We have gone to other dealerships in the area to buy a new car over the past couple of months. One in particular was like a 3 ring circus once we got to the negotiations. We left with our heads spinning and not feeling at all good about it. The next day we drove down to Burke and it was a totally relaxed, easy, and even pleasant process. Rich our sales guy was completely helpful but laid back. The trade in value was what we expected and the price was right as well. When we went to pick up our car the next day. We were in and out of there in less then an hour, and that included Rich giving us an "in service' on the car. Donna from the finance department had every piece of paperwork prepared and kept asking us if we had any questions. I have never written a review on anything in the past but I want everyone to know that they should start at Burke to save themselves, aggravation, time and money!

Jim Mundy was outstanding. He took the time I needed on making my decision with no pressure whatsoever. He took the time with me and laid out the different methods of either financing or taking the lease which I eventually did. He spent a lot of time explaining the inside and outside of the car which can be a little overwhelming. We purchased a pre-owned 2014 GMC Terrain from Burke. We found the vehicle online and decided to drive from Maryland to New Jersey to see it. Everything described online was exactly as it was in person. After checking out the vehicle on a Friday, we decided to purchase the vehicle on Saturday. We were traveling from central Pennsylvania and were running late. We called to tell them we would be arriving close to closing time and were told it was no problem and to keep heading that way. We arrived when they should have been going home for the day. Shout out to Dave Blews and the rest of the group who went above and beyond. This was my second purchase of a new truck from Burke Motors and during both transactions, I was extremely impressed and satisfied with the entire staff and facility. I was very impressed at how low stress and informative the sales and financing personnel were and that they honestly and thoroughly researched and sought to get me the best price and financing possible. They had an excellent selection of vehicles to choose from and I have nothing but the best dealings with their service department. Each time I have had my truck serviced, The personnel were quite friendly and personal with me and from everything I could observe, treated my vehicle as if it was their own. The little things like that is why I feel that this puts Burke Motors above and beyond expectations.

Got the word while traveling on a Saturday that my 2010 Cadillac SRX had finally bitten the dust at 272,000 miles so I called and left a message for Al Harris the salesman that I had dealt with 6 years ago when purchasing the SRX, that I would be in on Monday to buy a new car. Al called me first thing Monday and we arranged to meet.later that morning. We had no idea what vehicle we wanted to purchase since this wasn't a planned purchase but Al was very patient with us...told him our price range and that we qualified for the GM Supplier Discount. We eventually test drove (4) different makes and models before deciding on a 2016 Chevy Malibu. The process was seamless from beginning to end...absolutely no hassle or pressure at any point. Took us about (2) hours to pick out the car and we came back later that afternoon to pick it up...only took about 10 minutes to sign the documents and finance papers, great rate by the way, and off we drove with our new Malibu. Love the car, love the dealership...sales department is great to deal with and the service department has always been stellar in performance. I'm 58 years old and have been buying GM brand cars since I was 18....this is by far the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of purchasing a car and having it serviced. I highly recommend this dealership for purchases and service!

I have recently purchased a 2016 2.5i Limited Outback at Burke Motor Group. The experience was wonderful. The sales person was very knowledgeable. The car arrived almost a month earlier than the ETD. When the car came in, he went over every detail to be sure I understood all of the car's features, I traded in my 2014 Outback, and the trade in price was right on, as was the price of my new tungsten 2016. Compared to where I bought the 2014, Burke Motor Group are superstars. After 2 months worth of car searching and dealing with dishonest, sneaky salesman, it was a breath of fresh air once I went to Burke. I did all my research, knew the car i was purchasing inside out, and knew the price point of which we we looking for. I went there solely for the 2014 Buick Enclave that I saw on a website. Communication began via email and i was in contact with Ned Hood as well as Greg Southward the manager. They provided me information on the vehicle and we set up a time for me to go and see it. I live in Mount Royal so it was risky to drive all the way to Cape May, but I felt it was worth it to see this car. Ned greeted me and we didn't waste any time, we headed out for a test drive. Afterwards, we discussed trade-in and price of the car. "The haggling" was essentially non-existent. It was almost as if i was just discussing the price of the car with a regular ol joe, rather than a car salesman that was trying all his tactics to get us to pay top dollar. He was flexible in meeting my needs for the vehicle price. The entire process of: test-drive to car price and deal was about an 1hr. Pretty much a record based on previous experiences. Being a female you expect to be looked down upon or looked at as if you don't know what you're doing. It was not this way at all. I felt respected and treated well. I felt ZERO pressure and comfortable. Ned was WONDERFULl to do business with and i HIGHLY recommend him. Greg, the manager, wasn't stiff and uptight. He was laid back and didn't try any gimmicks. There was no back and forth 50 times but rather right to the point. It was the best car buying experience I've had and i have already told everyone i know that when they are in the market for a new car to go see Ned Hood at Burke Motor Group. You wont be disappointed!

