There are closer dealerships to us, but we LOVE Bob Steele Chevrolet in Cocoa. They were courteous with the booking, started on time and were finished before expected, and the customer lounge is spectacular. Thank you for always making us feel like royalty! FOLLOW UP... Four years ago, I bought a Chevy Volt from Bob Steele Chevrolet. I loved the Volt, but when I bought a small travel trailer, I needed a vehicle that could tow. I decided to find a gently used Toyota Highlander. When I found out that Bob Steele had one on their other lot, I looked no further. I traded the Volt for the Highlander that day. There were no hassles, we were able to come to terms on the price I wanted to pay for the Highlander and trade-in price for the Volt. This was about a year ago. They provide free tune up visits for life. There is never a hassle about getting the free service. Their waiting area is excellent. There staff is friendly and professional. They check everything with no high pressure up-sale service. My daughter will be getting her first car this summer... I will be headed directly to Bob Steele when it's time to go car shopping. Great products, good variety of vehicles, excellent service, and fantastic follow up.

Efficient and welcoming arrival. Took 1hr and 15min to have oil changed, good checkup tests and tires rotated. The team was in touch with me on all the options and extras they felt necessary to take good care of my car. Waiting room was comfy and clean. Over all 4.2 stars out of 5. I would like to see faster oil change and maintenance check times to keep up with many new dealers and oil change companies. Great wash finished up a good experience.

As anticipated, great customer service from arrival to departure. This was a simple oil change and tire rotation. But, the attentiveness and professionalism experienced was no less than if it had been an appointment for a major service or repair. Sage, the service writer greeted me, made sure what I wanted done, checked the vehicle's maintenance history for additional suggested or recommended maintenance and ensured I knew how to contact him while I waited for the service to get completed. He was proactive and engaged to make this a pleasant, timely and successful visit. I could not have asked for anything more. My thanks to Sage and the team members involved with this service. After have such a pleasant experience with a previous experience at Bob Steele, we went in with the intent to purchase a used vehicle. After shopping online we knew which vehicles we wanted to look at. Upon arriving at the Cocoa site we were told used cars are at 2 other sites not at the main site in Cocoa. We decided to look at new cars while we were there. The salesman was stiff yet friendly, and helpful but not very knowledgeable about the line up. Still we decided on the vehicles we wanted. We chose 2 vehicles and sat down to negotiate a price. We sat there waited 30-45 minutes for the sales man to return with the exact number the cars were advertised for online and told us the online prices were put up incorrectly and that they were actually losing money by selling them at that price. So we asked for a better deal and he wanted us to sign that if he got to our price we would buy. After telling him we would not single went back to his manager. That is when we decided to walk out. As we were leaving the salesman and his manager proceeded to confront us shoving a paper with their "dealer cost at us" trying to make us believe that both cars were listed so low they would lose over $10k by selling them at the internet price. The salesman even told us we wasted his time he took to show us all of the cars. The confrontation was loud and it ended with the manager telling us to try to negotiate with another dealership. We did and we purchased 2 new cars. My advice: don't assume your customers are not knowledgable and if your internet prices are killing you check them before you post them.

Best Dealership experience I ever had. Everyone was professional, courteous, and honest. There was no pressure. I live in another state and really wanted a certain car. They were able to let me know what exactly I was going to pay before I got there and no pressure or games. When they say they will work with you they mean it. I read the reviews and I was very excited to see how everyone was so satisfied with Bob Steele chevy.. I will NEVER know... I was in contact with internet sales for a few days, Living a 100 miles away my husband and I made plans to see a 2013 Traverse.. The big problem was where the vehicle was. 1st it was in Cocoa, then in Melbourne.. So when I texted to see if it could be in Cocoa, being that it was closer to our daughter who lives in Orlando, I was texted back that it would be in Cocoa on Sunday.. when we got to our daughters apt. I made the call to make sure it was there, since it was going to be an hour drive from her place, No one was sure where it was.. 1st I was told no it was in Melbourne, I said I have a text that says its in Cocoa..He said to give him 5-7 minutes, and he would call me back..I never got a call back,, so I called again, and got someone different, who said he would give the message to the previous salesman,, but, still never got a call back, so after 30 minutes I called again, and said, I just wanted to know if the car was in Cocoa, but Now I'm no longer interested,,,Maybe it was because I wasn't local,,, but very disappointed...

+Our Corvette required a new window motor and service. Upon putting the vehicle on the rack, the Harmonic Balancer was reported as being cracked and needed replacement. When we went to pick the vehicle up after Christmas, we found all the required work and service were performed in an excellent manner; our vehicle was washed and spotless. Further, we were very happy to find that all the required repairs were covered by our extended warranty. That was even a greated Christmas present. The Bob Steele Service team especially Lee and Ron are always extremely helpful, professional and courteous.

