The whole experience was simply and easy. Like dealing with a good friend. Honest and old fashion customer service, something most dealerships sadly lack. Every person I dealt with was extremly nice. Trevor was respectful of my time and made the whole process an absolute pleasure.

I have an extended warranty from a major insurer on my car and came to them to repair a severe oil leak. It was my first time at Darien BMW and WILL BE MY LAST TIME COMING HERE. I always had my car serviced at Port Chester BMW or Westchester BMW and never had issues with my extended warranty paying for repairs. The service advisor at Darien BMW refused to work with my insurance company because he was saying that they weren't willing to pay his prices and he won't fix my car for the price they are willing to pay. The insurance company said they will not pay over the mechanics guide that they use to estimate repair cost. The dealership and my insurance company were at an impasse so the dealer said I need to pickup my car because there is nothing they can do. Since the car wasn't driveable I asked if it could be towed for FREE to my regular dealership but BMW of Darien refused.I contacted my insurance and they offered to pay towing to my regular dealership and got my car towed to BMW of Greenwich/Port Chester because the car wasn't driveable. Port Chester BMW repaired the car in a few days and worked with my extended warranty as they usually do to pay for the repair. It was a great experience at Port Chester BMW but I can't say any kind words about BMW of Darien.This whole repair was such a royal headache and stressful experience for me that I would never come back to BMW of Darien again. I would have perhaps tolerated this kind of a hassle from a mainstream brand but not from a luxury brand like BMW.

I brought my car to the dealer because he "emissions" light was on. They diagnosed the problem as being "rodent damage"! Since the cost was high, they advised me to call the insurance. They fixed the problem in a week. They also lend me a rental car because I had purchased my car there. The whole process was smooth and my car is running perfectly. Marc, who was my contact at BMW was very helpful and kept me informed of the progress.

Although I lied in a BMW survey about my experience as a courtesy to my sales rep and a previous one here, I thought I should update so everyone knows the real experience. I was told the total down required is 7200, I was approved for 5500 down at other dealers prior but decided not to proceed for various reasons. The down payment amount shifted from 7200 to 5500 down, they claim they hit a wrong key, which happened twice...I put a total of 7200 down, still not sure where the difference went as again, I was approved prior with 5500 down. Although they got the approval extended, which they could have easily done for anyone, this still seems shady. At tine of delivery, I was charged for some interior protection which I did not request, this added on to payment. Due to some past due property taxes, I was unable to get vehicle registered, its still in their storage. They initially claimed this was no problem, holding car for an extended time, I recently got a call from Anthony Martinez asking when car would be out and to remove a prior negative review, which I did as a courtesy. However, I recently received a follow up email from one of their third party companies asking for yet another review. As you can see, they like to harass their customers for positive reviews and shift their stories around. I gave a very positive BMW review as a courtesy to my sales rep, which I now regret..

Beverly Clarke is polished and professional. She worked to understand & address my vehicle needs, making sure that all my questions were properly addressed. She even stood outside with me holding paint samples, so that I could envision how the car would look. I looked long and hard at Audi (not going to wait months to have the car I wanted built) and Mercedes (ultra rude salesman). I ordered my X5 exactly as I wanted it & it was delivered in 3 weeks!!I'm convinced that I purchased the best car (at a very good price) from a dealership that treated me with respect. I'll be back to see Beverly for my next car!

I made a 2:20 PM afternoon appointment to have one item checked. The service advisor informed me I was due for regular maintenance items that were covered under my cars warranty period. They changed spark plugs, brake fluid, oil, cabin air filter all while I waited in comfortable lounge. Excellent experience. Never thought they would be able to do it that afternoon. My only issue is with the BMW CBS condition based service indicator in the vehicle not providing anything better than estimated time for service. A GM car my wife had provided a % of oil life remaining.

I looked over 5 different bmw dealers in ct and in NY, and i have to say that my experience with BMW of Darien, specially with Trevor, was really a great experience. Other dealers just cared about pushing the sale and calling you non stop, or they just won't follow up with my request or at least actively involved in finding a solution. By no mean, they tried to push me a car from their inventory, they help find what i wanted, and made it hapen. And actually, bought my leased car, with a better price than anyone on the street; what else can you ask, they solve all my problems.Lastly, i work in NY with very little time to visit the dealer or even talk on the phone, they adapted to may needs, and dealt 90% of the work over mail, which was an unique experience to me and mainly suitable for me.The best experience so far with a dealer, and also, everything they told me the car would do, actually, is even better.Strongly recommend and trustworthy.

He took car of all my needs and has patience to inform. Russ in parts goes way out of his way to take care of all. Anthony Martinez, business manager went out of his way on my wife's new X3 a month ago. There was a problem with the trade title-not a BMW and he remedied the situation in about 20 minutes rather than the other company said about 3-5 days. You must gp to BMW of Darien. You will be happily satisfied.

