1st time there. Called 2 days before to make an appointment.Arrived on time and gave the service advsior all the info whichI had previously given when I made appointment. Was told tohave a seat in the lounge and it would probably be a couple ofhours. Hour and a half later, serivice advisor said that they werebacked up and would not be able to even look at my vehicleuntil 1:30 or 2.. i I said forget it and went home. My first timethere and it will be my last. They are much closer to my homethan the other Chevy dealerships. ---- doesn't matter -I wouldn't buy a vehicle from this dealership under anycircumstances.---- I mean --- i just didn't walk in - Imade an appoinment 2 days before.-- GOOD GRIEF!!!!

I have now purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership in the past 4 years. The sales experience has always been very smooth and low pressure. I realize every car dealer is eager to sell a car, but not all of them are willing to take care of you after the sale. That"s where Carl Black sets themselves apart. The service department has been fantastic, I've never felt like they were trying to stick something to me. It's also nice when your service adviser recognizes you as you walk in. I recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I want to start off by thanking the guys in service for always going up and beyond. I came in the dealership with out an appointment. The guy behind the desk said no problem where busy but we can get you in a loaner. I was like great. In a few hours they called me and had my vehicle fixed. I just want it to be known that Carl Black staff does what every dealership should do. TAKE CARE OF THERE CUSTOMERS. Thank guys in service I'll be back again!

HORRIBLE! Bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze last year and paid for the extended warranty. I brought my car in a couple days ago and informed them that the battery was not turning over and there was corrosion on my positive cable. They told me the warranty didn't cover the battery or cable so it would be $400 to replace because they had to put another GM battery in the car despite the fact that there "GM" battery already in the car couldn't make it 18 months without leaking. After speaking with the service manager who was less than helpful, i took my car to a small shop by my house. low and behold "THEY CLEANED THE CORROSION" for $20 and VIOLA!!!! it worked beautiful. Carl Black tried to charge me 400!!!! for a battery and cable that had no issues! LIARS, CHEATS!! would not recommend to anyone!

This is my second purchase here and I won't go anywhere else. Our salesman Josh was very knowledgeable of all the vehicles and gave us in depth knowledge of the vehicles we were interested in and was absolutely amazing. Josh offered us a very calm hassle free relaxed alternative to purchasing a vehicle. We felt no pressure and in return were there to purchase a second vehicle a week later and we are a two hour drive away. We couldn't find ourselves shopping anywhere else but at the best and that's what Carl Black of Orlando has to offer! They have unbelieveable prices and were able to match and offer better competitors deals. The Manager Lance was amazing and came out to greet us and with a warm friendly welcome and was very helpful too.Even the owner Omar came out to greet us too. Carl Black provides superior customer service and satisfaction with a family like positive atmosphere. We were not customers to them but treated like family and that is truly amazing!!

With dealers like this GM will go under again! Poor organization, they act like they are doing you a favor by being there. GM product is much better now, but the dealership makes the total experience. Need a total replacement of management,if not ownership!

I had a very pleasant experience working with Abe test driving a 2015 Silverado. He was patient and listened to everything I had to say and thoroughly paid attention to everything I was looking for in a truck. We walked the lot and looked at the details on nearly every new Silverado 1500 in every trim. We took a drive in the one that checked all the boxes on my list of needs.Abe was excellent to work with, super nice guy, and didn't force me into anything, as most salesmen are depicted. He worked with a sales manager, Ish, who bent over backwards to get me great price on the truck. He sweetened the deal, but I personally decided to wait until I could save a little more money to afford a new truck.While I didn't purchase that day, I intend on returning to give Carl Black of Orlando my business.

Corey, the salesman greeted me with a big smile when I told him I was there to test drive the 2013 Camaro they had advertised. He went to get the keys and a few minutes later told me we were not allowed to test drive that or any performence vehicles until we bought it. I explained I had chatted with an online consultant about this car and was not told this. He seemed just as suprised as I was. I then went to his manager very upset and explained I had just driven an hour to get there, paid tolls and now was being told I wouldn't drive it unless I bought it first! "Company policy" on any high performance vehicles was his answer! After telling him about my online chat with his saleman and talking to Corey, and neither knowing about this policy, he decides that he will go on a test drive with me. But this is the first time he has done this. He tells Corey to go get the keys and a few minutes later Corey returns and says the car is under a recall from GM and cannot be driven. As a matter of fact, we could not test drive any of the camaros because of some recall. When asked about the recall, he said he would go find out. Comes back and tells me that don't have that specific info! What a bunch of BULL. The ZL1 i was looking at had 1916 miles on the sticker. No test drives huh. They thought they were going to strong arm me into signing a contrct on a car I haven't driven. I would never go back!!!!! Was even thinking about buying a car for the wife also. With a credit score of 865 and no dept, they will never get my service!! There are many other dealers out there BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Bought TWO brand new Buicks. 6 months after purchase we needed the paperwork for taxes - upon reading the docs thoroughly we discovered we were charged over $4000 per car in non essential fees ... "service and maintenance" was the listing. A MSN of $28k. was out the door at $34,7000!!!! Totally then advantage off. I don't know how these people sleep at night! Despicable.