My overall experience was great! Your shop people are awesome especially the guy who took care of me 8 or 9 months ago. I think his name was Greg. Grey/white hair, glasses, maybe 45-50. My car needed a ton of work and you guys did it no problem. So, thank you so much! The only thing negative thing I have to say is my dealer was done with me as soon as I drove off the lot. He told me he would get me a second key and an owners manual. After several failed attempts to receive those items I gave up. I realized he didn't care and was possibly just telling me what I wanted to hear. I even gave him the address of where I would be for the next few months and he told me he would send me them. I definitely would not recommend Tyler to anyone. I still haven't received either one. Your shop going above and beyond for me is what will keep me telling people how great Bob Steele Chevrolet is and if I ever want to trade my car in I will be returning to Bob Steele Chevrolet. Great Customer service did not hesitate to take care of our transportation needs when our car broke down and the service department did not have time to fix the car. Needed a reliable car for my family in denver for the snow. Talked to 7 different salesmen at Bob Steeles chevy and everything was going well until I told them I was going to buy a ticket to come see it. Told them I would be there in 3 days and they insisted I didn't run my credit until I came and saw the car and that they would hold it for me. Seemed fair. So i booked the flight to tampa fl $245 one way, booked a rental for $90, and booked another flight down so my mother could fly back after we drove the car to denver. $200 one way. So I wake up this morning after booking everything with a text telling me they sold the car.... Are you kidding me....what kind of business are you running? We've talked about this car through email, text, phone, picture for weeks and I told you I bought everything and I'd be there Wednesday. Why tell a customer to not run their credit but you'll hold the car till they get here then sell it one day before they fly in. Very poor service and a huge waste of my time and money. At least have some common courtesy to say that somebody else is thinking about buying the car before I spend $500 to come see it.

Tried buying a car here from another state booked all the flights and rental car costing me $500. Talked to a few salesmen about the car for 3 weeks making sure it would hold up in the snow for my family. They didn't want to run my credit till I was physically there which is understandable to test drive. PROMISING ME THEY WOULD HOLD THE CAR!!! Then they sell the car 2 days before I arrive with no warning... really poor customer service and now I'm basically screwed. Great team we got over here with zero common courtesy to other people. Guess I'll be going to florida In hopes to find a car in 2days no research. Never I repeat never buy from this place

I do think thought that their Jobs are a little harder than they should be. Maybe you put to many demands on your service men/ladies. We were wanting to keep this car in lieu of purchasing a new one. But we were unsure of the overall condition. Because of the uncertain of the condition we asked that Bob Steele do a thorough inspection and let us know all that had to be corrected with an estimate. The inspection was accomplished and we were given an estimate. We were satisfied with the estimate and what they said had to be corrected. So far, the car is performing great and we expect it to continue for several thousand miles. Thank you very much, we now feel comfortable to drive on many long miles of trips.

I was pleased with the outstanding help I received from the scheduler, and Kyle Gardner did an acceptable job as the expeditor, but there are a couple of issues that I feel need to be addressed by management. First, notes added to the WO by the scheduler did not make it to the WO in service, which meant a task I had requested did not get completed. Second, while I understand this is complimentary service, checking for error codes during this service make a lot of sense. How many MAJOR issue could you avoid, if the error codes were checked during this service. The expeditor needs additional training in why the definition of the error codes are and be able to head off a major failure by knowing what minor codes are indicating as to future larger failures. Personally, I would think looking at Error Codes during this service will highlight possible larger issues prior to them happening. I call it Preventative Maintenance, i.e. you see an error codes that indicates a low transmission pressure, which can be corrected now by a flush and filter change, but left undone could result in a major failure on the highway, which results in the cost of a transmission rebuild or exchange. Based on my mechanical knowledge, I think your service motto should be, " Establish excellent customer relations by keeping them running". As I said, Kyle did an acceptable job, but needs experience so as not to rely on his pad. Ask, suggest potential needs to the customer, i.e. how are your wiper blades, any thing we need to look at while you are here. He is very personable and will grow into his position, given some management leadership. When I leave Bob Steele service I expect my vehicle to be in top-notch condition, ready for the road.

Prices seem reasonable, which bring me back. The first time I brought my car in for head light change, the bumper has to be taken off in order to do this. So I asked for a price to do both sides and got it. Said, ok, do both sides. Only one side was done. only charged for one side, but regardless, waited a pretty long time for only one side to be done. The Service Manager said, ok, we will do the other side with no labor charge. Ok, seemed fair. On the way home I noticed that the tire monitors were blank, called about that and two recalls and brought it back in the following week. Said, please fix tire monitor, well two were broke. Said and while I am in here, replace the headlights on the other side. Waited 3 hours and after all was said and done, headlights still not changed on left side. So is my time less valuable than the dealership? Now I am going to make another trip back and wait another 3 hours? ;(

I am only leasing my 2013 Equinox so I don't know about the sales staff that was present in 2013. This was our 40,000 mile service on our 2014 Volt. I was greeted as I pulled into the nicely-designed, covered service entrance, and quickly processed into the system. Everyone that I dealt with at Bob Steele has always been friendly and professional! Came in for a total wheel swap. Had my own wheels and I bought four new Michelin tires from you. This was on Friday and my service advisor, Wes, told me that the tires would be in on Monday. Sure enough Monday, Wes told me to come in and they would start work. i arrived and my wife and I waited for the car. The dealership personnel, and the service department personnel are terrific. They installed fog lights on my 2015 Equinox. The body shop however could do better on small jobs. I have had to have paint issues fixed on my vehicle twice. The most recent repair will have to be fixed again. When you see the car in the sunlight, you can see the swirls from what appears to be the sander, a mark in the paint like a fingerprint or cloth mark. It clearly was not painted entirely where the repair was being done and has to go back again to be fixed. The body shop customer service folks are terrific though. Very friendly, take care of you immediately and make sure you taken care of.

