Went there for service on my 2010 Honda told them I had an extended warranty they said it didn't cover my service. Found out when I traded the car and cancelled remaining extended warranty that it would have covered the repair but couldn't re-imberce me cause the contract had by then been canceled. Went talked to service manager and talked to him and let him know that and that when I had service I told them 3 different times about extended warranty, he advised me that if I had bought from them they would have known what I had I advised him I had told them when ordering part ,when schedule service,and when getting service about warranty to be advised that it wouldn't cover it. When trading at another dealerI was asked about purchasing another extended warranty which I dec)inedible for reason I thought I didn't pay for things only to discover that I would've covered if Billy Craft would've filled paperwork out. . Also talked to several sales and service manager and they told me that if I would have originally bought the car from them they would have taken care of me. Said I should have shopped local. I thought a customer whether sales or service was a customer. Will not EVER go to Billy Craft and wouldn't advise anyone to

I got a notice in the mail stating that the airbags in my Civic were under a recall that I needed to come in to have it fixed. I had noticed the airbag light and the check engine light were both on in the car. I figured the airbag light was related to the recall and that I could get them to check the engine light while they were doing the airbag repair. Boy was I wrong. I was charged 95 dollars just so they could "run tests" to figure out the issue. They ordered the part to fix the airbag light and that was still under warranty. However, the check engine light was apparently caused by something in the emissions system, but to diagnose it, I would have to pay another 47 dollars. So, I had already paid 95 dollars to get the problem diagnosed and now they were trying to charge me again after having not even diagnosed the problem! That is uncalled for and unacceptable. What should have been a free recall repair turned into a bunch of money down the toilet. The representatives that I talked to while dropping off the car and picking it up both were cold and did not treat me as a valued customer. I will avoid this dealership at all costs and hope that my friends do as well.

We returned to Lynchburg to purchase our 12th Honda from Billy Craft. A call to the dealer set up our visit and after a 3-hour trip, Kevin and Ricky Hamlett had everything set up to compare 2 cars that matched our request. It was like old home week seeing everyone. They carefully explained all the new features of the 2015 Civic EX for us compared to the SE model and had the cars prepared for delivery. We couldn't ask for a better experience that is why we still return to Billy Craft Honda for our Honda purchases.

Went to purchase a new HRV. I was told that if I left a deposit they would seek to locate a car like I wanted within 4-5 days. Well, 3 weeks later (yes a little past 4-5 days), we decided to find the car for ourselves, so we found it at a dealership 3.5 hours away. It took all of 30 minutes for us to locate one. Then, when we tried to get the deposit back from Billy Craft, they told us that they had found the car and it was coming in that week (maybe a little communication of that would have gone a long way). Also, they had quoted me at 3.9% interest and then checked around at banks and said they could not go any lower than 3.9% for me after running my information through their credit application. The other dealership (from out of town) offered me 1.9% interest. So, we decided to go with the dealership from out of town. After we told them the final decision and requested the check back, they offered us 1.8% interest. Funny how all of a sudden they could cut the interest rate in half, which they ABSOLUTELY could NOT do before. I would not purchase a car from Billy Craft without at least looking elsewhere and getting offers from multiple dealerships, because Billy Craft will take advantage of you if you let them. It may not be that all of the salesmen there are like this, but I was not at all pleased with my experience.

This vehicle is the 10th Chrysler van we have had..the first one purchased in 1996 in Texas! So you can see that we are devoted fans of Chrysler! Mr. Luke Oaks was our salesman. We had visited once before and Mr. Okes helped us test drive the Honda Odessy that My wife wanted. Mr. Okes was knowledgeable and patient while guiding us through the questions and procedures of the new model. On our return visit we had decided on the model we wanted. I came to Billy Craft Honda with clear ideas about what kind of car and what kind of buying experience I wanted. Billy Craft Honda did not let me down. Salesperson Ricky Hamlet, who had been recommended to me by a good friend, greeted me warmly at the door. I was pleased by his knowledge of his inventory and his helpfulness. I knew that I wanted a Honda Fit and Ricky showed me his inventory and explained the differences between the models and their advantages. He also worked hard to accommodate my preferences. During the test drive, Ricky demonstrated how knowledgeable he was, not just about the Fit and other Honda models, but also about how the Fit stacked up against other makes and models. The car buying process went smoothly and quickly from beginning to end. I most appreciated the fact that there was no heavy-handed sales tactics or strong-arming. All the paperwork was completed and I was out of the door and on the road within a remarkably short period of time. It was a terrific experience from beginning to end and I am absolutely thrilled with my new car.

The salesman, Ed Vest, was extremely helpful in providing information we needed in order to make a final decision on a car. Ed was at the dealership on the day that we bought our car because he was taking pictures for an internet sale, and yet he spent almost four hours with us on what should have been his day off walking with us through the entire process. I have purchased several cars over the last few years from Billy Craft Honda. I have always been satisfied. Each Salesman makes me feel like they really care about you buying from them. Not only do they show this but when you make the deal they will try there best to get you the best service whether it be from a bank or a credit union. They make you feel relax when going through the paper work during the sale. But what really get your attention is when the salesman set with you for the first time in your car and explain ever lever and knob on the car. It like they went to college on every part of the car and cannot be fool about what makes it tick. You know how you always test drive a car well the last one I just purchased was a 2006 Honda Ridgeline with 19,558 miles on it. Well I have had three and when I saw this truck it has just been cleaned up and has not been advertised. I e-mailed the Manager and asked Him to call me the next day at 8:30. He did and we discussed his asking price. We came to an agreement over the phone. He asked me when did I want to come and drive it. I told him that I didn't need to drive it I have owned three. If I didn't know how they handle there Customer I wouldn't have done this. I trust them because they stand by there word with a hand shake. If you are looking for a use auto or a new Honda You want find a better dealership in Lynchburg, Va. or any other state than Billy Craft Honda. Tell them Sammy Dickerson sent you to them.