My car needed brake fluid, so I dropped it off for service. I was greeted entering the building and immediately introduced to my service advisor. He looked at my car's info and said they would also do an oil change, new wipers, etc. - all covered under the maintenance plan. I asked a few questions about extending the maintenance and/or warranty - he gave me pricing to consider and didn't push anything on me, Our conversation lasted about five minutes, and when we finished, the shuttle was there to take me back to work. That afternoon, the shuttle picked me up right on time to return to pick up my car. It was washed and ready to go. The women at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Total time at BMW = less than 10 minutes. I bought my car at this location but have since moved to NJ. I still return for all service because I trust them.

I recently relocated to Connecticut from New York City. After 10 years and two cars (X3 and X5) I always had horrible service there. I took my car to BMW in Darien. All I can say is that I am extremely happy. I had a misfired cylinder on my 2013 X5. The dealer in NY kept ignoring my calls as always. The car was sluggish and had a poor mpg. Darien took the time to correct the issue and the car runs smoother than ever and I gained almost 2 mpg

I was greeted quickly and they told me it would take approximately 1 hr 30 minutes to put on a new tire. I returned almost 2 hrs later and it still wasn't ready...actually they had only just called the insurance company to make sure they would pay for it (which they did because I had tire insurance). Having to wait another 1 hr, while trying to entertain two small children wasn't pleasant. If they had told me 2.5 hrs to begin with I would have been prepared for that. A little frustrating!

My sales person, Claus Hattasch listened to me and made great suggestions as I was considering different models and options. When I picked up the car, Claus spent lots of time going over the car with me and explaining how the car options work. The financial transaction was easy, the paper work was organized, explained and completed in a short amount of time. I would be happy to send friends to this dealership!

The staff felt very customer oriented and willing to work with me on any concerns I had about my purchase. They went out of their way to make me feel like I was buying a new car which I very much appreciated. I thought everyone was very fair and straight forward through the whole process and even though I wasn't buying an expensive car, I never once felt like an afterthought to their sales department which I think speaks a great deal about their customer service. The experience i've had at this dealership is top of the best. i have bought over 40 new cars in my life. as soon as you walk in and greeting you feel good. you are treated with courtesy and respect by EVERY employee. i will tell everyone i know, this is the place. Don Doria in sales is top of the mark. Knowledgable, patient and quite nice. Anthony Martinez, in finance is at the top of the mark as well. You cannot go wrong and will probably have the greatest car buying experience of your life, no matter your age.

I had been looking for a 5 series wagon, 2010. We are wagon people. One popped up on their website so I called and spoke to Beverly. I told her I would be driving from New Haven and that I would be there in an hour. It actually took two because of the snow and a late start. When I arrived, the car was RUNNING, WARM, and CLEAN. Beverly was no nonsense and easy to get along with. On the test drive I was distracted and missed the exit. No big deal. While I was driving the wagon, they appraised my trade in and after maybe 20 minutes of haggling, we had a deal. I know I would lose money on my trade, but they did better than the national Goliath and took something off the new car too. I think most buyers go into a dealership knowing exactly what they want and don't need a long winded explanation of all the great features the car has. This is the internet age. Maybe the over 70 crowd needs that, but the rest of the population has their mind made up when they walk in the door. If the numbers work, and its time to buy, the deal gets done. Beverly was fantastic. Through intuition she deduced a) that I have kids (booster seat) and b) that I don't have a good umbrella (broken umbrella in back seat of my trade in). So, she brought me a box with a new umbrella and a nice plush teddy bear, and even gave me a set of rubberized winter floor mats. She told me to go next door and have some lunch while they drafted the paperwork and shortly after I returned, everything was signed with the finance guy and I was on my way home. Beverly was the highlight of my visit. She took me seriously and delivered. In my search for a vehicle, I have been to no fewer than 6 BMW and Mercedes dealerships and was barely spoken to at any of them. I don't know if its my age or my appearance, but no one seems to think I can afford a car. That's fine. When I found a salesperson that did take me seriously, I repaid her respect by buying from her without really haggling over a few dollars. The finance guy was a little brusque and showed no consideration for his fellow employee who made the sale.

My partner and I have dealt with many car salespersons in the past, and Beverly Clarke was by far the best we've ever dealt with. The entire experience -- over the course of a couple of weeks -- Beverly was responsive and reachable. We knew what kind of BMW we wanted but Beverly helped us understand all aspects of our choice as well as examples in different classes that had some of the things we wanted. Very knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. We when we actually bought the vehicle and signed all the papers she was multi-tasking with another customer -- but you couldn't tell. Excellent experience.

I have dealt with lots of car guys over the years but have never met anyone with more class, integrity and honesty than Bobby Kaufman - That's why I have been with him now for my last 3 cars and counting. I'd follow him anywhere, he's a pro and in a league of his own when it comes to car salesman. Simply put, buying from Bobby will be the easiest "big ticket" transaction of your life. BMW Darien is lucky to have him. Being that this latest car was my first purchase at BMW of Darien, I had not met Anthony until this most recent deal, he too is a great pro - personable, knowledgeable and genuine. Informative, no pressure explanation of options and offerings that made me comfortable during the entire process.