Chris was also very efficient and clear in explaining each document that I was asked to sign. I definitely did not like being presented with the very last document, which required me to sign that I was obligating myself to an additional $730 charge in the event that there was any problem with my check. I would not write a check if the funds were not available. It is always possible that the bank could make a mistake. I should be responsible for full payment price of the car, but to ask me to accept an additional charge of $730 for a possible mistake is outrageous. Overall I am very happy with the car AND the experience of buying a car from Bob Steel. Thank-you

Outstanding repairs and paint on my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer - like showroom condition now. Bob Steele continues its tradition for being the absolute best in the area as evidenced by the perfect repairs, matching paint and clean condition of the automobile when returned - even areas under the hood and exterior surfaces that were not damaged were cleaned I am truly pleased with the front of the shop (Katie) performance and the rear of the shop performance (Gary Day, Michael McCallum and others on the team that worked, inspected and serviced the car) All the work performed on the Trailblazer is truly excellent and awesome! Joe, the sales man, and Kerri, the phone sales rep, were awesome. I give them 10/10 on service, politeness, professionalism, and more. I think the sales manager is weak and a vulture who isn't smart enough to close enough deals for this particular dealership to see significant gains year over year. The financial manager (the person who signed all the contracts with us) was about a 6 out of 10 because he really tried to push some stuff on us and was a little condosending. I feel that after more of my hard work to get the deal done it was done. My wife didn't like being told to walk by the sales manager when trying to negotiate (not by hour). Also, please tell other sales representatives to keep their chewing tobacco and unprofessionalism off of the sales floor. Also, I bought the first 2016 Colorado off the lot. You should be making a big deal out of it and make one feel more part of the family. I worked in dealerships for 5 years and did more teamwork and making customers feel like a family than I felt. I cannot stress how wonderful how made us feel. Even my father in law was given a $25 gift card joe had won for selling the Colorado since my father in law was not told by the sales manager that he was not needed for the deal. Overall, 7 out of 10 with Kerri and how taking on the majority of those stars.

Kyle was our service manager. It was discovered on our first oil change of our new Silverado that the bolts were missing from our air filter box. Maybe a factory oversight. I pulled up and everyone was very polite. Upon learning it was my first time at the dealership for service, I was offered to sit in the lounge area. I declined, but the offer was nice. I was told about a recall I knew nothing about, and there was even a small piece of another thing missing and was informed it was covered under my warranty. I was give an estimated completion time and they crushed it which was very good. Overall it was an awesome experience!

My wife and I left the Ford dealership down the street from Bob Steele Chevrolet leaning on purchasing a Ford Edge, but we needed to look at all of the vehicle's we researched on-line.We met Jeff Woods inside the door after I tried out the seat in a brand new corvette needless to say, no problem getting in just a little tough getting out. Jeff from the start was a very personable and knowledgeable yet humble enough to say "If I don't have the information you need, I'll find that information for you" and trust me we havehid a lot of questions, all of which he was able to answer right away, with a couple he quickly obtained the information we needed. After we tested each vehicle we needed to it was getting late and we left. Jeff had given us his card with his personal phone number as well as the dealerships. A few days passed and my wife ended up in the hospital unexpectedly and having surgery. A week passed and we stayed in touch with Jeff through texting and talking on the phone and each communication he always asked "How is Joanne doing" thanks Jeff for showing you cared. My wife things I'm too long and drawn out so.... When we were able to make it back to the dealership and meet up with Jeff we talked numbers and knew Jeff understood what we wanted and could afford so hepurposed leasing as an option explaining all benefits and options. Leasing was definitely it. From financial to signing our contact was very pleasant and we never felt pressured from the first "Hi I'm Jeff Woods" to"Congratulations on your new Chevy Traverse". One thing I want to mention is that if they are going to wash your vehicle to do a better job. Be nice if your vehicle is dry not dripping water and I saw the person using a dirty cloth trying to dry my truck. Dirty cloths scratch your paint highly advise to use dry clean cloths. Everything else was outstanding.

She had all the necessary papers ready for me to sign. She called for Frank, the curtosity driver, after informing me of the time it would take to do the work on my vehicle. Frank drove me home and was very pleasant as well as an excellent driver. Later Megan called to inform me of the extra work that needed to be completed for my car to run efficiently. frank picked me up at the end of the day, 5pm, and brought me back to the shop. Both of these persons were very helpful, kind and understanding. However the cost of the work completed seemed to me overwhelming. I chose to have your dealership do my repairs because I purchased this vehicle from you. I probably could have gotten a better price at a repair shop but I trust the service personnel at your shop. You you taken care of my HHR ever since I purchased from you in September of 2008. Thank you.

My appointment was at 8:30 AM it was 1:00 PM and the problem with my car which it was a factory recall could not be determined. The problem was a loss of power that had something to do with the acelator welding problem. Somehow the problem was traced to the computer and it could not be determined. So I just requested to requested to have my car back and the request was granted. That's it.

First of all I'd like to say it was about time I broke into my piggy bank being that I had my last Silverado for the past 14 years. I couldn't have asked for a better truck. What better way to replace it, is with a new Silverado. My salesman's name was John Doran, what a nice guy didn't try to pressure me into anything. A matter of fact I had a truck picked out to pick up the next day I changed my mind. Mind you I'm a meticulous guy everything has to be the way I want it. I called him that morning to let him know it was no big deal I just told him I want a truck just not the one from the day befor. He just kept saying don't worry we'll take care of it and figure it out. Any ways I have the truck I want, I'm happy and when I need another one I'll be talking to John Doran he's the real deal. He was very kind and sympathetic, and also concerned how GENERAL MOTORS treated me and my case.He was very compassionate and always took my calls or he called me to let me know what was going on with my case. This was the first time I have made an appointment and actually got in and out with no problem. Then again maybe that's because I was the first one there. Normally even when I make an appointment I have to wait forever because the walk-ins get to go ahead of me, which I think is unfair, appointments should always be given priority. Hopefully this time the air pressure sensors are set up for the right tires too. :-) All in all it was great, my car was super clean and I made it to work on time! The coffee doesn't hurt either!!!

