Honestly, I loved how easy it was for my first time buying a car. They definitely helped me get into my dream car and although I was there for a LONG time, it was mostly me being indecisive. They made me feel fine, knew how to calm my anxiety when the numbers weren't right and even service has been exceptional because I thought I was having a glitch in the entertainment center and they checked it in a timely manner to make sure everything was right.

This dealership service department goes beyond the norm to treat it's customers well. The ride service they offer helps when you don't have time to wait. Paul is fantastic. Terrible experience here, go to any other dealership in the valley. I needed a replacement key for my car (lost mine) and they were outstandingly inefficient and unhelpful. First of all, I’ve been here a few years ago to get a key for the same vehicle and they didn’t have any of my information saved and needed me to prove once again that I own the vehicle. The last time I went the new key only cost $20, this time it was over $50??? They hassled me because of their lack of information and service history - You would think they save for customers. Obviously my car registration is INSIDE THE VEHICLE and they asked for proof. How would I get this if I’m coming to the dealership FOR A KEY??? I luckily had my registration email and sent it to the guy helping me at his request multiple times, he kept saying he never got it. Finally I was able to find a photo of my registration and then he said he couldn’t accept that. Ask yourself, what other options would I have to present my registration if it is inside my vehicle that I am coming to get a new key for. After over 2 hours here, the manager was able to “approve” my photo proof. Thankfully I got my key and got out of there. I wouldn’t waste any more of my time at this place if it was the last option.

I had called ahead and spoke to a manager named Jason, that I ended up working with throughout the entire experience. Phil the sales person was equally as helpful. I purchased a vehicle for the first time with no stress, hassle or haggling! I highly recommend them!

If google allows a half or even less star than, i would have rate that .....The Finance manager (says the owner of the showroom) is a pathetic ,insensitive, cruel, cheater , egoist and xxxxxx person. He puts you straight on bullet point and says YES or NO with no specifications. He makes people feel that he is doing a favor by selling the car. I will never recommend anyone going in there and doing any business. I request people not to encourage business man like him because you never know you will be the next one to get humiliated and wasted 3 -4 hours for something which another person is not selling but pretending that doing a favor to you.This is a real incident and i am not just writing for any favors, but want that all human beings should get respect and businessman like him should realize that business always comes with customers.

As a 1st Time Hyundai buyer I was pleasantly surprised on the 10 yr warranty and safety features. My trade in had 55,000 miles so I am happy to know that I am in now in a reliable vehicle.. (Ruben was very helpful, but he was not there on the day I made my deal, so he should not be penalized for my dissatisfaction.) This is my 3rd leased vehicle, and this was the most painful process I've had. I was in the dealership for approximately 6 hours on the day of the deal and most of it was spent waiting around for someone to come update me on the process. It was tedious and I was not updated on how long I should expect each step to take. I had decided not to make a deal that day, but then they said they were going to "beat the competition". When they finally had a number (several hours later), it was only $0.15 cents less than the competitor. They dragged me along only to knock off pennies. I felt like I was being lead on until I was too tired to say no. It was miserable. My deal just cleared today (2 weeks after signing the paperwork), and I am still waiting on a check that the dealership owes me. I don't know if they are understaffed or poorly managed, but I won't be returning to Camelback Hyundai for my next lease.

I think I covered my terrible exchange I experienced in your dealership. I think the " Show me the money will be highlighted in my review of your dealership. My gas tank was not filled up and my car that was supposed to be washed had water stains all over. I was told it would be washed but was not. You people were the most unprofessional car dealership I have ever experienced. My sales person was nice but incomplete in explaining the car. He would not let me go on the highway stating it was rush hour. The transaction took about 4 hours and then I was rushed out of the dealership as everyone wanted to close. No one I come in contact with will ever even walk in your dealership.

The good thing with this dealer is they try and respect your needs when it comes to the sales personnel the managers are a little pushy but the manager Gary did a great job with finding me and helping me get the best deal I could. I was disappointed with the customer service after the sell, I had the car for a week, less than 100 miles on the car and somewhere I picked up a nail/screw in the tire and it had to be replaced, I called and spoke with my salesman to see if it mite be covered by the dealer/manufacturer or maybe the extended warranty I purchased. He told me he didn't know and transferred me to the finance Department, they told me they didn't know but would get back to me and never did, in any event I had the car a week and had to buy a tire, as I was not going to wait on a call that never came.....I am disappointed they did not call and tell something you know even if there was nothing they could do about it they should of returned me call.......Over all it was a good experience ( But did fell a little disrespected when finance didn't call me back Stuart Ferguson

I brought my son's 2016 tucson for service due to a severe issue with the car switching on its own to neutral although it is in drive mode, if you youtube tucson 2016 trouble you will see that we are not the only ones with the issue.The service man told me the car is fine and no errors showed on the computer.He lied!They have full knowledge of the problem and by giving me the car back in its condition put my life at risk as well as my son, daughter in law and their 8 month old baby.Sure enough a few days later my daughter in law and the baby got stuck with the car with the same issue in 110 degree heat.While visiting the service department i was shocked to see an outdoor service area at 110 degrees in PhoenixIt really lookes like a garage in Mexico No way these service guys can affecrively and afficiently do their job in these conditions. Im surprised the dept of labor is not shutting them down.The service manager David was very rude and the dealership manager is a chicken not responding to phone callsBottom line, Stay Away from this dealership and think twice before getting a Hyundai.

Started with this dealer replying to my TrueCar/USAA inquiry, even though they didn't have the car I wanted. Seems to them customers don't ever want what they ask for. I accepted the dealers first offer and made arrangements to go down to see the car I wanted in a different color. They bring the car up to show me and it is filthy and covered in bird poop, I'll never understand why anyone would think a customer would want to see their new car like this. After a few brief apologies they agreed to get the car cleaned up, what came back from the wash was a black car with dirt/grime all over and bad water spots, it looked several years old. Again, why would a customer want to see this. I wasn't thinking of buying that car, but going elsewhere. The salesman offered to have the car detailed, and finally after a couple of hours it looked great and I was sold. It had been 5 hours to finally see the car I wanted to buy. On to financing: my bank check isn't good enough and I need secondary financing, decided not going to go that route and I offered to let them keep the car until check cleared and they would make sure the car looked EXACTLY the way it did that night. Dealer got paid two days later, but I never got a call. 4 days later I contacted them to see about the car since they didn't call me. Salesman says I can come get car and we agree I would come by at 10AM the next morning, he was going to have the car detailed again so it would look like I wanted. I arrived and salesman is not there and another salesman tells me car isn't ready its being washed. About 30 minutes later, the car is pulled up and its covered in water spots, dirty smears all over and the windows are smudged from dirty rags. I complain that this was NOT what we agreed on and was told if I would wait some more they would re-wash/detail the car. I had already wasted 7 hours with these guys and they make it sound like It was so hard to make the new car look new. I didn't haggle their offered price and only wanted the car clean and ready for me. Needless to say, I did not wait for them to clean the car as they had agreed/offered, I decided I had had enough and just wanted to leave. The last straw was when I got in to drive my dirty car off the lot, it didn't even have a full tank of gas. This dealer actually puts that on the sticker that you get a "Free Tank", but salesman says to wait while he runs off to do this. Really? You didn't check to see if the car had gas and was clean for the appointment the customer made to pick it up?!Overall the dealer never took any time to find out what I wanted, never tried to make the experience pleasant, didn't fulfill the promises they claim are standard to all their sales, never kept me informed or showed any sign that what I was experiencing was unsatisfactory. I should have walked away but I just wanted it to be over, and kept getting more and more disappointed.Are these folks the worst dealers ever? No, but they sure made me feel like I was really a burden to them. Would I recommend them to others? No, you can find better deals and service if you try, these people probably would be ok if they started to see their volume dwindle, but right now they don't have to take care of customers so they don't.Will I buy my next car from them? Probably not. The experience I got taught me that I should have walked away early on when I started feeling unappreciated. Oh well, hopefully others will have a better time. Best of luck!

I'm not sure that the "deal" was in my favor. I just wanted a Tucson and was talked into a 2016 Sonata. I really just wanted my 2016 Elantra back. I do feel that I was talked into something because my vehicle was not available to return to me. Everyone was very nice. Just feel it was too aggressive salesmanship.

I had a 10:45 appointment with Kristen to buy a new Elantra and she was running late and wasn't even there. I was told by the receptionist to just have a seat and wait for her that she would show up soon. 15 minutes later after I walked the parkinglot looking at cars she still wasn't there so I just left. 10 minutes later she calls me wondering where Im at and I told her what happened and instead of owning up to to her mistake she says oh well there must of been a misunderstanding. This place is a joke, One person in the whole dealership greeted me and it was a kia salesman across the parkinglot when I first pulled in.

