We researched and shopped around to find the best place to buy a used Mazda. We ended up choosing Bountiful Mazda. (Young Mazda in Ogden was the worst.) Weston was professional, knowledgeable and helpful, without being too pushy. We ended up with a good car, at a fair price. The service department did some touch ups on the car we selected, and they were extremely helpful and proficient as well. We are planning on buying another Mazda from Bountiful, as soon as the teenagers are out of the house.

Purchased three cars from Bountiful Mazda over the last three years. Tim May has been our salesman everytime. He'll take care of your needs and is very concerned with making sure you are happy with the whole purchase experience, just a really great guy. The rest of the staff is always great to deal with. A special shout out to Scotty Medine as well for always taking care of our accessory needs. My only real concern shopping at Bountiful Mazda is that it would be nice to see a breakdown of the numbers prior to signing paperwork. It's fine if you have a certain payment amount in mind, but I really appreciate Titled, out the door numbers, and actual costs before I agree to anything. Pretty much every dealer does this and I'm sure if pressed they would break things down. Overall, great experience with them though. They are my go to dealer and I steer friends and family their way when some I know is looking for a new vehicle.

The showroom and service center is spotless. The staff is always professional and friendly. They really go out of their way to make sure you feel like family. Last week I decided it was time to let my Mazda 3 go to someone else and trade up to the 6 GT. Annette was there to guide me through the decision and answer all my questions. Not once did she pressure or leave me unattended. Her trainee Brandon made sure I also test drove many other models to see everything they had to offer. It was an exciting experience. 5 stars to these 2 sales reps. Scott the general manager, and Rodney the finance officer guided me through all the options of buying or leasing. They made sure I completely understood all aspects of buying or leasing. In the end I feel like I got a far better deal than I thought I would. Before the end of the day we were also trading up my wife's 2015 CX-5 for a brand new 2016 CX-5! Scotty in accessories really added value with some upgrades. The car is amazing and beautiful! Not pushy at all and made me feel really comfortable with the whole experience, as I was pretty nervous to be buying my first car. They gave me four new tires, realigned the brakes and did a full detail including a buff and a wax before I drove the car home! I definitely recommend buying from these guys.

Many lots tried to sell me a car, but Scott, Jeff, and Kameron were like friends. They took great care of me and my family. We traded in my wifes car and got a pre-owned Dodge Journey that we love!You should go buy a car from them, and then go buy a pet so that you can name your pet Bountiful Mazda. Don't buy a fish, because I'm already naming my fish Bountiful Mazda. You'll have to do something else. Like a bird.

I have always heard that buying a car from a dealer is a hassle. This was my first time buying a car and it was a breeze. During the week I was able to email the manager, Dave, and get all approved in just a matter of days. Even on Daves day off he called to let me know I was approved. When I arrived at the dealer they had everything ready to go. I test drove the car with one of the salesman, Jeff. Jason was so polite and helped me sign some of the paperwork. Next thing you know I am signing everything with Eli the finance rep. They were all polite and very helpful. All of the terms and payment amount was exactly what Dave communicated with me via email. I love my new 2013 Nissan Versa!!! I am so happy with the exceptional service I received! I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.

The entire sales process was made very easy by the folks at Bountiful Mazda. Dave LaCourse, our salesperson, was friendly, professional, very knowledgeable about the Mazda we purchased and patient. Before our test drive Dave showed me the different trim lines for the Mazda CX-5 outside in the lot, going through the key features of the Touring and the Grand Touring trims (we purchased the Grand Touring trim). I was out of town for a couple weeks during the holidays, but was able to negotiate the price, identify the car, and agree to the financing terms remotely. One thing I really appreciated about Dave was that he was completely transparent about pricing. In fact, when I requested a certain price based on my research on TrueCar.com, Dave offered a better price because of a year end sale that Bountiful Mazda was running, He didn't have to bring that sale to my attention but he did. Scotty Medine, the accessories manager, worked with me to add a bike hitch and rack accessory. Mike Kentrolis, the finance manager, provided the details of the Mazda finance package so that I could verify the monthly payment. He then Fed Exed all of the sales and financing paperwork to my home the next day so that I could complete the sale. When we went to pick up the car, Dave spent about two hours with us explaining the warranties, service policies and other aspects of the car, then he showed us every feature of the car from the gauges and safety features to the entertainment system. My wife wanted to understand how the manual transmission option worked so he took us for a test drive so that she could shift gears going downhill to get a feel for when to shift and how to use the system. All and all it was a terrific buying experience. Dave, Mike and Scotty worked as a seemless team--transparent, professional and with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. I highly recommend the Bountiful Mazda team!

