Had to give a shout out to the Service Department at Capitol Honda they never fail me. Seems I am one of those last minute people who decides her car needs to be serviced like the day before I am due to go out of state or almost out of oils, and every time I call in these little emergencies they get me right in!! I WAS THIS MORNING AT CAPITOL HONDA IN ORDER TO HAVE MY CAR SERVICE FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE. I DID WAIT 20 MINUTES AND NO REPRESENTATIVE DID HAVE THE COURTESY TO COME AND TALK. THERE WAS 8 MORE PEOPLE AWAITING AND TRUST ME EVERYBODY WERE VERY UPSET WITH THE POOR SERVICE RIGTH AS WE GET IN. THAT IS A BAD BUSINESS CARD. OBVIOUSLY I TURN ON MY CAR ENGINE AND LEFT. THIS IS AN OUTGOING ISSUE WITH THE SERVICE REPS.THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR SUCH DELAY AND LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE PEOPLE THAT SPENT THOUSANDS OD DOLLARS IN BUYING AN HONDA.HOWEVER I HAVE TO BE FAIR AND GIVE THE HEADS UP TO THE PEOPLE THAT WORK SERVICING THE CARS AS THEY DO A GOOD JOB.

I just bought a used 2008 Honda Civic from Capitol Honda on 12/6/2015. The car salesman, Tommy Lee Carter, was pleasant to deal with and patiently explained all the details regarding the car.The down payment was $2,000 cash for a total price of $11,847.80 and a loan amount of $9113.88.My credit score is in the high 800s, the maximum being 900.Much to my consternation, the finance team of Kao Saechao and Deepak Dhiman, both, of Capitol Honda, arrived at a quote of 8.9 %! Kao Saechao, an otherwise nice person, asked me, "What were you expecting?". What was I expecting? Obviously, not to be ripped off!! I told him that credit unions charged about 1.5-1.9% while the bankrate.com rate was about 2.89%.In the end Kao Saechao came back with a rate of 3.04%, which I accepted.The website of the California Department of Government Affairs states:>>Dealers must provide buyers with their credit score and an explanation of how it is used. <<Deepak Dhiman told me, expressly, that the credit score has no bearing on the interest of the car loan! When asked as to why I was, despite my 800+ FICO score, offered an interest rate of 8.9%, which came down to 3.04% when challenged by me, Deepak Dhiman said that the interest rate was high because the car was used, and not new. This is absolutely incorrect!Kao Saecho and Deepak Dhiman are nice people. However, they need to stop misleading car buyers and providing information that is patently not true.

Yes I purchased a used car from them, but it only had 36,000 miles. I love everything about my experience with them. I went in with the idea I want a CRV, so they stuck to what I wanted to look at. I went to follow up some paper work after getting a new car from here and my salesman is Mr. Tom Loi. I have never experienced such a bad customer service like this. I strongly felt disrespectful when talking to Tom. He gave me attitude when I asked questions. He even ignored me when I tried to get him. As I understand, selling car is also about customer service. And customer service is about satisfying consumer's needs. However, what he did was totally opposite. I would never come back here again even it offer a better price.

Noticed that the reviews here for Capitol Honda didn't look so hot, but myself and several cousins all bring our Hondas here. At a holiday get-together we all happened to talk about getting our cars serviced here, and everyone said they have been very happy with their Service Department. They regularly send out offers that can be really good deals, plus they'll give you a coupon for a free carwash next door. Johnny Nguyen is my guy, and he's the best. Laid back but with super customer service skills.

I recently purchased a brand new 2013 black Honda Civic Coupe EX. I came into the dealership with a very low price from another dealership. The other dealership was a bit farther away and was having a sale, which is why they were able to give me such a low price. Without asking questions, Capitol Honda immediately told me that would match the price I received, which was more $3000 off the MSRP. Then, they took another $500 off because I qualified for the Honda Graduate Program. I was very impressed to receive such a great deal of more than $3500 off MSRP of a new car. I was given 1.9% APR for 60 months initially. Later in the day, Max (finance) called me back to tell me I qualified for 0.9% financing, so I came in the next day to sign a new contract which was a quick in and out procedure. They definitely did not need to do this as I would never have known otherwise and this combined with my sales experience showed that Capitol Honda puts the customer's needs and concerns first.

I went into the dealership with a print out of the exact car with accessories I wanted. MSRP was $36,000+. The person who helped me, kept telling me he will "take care of me." When asked how much the car would cost, he would say again, "don't worry, I will take care of you." When I was finally told the price they would give me, it was about $4,000 less. I thought great, BUT I learned later that it was not the same car! I was sold a different car without the main package. The main package cost about $4,000. They didn't take care of me, they SCREWED me. Now all they can say is that there was a misunderstanding but be happy with the car because you got a good deal. I got MSRP! That is no deal!!! If you have your heart set on a Honda, go somewhere else where they listen to you and give you full disclosure.

