This was my first purchase of a Hyundai. Went into dealership wanting a Veloster, but open to looking at other models. Cory Kandare came out to introduce himself in the parking lot, as my husband and I searched for the Velosters. From the beginning, Cory did not try to push me into purchasing a vehicle. He just answered my questions and showed me other options when I asked for his suggestions. He was very polite and helpful. And I do believe Cory helped me get the best deal I could have gotten anywhere else. He even offered to come in on his day off to close the deal. My husband and I had brought our Mazda cx-9 in for a recall. The service department had found a few other things wrong with the vehicle. We talked about a few things and decided to look around. That is when Ed introduced himself. My husband really liked the 2016 Mazda cx-9. Ed gave us all the information about the cx-9. I however, didn't really care for it. I really liked the 2016 cx-5. Again, Ed gave us more information on this vehicle. We were looking at a red with gray/black rims. I said to Ed, "If you had this exact one, but only in white...that is what I'd want." Needless to say, Ed went to their upper parking lot and came down with the exact one I wanted! The 3 of us went on a test drive. He explained all about the engine and the functions. I loved it!!! When we got back to the dealership, my husband decided to see what numbers they could come up with. Ed brought us the information about the payment, APR and trade in. We told him what we needed our payments to be at. A little while later, he came back with the finance information. It all worked out perfectly. We went in and signed some papers. Ed was right there waiting for us when we finished up. He helped us move everything over from our old car to our new one. Then, we all 3 got into the car and he explained every little detail and made sure we understood all of it. He is very knowledgeable. He took his time, answered all of our questions. He never made us feel like we were wasting his time. Most importantly, he was never "pushy". The entire dealership was very friendly. They made you feel welcomed. I must say, we've never had a better experience buying a car from anyone else before. Ed was with us right from the start until the very end. With all that being said, if you're looking for a new/used vehicle, stop in and be sure to ask for Ed Brown! He truly is EXCEPTIONAL!!!

Could not make a decision so waited til this year (2016) and checked out lots of dealers and cars. I went back to Blaise Alexander in State College and found Jon again. He was very patient and we chatted about what I was looking for in a vehicle. I wanted a backup camera, red and comfortable fit. We discussed my budget since I'm retired on a limited income. Jon's first suggestion was a perfect fit for me, a 2017 Elantra. It has a comfortable ride, not choppy, perfect color and has the backup camera that I was interested in. I bought a used car on a Saturday for my daughter and paid for it with a couple of checks rather than take out a loan. The salesman said to come back on Monday ---but they then told us it would take ten days for the checks to clear. I have a credit score of 850 and have never been treated this way. The checks were deducted from my account after only two days---why did it take 10? Furthermore, the car had been driven during this time even though it had my daughter's plates on the car. They then gave us a car with a nearly an empty tank of gas. You can bet, I'll give them great recommendations.

I'm going to be honest, there were a few bumps in the contract signing process that initially made me post a negative review. However, the Manager and sales team not only owned up to it, but more importantly took the time to explain it to me and truly made me feel good about the whole process. The bumps were caused by computer error. Unfortunate, but it happens sometimes. Buying a car is such an expensive committment so it's easy for what might seem like a minor mistake or mishandling to get out of hand. After explaining it to me the team was more than willing to make it good. So while it was a rollercoaster, it turned out well in the end. I would go back again for my next Mazda.

I recently purchased a 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata from Blaise Alexander. The buying process was satisfactory: The car was waiting for me when I arrived; I paid what I expected; and I received the full agreed-to-price for my trade-in. This are my issues: The service dept. obviously did not complete a PDI (pre-delivery inspection) as the tires were inflated to 41 PSI, instead of 29, and the the rubber drain plugs were not inserted in the undercarriage as they should have been. The salesman, Jon Hummel, was not very familiar with this model. He filled the gas tank with regular fuel instead of premium. He told me the car had run-flat tires when it does not. He didn't know if the car had a GPS outlet or where it was. He said there was no break-in period when there is. He transferred the metal license plates from my trade-in vehicle to the new vehicle when he should have attached temporary cardboard ones. I was driving around with illegal tags on my car for 18 days until the proper temporary tags arrived in the mail. The finance manager, Joseph Giardino, completed the required paperwork, but when I thought I was overcharged on state sale tax, and emailed him the next day, he did not respond. It took another email and two phone calls over a 28 day period before he finally called me back. He said that I would be getting a $30 refund, but the check never arrived. Terrible customer service! The general manager, John Broome, would not respond to two of my emails which I sent to him to discuss some of my concerns. Terrible customer service! The car I purchased is great! This dealership did not meet my expectations. Customer service should not end when the customer drives his purchase off the lot!