I had an appointment to have my car looked at, not fixed, at 2:20 to see if a part needed to be replaced or not because of a recall. With my three children I waited for over an hour until they even looked at my car. I watched from the window as they lifted it and looked at it for less than five minutes then lowered it. Two women came in after me and left before me and I got the key to my car an hour and half after I had given it to them. Completely unsatisfied. Worst service I have ever encountered.

I recently leased a Mazda3. I was taken care of by one of the salespeople named "Sally". She had enough knowledge of what she was doing so not even a single question of mine was unanswered. She did everyhing i asked for so fast, she is very lovely as a person. She is very patient and cares about customer's security. The general manager (Tyler Carlson) and the sales manager (Matt) were also very gracious and kind. They did their best to help us get the deal that we wanted. I ould say the best thing about this dealership is they give you the deal you want.

When I was in the market to buy a new vehicle, I test drove a handful of Mazda CX-9s at Bountiful Mazda. I was very impressed with their professionalism and respect; however, I ended up buying a smoking deal from a private owner. For a while, I took my CX-9 to a different Mazda dealership near my house for routine maintenance. But I now take it to Bountiful Mazda for all of my service needs. The difference is night and day; the quality of service at Bountiful Mazda is unparalleled. Chris Sylvester in the service depart at Bountiful Mazda has been wonderful to work with. As far as I'm concerned, Chris wrote the book on customer service in the auto industry. I feel as though he treats me like I'm family. I thought I needed new tires with the approaching winter weather, but he assured me that my existing set of tires had at least one season of life left in them. Talk about honesty! He could have easily sold me a set of 4 new tires. This type of respect is what makes me a faithful customer to Bountiful Mazda. Not to mention, the loaner vehicle they lend to me while I await service on my vehicle. I can run my weekend errands with the piece of mind in knowing my car is in good hands. Keep up the excellent work, guys. And Chris, I'll be in for my regular maintenance soon. When it's time for me to buy another vehicle, I'll look no further than Bountiful Mazda for a fair and honest deal.

If you don't believe this review because it is surrounded by 5 star ratings. scroll through a bit and you'll start to notice low ratings. Wait, just wait until you see the one that is extensive, talks about a great buying experience, but what terrible service they got. Wait until you find out that new tires for life is apparently not new tires for life. All the bad reviews I have seen, have to do with what I'm writing about here - Bountiful Mazda's service to you AFTER you go through the buying process. The buying process is great. And then you feel like you just got suckered. I bought a car from Bountiful Mazda, about two months ago. As so many others have said, they were great during the buying process. They did make sure to push their amazing extended warranty though and I added it to my loan. I really thought I had found an amazing dealership.And as most people, I was excited. I bought a Nissan Altima from them and it's a pretty car. It also, as I found out on my drive home in the rain, has pretty TERRIBLE tires. I hydroplaned home from the dealership the day I bought it, but thought maybe I was just dreaming, perhaps it was just my imagination, maybe I just wasn't used to driving it, let alone driving it in the rain. It was just my imagination, right? Certainly these kind and seemingly honest people would have not given me tires that were terrible, right? WRONG. I find myself about to buy 4 new tires with my next paycheck that actually grip the road. I've never had such awful tires in my life. Since I've read more reviews than mine about terrible service - including lies about their warranty that covers tires. I guess once I buy them, I'll get them insured through the tire place for road hazard, etc.... because I sure don't count on Bountiful Mazda to take care of me, should I get a flat or blowout. I also noticed on my drive home that the car which was supposedly 'detailed' - was not clean. And by not clean, I mean DIRTY. I had been waiting the better part of the day for them to get done with the paperwork and they had plenty of time to clean it, but they didn't. It smelled like a wet dog. I realize I'm leaving an unhappy customer review, but I'm not making that up - I can't emphasize enough that I am not exaggerating in any way, shape, or form that they did not even detail it and it smelled that bad. It didn't smell that way when I test drove it so I don't know what they did to it. So, rather than drive back to Bountiful and having them put more wet dog smell on for me, I took it to my boyfriend's dealership at the auto mall at Southtowne and they detailed it for me properly and it was clean and had a great new car smell. (Really, it didn't seem to be that tough, B Mazda). That experience told me that in spite of a nice sales staff, their service department is LAZY. A little over a month or so later, I found myself stranded with a dead battery. Twice. The really fun part about this was calling Bountiful Mazda's 'roadside assistance' that was included in the extended warranty that I paid an extra 2 grand for. The main thing I have learned about their roadside assistance is that they don't actually come help you.... as they can't actually be bothered to answer the phone. I couldn't even get a live person to help me. Either time. What kind of roadside assistance is that??? Once I got a call back the next day (gee, thanks, took care of it myself) and the other time, nobody called me back. I tried called the dealership itself and nobody was available to assist me. You will be waiting a long time if you wait for these people to call you back. They simply cannot be bothered to detail a car, check for any failing parts, or do anything to assist you. Really UNCLASSY, Bountiful Mazda. I wish I would have bought a car from my boyfriend's dealership, but they didn't have many used cars. Bountiful Mazda has absolutely the worst customer service (even using the word 'service' seems like a joke) on earth and I would advise that their whole 'nice guy no pressure' routine is simply a ruse to make them seem like they're great, as if they are not like the other high pressure dealerships - but in reality they are JUST like any dealership. You will love the buying process. But wait until your pretty car breaks down and you'll find out what I'm talking about. Because you'll be taking care of those expenses yourself. I highly advise looking into a roadside service plan through someone else, if like me you got suckered into buying their stupid warranty. Also, listen to the guy who wrote a scathing review about their terrible service department, who advises to have them pull their inspection on the car before you buy it - you may save yourself some headache. Seriously. After reading those horror stories that match my experience, I'm unimaginably angry. Their logo actually says, "Our Customers are our Top Priority." Seriously? WHAT A JOKE.