My son and I went into this dealership just to look over the Accord and the CR V. We were in the vicinity and decided to start with CapitolHonda. Carlos Garcia came over to us and let us drive a couple of the new cars. He was most professional and knowledgeable even thoughhe was only employed there for five months. No pressure from him. Just very likeable and friendly. I would recommend this gentleman tomy friends and family as he wasn't your normal car salesman. Mike and Deepak make a great sales team. They were friendly, polite and never aggressive. They let me set the pace of purchase and went above and beyond to make sure that things went smoothly. On his day off Deepak was on the phone for me and tracked down exactly the car I wanted, and had it delivered from another dealership the same day. Mike took me on several test drives, which included road testing the cars on a steep incline and answering all kinds of questions. Mike's friendly personality was a welcome change, especially when sorting out the financing. Tong was friendly, helpful and even had me laughing while filling out financial forms. This was easily the most enjoyable and "painless" car buying experience I have had. If your service staff is anything like the sales staff, I'm sure that I'm going to be very glad that I went with Capitol Honda.-Claire Warren

I purchased a 2013 Honda Accord Sedan EX, Jan 2013. I previously owned a 2000 Honda Accord LX, what a diffence, WOW! Derek was an excellent salesman, very patient and not pushy, he allowed me to test drive a couple cars including the Pilot. The Honda cars sell themselves, you do not need a pushy salesman. Derek was extremely nice and very thorough explaining the computerized function details in the car to me and my husband. The car drives great and indeed it is a mini computer. I love the fact that it has a passenger side view camera when I am making a right turn, I can see if there are people or cars, etc on the side before I proceed turning. Also, the car has a rear view camera, I can see how far back I can back up into and if there are any cars or people, etc in the location before I proceed. These cameras are an addition to safety besides just looking in the mirrors and out the window before proceeding with your actions. I love my new car! This is my 6th Honda car in my lifetime and none of the cars have EVER let me down. I always followed the manufacture maintenance service instruction schedules. I never missed a days of work for the car not staring up in the morning nor a dead battery. I have been very fortunate. Thank you HONDA FOR MAKING A STABLE AND SAFE CAR for me to drive. My first car was a new American car and after 5 years, I had nothing but problems. HONDA PLEASE CONTINUE MAKING STABLE AND SAFE CARS, YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. Irene

I got a referral from Costco made an appt with the person who contacted me via phone & email and then was "assigned" another salesperson when I got to the dealership. If this had not been the only dealership that had the specific car & options I wanted, I would go elsewhere in a nanosecond. The salesperson (Robert Contreras) was not knowledgeable at all about he CR-V we wanted and was unable to explain the navigation system. All of the sales forms (David Melkomiam) had to be printed twice due to errors. And we waited 3 hours for that to happen due to the backup -- high sales at the end of the month were good for Honda but not for us.

Both my wife and I have been looking for a new auto for sometime. Most of the time was spent looking at prices from various dealer/manufacturers. This included both domestic and imports. Another big item we used to consider what brand was the number of recalls from the different manufacturers the past few years. After narrowing the brand list down to three brands we went to those dealers to see how we would be treated being non buying taking away sales time from various personnel.The "why" part: We returned to Capitol Honda because we were treated with respect by the personnel we dealt with - not just Ross who would up selling us a CRV for a good price. The finance manager also worked with us & we wound up getting a slightly lower interest rate than we expected which was great. Everyone we dealt with was polite and very helpful even if they were not working directly with us. Overall I would actually recommend this dealership and Ross to my friends if they were looking for a new Honda.

I was planning on getting my wife a new car for the holidays. She wanted an Accord. I did my research and had advice from my brother who for 2 years was a car salesman in Arizona. I went online and priced out Accords in my area. I got a very competitive offer from a dealer outside the bay area. I printed this out. My mother has purchased form Capitol Honda and had good experiences so I thought I would go by and see if they could match the offer and what deals I could get. I was paired with Ray Endeman. I spotted exactly what I was after an Accord EX Grey Metallic. We went for a test drive. During the drive I spoke about my offer sheet and that I wanted to see what they could offer for finance and lease. I also referred to the current deal Honda was offering. Make sure to always check daily at honda.com for what the current deal is. They were not aware of the current deal. I got the price I wanted and the lease terms I wanted. I arrived at 2:30 PM and drove my wife's car off the lot at 5:20 PM. To be honest was pretty painless experience. Ray was a quality salesman. Not the stereotype that some expect. My experience was great. He was direct and honest. He had made a mistake on one small thing and he owned up to it and took care of it. I would highly recommend Ray and Honda. Just do research and be prepared. It helped greatly and I got lucky with a great salesman and his manager too who he had to get approval from.I will definitely go to capitol honda for my next car.Ross

