day! ~ Selling Practices: they add to total cost after agreeing on a price. ~ Advertising: special prices advertised do not include up to $6,000 in additional fees! NO ONE WOULD GIVE US A STRAIGHT ANSWER! Specially on the total cost of the vehicle? What is the issue with the sleezy used car dealers!

Another AMAZING EXPERIENCE at Autoworld Kia. Everyone I recommend leaves there happy. My niece just went in and dealt with a WONDERFUL sales rep Gary. She went in was greeted promptly by Gary, who was just so great that she is sending one of her friends in who needs a car to deal directly with Gary. They negotiated the price until she was comfortable and got her a extended warranty. Just another STELLAR job by Autoworld.

This was by far the easist car buying experience I have ever had. I came into this dealership thinking I would be leaving with a used vehicle because I have not so good credit and only a little money to put down. As I walked in I was greeted by Mike. I couldnt have asked for a better salesperson. He listened to my issues and was able to reassure me that Autoworld would be able to get me into a car. Not only did I get a vehicle, I got a brand new Kia. He negotiated payments for me that I was comfortable with and I left same day with my new car. I will NEVER go anywhere else and recommend Autoworld completely!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, a friend of mine just totaled his car. He needed to get a used car in the $7000 range to fit his budget. He found a Ford Taurus 2006, 30000 miles advertised at AutoWorld Kia in East Meadow Long Island. He called the dealership in the morning asking if the car was still available. He was told yes it was. I had an appointment in the morning and couldn't hook up with him until that afternoon. We live about 35 Miles away from this dealership and called again at about 1 PM to see if the car was there. We were told it was. We arrived at the dealer about 1:45PM. We were greeted by a salesman who was very new to the business. When we asked about the car that was advertised, we were told it was not there and probably sold that day. I was furious. I had sold cars years ago and I would have never done that to a customer. He did tell us he had another 2008 Taurus for around $12,000. Very obvious bait and switch. After spending about 1/2 hr at the dealership waiting for the salesman to show us the car that was advertised we decided to call other dealers we saw had cars right in front of the salesman. He tried to show us a car that was just bought at the auction that had been in a wreck, and was nto maintained. I know this by the new body panels we saw and the fact that the transmission oil in the car was brown and smelled burnt. After looking at these 2 cars and wasting my time I decided I would thank the sales manager for wasting my time. I walked up to where all of the salesmen were talking to the manager and stuck my hand out as if I wanted to shake his hand. He started to shake my hand and then I thanked him for wasting my time. His response was amazing. "Come back again tomorrow, we can do it all again!" This is the kind of salesmanship that gives auto dealers a bad name. I can say this much. I will never step foot into an AutoWorld dealership again.

WARNING, WARNING:One of the worst experiences i ever had with a dealership. My dad went to look and buy a dodge stratus used of course. After driving it and liked it they worked out a price and put a down payment on it. Then they told us to come back in 3 days to pick it up. When i went to go pick it up they told us they sold it to another person. They said they would get another car for the same price. We kept on going back there and checking if they got a replacement car for me and every time they blew us off. All i wanted was a car that was equal and they started to throw high mileage small cars at me telling me that they were of equal value. Also i had no legal action to be taken because i could only sue for the car and they weren't in position of the car. Every time i went there someone else was yelling about similar things. Well anyway i went for a month without a car because these people lied to me and my car was totaled so i have to say it was a horrible experience. I just don't want anyone to have an experience like this also.

The dealer did not deliver what they promised. The car I saw had a DVD player in it. The DVD player was working when I negotiated a price. However, when I went back to sign the papers and deliver my trade-in, I was told by the finance manager that the DVD player was disconnected. He told me that the DVD was not included in the negotiated price and that if i wanted the DVD player I would have to pay another $1,300. AT this time, most of the paper work, transferring of plates, etc. was done. Talk about backing a customer to the wall. I would avoid this dealership at all cost.