I pretty well knew what I wanted when I went in and Joel helped me get it. I was a bit disappointed that I was not able to explore the Sonata hybrid and was actively discouraged by another member of the staff from looking at one.

I told the Saleman one thing they came back with other BS, for example they asked how much I drive I told them roughy 15k or more a year they present me a offer with only 10k a year for more then we talked about. I spent almost 5 hours in a chair. Salemans I had didn't have any info on the car or what he was doing

My twins who are 24, one of their girlfriends and her 4 yr old son were in a horrific accident the day before my visit to Hyundai Camelback. I did not go in with the intention to purchase a car I went in with the intention to think the sales person Michael who sold me my Elantra a year earlier. If it was not for the fact that my children were in the Elantra with such good airbag support they may not be alive today. 'Kristen greeted me in the parking lot with a smile and when I asked for Michael explained that he no longer work for the company and she graciously listen as I shared my story and shed a few tears. She was so kind and compassionate she shared her story my story with her team and 'Kristen and her team worked tirelessly to assist me in getting into a new vehicle yes another Elantra this time a 2017. From Kristen to her managers to the finance department I was treated very well everybody was kind and understanding and getting me into a vehicle isn't always easy because as a single mom Who raised my five children on my own I do not have the best credit. Yet I was treated as if I had a pocket full of money and excellent credit everybody was kind. Kristen took extra time with me as did her team and they often comforted me and rejoiced with me that my children had survived this awful accident. This is now my third Hyundai my second from Camelback Hyundai. Because of the kindness I was shown the compassion and the safety features of my car do you want truck I am my Camelback Hyundai customer for life. Many thanks to 'Kristen and her team for the kindness and compassion they showed to a relieved and thankful mother. When you look at the pictures of my 2015 Alandra you would understand how serious the accident was and how the kindness that this team and 'Kristen showed me that day is made a difference in my life and a life of my family. While the facility and the personnel are very nice I am unable to comprehend why a service oriented business would send away sales. Most people have to work in order to pay their monthly car payment and on the most part that entails Monday through Friday 8-5pm. We have to do our service errands on weekends and they are closed on Sunday! I will never for the life of me understand the reasoning on losing business like that - I guess they want to provide service, but not that much service :-(

Was sent a card that I won a $5 Walmart card in their promotion mailer. Went to the dealer and my number matched. Made me take a test drive and kept me there for almost 30 minutes. After jumping through the hoops, they told me the cards were "at home." refusing to honor a lousy $5 card is indicative of their lack of ethics. I went to a couple of them and didn't find the sales agents very help in trying to accommodate my budget, nor did I find a great selection of what I was looking for. The sales and finance staff are nice and friendly. This should have been a sign. I had to resign the paperwork for my car multi times. Each signing brought with it a higher interest rate. 2 or 3 weeks after originally signing, they finally found a lender. The car is 3 years old, $15,000 financed. I immediately need to replace the tires, approx $450, the brakes need replacing and the a/c blower motor is going out as well. The dealership said they will look at the a/c but they will not fix it. The need to replace the tires is partially due to the poor quality previous alignment job. The dealer agreed to re-align but not until after the loan is funded. Now that I have called the lien holder and confirmed that the loan has funded, (the dealership never called to inform me), I will attempt to get the alignment through the service department. The person that helped me in finance, set me up on a bi-weekly payment plan, which is awesome and makes sense as it reduces interest and pays off the loan early. However, he failed to disclose that I would be making a double payment within a one month time frame. $433, two weeks later $215, two week later another $215.In total, I spent around 16-20 hours in this dealership. Most of the time was spent waiting and the staff not communicating what was going on.It seemed as if the car I drove home was the only car that they wanted to show me, it was also the first car they showed me. I insisted on driving one other car. Immediately after the test drive, the dealer insisted that we keep talking about the first car they showed me. Nothing like grabbing all of your spare change for a down payment, then having to do it again to make repairs to a freshly financed $15,000 car, and then doing it one more time to cover the first months payments. If I were to do this process again, there is no way I would accept this car in its current condition, I would have walked away when they were not able to find a lender on the spot, (they said that's normal, but truth is, every other dealer will know your lender before you walk out the door). and having to sign multi times, not very professional. This is far from being the first car I have ever financed, this was not a normal experience.

After I leased a 2015 Elantra and traded in my 2012 Sonata, they owed me $8000. They said the latest I'd get my check would be 2 weeks. After 16 days, I did everything I could to get my check...call, speak to Managers, go in person 4 times, etc. No follow through and tons of people fabricating the truth. Finally picked up my check after 26 days only after an extreme hassle. Awful experience.

Worst customer service ever. Long story short, I was charged $3,500 for just the car rims. Firstly I do not believe such high price and there are way better rims for low price. Still, they have not provided me with the cost details of rims. The only thing they are good at is looting your money. I would certainly not recommend this showroom. BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!I wish I would have read these reviews before I went there.After finding the car I wanted to buy on truecar.com, I emailed the dealer to make sure it was still available. I was assured it was. Next morning I'm sent an email at 8:00am stating car is ready for me to test drive. So my husband and I travel 3 hours to get there. We're 90 minutes away when I call them to make sure it is still there. "Yes, it's here," Reuben states. When we arrive, some salesman wants to know what else we'd be interested in if it wasn't there. I told him to see if it is here because that car is all we want. Well guess what? It had just been sold 10 MINUTES AGO!!! WHAT??!! We had been sitting there 15 minutes and didn't see anyone leaving with keys. When my husband and I got up to leave, I thanked him for wasting my time. I drove 3 hours to get here! That's when I noticed my husband yelling outside to another salesman about what a crappy business they were running. All of the sudden, another salesman runs outside screaming something about not yelling at the other salesmen. I told him that if he didn't want anyone yelling at them then he shouldn't be lying to people to get them to the dealership when they live 3 hours away.(Note to owner Cassie B.)Don't send me any of your cookie cutter responses about how you like all customers happy. After reading these reviews, it doesn't look like you've corrected any of this "bait and switch" activity.

After six hours of no food hanging out in my pajamas and being delirious of course I signed for a new car that was double my now Car Payment and I didn't need. Came back 16 hours later to tell them this wasn't going to work. & I was treated with complete arrogance and as if I wasn't a highly educated human being. The bottom line is I was manipulated and then when I came back they made sure so I couldn't get my old car back as I sit here crying in front of the dealership in my new car that I don't want all I can say is unless you want to sit for 6 hours he lied to on every turn and not get what you want come here

Worst experience. I worked with Scott Monteiro over email to buy a new car and we agreed on a price over email and phone. I went to the dealership and confirmed the price with Soctt more than few times before the test drive. They made us wait for 3 hours and finally they said price went up by $2,000 because of appearance package, window tint, protection coating and other misc.. things. In the mean time their finance department was fraudulently trying to run my credit report even though I told them I am paying cash. Don't waste your time by going to this dealership. Don't trust anything Scot Monterio says. If you still end up going after all the warnings double/triple check everything before you sign. One of the worst dealers in the valley.

I had requested an internet quote and there was no hassle after that. I was able to drive the vehicle I was quoted on, agree on a price and finish the deal within two hours. I purchased a car form this dealership Camelback Hyundai 9 months ago ... the service was so horrible that I returned the car ..... I then got a call saying that they would take money off for the way I was treated. I ended up with a 2014 Elantra. Now nine months later I upgraded to a 2015 This experience has been even worse!!!!!!!!!! The lack of communication that happens within the company is just appalling. Not one person is willing to assume responsibility and is so quick to pass it to the next person. Even when I spoke to the receptionist and let her know that I was very upset and needed to speak to someone in management and specifically asked to not be transferred to a voicemail, she sent me directly to a voicemail. I called back and asked to SPEAK TO A PERSON NOT A VOICEMAIL .... she responded " Its not my problem if they don't answer. " I then informed her that I know from the reception desk you are able to see if someone is in the sales office, so please get whoever you see in the office to take my call ... again responded, "Nobody is in there. They are all in a sales meeting." I don't know what hiring criteria is needed to be met to become a team member there but obviously there aren't very high standards seeing that the idiot couldn't tell me that the first time when I said I was an UPSET CUSTOMER and wanted to TALK TO SOMEONE DIRECTLY that nobody was in the office . There is no way that I am the only person that this is happening to I can tell by the extremely high number in turn over in your employees that this is a very common practice within your company. I sold my 2014 on the 21st, the same day my car payment was due. I was told to not pay my car payment because the dealership will pay it off. "It will show as paid off by tomorrow" ( is what I was told) and to use that money as a down payment on my new car which is exactly why my down payment was 306.00. After 17 days I am getting calls from my pervious lender informing me that my car hasn't been paid off . After being passed to every department including the service department I am still not getting helped. I then speak to Jim a sales manager who sent me to accounting.... accounting says that she will call the bank and get back to me "keeping me in the loop." I haven't had a call back for three days. I then call Chris in Finance who won't take my calls but is trying to conduct business Via text message (very unprofessional ) another example is I didn't even want a silver car .. I had to take the silver car because the attendant couldn't locate the black model. I can go on and on of things that I saw while there but the bottom line is I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CAMELBACK HYUNDAI AGAIN . I will make sure to post this on every social media / rate and review site everywhere. Simply disgusted.