Stay away!There were a number of things that made the experience a bad experience but it mainly came down to the sales person. We arrived at the dealership around 7:30 knowing that we had plenty of time to test drive and perhaps see other cars along the expressway. We expressed that we were shopping for a car and saw a couple that were of interest. We requested a test drive and he insisted that we sit down and take a look at the car faxes before going for a test drive. We agreed and went over the car faxes with Ray. We all agreed that the car faxes looked good and requested the test drive again. For some reason, Ray was very reluctant and not eager to take us out for a test drive. He openly asked us if he took us out for a test drive and everything was fine, if we would purchase the car that night. We told Ray that we had some other stops along the way before making a decision and he insisted that we look at the other cars before test driving these cars. After some uneasy discussions, we were able to get Ray to agree to take us out. Ray was quick to take the passenger seat while I got into the drivers seat, leaving my boyfriend in the back not being able to check any of the options (A/C, radio, etc.). He also took a personal phone call during the drive which we found to be very unprofessional and rude.I can't say that the dealership itself is bad but if they have this guy as one of the faces of their dealership I can only assume the worst. Therefore, I don't recommend this dealership or this loser to anyone.I also question the integrity of all his other reviews. While they are all from different people, how can 100% of all of the reviews rate 5 in every category. Even price...c'mon. BS

Tom Loi is an excellent sale person. He spent time to explain and aneswere a lot of my questions and he made sure I had heart and understand what we spoke. He was also introduced me about the other model and made sure I like it or not. I was suprise about his knowlege about the car. Rude behavior from the the team. Unprofessional. Price is way higher from other Hondas. I came to trade in and buy a new car. Every time I asked for something the dealer had to go to check with the manager, and he was just the next room, answer it out loud For me to hear it too. Why not just come to talk to me too. The most rudest manager is the lady GE manager. I would never come back to this place in life. Suggest no one to come here.

I was leaving for out of town and unable to go check out if the offer was real. On Monday I did go because I wanted to meet Kao and see if I could get the deal he spoke about on the phone.While at Honda Kao handed me over to Wally to see the cars on the lot. Before doing so I asked that I be qualified financially before going out to the lot and falling in love with a new car. A short time later Wally was showing me cars. I wanted to upgrade a little, so he continued to accommodate me graciously. He found the car I wanted.Next came the signing on the dotted line. My biggest fear is walking into a dealership to purchase a car so I buy a Honda so I don't have to do this but every 10 years or so. This truly was the best buying experience I have had. This review is for Mike Emadi, at Capitol Honda. Yesterday, my mother and I walked into Honda to look at their Civics, and we had the pleasure to work with Mike. We were both skeptical because we feared that since we weren't too knowledgeable about cars, we were going to be taken advantage of. That definitely wasn't the case with Mike. He definitely made us feel comfortable, and I never felt inclined or "forced" to buy any car. After test driving a Honda Civic, I was disappointed that they didn't have the color I wanted (Dark Gun-Metal Grey). Mike some how pulled some strings, and managed to find the color I wanted! After giving me such a great discount and lease agreement, I ended up driving out out of the lot with my first new car which is a Honda Civic 2012 which I am IN LOVE WITH :). The gentleman OSCAR who handled my finances, was very kind to me as well. After going to other dealerships and dealing with other salesman, Mike and Honda Capitol exceeded my expectations! We were very happy with how smoothly our purchase went with our new Honda Accord V6.Matt Adams was great to work with and made us feel very comfortable. I brought my 2009 Accord in for a rattling noise near the rear speakers. When I dropped off the car I mentioned a concern regarding the brakes, as well. I don't know much about cars and can be a little intimidated having to deal with the inevitable issues that occur. Danny made sure he understood exactly what my concerns were and asssured me they would be taken care of. I was extremely impressed with his patience and professionalism. I felt that my service advisor was honest and didn't pressure me into needless repairs. My vehicle was having trouble starting. I dropped it off after hours and threw the keys in a box with a note. The next morning I received a call from Danny who advised me of the estimate to diagnose the problem. My car was fixed by that afternoon. No hassle, no attempt to sell me unnecessary services. I returned to pick up the vehicle after hours. Unlike the previous place that worked on my car, there was no greasy foot prints on the carpet or greasy steering wheel. I will be returning for my next service.

I've used Capitol Honda's Service department on many occasions, mostly for maintenance on my 2001 Honda Civic. They always do a good job. I wish I had known about them sooner!In 2001, I bought my car brand new from Stevens Creek Honda, but the SRS light came on a few months later. When I took it back to Stevens Creek Honda, they told me nothing was wrong, ignored the problem and just manually turned off the SRS warning light. So I drove around for years like that, until my full-car warranty ran out. After my 100K maintenance, everything in my car was reset and the SRS light came back on.I took it to Capitol Honda's Service Department this time around, and they were able to figure out that it was being caused by a defective driver's seat buckle. Even though it's been over 10 years, the service agent Johnny Nguyen let me know that the SRS system is covered under a life-time warranty, and replaced the part for me free of charge. Now I feel safer knowing that everything in my car is functioning properly.I'm glad that Capitol Honda is honest and thorough (unlike Stevens Creek!). I definitely will keep using their service department because I know I can trust them. Also, if you bring your car in on a Saturday, you get to enjoy a free barbecue while you wait, and it's delicious! What a great perk! :)Capitol Honda's Service Department is fast, friendly, and reliable. And I appreciate that they go the extra mile to take care of me and my car.