Bobby Kaufman was the best person to work with to buy a new car. He was extremely efficient with my time during the sales process. After we negotiated the price, he got my car, had everything ready upon pickup and did not waste my time. He was very transparent and honest when it came to pricing. I am shocked that I had such a great experience buying a new car given my past history over the years. I also had an unpleasant experience with the sales tactics at Greenwich BMW. Because of the positive experience I had with him, I will not be going anywhere else when it is time for a new car. I would HIGHLY recommend BMW Darien and ask for Bobby. He is the best.

This review is far overdue. Tim Haines is excellent. I have dealt with Tim on two acquisitions and a trade-in. In each case I felt completely confident he worked with me as well as he could to secure a favorable pricing. He's honest, earnest, knowledgeable, professional and very personable. I don't need to shop around with other dealers to trust that I am getting the best value possible. Given the choice, I would only ever work with Tim. As for services ... as I was writing this message I was on the phone with the dealership looking to schedule a service appointment, which they provided the next morning, with a loaner. That cannot be beat..

He made every step easy and understandable.During our Q&A session (two weeks after we received the car), we noted a problem with the window mechanism. I am writing this review on behalf of Barbara Reiniger [Motoring Advisor MINI of Fairfield County] and Alex Posada from [BMW of Darien]. Barbara was exceptional in all aspects of her service. Shes 100% the reason that I recently purchased my 2011 BMW 328XI at Mini. She got the car for me, did all of the paperwork, helped me get insurance, got me to the finance people, took me through the ins and outs of the actual automobile, and more. She even personally dropped the license plates off at my house. Barbara was extremely patient with me & extremely helpful when I had a million questions. When I could NOT activate the universal garage door opener, despite following all of the steps in the manual verbatim, Barbara referred me to Alex Posada. Alex agreed to come over to my house, sat in the car with me and he got the garage door opener working [which was huge]. Alex also gave me all sorts of useful tips about the cars many features. The only other car Ive ever owned is a 1986 VW. So, you can imagine how clueless I was in this loaded 2011 BMW. Alex was a tremendous help and I appreciate him taking the time out of his crazy schedule to come to my home. And I have Barbara to thank for connecting me to Alex. What an enjoyable and professional experience. My wife and I were looking to lease our first car together. We visited a couple of dealerships and nowhere came close to the experience we had with Bobby and the team. Unlike other dealerships, we felt like Bobby was being honest, transparent and fair from the start. He had a job to do of course but he came across as authentically interested in, and caring about, what was a best for us. When we came back to pick up the car, Anthony was similarly outgoing, thoughtful to what was best for us, and great to work with. Working with Bobby and Alex was very pleasant. The car we were interested in from the online inventory (a 128i convertible) turned out to be not available, but Bobby found us a new CPO car that was just coming in to the program and much nicer than the original we'd been thinking about, and offered it to us for a good price. He was very easy to deal with and accommodating. When the car arrived about a week later, we test drove with Alex and he showed us all the features of the car - he was very knowledgeable and got everything setup. We saw him again a couple weeks later and he again answered our few remaining questions very professionally. If there was a negative, it's only that the dealership was very busy on the days we were there and we had to wait around a bit. But overall, a very positive experience.

We were pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the sales process. It was all about making sure we understood our options and listening to what we wanted. Don is a real pro. He even helped us track the build of our new BMW in Germany and how to track it as the ship crossed the Atlantic. We ending up buying almost all of the options available, so the first few weeks of ownership were ones in which we continued to learn -- adaptive cruise control, self parking, adaptive lighting, iPhone integration..... Don had done a great job making us feel comfortable with all of the electronic options, but there is only so much a new owner can retain. After a month we scheduled an appointment with Alex from the dealers "BMW Genius Bar". By then we had explored enough to know what we couldn't figure out by ourselves. (Darien BMW also filled the gas tank, washed the car and gave us a coupon for options etc.) Alex taught us even more than we were expecting. He not only knew his stuff, but was able to communicate clearly and effectively. We loved the car before meeting with Alex and love it even more now. We tried out several of the options he explained in the drive home.

I've had recent experiences with Service, Sales, and Finance recently, and all were excellent. I was able to schedule a timely service, get a loaner for the service period, and be in regular contact on the status of my vehicle's repairs. Every communication was timely and crystal clear. When I quickly came into the market for a new car, but couldn't take time during the week to visit the showroom, I was able share what I was looking for, discuss the best options for me, review and ultimately select a potential vehicle, and begin the financial processing completely electronically. The visit to the dealership to pick up my car was quick, pleasant, and friendly. I truly see no need to visit any other dealership for service or sales in the future.

