My experience at Bayside was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. The process was smooth and quick. This all happened because of Edwin P. in sales. I originally came in just because of a previous review naming Edwin as their sales consultant and making their car buying experience great. He was very welcoming from the beginning, very transparent on what options I had, and has excellent communication skills. I told him what I wanted and he assured me that he had one of the best Finance Mgrs-Bobby who would work with the banks to get it done!! Edwin didn’t pressure me or try to switch me out of what I came in for like most salesmen do. He was very upfront, listened to what I wanted and delivered just that! Bobby was very upfront as well and made it happen with the bank. If you’re looking for a vehicle I definitely recommend Edwin in sales and Bobby in Finance. You won’t be disappointed!

I wrote a review about Bayside, Jeep Chrysler on their website, surprise, they did not post it. I am writing a review on Google to WARN anyone who wants to buy or lease a car from them. I have bought and leased approximately 6 cars from them and they were not as bad as other car dealers. HOWEVER, I went to lease a car for my son because I wanted him to be safe and I love the Jeep and Dodge brands. This dealership is nothing but a bunch of crooks. They will not honor advertised deals, they want you to put down thousands of dollars above what is advertised etc. So, if you see an ad for $229. Per month with $3000 down plus taxes and fees,, expect to pay $500 per month with upwards of $6000 down for a Jeep Grand Cherokee lease or over $700 per month if you want to buy it. If the manager calls you about your review which will never see the light of day on their website, don't even answer the phone. Lance the manager called me about my review, I thought he was going to work with me. Lol, it boiled down to tough luck,, too bad for you (not a quote, but that was the gist).. I have been a loyal customer for many years but I think it's time I finally wake up and love another brand. BE FOREWARNED!

Great dealership and very friendly sales team. My husband and I dealt with Turgo and he really went above and beyond. Very friendly and very efficient. There was an issue with our old car, that was on a lease, but Turgo and Jessica, in finance, handled the whole situation and honored the original deal we made. They were patient and did their jobs diligently. We were there for about three hours and Turgo never once complained but, worked with us the entire time. Cannot recommend this dealership enough, especially Turgo. We are very happy with our new cars and more than happy with the entire experience. Go see Turgo to buy/lease a car!

The worst service and most incompetent people in the world. Had so many issues. Latest easer dropped the car off because it was leaking oil (from last time we got an oil change from them which they screwed up as well). They claimed there was a leak in water pump as well. After 2.5 hours of saying just a few more minutes, they claimed we can't fix it now and will need overnight. Had to rent a car. Called in the morning and the service department assured us it was ready when asked to please confirm. Sat in traffic to get here and have them say no, the water pump is on backorder. Wow. All I can say is wow. Guess with their monopoly of service to jeeps they will stay in business. DO NOT come here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible mechanical service, and bad customer service. Was forced to buy a remote starter because the mechanic put in the starter WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. My car was held hostage until I paid $540 for a enhancement THAT I DID NOT ASK FOR!Then I get my car and the mechanics scratched up the paint of my car. Spoke with BOB KENNEDY and HE REFUSED TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILTIES FOR THE DAMAGE ON MY CAR!!! MR. KENNEDY CALLED ME A LIAR AND SAID THAT MY CLAIM WAS "xxxxxxxx"! HE YELLED AT ME AND STATED THAT HE WASN'T GOING TO FIX ANYTHING AND THAT IT WASN'T HIS PROBLEM. I would like all to know that I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR 2 MONTHS AGO, AND IT ONLY HAD 2111 MILES AT THE TIME OF THE VISIT. I KEEP THE CAR CLEAN, WAXED, AND PRISTINE. I HAVE FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE AND HAVE NO ACCIDENTS. BOB KENNEDY IS A NASTY TALKING SCAMMER AND SHYSTER! I took my car to the shop due to a recall regarding the ignition key. The letter stated that it would take about an hour to fix. It took almost 3 hours; 2.5 hours to fix and 30 minutes to get it out from the shop to the street. The part that they changed was poorly installed and now I have to go back to get it addressed again. When I called back to make another appointment, I was put on hold for approx. 15 minutes and had to call 3 times in order to actually get somebody on the phone to schedule the appointment. It should not take 45 minutes to get somebody on the phone to schedule an appointment. Not to mention that I tried calling sales dept. to see if they could help me transfer the call and they were rude as well.

My family has always been a Honda or Audi family. I decided when my Honda lease was up to look at our options in the market. I enjoy the beach and the outdoors hence looking for a 4WD and not an AWD vehicle to lease. Upon walking into the show room I was greeted by Edwin "Eddie" and "Bhav pronounced Bob. Bhav took the time to show every 4WD vehicle in the show room. It took me a week but I ended up choosing the Grand Cherokee Limited fully loaded. I was able to negotiate an outstanding deal with Edwin and Reginald. I was extremely happy and would recommend this dealership to my family and friends. There were no high pressure sales and a very friendly environment. When I leased my Cherokee I realized everyone overlooked the front mats. I went to the dealership yesterday and Edwin greeting me with a smile. He immediately got me the maps and answered my additional questions about the Jeep on how to use some of the features (it's fully loaded and great). When my wife, children or friends are looking for a new vehicle I will send them to Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge.

I am very disappointed in the salesman who made several statements and did not produce. There were several items that were never in the car among them was the seat being able to fold into the floor. He promised to show me when the car was delivered but coincidently he was off that day. The salesman that gave me the car only did so half heartedly and did not know how the seat works. It is funny that someone can sell a product and not know anything about it. No mats were supplied with the car, no blue tooth, no USB port. All these items are supposed to be standard.

I brought my vehicle in for pre existing issues fromWhen I bought the car I was trying to explain everything to the manager over the phone but he kept shutting me out and telling me to just bring the car in.. So I did and I was immediately received with an attitude from the service employee when I explained everything to him he kept repeatedly telling me I was going to have to pay for it despite my warranty. When it was all said and done 1 out of 5 problems were fixed he told me why my steering wheel was shaking but didn't fix it he completely ignored the other problems and I asked for tire prices since the manager told me he will sell them at cost and when he told me what "they pay for it" I know I was gonna get no where because they don't pay above market value for tires. I was here once before for an oil change and coincidently had no power steering fluid afterwards I almost burnt out my power steering pump but I refilled myself and confirmed there was no leakage and I never had a problem with it prior. I will never go back here and I will recommend no one ever comes here for anything.

Worst service dept ever. They used my vehicle as a taxi for other customers and then promised me 2 free full tanks of gas then only gave me 3/4 of a tank. Place is a disgrace to the Jeep name. Not to mention the rudeness of all of the workers in the service deptartment. They have no regard for any customer whatsoever. The supervision in the building is horrendous also. Westbury Jeep service department was the best Jeep service I have been to. So sorry I bought my car from bayside just to get a cheaper price.

The sales part of my purchase was a good avg experience. The delivery of the car was far from acceptable. I was promised a full tank of gas I left with 3/8 full. The vehicle was washed but the interior was dirty with dried mud and dirt on the floor and we'll as a dusty dash board that was half cleaned. I end up taking it to the car wash immediately after I received the keys. I would not recommend any friends back to this dealership.

Luis was great to work with, very friendly and easygoing. He's naturally a very likeable guy and will try to do what it takes to make you happy. I have no complaints about Luis and would recommend him to a friend. The same recommendation goes for Richard Paragas, the Sales Manager who oversaw the transaction.Ultimately, my deal ended up to be a pretty fair compromise and I was very happy overall (I tend to negotiate and question things quite a lot, and on top of that I'm not the easiest person to deal with). This dealership is very busy and seem to do a decent amount of volume - which can be good for you in the long run. As long as you come prepared knowing what you want and have done some research, you will be treated fairly. If you need to be pampered, have lots of time spent on you and have your butt kissed like the high-end dealerships on the North Shore do, this is not the place. You need to: A) be okay with a no-frills kind of service and appreciate what really counts, and B) have a do-it-yourself kind of attitude when it comes to certain details. Keep in mind that what counts at the end are the numbers.I would recommend this dealership, and I specifically recommend working with Luis.

Stopped by on a Saturday 2 hours before closing. My husband and I were interested in trading in our car at the moment for a new vehicle. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a salesmen here at Bayside Chrysler whom was Luis and he helped us through the whole process. We were here passed there closing time which was 6 and they had no problem. We worked out numbers and were satisfied so we made a deposit and came the following day and picked up our new vehicle. I was there for diagnostics and at the end of the day I have received proposal to repair my car for $4500 ($2100 parts and $2400 labor) plus taxes. I have never seen such kind rip-off. The parts are mopar genuine and they are triple priced at the dealership then I have to pay to swap few sensors for $750 worse of work besides $700 for sensors. I have bought mopar genuine sensors myself for a price of $167 from Amazon and went to my mechanic who replaced them at $75. Here is simple math where they are trying to rip you off. Stay away from them as I highly recommend it.

I had a jeep trade in, which the dealer agreed to pay off what I had left on the loan. I kept receiving emails from the finance company that a payment was due on the jeep that I traded in. I contacted the finance company to see what was going on. They said the payoffwas never made. When I called the salesman who helped me (which was a few phone calls) he would never return my calls. Finally I spoke with the finance department and was told they forgot to send the check. If I hadn't contacted the finance company it still wouldn't have been paid.

