I purchased a new Civic for my wife from Cape Girardeau Honda last week. My salesman was very friendly and answered all of my questions. I normally feel very intimidated when buying a car - its a process that is very stressful. He made me feel as if I were a valued customer and not some poor sucker who needed a car. I am on online shopper, so I got price quotes before setting foot on their lot. Cape Girardeau Honda's price quote was very competitive with the other dealers. My negotiation was simply showing my salesman the printed out copy of my price quote. --He did offer me other services, but they were optional. I could've done without the mountain of extras, but what dealership doesn't try to add on extra services? Some of them seemed like they would be good ideas for certain customers. Now my wife is driving a new Civic and she is very happy, which means I am happy, too! We will certainly be back.

I bought my car [Honda Fit] in 2007 and have taken my car to Cape Girardeau Honda for EVERY service job since then despite the fact that it means a two hour plus drive from where I live! I am always treated with the utmost respect and courtesy by everyone there. They are helpful with your needs and financing, the service dept is reasonable and helpful as well. They take into consideration your finances and do their best for your situation. I am single low income and am never treated less than any other person that comes in. I am always made to feel important. They always follow up afterward to make sure you are happy with your purchase and you are knowledgeable about your vehicle. I dont even check out any other dealers.

I go to Tim EVERY TIME I need something done to my car...or just check ups. I NEVER have to worry about something not being taken care of because Tim aoways takes awesome care of me. He explains why things happened the way they did so I can prevent it happening again and is super nice and helpful while explaining things to me. I don't go anywhere else. Honda really needs to give this man a raise and train all the train all the rest of their employees to match up to Tim's standards.

We have done business with this dealership for many years. All of the service guys are great to work with. Brad, however, is a pretty special person who always gives us personal attention and is terrific at explaining everything. Anytime we have questions or potential problems with our vehicles, even if out of town, we know we can call Brad and he will assist us any way we need. While we love Honda vehicles, we always consider the service we get from a dealership --- and that is what always brings us back to Honda and this dealership!

I took my car in for a simple oil Change and got so much more I got friendly service honesty and quick I wasn't sitting there waiting forever like anywhere else I would of gone and they had reasonable prices can't complain at all.

I have been dealing with Cape Honda for several years. Each time something needs to be done I request Tim. He is very attentive and prompt. He is very good at noticing things that may be a problem in the near future. Cape Honda would be lucky to have more employees like Tim.

I've dealt with many dealerships before, but this by far was my best....although most unfortunate visit yet! I was backing out of my moms driveway, little did I know my dog Rex was behind me! I lost Rex and a bumper and muffler:( After Tim fixed everything and heard our story, he insisted that he assist in burying my pet in the most beautiful pet cemetery in the midwest...((Devildog Acres). Brad went above and beyond trying to find alternative ways to save us money but still trying to fix the problem with our sliding door; he knew the expense was not in our budget right now since we had just fixed the other door within the last couple of months. He gave us a loaner van and also showed us some new features in it as well . . .

My service experiences with Brad have always been excellent. He has gone above and beyond the normal call of duty on several occasions to make sure I'm satisfied and getting the best service possible. Brad always offers helpful information without being pushy. Whenever I schedule a service appointment, I make sure it's during a time when Brad, my preferred service advisor, is also scheduled to work. During today's service experience, I had more work done than I had initially anticipated because of the 100,000 mile work that needed to be performed. I normally stay and wait for the work to be completed but this time needed to get back to the office. Brad had me in a loaner vehicle in five minutes making it possible for me to get back to the office without being late for my scheduled meeting. The vehicle exchange later in the day was done equally smoothly and quickly again making it possible to pick up my vehicle and get back to the office just in time for my next meeting. I really appreciate Brad's willingness to be accommodating of my work schedule while simultaneously making sure all my service needs are met.

Cape Girardeau Honda is a top of the line dealership. The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. They will do everything possible to make sure you leave with a Honda and a smile on your face. I also can not say enough about the excellent service department. They are extremely accommodating and have top-notch mechanics. They know your name, take time to ask about you since you were last there, and truly make you feel like family. While waiting for the service to be finished you are offered food, drink, free wi-fi, a ride to anywhere in Cape and a pickup when desired, or a car to drive yourself. Most people hate going for service. They would not feel that way if Cape Girardeau Honda was where they were going. As you can tell, I can not say enough good things about Cape Girardeau Honda. They are an asset to the Honda family.