I normally go to my mechanic who I trust very much. so I get the "phone call" telling me that they found a problem with my shocks which are leaking really bad should be replaced.back shocks 542. front shocks 515.thats over a 1000.00. Thank God Im not the stupid female they thought i was. so I declined and took it to my mechanic, who looked at them and said there wasnt anything wrong with them. My car looks great. I am thankful for the great work. The only thing I didnt like was: I was told that my car was ahead of schedule and that they may get it back to me by that afternoon..... Never got a call back, until the next day when I called first. The response was yes it is still ahead of schedule but that they were looking at buffing a spot out (Which I am grateful for), but it really wasnt "ahead" of schedule and if something was ahead of schedule I would tend to think the amount of labor was less than estimated. anyhow, overall it I am pleased with the work and would come back if I needed more done.

I think the work done on my truck was excellent; the only problem I had was the fact that I was not kept informed on the status of my truck and why there was a four day delay in getting my truck repaired. Also, phone calls were not returned for two days which led me to think that there was a possibility that I wasn't being kept informed of the status of my truck because my truck was being used by an employee instead of being returned to me. I know I have to trust them to a point, but it doesn't mean that I trust them completely.

This was my sw cond time coming in for the same issue. Came in previously for a problem with the 4 wheel drive. They fixed the front differential which in turn was not the issue after a week of being in the shop. I brought the car back approx. two weeks later and worked with William C. He listen to EVERYTHING that I described and made detailed notes for the service team. As my car was being worked on for another week, William called me to keep me up-to-date with the progress twice. That was more than I expected. My car runs like it should now...quiet. I never expected a Suburban engine to be this quiet. The mechanic that serviced my car was meticulous. According to the paperwork, he worked long and hard to fix the issue and have me satisfied. Now that's great customer service!

I really enjoyed my recent experience of buying a Chevy Volt at Bob Steele! Seriously. When my wife and I first arrived to test drive the Volt, we were enthusiastically greeted by our salesman, Tyler Zuchowski. Tyler treated us professionally and with respect. The Volt us an unusual car, but Tyler was very knowledgeable, but not afraid to look-up answers to the few, more arcane, questions that we threw at him. Your Sales and Finance staff did not try to play games with us, and that was like a breath of fresh air. We also deeply appreciated the discount that we got as USAA members! We liked the whole experience, frankly. We have not bought a new car in a long time, and this was refreshing! After we bought our Volt, we recommended Bob Steele to our financial planner, who was already looking around for a new car. We must have been convincing, because he told us today that he just bought the Volt that we test drove on our initial visit. He is just as pleased as we are! We are so enthusiastic about our new Volt, that we're planning to have our car "wrapped" in a beautiful photograph of an intense lightning storm. We are also carrying a small stack of Volt brochures to hand out to folks who inquire about our car. We've also joined the Electric Auto Association! Thank you GM! My only deep regret is that we have tried several times to ask for a tour of the Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant, with no luck. I even wrote to Daniel Akerson, asking for help , and we were told (in a call from GM's EV Customer Support office), "We don't do tours there, but if an opportunity opens up, we'll keep you in mind." That's disappointing. Also, during the delivery process, we learned that our car sat at the Inter-Modal yard in Orlando for something like four days, before it was finally loaded onto an auto transport for the 40-mile drive to Cocoa. The wait was worth it, however! Thank you for the Volt, GM! A wonderful car -- a fair price -- an excellent buying experience Who could ask for more? By the way, we have no vested interest in this company, and no one is paying us or coercing us into being so enthusiastic.

I contacted the dealership thru the internet. My contact was Tyler and he promptly provided me with all information in reference to the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I told Tyler when I could come over and test drive and look at the car, I was impressed that he said I will have it pulled up for you ready to go, that was two days before I was able to get there. I was very pleased with my experience at Bob Steele. I went in looking to trade in my 2005 Malibu for a new one. I was interested in the rental program instead of a direct purchase. The salesman directed me the a Chevy Cruze and I found it comparable to the Malibu at a better price. After a test drive I was convinced. In a short time I was driving my new Cruze home. I was impressed with the fact that I did not have to wait hours like I have at other dealerships in the past, for the paperwork, etc. to be completed as support staff were present even though this was a Saturday. I am very happy with my new Cruze and find it to be comparable to a Malibu in performance, appearance and comfort. I am a lifelong buyer of Chevrolet (or Oldsmobile, disappointed that they were discontinued) and was not disappointed in any way.