This Bountiful Mazda dealership is unprofessional and lacks the ability to do what they say they can do. My phone calls were not returned promptly and the sales men were so interested in getting there commission that they didn't provide good customer service. They don't offer military discount and when I told them my max spending was $7000.00 out the door they applied for a loan that was roughly $8300.00 without my consent or knowledge, than when I called to verify this information they said I "was getting a good deal". This place is a joke.

I read online about cars and dealerships. I wanted a Mazda and I opted for Bountiful Mazda. Clay Charlesworth did everything he possibly could to help us in our search for a new car. As our "desires" changed, Clay didn't lose his patience. He found what we wanted and I am very happy. I'll get back to reviewing this experience after a year but I don't expect my opinion to change. I met a friend in the service department who has been buying his cars and bringing them for service to Bountiful Mazda for years and said he wouldn't go anywhere else.

Two car payments were just too much, So I made the decision to trade in both vehicles. Everyone worries about "The Game" of auto shopping. Pushy salesman who says one thing and does something totally different.. I was not looking forward to it, that's for sure! Nicole told me to come in and see what the guys can do for me... Knowing that I was going to have a horrible experience looking for a car as I was in need of getting rid of two car payments and only having one... I was NOT looking forward to the car shopping. I put it off as log as I could, and finally decided it was time... but where to go first?Nicole told me to come in, tell the guys what was going on and if possible they would make it happen or tell me what options I had. We went in there pre-approved through our bank ready to buy a car - We knew we wanted a Mazda from test driving one at another dealership. The whole thing should have been simple, but John the Salesman - Made us go through this whole run about and scammed us into applying for another credit line for the vehicles by saying that it was required by the patriot act. FYI - the patriot act only requires information upon purchase and not upfront ( He was trying to make the deal better for himself ). He even went as far as asking for a Down Payment? We were pre-approved for more then the amount the car was worth in order to save ourselves the headache. The place looked like a good establishment that we were eager to deal with, but because of some shady run around we will no longer be purchasing from this place. Watch out for John - at the least.

One week ago I stopped by Bountiful Mazda, during an acquisition sale, to shop for a new or slightly used car. I was immediately impressed, from initially driving on the lot, all the way through driving away in my new Mitsibushi Lancer. My sales representative was Jake. He helped my girlfriend and I look at a wide variety of cars. Jake took so many things into consideration. What seemed to appeal to us, what was in our budget, did it have the features we wanted, was it practical for our needs, etc. He was able to answer literally every question I had. Jake made the car buying experience so stress free. It took a couple test drives, punching numbers on a 2 cars, and finally I signed the dotted line for my new Lancer. Couldn't be more happy with the vehicle, the deal I got on it, and my experience at the dealership. Thank you Jake and Bountiful Mazda!!!!!