Just bought my first new car in 10 years--a Honda Civic EX. Jessica Hicks patiently showed me what was available in several models and I drove two. I went back the next day and looked at the Civic EX and made my decision. Jessica was very helpful, knowledgeable about the various models, and gave me all the time I needed. Once I had decided, the paperwork was completed and I was on my way. I am not taking delivery until later this month, and it was agreed I could leave the car there until then. I also took my old car in for its 150,000 mile checkup on Friday, as I am giving it to a family member. As always, the service department did its usual outstanding job, not just with the service work but having it ready when promised, letting me know it was ready and providing a convenient ride to and from work. I know there are other great cars out there, but I have been dealing with Billy Craft for 20 years or more and have been completely satisfied.

We had a lot of trouble tracking down a Honda Fit in the color we wanted. Dealers in our area claimed that there wasn't one in the state of VA. I looked around online and saw one listed at Billy Craft in the color we wanted. I called early in the morning and Ed Vest got back to me quickly to say that they did have the car and that he had personally checked that it was actually on the lot. He gave me his out the door price quote within the hour. We live two hours away from Lynchburg, so I was worried that the car might be gone before we could get there to pick it up. However, Ed was very reassuring. He told me he had the keys in his hand and he sent me photos of the specific car to prove it was actually on the lot. We put a deposit down to reserve the car and then drove to Lynchburg to pick it up. Everything was exactly as Ed had promised on the phone. The whole process was really smooth, quick, and easy. I highly recommend calling Ed if you are looking for a new Honda. This was my first experience buying a car and I couldn't have been happier.

What a great car buying experience. I have been talking to friends and family about their experience with the Honda product. I had been researching the Honda line of vehicles as my wife was in need of a new car. We had settled on a CR-V with navigation system and while on a trip near Winchester Va. we went to a local Honda dealer where we test drove a CR-V exactly like the one we wanted. We didnt have our trade vehicle with us or we may have purchased that car, that day. We returned home to South Boston where I continued to search for a car closer to home. Last Friday night I located the car for us on the Billy Craft Website. Saturday morning I contacted Ed Vest about the availability of the car and if it would be possible to make a deal on the car that morning. He emailed me back before he went to work to let me know that he would happy to assist me in my car buying experience. My wife and I were leaving on a trip that afternoon and wanted to go in our new car. When I arrive at the dealership I was greeted by a pleasant young man named Kevin Caldwell. I told him that I was there to see Ed Vest so he escorted me into the sales floor where we found Ed very busy with customers. Come to find out this was a very busy morning at the dealership. Kevin took the time to show us the car that we had come to see and offered for us to test drive the car. We accepted and after some formalities we were allowed to take the car on a test drive. It was exactly what we were looking for and upon our return Kevin helped us complete most of the paperwork that we would need complete the purchase. Kevin took care of our trade vehicle and also helped my wife and me to acquire great financing. Although we spoke to Ed several times in the process Kevin was busy doing most of the work. We made a deal on the trade and they were off prepping our new car. All that was left to do was spend some time with Doug Pendleton II the business manager to make sure that we understood all of the paperwork, but also to give us some great options to make sure that our Honda buying experience would last well into the future. With the paperwork signed, we finally got to spend some time with Ed. He took us out to our new car and he thoroughly went over all of the features of our car as well as going through all of the vehicles setting and allowing us to customize everything the way that we wanted. We left Billy Craft Honda that day not only with the car of our dreams, a great deal, but also with some new found friends. We left the dealership and took the car on a 2 day trip. The car performed flawlessly and I have to say that the sales staff at Billy Craft Honda performed even better. I have purchased many vehicles in my life, but I have to say that this was the best car buying experience that anyone could hope for. I will be a repeat customer and will let everyone I know what a great dealer that found that day.