My parents have been purchasing vehicles from Burke since the early 1980s. The first vehicle they bought was a truck from Al Harris. Today, I just purchased my first truck from Al, a GMC Sierra 3500 Denali. Al Harris has always taken great care of my family and I when it comes to cars. He's helped my parents make great choices from the truck through the "kids" minivan phase and back into fun and purposeful SUVs. Every vehicle we've bought has been good quality and all service and maintenance has been great! You can't go wrong with Burke! For my truck purchase, I want to thank Alan Klein, Donna Lawless, and of course Al Harris. Alan helped me get started with the truck search, was extremely helpful, and was kind enough to understand that I wanted to work with Al Harris once he got in. Al was great as usual and knew just what I needed before I did. Donna handled all of the paperwork and I have to say that was a breeze with her expertise! They always make it feel like you're working with family there. For once I know I'll actually enjoy waiting for my regular maintenance with their friendly staff and nice lounge. If I don't want to wait, it's also fantastic that they have a shuttle service to take you home. I used it yesterday and their driver, William, was great to talk to and got me home safe.

I factory ordered a VW GTI with performance package. Burke was the only dealership in the area that gave me a great deal without hesitation. Most of the other dealers had a waiting list for these cars and gave me the line - "MSRP take it or leave it." AJ and Jim were super friendly and they even offered to buy my trade for well over book value. I was also pleasantly surprised by their finance manager, who explained all the paperwork and not once tried to push over-priced extras on me.

I had no intention of buying a car. I went to Burke's to look at a Crosstrek - I had intentions of trading my car in June. I realized that it was too small for my needs. Dave suggested that I look at a Forester - I asked how much I would get for a trade-in and he immediately took my car - gone for 10 minutes and came back with a price. Worked up the numbers for me and it was a deal I couldn't refuse - I walked away with a 2015 Forester and am paying 120.00 less that my other car payment which was also a Forester. Dave was the best sale man I have ever worked with - no pressure - "here it is and this is what it cost." My husband and I went to Burke to look into a lease or purchase of an SUV. This was the first time in years that I have actually gone with him to select a car because my experiences with car salesmen and dealers had always been one of high pressure and fast talk. Although I dreaded the trip to Burke, my husband assured me that this visit would be better than I was expecting. Al Harris worked with us, and from the moment we met him, I was completely relaxed. His explanations regarding our choice of a lease or a purchase were clear and concise, and he made suggestions about which SUV's would best meet our "wish list". He set up our test drives and when we returned, he gave us plenty of time to make our own decision. Because of his easy approach and his willingness to give us time to consider our options, we settled on the Cadillac SRX. Just bought my 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe in Burke Motor Group,and it's a great experience.Actually I wasn't expect much on this car at first,but after they called me and invited me to look at the car,I went there and saw a beautiful car right in the parking lot...it was my Infiniti.After test drived it,I found that this car works really good even if it's kind of old and the mileage is above 10 grand.This car was maintained so well that literally nobody could tell that it's already an 10-year-old car.Also after I drove it to the workshop and had people tested it,I was told that the whole condition is great.But the price is really really fair.So I really appreciate it and I think I'm lucky.Thanks.