Frustrating at best. Trying to work a deal that I know was doable. Was told over the phone, "Sure, come on down". But once on site they started wheeling and dealing. I left after wasting 2 hrs. Talked to 2 sales men and two sales managers. They called me back two days later. New guy. Said he could do the deal. "Please give me a chance". Went down and got the same run around. This time I only gave it 45 min's. Left there and drove south and did the deal there. It's to bad. Capitol Honda has done service work for me and they are great. Customer focused. Attention to detail.. Sales = F Service = A+

I have had the good fortune of meeting Daniel Lopretta at Capitol Honda and now exclusively return to him for all my service needs. He is always friendly, outgoing and goes beyond his scope of responsibilities to assist me with any questions or issues I have in regards to my Honda Fit. Scheduling is done promptly and arranging for my car to be serviced quickly has become the norm. Daniel works with me when there are major maintenance issues to tackle in terms of time and budget constraints. He has excellent follow-up --- even procuring auto glass quotes. Typically I am skeptical of dealerships for service but I now have a peace of mind and feel confident in returning to Capitol for service. Took our Odyssey in for a minor service and a problem with certain HVAC control panel backlights on the dash that were out.I was greeted immediately by Daniel at the service center porte cochere and he checked me in, was on top of his game the whole time, didn't blow smoke or try to push anything additional, and made the initial process smooth and easy. Wanted to get a minor service done and have some burned out lights on the dash replaced. Service went smoothly and they also discovered torn control arm bushings.Daniel worked with my third party warranty company to address both the lights on the dash and the control arm bushings. Daniel worked extremely diligently with the warranty company, whom was not the most cooperative or responsive, and in the end, the warranty company was only willing to address the dash lights and stated that until the control arm bushings were completely torn, they would not cover the cost for repair.Initially this was frustrating, but Daniel let me know that control arm bushings will likely tear completely in the next 6mo to 1yr and that it was not a safety concern. He offered to have me come in at any time over the next several months and have them checked at no cost, so that I can monitor it and not let it get to a point where it is severely altering my alignment and thus chewing up my tires.This whole process took only two days and the entire time Daniel was providing me with email updates on status (which I loved) and he was answering a ton of questions from me with concise answers in a helpful tone/manner the whole time.I will be honest, typically, I am not a huge fan of dealerships. I have almost always done my own work on my other Hondas and am very particular. This experience from a customer service standpoint was stellar and made all the difference. I also feel that all service advisors should come from a Technician background (Daniel does) and I feel that this made a world of difference in how he was able to explain things and understand the real work behind the scenes.Overall, a great experience, and one that reminded me of just how important the role of the service advisor is. When I go back to Capitol Honda - I will be working with Daniel if at all possible.

We expected our Odyssey to eventually need some work since it had over 222K miles! When the check engine light went on, we learned that a new transmission was needed. It was time to look for a new car. We received excellent help from Matt Adams in looking at available choices and Kao was very thorough while taking the time to present several financing summaries. We had worked with Matt a year earlier on another purchase and this experience was just as pleasant. After completing our purchase of a 2012 Pilot, we needed to have a running board installed. Rene Flores, who was our service advisor for the Odyssey, had that done properly in a few hours. We were able to get a few other things done in the meantime since Matt was good enough to arrange a loaner for us.

My husband and I went in for a casual visit with the expectations of possibly purchasing a new vehicle in 3-6 months. By the end of that day, we left with a new CR-V in our name. We worked with Deepak, who was personable and charming. He was very approachable and the anti-thesis of the stereotypical pushy, sleazy salesman. Deepak was great to work with, an exemplary and valuable employee to Capitol Honda. He has gone out of his way (many times, I might add) to help answer my various questions in a timely manner, despite the fact that it's been about a month since I've bought the car. He even offered to personally pick me up from my home and drive me to the dealership to pick up my car. How's that for service? For him, the sale is just one goal: customer satisfaction is a priority for him, as well. I highly recommend working with Deepak for your next car purchase as you won't be disappointed by the experience.