Came in a few weeks ago. I was looking to trade in my cat and get into a new one with about the same payment. I knew it'd be hard with my negative equity but Jimmy heeled me out. He even lowered it! The prices was extremely fast unlike my last purchase. When you go here don't worry about your time frame. Jimmy actually ran to and from the doesn't cats we liked at!

I was interested in the Hyundai Sonata or the Genisis, I decided to go to Camelback Hyundai I had been there a couple month before and frankly was NOT happy with the service the sales rep. that I dealt with was extremely rude so I was really apprehensive about going there again. I got out of my car and was immediately greeted by a young man by the name of Chris Lynn. He listened to what I had to say, he was very polite and helpful, and was very informed about the vehicles. This young man is honest and isnt in your face aggresive like the other gentleman I had dealt with before. My advice is if you go to camelback hyundai ask for Chris Lynn he is a good honest guy!

He was very helpful and able to answer all my questions about the car I was looking at. I always read reviews so that I know what I might be going into. I was contacted by Scott Monteiro who explained he also was a Gilbert resident. He assured me that this would be an easy process. I explained I have bought cars for year and didn't want to drive twice as far to play games with the pricing of the car. My wife, three children and I drove up there and from the time we arrived it was truly a good experience. The vehicle was ready when we arrived, along with bottled water and popcorn for the kids. The numbers were what he and I talked about, and 2 hours 27 mins later we were back on the road home in our new Sonata! Well worth the trip! Great experience and I would recommend anyone to drive the extra distance to Camelback Hyundai. Scott, Ryan and Glen thank you!

Honestly, When I first started looking for a Hyundai Dealership I was skeptical on coming here because of all the horrible reviews I found on Google. I learned the company was taken over by a new owner a few months ago, and NOTHING that was said on google seemed accurate! I never wanna buy/finance a car ever again only cash the next time around after I pay this off. !!!! yall have a blessed day ,good luck shopping - Mahaliathen they claimed oh your credit score is not generating and i've made 5monthly payments on time my credit score is 683 i also just refinanced my vehicle so i must have a credit score somewhere , never had any late payments no nothing perfect credit history. originally went in to service, then decided to inquire about a sonata then tucson they tried putting my apr at 8.9 at 600 month on the tucson and 500 at 8.9 on the sonata w 1000 down so stupid treating me like a bad credit/1st time buyer customer. first car they gave me a bad deal i bought a 2014 hyundai elantra se red for 11% apr at 362 a month w gap then i refinanced to 8% at 340 a month w gap then recently got a new offer in the mail to refinance my car at 3.9 through blue harbor . so why in the world would i take a 8.9 apr when im paying 8% now thats just stupid taking advantage of the customer, considering they never applied any of the discount no previous owner discount, followed by new car incentives. dealers do what they want n get away with it . just as the justin manager did when i purchase he wouldnt give me prices over the phone when before i had to come down to the office when i then purchased in september of 2014 worst decision ever my car has only 7500 miles i take good care of it now its world 13500 on trade never again will i ever purchase another hyundai product i hate it, let alone anything else from this dealership then johnny said yesterday after i waited for them to get number giving them my information they careless wasted my time johnny said i'll call you tomorrow so "HE" never did i called him at 7pm today he tried pitching me a 6.59 apr at 420 amonth on a Sonata SE when i wanted a limited, this dealership is something else I do appreciate that andrew "Tiger" tried calling me back such a sweet kid, same w/ tanya i feel bad for the mess they go through working here at this financial vampire of a dealership filled w bad customer service. w an exception of Tanya and Tiger. Visited dealership. Found car I liked. Came back another day with friend to see car. Sales person knew I would be in first thing in the morning. She had even called to check on me coming in and what time. I arrived at dealership at the time I had set but I had to sit and wait forty minutes to take car out for another test drive with my friend because a maintenance dept guy had taken the key home. Returned to showroom after test drive and said I was interested in purchasing the car so I wanted the final bottom line price that they would sell it at. I had another dealership to visit that day but would make my decision by noon that day. An assistant sales manager came over to my sales person's desk and gave me a final price with what extras would be included. I called the sales person about noon time and said I would be back in about 1:30 with a checkbook to purchase the car at their dealership. Came back in after lunch ready to buy. Head sales manager came over to my sales person's desk. Sat down with paperwork that now had a much higher price and none of the agreed on extras offered earlier that day. REALLY POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS!! I was so disappointed with the complete turn around that I left vowing to never buy a car from that dealership or it's associates again. I also told all me friends, neighbors, and fellow workers how poor it was doing business there. Two days later, I bought an even better car with more options at the price they tried to sell me the basic level car at Camelback. The sales person was ok. The head sales manager was the problem as he has last say. Apparently the assistant sales manager's voice and opinion has very little influence or purpose.

Just want to write in to say how disappointed I was with service I received Saturday Oct 25th,2014. I made an appointment for oil change at noon, upon arrival service advisor (SA) greeted me, walked out to my car with me and examined my car. Upon examination he indicated there were lots of scratches and swirl marks in the black paint of my car and indicated he could have that fixed by buffing out the car and there was no waiting in the department that would do this. After discussion about this with him I agreed to have my car buffed and was told my car would be ready by 4:30. I had to call back twice to find out where my car was, I called once to ask how the work was coming along and the SA indicated he was so busy he didn't know but would check and call me back in 15 minutes, that didn't happen. Finally at 4:30 I called the service department and asked for my SA and they said he was extremely busy so I asked is my car done and that I would to be picked up to get it (mind you the service department closes at 5) and the man on the phone said he would check on my car because the computer system didn't show anything but in the mean time he would send the shuttle driver over to pick me up. When I arrived at the dealership my car wasn't out front or in the bay next to the service advisors office and I approached my SA and he asked me to wait in the waiting room. There were several other people in the waiting room that were angry that they waited so long just to pick up their cars. The service advisor had great difficulty doing the paperwork on my service and printing up my paperwork as he was only on the job for 3 weeks I was told. After much difficulty he took me to the cashier to pay which I paid approximately $211.00 for the service. When I was taken to my car to see the work that had been done the car looked clean but it didn't look any better than when I brought it in. I feel like I paid $200 for a simple car wash and to have the floors in my car vacuumed. After opening the hood, doors, and hatch when I got home I noted they hadn't cleaned any of them and the windshield had overspray on it form a cleaner. I finally left the dealership at approximately 5:30 5:45 disappointed in the service I got and also the fact that the SA didn't know what he was doing. I was told by the SA that he was actually out in the bay where they were working on my car helping them to buff it out because apparently the work wasn't getting done and the workers were going to leave. Apparently training wasn't done well enough with this person so he struggled greatly and your service department was understaffed. I feel like I was ripped off for the poor quality work that was done and if I wouldn't have called back I would have been without a car until Monday as no one bothered to call me and I had to call in. This type of service is not acceptable in any way shape or form. Nobody at your service department would help this new guy out, everyone was very unprofessional as you could see the stress was in the air between the workers, heavy sigh's from everyone, no one smiling, WHERE IS YOUR MANAGER? He should have been on duty, this new guy should have had more training before left on his own. I'm not sure what is going on with your service department but I will say one thing, whenever I went to the Avondale or Bell Road dealership I was treated like royalty. I don't need royalty treatment but I do want to be treated the way a customer should be. Just so you know my credit card never complained when it was ran through your system to pay for substandard work and customer service. I work very hard daily to make a living and nothing makes me more angry than to spend this hard earned money on an establishment that provides poor service and apparently doesn't appreciate it! I guess I will have to go back out to Avondale where I bought this vehicle for service, the drive would be worth it. I hope you look into this and make corrections where needed. Since I had this experience with this SA I won't want to work with him again.

I went here to purchase a car. they said they had the car I saw online ready to look at. When I got there I found out the car was sold a week ago. When the salesman found out I was a cash buyer he got rude, insulting and led me to what he called "junkers". I could not get out of there fast enough. I would NEVER spend a dime here. Issue 1)I purchased my vehicle over 2 months ago and still have not received my tags. I have made multiple calls to the dealership and always get passed around. No one wants to own the issue-there's always an excuse. People don't call back etc.Issue 2) When you call the dealership, you rarely get a live person. If you do, they transfer you to the wrong person/department or the people you need are never there or have quit-high turnover. A few times the calls have just terminated. Issue 3)I get a sales call sometimes two times a week asking me if I'm interested in purchasing a vehicle. I have told them each time that I have purchased a vehicle already and to please update my file. This has not happened to date....I still get calls.Issue 4)I spoke to the customer service rep Susan who stated she was very sorry about the difficulty in communicating, would send a gift card for my trouble., etc. We double checked my address and changed my phone # to my cell#(for the 4th time). I never received the gift card, and the issues with the receptionist/communication remain.