I just traveled to Lynchburg,VA and bought a Honda Civic EX from Billy Craft Honda for my daughter who has joined Liberty. It was a pleasant surprise, thanks to the exceptional, quick and honest response from the sales person Chris Davis. It was first time that I could buy a car in only 3 hours. I called Billy Craft Honda office at 10.30 A.M. and asked for the final last price. Sales person Chris Davis explained the options available and told me that the July 4th promotion is ending and without any further bargaining he provided the best price. I had researched about the price over the internet and I found it to be the best price. I came to the show room at 11.30 A.M. and could buy this car by the afternoon. Our sales consultant, Luke Okes, made the car buying process easy and stress-free. My husband and I knew what we wanted (small SUV), and he delivered exactly that (Honda CRV). He was up front with the price, and did not beat around the bush like Toyota did in order to keep you at their dealership. He understood that I had a limited amount of time in order to sign and go over paperwork the following day. He explained this to the finance department, and they had me out the door in under 30 minutes. He encouraged me to come back to the dealership at a later time in order to review the vehicles' features by a telephone follow-up. He spent 30 minutes answering questions that I had in order to feel more comfortable in my brand new vehicle (although some answers could be found in the manual). The time was drawing near where I had to let my leased vehicle go, I thought that maybe I could buy it or if not lease another. I needed to explore my options and see what I could do. I've always liked Billy Craft from being a customer over the years as I've had all my vehicle dealings through them. Ken Roberts was one of the guys that was recommended to me to talk with and I didn't know either of the gentlemen mentioned so I didn't know what to expect. I met Ken and he tried his best to find out what I needed to know and went to great lengths to make sure I was informed. Unfortunately despite his best efforts I didn't buy new or lease, but I really wanted to. If I had the means I would have made that choice, so I walked away empty handed that day. Now because I like Honda's so much, I could never really see myself driving anything else, especially because I'm rather fond of Civic's! In the back of my mind I really only wanted to deal with Billy Craft, so I checked out their website and saw something that held my attention. Later that day I got an email from Ken just following up and asked if I had any questions, so I replied asking about a used car. At that time I didn't know if I would go for it or not, but the next day Ken invited me to come and look at it and take it for a spin. I was still on the fence and still looking at other options, so I put it off a day to think about. I thought pretty quickly because I remember Ken said something about loyalty which stuck with me. I can't remember the exact words, the feeling was there though. Plus the car that caught my attention was indeed a Honda and a Civic. I was pretty set when I went in to check out the car the following day(Ken switched his schedule to make the appointment for me). The test drive would be the proof in the pudding, sure she was older and had miles, but I knew I'd take care of her! Ken was great and showed good salesmanship, even though I didn't show my intentions until he asked me what I wanted to do. He ran the numbers and got the lowdown on what options I had. When I saw what I could do, I said "Yes, let's do it!". Thank you Ken for your customer service, it's excellent and even after the sale up until now, you're still providing great service! My husband and I were so impressed with this car buying experience. We called early in the day and made an appointment for that evening to see an Odyssey... When we arrived the door was opened for us and the Odyssey had been detailed and was already running so we didn't have to get into a hot car. My husband and I have purchased numerous new cars over the years, but I can honestly tell you we have never experienced a more relaxing and pleasant car-buying experience as we did earlier this week with Luke Okes at Billy Craft Honda. Last November we were referred to this particular dealership by our son-in-law, Chris Sands, who manages the Enterprise Rental Cars shop on Forest Road in Lynchburg (great place to rent a car by the way!) We met Luke at that time and almost bought a CRV but wanted to "sleep on it," as so many like to do when making an investment like this. Luke did not pressure us - he only wants to sell the right vehicle that meets his customers' needs and wishes. Over the weekend my husband and I stopped by to look at the new HRVs that just came out and were pleasantly surprised to see several of them on the Billy Craft lot! We contacted Luke (who REMEMBERED us from last November!) to test drive one on a very windy, stormy Monday night. WE LOVED IT! Luke taught us all about the car, letting the car sell itself. He did not push us in any way. And in about an hour, we drove off the lot in my new sassy red car! :) We traded in our 9 year old Honda Civic and received a very fair trade-in value for that too! I returned the next evening at Luke's invitation so that he could sit in the car with me to teach me about every button, knob, and cool thing in my new HRV. He spent over 30 minutes with me! This is the fourth vehicle purchased from and second vehicle traded in at Billy Craft Honda. I am a customer for life! I shopped around other dealers in Lynchburg, but no one has the service and professionalism of BCH. My salesperson, Ken Roberts, expertly guided me through the buying process without trying to bully me into extras and options. Ken's "closing team" of body-detailers, financing liaisons and other sales associates had me in and out of the dealership in no time. Our last vehicle was purchased two years ago, but in a day and age of sales-force turnover, I recognized everyone in the showroom, and I felt eased by the familiarity of the faces and the calming absence of high-volume, heart-pumping "music" designed to amp my ambition to purchase a car with only 2 seats (we're a family of 4) and neon under-body lights flickering to bass hits and illuminating a subtle over-priced air. I wanted a simple vehicle which got me from point a to b, rain or shine, with the benefit of allowing me to have a "My Little Pony" DVD on constant repeat to appease those with higher demands. Was I opposed to used? No. Was I opposed to a singular scratch on the passenger door? No (BCH is having that fixed on their dime this week). Did I want the promise of excellent service, safety and a courteous "How are the wife and kids?" You bet! ...I'll be back to BCH for my "mid-life crisis" vehicle, and I'll see Ken and Kelly and Doug and Kevin...sooner than later.

This was my first encounter with Billy Craft and Honda. I started my search on the internet which lead me to a make a phone call to the dealership. I spoke with Luke Okes. He was the kind of salesman I had hoped to encounter. I went to the showroom the next day. My phone contact and my show room visit were great. Mr Oakes was courteous and well informed about Honda cars. I had not purchased a car in 13 years so I had lots of questions and Mr Oakes was very patient with me. When we realized the exact car I wanted to purchase (model/interior/exterior/features) was not on their lot Mr Oakes found the car and it was brought to the dealership asap.When I arrived to test drive the car and do the paper work I was very comfortable with how all of that was handled. It all started in the mid 1980"s. Hard to believe 30 years has passed since my first Honda started delivering reliable performance. It started with a Civic for commuting, then Momma wanted a nice shiny new Accord. Before long the kids reached driving age, and another Accord (this one used) fitted in the driveway, then a Prelude arrived to make the parking of four Hondas a real challenge. We got use to using each others' cars on a last-in, first-out system. Eventually two Hondas left for college, to return occasionally when they needed oil changes or washing. As time moved from decade to decade, the kids' Hondas moved away, but the original Civic and Accord were replaced, first with a new Accord, then a new Element, then a new Odyssey. Every single one of the 7 previous Hondas has provided quality performance, with reliability beyond comprehension. So retirement has arrived and what do you buy? A new Honda of course. So off to Billy Craft to see Ken Roberts again to buy "Another Honda". This time it's a shiny CRV and I expect the same type of high quality performance from the vehicle and the great service from Kevin at the Billy Craft Service department. Thanks Ken for your kind, friendly attention during the buying process. You made it as painless as it can be to buy a car. But this is now my 8th Honda, so it is being named Henry.the 8th of course.