Tremendous experience! We were in the market to trade in our Mazda CX-7 for a newer Mazda vehicle. Our salesman, Bobby Montgomery, was very courteous and knowledgeable. We test drove three different vehicles during our visit -- a Mazda CX-5, Mazda Speed3 and Mazda 6. If he didn't know the answer to one of our questions about a particular vehicle, he would find out the answer for us versus making up a response like we've seen so many salesmen do in previous car shopping experiences. He was patient and gave us his full attention; even gave us some time alone a few different times so we could discuss what we wanted to do. In the end, we decided on a fully loaded 2014 Mazda 6. Awesome car! Great gas mileage, too! The entire Bountiful team worked with us to get us in the car at a price that made sense for us. To be honest, they bent over backwards! If you haven't been to Bountiful Mazda before, go see for yourself. It's like a family down there! Bobby and the entire management team absolutely know the car business and what customer service is all about. Overall, it was a truly professional experience and they've earned our business.

I was looking for a Dodge Caravan. Bountiful Mazda did not carry the van I was looking for, but Bobby had done some research and found some other models comparable to what I was looking for. They were not big enough, so he called around to other dealerships in the area and found me another one to look at. Unfortunately, the van at the other dealership had some damage and we chose not to buy. Bobby took a lot of time to help us try and find what we were looking for. Even though we bought somewhere else, I would go back to him in a heartbeat the next time I am looking into buying a car!! It is so nice to find nice, kind salesmen willing to go the extra mile!!

We are super pleased with Bountiful Mazda! Jason VanWagoner sold us our second Mazda this weekend. It was crazy busy this weekend, but Jason made sure that we were well cared for. Went in just looking around at the nice selection of Mazdaspeed3s that they had and ended up getting one for as much as I was paying for my previous car. Every step of the process was pleasant and easy. Jake was an excellent salesman to work with. He made sure every step of the process was clear and got me a great deal on the car to boot. Bountiful Mazda takes care of its customers. Oil and half off tires for as long as you have a Mazda is HUGE. Big reason I decided to get my Speed3. Well, that and it's a Speed3. It's the most fun I've had driving a car, and having a dealership that seems to want to help me take care of my car helps tremendously. I would definitely recommend Bountiful Mazda to anyone looking for a new car.

I've heard good things about the Mazda CX-5 and was in the market for a smaller SUV. I went into Bountiful Madza, was greeted by Jason and went for a test drive. I loved the car, and Jason was great to work with. He's friendly and laid-back -- not too pushy which is always nice. I also traded in my Honda Civic, and Jason got what I considered to be a very good trade-in deal. It was pretty much what I was thinking I might sell it for myself. They saved me the hassle! All in all, I would highly recommend the dealership, and Jason in particular.

Our experience was very great at this dealership. We went in and right away somebody was assisting us. The salesman Jake listened to what we wanted and needed out of a new vehicle we were hoping to purchase and was very conscious of our budget and definitely did not try to put us in a vehicle over our budget and was upfront about certain cars we noticed that would strain it. I would absolutely recommend this dealer and our sales person and would return to do more business with them. The finance manager was also extremely helpful and friendly and we did not have one negative experience there.

I stopped in without an appointment to see if someone there in the shop could look at my muffler which was pushed over a little and the exhaust was melting my bumper. Tyler helped me find a technician, and explained that I needed someone to take a quick look at the muffler. They suggested it might be better to take it to a muffler shop. I really just wanted an opinion so Tyler nicely encouraged them to take a quick look. They estimated it would take about a half hour and would charge me for that time. I agreed to that and Tyler took me to the waiting room and got me a drink. I started reading the paper, and literally 5 minutes later John came in to tell me that it was done. He said it was much easier to move than he thought. He showed me what he had done; it was completely back to the original position. He refused to charge me for the work because it was so easy and quick. I will absolutely bring my business back here because of the friendly service from Tyler, John and Chris, and also because of the others that offered help when I walked in the door. I love the feeling in the store as well; it's comfortable and I love the neon colors the salesmen where and the walls are painted. A great experience!