I bought my first car here. I love my car yes but I could have went somewhere else for the service. I bought my car last month and boy did I get the run around. Every single thing there takes forever the right hand don't know what the left hand is doing. When I tried to call to get help with some questions I had I called the guy that gave me his number. Well 2 weeks later he no longer worked there. I left a voice mail last week and this week and have yet to have someone call me. I am a first tIme car buyer and this was such a bad experience. The receptionist I had talked to this week was so rude. How do they stay in business. I will never purchase a vehicle from them again. In fact if anyone I know is looking for a car I will tell them to stay clear of camelback Kia. They have poor customer service. They are great whoever at lying that is there strong card. Had I known this was going to be a huge hassle I would have never purchased my car there. But what do they care they got my money it is 2 days until my temporary tag expires and let me tell you I have not received a call of when to pick my plate up. They also never gave the company who handles taking the money out my account the new paper work stating my payment has changed. So it looked like I was already behind since they failed to send the proper documentation to them. Over all horrible experience. I never want to buy a car agin because of camelback Kia

I purchased a vehicle with my own financing. They knew from the beginning that I did not want to deal with their financing or terms, so they never sent in the documentation or my blank check (which they never had me sign) from my approved lender Capital One. After One week of me contacting them and asking why they have not contacted my lender, they claim there was a problem with Capital One and the Loan to Value ratio. They lied outright because I have been in contact with Capital One and Capital One already told me Camelback Hyundai never contacted them. Matter of fact, Capital One had contacted Camelback and they NEVER returned their call.Camelback then tried to get me to sign another contract under Fifth Third Bank with a larger interest rate. I told them I was not interested and returned the car to them. Camelback Hyundai is now trying to scam me and say I own the car and they have transferred the contract to Fifth Third Bank. How can they when I didnt sign anything with Fifth Third Bank? I was approved with my own financing (had a check) and because they were not going to make any money off the deal, they decided to try to do the Spot-On scam from the start. I have purchased about 12 or 13 new cars in the past. At this dealership i was treated fairly and professionally and much better than my previous purchase experiences. In addition I was called every other week by an employee named Marisa telling me of special sales events. I had no intent of purchasing a car on the day i returned to to the dealership after being told by Marisa that they were practically giving the cars away.However my wife and I were treated so well that 90 minutes later we left with a new Hyundai. They did not give the car away but they made us feel very comfortable making this decision in very brief time.

I bought a brand new car here just under a year ago when they were still Nick Mayer. Now that Camelback Kia has bought them out I am FLOODED with sales calls about upgrading my car. It's not even a year old yet!!!!!!!!! I've asked repeatedly to be removed from their mailing and call list and still they continue. 2-3 calls PER DAY. I would never do business with such a shady operation and am now filing a complaint with the FCC.

They service & treatment I received was so unprofessional and borderline harassment that I thought about filing charges against them. Now they WILL NOT STOP CALLING ME to try to sell me another car, sometimes 6 calls in one week! I understand they use previous customers to drum up more business. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THIS DEALSHIP AGAIN!! I have had 8 people since then that I have made sure did not buy from that dealership. I have called them FOUR TIMES and asked them not to contact me again! I now have other people calling to help me. I am contacting my attorney tomorrow to start harassment charges. I now will assure that no one I am in contact with ever buys a Hyundai, whereas before I was just steering them away from this dealership. Can you please leave me alone!!! The sales person Joe V did a great job . This comment was posted before my sale was completed after that it went all downhill I bought a used car as soon as I drove it about 15 minutes already home I had 2 lights go on called the sales guy and told him what was going on was told to bring it back so the next morning as I was heading there the lights were off I called Joe and notify him was told to hold off then till the financing cleared so I decided to take to get a full inspection and had a long list of things going on was missing vital parts (i.e. multiple covers that go underneath the car one was so the radiator wouldnt get damaged again since the radiator was no good and needed a few things replaced (i.e.)battery ,the battery cables,2 motor mounts, having issues with the tire pressure lights going off and the tires possibly needed to be replaced so I took the info and the car back to the dealership and both the sales guy and his manger said they would take care of it so I left the car there and they had the car for a day and a half when I went back the sales guy said my list was done , so I asked for the list I gave them and a list or documentation of what they did do neither one was provided the mechanic showed what he was told to do , which was to fix the radiator, clean the battery cables replace the motor mounts and an oil change , which no oil change was done , the tire light is still going on and off and making weird noises that I point out to the mechanic and is taking a while to turn over when I start it . When I turned around to talk to the sales guy he was gone I asked where he was and no one knew so the mechanic walked away so I went in to discuss this with the manger he said he didnt have the list I gave him and didnt remember what needed to be done but the battery didnt test bad, and it was a used car and he wasnt going to put it back together . As I was talking to him another guy sitting next to him started yelling at me . I told the manger I wasnt asking him to but they did say they were going to take care of it and it wasnt I dont want to buy a car thats possibly goin break down as soon as I drive down the street again . My main concern was the covers since I have now been told by 2 different car shops not to drive all I takes is a rock to destroy the radiator etc. again. Which they just replaced because of this. There super nice till your out the door when said and done I was upset and angry there totally dishonest snakes they were conceding ,sarcastic , the other guy was really disrespectful and rude I didnt even know or wasnt even talking to this guy and he was yelling at me. Would never recommend this place at all especially to purchase a used car.

I am 19 and have no credit history, and have been in my current position for 2 months. I did have a 2002 Toyota Tundra and a small amount of cash for a down payment.Allen put together a deal on a 2013 Elantra coupe. I was concerned about the likelihood of financing a relatively expensive car for my situation, but Allen assured me the deal would go through.Throughout the week, Allen kept calling and texting, telling me that he was having problems getting the loan approved but 'the next bank' would approve it. He also suggested that I falsify my pay stub to show 8 months of work history instead of 2; I refused.Finally, on 11/5, Allen called to tell me that he could not get the deal approved, and that I should bring the car back. When I arrived at the dealership, my Toyota was nowhere to be seen. Allen could not find it. He finally came back and said that the truck had already been sent to the auction but he could have it back by 6 am on 11/6. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and Allen said he didn't know who that was. I asked for the manager's name, and Allen said he wasn't allowed to give that out.Through all of this, Allen has never offered one word of apology or concern. He finally agreed to give me a half tank of gas for the trouble and aggravation I've been through, although after all his lies so far I don't expect it.I do expect an apology from Allen and Camelback Hyundai and some assurance that steps are taken to assure that this level of unprofessional and unethical behavior does not happen to another customer. Be assured that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, RipOffReport, and every customer review site I can think of to warn other people away from Camelback Hyundai. I have already read several online review and see that my experience is very common.

Me and my wife need a larger SUV. I sent in a email and I received a call not even 2 minutes later from M.Johnson. He went over the inventory with me, he sounded like he had a few different choices. He had the least amount of pressure and was confident he could get me what I wanted for my trade. Came in MJ was had 3 SUVs pulled up claen and gased we drove two and ended up buying a 2010 Escalade. I had visited several dealerships new/used the past couple of months, It was my first car purchase and wanted to make sure I did my homework. Anywhere else I went, they were kind of rude and seemed like they were just trying to buy me any car for them to make a sale. When I came into this dealership, I was lucky enough to have MJ talk to me! I was nervous because it seemed like the previous dealers would get annoyed or not even ACTUALLY help me find what I wanted/needed. MJ listened to my needs, we discussed my budget and showed me several cars he thought would go well with my requests and budget. I think I got a good deal and would recommend them to anyone I hear is interested in buying a car. I can trust MJ that he won't rip me or anyone else off. MJ just proved the stereotype of dealerships, wrong. He was not pushy, he listened, and was genuinely friendly. Not something you see to often coming from a salesperson. =)