Terrible service department they are unable to fix the issues without bring the car back several times and poor customer service. I have had to bring my car back five times to fix the rear camera's and its still not fixed plus the number of recall items on these cars is excessive. If you have a recall they wont book an appointment until a month out and this was after the woman I was booking the appointment with informed me that the recall could be dangerous.

My car was having a rear axel noise and I brought it in to Chrysler. It took them 3 days to take my car into the shop and diagnose it. They diagnosed the wrong part. They said that they guarantee that changing the shock absorber will stop the noise but it was still there. They tried to keep my car for many days which didn't allow me to work. I bought my own parts and fixed it at a different mechanic and the noise was gone. How are these mechanic well trained when they can't even fix my car. My passenger door was also scratched. I told the front desk worker, Sheng, about the scratches and he didn't apologize or anything. He told me to send the car in to fix the scratch but how long will they keep my car again?

No matter how hard I try to get away from this horrific place, something improperly done keeps coming up with these guys. First I wait 11 days to have my car diagnosed. Instead of contacting me to inform me what there findings were and quote me a price to fix it, as is policy, they take it upon themselves to fix it. I was so desperate to get my car back, I paid, what I believe was an unfair price, to just to end this nightmare. The problem was that the horn wasn't working and the dealer blamed the after market alarm. I brought along my alarm installer, who swears he did it correctly to talk shop with the mechanic and explain how he installed it correctly. Supervisor said no to that request. After being supposedly fixed, I test the horn and find it doesn't honk when the car is turned off. Service supervisor told me that is how it works. Silly me, I take his word for it. It didn't sound right to me, so I did some research and actually went to check out other 2014 Dodge Grand Caravans and lo and behold, the horn honks when parked and turned off. I went to the dealership and spoke to Bob. He said he thought that's the way the horn was supposed to work. He obviously makes stuff up as he goes along. He then said he fixed it halfway and that was good enough. His last statement floored me. He said it was the alarm installers fault and that I should take it to him to fix. I paid for this repair to be done correctly and completely, regardless of how the horn was damaged. This has been a complete nightmare and injustice and I will not stop until I receive a complete refund for work not completed yet paid for. I found other customers who were very dissatisfied, just stand in front of the service door and ask the customers coming in and going out. Sometime during our discussion, Bob offered to return the money I spent on the repair. He told me to come several days later, but Bob's word is worthless to me, based on my experiences with him. I'm hoping someone in authority and competent will read this and help me resolve this injustice.

The area around the dealer is very good for a test drive. You can drive on local streets and on the expressway to get a true feel for your vehicle. The negotiations were a little rough at first but "All's Well That Ends Well..." we were able to work out a deal at the end. I believe this should be expected of any car dealer as both the seller and the buyer are trying to get the best deal. Terry was the sales person, Rob was the manager, and Leo and Reggie where the finance guys. The employees at Bayside was attentive and personable. I would recommend that if you are going to buy a car from anywhere you do your research. If you do not know what you want, go and test drive the vehicles. Make your decision with your head and do not let your emotions get involved. Then go online research the vehicle. Look at what are actual options, and see what comes with the different packages which are offered. Educate yourself before walking in. Ask questions. With that said I did visit other Jeep dealers in NYC and Westchester. Will follow up with reviews on the service department when used in the coming months.

I have feel in love with Bayside. They have done for me what Easthill, Rockaway and Westbury Jeep dealers couldn't do for me. My first experience buying a car they treated me like a person nobody looked down at me like the other dealerships has done. They have worked with me until the very end and they were not satisfied until I was satisfied. They stood true to they word when they offered me deals and they threw in some extra stuff. They had the vehicle I wanted right on the lot when the other dealers didn't have it. I drove away with my ne jeep having only 3 miles on it. I love it and my coworkers love it just as well. For this to be my first American car I am having a lot of fun with it and glad I have made the final choice of buying it and buying it from Bayside. I would recommend anyone that I know if they are looking for a jeep to go to Bayside first so they won't get disappointed like I did from the other Jeep Dealers.

I have a 2012 Jeep Cheerokee and brought my car in for a regular service. First no parts for my two recalls as of yet. This has been since last year, Not sure what the heck happened, but I left and my car does not have any heat (yes I said heat in the middle of June). I went because the steering wheel was shaking as I drove past 60 miles per hr. Bottom line - I waited 5 hrs and felt like the car did not receive the proper full service that I thought you get - the basic, check my oil, antifreeze, washer fluid, etc., I felt I did not get. Please note I have been to this dealer several times and this is the first time I have to write a less than perfect review.

This is my second purchase at Bayside Jeep and both were great experiences. I did a trade in on both purchases and Bayside was very fair on the trade in values. The first visit I walk in and drove out within a few hours with a new vehicle. This time I made it a little harder on them and wanted a specific type of Jeep, the Cherokee Altitude with certain colors and features. The next day Bayside called me and the vehicle was already transferred and at their location. It had more than I expected but the dealership held to our bargain and the deal was done. From the receptionist, salesman, sales manager to finance they were friendly and helpful. I even received phone calls a few days later to see how everything is going. This is the place to go for your vehicle purchases..

Went in to lease a 2016 grand Cherokee from Turgo based on people I know that have used him. I told him I wanted a 2016 grand Cherokee limited in white with a panoramic roof 20in wheels and hid/led headlights. Turgo told me that those options outside of the 20in wheels were not available on the limited and that is need to get an overland. The overland was way too much for a jeep so I got the limited. The next day I was going to work and saw a limited with the options I wanted. I looked at this dealers website and viewed their inventory. Guess what? Those options are available on the limited but they did not have one in stock that was white. Turgo lied to us telling us what we wanted didn't exist just because he didn't have it in stock. That's a real xxxxxxx move. He won't return multiple phone calls then someone went in for me on Tuesday he said he'd call me within 24hrs. I waited 72hrs went in and what a surprise he wasn't there. Spoke with a manager named Jason Gorman. He was more useless than Turgo. He tried lying to me about the car I wanted not financing for the same rate, called the bank faxed them the window sticker of the car I wanted, guess what? It was a lie as well. What does that have to do with his salesman lying to me? Admit you both lied and got caught!!!

I have leased vehicles for at least 15+ years and this has had to have been by far the worst experience. The day we went for the test drive, the car wasn't on the lot, it was a few miles away at the race track parking lot....how do you sell a product and not even have it available for the costumer. We had to make an appointment for a week later to come and test drive the car Then at the time of signing the contract we sat with in the finance office to sign our contract and pay our bill. When reviewing the bill of sale all these fees were added. No one had mentioned there would be a disposition fee and the leasing bank was a private bank with strict terms and conditions. When we asked for a breakdown of the fees on the invoice, the response that was given to us was that they only give verbal breakdown of these fees and don't detail them on the bill of sale. Today I get a phone call from the salesman asking for a copy of my husbands drivers license. A copy of our licenses was taken from us the day we leased the car. We leased the car 3 weeks ago and today they decide to follow up, it takes THAT LONG? The dealer lost part of our paperwork and now is asking that we send pictures of our legal documents to their cell phones. What type of establishment conducts business that way? I don't understand. I will never return to this dealer. I wish I had read the reviews before stopping by Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealer.

Turgo Tropanasse was my salesman, he was great, and I don't use that word lightly. He was very professional in dealing with me; he was also very knowledgeable with all the functions of the truck. I was impressed on how was able to multi task during my sale and not make me feel like he was rushing me(if he did I wouldn't have purchased the car). I of course am a very out spoken person due to past mishaps, and during the whole transaction Turgo maintained his professionalism and maintained his focus on selling the car and letting me know I was making the right choice. On 4/28/16 had my 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T serviced for an airbag recall and the coolant changed. The service was fast and efficient arrived at 7:30am and was done by 9:45 am. Brian the service writer keep me up to date on the status of my service. I am very satisfied with the service and friendliness of the service staff from the cashiers to the service technicians. The owners Alan and Mike are two of the best. They treat you like family an are always there to help and answer any questions. I have purchased and leased vehicles from them over the last 6 years and always no haggling, they give you the best deal around and stand by it. If you have a problem they go above and beyond to solve it and make sure your satisfied. I am currently waiting delivery of my 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat which they let me order and explained that it will take a few months to build and arrive. But unlike numerous other dealers they are selling me it for less than MSRP and not the ADM ( additional dealer markup). This is the second deal we made with Luis in just 5 months. The first was a Ram 1500 in Nov 2015 and now a Jeep Compass. The Jeep was for me and we picked it up two weeks ago. Everything about the deal was smooth and easy. Luis is courteous, friendly , and very knowledgeable about the products he represents. The thing I want most to say about Luis is that when we picked up the car it still needed to have a back up camera installed. Service person tried to tell me my air filter needed to be changed cost $200.I called my mechanic he told me to bring it in cost $29. After I left the dealer I went straight to the mechanic he took out the air filter showed it to me and it was fine. I also asked the service person to check for leaks he charged me $200 and the said another $800 to fix. I called jeep they told me what to buy for $49 and it works fine. I own an wrangler and a Cherokee I will not do business with people I cannot trust. You lost my business and any referral business.