I bought my last Mazda from another local dealer in Utah. This time around I went to Bountiful Mazda and bought a Mazda 6 from Jason. I drove it right off the showroom floor once I got to a price I agreed on. The finance dept. could have been a bit smoother and the car had to be wiped down again because fingerprints were still all over it. Overall the experience was good and Jason seems to really care about his customers.

I used to have my Mazda6 serviced here after going to a competitor that was horrible. I have since traded the 6 and purchased two CX-5's from Bountiful. The service team at Bountiful ALWAYS exceeds my expectations. They are quick, reasonably priced, very nice, and they go the extra mile with customer service. The sales team (worked with Tim) was great, typical back-and-forth negotiating. But I got what i wanted and going to Bountiful for service is a positive experience every time. The only think I have disliked was how the car was out of alignment when I purchased it. I took it back in and they very graciously "fixed it." ... IT STILL IS OUT OF ALIGNMENT!! I bought my Mazdaspeed 3 up for a problem that I was having troubles with upon hard acceleration. To begin with they tell me that the price will be just $50 to diagnose but then it turns into $100 an hour for labor time when the problem becomes more than average. After tearing apart the engine to redo the timing and check the timing chain they still charge me $500 when absolutely nothing has been accomplished and the problem is still there and they have no idea what the problem is. Along with this problem when they were removing one of the motor mounts they found that one of the bolts had been cross threaded and they needed to order a new one which took them 3 days to get, so I was without my car for 3 days only to find that they didn't even fix the problem. Terrible service, I will not recommend and I will be sure to let my friends know that this is one of the worst stealerships!

I wanted to buy my first car and saw that this dealer was far superior to any around, I walked in and worked with hunter, up front I told him I didn't want to buy today and wanted to just look around, after taking the test drive I was hooked on the speed3, this is my first turbo car and I had a ton of questions, hunter knew everything about every aspect of the car and the company and gave alot of real life stories pertaining to my questions, he spent over 5 hours with me making sure everything was perfect and I was happy, got an amazing deal and who can complain about a 6 year warranty, I've needed a few things answered and taken care of recently and hunter/Debbie kept me up to speed with what I needed to do, I appreciate all the hard work. Tim was a great salesperson. He was not pushy at all. He was the only thing we appreciated about our experience. However, the other people and the dealership as a whole did not make us feel confident or very happy. We were pushing their business hours but when we called they said that would be fine. It may be a fine dealership for experienced car buyers but not first timers. They did not take the time to explain anything and at times made us feel poorly for not understanding. Everything was done as fast as they could and then they pushed us out. They literally locked us in the lot on accident. If they do not want to make a late sale then they should just say that upfront. If you buy used they make you feel like you are buying USED. How unfortunate.

I had been looking at a cx-5 for quite a while. I was currently talking to Freeway Mazda about a deal and decided to do my due diligence as a buyer and try out Bountiful Mazda. I explained to both places my situation: I was simply shopping around and wouldn't be able to pull the trigger for at least a few weeks as I was waiting on some incoming cash for a down payment. When I told Freeway Mazda, they said they would respect that. They then proceeded to call and text me every day to say "If you come in and do it today, I'll cut you a big deal!" When I told Bountiful Mazda my situation, they said no problem and didn't bother me at all. I would call them for questions and that's all they needed.The customer service was great and they cut me a sweet deal on a mazda cx-5. I absolutely love these guys and will use them in the future.

We were met by a very frendly sales person (Patrick) who spent a great deal of time showing us all about the Mazda5 including a very informative test drive. After he had our old car appraised there was no high pressure to get us to buy. He presented the figures and assured us it was a fair deal. My car recently needed some work done on it, and luckily I had purchased an extended warranty, as the manufacturer warranty was expired. Gary and Chris were so great to work with; they helped me deal with the extended warranty company, who was difficult to work with to say the least. Gary and Chris would call me on a regular basis to let me know how things were progressing, if I needed to turn in other service records, and were honest about what could happen if the company denied the claim. I never had to call them to ask what was going on, they called me nearly every day while the warranty company was making their decisions. They have been wonderful to work with, and I highly recommend them if you ever need work on your vehicle.