The salesman Luke Cimbala did a great job! He met with us a few times and was very helpful explaining and demonstrating the various features of the Mazda CX-5. They were able to locate a CX-5 in one day and have it delivered to their facility the next day. Finalizing the deal was easy and the finance staff was very helpful. We had a small service performed on the vehicle after purchase. It was completed promptly and the service staff were very cooperative and informative. I was impressed with the entire staff's friendliness and willingness to help no matter how simple the request was.

My girlfriend and I were looking to trade in her 2005 Subaru Baja, for a Mazda 3 they had, which we had seen online. The salesperson was friendly enough, to be sure, but, in the end, they wouldn't give her even close to what she wanted in trade, for her Subaru, and wouldn't come down on the price of the Mazda. We were confronted with a "take it, or leave it" attitude and we left with the feeling we were being talked down to. We did end up buying a Mazda 3 from a dealership in Burnham, who, granted, gave her book value for her Baja, but, also came down on the asking price for the Mazda, giving her the approximate equivalent of what she wanted for her Baja, a deal which didn't occur to the dealership that "takes deals the other guys won't."

They quickly transported the vehicle I was interested in to the local dealership and was able to easily accommodate my schedule. Cory provided excellent service in setting up the test drive, handling paperwork and processing all the necessary information, in fact getting me a better rate than even they expected. Matt was highly effective and efficient, and quite personable in detailing all aspects of the purchasing agreement and post-purchase paperwork. This review has a couple of parts. Two years ago we bought a new Hyunda Sonata here. Initially we weren't able to work out our best deal, but true to their word, if you can find a better deal somewhere else they'll match it. We were able to get the deal we wanted on the car we wanted and didn't have to drive out of the area to get it. We also noticed some strange issues with the bluetooth/radio system when making phone calls while driving the Sonata (prior to buying). We wanted the car but we weren't comfortable buying it until they were able to figure out the problem. The GM John Broome basically told us he knew we wanted to buy the car and they would figure out the issue even if it meant replacing the entire head unit. He told us we didn't have to sign the paperwork until we were satisfied the problem was resolved. It was an awesome customer service experience and in the end we got the car we wanted and haven't had a single recurrence of the issues we noticed while testing it out. Recently we were in the market for a used vehicle and I had the opportunity to work with Luke. I had worked out a deal with another area dealership for a 2013 Traverse. Blaise Alexander had a similar Traverse on one of their other lots outside of our area but it was priced somewhat higher than the one I had been looking at. Having not even seen my trade-in vehicle yet, Luke called to tell me they would match the other deal I had for the same vehicle. As it turned out, we found another Traverse that had some additional features we liked at ANOTHER Alexander dealership in town and ended up getting it instead, but I can't stress enough how good these guys are to work with. I won't hesitate at all to return to Blaise Alexander in the future. I also want to say that the customer service in the service department has been wonderful as well. I continue to take our Sonata there for its routine maintenance and the folks in the service department are always very courteous and helpful.

The dealership is very friendly and was easy to deal with. The only thing I am slightly disappointed in is that they cannot locate the 2nd key, although they are willing to have one made. In addition, the original owner left some original parts and collectible stuff to be sold with the car. One of those items appears to be missing as well.

This dealer has both Mazda and Hyundai and allowed me to compare the two models I was interested in side-by-side. I picked the Hyundai Sonata Ltd over the Mazda 6 and couldn't be happier. They worked with me on my trade AND the price of the new car and treated me more than fair. Kristi, the internet person was on top of everything and helped me with communicating with the sales person and the manager while I was home "thinking about" the deal. Note this dealer is more than an hour from my home and was worth the drive!!