She has been the most personable friendly person to deal with. Her knowledge of the products was excellent and she was able to meet our needs. However, Mr. Davis at Honda made the buying process pleasant and painless. My new CRV is wonderful and drives like a dream. The quality of the base model CRV is comparable to mid- or luxury trim levels of other car brands. This has been the best car buying experience that I have ever had. After having owned Toyota products, my wife and I decided to test drive the new Honda CR-V EX-L AWD w/Navigation. We really liked the quality, comfortable ride and standard features that other car companies list as options. Then we visited a Honda dealership in our home town and wasn't impressed with the sales personnel. So we took a drive up to Billy Craft Honda in Lynchburg, VA. We meet Ed Vest who is the internet sales manager that I have been emailing with the last few days before our visit. What a fantastic experience we had talking to Ed about the Honda CR-V. Ed was so helpful answering our questions and providing us with additional information so we could make an informed decision about this vehicle. We meet the business manager who helped us with the paperwork which was completed in very little time. Then Ed took us out to our new Honda and sat with us in the car and went through all the features explaining each one and showing us how to custom change the options of each feature to suit our needs. Billy Craft Honda's facility is very impressive, very clean and the staff takes great pride in their work. All of the staff we meet were very friendly and customer focused. Their goal seemed to be to make you feel like family and give you a great car shopping and buying experience. It is hard these days to find a company that has a great product at a very fair price while giving fantastic customer service. Billy Craft Honda is that company and I would highly recommend this Honda Dealership to anyone. I know that I will make the trip to give them my service business.

The thought of buying a car didn't make me too excited. I dreaded having to deal with the typical car salesmen. I was pleasantly surprised to see this wasn't the case with Ed Vest at Billy Craft. Knowing my preferred method of communication was email Ed used that instead of leaving a dozen messages on my phone throughout the day. There was no pressure during the process, Ed simply answered all questions I had. The test drive went well, again no pressure just answered all questions I had. Since we have two small children my wife and I had to test drive the vehicle at different times. Ed treated her in the same manner he did me. It just so happened there were two used Hondas in pristine condition, a 2012 Accord and 2009 Pilot. We came back to Lynchburg to buy the Accord and then returned a couple of weeks later to get the Pilot. Chris was great to work with and offered great value on both.

At 64 y/o I have bought my share of cars. I rarely buy from a Dealer. My wife has her car buying 'memories' also. Neither of us can remember a really "great" experience with a Car Salesman. The whole idea of dealing with the stereotypical "Used Car Salesman" is daunting. Ed Vest changed that. We began looking at a new Honda CRV over a year ago. At Billy Craft Honda (which is only 4 miles from home) and other Honda dealers. Ed Vest is the Internet Salesman and in over a year of communication online, on the phone and in person, never once did he "push". Ed's attitude was always; "Take your time, we're here to help." And he meant it. Dealing with Ed Vest was the first time we actually found buying a car from a Dealer pleasant. Ed actually cares about what you want and what you can afford. It took us over a year to finally make up our mind and to be able to afford the car we wanted. Thanks to Ed we now have it. We told him which car we want and the monthly payments we can afford and even though we wanted a 2014 in January 2015 Ed found the car for us with the options we want and worked at getting the price down to fit our budget. We can't say enough good things about Ed Vest. Billy Craft Honda is very lucky to have him.

We purchased a used 2010 Odyssey and have been impressed with the drive and handling from the onset. We have purchased seven Hondas from Billy Craft. We just got our second Odyssey, a 2015 EXL. Our 2002 is still running strong with 175,000 miles, but hey sometimes you just want a new car. So the 2002 is being passed down to our son, who will get another 100k out of it I am sure. Nothing beats a Honda for reliability and safety, which is why we started buying Honda in the first place. Raised four kids with Honda and they all drive one as well. Ricky Hamlet has been a great salesman to work with, always helpful and informative with the selection and delivery, and never high pressure. We have always gotten a fair deal from Ricky as well. Kevin Habermas runs a great service shop, and comes highly recommended. The service after the sale is so important, and this sets Billy Craft Honda apart from much of the competing dealers.

I had heard good things about the Honda CR-V and started looking around at different dealerships for a used one. I am not fond of shopping for vehicles. When I stopped at Billy Craft Honda the salesman, Ricky Hamlette, was very helpful in showing me around and gave me quite a bit of useful information. He never pressured me for a sale and I felt very at ease dealing with him. The vehicle I eventually bought was featured online on their website. I went back and gave it a test drive and fell in love with it. I was very satisfied with the price we agreed upon. The experience from start to finish was wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. The next time I need a vehicle they will definitely be the ones I go to.

On my third Honda after being a ford family. At Billy Craft Honda I liked the salesperson, Kelly Howe, who was enthusiastic and friendly, genuinely made me feel welcome. I appreciated that the dealership was willing to make offers to prevent me from going to other dealerships where I had purchased/shopped before (distance factored into going to this dealer). I received a good trade- in value along with the end of year sales, inventory and paying cash, hope got the best deal possible..so I Purchased a 2015 Honda CRV EX and while my other Hondas were assembled in Kentucky this sticker said Mexico. so tiny cosmetic lack of attention to detail in this one so personally preferred made in usa but cant have everything. There are a lot of new safety features in the last 5 years so I upgraded from 2010 to 2015. so far so good. I love the brown color, it is delicious Merry Christmas.