I found my particular used vehicle through extensive internet research. I called the dealership in the morning to make sure that the vehicle was still available before I drove the 45 minutes in the rain. Later that afternoon I walked away with my new used car. I was given a fair price for my trade-in and they even through in a bumper to bumper warranty for free and helped me sync my phone to the bluetooth. Unlike other dealerships where it can take 4-6 hours to get approved for your loan and complete the buying process, we were in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours. ( Test Drive and cleaning out my old truck included. ) In addition, a few weeks later when my new license plates came in they mailed them to me instead of making me drive the 45 minutes to and from the dealership to pick them up. Thumbs up Joe... Overall, I was treated fairly and with respect. I received a fair price for my trade-in and a great price and warranty for my purchase. The staff was very efficient when it came to processing the loan and completing the buying process. Their follow up service even after the purchase was great. After over a week of exchanging info by emails on a new buick a confirmed appointment and pricing for 10/22/14 at 11am james hannan the sales person told me the car we were looking at was sold !! wow I offered to put a deposit on it so it would still be available? was advised they only take deposits on on cars sold ?? asked why tues. 10/21 was not good and his reply was he was off ,my response take your day off however call me if some one comes in and is interest in the same car we had been looking at . WHY is this same car still on their website today ????/? I know the only update weekly or monthly ?? Was the car ever there ?? will we ever know ? I was Never treated like this before,could have called/ or email to say it was sold !!!! and I had more then 16 gm vehicles and two in my garage now ,the last one took me 10 min to buy over internet this was even out of state ,I must of gotten the newest guy as I had to walk him thru incentives that I had in front of me,some reason they don't advertise them ? Whats a 60 mile drive one way, In between caring two family members extremely sick ,only to find out how Inconsiderate one person and dealership can be.

I don't write reviews often and I buy a new car even less often but my experience with Burke Subaru and David Hand in particular warrants it. David treated me with kindness and respected my time constraints in a way that most car salesmen don't understand. He was the right mix of attentive without being overbearing. They didn't have the CrossTrek my mom wanted in stock but David was able to locate one and offer it to me for less than the actual dealer that had it in stock offered it to me for!!! To top it off they gave me more for my mom's trade in than the Ford dealership next door to them (that shall remain nameless). If you are in the market for a CrossTrek, or any Subaru, I personally recommend Burke and David and would suggest to you that you drive out of your way for a welcomed experience in the car business.

After doing a lot of research on what new SUV that we should purchase, we finally decided on the 2015 Subaru Forester. We called several dealers to find out what they had in stock and during that research, we spoke with James Hannan at Burke. After doing some online research of small SUVs, I settled on the Forester and one other. When I set out to test drive each of them, I began with Burke and had the good fortune to be helped by Jim Mundy. He was extremely courteous, friendly and professional and couldnt have been more helpful to me. There were absolutely no high-pressure tactics. Jim understood that I was going to be test driving one other make of car and that seemed fine with him. Nevertheless, I was right back with Burke and Jim as both the Forester and the treatment at Burke were better in my opinion that my other choice. We bought a used Mini Cooper at Burke and Joe Battaglia was our sales person. We had a small engine issue with the car within the first week and Joe got us in to the service department who promptly found the problem and corrected it. Since the issue arose in the first week of purchase, Burke picked up the cost of the repairs. A good dealer should have done this and Burke stepped up right away and fixed the issue. Very pleased with our experience.

My first experience with Burke was a nightmare, and after walking out on a salesman that paid me no respect as a woman and the person in charge of the finances of my household I swore I would never return. My husbands boss at the time made a phone call and asked his friend to help us. After much convincing we returned to Burke and had our first encounter with Al Harris. Our second experience was night and day to our first. We purchased a 1997 GMC Safari that day which we still own today. In 2005 we return to Al and purchased a 2002 GMC Yukon Denali. We had some front end problems with it while on vacation in Hershey PA and we called Al and he took care of getting the service manager to call us and get us taken care of. When it came time to purchase a new car it wasn't even a question who we were calling. We made an appointment and he was waiting. What I admire the absolute most about the entire experience is I told Al how much I could afford and asked him not to show me anything above that. He is a true profession. Not once did he consider crossing that line. There was no issue from start to finish. Everything was processed correctly on time with the prices I was quoted. Al Harris is an absolute asset to your business and I hope you show him that you value him as an employee. Donna that processed all our paperwork was extremely professional. She took her time and explained as she went. I appreciated the attention to detail. Your staff made me feel like a valued customer. I will be a customer of Al Harris for life.

Purchasing a new car is a stressful experience, however, my purchase of a Passat last week was a very pleasant experience. My salesman, James Hannan, was very friendly and extremely helpful. I met with James on a Tuesday at Burke Motor Group to discussed exactly what I was looking for in the car. The car I wanted was not on their lot. They located the car in Pennsylvania Tuesday afternoon, and it was driven to Burke on Wednesday. The car was cleaned, and I picked it up Thursday afternoon. All-in-all a very professional transaction by both James and Burke Motor Group. Thank you.