This is the worse dealership ever.From the very beginning, the deal had caution flags. The price negotiation was a typical car dealership cliche... The sales person (Ben) went back and forth from the finance manager playing with numbers but never really moving off the bottom line. Being tired, it was time to go... As I got in my car to drive away the general manager (Todd) came out, and as you can probably already hear him say, "What can we do to get a deal done?" He even promised to breakup my down payment or hold it for 30 days, whatever it took to get the deal done... When he's selling he's such a nice guy. -- I hate sales games.I called the next day to inform Todd, I'd accept his deal if he held my down payment for 30 days... He said great and he'd have the car delivered as soon as Ben got in. Since we were having this conversation in the morning, I assumed the car would show up during daylight hours - no, it showed up at my door at midnight... Which means, Ben didn't leave until the dealership closed at 8:00pm. Which is fine if he had said that's what he was going to do, but it wasn't... The last I heard from him was at 2:00pm saying he was leaving in a few minutes.The reason they claim they showed up so late was because the car was stuck in the service department. Ben said, "We want our cars to be perfect on delivery..." However, the vehicle was delivered to my house with the upgraded wheels that didn't belong on the vehicle (I wanted the OEM wheels) and later I discovered nothing was done to the vehicle. The engine oil was filthy, the power steering fluid was low and filthy, radiator fluid was low, windshield wipers were worthless and falling apart and a few pieces of small trash that I noticed the evening of the test drive were still in the exact same spot. What did the service department do??The sales contract(s) Ben came to my house with were different than the price Todd and I negotiated. Thankfully, I kept the print out Todd gave me so I could show Ben the price Todd and I agreed too. Also, note, I said sales contracts, as in plural. It seems one of those sales contracts happen to have the upgraded wheels on them... They wanted me to sign both... Which is weird since I already had approved financing through my bank and wasn't financing this deal through the car dealership. But because of the Patriot Act they needed me to sign the contracts with my personal information on them... You know, for America and to keep us safe from terrorism.Remember, that down payment they were going to hold, that even when handing the check to Ben I confirmed they were going to hold it, he claimed to make a note of it... Yeah, that check posted and cleared my account 2 days later - he held it alright, just long enough for the accountant to cash it! Thank goodness my bank transfer happened faster than expected otherwise that would have been a big bounced check and a fee...Since this deal, Nick Mayer Hyundai has posted three (3) inquiries to my credit report - moving my credit score down 15 points. Why would they pull my credit report 3 times after the deal was done and they had already cashed by bank financing check? I asked Todd during our phone conversation today, he said he didn't, they wouldn't, then before even ending the sentence claimed it was to get me a lower interest rate... Lower interest rate?!? Come on."We want those wheels!" So Nick Mayer Hyundai delivered my car with upgraded wheels I didn't want and that they were supposed to remove before delivery... When they delivered the vehicle, Ben apologized and promised they would come to my house and exchange them - keep in mind, I live 3 hours from the dealership! Since the purchase, we've even made two appointments for them to exchange the wheels, to date, they are a no show, both times I took time away from work to accommodate them. How do they thank me? Today, nearly 2-months after we completed our deal Todd called me up as if everything is fine to schedule a time when he could have someone pick up the wheels. Really?!?!?So here are a couple things everyone should note about this car dealership - what they say and what they mean are totally opposite - these people are a den of liars. They'll even lie in the same statement without pausing to take a breath. It's actually quite a remarkable skill.They have the worse communication skills I have ever witnessed. I mean, these people are so bad at calling you back or updating a person on the progress of the deal a reasonable person is left believing they do it on purpose. Like they pay bonuses for how far you can abuse a customer before they flip their lid.Buyer beware, this car dealership is a black-eye to the entire auto industry. Buy from them if you like a painfully frustrating experience; buy from someone else if you want to enjoy the purchasing experience.

i would first like to say Anthony G was perhaps the best salesman i worked with since i have started buying vehicles. not once did he try to force me to make a decision or get into something i didnt like. he was patient with my indecisiveness but never once seemed to be annoyed. i went with the intention of purchasing a used car but after showing me the price difference between used and new plus incentives i was able to get into a 2013 Elantra. we spoke of the pros and cons of both used and new at length. he made sure i was comfortable with my decision and for that i appreciate his tact. I can honestly say that Anthony G has earned my business and i will be sure to look him up when i am ready to purchased another. i would definitely recommend him to a friend who is looking to buy a car. Electrical issues went out after a few days after purchase, they said they would fix it. I brought it in in February to fix, they said I would have to wait over 3 hours while they fixed it and did not have a shuttle to where I live which is about 30 miles away. I asked if I could bring it back another time when I could arrange a ride, and they said no problem. I specifically asked if they would note it in the file that the electrical would be covered that they agreed to and of course they said, No Problem! I brought the car back, without even looking into it, they said they would have to take to the Infiniti dealership at a great price of half off the normal fees. In addition to attempting to make money off of their empty promises, they said they had No Record of ever saying it would be covered. The initial transaction should have steered me away when Josh the sales manager lost $1500 of my money and had collections call me. Rather than being proved wrong with canceled and cleared checks, he delegated collections to a third party with zero attempt to call and ask for the proof. He is spineless and spending this company's money recklessly. Buyer Beware! This company has hired a bunch of discriminating crooks. Just look at the male to female ratio of employee's. I would also like to mention the reason why I used this dealership in the first place. My significant other at the time sold his leased jeep to the company to get a truck and I was to buy the jeep so we could keep it in the household. They were fully aware of this and went ahead and sold it to another party for more money than they were going to sell it back to us at.

My daughter was looking for a car, and saw an ad on Craigslist for a specific vehicle. We live quite a ways away, so she wanted to be sure the car was there before we went in. She called this morning and was told by the person on the phone, that they did indeed have that specific car, and she could come in and take a test drive. She confirmed the color of the car and the specific vehicle on the phone. The person on the phone (unfortunately we don't have his name), also told her that he would call her if the car sold before we could come in.We went in this afternoon, and much to our surprise and disappointment they could not find this vehicle - even with the stock # that was listed in the ad. She even showed them the craigslist ad that was posted this morning at 9:40 AM. They were very quick to try to show us many different vehicles, but this was obviously a bait and switch ploy. Very disappointing and although we currently own a Hyundai - we won't be buying another one from this dealer.

I wanted to purchase a car for my son in college, in AZ. I live in CA and could not fly out for the purchase. Paolo was an absolutely great salesman! First he found the car that met my specifications; with no haggling or sales pitch dialogue. The price was pretty much as stated online, with a few extras added. All financing information was faxed to me for review as well as VIN numbers and any other data that would ease my concerns:). But here is the really great part...Gabe in finance ensured I could add my son to the financing to help him build credit; on which my husband and I were adamant. I signed paperwork from CA and sent back in next day envelope provided. My son's car was not on the lot at the time so we had to wait a week or so for delivery. Paolo and Gabe kept me informed, pretty much every day; I was anxious. Then when the car came in Paolo sent me a cool pic to my cell. I was able to surprise my son by sending him a text with the pic and a "pick me up" message. He was totally surprised, so that was fun. Paolo and Gabe took care of him when he came in and really set my mind at ease about not being there. So my son got to grow up a little, picking up his car and signing paperwork, etc. I saved on airfare and could plan a more appropriate visit with the family. Oh and Paolo called me a few weeks after my purchase to let me know my son get's a free oil change and that he would call my son to remind him to take care of it. Nick Mayer is the best and I would purchase from them again in a heartbeat!

The metal lift bar to move the seat in my 2004 Santa Fe snapped. Broken. You can see and feel the break. Took it in to Nick Mayer. They wanted to charge me over $100 TO DIAGNOSIS IT. Excuse me, but you just reached underneath there and admitted it was broken -- it took 5 seconds and you diagnosed it. I left after some choice words and went to Showcase Honda. They welded the part for me to save me having to replace the entire seat track, charged me a minimal amount (with no diagnosis fee), and gave me a free loaner car for the day. Guess where I will not be buying my next car from!

I am a woman who was looking for a car and had gone to a competitive dealership and was so high pressured that 3 sales people cornered me in a room and I got just fed up and told them so and I left without the car I might have gotten if they had just let me breathe and think it over a bit. So the next time I took my son and his wife with me to another dealer. We had an appointment and when we got there the car I had seen and told the dealership I wanted to drive the next day was GONE--sold on e-bay the night before. I was so disappointed. But they magically produced another car that had just come in to them and I was pleased with the way we negotiated the price. Mike Gutierrez was patient, kind,professional, a real gentleman. He wanted to make this work for me and his company. We haggled a bit, as per-usual, he didn't give up and neither did we. I believe we came to a fair price and I bought the car. Drove it home tonight and I believe I will be very happy driving my Hyundai Sonata for a very long time. I keep my cars until they practically die on the road. Mike made it very clear that if I have any questions about the car to call him direct and he will help me figure it all out. I bought a 2012 hyundai accent and traded in my minivan. The deal fell through which I had to call over and over again to get an answer on my financing. They couldn't find my trade in and had to search for it for 3 weeks. I finally got it back and the storage bin organizer that comes stock with my van was missing along with the spare key and key fob. Of course they deny knowing anything about it. I found in the glove box the paper work from CarMax who they sold it too. Turns out that they sold the van to them and had to buy it back when the deal fell through. Who knows who has the extra key and my $900 discontinued organizer bin now. I am now going to have to rekey my whole vehicle and replace something that I shouldn't have to replace. All while being treated like crap and completely ignored and put off.

