We are new to US as we just relocated here, visited a few car dealers and definitely Foreign Auto Sales is one of the best of them. Especially thanks to Jeff's help for us to get the car we want. Thanks for the trust from Jeff to let us test drive by our own, although is just a small distance but we greatly appreciate the trust from the team. Purchase process is simple and easy, especially for us who has just arrived US for 3 weeks time, Jeff actually help us to liaise with bank and insurance company of our choice of preference. We even got our car one day earlier than targeted date. Jeff even drove us from Clifton Park to the office to collect the car when it is ready for handover. Car price is reasonable, or should be lower than market price. We found out some problems with the car (tyre tube air leakage, rear air-conditional blower not functioning) after few days, and again, the team has greatly done their after sales repair on the car, perfect experience buying car from them. We have used the car for about 1 month and so far we enjoy driving it. Overall, we would recommend this dealer to others.

I purchased a 2006 Subaru Forester and for an older vehicle it is in wonderful condition. I and my husband are a little leery of dealing with used car places, but our experience with Foreign Auto was so good it brought our expectations up considerably. Jon and Jeff were accommodating and considerate. Although they are a very busy dealership (high points for that) they took time to understand and meet our needs. We traded in an older Subaru, and although we didn't quite get the amount we wanted, it was a fair trade that we were happy with. I had cause to call up after the sale with some questions and the secretary (I don't remember her name) gave me good and sound advise. Before the sale, during the sale and after the sale my expectations were met to my every need. Always look to people's reviews, it helps, and their (Foreign Auto's) reviews should be taken seriously. We put a deposit down on a vehicle. We were told the vehicle had to be serviced and we could pick it up in a couple days. It has been 5 days and we have no definitive answer as to when we will be able to pick the car. We were told next week sometime. The salesman acts like he is doing us a favor by selling us the vehicle and seems annoyed when we want to know when the car will be ready. Meanwhile we sold our second car because we purchased this one and now are in a terrible bind. With two people working full time opposite shifts and three kids it is impossible to get around with one vehicle. We now have to rent a vehicle until this car is ready. Foreign Auto should not advertise cars for sale that are not actually ready for sale. I have never waited more than two days to pickup a car that I have made a deal on. This is just rediculous. Foreign auto brings a whole new level of frustration to the car buying process.

I was looking to purchase my first car and told Jon exactly want I wanted. In less than 2 weeks I was driving my own Honda Civic. It was even better than I expected. We have to say this about this Dealership , it was the best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle, the Pathfinder we purchased was exactly what we wanted and was as stated " Super Clean-Loaded ". Now the best part, we drove from Maine to Troy NY to buy this Pathfinder, yes we did on the word it was Beautiful, Jon and Jeff ( Sue ) are up front, honest , sincere , and trustworthy ( a word not used often with car dealers),the process was spot on with no problems ,we would drive there again , most likely not with a storm threat ( they got 14 in of snow the day we bought the car lol) . My wife and myself want to thank all of the staff for a Perfect Deal,,,The Price was much lower, the condition was as described and we loved the drive back to Maine in our Pathfinder LE, thank you all Ted & Elizabeth

We stumbled upon Jon and Jeff at Foreign Auto through Cars.com and, naturally had lots of questions. We decided on 3 different vehicles and they were patient and helpful throughout the whole process. Even with the whole process taking about a week, they stuck with us every step of the way. They even let me "test drive" the car all the way back to Delmar to show the wife and kids when they couldn't get to them! And, when our own financing ran into a hiccup we used theirs and got the same interest rate and less hoops to jump through. Jon made us feel right at home, and Jeff talked to me and the kids like we were family and we couldn't have had a better experience. Keep it local, visit Foreign Auto in Troy. We purchased a 2008 Honda Element from Jon and Jeff. The service was excellent and the salesperson (Jon) was very helpful. Jon had great product information and the delivery of the car was smooth. John and Jeff at Foreign auto sales leads the pack when it comes to the car buying experience. Other dealers take note!! THIS is how it should be done. I couldn't be happier with the entire process. I got a great vehicle at an even better price. These guys are front forward honest through every step. What a concept!! If you're looking to buy a used car, I recommend Foreign Auto HANDS DOWN! I bought my 2007 Nissan Altima from them, and they made it so easy. They're very down to earth, honest and absolutely trustworthy, which is of course crucial when making such a big purchase. I don't even live in New York so I'd recommend this place to anyone, anywhere. I got all the information I needed about the car, previous owner(s), etc. and felt very comfortable with all aspects of the process. They have an excellent selection too!

This was a very friendly place. Jon was very helpful and worked with me every way possible. he sat down and explained everything to me that i needed to know and made me feel extremely comfortable with my purchase. If anyone is looking for a vehicle to purchase i would recommend they come here first. We cannot say or write enough good things about this dealership. We found the car we wanted, but the car buying experience itself is what sets this lot apart from all the others. John and his staff made us feel at home, and that we were in the hands of competent and honest people.