I driven Honda cars since my first one, which was a 1975 Accord. So you could say that I have a lot of experience with Honda dealerships. I purchased my 2009 from Cape Girardeau Honda because of the excellent price. I have always had my cars serviced at the dealership where I purchased them. I was concerned about the fact that I live 50 miles (1 hour drive) from Cape Girardeau Honda. Shortly after purchasing this car, I discovered that the drive was well worth it. Their service department is excellent. The extras they provide while you wait, such as: a very comfortable waiting room, snacks and drinks, van service to local restaurants or shopping, is great! Also, this dealership sends me discount coupons for service on a regular basis. This policy really helps lower your service costs. I deal primarily with the service advisor, Brad Henderson. He is exceptionally informative, friendly, and professional. It is a pleasure to visit with him at each of my service appointments. Every person in this dealership is friendly and go the extra step to make you feel comfortable.I have and will continue to recommend this dealership to all my friends and family and will purchase my future cars from them.

I had recently been in a car accident, and needed a replacement vehicle. We immediately knew we wanted another Honda, and did not consider another dealership since we have always had positive experience with Cape Girardeau Honda. My husband and I were immediately greeted by staff, and only had to wait a few minutes for the salesman we requested to become available (Bud McMillan). He sensed that I was still in pain from the accident so he promptly answered questioned, showed us vehicles, and allowed us to test drive. He was efficient, but did not rush us. We had to wait the longest for the paperwork to process, but were confident that Chris Brown was taking his time to ensure we had the best rates possible and were taken care of adequately. The staff was also thorough in time management in that Kimber from Accressories was able to speak to us while we waited, explaining the accessories they offered in detail and answering our questions. We has no idea that we were interested in adding any additional accessories to our vehicle, until Kimber related our needs to the services they provided. Bud continued to check on us and talk to us throughout this process, never seeming to abandon us for other customers. David was also very knowledgable in helping is complete the financing process, as well as providing a positive experience for us. The entire staff was courteous, making small talk, without being overbearing. All of our questions and concerns were handled appropriately by everyone involved, and many staff members have followed up with us since we made the purchase. We also felt the price of the vehicle was great, as we had researched new and used vehicles online before our visit to the dealership. We feel like we were able to make an informed decision with the help of the staff at Caoe Girardeau Honda, and will be returning for our next vehicle.

To describe my experience at Cape Girardeau Honda is almost hard to put into words. From the moment I test drove the car to the follow up calls, I am very impressed. I was shopping for a car with 2 young kids in tow, and everyone knows that can add more stress than it is worth. The sales stepped in helped corral the kids, made the purchase easy, fast, and let me feeling confident. The car that I bought a 2012 Honda Civic, I am very very pleased with. I had at first wanted something different, but after driving all the others, thinking, and then dealing with the staff I went right back to wear I started.

They fixed my CRV Honda in 2 days I didnt need an appointment either. They had to order a part too. I came in a week before and they thought it was just a lose part and we thought it fixed it but it happned again it was chocking when I would step on the gas. I called and took it in the next day. They even gave me a loner. I was going out of town in 2 days and was very happy that they could fix it for me.

We just bought a brand new 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring Limited and they got the side molding on it for us plus the electric start on it , before we left for our vacation and it is great. The trip down here was wonderful. My husband and I both have bad backs and this is our 3rd van, this being the nicest Honda one so far, and it was a breeze. I didn't have to take any extra meds it wasn't painful, it was great. We love Honda's This is actually our 5th. My Husband drives a truck , and I have had now 4 different ones. I LOVE this one. Recommend it with 10 stars if I could. Everyone at the Cape Honda is great. A+++++in my book guys and gals. I have bought many cars from this dealership and have always received exceptional service. From sales to the service department, everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I'm a satisfied customer. They know me by name and I'm always greeted with a friendly smile. During my most recent visit I purchased a 2012 Honda Civic SI. My salesman, Vasile, was wonderful. The Accessories Sales Person, Ashley, was very informative on the products I could purchase and was able to answer any question I had. She was not "pushey" in her presentation. The Service Department, Brad, Rob, Rusty and Bill are always available to answer any questions I might have and they will work around my schedule whenever I need to take my car in for scheduled maintenance. Todd Limbaugh, Detail Department Manager, is always very thorough in making sure my car looks its best. Anyone that is looking for a Great Dealership, can stop searching and go to Cape Girardeau Honda. I'm positive they will find the experience awesome!