The main service writer is always pleasant and explains fully what repairs/recalls will be worked on. This time, I had an engine leak and was proved with a loaner car for the day so I wasn't stuck there waiting!

Edwin Diaz is the best!!...bought a wrangler from him at Bayside Chrysler. I live in NJ and everyone in the tristate area gave me the " these things sell themselves so you have to buy above msrp." Also NJ doesn't have a doc fee law so those were somewhere from $300-600. I built my spec on truecar and their internet salesman Kelvin answered every question promptly and kept in touch with me while I was still in search. Came in on a busy sunday and Edwin went through ever spec for the build with me and ordered it within an hour. The jeep took about 3 weeks to build he called me as soon as it came in, went down that sunday early morning even bought us coffee (which i thought when he asked was coffee from the dealership but he went out and actually bought us some fantastic gourmet coffee). Paperwork took about an hour and I was in my ride out!..He even mailed me my plates and registration. All requested service was performed in a timely manner and properly executed. Small complaint: theexcessive time required to bring the car to the service area after maintenance was completed. Additionally, service manager recommended filter and fluid replacements that the owner's manual stated weren't needed until 30,000 miles. My Jeep has only 24,000 miles. I will have the brake fluid and filters replaced at the 30,000 mile service visit.

Brought my 2009 Dodge Caliber in because of a check engine light. I was told there is an engine problem requiring most of the engine to be taken apart. I then found out that my "lifetime" power train warranty expired in 2014 because I never brought it in for a "power train inspection", of which I was never told was necessary nor that was expiring. Was quoted almost $2000 for the repair. The dealer left the car on the street so I took it over the weekend to a local repair shop who repaired the car for $192. I am so disgusted by the way I was treated by Chrysler regarding the warranty that I will never buy another chrysler vehicle again. ( I have purchased three in the last number of years). Jay at the service desk was very professional but nothing makes up for the obvious price gouging that I experienced. Never again.

Ok so the nutshell is if you buy a new car- this may be a great place- but my experience is with buying a used car- and my experience was terrible---- heres the storyMy family has bought 3 previous new cars from these guys, and all had a great experience- so when I went for a used car- I figured I would try this dealer first- I went in on a Sunday at 1 (terrible mistake, more on this later)- We negotiated a price which I thought was actually fair- and I will say they gave me a decent price for my trade in- but when we went for the test drive at 2 pm the car stank like a dog- I told the salesman that I cant buy a car that stank- and he assured me that after the test drive everything would be shampooed- so then we continue the process and by 6 pm all the paper work is done and everyone is gone except me and the paper work guy- then they deliver the car and no shampoo has been done- it still stank like a dog. When I told the paper work guy he laughed at me and wrote a note that they would give me a car tree to take out the smell!To make it worse The next day driving I realized the car tires were not aligned- the change oil light came on- and the key clicker broke about a week later-I called the service dept. and explained that my car was never cleaned, and all the other things that went wrong and the service dept guy was very helpful- and told me to bring it inThey fixed the oil and re-alligned the tires, and tried to clean the car- but they couldnt actually get the smell out! They said come back next week for the new key- when I came back next week the car sales manager was very upset that the service dept was going to give me a new key and he gave me a very hard time- but after 20 mins he finally relented and allowed me to have the new key-All in all I would say that the experience was less than Ideal- price was ok- but a used car dealer is a used car dealer- they will say nice things, but mess you over as soon as they can get your money-Stay away for used cars!!!

Walked in one day knowing exactly what I wanted. Met with Frank and the transaction was as painless as possible. All the papers were signed and the car ordered in about an hour. Played a little bit of phone tag trying to figure out exactly when the car would be coming in so I could get my money together & my insurance in order. It took a little over a month for the car to come in which is how long I was told it would take. When I picked up the car I met with Reggie to finalize the payment and that went well. He was nice and explained everything to me including extended warranty options. Then Frank showed me every feature of my new car and made sure I knew how to work everything/turn everything on/off. I left knowing exactly what features my car has and how to operate everything.

I brought my vehicle in for repair and was told that parts had to be ordered. When I was informed that the parts were in, I brought the car back. After waiting over an hour and a half, I was told that they were the wrong parts. This is the second time that I have had to return for an extra visit because the wrong parts were ordered. This is unacceptable. Jay in the service department couldn't have been nicer but one can't service a car with the wrong parts. I previously always purchased Hondas and it has been disappointing to have this problem two times out of the two times, I brought the car in for service.

4/7/2016 UPDATE: I have been in conversation with Bob Kennedy to resolve the issue. I am happy with his responsiveness and dedication to having the issue resolved and refunding the diagnosis fee. I look forward to updating you all. 3/2016: If I could rate my service experience a 0 I most certainly will. I first took my vehicle to them for a routine service & explained to Sergio that I had some sort of rattling noise which sounded like a pebble came in through the grill of the vehicle. Sergio mentioned if indeed it was a pebble they would be able to take care of it at no charge. I waited for 4 hours for my vehicle to only be told that I had to bring the vehicle in for further diagnosis at no charge and will be put into a loaner car because of the amount of time it would take to diagnosis the vehicle. I brought the car in a few days later as instructed. To my surprise because my car showed signs of body work to the passenger side door, Sergio said I would now have to reopen my insurance claim to have an adjuster view the vehicle. An adjuster viewed the vehicle a day later & to confirm what I said advised me that it sounded like a pebble but should the noise be attributed to the accident they would cover it. Of course now Sergio changed his story & after telling me the loaner car & diagnosis was a no charge, he said I would be charged for these services. Since when do you charge someone a diagnosis fee & not even diagnosis what the problem is. Sounds to me that they are looking to rip people off. On top of that, he tried to say the vehicle was involved in a front end collision when I explained to him it was a passenger side collision. He even went to the extent to tell me to go back to the body shop where I repaired the vehicle & act as if the noise was there right after the repairs. What a snake! I have referred people to this dealer who purchased vehicles but I no longer will. At least if you're going to make up things keep the facts straight!

Took my vehicle for a check engine light and they told me they would do a diagnostic first and that they would contact me with diagnostic result before the day was over. Well, they never contacted me and for about a week I had to contact their service department which gave me the run around. Their service department kept telling me the diagnostic wasn't done and that they would call me but they never had the decency to call you to at least let you know what was goi g on. They put me on hold for over long periods of time. Nevertheless to say, it took 1 week to get the repairs done. Was a week with a vehicle eventhought I told the service department rep that I had a newborn sick and needed the vehicle soon. He didn't care and even mocked me by telling me if he should call the ambulance. Terrible customer service will neve take my vehicle back. Will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Service manager was no help, even thought he indicated that he would contact me let me know the status of my vehicle. He never once contacted me. My vehicle still not running right.