I found the salesperson Matt Adams especially helpful and friendly when I was looking for a used car. I was not sure what I wanted only with what I did not want to buy. He showed me several cars and let me decide without pressure. This was my first "good" experience while buying a car in over 40 years. Normally, I would feel over pressured and overwhelmed. As a female it's very intimidating to take your car in to get any service work on it. We always feel like we are going to get taken advantage of because of our lack of knowledge regarding cars. However, with Angelo Pinillos at Capital Honda my experience was a good one. He was very helpful in answering any and all questions that I had regarding my car and the the service work I was getting done on it. He let me know all the costs up front and also an estimated time my car was going to be done. He even assisted me in getting a rental car while my car was out of service. Angelo was extremely professional and very polite. Because of my first experience with him I felt comfortable returning my car to get a maintenance service done on it. Ray is fantastic at what he does. He is extremely nice and you can tell he genuinely cares. His presence in general made me feel at home, and that he was looking out for my best interests. Normally when I go to dealerships I feel that they are trying to scam me, or put me in a position to make a quick buy on a vehicle, however Ray is the complete opposite of that. He took his time, and broke everything down to me on a step by step basis. He really made me feel like he was on my side, and I feel like he genuinely cares about people. I gave him the highest ratings because he deserved it in all categories. He has awesome customer service, extremely friendly and gave me a really good price on the vehicle he sold me. I had done my homework before going into this dealership - so I had the model of car, price I wanted to pay, and color preference. Matt was the sales consultant assigned to work with me. I quoted my price, shared my color preferences. We walked out to the lot, saw a few cars of the different colors in stock at the dealership. I picked the color of car I wanted to buy. Matt went in to speak with his manager. He came back to check with me to see how firm I was with my number. He went back again to speak with his manager. Within 15 minutes the deal was sealed. Another 15 minutes of test drive. We shook hands. Started the paperwork. Drove out of the dealership with a brand new 2012 Honda Civic LX in less than 2 hours. Matt was very professional, very courteous, very thorough with explaining every feature of the vehicle. Matt is a very good salesperson to work with. As with buying anything that is financed, it was no surprise to me that the longest time I spent at the dealership was in the waiting room filling out the purchase application, waiting for the credit check to be run, waiting for the car to be readied, and then finally signing a ton of papers. Tong, from Finance, was another great experience at the dealership. No hard sell with anything. Just gave me the facts on all the options I had. Took my answers without any attempt to sell anything. I had a very brief conversation with Roger (Sales Manager). He too came across as very professional and courteous. Overall, an extremely pleasant experience of buying a car at Capitol Honda. If you ever need a Honda (in the Bay Area) go to Capitol Honda and I will highly recommend that you ask to see Matt Adams on your visit to this dealership.

As with any dealership I'm sure, this was an overall good experience but they were not perfect. The sales manager we worked with initially (Raul) is great. He is easy going and makes you feel very comfortable. He did bring out a sheet printed from Kelly blue book and claim it to be an official Honda invoice price, but other than that I really liked working with him.Another sales associate named Roger really made this deal happen by working with us on price and options until we both felt we were getting a fair deal. Roger was totally straight forward with us, but provably because we talked to him with a lot of knowledge already so we were just haggling the details. The person who helped also named Ray was awesome and helped after we agreed to buy the car with paperwork and checking to make sure it was cleaned, had the alarm installed and that we were comfortable and happy during the whole process of finalizing the deal.Our only bad experience was dealing with Capitol's finance manager, who was quite an experience to deal with. He seems like he's had about 3 energy drinks right before he meets you, and he talks a mile a minute. Although annoying that would have been excusable had he not lied to our faces about the warranty info, and also he doesn't know anything about the actual finances except what is written on the paper. 1) Warranty - We were told we had to buy their extended warranty before we drove the car off the lot, or it was immediately considered a "used" car and was no longer eligable for the warranty. This is a complete lie. 2) After coming back the next day having done some research on warranties, he was instantly willing to drop $1,000 off the price and we still got a better off somewhere else. I don't know why Honda pricing on their warranties is so different from dealership to dealership but it's kind of disheartening and we feel u sure buying one from any dealership now. 3) We asked where the interest number came from based on our financing and he said he couldn't tell us, that's just "how it was". I finally pulled out a piece of paper and figured out that interest was multiplied by the amount due each year, and those numbers were added together. Very simple math, and knowing this stuff is his *job* 5 days a week. I tried to explain to him how his own company calculated total interest over 5 years, and I'm still not sure he understood it. Unacceptable.This individual was almost enough to sour our entire experience, since he was the last person we dealt with, however I'm keeping in mind all the other great and hard working individuals like Raul, Robert, and Ray who made the overall experience enjoyable and something I would recommend to friends (with a heads up about certain things like warrant info).

After much shopping around solely via email, I purchased a 2012 Pilot at Capitol Honda and had a great experience. By email, I dealt with Ray Uhri who was quick to respond and beat the best price of any Bay Area dealer who I had reached out to. Still, I was concerned that after driving 55 miles from San Francisco that stereotypical tricks would be pulled or that the model/color I wanted wouldn't be there. My fears were completely unnecessary. Ray was off the day that I came to the dealer so I dealt with Lou Tobias, who was courteous, professional, fair, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want. He's been doing this for 7 years and it showed. My internet price was honored (even lowered a little bit). I think that Lou could sense that I was well prepared and armed with information and respected that. Finally, I completed the financing with Max Kibu, another veteran, who made things as quick and painless as possible, and without any last minute surprises or hard sells for add-ons. Capitol was the 5th Honda dealer that I'd visited in person during the past month (test drives, looking at colors at others) and, without a close second, was the most professional. Thanks.

