My wife and I were in a tight situation after my previous car was ran off the road by a drunk driver. My job being an hour away means I need safe reliable transportation. Brian was new to the area and we wanted to support a new business. We looked at a 2012Chevrolet malibu. My work schedule is a bit hectic, so I sent my wife to see about the car. The car had some cosmetic damage, but he assured my wife everything else was fine. He explained that he is a "pastor" she could trust him.. and honesty is a virtue. After financing the 2012 Chevrolet malibu was 20,000. That's more than a new one, but he explained that credit , and warranty were factors. Also the v6 engine, leather seats ,and sunroof were more expensive options. He agreed to paint the cosmetics....December Was when she bought the car. After I finally had a opportunity to inspect the car I noticed its damage was a little more than a stray, runaway shopping cart. I went and raised my concerns with Brian, he suggested that I deal with it for a year and get out of it, but it's nothing he would do to make it right. This car isn't a v6 which I pointed out to him, after some stuttering he said the "oh yeah that one has leather seats " ( which it does not) the seats are cloth with some vynil trim and were and still are filfthy. The car wasn't detailed, it's nasty. I've been waiting for him to paint it like agreed and was going to ask it be detailed ..but someday never seems to come. The car has left me sitting because of the corrosion on the battery. My tires are bald. And i noticed today my headlight is out. And my dented up p.o.s. car is STILL DENTED AND DIRTY!!!!! I went by 1 last time to see if the "preacher" would do my family and I right ,but since he thought I bought his p.o.s. car "as-is" he really didn't care. But i guess he forgot that the car is still waiting for promised work to be done, and hence cant be "as-is". I always knew the sales satus of the vehicle. Since it's the only purchase I'm focused on. He's got a lot of lines in the water I suppose ... hard to keep up with past promises while focusing solely on making new ones. I am a father of 2 boys. And step-dad to 2 girls and a boy. My young family could have kept Brian in business for years to come if he cared about making life long customers. Instead, now I'm trying to help keep other families from making my family's mistake. And in Brian's defence, the car wasn't originally 20,000. The 2012 Chevrolet malibu with 96,000 miles, basic 4 cylinder , CLOTH INTERIOR ,and bald tires, battery corrosion , chipped rims, and scratches and dents for $11,000. If tge price had vern posted, i would have laughed and kept driving. But i sent my wife to inquire.... I've since worked with my wife about predators. And explained that not all pastors lead the flock to heaven....