took forever to check car in and service tec. was very distracted, dropped off on saturday and told would be done on monday, couldnt pick up on monday so i called to let them know wont be able to pick up, showed up tuesday and car has not even been moved but i never got a call informing me or when i called they never informed me so i was late to work for nothing had to wait till wednesday and i again had to call to find out if car was done and was informed car has been done for several hours and had to hurry to mazda cause it was less than an hour to closing, then after finally getting car back windows no longer worked so had to look up online and found if battery is discounected windows need to be reset u think being a mazda dealer you would know this i even called with a consern about let a message and suprise suprise never got a call back to adress issue, and had gresse marks on my car as well, all in all it was very frusterating experience and next time ill just do the work my self instead of dealing with all this crap

See the inspection report! If you are purchasing a used car from Bountiful Mazda, make sure you ask to see the service departments inspection report. Please. Learn from my experience. My wife and I had wanted to purchase a Honda CR-V for about 6 months and we had been watching online for the right deal to show up. We had been watching a CR-V at Bountiful Mazda for about 3 months and noticed that in that time period the price of the car dropped a total of $4,000. With the significant price drop it was finally within our price range and we decided to check it out. A very common question when buying a used car is Whats wrong with it? this was one of the first questions we posed to our salesman when we looked at the car. Of course his immediate response was nothing and went on to explain how they perform a 120-point check on all used vehicles and customer satisfaction is very important to them. We took the car for a test drive and everything looked and seemed ok. When it came time to negotiating the price our salesman wouldnt budge and kept saying that they dont haggle prices and what the car is priced at is their best deal. I knew that wasnt true since I had watched the price drop over $4,000 in 3 months but I digress. So the sales manager in the glass room came out and gave us a sob story about how they were losing money on the car and how great a deal it was and how they couldnt afford to drop the price at all. The price was good, not great, and in the end we went ahead and purchased the car (cash, no financing). We purchased the car on a Saturday and since our local mechanic doesnt work on weekends we planned to take it to him on Monday to have it inspected by him. We were informed at the time of purchase that there is a 3 day no questions asked return policy as well as a 30 day 3,000 mile warranty on the vehicle so we felt safe in purchasing it at that time. Our mechanic checked the car out and found that the car was leaking oil. I contacted the service department but they said I would need to wait to talk to the service manager who was out of town before any warranty work could be authorized. So I waited a few more days and talked to the service manager. He had me bring the car in to be inspected and noted right away that in their own inspection report when they took the car in on trade they too had found the oil leak. Why was I not informed of this when I bought the car? Why wasnt it fixed before they put it back on their lot? What is the point of the 120 point inspection if it finds things wrong and then they do nothing? His response was that the service department is responsible for getting used cars to pass state inspection and emissions. After this point they make a note of any and all things wrong with the vehicles, this information is then passed to management and sales and it is at their discretion to disclose this information to the buyer. Does this seem ethical? Please ask to see these reports when buying a used car! After many phone calls and complaining to management they determined that the oil pan was leaking and it would be around $500 to fix. I was outraged that they would not cover the cost and that this was not covered in their 30-day warranty, especially since they knew about the leak the whole time! Again, after many phone calls they agreed to pay half of the cost of the repair, which was better than nothing, so I agreed. I brought the car in to have it fixed and soon after they called me to say that it wasnt actually the oil pan, but a hose that was a quick fix and they would repair it for free! Wow! Great! Stay tuned. About three weeks after they fixed the hose I again noticed oil on my garage floor. I took it back to the service department thinking that perhaps the hose had come loose and it was a quick fix. Upon inspection they concluded again that the oil pan was leaking and, again, agreed to pay half. I left the car with them that day. The next morning I received a phone call saying that in fact, it wasnt the oil pan that was leaking (surprise surprise) but in fact the leak was coming from somewhere around the engine. They noted that to remove the necessary parts and see where the leak was coming from would take 18 hours of labor and cost $2000! Just to see what the problem is! At that time they also mentioned that they were NOT going to cover any of the cost of the repair. They advised me to take my CR-V to Willey Honda down the road and see if they had any thoughts. So an $89 fee to Willey Honda confirmed what it took Bountiful Mazda four visits and over a month to figure out. That the leak was coming from somewhere near the engine and would cost at least $1000 to diagnose. What a nightmare. So that good deal I got in February is now turning into a terrible ordeal. Several things irritate me about my experience at Bountiful Mazda. First of all, had the sales staff informed me of the leak at the time of my purchase I would have absolutely investigated the leak further before giving them my money. Obviously used cars come with some issues and I am not delusional in thinking that every used car should be restored to factory new, but they should at least INFORM the customer. Secondly, if the service department would have taken more than 30 seconds to look at the oil leak they may have found where it was coming from and informed me earlier instead of dragging me along for months. Third, for a dealership that professes to be different and has banners in their showroom manifesting their commitment to customer satisfaction I found them to be no different than any other dealer. Once they have your money, they dont care anymore. Obviously there are many positive reviews of this dealership but just be aware that it is not all sunshine and rainbows at Bountiful Mazda. Because of my experience I cannot and will not recommend this dealer to anyone. It is easy to love your dealer when nothing goes wrong, but the true test of a dealership is how they treat the customer when something does go wrong, and in my experience Bountiful Mazda completely failed.