This review is for my awesome salesman Franklin Garcia at Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I walked into Bayside Dodge on Jan.12,2016 looking around for a 2016 Dodge Challenger 392 HEMI SCATPACK SHAKER. I wanted my experience to be as smooth and as exciting as possible. This is my 1st time buying a car brand spanking new from a dealership so needless to say this was a milestone in my life. My expectations were very high & far exceeded by Franklin. He approached me and my family in a very professional, cheerful manner. I was told by many people and colleagues that when you are in the market for a new car dealerships give you the run around and try to hustle you for every little penny. At Bayside Dodge it's the total opposite!!! All there car's are sold at MSRP sticker price, no shady markup's or hidden charges. Frankie sat me down and although I had done my homework before hand by doing my vehicle's build on the company website he urged to redo everything from scratch so we can build it bottom up in front of each other so we stay on the same page. He tried his very best to set me up with a test drive within mins of me being inside the dealership. To me that was terrific A++++ because I have been to many dealerships where unless you don't set up a test drive minimum 2 weeks in advance you can totally forget to go for a test drive. Unfortunately all the automatic transmission Challenger fleets were being serviced which I didn't mind as I was 100% on buying the car test drive or not. Franklin has a very friendly and honest approach. He is a man of respect & integrity. We discussed the whole iconic legacy of the American Muscle generation down to the specifics on performance and technology the car has to offer.I was a bit nervous because most salesman don't know anything about the vehicles there selling, but it helped having someone who is equally if not more as enthusiastic and passionate about cars such as Frankie serve me. Salesmen sell cars because it's their job and they get paid to do it, Franklin Garcia sells dreams because his passion is his reward. This guy is full of life, excitement and energy. Frankie has a true burning desire and passion to do his work, no matter what time of day or night I called him he had the same smile and enthusiastic energy to answer all my questions. My family were all very tough negotiators, and Franklin talked to them like he had known us all for years. It didn't feel like Salesman to Client relationship, it was most definite a family to family relationship. I have seen my SCATPACK have markups upwards of $3,000-$5,000 from MSRP that's a lot of money folks!!!They even have the SRT HELLCAT for not a penny more then MSRP for crying out-loud. Franklin was very informative about the build of the car and he gave me all the details I needed for going the factory order route. I was told it takes up-to 6-8 weeks, Bayside Dodge delivered it in only 4!!! I was informed the very next day that I was approved for finance by the bank manager at Bayside Dodge. Since mine was a factory order, I had the option of tracking my build with my VIN #. Franklin called and told me within a week that my car had been assigned its specific VIN # and I could start the tracking. When we worked out the final numbers after options and packages Frankie was very helpful in trying to get me the best price and keep in mind since the Challenger is a high-end/high performance vehicle there is NO incentives and rebates that come with this the car on the 392 HEMI SCATPACK trim level and even then Frankie worked his magic and got me a superb deal. My car was delivered to Bayside Dodge on Feb.17, and I got the call from them that I can come pick it up the next day. Frankie called me and told me I could come in at 4pm. And I was also aware that Frankie was to leave at 4 but since he is such a tremendous, caring human-being he chose to stay back an extra 3 hours so I take proper delivery of my car and all my paperwork and transaction go as smoothly as possible. For any of us who have bought a brand new car, you know there is an INSANE amount of paperwork involved the day of delivery. For someone who had to tend to his young kids at home Franklin did not once show any expression on his face of being tired or not wanting to be there for me past 4 his scheduled time to leave. He explained everything A-Z in thorough detail may I add about lean holder, finance payments, APR etc...He was ecstatic to deliver me my car. Once the paperwork was done and I had my keys in hand Frankie took an additional hour out of his time to explain everything about the Uconnect infotainment system that comes with my Challenger. I'm telling this to everyone who reads this review Franklin Garcia won't let you drive off the lot without not only verbally telling you and talking to you about the smart systems but he physically gives you examples and demonstrations as to how EVERYTHING works. All staff members in every dept. of the dealership that I came into contact with at Bayside Dodge were nothing but pleasant, honest and helpful. My 2005 Chrysler Pacifica was at the service center for quite some time. They were waiting for a part- the immobilizer. the car was not under warranty, so it was coming out of my pocket. My wife and I needed a car to get to work so we had no choice but to rent one. The car went in on a Friday and tech said part should be in and installed by Monday. Turned out that because the car has been discontinued, parts are hard to come by and sometimes are on back order. First they ordered the part and all we can do is wait for the manufacturer to ship it to them. Since the part was taking so long to get there - now about 5 days or so - the management team started to step in and working on another strategy. They actually called around to all the Chrysler dealers on the east coast to see if anyone else might have the part to try and get it sooner - VERY IMPRESSIVE- I must say. most places would have just said "oh well, not our fault". The part finally came and was installed. By then my car rental fees were over $600, not to mention the cost of the repairs. The best thing that happened to me was meeting the manager - Robert Kennedy. A day or so after my whole ordeal with payment and bills and returning car rentals and pick ups, I get a phone call, It was Robert. Most service centers home that they don't ever hear from any of their customers again because if they do, most likely its because something goes wrong, but not this place. Because of the whole back order of parts and hardship that me and my wife went through, Chrysler was willing to help us out with a partial payment back for at least some of the car rental fees. This was the greatest news ever, as we were now strapped for cash. This man was there for us every step of the way, and did everything he could in his power to be as helpful and curious as possible. That is the true meaning of being a manager and putting your customers first. A++ customer service and effort.

Despite having appointment to pick new car we had to wait several hours to locate paperwork, salesman was out, finance person not in either. Staff was very hesitant to assist until John Hart "volunteered" to help us. I went outside several times and each time the receptionist welcomed me, not recognizing me. It was slow in the showroom at 1 pm, all sales people were talking about other customers. Who knows what they said behind our backs.We almost left to come back another time since we had to be home to pick our son at the bus stop. I have bought new cars before and felt I got better service at Macy's buying a shirt. Did not feel like my business was welcomed.

dealt with jason gorman as lead sales person, francisco oliveri as the one who did the formal paperwork and tom dunn as the finance person. no pressure, no haggling, no nonsense. if you know what you want, they work with you very quickly and efficiently. if you don't know what you want, do your research and go there for a chrysler or jeep product. picked up a white renegade with safety package, wasn't available, so off they went to pennsylvania to get it. had it in a couple of days, all paperwork including agreements and insurance in a couple of hours and that was it. see jason as an intelligent and straightforward sales person

1. call and made appt for company car through Wheels Inc, they found my info through the VIN, and asked me what kind of work my car needs to be done. The lady setup everything for me. no problem here2. showed 30 minutes before appt, but waited almost 15 minutes to leave the car to the valet attendant3. walked to the service desk where there were 3 reps but there was no customer at that time, so i proceed to the 1st rep. He let it out, "THE LINE IS OVER THERE!" I look around, there was no sign saying anything about line. It was very unprofessional the way he presented himself. Very rude, very disrespectful to say the least.4. the waiting room was dirty and old, but work was done on time, but when there was a problem about payment that they try to say it was my fault that i didnt make it clear the car was leased through Wheels Inc. when I made the appt. That is not true. They found my info when made appt, if operator didnt type it in, that is your fault.5. took me 20 minutes to get the car back after that. And found someone changed my FM radio preset

1st time dealing with the Service Area on December 30th, 2015. I brought my 2015 Jeep GC in for service and TPMS issue. They found that it wasn't a TPMS sensor issue but a nail in the tire. They fixed the tire and changed the oil in under 2.5 hours. The Jeep actually runs better now than when I first bought it in September. Everyone at the service counter was very nice, explained everything, etc. Great job!

Went to this Dealership salesman who was moving cars was paged. They did not have the vehicle in stock after walking us around but that's fine. It was at another location. I recommend avoiding purchasing a vehicle from this dealership at all costs.In 2012, I purchase a brand new vehicle from this dealership. I recently brought the car in, to discuss a trade-in for a 2015 vehicle (which is now considered "last year's inventory").The 2012 I had bought from them had very low mileage, and a sterling maintenance record.I was offered a trade-in price that was over $1,000 below the Kelley Blue Book trade-in value estimate. I was told that "Kelley Blue Book is inflated." I wrote down the exact price of the trade-in offer in front of the salesman and the manager. I was unhappy with their offer, but was considering it.I was also offered a specific price for the 2015 vehicle, if I paid cash. I wrote that figure down, too, in front of them both.I went back the very next day, put down the deal they had offered in front of the same salesman, and told him that I was ready to accept and move forward. The same salesman renegged on the deal, arguing that I had written down a "misinterpretation" of their offers. There was no misinterpretation. There were only two figures written down. They simply wanted to try and extract a higher price from me. I was outraged, and walked out on principle. They lost a cash deal, and I was also considering leasing another vehicle. Another dealer will now get my business.I would never do business with this dealer again. Their sales tactics are sleazy, even by car dealers' already low standards.

Made a deal for the price they wanted, confirmed it with a manager who put a sold sign on the car. Gave a deposit and today was going to go finish the deal and pick up the car, when I was told the car was already sold to someone else before us. The car is still on the website. I leased a 2015 grand Cherokee limited 4x4 and Don and my sales rep Adeel were so accommodating they made car buying so stress free and no hassle. I received the best deal and they did everything they could to earn my business which they most certainly did. Will definitely be going back for future business and also already planned to go tomorrow with my boyfriend for his Grand Cherokee Overland. Wish there were more dealerships such as this one. I would give the service department 5+ stars, especially Jay. They are all great in that department and very honest and helpful. They try their best to do right by the customer. On the other hand I have to give a total rating of 3 due to the Finance department. They are rude and not very kind to their customers, nor helpful at all. I have been lied to by one particular person in Finance a couple of times for one specific issue and when I try to get it corrected, I am told everything is fine and rushed out the door. Apparently, the issue still exists and I am trying to get that issue fixed to this day and I have had my car for a year now. Not happy with them at all.

It boggles my mind when car dealership staff is rude, but this is exactly what happened here. Must be the standard set by the owner himself because he definitely leads the team in this respect.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULDI was in the market to lease a new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So I came into the dealership and everyone was very pleasant to get the sale.We agreed on the terms of the lease and I was told that I would be notified within a few days when my vehicle has "Landed". I was called two days later (Thursday) and was told that my vehicle will be in the next day (Friday) and I can schedule delivery that evening. Friday morning, I received a VIN number and had my insurance carrier endorse my policy adding the new vehicle as of that day. Midafternoon, I received a call stating that there was a mix up and this vehicle is no longer available. So now I again had to reach out to my insurance company to make the change. I was called back a few days later and was told that the vehicle will arrive within the week and given a new VIN, I was called the next week and scheduled the delivery. The day of the delivery I was again called and told the VIN was different, so now I had to call for the 3rd time to my insurance company to change this. After the most frustrating delivery the car finally. The delivery condition was HORRIBLE. It was missing one of the letters on the name badge and the tires and wheels still had the factory "writing/numbering" on them, which I had to clean myself.Unfortunately, the problem was not over, immediately I noticed that the car is having transmission shifting issues between 1st and 2nd gear in slow acceleration. After I called and complaint I was told to bring it in, I was inconvenienced to bring in a brand new car that was less than a month old to already be services. After the servicing was completed, I was told that the vehicle needed a "Software Update" and is now fine, which is total BS. The issue still persists and now the car does not down shift properly. The "Wonderful" (sarcasm) sales person Juan Arevalo, has stopped responding to my emails. (GREAT SERVICE, RIGHT).I have reached out to Jeep Corporate and am escalating this issue as the car clearly has a mechanical fault that the dealership is unwilling to admit, I have schedule an appointment at another Jeep dealership to get this rectified.THIS WAS THE WORST BUYING/LEASING EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AND I HAVE HAD OVER A DOZEN NEW CARS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS.STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP THEIR SERVICE IS INEXCUSABLE.