The sales person who helped me was Kelly. A family member was helping me buy the car and set some ground rules and all were followed unlike other dealerships who had other cars we were looking at. She was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We gave them the exact price we wanted to pay and that's what they sold us the car at. Any questions I had were answered immediately and if Kelly did not know the answer she knew who would, found out and relayed the message to me asap. If I know anybody who wants to buy a new car I will defenitly tell them to go see Kelly.

AFTER the sale. Two weeks later, call from the sales manager came in. He told me my deal was not approved by Kia and that I either needed to come sign new paperwork for an extra $50 a month or return my car. The way he made it sound, I had no choice. I weighed my options, and after being humiliated I decided to just say screw it, I want to get this over with. I drove the 40 miles out of my way, went and signed new paperwork where the dufas of a finance manager highlighted for me.Mind you, this whole time, they owed me $4100 for my trade-in.One week later I called the sales manager asking why I had no received my check for my trade yet. He tells me, oh! you singed the contract on the wrong line. You need to come back in and sign it before we can move forward with your deal. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I signed right where that loser highlighted.So, in order to speed the process up a bit more, I drove ANOTHER 40 miles out of my way (80 miles round trip), to sign the "new contract" in the right place.One week later, I called again, asking where my money was. He was waiting on Kia to "fund my deal" before they cut my check and SWORE as soon as the funding went through, he would have someone hand deliver my check. Days go by, my niceness has worn off. I called back, and conveniently the deal went through and he said he would have a lot attendant call me in the morning to tell me he was on his way with my check in hand.2pm the next day... no call. I called in asking for the two men I spoke with yesterday and conveniently, they are BOTH off. sweet. So I asked for their manager. He gets on the phone and says he has spoken with accounting and that my bank is refusing to release my title, and they can't cut me the check until they do.First, it was me. Then it was Kia. Now it's my bank. It's almost an entire month later and I still do not have my check.

After having a horrible experience at Camelback Ford (I will never go back there) I went down the street to Nick Mayer Hyundai. I had already spoke with Kelly on the phone so I knew what they had in stock and what I wanted. When I got there the place was crazy with customers and Kelly was busy so Andre gave me to to MJ. MJ took me straight to the car I was looking for. After going for a test drive I loved the car. MJ sat down with me and within minutes we had a deal and I was buying a car. I have never had such a good experience buying a car. I was in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours. I never felt pressured or even felt like I was being sold something. It appeared to me like everyone buying a car that day were having the same experience I was having. They are bringing integrity to a industry that lacks it and I appreciate that. I know when I am in the market for a new car again I will be coming back here and would suggest everyone go here before going anywhere else. They earned my business and my trust. Since buying the car Kelly has called me to check up on me and my purchase and made me feel like my business was appreciated. She has been such a pleasure to speak with and helped so much up to the day I got there. MJ could not have been better to work with. I was very pleased with my experiance of purchasing my Kia Sorento from the Nick Mayer dealership. The main reason for my pleasant experiance would be the internet manager Michael Bastos. I did my reserch and knew what I wanted and Mike delivered. He found the car I wanted and actually got me a better deal then I was expecting by coming in under the invoice quoted price I had from the internet. This lower price actually came with additional features not originally quoted. I found his assistance to be right on point and he focused on listening to what I wanted and that is why I bought my wife's new car with Mike and why I will be repeat customer when the time comes.I did not rate the quality of work because I interpreted that to be more of a repairs and service department function and that is not applicable in a new car purchase. If my experiance with that portion of the dealership is on par with the purchase of the vehicle then I will be very happy indeed.

I have brought my Hyundai Tucson into nick Mayer a couple times(oil change, transmission flush and brakes) and every time Joe has made my car experience there awesome. The whole team is helpful but most contact I've had has been with Joe. He's very knowledgable and polite. My car has always been ready at the time promised and always in better condition. Joe always go over everything they have done to my car in detail and it's nice when they throw in a complementary car wash. I will continue going to nick Mayer and Joe for all my auto needs for sure and recommend them highly.

This week I went into 2 car dealerships (a Kia dealer and a Nissan dealer) and after several hours at both of these dealers I left disgusted because of the games that were being played. With a fair amount of hesitation I phoned Nick Mayer Kia (formerly Camelback Hyuandai) and spoke with sales person, Kelly Hanes; after talking about what I was looking for Kelly said that she had the perfect Sportage or me. Due to the 2 previous experiences I did not commit to coming in the next day because I was frankly burnt out and positive Kelly would be more of the same. Well, nobody could have been more wrong than me in that assumption! Kelly went above and beyond to call me back with an offer that I could not find a reason to say no to.When I got to the dealership I was greeted by a bubbly, but genuine sales rep who truly wanted to get me the best deal - there was no haggling, no game playing...everything was just as Kelly had said on the phone it would be. Kelly introduced me to her Sales Manager, Josh Bleckler and their Service Manager, John Senter, both very welcoming to me.The purchase and finance process went very smoothly and it was actually a pleasant experience buying from Nick Mayer. I was amazed at what they did to resolve the difficulty of picking up my new Sportage - Kelly personally delivered it to me! Service said that if I couldn't make it in for service/oil change that they would come pick my vehicle up or provide a loaner free of charge if I had things I needed to do. I have never before encountered a dealer so accommodating and customer friendly.I would definitely endorse Nick Mayer Kia and Kelly Hanes to anybody looking for a new vehicle...you won't be disappointed! I am loving my new 2011 Sportage, thank you Kelly and staff.

Bring your X-Ray goggles-- You'll need them to see through all the bull shit.I worked with Christopher Robinson to get a KIA Forte. He seemed helpful at the time, and worked with me to get my payments down from something outrageous to something a little more manageable (about $70 difference). When I took the deal, everything seemed great. 4.99% interest rate, payments were about $330, and I'd get a 45 day grace period. Sounded good to me.I waited for about an hour and a half before I could see someone in finance, and when I finally did, I was appalled.Cory (however you spell it) repeatedly was saying things about how it was his first day there, and how he didn't know where anything was. While I was in the room, he repeatedly printed out the wrong forms, got the wrong things for me to sign, and left the room frequently. Hardly professional if you ask me. He tried to sell me some bogus warranty thing with all this "old lady" coverage (roadside assistance, never have to touch anything under the hood, etc.). I turned it down, but I opted for the GAP coverage at his advice, because it would ensure I get the low rate. This added about $10 to my payment (already more than I wanted to pay).I left after being at the dealership for about 6 hours. They said they "detailed" my car, which in my opinion would mean a full wash and wax, etc. I noticed bird shit on the rear quarter panel, and the inside window was streaked to hell. I would up washing it myself again. It's the little things...I also found a form inside the car that the salesman was supposed to go over with me. Guess what? He didn't.So now the fun begins. Cory calls me to inform me that my interest rate would be 6.53%. I had to yell at him to get him to change my rate to the pre-approval I had with Desert Schools (6.24%), and I made an appointment to come in and sign papers.I came in to sign the papers, and I explained my frustrations to him. He told me he explained to me that the full warranty would help get the lower rate (he only told me GAP when I bought the car), and that the low rate they quoted me was an 'exception', which he also must have told me telepathically, because those words never came out of his mouth. He was very standoffish and not helpful in the slightest. I complained about the ethics of the situation to the BBB, and I have yet to hear back on that. Talk about a bait-and-switch.I got a call from my lender today saying that my payment was due on July 27th. Funny, because that's not even 30 days since I bought the car, and it certainly is not the 45 days I was promised. The finance person I just got off the phone with was also very annoyed at taking my call, and spent most of the call using the (apparently standard at this dealership) "we can't do anything about it" line.So, moral of the story is: avoid this place. Who treats customers like this? Not an ethical, well-founded business, if you ask me. I call them stealerships for a reason.

Dealing with Nick Mayer Hyundai/Kia (formerly Camelback) was a very pleasant experience. My wife and I had two Hyundai's (2007 Santa Fe and 2009 Elantra, both with very low miles that we wanted to trade for a new 2011 Santa Fe as we no longer had the need for two vehicles. As we wanted to compare the Santa Fe with the Kia Sorrento, we chose this dealer that handles both. Our sales person - Gino - was very patient with us and allowed us to test drive both models and also compared V6 and 4 cyl models. Gino has had many years in car sales and although new to these brands, would find the answer to anything he was unsure of. Evryone that we met at this dealership was highly conscious of quality customer care and service and were friendly and helpful. After we made the deal, which we thought to be very fair, Gino arranged to peronally pick up the second car at our home to take back to the dealer. In addition, when we took the Sante Fe back to have the Navigation unit installed, he came back ON HIS DAY OFF to make sure that everything went well and that we would have a loaner car until ours was ready. We would definitely recommend this dealer!