I have been a customer of Bountiful Mazda for many years. Buying different types of Mazda such as , the Navaho, the MX3, the CX7, the Mazda 6 and now the CX5. I have been extremely happy with all of them. On Feb.24, 2012 I was contacted by MJ Macdonald from Bountiful Mazda letting me know that the new CX5 was in, knowing that I was interested in this car. I bought it! Not only for loving the product that Mazda puts out, but for the Customer service that is given by everyone at this dealership, from the service department always friendly and accommodating to all my needs and fast service. The sales staff is there for me and not to just sell a car. They really care about what I want in a car and what I can afford. The leasing manager Debb is fantastic making sure that all the aspects of the lease is understood. She is so caring. I have not and will not shop at any other dealership. Thanks MJ for all you do.

I purchased a new Mazda CX-7 from Bountiful Mazda. This is my second CX-7 I have purchased in three years. After 100,000 miles of quality service to my first car, I was anxious to return to Bountiful Mazda for my next. Not only do I love the quality of my Mazda, I especially liked the support from the Service Department. They are friendly and helpful. The waiting area is so comfortable with access to free internet, coffee, etc. MJ McDonald and Tim were great to work with on the purchase of my new 2012 Mazda CX-7. I will definitely return to get my next car there.

The customer service at this dealership surpasses ALL dealerships! This was the absolute best car purchase experience I have ever encountered. They just took care of majority of the deal before I even arrived at the dealership. When I did arrive there everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend Bountiful Mazda to all my friends and family and anyone I hear talking about purchasing a car. Dallas started talking with me by phone and internet, when I arrived he introduced me to Tim who was phenomenal also. Then I had the pleasure of signing papers for my car with Debbie. I bought a Mazda 3 2010 in Aug of 09. We were talked into the warrenty to cover the windshield and paint. One of the selling points that your finaince manager used to sell this warrenty was telling us door dings would be covered on the Paint and forgot to mention that Window crack were only covered if they are under 1 inch. We were also told we had free tires for life if we had the car serviced through at your location. First of all the Free tires, NO 50% coverage yes (Big Differance) that was the first time we were let down by you, second time was yesterday when I called to use my Window warrenty because my window appearnty had a chip on the rain sensor that I could not see since it is black and speckled, and it crack about 10 inches very small hair line crack down the middle of the windshield, obviously it is not covered I found out when I call the next morning to get it fixed, but I know it is fixable because I have had them fixed before. On my way home form work lastnight I was hit with another rock right in front of the driver side, It is a rock chip the size of a dime, so I called today to have rock chip fixed before it spiders out and figured when the tech comes out to fix that, I would pay out of my own pocket to have the the crack fixed, But they now refuse to fix the new rock chip as well. I also inquired about having my a door ding fixed and it is not covered either. The warrenty I was sold is absoluty worthless, and your right shame on me for Trusting your finainace person and not reading over everything carefully, a mistake I won't make again, also another mistake I won't make again is buying from Bounitful Mazda. Your staff is freindly enough and comes across trust worthy, I will be sure to share my expieriance with as many people as possible. Shame on your orginization for pushing a product such as Cal-Tex. I wrote a review last night and after waking up, I need to say something else because I didn't say that Jason our primary sales person had a bad attitude from the start with us. Treated us with a down side questions negative about bringing back an aveo that just happened to have ticking sounds and hot odor from under dash. I previously spoke to Dallas first and he said just bring it back and wanted to make it right. Great! He did. Jason stepped up to close the deal to my surprise. OK well then he didnt really connect with me cause my wife was the decision maker. I would like to say I was on ksl for 2 days looking for cars and was just helping her. Didnt need to ignore me Jason. This guy represents your company. just thought you should know.Rick