BMW Of Darien Started and drove a vehicle with no engine oil and a loose driveshaft and said "it doesn't matter" that its fine to drive a vehicle with no oil and a loose driveshaft just hanging around. I recently had the bad experience of having my vehicle towed to BMW of Darien after my Driveshaft got loose and damaged the engine oil pan causing all the oil to leak. After informing the service tech what went wrong with the vehicle it took them more than two weeks to decide that BMW of Darien wasn't going to cover the claim since an independent shop had previously work on the vehicle (issue that wasn't even related) but they did quote me $11,000 to repair the damage only to take it back and say it was ONLY going to be $5,500once I finally got my vehicle back I took a look at the dash cam video. I showed Charles Dimartini the video and he said that the vehicle was pushed and there was no way that BMW for Darien would purposely drive my vehicle with no engine oil and a loose draft shaft. Charles even said he had question personnel separately and they did not recall the vehicle being started or driven.I had get in contact with the General manager to get to the bottom of this. once I spoke to Matt Cosgrove, Matt stated that the vehicle was in fact Started and Driven around the lot but it did not matter. Matt said that he was not responsible for anything that Charles DiMartini said and that it didn't matter that the vehicle was started and driven with no engine oil and loose drive shaft. Matt basically said no damage could come from driving a vehicle with no engine oil and a loose drive shaft and they were not responsible for any damages that might have occur.

I am searching for a slightly used 3 series convertible and had a great experience with Robert Kaufman at BMW of Darien. I walked in cold, and cautiously as I generally dont have good experiences with car salespeople. Robert is different. Straightforward, knowledgeable and honest about things he could have tried to gloss over, and not at all pushy. He educated me on some issues I thought I understood but did not, and had some good advice on buying a used car in general. I will be buying the car based on where I find what I am looking for, but I hope I find it here because this is the kind of guy I want to do business with. BTW-I am a professional sales trainer so have some context in which I make this recommendation.

He understands that it takes time to make a decision but is always there to find all the information you could ask for. Leased brand new 528xi 2013 -sales experience perfect. Sebastian is great.Service is completely worst. Car has serious engine problem and stalls all the tome witn 6800 miles. Service Manager called me back after many hours telling me I will need to wait 3 weeks for appointment with loaner. Told him unacceptable ,, he told me too bad.Now I don't know how a $60k car can have such a problem as serious as this, but where there is smoke there is fire. It prompted me to do some digging and did read some serious recalls on edmunds for BMW recent model years and engine bolts becoming loose causing serious engone issues.I suspect the dealer knows and simply because I am middle class and dont have 10 of these cars like every other stepford wife in this town and investment banker husband, he of course does bot want to assist me at all since i wont be paying him a christmas bonus annually.3 weeks to secure a loaner? Really hiw dumb do a look? for a 60$ k car that wont start and dies for no reason kess a year old?

My wife and I searched the tri-state area for a nice and affordable 4WD vehicle. We came across a great car on the BMW of Darien web-site. Convincing ourselves that the first car we looked at could not have been the best deal in the area, we kept searching. Our conclusion was that the deal we found at the BMW of Darien was by far the best around. We went in twice to look at the vehicle. Beverly Clarke was excellent answering all of our questions. She was never pushy and was great to communicate with via e-mail even after hours!Al Ewert was equally great settling on a price and Anthony Martinez made the paper work a synch.The entire team was great. I am confident that we were sold a great car that fit our price range and that we were provided with all the necessary facts to make our decision.