If you want a truly honest and objective review of Billy Craft Honda, look no further! I have bought four vehicles from them in the past 10 1/2 years. If they read this, they already know who I am! If you are interested in buying from this dealer, or looking at a Honda in the Lynchburg area at all, please read this review. Billy Craft Honda has a trusted name in Lynchburg that has been around for a long time. Founded by Billy Craft himself (from right here in Lynchburg- went to school with my Grandmoth), the Craft name has become the premier name in Lynchburg when it comes to buying anything from a Honda, Jeep, Hyundai and more. Overall, I will likely do business with this dealership again. They have clean facilities, a reliable and comfortable service department, and can give you a fair deal on just about any car. I have bought new and used. Cars and SUV's! Here are the Pro's and Opportunities, in my opinion: Pros: Local if you live in the Lynchburg area- the next Honda dealer is about 50 miles away. The same staff and management in place overall year after year. I would recommend my salesman, Chris Davis, to anyone.Chris has been there for about 11 years and is good-natured, offers friendly customer service that is a great balance between asscertive and super friendly. Car sales is a tough business to be in. These people rely on commission to make ends meet, but they also know that they can't mark a car up too high for risk of losing the sale. Oftentimes there bottomline (after negotiating) can be about $300-500 more in my experience than a car you can get at certain other regional dealerships, however depending on the cost of the vehicle, is that difference worth the drive ? I would never have my vehicle serviced at somewhere I didn't buy it from, unless it was rather used. Another huge factor I have found with Billy Craft is their relationship with banks, and ability to get very competitive interest rates on loans. That really needs to be taken under consideration. Chris Davis will work for you to try to make the deal. Do your homework and know what you can afford to pay for the car TOTAL and PER MONTH. The price you are offered up front probably will be higher than several other dealerships, but I have found that Chris and Billy Craft managers will work with you. I wll tell you that Billy Craft is the only dealership I haven't walked away from a sale, so that says something. Opportunities: They don't like to do "perks", that is, where some other dealerships may offer free oil changes, extra warranties, and even one has offered me something as random as additional paint. Craft is very basic here. Now it is true that SOME of these "special incentives" are added into the price, but you have to be the judge for that yourself on an individual basis. I will add the Craft has gotten better about this. Over the last two years they have added free state inspections, and I heard not long before they sold me my car they were giving away gift cards. This is a good step forward. A lot of customers like little extra "perks". I wouldn't recommend asking about anything extra in your deal, as this can become confusing and a haggle later (like accessories, etc.). With Craft, it's best just to stick to the bottomline number until they come a little more into the 21st Century with this (just my opinion). This does not mean they are bad to deal with or dishonest, but they tend to stick more to the bread and butter: the offer on your car and what they will give you for the trade. So if you love extra incentives, they might come up short here, but give them an opportunity to make it up to you in the price if they can. Happy for Free State Inspections, though!

A friendly word of advice to all customers seeking service from Billy Craft Honda. When the service you request requires replacement parts to repair your vehicle do not attempt to supply the part (even though they will agree to install it) as in my experience they will not guarantee the labor if it is improperly installed and will not notify you if the part is not compatible. My advice as a dissatisfied customer to the Billy Craft team would be to make sure you verbally clarify what your policy is on the installation of a customer supplied non genuine Honda part before you do the job or do not allow that as an option at all. Along with this advice I would also like to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received from Kevin Habermas and his team when the job they attempted to do became an issue. Disrespectful rude and condescending describe how I felt I was treated by Kevin when I expressed my concerns to him and when I called Honda USA in the lobby (my 4th return trip to the dealership) he came out and asked me to leave the building. I have owned my 2000 Honda CR-V for 7 years and have been very happy with it. I have also had positive experiences in the past with service by Billy Craft Honda. What happened Billy? I have a non functioning vehicle with a possible damaged transmission and between the part the attempted repair and the towing I am out 500.00 dollars. the radiator installation was done so poorly that every time i hit a bump my radiator would move up and down to the point where it compromised the transmission fluid cooling line connected to the radiator. the transmission fluid line failed twice before I self diagnosed the problem. I was planning tp purchase my next vehicle at Billy Craft Honda and unfortunately after my recent experience with the Billy Craft service department I have decided that I no longer have confidence in purchasing a vehicle or having it serviced at Billy Craft Honda. I was looking for a particular model of a used car. I had two vehicles to trade and I live 5 hours away from the dealership. I spoke with the salesman (Ed Vest) before I started the drive and asked him if he could take two cars in on trade. He said that would be fine. When we finally got to the dealership the car we were looking at was very nice and we were willing to purchase it. The salesman informed me that the car was owned by a friend of the owner and he wasn't even sure if they had title to the car. Both of my cars are paid for. The sales man took two hours to put together a deal on the car and when he came back with the figures, they weren't even going to give me the trade in value of one car but they wanted both cars in the deal. My husband and I were completely offended by the offer. The sales manager, Kevin, who came into the office to talk about the difference in the trade in values was very rude, condescending, and arrogant towards both my husband and I. We drove a total of ten hours. If the sales man had just said, "You will get a better deal if you bring only one car in." That's what we would have done. They wasted an entire day for me and my family. Do not waste your time trading a vehicle with this dealership.