Dallas was recommended by a friend as one who is honest, so I called him to see if he could locate a used pickup for me. He asked the pertinent questions and informed me that they didn't have one on the lot at that time but he would inquire of othe dealers to see what he could find for me. Within hours he returned my call with a pickup located and offered to have it available for my inspection the next morining. The truck was within my price range and mileage specifications. When I arrived Dallas met me in the lot and I was immedieatly at ease with him There were a few scratchs on the truck and a cracked front window which Dallas pointed out and informed me would be taken care of by the dealership. We took the truck for a test drive and Dallas was very informative as we drove and when we were through I was ready to buy. AFter I had purchase the truck for a week I noticed that the battery was a bit corrodided and a tire had a slow leak so I called the service department. The service manager informed me that since the truck had come from another lot that it most likely missed cooming through his shop and please bring it back so he could take care of which I did and I'm very pleased with the way I was treated. The touch up on the scracthes was done and the crack on the window was taken care of without a call from me. Overall a wery pleasent experience for me. And I feel the price was fair.

I gotta chime in one more time.... Do you think these dealerships are in it to go broke? They have to make money. Why would they sell you a vehicle wholesale and give you retail for your trade? How would they make money? Unlike other dealership I've dealt with around here like Cutrubus and a few others, Bountiful Mazda is VERY fair. They sell many units and make a little of each person. So, did you get ripped off or were you stupid? Don't blame your ignorance of the sales game on getting ripped off, educate yourself, go in, lay everything on the table and leave with your new car.... So, guys grow up...

It's blatantly obvious that the first few reviews were written by bountiful mazda. there is no way by chance that the first 3 gave perfect 5's all the way across. For that reason alone, I am not going there. Besides, they totally screwed my sister in law on a mazdaspeed3 and jacked up her payment 60 dollars more at the last second. forget them.

Offered way below trade for my car. Then they tried to throw the "well this is what your car goes for at auction" scam at me. They would NOT budge one penny on the price of the vehicle I wanted. Would NOT let me take any paperwork to the bank other than a plane sheet written in a Sharpie pen. Said it was best to finance through them. Yeah f'n right. So they can mark up my interest another 8 percent from what they got financed for??I walked away, and as soon as I did the price of the vehicle went up 800 dollars in their advertisments!!!!I expected much more from an actual dealership. Very disappointed.Gold chains, hairy chests, hawiian shirts. Nough said.DO NOT GO HERE.

I found the car I was looking for via Autotrader and then contacted them via email. I asked for the full, final price of the car, including all fees upfront before I got there. The price was a good price for the car.When I got there, they played the "salesman and manager" game back and forth, back and forth. "Sorry, I tried really hard to get the manager to do it, but he said no, but this is what we can do.... let me go talk to the manager again." We finally came to terms and they work up the paperwork and put it in front of me and it is NOT the price they gave me previous to my visit. It had new fees on it, security glass etching (scam), and a mandatory state document fee of $250 that they are required to charge all customers (yet they set the fee).The tires on the used car we bought were a little bald, but they said they passed inspection. A mechanic relative of mine looked at them later and said "no way" and I had to replace them.Anyway, the salesman and the sales managers were brothers and have a great scam going. They are the epitome of what gives car dealerships a bad name.Avoid this dealership at all costs, there are plenty of other dealers in the state that are more respectable.

I was getting a great deal on the car and then they try to rip me off on my trade.<br>It was 6,000 off the NADA and 5,500 off of KBB. I call a friend at a dealer and ask them to look up the auction price on the MMR and it was still 4,000 off. I would not go to them at all if you have a trade. <br><br>Then I sold my car (for 10500 more then they would give me in trade.) stopped by and work out a new deal had them fax the the paper work to get the price and the check to them. Stoped by the next day and said that I would be back ask if they would like 500 to hold the car they said no and then they sold the car out from under me!! They are the worst dealer go any where in UTAH but here. Just like the other reviewer they tryed to sell me a different car. Theygot very rude with me too.<br><br><br>I work out better for me any way. I bought form D. Dale for 1000 less then the frist car I got a hole in the top and Abs....<br>