Exceptional professionalism is how I would describe Claus and is the reason why I have returned to him for my recent purchase. His style is patient and through, very customer focused - with a genuine interest to ensure that I have every bit of information and take all the time I need to make a decision. From the first day I met Claus, I always felt that he made time for me and that I am an important customer. More importantly, I feel that I can trust him , that he is very transparent and a wonderful communicator. Our second CPO BMW X5 purchase from BMW of Darien was a first-class experience. Our sales advisor (and I choose this word intentionally), Steve Kozlowski, is a pleasure to work with. Steve takes the time to understand your objectives and works as your agent to secure the right car at the right price. In our case, a low-mieage X5. He knew the previous owner and made sure we understood how awesome an opportunity it was to acquire a well cared-for car at a fair price. When you buy CPO from a BMW dealer, you should expect to pay a retail price... and we paid a "fair to both parties" retail price. But the value was all there. Our second CPO BMW X5 purchase from BMW of Darien was a first-class experience. Our sales advisor (and I choose this word intentionally), Steve Kozlowski, is a pleasure to work with. Steve takes the time to understand your objectives and works as your agent to secure the right car at the right price. In our case, a low-mieage X5. He knew the previous owner and made sure we understood how awesome an opportunity it was to acquire a well cared-for car at a fair price. When you buy CPO from a BMW dealer, you should expect to pay a retail price... and we paid a "fair to both parties" retail price. But the value was all there. Even though I live in Greenwich, I'm glad I took the time to visit BMW of Darien. Sales Associate Beverly Clarke found me an X1 that had the options I was looking for all the way down in Georgia. However, when we were unable to locate that vehicle, business manager Anthony Martinez found a better-equipped X1 locally and matched the same price! Beverly Clarke was a pleasure to deal with - she quickly got me the best price with the least amount of hassle. Not only did Bev follow-up through e-mails and phone calls, she also took the time to show me the in's and out's of my X1 even after the paperwork was completed. Business manager Anthony Martinez was wonderful to work with. He provided me no-nonsense numbers that were easy to understand and relate to. Anthony also took care to explain the terms and conditions of the lease documents in thorough detail with no pressure to have the customer hastily sign anything. I would highly recommend seeing Anthony for all your lease or financing questions. I was carefully guided throughout the entire sales process without any of the judgment or condescension of other luxury car dealerships. The modern dealership is housed in a beautiful building conveniently located off the side of I-95 with an attached service center. Beverly Clarke sets a new bar for auto sales professionals - she is in a category of one in comparison to my experience with several local auto dealers and purchase of several vehicles over the years. She is extremely competent, honest and professional. I traveled from Long Island to purchased a pre-owned vehicle from BMW of Darien. Beverly Clarke was my salesperson and from the initial phone call to the close of the sale I truly felt as though she and her associates had my best interest as their primary objective. In fact subsequent to the sale I needed assistance with an accessory for the vehicle and here to their service exceeded by far my expectations. Without a doubt I will be back to BMW of Darien for my next car and will certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a BMW.

We went there thinking about leasing a new BMW 335ix. Before we came, we called and told them what we were looking for. After we arrived, we tested drive a 335 coupe. But after that, we found out the dealer doesn't have the car we were looking for so I felt time was wasted. However, the salesperson did work diligently showing us the cars we are interested in.[***Update**] After I complained, the dealer called and emailed me multiple times to apologize sincerely and explained to me that it was probably some miss-communication. I am happy with their response.

Having patiently waited 4 months for my new BMW, I experienced poor customer service, a lack of respect for my time, poor operations, lack of communications among Darien BMW's staff and rude behavior at pick up. I had had a bad experience with arrogance and poor service at BMW of Darien in the past. I decided to give them another try.Bad choice on my part. Having bought BMW's for over 34 years in many parts of the country, I am quite experienced at purchasing BMWs as well as good customer service from quality dealerships. Based on my recent experience, I cancelled my purchase at BMW of Darien and will go elsewhere. I am still waiting to receive word on a refund of my deposit.Mr. Martinez was confrontational, rude and condescending to me. I would not recommend working with him in any capacity.

i live in maine and have never visited the dealership personally..but was in search of a certified 750 bmw...i spoke with steve kozlowski when i called the dealership and felt very comfortable with both his knowledge and professionalism...we have a bmw dealership 5 miles from my house that had a similar 750 and a dealership 50 miles away in New Hampshire that had another 750..same year..same price..i could have easily visited both dealerships close to me..but steve sent me pictures ,info, original sticker, carfax..etc, etc.he made me feel so comfortable with the transaction that i made the decision to buy the 750 from him at darien..sight unseen!...it was a very expensive car and was a big decision!..the transaction..delivery..followup..actually everything went super..steve called me the next morning and spent almost an hour with me going over every detail of the car..cockpit..even helped me sync my phone!..it was like he was here at my house...it has been 3 weeks and he called again to followup...that kind of service is rare indeed these days...i so highly recommend steve kozlowski and the darien dealership for your next purchase..i am positive my wife and i will be calling steve again!

If you live in Fairfield county and drive a BMW you'd be foolish to take your car anyplace else. The staff at BMW of Darien are professional, helpful and courteous. They go out of their way to please the customer. Unlike other dealerships in the area (mainly midland in Port Chester, NY) they do not act as if they are doing you a favor. I've never had a better experience or felt more comfortable elsewhere.

I have been using BMW of Darien for 6 years now and have to say they are the single best all-around dealership I have ever used. Their service department is amazing, 9 times out of 10 I call and drop off my car the next day! They are extremely courteous and always put the customers needs above all else. I have bought two cars with them and I am currently doing my third. The sales department is courteous and works hard for us the customer. They are professional and know the business of BMW back and forth. You can count on what they tell you. Darien BMW will also stand behind its customers. I recently had a complex issue with my car (no fault of theirs) and Darien BMW stood behind me the entire way until the issue was resolved. Furthermore they went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied with the outcome. This place wants you to be thrilled with their level of customer service and the quality of their work and they want you to come back, and after working with them you will want to go back.

I must say they've gotten a lot better over the last 3 years. They did a great job the last couple times that I've been to the shop. They provide shuttle service to and from work, the car gets washed everytime after service is done.They do what needs to be done to the car but the labor its just too expensive.