Oscar is the best car salesman I've ever worked with. He's extremely helpful, knowledgeable, sincere, humble and patient. I had just visted Toyotoa on Capitol feeling dissapointed with the entire process. I felt they didn't want to work with me at all. I was ready to go home since it was late but we decided just to "look around" at Honda. From the first moment Billy introduced himself I felt a different dynamic. Then we met Tony, and he really worked with what I needed. He made what I was looking to pay possible when Toyota said it "was IMpossible". I needed some repairs done on my 2000 Honda that I thought would be best handled by a dealer. Since Stevens Creek Honda was closer, I went there first - big mistake! They tried to charge me just to look at the car, and that charge wouldn't apply to the repairs. I told them what the problem was, it didn't matter. I could go on, but this is about my experience with Capitol Honda. From the minute I called them to the moment I arrived, I knew I made the right choice. When I called, I spoke with Sean, one of the service mangers. He actually apologized for my experience at Stevens Creek Honda and told me to come in and they would take care of the problem. When I got there, Sean was with a customer, so I dealt with the assistant service manager, Angie. Not only was she very knowledgeable, but she had a great attitude. She even brought me back to speak directly to the mechanic who was working on my car. The mechanic was very helpful and explained exactly what was going on and the best fix for it. (I apologize, but can't recall his first name.) They had to order a part ,which was in the next morning. Angie sent the shuttle driver over to pick me up - I didn't have to ask. When I arrived, my car was ready to go. To put it simply, if you need work done on a Honda, you will be doing yourself a great service if you first go to Capitol Honda and ask for Angie or Sean. You'll be glad you did.

Erika Perez was very helpful and friendly in assisting me at Capitol Honda. Even though I was just taking my car in for an oil change I did not feel I was treated any less important. I gave her a discount coupon for the oil change which she gladly accepted. She recommended tire rotation without pressure. I was impressed by her initiative to check my Accord for any recalls. Whether this is routine procedure or not this action reflects a dedication to make sure my car is safely drivable. Oil change was expressly completed ahead of schedule. Luart Tobias exceeded all of my expectations and cleared any misconceptions I associated with car salesmen. Luart went above and beyond to make sure I was more than happy and that I got the exact car I wanted down to every detail. I was originally planned to wait two weeks for the car I wanted and after one week of commuting to work without a car I decided I could not wait another week. I contacted Luart and explained my dilemma and that I would sacrifice my cosmetic desires for a different car that I would be able to drive off of the lot that weekend. Luart immediately went to work and stayed after hours to find the exact car I wanted that would be able to be delivered so I could have it that weekend. He found the car and after some persistence on his end I was able to get the car the very next day. As far as pricing and trying to manipulate the price in Honda's interest, I found no such problem. Luart was not a sleezy car salesman that was only after my money. He actually cared about me and what I wanted in a car and was the one that talked me out of settling. He told me I should not settle for a car I would only like and not LOVE and he was so right. I have definitely recommended Luart to friends and family and would recommend this dealership to anyone I came in contact with. All of the staff was super polite and I was always greeted with a smile. I can not thank Luart enough or rave about his professionalism enough to justify how much I appreciated his service.

I bought my 2012 Civic from Ray this weekend. He was the only person wanted to help us while everybody was seemed busy. He was very clear and honest. Ray was so great! As a couple it was our very first time buying a new car and he made the experience so memorable. We went to Honda just to compare cars and were not sure if we wanted to buy that day, however because of Ray's enthusiasm, great energy and knowledge about the new Hondas we were sold. I felt like he really listened to our needs and sincerely wanted to make sure we were happy with the car and price. He was very patient and polite throughout the whole process. Capitol Honda had a good selection of CRV's at the time and were fairly easy to negotiate with once I had offers from other dealers. I didn't feel pressured by the sales staff and they were professional and courteous throughout the sales process. I financed the purchase through Honda during a 0.9% APR promotion. The finance process was easy. The sales person, Ray Uhri, also took the time to explain the features of the car. I would recommend working with Ray to anyone looking to buy a Honda.

Per a recommendation from a friend, I took my car into Capitol Honda for service almost 3 years ago when I moved to the area. I had loved my previous dealer so they had big shoes to fill. Not only did they meet my expectations, they exceeded them! This last service was especially critical for me as the economy has hit me very hard. I was having problems with the clutch sounding really bad, shuddering, etc (Honda Civic Hybrid - Automatic). I was very worried that the cost would be so much that I could not do the work. I brought it in, explained my problem and they consulted with one of the master mechanics to verify what they thought it was. There was a service bulletin that they had all taken the time to read that referred to this problem. Although I was right on the edge of the maximum time to deal with this, they went to bat for me with Honda America and a very expensive service bill was averted - covered by Honda! In addition, my car was done a day early - also very good for me. One last thing - while checking out my car, they noticed that a light had come on that referenced seat belts/air bags. They checked that out, too (also under warranty), and fixed a seat belt issue that could have been very dangerous - my air bag might not have deployed if I had been in an accident.I have only great things to say about this dealership and the staff there and will continue to bring my car in for regular service. Thanks everyone, especially the Service Manager, Sean, and the Service Writer, Angie, who kept me informed every step of the way.Highly recommend these guys for EVERYTHING!!

