I purchased a Nissan Altima last Friday (December 11, 2015). I just had to take a minute to share my experience. First and foremost, the Nissan brand as a whole is excellent. Over the last fifteen years, I have purchased 3 Altimas and 2 Muranos. I have never had any problems mechanically with Nissans. This is the first time I have purchased at Capital City Nissan and I will continue to trade cars with them. My sales rep, Sam Velasquez, was excellent. He was able to answer every single question and explain to me how everything worked on the Altima. He was friendly, and most importantly, not overbearing or pushy. Jeff Womack, from the finance department, was efficient and the process went smoothly. I truly believe I got the best I could for my trade-in at Capital City Nissan. I found a used car online that I was interested in. Sam called and asked how he could help. After listening to what I wanted, he suggested that he put some #'s together on my trade-in. Since I live 30 miles from the dealership, I appreciated him saving me a possibly wasted trip (if we were to far apart on the #'s). So, I stopped by Capital City Nissan to check out Nissan Altima which was one of the cars that I had in mind (Accord, Legacy being the other ones). I also had to exchange my old BMW which is quite past its due date. For starters, Nissan gave me a good trade in price for my old car and also gave excellent rebate for an Altima of my choice. They even didnt have the car with them and had to source it from another dealer. It was like they wanted me to have exactly what I wanted. However, after signing the contract, I went into their website to see cars priced similar or a little higher for additional features. This really put me off. I was paying x amount for a set of features and another car costing y amount with my features plus additional packages for only about 500 more. But it was too late because I had already signed the contract. My initial instinct was to back out of the deal and so I called up Capital City and spoke to Bilal Ashraf. He was extremely patient with me and was ready to help out at all costs. I had quote from Honda and Subaru and he patiently explained the cost of Nissan Altima. He was always ready to match the competition as well. After reasoning with him, I asked him an additional discount for the car or give me 5 year bumper to bumper for a discounted price. He agreed to later. Well, I was happy as ever. The point is not about the deal that I got. But about the impeccable service. They had all the cards with them (since I signed the contract) and they could have made me stick to it. But they didn't. They put my satisfaction upfront. Looking back, I got the car (color) I wanted with the features I want (convenient package) and at the price I wanted. Recommend working with Bilal Ashraf and Lee Barrios.

My husband and I went to buy a car, we knew what we want it. There was an older guy not very friendly and not professional at all. I have hear about this guy once again that he is not very nice. I will never go back again because when we were about to make a offer for this car. The older guy and his supervisor I don't remember his name but he was about 30, short wear glasses. He told us he couldn't do nothing for us in a very rude way. I was disappointed about this terrible experience. Allen Tilley is a remarkable sales consultant. He went out of his way to make sure we found exactly what we wanted. He was easily accessible by phone, email, and even text messaging. He was helpful but did not try to pressure me into something I did not want. I would give him a 5 star review without hesitating. Bill the Finance Manager gave his big sales pitch on additional warranty. I told him I was not interested and he kept asking why. He told us time and again how fast he wanted to get us in and out but kept asking about the additional warranty packages. He finally stopped talking about it when I told him no matter what you say I will not buy it. He also had the sale price off by $150 but I got it corrected before finalizing. Great looking cars on the lot but whoever details them is lacking some skills. I would never put any vehicle on the open lot without looking perfect. Many of the vehicles on the lot still looked like they needed to be vacuumed out. I talked with the guys in the service department and they were great. My cars will all be serviced their in the future. Prices were best around. Overall a good buying experience. The most important thing to me is the sales consultant and Allen was great.

Started as a great buying experience! Ended with me purchasing a used vehicle that was a fair price. So I thought! Agreed on price and I was pre approved for $40,000 from my credit union. I had my approval letter and all information needed. However,I was told that they had a car stolen and that my approval letter was not enough for them to allow me to take the vehicle. I had (while waiting on them to finish paperwork) called my insurance company and had them fax my (full coverage)insurance info to the dealer. They said I could write them a hot check for them to hold. WHAT? A very well known financial institution agreeing to pay you is not enough but a check from an account with insufficient funds is ok?? Whatever!?! So, I agree to take a day off of work to pick it up the following day after getting a check from the credit union. Then I have to wait for them to put the plates back on the vehicle I traded in so I can drive 40 miles back home only to return in 12 hours or so. I arrived back to the dealership in good spirits despite wasting my time and a days vacation. That is when I began to feel burned. I was greeted by the saleswoman that helped us the day before (she was great) and she introduced me to the Finance Manager. I had worked with the general sales manager the day before(he was great). I was treated great at this point. I handed off the check and noticed that I only had been given 1 key and fob for the vehicle. I asked where the other one was and nobody knew. I was told there was possibly another key but the person that would know was not in. I was instantly not pleased that this. Then the manager that had no knowledge of if there was or was not another key only seconds earlier suddenly said "the original owner ownly gave us one key". What?! Ok.....(me staying calm) I was not told about this yesterday. I may have not bought the vehicle had I known this. Why was this not disclosed?......Me."Is there anything you can do to get me a key? You are a nissan dealer. Can you help me with this?" finance manager "Sorry sir, the car only has one key". That was the end of the discussion. He had my check and the title to my trade and he didn't care if I was satisfied or not. As I angrily yet calmly walked out of his office I thought about walking back in and grabbing my title and ripping up the check. I was not happy and went out to my new (one key) vehicle only to be informed that the had not put my tag from my trade on the new one. I now had to stand in the cold as I became more and more furious waiting for them to put my tag on. Again,the sales staff was nice and appologized as I left (I think they knew I got screwed)and I headed towards the interstate for the 40 mile trip home. After making it home I went to price a new key and fob. I hit the roof! I paid the price and got my key and new fob. Now, I have never posted anything as far as a review goes but because the dealership had the nerve to ask if I would leave one for them I will. I like the Pathfinder so far and this would be a positive review had I not been told "too bad" when I questioned something that was not disclosed during my talks prior to purchase. I know "BUYER BEWARE" and I agreetotally. However, I feel misled and taken advantage of because of the actions of one person that made a good experience into the worst. I have never been that furious and still purchased something. I will never visit Capital City Nissan of Topeka again and I will tell everyone I can about my experience.