Upon arrival to the dealership my wife and I were greeted by David Seymour. We explained to David what we were looking for and our situation and he showed us around. After walking the lot for a while we didn't see anything that really grabbed our attention. My wife mentioned to David that she had seen a vehicle listed online and asked if we could see it. After David looked it up we found out that it was located at their Melbourne location but we decided to do the paperwork on it and then they would bring it to the Cocoa location.After a little bit of negotiations we could not reach an agreement on price so David mentioned another vehicle that was located at the Merritt Island store. He showed us the vehicle online and we liked it so they sent someone to go and pick it up. While they were getting the other vehicle they let us borrow a car to go and get a bite to eat. By the time we made it back to the dealership the car was ready for a test drive. The vehicle was exactly as they described so we made a deal. The whole team was very courteous, accommodating and professional. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase anything. Went in to have my HHR checked out. While there, I looked around the place, and wound up talking to John Doran. I told him about a previous experience at Bob Steele's, when I bought my 2010 HHR. I told him about the Equinox that I had really wanted was a little out of my range, so I bought the HHR, which was what I had come in to buy at the time. So, he took me over to where there were a couple of Equinox models languishing in durance vile out at the far side of the lot. I looked them over, and before you could say, "New Car!", we were test driving a 2013 LS Model. We went in, talked a LOT of numbers, and I came out of there with a wonderful deal, while emptying my garage of a 20-yaer-old albatross, AKA 1993 Camaro Z28; which I would LIKE to have done a lot to, but don't think I would ever afford to get done in the next 2-300 years. Bryan was very professional at all times. We weren't pressured by Bryan to make a deal as if we were taking up his time. Bryan didn't want to get us inside to start talking until we had made some kind of choice. Bob Steele was our first stop. So we weren't ready to set down and deal. Following is a letter I sent to the General Manager, it sums up my experience and why I hope others will think twice before going here.My husband and I are fairly new to Cocoa and chose your location simply based on proximity to our home, feeling it would make any future service needed easy.We found a 2013 Camaro that we wanted to purchase. I have purchased several new vehicles, recreational vehicles, and even a couple boats in the past, and had no idea what I was about to walk into with your company. I told our sales representative (Will) I did not like the haggling process and I would like a price that built in a profit for you, but was not paying for your remodel. If he would have indicated that your company always makes the purchaser haggle over the price I would not have returned the next day to make the purchase. Once we sat down to discuss the price, here came the high pressure sales and back and forth crap that was exactly what I did not want to do. Insisting on monthly payment amounts and wanting initials on everything. I did not even know if I wanted to use your financing, I could have used my own bank. I was simply trying to negotiate the price of the car. I should have walked out at this point, but for whatever reason I continued to play the game with your representatives. When we got to the trade in of my truck, I had done my research. I knew what a fair trade in value was and what it could be resold for. When Will could not get the deal done, he brought in some other guy who was very condescending and told me the research I had done was wrong and that at best they would be able to sell my truck for $12,500. Once again, should have walked away, you currently have that same truck you would be lucky to sell for $12,500 listed at $15,988 (which is what my research had told me was the resale value), nice mark up from the $9,000.00 dollars you gave me, and by the way we paid full sticker price for the car so that is even more profit. Your salesmen certainly are good, but I find it disgusting that you take advantage of people to this degree. Once again, I had the option to walk away and understand that I should have done so, but I really didnt think about just how bad we had been taken until after I was home. A day that should have been exciting and fun turned into us telling everyone we know never to buy from your company! As if this experience was not bad enough, I have more. Three days after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed a screw in the tire. (No doubt from your construction site) We called to see about getting it fixed and were told your service department can only sell us a new tire, They dont repair flats. We took the car to a tire shop which happily repaired the tire for us, but needed to take it back to your service department for the nitrogen. Its 4:30pm, not another car in line, the service guy takes the car and is gone for over 30 minutes. Once he returns he gets out and hands me the keys. I look at my leather seats and there is oil all over them and the door rest. I ask him to clean it; he is gone for another 15 minutes. It took me 45 minutes to get air in ONE tire, and once again I left an unhappy customer.I feel taken advantage of and will advise anyone who ever tells me they are going to be buying a new car not to get it from your company.

When I went to Bob Steel, I was almost certain that they were going to treat me the same as other dealerships due to finanicial hardships I had faced in the past. I had lost my job and it took me a moment to get back up off my feet. All I needed was an opportuntity to continue my progress for my family and I. 8/8/2012...I was referred to Bob Steele's Body shop from satisfied family members for whom have purchased several used vehicles. I went their to see what the cost of my damaged car would be. My son and I entered the Body Shop office, it was very neat and tidy. We then went to the counter, employees at the desk were 3 women & 1 man. I asked who I would need to speak with to find out the cost of my car damage. I explained that we had a high deductible and wanted to see if it was something we could handle out if pocket, or file under ins. When I finished all 4 employees started snickering and laughing. I looked at my son then back to them to insinuate (is someone going to help us). After a moment the lady looked at the gentleman and said I guess your up you get this one. However, when we started talking price an older sales rep took over. He was "old style salesman" and was a turn off. He almost lost the sale for Brian. I was ready to walk out. He was friendly enough, but typical car salesman of yesterday. Pretty sure we did not get deal of the day. Didn't like him taking over the final sales. We arrived about 0930 and left the building about 1400 or so...way too long. We'll see how the next three years go for service and customer satisfaction, which will make or break us from return business at this location. We are very happy with the vehicle though, 2012 Equinox LTZ.