I was super nervous about going car shopping for the first time, but my hand-me-down '98 Toyota Camry had seen better days. Edwin Diaz made the entire process a breeze! The service department is great. I purchased a New 2011 Durango from the salesman and finance manager and purchased some aftermarket warranties along with the vehicle purchased. I had some issues with the Road Hazard warranty company. Once Business Manager from Bayside found out about the issues I was having, he immediately got himself involved and had the issue resolved within minutes. Great job Bayside!!!! I had the worst experience ever at this dealer. As soon as I walked through the door i walk into a yelling match between the sales manager and a customer and they were at opposite ends of the show room. Of course everyone was alarmed and staring at how unprofessional this looked. I took my chances and stayed anyway, I was looking for a truck which is hard to find in manual transmission and this dealer had it in stock. The sales guy Matt was ok, he seemed new to the job. We were discussing a trade-in I had and how much I was looking to get so i gave him my reasonable price (i know very well trade-in value is lower then selling it myself). He steps away and comes back with the sales manager Sal. This guys is a Joke, never even greeted us or a hand shake or anything just straight up rude and with a tough guy attitude. Just walked right by us and sat down, he gives me such a unreasonable offer for my Audi (which I expected from any dealer really), so I tell him I know what my car is worth and we can do better. No negotiating or anything, simply an "I don't have room for your car on my lot" and walks away. Matt of course a bit embarrassed apologizes. This experience honestly made even reconsider even wanting to switch to Jeep. I thought switching an Audi for a Jeep is even somewhat of a compliment because I love the car but I guess I was wrong. I recommend staying away from this specific dealership. When I left I sat in my car to read the reviews to this place, should have read them before coming.

I went to the dealer on Friday to see 2012 jeep liberty they advertised on their website. The car looked good and was in price range. Went back Saturday with my daughter to look. Test drove it wanted to buy it. We were them informed the car was sold LAST WEEK but the sales staff had no idea it was sold. I just checked the dealer website and the car is STILL FOR SALE. They informed us they had a similar car on the way for us to look at. The catch was it was more money ($1500). We liked it but the salesman wouldn't budge on the price because the dealership paid more for the car even though we spent 2 hours with them. The manager came over and he had no idea the original car was sold. All of a sudden he remembered. He offered to take 500 off which was insulting. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. How ironic that I bought my first jeep there in 1988.

Pin stripes were peeling on my 2014 Grand Cherokee and had a dent on the passenger side fender. Didn't notice this since I bought my vehicle at night. Called my sales person the very next morning. The pin stripe was removed bit that took a lot of my time and energy. Useless service advisor, Shang took 2 months to send the " paint defects to Chrysler ". Finally after 2 months of asking nicely one day they removed the pin stripes but tried to charge me $120 for labor... Another incident I made a service appointment a week before for Monday 7am and I had my wife take off from work since this vehicle throws check engine lights constantly. Anyways they refused to service my vehicle because my name was not on the list. I made the appointment but they had no records of this and sent her back. Shang, is one the the worst service advisors, the laziest person you will ever meet and he talks a good line of xxxx.Bayside jeep will never see any money from me ever again. Will never purchase a Chrysler vehicle.

Worst dealership in the world. Bought my brand new car. Did not get to test drive it and some of the features that were promised were not in the car. The manager Jason said he would installed the Bluetooth as the salesperson Francesco said he thought the car came with Bluetooth which was one of the features that I requested. Took the car in to have the bluetooth installed. I am of the opinion that he was going to change the radio and come up with something suitable for a brand new car. He installed a Bluetooth with a microphone above the steering wheel and the other part close to the shift stick. The whole thing just take away from the car. I feel like I was not treated properly. I told them I needed a red car and the sales person if I buy a 2015 car I could get to pick and choose the color. I wanted a use car in the beginning. It was after I sign the papers I realized that I was getting a black car. I could not afford a brand new car but was making the sacrifice

Make sure you have final contract before you want to pick up your vehicle. Lance had told me if credit was good I should get 1.9% finance. Since this number was not finalized prior to pick up the dealer squeezed me into purchasing extended service agreement or increasing the finance rate. I should have walked out and cancelled the deal, however because of time I chose to stay and finalize the sale. My own fault. These guys are slick and you must have everything in writing before you commit. They also have you complete the review prior to final papers so the prior review I completed was all wrong. I had brought two other car from here with no money down and was very pleases how the deals work out. But this time I had a $4000 down payment and thought I would get a better deal with a down payment. So I when online with this dealership and saw what I wanted made an appointment and came in. First off none of the salesmen I talk to the first two deals wasn't there anymore so I talked to the new guy who show me what I saw online. So far so good I thought. Told what I wanted to pay how much I had to put down. He came and told me you got your price. It was the biggest lie they ever told. I wanted to pay between $300 and $400 a month. They told you got it for $335. I was trilled and thought the dealership came though for me again but I was mistaken. The price that they gave me was for every two week and not monthly which make this payment $669 a month. Over $250 more than I wanted to pay. Second the price online was $21,000 but at the dealer it's $28,888 I told Tom Dunn I didn't like the numbers he told me the deal was done and that I could come back in 10 months and redo it for a less price. I left there feeling like I was robbed and I was. They betrayed the trust.Buyer BEWARE!

This place should of been the center of wolf of Wall Street. They are beyond full of xxxx, will do or say anything to get you to the closing table. They do not disclose additional fees until your at the table. They told me one price "all in" and then when you go to close it's completely different. 3k in fees and other nonsense that they can't even justify. Financier completely baited and switched. Francesco or Francisco what ever his name is is a rookie charming salesman whose intent is completely profit driven salesmanship. The guy has been selling cars for a month. Has no idea about the products but puts a big charming smile on his face. Guy put together a lease for one price and one down payment . Truth was I made the same exact purchase 2 months earlier that didn't have nearly the amount of fees and bs, on the same exact vehicle. Took advantage of my mothers Lack of education to the process. When questioned was told "the programs changed" but when we initially called to check out the prices was told " best deals in a year are going on". With these snakes there isn't even fine print, it just doesn't get disclosed for fear of not selling the deal. When called them back to ask what the xxxx they did to my mothers lease deal was told "well she signed the papers". I referred her there to get taken care of and had my trust in there ability to be fair and just. They used that to rob her blind. If they wre the only place on the planet selling cars and I needed to drive, I'd walk or get a bicycle. Truth is with top tier credit she will be driving a car with a 25k msrp with 10k a year in miles amortized over 36 months for 300 a month with 4500 down!! When you do the math the numbers are completely fabricated. 2 months ago I got the same car for 1500 down 260 a month for 36 months with 10k miles a year with less then top ttier credit. How ? Better program? No, difference was I was educated and my mother wasn't so they took advantage by robbing her blind and by telling her "yea you will get the same deal as your son" and then pulled the rug out from under her. To watch my mother cry was heartbreaking. BEWARE I don't want the pain and embarrassment I or my mother felt to be out upon you. Stay away from this place

Bayside Jeep is the worst service department I've ever gone to. I brought the car in for the handle over the passenger side that broke and after waiting six hours,We got the car back and was told that everything is complete. The handle that they were supposed to repair broke again and The seat on the drivers side did not work properly. We brought the car back in and waited 4 hours to find out that they didn't have the part for the handle over the seat.They did a patch up job And of course the handle broke again Also the seat on the driver's was not repaired and were told to bring the car in the following week and would have to leave it there all day for them to repair the seat. Every time we called to find out the status on the repair we were put on hold and then disconnected at least four times. We just got the car back from bayside after waiting all day I hope everything was repaired properly this time. I bought this car brand-new and paid cash for it if you are looking to buy a Jeep do not go to Bayside Jeep There service is nonexistent.

I went to Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge this past Sunday to lease a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. My sales person was Jason Gorman and I was his first client of the day. He spent a good amount of time with me going over different options/packages/vehicles they had available and he helped me find my perfect Jeep - a white 2014 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara edition! He was very easy to work with and I felt we came up with a great price! Many of the vehicles in this dealership are stored offsite due to the dealerships location in Queens, so while Jason had my car being delivered from their storage facility I met with financing, which took about 5 minutes. When my car arrived Jason did a visual inspection with me, showed me how to use some of the features of the vehicle, and made sure everything was in top shape. I left the dealership very satisfied. I felt I got a great deal on my Jeep, my salesman was attentive and helpful, and the dealership itself was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend this dealership and my salesman Jason to my friends and family!

