We had blown a fuse in our Super Duty diesel (which we LOVE) and I couldn't find it. We bought a 2016 Ford Escape. Carman was our salesman and he was wonderful. He stayed late with us and explained all the features on the car and synced in our phones. We bought the car because of the Carman. Our last purchase from you, our Dodge truck, wasn't as pleasant as the salesman just wanted the sale and rushed us out when completed. Glad to see he is no longer with you. Carman's a keeper!

Once again, I got an email saying I missed my appointment. I did not miss my appointment. There is, apparently, no internal communication at Brown's Ford, which is unfortunate. They need to do some basic training of their staff about computer usage. I called to schedule the appointment because the last time, when I scheduled it on-line, they appeared not to know about the appointment. Then I got an email saying I had missed the appointment. They claimed to have made the correction. This time, the first email confirmed an appointment for the wrong day. I called and they claim it was corrected. Then I got the email after the appointment, saying I had missed the appointment. Their car work is fine, but their IT skills are lacking. May be bad enough to make me reconsider using them.

I was just in for a oil change and had my tires rotated. Staff was very pleasant. It took a little longer for the oil change than what I expected but they were very busy and they wash your car. When I purchased my car the salesman was great. The best buying experience I ever had buying a car.

Moved to Johnstown a couple of years ago with a 2013 Ford C-Max. Brown's provided excellent service throughout all my recalls and regular maintenance. I went in to test drive a Nissan Titan, I drove the Nissan but also the 2010 Ford F-150 XLT. Hands down the ford rode a lot better than the Nissan. I wasn't confident in purchasing a vehicle that day but the staff was extremely helpful in getting me into this truck and as a first time buyer it was a great experience. They got me the best deal I could possibly get with the financing. The entire staff was very cheery and made it a pleasurable atmosphere. Keep up the good work!!

I purchased a low mileage used vehicle that the dealership had listed on Cars.com. The entire staff that I dealt with at Brown's were extremely polite and helpful even though I was buying the vehicle from out of state. Once I had committed to buying the vehicle they helped me in getting all the paperwork complete and worked with my bank to secure the loan. It is probably unlikely that I will ever have the chance to buy from them again but I highly recommend this dealership. Ask for Ralph he was great to work with.

(I began needing a larger SUV and went to a smaller car after my husband suddenly bought a truck!) I ended up purchasing a Ford Escape. I love it! It is quick when you need it to be. The ride is smooth, and I like the ability to see instant MPG as well as overall MPG. I also like the backup camera-very helpful at night when backing out of a long, unfamiliar driveway! I came in to have my front wheels balanced on your Road Force machine. I dropped the car off on my lunch break and came back to pick it up at the end of the day. Unfortunately there was an issue with the Road Force machine so the car had to be balanced another way, and not until I was arriving to pick it up. Things happen, not a big deal. Your friendly car maintenance team were very helpful in testing our car after a power-steering problem. The monitor proved that nothing was wrong and the staff didn't cause any embarrassment to us for having reported it. The cost was minimal and the car is again working fine. When I moved to Johnstown from Massachusetts last November, I had a 2009 Passat. I needed a New York inspection, and Brown's provided it for 99 cents. I was impressed! Barb in service had been seeing to my parent's vehicle maintainence for years,and they were always happy and satisfied with the sales and service. When I decided to trade, I asked Barb to set me with up with a salesman, and she did. I was extremely happy with John Flint's professionalism and expertise. I am very happy with my Escape, and with everything at Brown's.

This is the third vehicle we have bought here. One reason is that when I come in and say that I am just looking; no matter how many times I come in with another question you are always accommodating. Your sales staff always knows that I have decided on a vehicle when I come in with out my notebook of questions.Thank you, for knowing enough not to push too hard for the sale, as I have walked away from other dealers who had what I wanted, but treated me as if I was an uninformed woman and not as someone who knows what she wants and gets it.

I brought my 2010 Escape to the dealer for a NYS inspection and an oil change. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was there a little longer than I expected but it was only because of how busy the staff was that morning. While I was there, there were 2 walk in customers and a couple of appointments - not one complaint from anyone.

We called ahead and Mr. Flint had the two cars we were interested in parked up front. Prior to our visit we checked on the web site and saw a car we thought we would be more interested in so we test drove that one first and also test drove one of the other two cars we were interested in. Mr. Flint was informative and up front about one problem with the vehicle we decided on. We were disappointed that the problem had not been fixed since the car had been on the lot at least since November and we would have to pay to have it fixed by a Chevrolet dealer at a cost of $300-$500. Regardless we did purchase the car and it was just what we were looking for. There was no problems with the paperwork. It was appreciated that the whole deal was done that day. Another disappointment was that time was not spent with us to go over the specs of the car; i.e. all that was done was changing the clock on the car. We were told the car had an automatic car starter but we don't know how to use it as it was not explained. We feel all of this should have been explained before driving off the lot.

My husband and I were looking to buy a new (to us) vehicle for quite a while. We finally came across what we wanted for the right price. We called this dealership to set up a test drive and the guy we talked to said the price was $2,000 higher than on cars.com. I immediately got back on and it was still the lower price, but the next day they had indeed raised it $2,000. It didn't make any sense since the car had been on their lot for 5 months. Guess they didn't really want to sell it. I'm not into playing games like that.

I was introduced to Ralph Marotta. He was patient and as easy going as could be. He didn't talk down to me when I asked stupid questions and he didn't try to impress me or show off his "Super Car Knowledge". On March 11th I wrote a review about our experience buying a vehicle at Brown's Ford. John Flint took very good care of us after we had purchased the vehicle from another salesman. John helped get us an extra key as the vehicle only came with one. I had put in my last review that it took us 5 hrs to get it done. That was NOT about John helping us. It was about our experience with the out of town salesman that sold us our vehicle.

A visiting salesman that sold me the vehicle lied to us 4 times. 1] He said they wouldn't cash my deposit check until March 8th,they cashed it March 6th.. I could of had bounced checks because of it. 2] He said my 1st car pmt wouldn't be due until around April 15th. It's due March 28th. 3] He said my car insurance would go down, it went up. 4] He said they would order me an extra key. He didnt do it, I had to go back in and order it my self with the help of John Flint. We got there at 8 45 a.m. and left there at 2 45 p.m. We were never offered any food while we sat there for 5 hrs.

Although we really weren't in the car purchasing mode, they were interested in our vehicle, a 2006 Mountaineer in excellent condition. There was no wait time, we were treated very pleasantly, and were given a full review and discussion of their interest by John Flint.