I had high hopes for Bob Steele Chevy, but they managed to perpetuate the stereo-type of a used car salesperson. They have internet prices which are "no haggle". We were looking at a truck on their website and later saw the same truck posted on Craigslist for $900 cheaper. Apparently they have 2 employees that update the internet sales website. We called in the morning to say we would drive over that night to look at the truck, as we live 60 miles away. From the time we called to the time we arrived at the dealership, the cheaper Craigslist ad was removed and then re-posted for $900 more, which then matched the price on the dealership website. The initial salesperson we were dealing with stated we would work with the cheaper Craigslist price. When we actually sat down to talk about financing, he came back with the fact that the Craigslist price was also the higher price. I had the cheaper Craigslist ad in an e-mail. When I went to click on it, it then stated that the ad had been deleted by the author. By doing a Google search, they posted the very same vehicle on 5/17, 5/24 and 5/29 for the price of 34K. The day someone expresses an interest in the vehicle, the Craigslist ads are all deleted and it is re-posted for $34,900 and our salesperson disavows any knowledge of what the internet sales dept. did.If they had come to the table and said they would be happy to sell the vehicle for 34K, we could have done a deal. On principal, we are not going to deal with "bait and switch" tactics. After we expressed our disappointment, the salesman said, is that all it will take, $900, we can work on that. Unfortunately the trade-in quote was also insultingly low. As we're getting ready to leave, he even says, with the trade in, is it a problem of a few thousand dollars? That's correct. We're not idiots. We were offered 4K for a vehicle worth at last 7K as trade in. A dealership selling it used would get at least 10K. We came to the table stating we already had financing, they obviously did not want to sell us this truck. We did not drive 2 hrs. round trip to waste everyone's time.Which brings us to the other sketchy practice we discovered. This truck had been owned by the dealership for greater than 1 yr. The Carfax stated the vehicle had 38K miles on it when purchased at auction and only had 1 owner. A year later it has 45K. When asked about the discrepancy, we were told the managers were using it as a "demo" vehicle, meaning they drove it home. Turns out the GM drove it for 6 months, which is where the majority of those 7000 miles came from. So it is no longer a 1 owner vehicle and no oil changes have been reported on the Carfax in the past year. The managers are welcome to continue driving it around as a demo vehicle.A different salesperson (Jimmy) was with us for the test drive and he was perfectly nice and polite.We'll give our hard-earned money to a dealership with more integrity.

I went to this dealership after my 2003 chevy S10 had blown several head gaskets. I was given a comprehensive assessment of my damages and repair costs. I assessed my options and decided to purchase a new used vehicle. I went into the dealership with a general car type in mind. Elyssa was the representative that came outside to assist me. She was very polite and personable. She asked several questions asking what *I* was looking for in a vehicle. She was not trying to push a new behicle on me from the start. She listened to what I had been thinking and at first showed me some of the used models that were avalible on thier lot. She then stated that it would not be a bad idea to at least look at new vehicles. I accepted. She was very knowlegable about the different aspect of different models that were avalible and she was honest in her statements. When it came time for my decision and purchase, Elyssa was very helpful and made every effort to work with me in negotaitions for price and to get the best deal for my trade-in. I would recommend to anyone and everyone to use this dealership when looking for a vehicle or for service on the one they have. I would definatley recommend Elyssa be the sales rep that they use also.

Visited the dealership after seeing a vehicle I was interested in on their web site. The sales staff welcomed me and asked if they could help. Elyssa showed me the models I was interested and offered a test drive, which I accepted. After the drive I told her I would be visiting other dealers before making a decision. She thanked me for visiting, no sales pressure, and hoped to see me soon. Returned the next evening after visiting 2 other dealers and met with my sales rep again. She was again very friendly and polite and when I told her I was ready to buy she said she would get the keys, just in case another customer came in to look at the same car. There wasn't any of the multiple discussions between my sales rep and the sales manager (wish I remember the name, was extremely striaght forward on the whole process). We began with the price listed, I proposed a price, and was satisfied with their counter-offer. Reached an agreement on the price and financing (Travis was great) within an hour. I told them I would return the next evening to take delivery. When I arrived everything was ready just as promised. I was introduced to a few more of the sales staff and did a final inspection of the car. Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and seemed to be more interested in taking care of me as an individual rather than pushing to make a sale.

Knew exactly what choice of 2 vehicles I wanted, and had looked at/driven both at another dealership in town. So basically at this point I was looking for 2 things : 1) best price, 2) best service. I asked for their prices, I made it clear I was buying cash on the barrel-head. Went inside with young sales guy who went to get prices. He brought back "sales mgr" who was a real bully. And I quote..."this is how it's going to work...you need to decide between these two, and the only way to do that is to go for a drive in both then come back and tell me which one you like & I'll tell you a price". When I made it clear I was not interested in that method, he left. I asked for a business card, and started to receive a run-around from another employee..."have you driven (their 2012 model they are currently pushing)"...blah blah blah. I walked out, went to the dealership I had been at earlier (who had rattled off the price the first time i asked and did not try to intimidate me) and handed them a check and drove my new vehicle home.Sad thing is, I really liked the young sales guy and probably would have bought at this dealership until the sales manager tried to bully me. Also, when I got home I looked at the vehicles online, and the price listed there was only a few $ more than I paid. If I had known, again, I probably would have still bought here b/c I like young motivated employees like the initial sales guy I spoke with.

Linda Premo was very professional from the beginning and down to earth, realistic. Linda knows her stuff but does no make you feel intimidated or uncomfortable at all. In fact, she made us feel very comfortable. She has been the absolute best salesperson I have ever bought from, I have bought 6 new and 2 used cars in the past 22 years.Travis Kittleson was very pressional from the beginning and also down to earth. Realistic, honest, funny and impressed the heck out of my 8 year old son because of his racing experience. He also has a cool accent.We were at the dealership for the norm 3 hours or so but it felt like only a couple. Chuck was very thorough and very patient with me. I recently lost my husband who would have been the one looking and test driving for a new vechile for me and Chuck helped me through the entire process explaining the different vechiles i test drove and ultimately SOLD ME on the one i chose which was the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LT with the sport package. I figured Bob Steele wasnt in the business of giving cars away, but when they first showed me the monthly payment I could "live with", I added it up and it was $10,000 more then the advertised price. My key was "held on" to until "we" came to a fair deal. In hindsight, I might have just walked away from the deal altogether (at least ask for 24 hours to think about it). I would, however, recommend this dealership for their variety of vehicles. Just be prepared to have some SERIOUS high pressure put on you.