This was the best experience I have had at a dealership! Upon arrival Gino had the car that I wanted ready to look at and test drive. As soon as we made a choice he began with the paper work. My KIA Optima's air conditioning quit so I took it into this dealership to have it repaired. They told me that it needed a $169 part. They installed the part, put in new freon, and I drove off. A week later the air conditioning was blowing warm-ish air so I returned to the service department to have my car looked at. My service advisor called and said that it needed a new compressor. I asked to speak to the manager. I told him that I would not have repaired any part of the air conditioning on a car that had close to 100,000 miles if I had known that it was the compressor. I expected them to just give me back the money I had spent on the $169 part and let me regret my decision all summer, a Phoenix summer at that. Instead, the manager said that he fully understood where I was coming from, that I'd been a loyal customer, and that they appreciated my business. They, free of charge, installed a rebuilt air conditioning compressor. I, besides being quite a fan of KIA - a wonderful car, am rather in awe that they would go to this extreme to treat me more than fairly. I called the manager to tell him how much I appreciated their actions and that I would be buying my next car (if this Optima ever does quit - as I said, it has close to 100,000 miles and still drives and looks like a new car) from them. They did not respond to email on the carfax and condition of car listed for sale. Actually, it took several emails and in 2 weeks I got a call back. I checked VIN via carfax.. car was prior salvage and did not qualify. Explains why nobody got back to me. Dishonest? Maybe. Unethical? Yup. So I'd avoid this place.. selling junk cars and not being forthcoming.

I gave the rating of 5 stars in every category because the employees at this dealership are amazing, I worked with this guy MJ and he was courteous and not pushy like most sales men. The prices on the hyundai were low compared to other dealerships I've been to. The quality of work on the cara were great as I saw no rust on the one I was checking out and the cara were so clean even the used ones I wa looking at. When I entered the parking lot I was immediately approached by a sales man which made me feel important, customer service was amazing!!! I would say my overall experience was A+, I will recommend this dealership to any one I know, as they make u feel welcomed :)

I first went to Nick Mayer Hundai/Kia service dept.in April of 2010, in an emergency when Big Bell Kia (where I have had 2 Kia's service for the past 9 years) wouldn't help. Eddie Angulo and Bob Gulachak, the service manager were great and have earned my business for the life of my car! I dropped my car off on a Saturday morning, they gave me a ride to work and offered to come back and get me. When I got back my car had been diagnosed and it was a serious problem, (just like I had told Bell Road) and the part was ordered. They gave me a loaner car to drive for the week-end until my car could be repaired.I had another problem just this week, a minor thing, and I also needed tires. I never buy tires from a dealer, but their price beat the price of everyone else I went to, even Discount Tires. The process took a little longer because they didn't have the tires, but again they were so hospitable. Eddie offered to go get me some lunch, and for compensation gave me some free oil changes.While warming up while waiting (if you have to wait there in the summer, they keep the lounge very cool!) I walked around the showroom and the lot. It was actually a pleasant experience. I wasn't hounded by every available sales person, but I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner and allowed to browse on my own. I briefly chatted with Chad Mayer, the general manager, and he explained that all the sales staff are new and they operate under different principals and ethics than the previous owners. The service department will keep customers coming back and when ready for a new, or another vehicle, the sales department will have a chance to show their new and improved attitude.Really, you have got to check out this service department...they are wonderful.

We are a repair car dealer less than 4.5 miles away . We order parts said be delivered first thing in morning. Ask what time so we could set appointment for customer. Called in morning to make sure parts would be delivered before 9:30 am when appointment was made. Jeff said he would ours as first delivery. Well 3 calls later and now 11:30am no parts. No calls from you as well. We even offered to pick them up if couldnt make it in time. No guarenteed would be . But no 4 th call in a apolgy from Jeff and still no parts. WE have are reconcerding staying with this company. This isnt our first time with this problem. We would have came and got parts even explained this over and over. Poor Management here and customer service.

Camelback Hyundai is under new ownership. It is now Nick Mayer Kia/Hyundai. The former owners were sleazebags who employed scammers and rip-off artists. Mayer has replaced almost all the old employees.Unlike the former owners, Nick Mayer believes that honesty and integrity are job #1, and he requires it from his employees. Mr. Mayer even resolved an issue for me that was created by the former scammer owners that he was not required to resolve. This focus on morality and honesty in car sales and service is refreshing...and somewhat rare.For those of you who have been scammed and ripped off by the former Camelback Kia/Hyundai, I strongly suggest that you give Nick Mayer Hyundai a try. I had the same experience as the person who commented before me. I have excellent credit and was pre-approved to buy a car through my bank. Jaime, the finance manager, told me he could get me a better interest rate so I signed the paperwork with them. A week and a half later I called to find out who the lender was so I could make my first payment before it was due, and found out I was not approved. No one had called me. Now I have had the car for 2 weeks and I am still trying to get the paperwork sorted out because they are being so uncooperative in working with my bank who is waiting to send them the money. Even getting them to return a phone call is a challenge. Not to mention when I bought my car (a 2008 Santa Fe - which I love) only came with one key and no remote entry key and I keep asking for the remote and second set of keys, which is fairly standard when you buy a car, they keep saying they can't help me. Although I love the car and happy with my decision to buy it, I am so frustrated with their unhelpfulness and lack of communication it is really making this a horrible experience.

I was so excited to purchase my first car on my own, I went to Camelback Hyundai/Kai (Re: Camelback Hyundai Kia, 2223 W Camelback Rd--Phoenix, Arizona 85015) October 10, 2009 and shopped around. I found the one I wanted, so my mother (owns a Hyundai) and I worked out a deal and then a finance deal too. Jamie and Keith were the individuals we worked with. After about three hours of getting all the numbers correct, as they were trying to scam us we left, driving a new vehicle. There was no communication with the dealership for about a week therefore I call to see why I have not gotten anything in the mail pertaining to the vehicle I bought. Come to find out they didnt process it yet. Jamie asked me to come in to finalize the deal, but come to find out, he lied, and he wanted me to sign for a higher interest rate if I wanted to keep the vehicle. After that nonsense I left, and called the General Manager Tony. After a few weeks of going back and forth with Tony the General Manager, I came to the conclusion that they were scamming me and trying to have me sign a high interest rate if I wanted the vehicle. Mean while, I am driving the vehicle still. They cannot be trusted, and I do not think I will buy a Hyundai because of this dealership. They are the typical car sales men that cannot be respected because of the behavior and harassment they displayed to me. THEY ARE CROOKS! Go to another dealership, DONT USE THEM. You will not be pleased! I dealt with them for ober a month, and the month was hell because of them. All I can say is stay AWAY from this DEALERSHIP. I called them at the end of October to let them know that I wanted my trade in back and didnt want to finance with them because they were trying to scam their clients. As I drove there, I called the Phoenix, AZ police department to stand by because they cannot be trusted with transactions. The police where glad to stand by to make sure they the switch back to my vehicle was seamless. Seamless because they knew I called the police and they knew they needed to get their act together for at least a few minutes. This experience was an experience I could have lived without. But please know that this is the image that I see when I now see a Hyundai vehicle on the road. After much review, I am not the only one to see this dealership act in this way.

Reason for my lackluster review is as follows : Upon purchasing a 2010 Kia Soul with an agreed price (basic price pre-agreed via telephone w/sales manager), we proceeded to finance to fill out paperwork. At signing, finance officer did not go over line by line with us the loan document. We failed to notice that basic price was $1000 more than we previously agreed to. After getting home we noticed that price was incorrect. We went back to dealership and sales manager told us he had never told us initially over the phone that the price would be $1000 lower. He also told us all phone conversations are taped. I then called him on that and insisted on hearing the taped conversation. At that point he did not know what to say so he did change the price back to the original agreement. We proceeded to change all the paperwork at that point. The next day we got a call from dealership telling us that paperwork was incorrect and we would have to go back to redo it. That was the third time we did the paperwork. All was fine after that. Upon purchasing new vehicle we noticed a 1 inch chip on edge of engine hood next to windshield wiper arm. They insured us they would fix it right away. After 1 month and many excuses as to why they hadnt fixed the chip yet, we got the general mgr/owner involved and did finally get chip repaired. After only 2 months and all the problems with this dealership the car got traded in for an american vehicle. At this time I contacted Kia to file a cancellation form on my gap insurance from Kia. I did fill out the cancellation form at the Kia dealership and was told it would take a couple weeks or so to get my refund ($680 plus). They just needed confirmation that vehicle was paid off. Pontiac did notify Kia as well as the bank that finaced the vehicle. For over 2 months I have been going back and forth to find out where the refund check is. Kia failed to return my calls and when I did go in person they said check was either sent, records where lost, or they claimed my faxes with the paperwork didnt come through. I also was hung up on because the finance person who was supposed to be handling it didnt want to deal with it. We asked to speak to the mgr/owner and were told that he was not in. We went to the dealership and he was there and seemed surprised that they would say he wasnt there.We also were told to get out of the finance office because we told them we would call the Attorney Generals Office and get an attorney involved. At no time did we yell or cuss at them. There are also taped telephone conversations that will verify things. As I stated they tape all their telephone conversations. It should be noted that there are alot of Air Force people stationed nearby and many of them have complained about this dealership and its unprofessional dealings. As an owner of a decorating company and meet alot of people at their homes, I would never recommend going to this Kia/Hyundai dealership if the conversation came up. This was the worse!