I have dealt with various people and places and I can honestly say never have I had such pleasant experience with the dealership itself and the salesperson. The warmth and hospitality there is undescribable and very good. Chris Davis is the salesperson for my family and never will you meet a more warm hospitable guy and one that will not shove a sale on you or be pushy and overbearing to make a sale... your satisfaction is his as well as the whole dealership's goal. Buying a car/truck at Billy Craft is like no other car buying experience I have ever had. I must say from the beginning to the end, it was basically hassle free. They took care of everything and made it happen. In the last year, my wife and I have bought two from here, a Honda CRV and a Nissan Frontier. Let me tell you they take care of you, take care of it all. Our salesperson at Billy Craft is Ed Vest and if there ever was an example of what a great car salesman should be, it would be Ed Vest. I would say he should be the example for all other sales people to follow. He knows his stuff and from beginning to end, no matter what situation comes up, he knows how to handle it. I am so thankful to him for the way he handled each of our buying experiences at Billy Craft. Ed is also very understanding and helpful during the whole process. He gave us follow up calls after each deal. He even went the extra mile and had us come back and showed us the features and how things worked on our cars. Again, we say thank you to Ed for handling everything. As far as the deal, we could not be happier. The words "rip off" were never used to describe a deal from Billy Craft. They give you what your trade is worth, and don't ask anymore than what a car is worth that you are buying. They don't take advantage in any way. I have made many car deals in my life, but must say Billy Craft does it with honesty. No tricks, no surprises. I especially can speak highly of Douglas Pendleton in that what he says, is how it is. He is very honest, clear and concise. Also, he is very speedy in the way he handled everything. Very efficient in his work. I feel he and Ed gave us the best deal out there in both instances. I purchased my brand new 2014 Honda Civic this past Friday and can not believe how incredible it is! I LOVE IT! I can't say enough good things about it! But beyond that - I can't say enough good things about my sales consultant, Kelly Howes either! I was sick and in the hospital for several days, but that did not stop Kelly and my family from negotiating the terms of the sale over the phone long distance for me. When I came out of the hospital all I had to do was drive my old car to Billy Craft, sign a few papers, and hop on in to my new one! Rickey Hamlet made sure we understood how everything in the car worked and what each thing was for and what to watch for like warning lights etc. Showed us how to set the things on the dash and how to work the radio, camera ,seat and steering wheel adjustments. Wipers, turn signals lights how things plugged in and what they did in the glove compartment. We didn't have any doubts or questions about the car or how to work everything a personable buying experience.

I had already decided that I wanted a CRV, but I wasn't impressed with the sales tactics of other dealers in my area. Via email, Ed Vest gave me all of the numbers I wanted. We also chatted on the phone. By far, Billy Craft had the best price. In addition, Ed had a no-pressure sales technique. That made buying from Billy Craft the only answer. I threw in a curve ball when I wanted to trade my vehicle at the last minute, but Ed and the sales manager, Justin Morgan, worked with me to make that happen. My daughter needed a reliable car as she is attending college 8 hours away. We had looked at both new and used cars but I believed that price could be an issue for a new car and it could push us toward finding a used car. I had decided that the Honda Civic was a good choice for my daughter. She and her boyfriend stopped to look at cars at Billy Craft one day and I went back with her several days later. I was dragging my feet as I was dreading the process of buying a car. My daughter had spoken with Kelly Howes previously and she just happened to meet us at the door for our unannounced visit. Kelly described the features of the car to us first. We then test drove a new 2014 Civic, returned to negotiate price, agreed on a price, paid for the vehicle, and I was back to work in roughly a 2 hour time window. I went to Billy Craft Honda on July 25th to see about trading in my car and finding a "new" one. When I entered the building I was greeted immediately by Kelly Howe, who ended up helping purchase my next vehicle! This was my first experience in doing a trade in and Kelly was very patient and helpful through the whole process. She answered all of my questions and when it came time to purchase my car, they handled everything for me from finding a good bank to finance my loan through to getting my information changed at the DMV and my insurance company. I was very impressed with the Customer Service Billy Craft Honda and Kelly provided! The only thing I was a little disappointed with is that they didn't allow for much negotiation on pricing. This was my first experience buying a Honda vehicle from any dealer and was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I went to Billy Craft Honda interested in researching a Honda Civic. Ken Roberts approached me and quickly began explaining the benefits of the car. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and took me to another lot to show me the car I had described to him. I was very impressed with the way Billy Craft Honda handled everything, even though I didn't by a Honda. I bought my wife an 05 Tahoe from Billy Craft. She fell in love with the car. We started experiencing trouble with the vehicle. I bought the truck as is and tried to take care of my responsibility as a customer to take care of the vehicle my self. When my salesman Ricky Hamlett heard of the problems. He immediately took over the process of trying to find out what was wrong with the car. No one knew what was wrong with the car. We started the process of maybe trying to buy another vehicle. Ricky started to show us other vehicles, but my wife wanted her Tahoe. We left the dealership uncertain, when was our Tahoe not going to start again. Ricky called me a few days later and told me they just had a vehicle come in I might want to look at. It was an 07 Denali, great condition, it had all the features my wife liked and more. I'm sure they felt bad about our situation, because I got a deal I could not possibly refuse! I just purchased a new 2014 Honda Odyssey from Billy Craft Honda. My old van died 4 days before my family was leaving for the beach. Despite the hurried nature of our purchase, the entire process was very smooth. Ed Vest was recommended to us by our family members and he was fantastic. I got a competitive price. He found the exact exterior and interior colors that I wanted in North Carolina and was able to send a driver to retrieve the car on a Friday afternoon. Other dealerships I had contacted would not search for a car not on their lot prior to placing a deposit. Ed searched and found my car first, letting me know what was available before I made a deposit. He had all the paperwork and financing ready for me the next day. He and the rest of the staff I dealt with were very knowledgeable and were not pushy in the least. Ed Vest was our salesman and did a wonderful job. My wife and I changed our minds a couple of times but Ed was very patient and agreeable, meeting with us and exploring options. In the end we found we got exactly what we wanted and needed. My hope is the service dept is every bit as easy to deal with.