I recently purchased a car there and went back a week later to buy a second car. The first time i went there, i dealt with Onur and Tom Fazzalaro. They were very professional. SECOND TIME was terrible going there. I dealt with Gary. He happen to be a very UNPROFESSIONAL sales person. I was there on a Saturday January 25, 2014. Gary advised me that the banks are closed and he will get back to me on Monday. Monday passed and then Tuesday and he never returned my calls. Finally on Friday January 31, 2014 I was able to speak to guy name John. He said that Gary was very busy and could not give you a call but you are approved and come anytime to pick up the vehicle. I will NEVER go back there because these guys dont deserve my money. They have to learn to be professional. May be Chrysler can have an in house training to train these unprofessional people. Here is the thing : Bayside dealer match my offer which I got from anther dealer and told me that all they charge me is DMV plus tax over the phone . So far so good . then I went to talk with financing manager and everything changed .He talked about all kind of numbers tried to confuse me . I said I don't get what you are saying just write down the numbers . Then it turned out that the car price was increased $1500 , car loss theft around $2500 , warranty around $3500 .DMV fee 345 , processing fee $295 "WOW" I said this is not what we already settle down . He said no choice , you have to buy them . Then I want my refund(I put $3500 dowm) . He said he need talk to manager . He went to talk to his manager and came in and out like 3 times , finally they cut off all added-surcharge ! But my interests rate turn to 6.00 percentage ! This time I really get pissed off . I just take refund and go home. It is not finished... He called me when I just get home and said he talked to bank about my situation and drop down my rates to 2.9 percentage . I said r u sure ? He answered "100% sure !" I went back happly and left very very upset . Yes he did drop down the rates but increase my car price . What the hxxx is that ? How stupid do you think I am ? I get my anwser right away " yes you are if you don't take this offer " I just waste my whole day and 2 trips there and gasline !

Upon entering the dealership, I was promptly greeted and immediately helped. During my test drive, I was given an overview of all the features of the vehicle. During my first visit after the test drive I negotiated a price. Upon my next visit when going to pick up my vehicle, prices did change due to the sales rep not discussing extended warranties. During the final negotiation dealing with Tom Dunn, he helped me get a price that would better fit my budget even though it was different than my originally negotiated price. When I was told to come pick up my vehicle, I was told that everything was all set up and ready to go, however when I get to the dealership, which is a bit of a drive for me from home, they tell me that not everything was installed, and I have to return the next day to get it installed. Overall I had a good experience, I am annoyed that I have to travel back to the dealership the next day to install things that were told to me were already installed.

This is my first car purchase, and I am surprise with how bad can the service be with this car dealership. Not only that they changed my car without telling me, they refused to give me my window sticker (which is needed for insurance purposes. I called the sales multiple times, and every time I was told the person is busy. I left voice mail messages without one phone call back. I had to go to the dealership 6 times to request for one and I had to escalate my issues to 3 different managers to finally get my window sticker. This is not all. A month after my purchase, I had to find out from the police that not only my birthday was entered wrong on my registration, they also had my "sex" wrong! This is unacceptable! I ended up taking a day off to go to the DMV myself to correct this problem, and no apology yet is received from this dealership.

This is the second time I buy cars from this dealer and both of the times I dealt with Robert-Manager and he has done everything in his power to close both deals for me by getting what I was looking for. I have to say it is my best experience ever...they gave me good money for my trade in and gave me a hell of a deal on the new vehicle. I am very satisfied and happy with the deal I got. I know I couldn't get the same at another dealer...this people are like family. I made my visit to the dealership after being recommended by my bank to work with them. My information was forwarded to Ms Latoya Marks, who worked with my financing and was going to help me select my cars of interest. Upon contacting Ms Marks to see my cars i first encountered Kate wh was rude to me barbaric and overly aggressive towards me when i asked to speak to Ms Marks, who she told me does not work for the company. I then spoke to Ms Marks and informed her of the matter and she said that could not be true, and i proceeded to work again with her i had an interest in three cars, one was a 2013 dodge avenger, the other was a nissan altima 2012 and a toyota matrix. The day i came in to see the cars Richie informed me that the Nissan was sold, the toyota was sold and the dodge avenger was being demoed by the service mechanic. then he showed me a dodge caliber which was not on my interest at all i wasnt even asked if i would be interested in it, i went to see it, the cars i wanted to see were jammed in the upper parking lot(sign of bait and switch). Upon seeing he car the car had several scratches and dents after being told it was in excellent condition i added that look in a mental note, i proceeded to drive it after i was told that they would make the car as new, upon driving the car, it made a rattling sound in the engine, as well as the electrical problems came to life when i observed that i was unable to operate the power mirrors, the oil was cruddy and leaking antifreeze. the car was values at 14000, i offered him 10000 because of all the problems the lowest this guy would go was 13999 literally one dollar. this company is a total bait and switch and i was on the phone with a friend of mine who hear everything and can verify the criminal behavior of this company. .....When i called to complain i was told i had no right to and i could go f#(k myself. This place is a totla rip off stay far away.

I purchased an 03 Jeep Liberty a couple months ago in November and was taken total advantage of. I was purchasing my first vehicle and had no prior knowledge in buying a vehicle. I'm beyond upset and frustrated with the Consultant who sold me the Jeep. I put my total trust in the Sales Consultant Turgo who sold me the Jeep. When I found out how much the vehicle was really worth I wanted to fall off my chair. Turgo sold me a car that was priced for $5,000 he sold it to me at the value of $11,000. These people are thief's and I recommend you to not go here. I was experiencing problems with the vehicle every month and was completely fed up. My friend told me to check out East Hills and man I was wish I went to East Hills first! They were shocked as well when I showed them how much Bayside charged me. My consultant Stan took me under his wing and assured me that East Hills was not going to rip me off. I will never again step foot in Bayside Jeep Dealership and the consultant who sold me the vehicle should be ashamed of himself for ripping me off. I hope other people reading this will take this into consideration and think twice of Bayside Jeep and Dodge.

These thieves tried to chrage me $236.00 to change a PCV valve on my 5.7 Hemi. The part itself is $28.00 and takes all of 10 minutes to change it. I figured I would have them do it since I was bringing in my car for a recall anyway but after hearing a price like that I decided to take my car to another trustable dealership. Lost our 2010 Jeep Liberty in the Sandy hurricane, and replaced it for a 2012 Jeep Liberty at Bayside in March, 2013. We bought the vehicle there because of the salesman, Michael Polanco. Michael is a wonderful young man who worked with us to get the car with the options that we wanted. He is definitely an asset to their organization, and if we need to purchase another vehicle in the future we would feel comfortable going back to Bayside and dealing with Michael. Additionally, with the managers input we were able to negotiate a price that we were willing to pay that included everything. We appreciated their time and efforts to find us the car, which was not in stock at their location, as well. All in all was a good experience, and we are very happy with our Jeep....ONLY IN A JEEP is a reality when you own one. We highly recommend it.

A friend of mine originally referred me to Bayside after he told me that he had a good experience there on his first visit. I decided to take a ride with him on his second visit to meet his salesman and see what type of deal he could work out with me. He then introduced me to Andre who was very friendly and professional and listened to exactly what I told him I was looking for. They didn't have the Wrangler with the options that I wanted in their inventory so I decided to do some homework of my own and see which dealers within a 300 mile radius had one in stock. I printed out all of dealerships that had the Wrangler with the exact options that I wanted and Andre was able to acquire one from a dealership in Pennsylvania. While I was waiting for Andre to return from transporting the vehicle back to Bayside, I sat down with John Munzert who dealt with the finance part of my lease. He was very friendly, professional and overall just a down to earth gentleman. We did all of the paperwork without any type of hassle or confusion and everything went smoothly. By the time Andre returned to the dealership with the vehicle they were getting ready to close but he made sure that it was prepped and cleaned before I drove off with it. I have never experienced this type of service anywhere else at any other dealership. Andre and John are both stand up guys and I would recommend anyone who is in the market for a Chrysler vehicle to pay them a visit.