I just bought a used Honda Accord for my son, and the SRS light was on. I have visited a couple of certified Honda mechanic shops in the area as well as other Honda dealers in San Jose and they all requested at least $150 just for the diagnostic. Capitol Honda executed the diagnostic and the consequent repair AT NO COST (it was the seat belt buckle which has a life time warranty). Safety should be a concern of all car dealers and I really appreciate the excellent service received at Capitol Honda!

We wanted to buy our car through Costco program. When I submit my request I got a response less than 5 minutes from Ray. When we went to the dealership they paged him and there he was. He was polite and very kind. We were out if the dealership less than 2 hours and driving my 2011 Accord. He is highly recommended and I will refer all my friends to him.

I have had my Honda Civic Hybrid serviced at Capitol Honda over the years. There was a recall notice on my car that I needed to have serviced. I was not getting around to it. Capitol Honda called me yesterday and reminded me of the recall notice and would I like to have the service performed to resolve the issue. It was a potential safety issue so the repair needed to be made. I had no problem scheduling. I brought the car in the morning and was handled almost immediately. We discussed some other service issues that were relevant. As a result I had some work done on the front visors that were beginning to go. Bottom line Angelina discussed service issues that were relevant to my needs. She was very informative and customer oriented. I felt that she and the staff behind her were focused on the service needs for my vehicle. She devoted the right amount of time and I was quickly on my way. Angelina was professional, friendly, courteous, communicated very clearly, and was concise. The staff that I had contact with was friendly, courteous, and professional. All the staff followed through with what we agreed upon in a very reasonable amount of time. I had the service down during the work week. The service department regular hours was very accommodating. I was able to drop my car off in the morning, get to work on time, work a normal day and pick up my car at the end of the day.I have used Capitol Honda over the life of my car and will continue to do so. As an automobile the Civic Hybrid has been a good performer. So I could see myself going to Capitol Honda when looking for a new car.

I put over 40,000 miles on my Honda Accord a year for work and I need to have the best Honda service department available and I have found this with Capitol Honda! The reasons are many so let me list a few of the most important:1) first and foremost is they only provide work when it is necessary, I never feel under pressure or they have to meet some kind of quota to sell parts. There have been times when I felt that I needed some service work and was advised this can wait.2) I have never had an instance when I had to go back to the dealer on their work. This is very important to me when I have limited time to begin with.3) My service rep. is extremely knowledgable on my Honda, she goes out of her way to ensure I am completely satisfied and understand everything that has occurred.4) They always exceed my expectations, sometimes I get a lift to work quicker then I expected or usually they have the car completed earlier.5) The pricing is extremely reasonable, if there are coupons available they always apply them.6) I honestly feel my car having 165,000 miles runs like a brand new car and this is 100% because of Capitol Honda.Service is the name of the game for me and I am thankful that I found Capitol Honda over four years ago. I have also purchased a car from them and would recommend them to anyone who wants the best Honda service in the bay area.

When we arrived the dealership Ray greet us promptly and showed us the inventory right away. We weren't really planning to buy the same day but after walking the whole lot we saw a red Camry and we liked it. After the test drive we just wanted to see some finance options. We didn't have a good credit but Tony Johnson helped us to get the right financing for us. Me and my wife love out new car and Ray made sure everything was smooth and painless. Finance manager Shak is one of a kind person. He wasn't pushy at all. He showed us some options and asked if we would consider.I would recommend this dealership to everyone and Ray, Tony, and Shak are the most amazing people we have met today.

Our salesman, Luart, was exceptional from start to finish-we even ended up buying two cars that day! Visited Capitol Honda for an oil change. In the process of conversation with Angelina, mentioned that my care makes a noise when turning on slow speeds. She immediatelly changed the warranty information, found that warranty has been extended, identified what needs to be done, scheduled me in for the same day. I had my car back later that day, with steering wheel pump replaced. In the process, Angelina was very friendly, made me feel comfortable, and, as an icing on the cake - provided free coupon for a car wash.This was overall a very pleasant experience.

I highly recommend Capitol Honda, both for new sales and for service. We now have 3 Hondas, two Accords and a new CRV. I love coming to Capitol Honda for servicing...they are always prompt, courteous, keep us in coffee and danishes, and do a great job servicing our cars. This was my first experience with their sales personnel and they are every bit as helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of our needs. We would definitely buy from them again and particularly appreciate all that Ryan did to get us a good price and help the final process go smoothly.

had 60,000 major service and power steering serviced six months then after power steering started to bother again. found out abut it coz brought the car to another dealer and told me need power steering fluid replace and filters change. told them had a major service 6 mos ago. brought car back to honda capitol bla blah blah same thing oh we did this we did that. terrible service never again will come. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Total disregard to customer service. I was interested in buying a Pilot 2011 and every time I had to call the dealership with no response from them, in spite of the sales guy saying we will call you right back. And then hours later when I didn't get any response, the answer I got was we've been really busy here ??? If you're not busy catering to your new customers, what are you guys busy with ? Pushed me to come sign the papers, and told me that car won't be available till next day (didn't give even the time). Do they really expect any customer to sign a loan without even looking at the car ? STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. You'll find much better shopping experience at dozens of dealerships around the bay area.