My he must have been the best because we have never drove anything but a Ford are Chevrolet never would I thought of driving away with a Honda CR -V . Kevin is the best sales person I know. I went to the dealer to get a used car and he asked me what was my price range and the type of car I needed. While the car was getting repaired (engine, tires, body, etc.) he kept contact with me giving me periodic updates. I waited patiently knowing that Kevin will advocate for me. We were in the market for a new, mid-sized sedan and visited four dealerships in Lynchburg. We compared safety, reliability, gas mileage, features, and price among several models at each dealership. At Billy Craft Honda, Kelly Howes took the time to demonstrate features that distinguish models and trim levels, showed examples of all color combinations available to ensure that we knew exactly what we wanted then got it. Billy Craft Honda was the only one of the four dealerships to evaluate our trade on the spot. When picked up our Honda Accord EX sedan on Monday, we met with Business Manager, Douglas Pendleton, who handled the paperwork and ensured that we understood the service plans available and what might or might not be useful based on the way we use a car. We then met with Kelly, who ensured that we understood the features of our new car, syncing our cell phones with the car's bluetooth, stepping us through adding our favorite radio stations to the presets, etc. Since our purchase Kelly has followed up more than once to ensure that we are satisfied. Truly over the top.

The experience was very pleasant, and Luke did a great job of being personable, informative, and friendly. I did not feel or sense the frustration of a pushy salesman. And since we are both past our middle 80's, it takes us extra time to get it all straight. He answered all my questions, made sure all the bank doucument, tags, tittle forms and sales agreemnent were correct. I was real impressed with this dealership. Ed Vest worked with me on finding the best CRV for via internet sales. I live in Roanoke and wanted to find the right care first and then go to Lynchburg for my final decision and purchase. He helped me through this process splendedly. He answered all emails and phone calls promptly. After purchasing the CRV, he found a spot to park my old Jeep until I could bring someone back with me to pick it up. He even cleaned all the snow off of the my old vehicle after the big storm so that when I arrived it would be ready for me to take back to Roanoke. I purchased a 2012 Honda Pilot from Billy Craft Honda. I live Danville, Va so I will have to admit I was a little nervous! I found this car on their internet sales. My father who has owned his owned body shop for years dedcided to give them a call. He spoke to a salesman by the name of LUKE OKES. Luke was very friendly, honest, and knowledgable. We set up an appointment to meet with Luke that Saturday. When we arrived at Billy Craft Honda, Luke greeted us at the door with a smile and a handshake. We went inside to discuss a few things about the car. Luke anwsered all of our questions. He wasn't aggressive or pushy at all. We then went for a test drive. Luke worked very hard to get me the best deal for my car. I also traded my Honda CRV in that day an I felt that he gave me top $ on the trade. He even filled my car up with a free tank of gas!!! Now you just cant beat that!!!! A couple of days later after I got my car I had a problem with my spare key. I called Luke and he replaced the key free of charge. He even mailed the key back to me so I wouldn't have to make the one hour drive all the way back. I am very satisfied with my Honda Pilot. I will definatley choose Billy Craft Honda next time. I had a good experience at Billy Craft Honda. When I first visited the dealership to look for a car, I asked for the internet salesperson and I was introduced to Ed Vest. He was very cordial and helpful. I asked him for an out the door bottom line price and that is what he gave me. I was not ready to purchase a vehicle that day, and I told him I wanted to look at other dealerships for other cars. He checked back with me on occasion, but never worried me, which is one reason I went back to Billy Craft. In addition, I checked with other Honda dealerships and his price was very comparable to other dealerships. When I visited the dealership to purchase the car, I had a good experience. Mr. Vest was busy with a customer but made sure I did not have to wait long, and completed my transaction quickly. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

I just bought a new 2013 Honda Civic Ex from Billy Craft Honda, with the help of their Internet sales representative , Ed Vest. At the beginning I was decided to buy a Toyota Corolla 2014, since I already had one 2013 "S" before, that I had to replace because somebody hit it and made it a total loss one month before. Ed was very polite and did not give up sending me e-mails to set up an appointment. I got a couple of offers from Toyota, but I wanted to see what Honda has to offer. I was impressed with the good quality of the materials and the perfect shape of everything inside and outside the car. Ed was not pushy and gave me realistic good prices for 2 cars. I went to Toyota to see if I can get a better deal. The Toyota guy who gave me the previous quotes got nervous when I asked why none of the cars that I got acceptable offers for are not anymore there, than he made me talk with a new salesman, young, aggressive, and without too much knowledge. I went inside the car that looked the most attractive, and I liked the electronic equipment that they added, but I did not like the KIA shape of the car, nor the cheap materials used inside. In plus they tried to make me pay more for a car that I was not sure I wanted it, ignoring the past offers that I got from them 3 days before for better car styles. I called Ed from Honda again, and he was ready to start over and even accepted to improve the offer a little bit. I never saw somebody so nice and patient, very knowledgeable and easy going. After I got in the Civic Ex I was very surprised to find that Honda has the same electronic features that the others added only now, some of them even better.