I have been buying cars for 43 years and this was the best buying experience I have ever had. I test drove a car, told the dealer what I wanted and when I needed to take delivery. Amazingly, astonishingly, uncharacteristically, I did the deal a month before the pickup date on a handshake. No deposits. No papers to sign. Nothing but mutual goodwill. Oh, and I got the best price. I shopped three dealers and the one (BMW of Darien) that gave me the best price got the transaction. No going back and forth playing one against the other, which would not have been fair. Neal Appleby is a very good and knowledgeable salesman with high honesty and integrity. I recommend this dealership and salesman highly.

First and only experience so far is for a service appointment for my X5. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. They serviced the vehicle in a timely manner and set appropriate expectations. The only issue we had was during pick-up, they weren't able to locate our records since the vehicle still showed up under the previous owner. But they resolved as quickly as they could and we were on our way.

Amazing experience, I highly recommend this BMW dealership. Sal Marino was fantastic! He was so patient with me especially as I wasn't really sure what car I wanted. He was friendly and very knowledgeable, and at no point did he try to sway my decision. Sal provided me with all the necessary information so I could make the right decision for me. I am absolutely delighted with my car and will definitely use BMW of Darien again. The leasing department was also extremely helpful and I found the prices to be very competitive.

Sal Marino was terrific! If he didn't know something, he immediately went to the right person to get the definitive answer I was looking for. I ended up buying a vehicle from Sal and I will now go to him every time.

Upon arriving at BMW of Darien I was somewhat nervous that I would be judged upon walking in. However, I was welcomed and greeted by a smiling Sales Associate named Sal Marino. He escorted me to his desk and before looking at any cars, Sal began to tell me about himself and his overall knowledge of the business; which put me at ease. Sal was very attentive and allowed me to express all the 'must haves' I was looking for in a BMW. During the same time frame, his team reviewed my Jaguar that I wanted to trade in. They were very professional and honest/fair about the trade-in value. After reviewing a few BMW's that fit my criteria, we went for a test drive. Sal was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions, even if some seemed obvious.Tom Samperi joined in on my BMW search to advise what options I had with my trade-in, how the process would work in getting a used BMW and how they (Sal and Tom) were working to keep me at my monthly payments. Tom was very professional and sensitive to my situation.Anthony Martinez was the last man I met with that day. He shared with me a little about himself and what his role is in the final process. In short Anthony worked his magic, talked with BMW financial, was able to lower my APR %, factor in a 3 year warranty on the used BMW X5 I had chosen and was able to get me approved and right on budget. My new 'used' BMW X5 would be ready for pickup the following day. Vladimer advised me that my X5 would undergo a full check, oil change, detail job etc... BMW provided me with a 2011 loaner and my X5 was ready for pickup on schedule the next day.Overall, the staff was completely personable, knowledgeable and professional. I have already started referring BMW Darien to my peers and I cannot stop gloating about my BMW X5 and team who supported me in getting my dream car.Thank youJRave

Sal was great to deal with, and patient. I came in to look at the new 5 series and had a number of other brands similar models I'd been considering. Over several visits he walked me through the 5 series providing quotes and details on the options and inventory. I did notice an M3 on the lot that I'd not really considered and he was happy to switch from helping with a new car sale to a Certified Pre-owned Sale. He has been prompt to return calls and answer questions or getting me in touch with the right person to answer a question.Everyone I encountered at the dealership was helpful, friendly, and polite. A great purchase experience that I'll be relaying to friends and family in the area for their next car purchase.Very happy with my 4 door sports car!

I bought a certified BMW with Darien dealership recently and i am surprised by the way they do business. I Walked in and the SA i talked to earlier was busy do i was sent to another SA (Sal Marino). Thought he recently joined the team, he knows everything about BMW's. The dealership quickly understood my needs and tried to meet my expectations. I am however happy with my BMW now and enjoying the sweet ride. It all because if the easy process they have in place.

Today I had my very first service experience at BMW of Darien. I purchased my car (1M) from Darien a few months ago and today I brought it in for its break-in service. I was very pleased with the experience. From my perspective, everything ran like clockwork. From checking in, sitting with the SA to picking up the car after the service was completed. I particularly wanted to point out how helpful my SA, Joe Downs, was when I dropped off the car. Im an active member of a BMW 1M message board (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/). Its from comparing notes with other 1M owners that it was discovered that some BMW dealerships (not Darien) were unfamiliar with the correct fluids to be used in the 1M. I brought in a document which listed the correct fluids to discuss with my SA. Other 1M owners have down this at other dealerships with mixed results. Some dealerships respond positively while others can be dismissive. Joe was great! He looked at my document and verified that it was accurate and that he was aware of the needs of the 1M. I really appreciate his patience and assurance. For me, the 1M is a special car that I plan on keeping forever. I look forward to a long relationship with BMW of Darien.