Though we were able to arrive at a "fair" deal, we had to suffer through some unnecessary hagggling. We were offered $150.00 for our trade in. In the end were allowed $500.00. We were asked to rate our (my son's and my) credit ratings. The dealership already knew what they were by simply running a credit check. We should have been given the best means of applying for financing up front and been given a choice. No cat and mousing was called for. I have purchased vehicles at other dealerships and the experience was much more pleasant.

Overall experience was great. Tino was every informative and tried to help us get into the price range we needed. The price of the vehicle was good. The only issue we had was a part is missing which they are replacing. They called on Friday the day after purchasing the vehicle and advised the part was in and we could have it put on on Saturday. We took the van to have the part put on on Saturday. The part that came in was wrong and it had to be reordered. We was then told it would be in on Tuesday. We received the call the part had finally come in again on Friday. Just a call in between advising status would have been helpful.

We were happy with his attitude and his NO PRESSURE sales manner. He was patient while we tried two vehicles we were wanting to purchase for my daughter and her children. My sales person was a young man named Amir. He was considerate, knowledgeable, andhe worked very hard to try and give me what I wanted and could afford. I spent thegood part of the day with this young man, and was impressed enough to bring myhusband in the following day to complete the sale. Amir told me a great bit abouteach of the cars I looked at, as well as the one we purchased. He was really politeand had a good sense of humor. We bought a used 2009 Chevy Tahoe from Bob Steele Chevrolet. The reasons we visited this dealership (which is not close to our house) were (1) they had the exact car we were interested in and (2) the treatment we received from Elijah in our first web contact was great. Unfortunately, our experience went downhill a bit from here.First, once we decided to buy the car the price that we had originally agreed on with the salesman was suddenly no longer valid. Instead, the Sales Manager came out and basically forced me to renegotiate for a higher price. That left a bad taste in my mouth. Next, after I bought the car and was ready to take it off the lot, I was told by my salesperson that they only had one set of keys and apparently there was no owner's manual. Now I realize the car is used, however I have bought used cars before and typically they have these things ready for you and if not, at least they tell you in advance and let you know they will get them. I did end up receiving another set of keys and an owner's manual...after I went and complained to the GM. Finally, on my way home from the lot (not even 10 miles away) the tire pressure error light came on. My husband checked the tire pressure when we got home and it was fine. So we figured the tire sensor was broken (and it was). However, as we looked at the tires we noticed there was a nail in one of the back tires and you could see that it had been there for some time as the head was worn down. And if that wasn't enough, we also discovered a broken piece up on the luggage rack and 2 giant cracks in the dashboard. We did look over the car, but it was pouring rain both times making it harder to see some of these items. Again, I realize it's a used car but we bought it from a dealership for a reason, rather than an individual owner, as there should be higher level of upkeep.We did get the items fixed and Jim in the service department was awesome. It was just that we had dropped a good chunk of change on the car and we spent the first few days dealing with quality issues that quite frankly should never have been present.

We looking to trade in our GMC Jimmy for a newer vehicle. Our salesman worked with us on getting the exact deal that we were wanting, both for the trade in value and the payments that we were wanting to make. He made a few trips to the finance people to work it all out for us. Also, after driving the new car I noticed a "braking" issue. We took it to the service department and they were able to duplicate the issue I was having, and informed me that it was a normal function on the stabilzing control. My son also confirmed this for me.

Bob Steel Chevrolet body shop did not repair one of the dents correctly. The repair had a noticable crease in it. They repaired the crease but tried to return my vehile with some kind of white stuff splatered all over my veichle, in between the door seem, tires, step rails, door trim, windsheild, and overhead lights. Also they damaged my window tint. They made two attemps to get this stuff off my vichel and when they could not get all the white stuff off, Kevin Steel said I was too picky. Kevin Steel how would you feel if it was your Vehicle?

I brought my corvette in because the window motor was burnt out. They told me the motor had to be replaced with a complete wiring retrofit and would cost about $500.00about $200 Labor and $300 parts. I specifically asked him if there was somewhere I could just buy the motor? He said not it is not available. I later found out I could have bought just the motor from three different suppliers for around $100.00. In that case I'm sure the labor would also have been less.

All I wanted was to make sure my car was like new (since it was purcHased new). When I picked the car up brand new, the car washer scratched the right rear bumper. I was told to make an appointment later and they would take care of it.I needed the tires checked out (car was bumpy on ride) and they replaced the tires - great job and pleased so far - but they said they couldn't take care of the scratch then. I was advised to make an appointment when I got the first oil change.So now its the first oil change time. Granted it has been several months in the making, but I don't drive it that much and I was assured that the scratch could be repaired at oil change time, so why worry about it, right? I should have worried about it.I guess the customer is always wrong at BOB STEELE CHEVROLET because they won't fix it, and I'm on my own because of the time lapse. Billy (General Manager) basically threw me out on my own and said it was too bad for you, mister.Never again. Lesson learned and I have already begun to NOT recommend BOB STEELE CHEVROLET to my friends. Its no wonder GM is in the tank! If BOB STEELE CHEROLET is a gauge to how GM runs then its no wonder I've been a Ford man in the past.Thanks for nothing BOB STEELE CHEVROLET!!!