THE TRUTH ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AT BAYSIDE - this review will discuss delivery day and the even shadier tactic they used to get me to change my initial negative review. My sales experience with Andre was great, things turned ugly on delivery day when I had to deal with Izzy in finance(who is since gone) and Rob(who was really the bigger problem). After leaving with gentleman's agreement with Andre and Rob, I returned to Bayside with a friend who was also looking for a Wrangler on Tuesday the 14th of May to sign my buyers contract. I wanted to put my deposit on American Express, but Andre asked if I could use another card because theyd had issues with Amex. This was an enormous red flag, but I trusted Andre and went ahead with it. I heard from Andre on Friday May 17 that he was en-route to pick up my vehicle. I was shocked because we hadnt agreed to any financing terms or a solid price on painting the hardtop. He said let them get the vehicle and then well work on financing. I was okay with this because if they have already committed to a car then theyll be more likely to work with me. We set up for me to take delivery the next day, Saturday at 2pm. To tell the entire story well need to backtrack a bit to the events of the week leading up to delivery. My issues started when I wanted to have the black hard top of my wrangler painted and packaged into my financing. I was asking for a solid price all week which I never got, but I did receive an estimate of $700-$1000 and was told I'd have to talk about it with the business manager when I came in. When I came in for my 2pm appointment on Saturday I sat around the showroom for an hour before the business manager was free - I guess that is what it is, luckily I had nowhere to be until 6pm. When I was finally able to see someone, I had the misfortune of being paired up with Izzy. As soon as we got into his office he started ranting about what a great deal I got so I knew he was trying to butter me up for something. He started talking about the rate they got me and when I told him I was hoping we could do a little better he was sarcastic, rude and arrogant. He basically told me I was crazy to think I'd ever get a better deal than they were offering. After putting on a little show he opened up his computer and lo and behold there's magically another financing offer at 3% lower contingent upon showing proof of income. At this point I'm so fed up with this clown and his attitude I want to walk out, but I stay - for now.Next he started talking about the extended warranty and when I said I felt the wrangler was a pretty simple vehicle and it was unnecessary at this time he basically told me everything will break on the vehicle. His exact words were "everything has a wearable part, so it's not a matter of if, but a matter of when it will break." Yeah, now I really want to buy this car. He then went on to tell me that if I elected to not get the extended warranty that day, the price of it would increase as I put miles on the car. This made no sense to me and John later confirmed that this was completely wrong.Now that I'm good and aggravated we got to discussing painting the hardtop to which he reacts 'you can't pain that black textured top'. I told him that Andre had told me all week it was possible and if it can't be done I don't want the car. He makes a few phone calls and comes back to me with a $2500 price. I tell him that's unacceptable given the quote of $700-$1000. He leaves and gets my salesman and another manager whose role seems to be to fix things. Instead he's a loud mouthed bully who inflames the situation. He starts borderline yelling at me that I'm getting such a good deal on this car, but the worst was when he twisted my words. At one point I said I was pushing Andre for a solid price all week on the painted top because I had a feeling this would happen(that they'd try to screw me) and he twists my words to say that I said I 'knew the price was too good to be true and couldn't possibly be accurate' when in reality the only thing I knew was too good to be true was my sales experience with Andre. I tell him you know what, forget it, refund my deposit and I'll be on my way. He points to the catch-all in the contract when I mention that if the deal is contingent upon them securing financing and our agreeing to financing terms, the contract isn't enforceable until we've agreed on financing. Unfortunately I missed the catch-all and I know that since they refused to take AMEX I'm probably out $500 plus the time it'll take me to file a lawsuit or two that probably won't get me anywhere, but will ensure they don't make an easy $500 off of me. As I start to walk out past loud mouth Rob yelling in the middle of the sales floor that he didn't authorize the deal on the car they eventually located and it was too expensive for that deal and all this other crap. Well, mister manger, then why was Andre permitted to travel to NJ to retrieve the car if you hadn't approved the deal? Seems like you don't have the proper protocols in place or you're not following them - regardless, you're not doing your job, but I wouldn't expect someone like you to ever take responsibility for anything.As I'm walking out Andre asks me to wait, which I do, because I really feel that he's just a victim of working in a place with poor management. After getting tired of listening to Rob's(by the way, I'm pretty sure this guy's name is Rob - I could be wrong) show I went outside. After about 15 minutes I left Andre a note to call me if he wanted and left. About 20 minutes after that I got a call from John who didn't seem to be completely in the loop on what was going on, but things get lost in translation and it's understandable. I explained to him where we were at and at this point I'd calmed down enough and realized it wasn't worth causing problems for Andre. He'd been good to me and to a friend of mine who'd actually signed a contract with him earlier that day. At the end of the day I went back, dealt with John, and left with my car, but not until I was thoroughly aggravated. I'd recommend Andre and John. I can't comment on any of the other sales people, so maybe some of them are useful too, but on the management level, I'd say absolutely insist you work with John. He seems to understand that the car sales business is pretty much a service business at this point since any dealer can get any car. Treat a customer like garbage and they'll go someplace else. I visited 6 dealerships before choosing Bayside, and I happily would've gone to another 6 if I went into John's office and hit anymore bumps.THE REVIEW AND BAYSIDE'S RESPONEAfter my initial visit to Bayside I posted an extremely positive account on a few dealer review websites as well as on some Wrangler forums. I forwarded them to Andre to kind of say thanks while also communicating that if something does come up down the road with this, itll see the light of day. This plan obviously didnt come to fruition and I had the delivery experience that I had. I posted that account on Dealerrater and a few forums and I received a call from John Munzert that day. He started asking what he could do to rectify the situation because ultimately, though it was beyond clear in my review that Andre was the ABSOLUTE SINGLE reason I even wound up going back to Bayside after the fall out, hed be negatively impacted by the review. John told me that the review falls solely on the salesperson and Andre wont be paid on the deal if I dont remove the review. I told him that that is absolutely insane and that it feels like theyre trying to leverage my respect for Andre against my good nature to get what they want and I dont appreciate it. I told him Id give him a decision on Friday when hes back in the office.After doing some research it seemed that this may really be the case that Andre may not get paid on this deal. I was extraordinarily conflicted on what to do, but at the end of the day I amended the review for the time being. I did feel they were taking advantage the situation and my respect for Andre. While I initially felt that it was Andre's prerogative to work at a place with such backwards management, I realized that jobs are hard to come by these days and he also took the time to travel out of state to retrieve both my vehicle and a vehicle he sold to a friend. Those were hours he could've been in the dealership selling other cars, but he was out sitting in traffic to get me mine. Months have passed so I'm comfortable posting the real story here.

I came into the dealer because my jeep had issues with the horn and on top of that it was time for its yearly inspection. On the first day I came in Jay was very helpful and informative. He said not to worry about anything that the team will have my issues resolved as soon as possible. Since the wait was about 2 hours my boyfriend and I decided to walk around the area. When the car was ready Jay kindly gave us a call to let us know. When it was time to pay the bill i figured it would be a good amount of money because of the horn issue. Jay provided me with great information about the expenses that were covered given that my jeep was only a year old. I really appreciated that because i was not aware of this. I left and the car was working fine but later on the same day the horn died again. I went back the next week and as soon as I walked in Jay gave me a warm welcome. He was very friendly and respectful, This is good given the amount of stress I was under because my 1 year old car was broken already. I informed Jay that I had to work that day and would really appreciated if I could have the car back as soon as possible. He said they would try their best. But soon it was time to go to work and my car was not ready. Jay kindly offered the free service that came with my jeep benefits of having a car for whatever time it took for them to fix my car. I was ready to request that but just at that point my car was ready. As I didn't have time to wait for my paperwork Jay offered to mail it. I was glad to receive all my paperwork in the mail 2 days later. Because I felt welcomed at the service center and because Jay provided me with important information and always went out of his way to help me I will always go back and totally recommend the center to everyone. I was in search of a new car since my first Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon was totaled in an accident on December 7th, on an icy Northeast Pennsylvania road. After searching on Autotrader and Ebay I finally found the Wrangler I was looking for. Everytime I called the dealership, I was greeted with a friendly answer on the other end of the phone as the receptionist was always very courtious and helpful. When I was connected through to the sales dept, I was introdueced to Turgo. He was very understanding when I told him my situation with the other wrangler and wanted very much to help me with getting a new car. At no point was he ever pushy or try to talk me into something I didnt need or want. He was only concerned about getting me into the car I found on their Ebay listing. Turgo was wonderful throuhgout the process, very helpful and understanding when the weather didnt allow me to pick the car when schedeuled. John Munzert in the financing Dept was also outstanding to work with, very people oriented and also a wrangler fan, so he was very easy to get along with. In my overall experience, me coming from "smalltown" PA, going to Queens NY to pick out a car might seem strange to some, but I would deffinately buy another car from Bayside. These guys are top notch and I'm very happy with my decision in my Dealership. Thank you Turgo, John and everyone at Bayside for making my car buying experience not only easy but fun as well. I brought my car into Chrysler for service because the check engine light came on and car jerked when driving. I was initially serviced by Henry when I dropped off my car and was in constant communication with him each day thereafter until I picked up my car. We, unfortunately, had to go through a third party, the warranty company, for authorization which caused a delay in the service time- at no fault of any employees of Chrysler. The overall experience with Chrysler was great because of Henry and Lenny. Henry kept me well informed of what was going on with the repairs and when he was unavailable, Lenny was able to help me (and even calm me down over the phone when I lost my patience with the warranty company and expressed my frustration). These two employees (and I'm sure there are others that do this each day) exhibited outstanding customer service skills and had an enormous amount of patience. As a consumer, I have a choice of which company I want to do business with. I don't have to bring my car into Chrysler...I choose to bring my car to Chrysler. This decision is simply based on customer service satisfaction and I will continue to do business with Chrysler because of Henry and Lenny and people just like them. I do hope that these two men will be acknowledged for their excellent service but more so for putting my mind at ease when I had doubts about the warranty company making good on their commitment to honor my contract. Thank you!