I bought a brand new Honda Pilot 2011 there and boy did they rip me a new one. I would not, under no circumstance would I ever, buy or advice anyone to buy from them. I feel so angry and violated over the entire experience. I guess I really should not have gotten excited and bought the same day, but man, can they be so heartless. My sales person told me that the vehicle I wanted, was nowhere in California and it will take about 3 months to get one. Being set on that particular vehicle, I was talked into getting something far more expensive than I should have.Avoid Capitol Honda at all cost.

Their service quality kept decreasing over the last 4 years.Told me to wait 1h, I waited 2.5h.Told me that replacing front brake pads will be ~30$, asked 309$ afterward. Damn I wouldn't have changed them if I knew how much they'll ask. Then they say - sorry, miss communication.Asked them about ~6 times (no kidding - almost every time I went to them for servicing) to lubricate the damn clutch pedal, as it sometimes squeaks. They changed master cylinder (twice!), pedal, etc. The result: the squeak is still there.Apart from the pedal, their work quality was otherwise good.However, I don't like to be cheated the way I was today - being charged for something I didn't want.I'm done with these guys.Not recommended any more - you'd better find yourself a more serious place.

Worst experience ever, price negotiation will make you sick in a mater of few min. I bought my new CR-V 2008 several ours later from another dealership not to mention much cheaper from what they want in Capital. They also pushing overpriced extra accessories including outrages installation charge (they install it without asking future customers on all new vehicles and add em to the total cost) to make a huge profit from something customer dont even need or want right away. All sales stuff Ive dealing with are liars with pitbull attitude. If you like to be ripped off and humiliated this place is for you.

I gave my 2007 Honda for service, they told me that it's better to repair front brake and that will cost $300; I refused for that. I let checked my car with other Honda dealer and they said, there is NO PROBLEM AT ALL with my front brake. Afterall it's 2007 model. The quality of work is pathetic.

Rude, rude and rude!They want your money bad, but at the same time they are very rude. Brought my car for a road test, and they gave me estimate of $137. They say it's for diagnostic. I say WTF? No dealership has ever written an estimate for road test because they don't know what the hell the problem is. I went with the road test and the mechanics (having been informed by the service assistant about me complaining about the estimate) made all sarcastic comments during the ride.Please save yourself time and money and avoid this dealer.There are a lot of dealership out there that will appreciate your business more.

I bought a 2006 s2000 for the sticker price of $34,600.00 and I have a cousin that works there so they said I could receive a 2000 dollar family discount. I was a first time buyer and was whizzed through the paperwork. All the while he was talking about everything else ezcept the financing. Well he reassured me that thediscounts had all been applied when I asked, so I signed away. The salesman, Ross, an older gentleman and the business manager both knew that the family discount was never applied in the financing and lied to me. After I left the dealership, I looked over the paperwork and was still charged for $34,600. I would not have got all the extras if I knew that the family discount was not applied to the cost. These people smiled at me while they were lying through their teeth. I went back 3 weeks later to complain to "Roger" and was told that he would look over the financing and he would do something to compensate me. I have not heard from him. The only thing they were ever worried about was a survey from honda that they wanted me to give good ratings. They have very deceptive salespeople and finance people that cheat hard working people out of their hard earned money.

My girlfriend bought a cetified used crv form them about a year ago and on a roadtrip it brokedown in Grass Valley. It turned out to be coil, not a big deal. the problem was that they had to unhook the battery to fix it and the stock radio has an anti theft feature that requires a code to make the radio work after power has been disconected. She called them and spoke to five people before anyone had any idea of what the problem was. She was then told to stop by and have it fixed the next day. She stopped by and then was told she needed an apointment, and it would take at least an hour. So she called another dealership and had the problem fixed over the phone in about two minutes.

I had heard many horror stories about car service but I had never belived it untill it happend to me. I took my car to this dealer to fix couple of recalls and to change my oil and filter and to rotate the wheels. Gentleman on the counter convinced me to go for wheel alighnment along with the rotation for an additional charge. But before taking my car to dealer I had marked my rear wheels so that I would make sure they really rotated my wheels. But to my horror and surprise the wheels were not rotated....obviously they didn't know I had marked it. AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND ROTATION. I highly recommend that please don't go to this dealer to get RIPPED OFF.

If you have the money or if you're with your father, they will treat you nicely.<br><br>When I went alone (21 yr old), they refused to give me a test drive because they are "busy." They even refused to give me a brochure.<br><br>I also overheard a guy saying on the phone "there're 5 people looking at it right now, you have to come now" while I swear.. I saw no one on the lot but me. But I guess sales talk right.<br><br>When I came with my father, the deal went smooth. Gave me a test drive and straight forward talk on how much the car is..etc. went smoothly.<br><br>If you look young, don't expect a test drive.