People complaining about a car dealer? Imagine that! We din't really have any problems so I would rate this as a good experience. They have two tv lounges to sit in while you wait for finance. When we did get to finance the guy pushed the extended warranty on us but isn't that his job. All of you whiners should know how to get a good deal if you had even half a brain. I know I did!

I saw an add on Craigslist for a car, we went that night to see it. First they did not want us to even look at the cars until they( the salemen) decided if we could afford the car we said we were intrested in. We refused to discuss any finacial information further until we saw the car and decided we were even interested in it. The salesman could not even figure out how to drive the car and could not put it in reverse. I took it for a test drive and they would not let me take my wife, I had to take the salesman with me. The car was offered on craigslist at a lower price then the sticker they said because the convertible hard top was not working and the radio did not work. I have done my share of work on cars so I agreed to the price and decided to purchase the car. They obviously did not want to sell this car as it was a good draw to get people onto their lot. They inflated the downpayment. I showed the add that said $599 down drive home today, everyone approved, no other disclaimers or anything. We wrote a check for $600 which was withdrawn the next day. and all the paperwork was signed.As I left the dearlership that evening at 10:30pm i got less then 100 yards away and the car was completely empty of gas and I had to push it to the gas station down the street. I had the car for the weekend and I went to sign final bank papers on Monday, when I did the sales director blocked the car in and refused to let me leave. They say it was because the car had 5000 miles more then the lender would approve, so they were going to keep the car. So what happened to everyone approved and only $599 down, They came back saying that I can get approved but it would need to be with around $6000 down. I know they wanted the car back because I had mentioned to the finance guy that I had fixed the radio and rewired the electrical to make the hard top work perfectly. Plus as I mentioned earlier they lost their biggest draw.The fuel system was also giving problems and the car would sputter and spit, this may have been because of the numerous times they let the car run out of gas, or maybe worse the mercedes mech say that it will damage the fuel system if it runs out of gas.They now have the vehicle back on the lot and have increased the price to well above KBB and they are selling it as a completely functioning vehicle. I did not get reimbursed for the work I completed and I was only able to get my down payment back, after calling the police. This car is the sucker car to get people on the lot, they cannot sell this car unless you have cash to pay for it completely and then once you do, good luck because you will not want to keep it, it is so damaged from not having gas that the repairs to the fuel system were estimated at $2300 to repair the fuel system, and any other engine problems resulting from that, plus the wiring is still exposed from when they were trying to see how I fixed it. I blame the sales director for the misleading advertisments and for not following up on there word. This is the worst dealership I have ever tried to work with. Lemon City.

Without exception, the most crooked, sneaky, conniving, deceptive, ruthless, underhanded people I have EVER had the horrible displeasure of meeting. Website is purposely created to include phony, non-existent, fabricated inventory to entice you into believing you have located a car on their lot that is reasonably new, and a fair price. DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT! It is a bold-faced lie of a gimmick to get you to come into the dealership where you will discover that the car you're most interested in, has suddenly and mysteriously disappeared! But they are quick and anxious to pull the old "bait and switch" routine on you, applying the "full court press" by all employees within earshot and eyesight, and talk you into a newer car with a higher price tag, for "approximately the same amount you were looking to spend" (insert fine print here!) TOTALLY corrupt business. God forbid you protest too vehemently, or prepare to be "ganged up" on by self-professed "Sales Managers" who have been well-trained to distract the focus and attention away from your apprehensions and belittle and ridicule you to exhaustion, counting on wearing you down into submission, or insulting you on your way out the door, suggesting you are the one who is being "unreasonable" and "uncooperative" just to save face in front of other customers in the showroom. I went there to buy a used car and the sales person was friendly but as soon I signed my contract they were not friendly and accomodating anymore. It also took three months and an argument with the finance manager to get me my car loan and the price that I was promised.

They do not return calls or uphold promises that they make. Due to their customer service I feel that people should avoid using this dealship as much as possible. I wish their ownser and GM understood how their employee treat their new customer. I could list more detail about my experoence had with both Shawn and Becky but it would take to long to list all the details. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALSHIP.Randy

We went in to look at several cars that we had found in their online inventory. They are not nearby, so we had asked them to make sure they had those cars in stock before we drove over. They did, but the car that we were really interested had a manual instead of an automatic transmission like we had been told.We test drove several vehicles and every vehicle we got into was completely empty of gas, to the point where the light was on, and they have a gas pump on the premises. So we had to waste a bunch of time putting a couple gallons in each car. We eventually decided on a new 2009 Hyundai Elantra. We got the usual song and dance about how we wouldn't get a better deal anywhere else. We did get a halfway decent deal out of them without too much trouble (about 300 more than the Edmunds TMV price). Their web site said they would give $500 in groceries or gas with any new car purchase, and they would give $25 in gas for any test drive. As part of the deal, they offered to bump the $500 in gas to $600. Before we signed the papers we asked to see the gas card and were told that the person that had them had left for the night and they were locked up, but they assured us we would have them in 2 days when we brought the car back to be detailed (it was late and everyone except the sales people had left).Everything was fine until we brought the car back to be detailed. Their $600 in gas turned out to be a rebate that would give back $25 in gas for every $100 purchased, with a limit of $100 a month, and with an expiration date in 3 weeks. So basically their $600 in gas that was promised turned out to be $25 at best. We also did not receive the $25 in gas for a test drive, even though we were also told we would get that too.Bottom line is that our sales person was friendly and helpful, although a bit clueless, but the internet sales manager was misleading at best about the gas credit.

Went in with a specific set of requirements for a vehicle along with a set maximum price. Also went in with the knowledge that the vehicle we really wanted wasn't available despite the fact that it's still on their website and on AutoTrader.com.However, we were told that another similar vehicle was available (at a higher price, but newer and lower miles, so we were OK with that).Guess what wasn't available anymore. Then there was the upselling and the showing of vehicles that did not fit our very rigid CASH maximum price (that's right, no financing so no hassles, right? HA!) or our simple requirements (a/c, cloth seats -- this is Arizona after all).Walked away after being shown vehicle after vehicle that did not fit our up front specifications. And, no, I don't want a phone call from those phonies, either, if they do manage to find something we want.

I came in to look at a 2003 Tiburon with 72k on it. They were asking $7733 for it, which is extremely reasonable (i thought). I was approached by Ray when I got there (he didn't even let me get out of the car before he started his pitch). I asked for the internet sales manager, who I had spoken with previously. When I met him, he pawned me off onto Ray, and basically turned his back to me. I test drove the car... and here is where I started having issues. Overall, the car was in good visible shape, minus the nearly bald tires. When I drove the car, I discovered that the window motors were both broken. When we braked, I got a horrible vibrating sound (indicating warped rotors). I got back and was mildly unimpressed, but figured if I could work a deal, I could do repairs myself, no big deal. I entered at $6500 (given the condition of the car), and they came back with $7380 with the windows fixed (a $70 repair). I eventually tried to work rotors and tires in (should have been fixed prior to their attempt to sell the vehicle), and they ran me up to $8634.25 PLUS TTL. I'm sorry, but in excellent condition, this car is blue booked at $8,335. NO WAY was I paying that. I also mentioned that I wanted to keep my payments below $175 over 5 years, and that my max price would be $8500. He comes back at the same price, and exclaims that "we have to pay Uncle Sam too sir," which baffled me because they probably are already making a good $3,000 on the car, why not make some room for TTL...Needless to say, I walked out. I could have fixed it myself, but like the previous reviewer said, I had a feeling it would be all smoke and mirrors... as soon as I left the lot the tires would blow and the speakers would be blown. I will NEVER visit this dealer again, and if a friend is considering going here, I would say pay a few extra bucks and go to Tempe Hyundai. My parents have had no problems with them and they have great staff.

When we went to this dealership we dealt with a helpful new car salesperson. But when it came to buying this car it was nothing but smoke and mirrors and bait and switch. The car we were looking at was the Kia Spectra 5 and they wanted $20,000 for it. Also this car was a 2008 and was supposed to have rebates on it. We never saw a rebate form or notice even though it was last years model. We should have left immediately but instead looked at other vehicles. The internet makes their inventory of new cars larger than it was and they had virtually no selection. When it came time to negotiate a price they offered us payments in the amount of $500.00 a month for an undetermined period of time. This price is greater than a Mercedes Benz or Cadillac. The car that they finally negotiated for us was a stripped Hyundai Accent w/AC and crank down windows. We were looking for a car that would have some resale value but this model that they arranged for us had neither. Avoid this dealership at all costs.