She was charged way to much by accident. The Honda dealership realized the mix up and fixed it along with a full refund. They called her and made her feel 1000% better about the whole situation. This is priceless to me as I can not live closer to take care of her.I love my own Honda vehicle and my faith in Honda's people who provide excellent service has been restored! Thank you so much!

Went in with the idea of working out a fair deal on a CRV. I had checked several sources on the value of my trade. Despite high dollar late model used car market that currently exists, they wanted to give me thousands below even dealer trade value and a hefty down payment to boot along with monstrous payment. I have an excellent credit rating and even used Honda USA financing in the past.It would be hilarious, except I didn't leave laughing. I've seen far better, fairer deals on the cable TV show Pawn Stars, and those people even KNOW they're getting ripped off.ABSURD!

I went to their web site looking to buy a 2011 Honda Odyssey Dark Cherry EX-L.You know how the line goes when you can come in for a test drive. Since I live about 4 hours away, there is no way I going to come in for a test drive without 1st having some idea of price.I wrote e mail back and told him what about my car and ask for the best price.Here is his reply: "I'll pass. I can sell that van to anyone. There's no need to give you a number if youre just going to turn it down. Good luck in your search"".I was taught that in commission sales, you worked for free with the anticipation of be paid, paid well.This individual does not want to sell automobiles. He wants you to come to him and beg to buy one.

Why ? Lousy service - even for an oil change, you need an appointment. Every Honda dealership (literally) that has some competition in USA is ready to crawl on all fours to welcome business, except here. We don't want them to grovel but in this economy and with no real good outlook on the horizon and the nation bleeding jobs, a little flexibility in attitudes will keep Cape chugging along. It was my first visit and it will surely be my last.

We just went in to trade in our 2005 Honda Odyssey today that we bought last year from Cape Girardeau Honda, only to find out that it had been in a wreck and has a salvaged title. My husband specifically asked if it had ever been in a wreck and was told "No". LIARS!!!! So, the van that we had expected to trade in today just depreciated in value $3000. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR HERE!

I had a very unpleasant experience at Cape Girardeau Honda. Very friendly service people, although they didn't repair all the problems that I had with my 2007 Honda Odyssey, at least they were nice. The General Sales Manager, Mike Skelton, however, was a complete jerk. Very unfriendly, unaccommodating, and I felt arrogant. 1) An incident happened last December, 2008, in which I spoke directly with Mike Skelton on the phone and he casually remarked that his employees must have made a mistake when forgetting to schedule me for a day when I was supposed to bring my minivan in for repairs. Luckily, I called the morning of my appointment just to make sure. He said that he didn't have a rental car for me and that he wouldn't get one from a local rental company either. He did not make any apologies for himself or his employee's mistake or the inconvenience of having to make a separate trip down to Cape during my Christmas holiday. My Honda Odyssey was "certified" and should have been in immaculate condition. It was not and there were some serious problems with it. When I finally got my minivan in and provided my list of problems, it took 2 weeks to complete and I when I received my vehicle back, I was still left with 3 lingering problems. I do give Cape Honda credit that the service men were very kind and friendly.2) Cape Honda's Free Gas Scam. What an incredible waste of my time doing this! I called to express concern when I felt that it was a scam and Cape Honda appeared to already know about it. The promotion that they had going was for a free $225 gas card through any of the major gas companies if a person were to purchase $100 gas/month and send in the receipts by the 26th of each month. Mike Skelton's solution to an upset customer: Have her drive an hour away to get free gas (or snacks or gas station food) from Rhodes 101 - A gas station found only in Missouri. Three oil changes available at a Honda dealer an hour away and a $225 off my next car purchase. Considering that I just bought a car, I probably won't be needing this for awhile. It is something, though. Mike Skelton was very unhelpful, unapologetic, and appeared to care less if I was his customer or if I ever returned. In this time of poor economic times, I would have expected a little more from Cape Honda. I will not return to Cape Girardeau Honda!