I had a fantastic experience at Billy, my interactions were primarily with Ed and Allen and I can bet my dealing with them was smooth I had recently moved to lynchburg and getting a new car with any other dealer would have been painful however Ed was proficient that majority of my interaction happened over the phone and email, I just had to go to the dealership twice, once I went for the test drive and the second time to take the delivery of the cars..... The experience was so good that I ended up buying two cars CRV and Accord. I have owned a 1997 Honda Accord for the past 16 years. It has been an excellent vehicle. I recently purchased a 2013 Honda Civic from Billy Craft Honda. Ed Vest was excellent to work with. I recently purchased my first new car from Billy craft Honda. I am forty two and have always purchased used. I was having some problems with the car I had so I drove into the store to see what they had to offer. I talked to Allen Addair about a few used cars when he suggested I look at a new car. I was worried that it would cost too much but I went along.. Allen and the team were awesome; they not only put me in a great car, they helped me get my payments low enough so that I could keep my toy.. My motorcycle!! I excepted buying a car would be filled with disappointment and pressure but it ended up being a great experience. I would recommend Allen and Billy Craft Honda to everyone looking to find a new car. I have just purchased my first vehicle from Billy Craft Honda. If I had known what I know now I would have purchased all my hondas from there. I drove from Roanoke, VA not knowing what to expect but was hoping for the best, Ed Vest and Kelly Howes made my buying experience simply wonderful. Ed was busy with another customer when I arrived, but he got Kelly to start the process. She was very helpfull and very patient with all my questions. All in all this is the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a car. I felt like I was more than a number, that my business was really appreciated. I just purchased my second car from Billy Craft Honda in the past three months. Both times I had the good fortune to have Ed Vest at the helm to direct my purchases. I told him I wanted a good deal in a short time.....both times he came through for us. I pride myself on being the worst car buyer in history, but Ed Vest has changed that for me. If you had told me I could buy a car in less than an hour, with no surprises, and find everything told to me as is, I would have told you impossible. Wow - great experience. I started my search for a new Honda Odyssey through the internet sales department. Ed was great, had all our paper work ready before I even set foot in the dealership. I ended up having to wait almost a month to confirm the deal and when I did, all my paperwork had to be resubmitted. BUT I got an even better deal! Walked in, went straight to the Business Manager - signed the papers, got the vehicle tour and was done in an hour and 15 minutes! Billy Craft Honda and Ed made this a great no hassle experience.

My wife and I have bought many cars in the past, but never so easily and quickly as at Billy Craft Honda. Our salesman, Ed and the managing staff were quick to answer all of our questions and do what ever necessary to earn our business and trust. So often you go to a dealer and the very second you've signed, you are out the door and yesterday's news. That is far from the case at Billy Craft, they found an extra key a day later and did some research on my used vans warranty to make sure I was completely taken care of. Above all, the one thing that impressed me the most, was meeting the owner. It is very apparent that he takes a very keen interest in his customers, and he took the time to introduce himself to me and others, and thank us for the business. We just traded a 2003 odyssey for a new 2013 Odyssey. This was not the time we wanted to trade but the old van just gave out. We met with Kelly Howe and she helped us to secure the right van for us. We told the dealership what our monthly payments needed to be and thy met our figures. The price was right and the price for the trade was more than we exected. The sales staff could not have been nicer. Kelly went over everything on the van and answered any questions. We are well pleased with our new van. We will be shopping for another vehicle next year to replace a 1999 Accord and we will talk with Craft first. Thanks to the entire staff for the help. We do recommend he service dept. as excellent whenever you need anything done to you cars.

Ed Vest is the man, simply put. Great experience with this dealership. Straight forward style, very detail oriented and in the business for all of the right reasons. The entire staff took their time to make sure my wife and I were well educated on the buying process and just exactly what we were getting. What I like most about this dealership is they are respectful and straight forward people. What you see is what you get and their aren't any gimmicks. If you are in the market for a new car, I'd recommend dealing with the internet sales team and see what they can offer, we did and were pleasantly surprised. In 2004 I purchased my Honda CRV from Billy Craft, and drove it 10 years (minus 2 months) and had over 176K miles on it. I started researching and looking for another CRV a couple of months ago. Decided to purchase a 2013 CRV EX on July 3rd. I have recommended Hondas and Billy Craft since 04 and my recent purchase did nothing to change my recommendations. My salesperson, Kelly Howes, was amazing to work with: She knew exactly when to be there for me to ask questions and to back away for me to check out the car on my own. It seemed that her main goal was to get me the best deal possible. I am looking forward to this car lasting 10 years and coming back to Billy Craft to buy another one in 2022 or '23. In the meantime, I will continue to bring my car in for service at the "top-notch" service department at Billy Craft Honda.

I needed a car that would provide better fuel mileage and room, as well as good safety ratings. I began my search and the Honda Accord seemed to fit the bill. I emailed Billy Craft Honda and received a call from Ed Vest. Mr. Vest as well as the rest of the Billy Craft staff I worked with made my car buying experience one of the smoothest I have ever had. The staff were super friendly, patient and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer my questions and concerns without rushing through the process. I left there feeling 100% satisfied that I had made the right choices 1) on the Accord and 2) by dealing with Billy Craft Honda. I would recommend both to anyone in the market for a new car!

We needed a replacement when our old Odyssey was totaled. We loved that van and then it did a great job protecting my husband when he was rearended and pushed in to another car by a huge SUV. We wanted the same thing, and this was the only local place with a similar van for sale, just in from a trade in. This coincided with the week before a tax increase, so the salespeople were super busy and the responses we got from the first one were incomplete although he did find us the van before it even got detailed and provided Carfax service records that were impressively detailed. We went in for a test drive and the second salesman had us a bottom line price in hand immediately and a negotiated price quickly. Then no pressure. After we looked around some more we realized for this high demand vehicle we would have to travel to NC to get similar for cheaper so we decided to buy local. It might have cost us more but there were some nice bonuses and we use the service department so free state inspections is a nice one. I hate shopping for cars but we needed a replacement quickly and they helped us get that taken care of and behind us.