I bought a new Chevy Malibu 2 days ago. They charged me $2000 OVER MSRP. They told me they were giving me $2000 for my trade in but actually charged me $2000 over MSRP. I went back there the next day and asked the sales manager why I was charged more than MSRP and showed him the sticker price left in my car. He took me out in the new car lot and showed me the additional separate price sticker on their new vehicles that adds $2000+ dollars to the MSRP if a trade in is accepted. I didn't even realize that and have never heard of an additional price sticker that adds $2000+ to the MSRP. Why didn't they tell me they were just paying nothing for my used car so I could have sold it to a private party? If you still want to shop there be EXTREMELY sure of what the real deal is. In this economy everyone should be paying less than MSRP rather than $2000 more. This is the first time I have even paid MSRP, not alone $2000+ more. My financing was 0% with $5000 down and "supposedly" $2000 for my trade in. In their defense the finance lady told me if I had to pay interest on the loan it would amount to much more than the $2000 extra. Since this purchase was made only a few days ago I have yet to write my comments to the dealer until I receive the satisfaction survey form. Additionally a friend of mine bought the same vehicle new in 2008 (mine is a 2009) for $22,000 including matenance warranty. He was aware of the real cost of the vehicle based upon his past experience. I paid almost $5000 more. He did finance a part of his purchase with an interest bearing loan so that may make up for some of the descrepancy but not much. I also had a difficult time trying to get the warranties I had purchased deleted because the finance lady was trying to "save" the sale. She can be very nice and she can be intimidating, depending on the circumstances. I know they were all just trying to do their job and make as much money as they could but I think too much at my expense. I did agree to the purchase without realizing it's totality. Contract law should require the same 3 day right to change one's mind on an auto purchase as they do on most other purchases. I try to paint a fair picture of the interaction.

After being the victim of a hit and run in a parking lot, I was sent to Bob Steele's Body shop through geico express repair. What a mistake.Their first attempt to repair my vehical, resulted in a fender and bumper that did not line up and dust particals in my paint. The second attempt, resulted in shoddy prep work as the new bumper that was put on was not sanded before being painted.The third attempt was as disappointing as the first. They were able to put the time in to buff out the fisheyes and dust particals in the paint. They sanded the bumper down to a smooth finish, and they also left beautiful buff scratches across my fender.I did not take it back for a four visit.Do I recommend this body shop, NO. When they say express repair, they mean, your vehical will be rush through with out and eye for detail.The end result will be something you will not be happy with, unless of course you dont care what your vehical looks like. Oh, and I forgot to mention the amount of overspray they left of my vehical. I am now waiting the 4 to 6 weeks required after new paint to cure, so that I can take it to a independent detailer and have it done correctly. This of course will be paid for out of my pocket.Beware of this reapir shop. While Geico had every good intention, the fellows that did the work care nothing about your vehical.

I was a victim of false advertisement and poor customer service by Bob Steele Chevrolet. On their website & Yahoo.com they listed a 2007 Hyundia Elantra as an upgraded 'Limited' model; however, it was only a lower GLS. Look up these trims on Kelly Blue Book & you'll see the Limited is valued $1,125.00 above the GLS model.I was suspicious b/c I looked up the models myself & leather seats is STANDARD on the Limited, but the Internet pic of their "limited" looked like cloth. So, before driving 75 miles to see it, I wanted them to verify for me. It took me 3 days of heavy pushing to get them to verify the trim model. In the mean time, here are some comments from their Internet Sales Department:"I understand your time is valuable and your gas... Can you make it later on today to take it for a drive?""Please excuse the confusion, we are a Chevrolet dealer, not a Hyundai dealer.""You asked about the model and it was answered to the best of our ability."FINALLY ON THE THIRD DAY THEY GET IT RIGHT!!!"There are no markings on the rear of the car so I had my GM check and it is a GLS."Finally, they check with their General Manager and it is a lower priced model. It can make a $1,125.00 difference or more when you go to negotiate a price.

I discovered this dealership when GEICO sent me there to have my car repaired in the body shop. I was so impressed with the great service workmaship, and follow up with me that I added them to my shopping list when I was going to purchase another car. I shopped there as well as several other dealerships in the area. I was treated the best at this dealership by far.I did by my new Tahoe from them. John told me that they have been in business here in Brevard for over 30 years. With the service and deal that I got I can understand why.

My daughter brought her 2003 Surburban in for a loud engine knock. The mechanic listened to it and said it had a bad rod and would cost $5000.00 to replace the engine. She said no and to remove the oil pan and verify the bad rod. The rod bearings were all good so the mechanic proceeded to check the cam and said it had a bad lobe, sheared off, but they could replace it for $4700.00. At this point, my daughter, a single mother, told the service dept to put her car back together and she would have it towed to a shop that would replace the cam for around $1200.00. Your service dept charged her $240.00 for their lousy service.I bought a new care from you in 2000 and have always had it serviced by you. But, you can be assured that neither I nor anyone I know will ever utilize Bob Steele Chevrolet again. W. P. would not recommend this dealership to anyone i work in the public daily and will pass this information along false advertising while i talked to the general manger he had nothing to say positive he must really enjoy smacking his gum while i was talking to him the sales person was really great MARK to bad there wasnt better management this happened in cocoa fl also am making a complaint to attorney general