I bought a 2013 Nissan Altima S and loved every minute of it. I hated to get rid of it but I came down with some financial problems and Tom the GM was able to buy it back from me and pay off my loan so I did not have to claim bankruptcy. This took the financial burden off of my family and now we might be able to get caught up on some bills. I have been out of work since July 2014 and not able to go back to work. I came in on a Saturday about an hour to closing time. I asked for Allen Tilley because several people had told me that he was "the man" to talk to at Cap City Nissan. I told him what I was looking for (and I am picky)and I was driving the perfect vehicle for what I was looking for in less than 15 minutes. When I returned from my test drive Allen informed me that the staff was staying late to help me make that car my own. They did and they were so patient listening to my wants and needs. They also gave me an AMAZING deal on my trade in. Then for financing I got to meet Jim Long. He is a great guy! He didn't pressure me into purchasing anything that I was not 100% sure about and he gave me objective information about all products and services. I left excited because I got the car I was wanting in the Rogue but I felt even better because I was treated so well at the dealership. Where do I begin?? I recently bought a used 2012 Honda Fit Sport from Lee Barrios. I had contacted him about 6 months ago and promised when I was in the market I'd get with him. From beginning to end, Lee went above and beyond my wildest expectations of the car buying process. I was treated poorly in the past from a dealership that I actually worked for at the time and even after I left there. Capital City Nissan will be the only place I even consider going for service or to buy a car again. There are so many little details like getting us water while we waited for the business manager (who was also awesome by the way) to giving me a full tank of gas before we left the lot. My husband and I test drove about 4 or 5 cars and Lee was very knowledgeable about what they offered and how they would fit for us. (No pun intended) He also helped arrange my first FREE oil change for future and scheduled my car for window tinting (the guys at Absolute Tinting LLC are also great). 2 front tires were put on as well as this was something ordered when they did the used car inspection. Lee was helpful also in that he stayed in constant contact with me, even by text which was easiest while I'm working, and when he let me know my car was ready to be picked up, told me he washed it for me yet again! No dealership has offered so many little add-ons with their service. Most salesmen I have ever met just want the commission and whether or not you buy from them, once the transaction is over, you never hear from them. Not the case with Lee, he told me he was here to help us anytime and to answer any and all questions. If I ever have to buy another vehicle, THIS will be where I look first! Wonderful experience to say the least! :-)

We purchased a new 2014 Nissan Rogue AWD for our daughter for college. With the intent that she would not have to worry about anything going wrong. We have had at least five flat tires on this vehicle, two on the day we brought it home. We contacted the dealer to see if they would do something about the tires they said they don't have a exchange on tires, we were willing to pay a difference between the cost of the tires currently on the vehicle and new ones but this was not an option. We have never had issues with tires but we have had with this vehicle. We traded a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and never had flat tires on it either and it was driven the same places her new vehicle has been driven. We have purchased many new vehicles but never a Nissan before, we will not be purchasing a Nissan again.

I had a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 S and was just curious what a 2013 Nissan Altima would cost. I talked with Tom the owner and he was able to give me the deal of the century. I saved thousands of dollars and my trade was paid off and had equity left to put on the new car. I bought the extended warranty package as well and my payments were cheaper because Tom was able to get me a better APR through Nissan Finance. So I was able to drive a new car and my payment was cheaper than the older car. Tom is a great person he will do anything for his customers. This is the fourth car bought from this dealership my son bought 2 cars and I bought 2 cars within a 5 year period. This is the only place I will shop for a new or used car and that is because Tom will do what It takes to keep customer satisfaction. The Automotive Manager Randy Morehead is also great. He has a lot of great mechanics to do the job right with minimal cost. The oil changes are cheaper than Wal-Mart can you believe that? So in closing I would say that you need to buy your car and have your service done at Capitol Nissan Topeka, Kansas