Joe is very courteous and knows the BMWs well - something that has been a mixed experience for me through the years with different dealerships. You give him the symptom and he immediately gives you a preliminary diagnoses and the approximate costs. He is proactive about keeping you informed of the work and is patient when explaining the work (a problem I typically have when you deal with inexperienced service advisors). While fixing your car here is an expensive proposition (as with all BMW showrooms), Joe makes sure that you understand the nature of the work in detail. I will continue to do business with them as long as I am dealing with Joe. One issue I do have with the dealership is that they never wash the car after repairs unless you ask them to. This is no fault of Joe, but the dealer in general whenever I have taken it there. You get an very uncomfortable feeling when you have spent over $2K in repairs and get into a dirty car. Overall, I would recommend this dealer as long as I am dealing with a person of Joe's caliber.

BMW of Darien service is the best on the east coast. They are always friendly helpful and very conscious of the consumers time. They are even helpful when you don't have an appointment.

Unprofessional customer service. I spoke with Brad - service appointment coordinator. He promptly returned the call after I had left him a voice mail. But I wish he had not. ...That was the most unpleasant conversation of my week. Brad's manner to speak to a customer is bordering outright rude and has a distinctive flair of smart-ass behavior. He sounded like he was making me a favor talking to me, and he was distinctly passive aggressive and showing me attitude when I asked him things that weren't clear to me from his explanations. I hope not to have to speak to that person again, and that all other employees of the dealership are different.

Jill Brown is extremely responsive, courteous and efficient. I never have to wait too long for an answer as to why my car needs repair and she is very good at explaining maintenance problems in a way that is easy to understand. (This way I understand exactly what I am paying for!) I can always depend on Jill to see that my car is serviced swiftly and effectively. And she is super nice.

Trevor Martin is an assett to BMW of Darien. We had a few bumps with service after the purchase of our used car and he took care of everything and kept us in the loop. He went above and beyond for us and has made us comfortable with our purchase and our continued dealings with BMW of Darien as they "did the right thing" when it was necessary. We love our car and are 100% confident when we call Trevor to make our service appointments that he will make sure the job is done as it should be.

Barbara is a true asset to the dealership. She is very customer focused, knowledgeable about BMW's products and services courteous and professional. I just bought my 6th BMW and not only would I even think of going to another dealership, I would not use any other sales person.Barbara knows how I like to work and my preferences with cars and is very responsive to my needs. She is a pleasure to deal with and I have recommended her to a number of other friends and colleagues who feel the same about her.

I called late on a Thursday afternoon and Joe was able to accomodate me early on Friday morning. He arranged for a shop foreman to take a drive with me to see what the issue with my car was. The problem was diagnosed, the car taken into the shop, I was given a ride to my office and four hours later the car was done.I doubt that anyone can ask for more than that.Outstanding group at BMW of Darien. Friendly and courteous and always willing to help.Thank you.

barbara monick is a wonderful sales person. very professional. knows all about the various models. can deliver on time without any glitches. works great deals. she is far above the usual car sales person. we have purchased 6 bmws from this dealer and the last 5 were from barbara. whatever barbara is selling we will be buying! upon delivery she takes her time and makes sure we understand how everything works. we have always had a positive experience with barbara.

Joe is a true professional.Yesterday morning, my car would not start, I had my vehicle towed to BMW of Darien. Joe had answers for me immediately! Joe even took time during his lunch to give me a call, not only tell me what happened, but to give me an in depth explanation of how/why it happened. Joe also had it ready for me the same day! He provides great service and is the main reason that I continue to have my vehicle serviced in Darien. He is always there with answers to my questions quickly and accurately. He is prompt with his responses and gives honest recommendations.I would recommend him highly.

Jill is the most caring and accommodating service representative I have ever had. I have been a Mercedes Benz and Lexus owner for many many years. I have never found anyone as accommodating as Jill.Unfortunately, I find the 550x I own a spectacular automobile, but I am very concerned about the number of times I have had to have a tire replaced.

I called to make an appointment for service and was able to take my car in within two days. Trevor was very competent and was able to answer all of my questions regarding the problems I was having with my car. I picked up my car at the end of the day and everthing was working fine. The whole service experience was excellent.

Joe is by far the best service guy in this dealer. He knows the products and is very up on all the functions and repair info. He will even make simple repairs himself in the lot. After telling me they could easily beat a price i got from Greenwich BMW and making me come down to their dealership...This was the sales rep's (Leo) response to the competitor's quote....."sweet heart, the other dealer can't offer you a price that low, you must be confused and misunderstanding something about the deal". I reckon I'm just another confused and incompetent female in the world. Shhh...don't tell the bank that employs me to manage one of their $20 billion portfolios...they are under the impression that I am competent and can count past 100.