I tried to get the summer clearance deals. A saleperson found the car I wanted and asked me to put down deposit. Then I could pick up the car new day. Next day, the saleperson called me that the car I wanted was sold out. He asked me to come to dealership and gauranttee to offer me a good deal. After I went to dealership, they offered me another car (2013 model) with higher price (becuase I couldn't apply for summer clearance credit). Meanwhile, they also added a "loan processing fee" that the salesperson never explained to me before. When I did the financing, the finance person told me the interest rate is 4.65% (I have execellent rate score with over 800). Also, I did research that there is now a promotion as 0% APR for 60 months. I feel like I was being rip off, then I decided to walk out. The finance person started to yell at me and treated me very mean. After a big argument, the finance person offered me 0% APR for 36 months only. I feel like they are doing business dishonestly and try to hide some fees. The advistisement is not true in reality.

I visited multiple Jeep dealers and the only dealer who was honest about availability, pricing, rates, and fees was -Bayside Jeep. I had already placed a deposit with another dealer who promised to find me my exact car, after five days they admitted they probably would not be able to deliver. So I went back to Bayside. The Sales Manager, Robert, was always fair and honest. In addition, I would like to point out that the other dealers ALL quoted a lower APR on the Laredo X model I was looking at - to convince me to take a car in stock. However, that APR was not on their worksheet - and when I questioned them about the difference they lied and tried to convince me I wasn't looking at the APR. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN AT BAYSIDE, THEY WERE HONEST AND STRAIGHTFORWARD.When dealing with the Sales Manager, Robert Caballero, I felt comfortable. He was a genuine person, who makes ALL the customers feel like family. All of the employees were friendly and sincere.BAYSIDE never lied, never tried to bamboozle me, and was upfront about all the costs. I am a loyal customer! I am SO happy with my new Jeep GC. This was my wife and I's first new car together and we were dreading the process to say the least. But From the moment we walked in the dealership and met Giovanni we felt comfortable and were inclined to start negotiations on a new Jeep patriot. We had brought in a newspaper add from a different Jeep dealer in LI that had a great deal and wanted to know if they would match it since we lived only 4 blocks away. Giovanni then brought in the sales manager Robert to confirm they could work with us. There was no prying, no low-balling, no tricks, I told Robert what trim and options I wanted and how much I wanted it for, and the rest was history. They Accommodated us for all incentives I brought to the table, and then some. We were extremely happy with the final price. After that we met with the financial officer and he got us an amazing loan and a great rate. All of this happening as the place was closing, but there was no rush, no attitude, nothing but kindness. Throughout the entire process they couldn't of been more courteous and professional. I will absolutely refer anyone I know, friends and family to Bayside Chrysler for their next new car. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our new Jeep, and knowing that we know a dealership with honest working human being's. Not the stereotypical "sleazy" car salesman.

He is learning and I understand that, but Rob the sales manager and Josh on two separate occasions had to fill in to take care of what he did not. We had a splendid experience at Bayside Jeep thanks to Jason Gorman and Richie Pargas. They were wonderful with finding the Jeep that we wanted and for our budget. We had a bad experience in the past with another dealership, so we asked lots of questions. Jason was willing to answer ALL of them with a credence smile. Thanks Jason, stay that way. We strongly recommend Bayside for buying a car. We went to many dealerships and ended up coming back to Bayside...they had the best deal! Seriously.

I am giving this rating regarding my recent purchase at Bayside. They had the car I wanted and I was able to drive away in it the same day I purchased the vechile. Elvis was a great salesman very polite and friendly. The rest of the staff also was very helpful I had to return to the dealership for side rales to be installed and to sign off and give in some paperwork and Elivs wasn't in so I was helped by another saleman Edwin Diaz who also helped me out getting all the paperwork over to my insurance company and made sure i was in and out and the side rails were installed.I will be sure to recommend this dealeship and both Elvis & Edwin as well!

My husband and I have been coming to this dealership location since 2010. Our experiences have ranged from good to most recently great! We both fell in love with particular cars. Our personal Salesman Onur Gurbuz guided us all the way through along with the entire Sales Team to help us find the best deals within our budgets. This dealership is very kid friendly as well. My young son and daughter made a couple of new friends here - they were kept entertained with a playroom area right next to me. My overall customer experience rates a 10 and we will definatley come back again and recommend friends and family here.

Overall good experience for first time new car purchase, driving past 25 years. All went well with exception of delivery of vehicle. Confusion with location of vehicle which had been delivered from another dealership then relocated. By the time I received it already had been used with more than 40 miles. The second key was misplaced in the confusion. Spent a lot of extra time waiting for vehicle to be prepped and delivered. Had to return dealership to have additional key made. For my troubles they did provide me with an additional key a $300.00 value. The salesman did all that he could possibly do to expedite. In addition even made sure to be in a early to ensure all went well. Unfortunatly both salesmen involved had been off the prior day and seems that no one understood or cared why my vehicle had been delivered. The vehicle was then driven to the storage area for someone to pick up a vehicle for another customer and left at a location 20 minutes away. In the relocation was when the key was misplaced. A lot of yelling bought it between salesmen and shop. Had I not been off on vacation I would have been insane. Bad enough I canceled an appointment I had and missed picking up my family from work and school. This overall was an unfortunate incident. I did not ask for any additional price breaks and none were offered at the end of the day I was glad to be out. And not thrilled to have to come back due to dealership location. It took me 2hrs to get home a 20-25 minute trip had I gotten out before 3pm. 2hrs to get back on Wednesday another 30min trip. Cost tolls and gas. A lot of people had told me I should have argued over the price for the vehicle. Seeing it was used by the time I received it or even just return it. I did not, I am most likley a fool for not. As I said first time new vehicle purchase. I had all my business in order and check in hand for the dealer. Ready when I arrived for pick up. If you do the right thing and are inconvenienced and not receiving as promised maybe they should make the better offer, next time I will know better and walk. This way I wont have to hear it from the wife and everyone else how I screwed up by not arguing. Learning curve for myself. The key was a great extra but if I figure my time gas and toll we are most likely even. So really received nothing extra for the additional hassle and the use of the vehicle to which they were running back and forth.

I have to say,this was the worst experience of my life working with Bayside Chrysler Jeep to purchase a vehicle. I must also say their customers satisfaction is not a priority. They work harder on the LIES and the SHUCK AND JIVE mentality. I worked with a salesman named Kevin, and later his supposed sales manager.. Nelson. I spoke to Kevin numerous times leading up to the purchase of my vehicle.I asked specific questions about the condition of the vehicle, previous owner mileage and general condition. I never received the same answer when I would ask the same question a little differently. At this point my gut feeling was saying stay away these people are liars I should have taking my own advise. They will tell you anything to get your hard earned money out of your pocket. I let my guard down and now I have to live with it. Liars Scammers and Thieves!!!

Horrible to deal with. I was quoted a price thru there financial department. Once i show up i was told that the price was not valid. They were pushy and very rude. Did not seem to care to make a sale or work with me. I even felt threatened at one point when they were getting loud. Very unpleasant. WIll never go back.

we wanted a used car with no previous accidents, when buying the car we asked 10 times for the carfax of the car but they never gave us. Didn't give us contract of the car that we bought until 10 days after we purchased the car. stole our $1000 down payment saying that we never paid it even though we have our credit history to prove it. i ended up going to another car dealer to get carfax then i found out that the car they sold me was an old car with two previous accidents. when i went back to the dealer to change the car that was their originally their problem they made me sign 3 contracts and were still trying to get more money from me which i didn't give in and the dealers gave me the worst attitude and ended up shredding all my contracts and said that we are stuck with the messed up car they gave us and they are not making a deal wilth us. once they shred our contracts we left them they key to car saying it was their problem not ours and its their car, they took the key left it on the car door as well as opened the door on a busy northern blvd street - anyone could have stoled the car and these dealers would have made us responsible for the car. i had to call the cops in order to deal with them cops told me this wasn't the first time these dealers are stealing money, the cops told me that this dealer "is playing a game with us and that we must beat them at their own game with the better business bureau." never never buy a car from this dealer because this dealer has a bunch of thieves and liars working as their salesmen..

Was looking to buy a car during 'Cash for Clunkers', they raised the price of the car $5k; took $500 in cash, stated it would be reversed the next morning. When I re-read the agreement I saw the over charge on the car; called and canceled the car, which also they stated was the last one. I almost settled for it. They did not return the $500 for two weeks. I had to report them to Better Business Bureau to get my money back! Liars and Theives!I will always recommend to others to stay away from that dealership; additionally they have a history with consumer affairs, they are crooked and were fined by that agency.

We got a quote for a lease on a chrylser pacifica with 15k miles/yr. When we signed the lease, we got the old bait and switch, even though the dealer assured us that was what we were getting. We had no choice but to keep the car. When we were close to 36k miles (way less than 3 years), we couldn't get service. They apparently had listed the car as sold to Chrysler about 6 months before it was actually sold so they could get the credit from Chrysler. STAY AWAY. THEY'RE CROOKS!!

Made an appointment on a Monday. By Friday, car was not worked on at all. They never called to let me know what was happening, and when I called, they were never sure what the status of my vehicle was. They were very interested in selling me more services, but didn't seem to have enough time or ability to fix what it was already there for. Lots of smiles, double-talk and run-around, but got nowhere. Very incompetent. How does this "5-Star" dealership keep it's rating? After the fact, I found many people with similar stories. I guess once they earn that rating, they no longer have to try. Want decent to very good service? Find a dealership that is trying to get the rating!