Unlike too many other dealers I visited, The Burke salesman showed patience, knowledge and no pressure. I despair when I go car shopping because of the high pressure, insulting, really stupid tactics so many dealers foster. My husband and I purchased a 2014 Acadia from Burkes salesman Al Harris. After researching several vehicles we stopped in and tried it out. We were pleasantly surprised with the comfort and ride of this car. I use this car for outdoor shows and festivals so we had the dealer install a tow package. The work was done timely and we are very happy. We have had the car for 2 weeks and continue to find more things to like about it every day. One of the nicest cars we have ever purchased. I'm one who never enjoyed the car-buying process until I found Burke Motor Group and Al Harris. My first experience with Al was when I bought a '94 S-10. Since then, I've bought nine vehicles for me, my wife or for the company for which I work. I have also recommended friends to Burke. My last purchase was a 2014 Equinox. There are many reasons why I only go to Burke, even though I travel from Millville. I am always treated well, no pressure, and everyone goes out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. The facilities are spotless and the service is excellent, but most important is that I always get an excellent price on the new car and the best trade-in values of any dealer. The primary reason I choose Burke though is that Al Harris will work very hard to make me happy. He invests unending efforts to get me the car I want with all the options I want and none that I don't need, to save me money. He often will locate one for me to get the perfect car. When I bought the Equinox, I got a call from him just before the scheduled delivery to tell me he found yet another rebate. I will come back to Burke for one of the new Colorado's next year!

This is our second car purchase at Burke Motor Group. The first was a new car and we were very satisfied with how we were handled. This time we bought a used vehicle. James Hannan was a great salesperson. Once we picked out the car we thought we wanted he ok'd us taking it home for the weekend, since we live locally. That was the ticket. We decided by the end of the first day that we wanted the car and went back to the dealership to do the paperwork. No pressure, that's what we love about Burke!!! We are totally happy with our used car, that came with a one year warranty!!!!! I would highly recommend this dealership.

I have had the opportunity to purchase at least three vehicles through the Burke Motor Group through James Hallaran. This salesman is truly an upfront salesman when it comes to answering your questions about the vehicle you are interested in. If he doesn't have the answer, within minutes you will have an answer because James will research and get the answer for you. I have purchase at least 5 vehicles from Burke Motor Group over the years and have never had a major problem with their product. Three of the vehicles were through James and he always treated me like I was something special. This salesperson is a credit to Burke Motor Group and in my eyes always will be. Another part of Burke Motor Group is the service you get from the Service Dept that is through Mike and his other associates. He is very knowledgeable about the product and treats everybody on an individual basis as one. This is the reason I look to Burke Motor Group and will always go to Burke for my next vehicle

I have been working/managing in a customer service business for 20+ years and must commend you on your employee, Mike Gavenda! This is the first time that I have brought my vehicle to Burke for repair and start to finish, it was amazing! From the time that I dropped the vehicle off, to the phone call from Mike explaining the mechanics recommendations, to the call after the test drive to let me know that something unforeseen had arisen that needed to be addressed with my brakes and that he would stay until it was done so I could pick my vehicle up, to going over the bill item by item and explaining all that was done as well as some things that needed attention that I decided to wait on, quoting a price and sticking to it and the icing on the cake, had my car detailed at no charge! I cant say enough good things about my experience with Mike and your customer service at Burke. I will definitely be back and tell all of my friends and family.

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Burke's Used Lot back in December after a bad accident and needing a car quickly. I had worked mostly with Joe Battaglia and his manager, Greg. They were a pleasure to work with. Joe helped me to narrow down my search to a few vehicles that I liked and I test drove them that day. It was the right price and such a smooth process, I bought that week! I am now having my oil changed at Burke's Service Department and decided to share my wonderful experience. Now, the service department even offered a shuttle service to drop me off and pick me up at home while I wait for my vehicle!

Shopping for a car is about as much fun as going to the dentist. I drove almost an hour to get to Burke. Being on a super tight budget and being super picky, I never thought I'd find what I want. I was a difficult customer to say the least. I wanted it all & was not so sweet. I was so used to getting the run around & feel a little guilty about it now. It's been almost a year & my 2011 Jetta looks & drives just as good as the day I bought it. I'm very pleased & will definitely shop Burke again.

From the first time we expressed an interest in replacing our vehicle through to purchase, we were provided options to meet our needs so that we could select a car that was right for us. The informative website with plenty of photos and accurate descriptions made it possible for us to review vehicles on-line saving us time. The sales staff was patient while we test drove and considered several cars in the inventory over a few week period. They were even willing to search for a vehicle if it wasn't on their lot.