I wanted to trade my Range Rover in for a BMW. I was at whole foods and figured i had some time. I walked in and saw a nice x5 and a very very cool used M3 with low miles. What I liked about this dealership was that i wasn't attacked by the staff trying to sell me a car but i was asked if i wanted a bottled water or a coffee by a great looking young lady. I wanted to take the m3 for a test drive so i scheduled it. I will be back this Saturday to drive it and then make my decision. Great place great cars.

I couldn't believe how great their office looked. It was very obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen. This provider has so much helpful information available online. They have an impressive website that's easy to use. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. I recommend all my friends and family member to go to BMW of Darien.

One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. The sales team was extremely helpful and friendly, and made the whole process seamless. This was my first time buying a BMW, and it will be the only car I buy from now on, thanks to BMW of Darien. It didn't hurt that I was able to have Milky Way coffee as well!! I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience.

It was a great and easy experience. I am driving my new car and am happy with the price. The dealer ship was amazing the place looks like it came out of a movie. I was treated like a customer before i even spoke with anyone. They sat me in the waiting area and brought me some snickers coffee.

We followed a salesman there after having a very positive experience with him at Greenwich.Initially the service we were receiving was great, when Ron was there. Then, about two years ago, it changed dramatically. (as soon as the car went off warranty) The service staff was extremely rude, and I have recently discovered that we were charged over $300 for what was a light bulb.They did not call us when the car was repaired. They no longer washed the car as part of the service. After the car was off warranty, we no longer had loaners. It seems as if they do everything to force you to buy a new car from them.When we purchase a new BMW, we will find a different dealership.We have recently found a good BMW mechanic and will use him in the future for our X5 and Z3.

Horrific. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else. We purchased a few cars from this dealership and are still met with a very rude service staff, that is if you could even get an actual person on the phone. What a complete annoyance it is dealing with BMW of Darien. Always leave there without the slightest feeling of satisfaction. Complete waste of time. Buy an Audi or it you must get a BMW try the dealership in the New Haven area, they have been beyond accommodating when BMW of Darien failed us more than once.

I asked for a scheduled maintenance, they stuck me with an "Inspection II" service - $1,000 later ($600 of which was for labor, most of it just "inspecting" the car). I complained, but was yelled at by service manager. They the oil and topped off a couple of other fluids. Service people were argumentative, and service manager was confrontational. Completely unacceptable.

I'm on my second BMW purchased/serviced from this dealer, and I've owned many cars. This dealer is far superior to the SAAB, Jeep, and Volvo dealer's in the area I've been to. They excel in customer service in both the sales and service departments. They are friendly people, courteous, thorough and sincerely happy to serve. Excellent follow up. Timely appointments. Very nice accomodations for waiting. Part of my overall very-good experience may be because of BMW's service plan. Service and repairs have always been covered, and I trade my cars in when the coverage expires. Otherwise it could become rather expensive, quickly, to repair a non-covered vehicle. These are highly trained technicians who deserve to earn good money and should be paid accordingly.I highly recommend this dealer for sales and service. It's about the team of individuals who work there, not about the dealership itself.

They seem to have a problem serving African Americans. Piss poor attitude toward customers spending their hard earned money. They quoted one price for a part over the phone, then changed the price the following day without explanation. I guess different prices for different customers. They will even lie to your face if they don't "like" you. The parts manager told me that they don't accept credit cards over the phone and that they don't ship parts, both of which are confirmable lies. I'm not surprised that some people have great experiences though. Depending on your caste, you just might. Bottom line, these people are hideous. They are a disservice to the company they represent and the community at large.

I have had a horrible experience with BMW of Greenwhich. I am 19 years old and they treat me horrible there. I wanted them to fix a problem with my car's engine, they didnt want to do it so the service writer lied to my face and told me (at 35,000 miles on my car) that my engine wasnt warrantied. OK.<br><br>I took my car to Darien BMW for this same problem. I have had this problem for over a year and nobody has every been able to diagnose it. I finally couldnt take it anymore and had them look at it. I must say i was surprised to be treated as well as i was. I'm used to getting piss poor treatment from Greenwhich. Anyway, they did everything in their power to correct my problem. An oil change didnt work so they are replacing something that requires them to drain the oil so they are even going to refund my money for the last oil change. They have knmowledgable tech's and I am very pleased with their service.

Just bought the new 745LI and it's been in the shop longer then I've own the car.They wanted to give me a Chrysler loaner car while I'm paying 1035.00 a month for a bmw.They don't treat you very well when you go for service.I've owned Mercedez for the last 14 years ans switched to a bmw for the first time boy am I sorry they should take a lesson from Mercedez how to treat customer that just spent 85.000.00 on a car.

I actually thought that Darien did a much better job then Ridgefield. I had a 2000 323i that i bought from Ridgefield and the service was always a nightmare up there. I repeatedly took it back to get the same things fixed. Finally i took it to Darien and they solved the problems, which is why I ended up buying my 2003 330xi from them. Thats just my 2 cents.