My wife and I live in Port Orange, FL and had searched many of our local dealerships looking for the "right car". Everyone wanted to play the games and run us through the gauntlet but from the time we pulled in the parking lot of Carl Black the experience was the best ever. We are not new to the car buying experience and have owned quite a few vehicles so we are used to the typical way things happen. Immediately after arriving we were greeted by Gary Hull (Salesman). Gary was very genuine and immediately wanted to help us. Within 2 minutes of being at the dealership we were introduced to Lance Martin (Sales Manager) who welcomed us and asked us what we were looking for and what he could do to help. These guys worked quickly and without any games helped us locate the exact vehicle we were looking for. Knowing the time was coming where we would need to negotiate I was pleasantly surprised when Lance laid out the entire deal and explained everything to us. The whole process was very transparent and felt both natural and "easy". During the financing portion Travis Hanes (Finance Manager) made us feel very comfortable and laid out a ton of options for us. We never felt played or like we were getting taken and though our salesman Gary was a "salesman" he really took the time to get to know us and talk about us and didn't throw out the typical cheese the typical sales guy would. The experience was A++ and I would recommend them to anyone. I felt at home and like I was being treated with the utmost respect and care. I will be purchasing another vehicle in the near future and given the experience I had there is no question in my mind the first stop will be to this dealership and the team of professionals who made our experience second to none! Thank you Gary, Lance and Travis!

Made an appointment, arrived 30 minutes early but still waited 2 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. We walked around the lot and no one asked us if we needed help. What made it better is she is in the market for a new car. Not sure I'll be back, even though I live close and own a Chevy. They made it obvious they didn't want or appreciate our business.

Took forever to purchase this car, salesperson was upset that we went over after hours as he had a date. Finance man lost the down payment check I wrote and called me 1 month later every few hours until I called him back. Sent check the very next day and he still kept calling even though it arrived there the day after I sent it. He even stapled the check to the paperwork as he STATED he didn't want to lose it. Then he called back again 5 months later for something else he messed up, I felt I was being harassed.

During the last week of December 2012, since we were in need of another car, my wife and I, went out to look for different alternatives around the area. However we were not planning on buying any that day.Our first stop was Carl Black since it was the closest Chevy dealer around the area. Once we got out of our car, we told the sales person(Mr. Alex Oliveras) about our expectations regarding prices, down payments, loan interests and monthly payments. To our surprise, Alex was very polite and did not pressure the sale. He acted more like an information provider than a salesman. He was very detailed in terms of the 2012 and 2013 Chevy Cruze that were on sale. Also, Mr. Johntry was very helpful in terms of the financial process. We now own a very nice Chevy Cruze with a monthly payment that we can afford. We are very pleased with the Cruze, and the services we received from Carl Black and we definitely recommend Car Black.

I went in for a service on one of our 2 Sierra pickups. While waiting for it to be completed, Carson came up to me and very pleasantly asked If there was anything he could do for me. After some talk, he said that he would be able to get me into a new truck, lower the APR and lower the payment. I was thinking" sure you can." Well after setting me up with Bob (Yokes), it was a done deal. There was a little negotiation of course, but the pressure to do something was non-existant. I then asked about my wife's Sierra, and after more work on their part, we were set up to leave the lot with two new '12 Silverados. They were able to do what Carson had stated, which really surprised us to be honest. So after my wife got done with work, she came by and signed her portion of the paperwork, we drove home with smiles on our faces. This past week, we went back, believe it or not, and were able to get our daughter a '13 CRUZE. It took them a lot of work this time to get the deal that would work for us, but their persistance, made all of us happy. Everyone was always pleasant and asking what they could do for us, are you taken care of. A very clean and comfortable dealership and if you're in that market for a new vehicle, please go see them and ask for "Yokes." Both Scot and Kam in the finance office took the time and effort to explain our options and make us feel like we were family. Thier service department is staffed by caring and knowledgeable personnel and will do whatever they can to have you leave "Completely Satisfied." We have recommended them to a very close friend and she will be getting her first new vehicle on her own this week. A lot of employees that I don't know worked behind the scenes to make all of this happen and for them, our family is grateful.Thier advertisement of "The Red Carpet Treatment" is not a slogan, it's is thier way of doing business.

I was researching the Volt for a few months and was seriously considering purchasing one. By coincidence I went to the Oakland Heritage Festival where a Volt owner was representing Carl Black Chevrolet. He provided great insight from an owners perspective and I decided to visit the dealership that day. He mentioned I should work with Chris as he is also a Volt owner. Chris was a fountain of knowledge on the Volt. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood the vehicle, and some of its unique properties. After purchasing, Chris setup the vehicle to my liking, activated OnStar, paired my cell phone, and gave me his cell number to call for any questions.This was my first experience at an American car dealership. I previously have owned Japanese and German vehicles, but the technology of the Volt brought me in. I have heard a lot of negative things being said about American car dealers in the past, but my experience at Carl Black Chevrolet with Chris Crag has been second to none.

First of all, my salesman, Jim Darity, was able to entice me into the dealership by a simple phone call. He was professional and knowledgeable coupled with an easy manner and a good sense of humor. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted amiably by all, offered a beverage and treated to lunch and popcorn. I WENT TO CARL BLACK TO CONSIDER THE PURCHASE OF A NEW CAR AND COULD NOT BELIEVE THE EXCELLENT TREATMENT AND ATTENTION I WAS GIVEN. THE SPARK I HAD CONSIDERED WAS OUT OF STOCK, BUT AN EMPLOYEE WHO HAD JUST PURCHASED ONE OFFERED HIS PERSONAL CAR FOR ME TO INSPECT. I WAS AMAZED AT THE PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR AND VAST KNOWLEDGE SHARED BY ALL THE MANAGERS AND, OF COURSE, CHRIS CRAIG MY SALESPERSON. HE ALLOWED ME TO SHARE MY NEEDS AND THEN RECOMMENDED THE SONIC. AFTER A TEST DRIVE HE ASKED IF I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME NUMBERS. THERE WAS NO PRESSURE AT ALL. I WOULD HAVE LEFT IF I HAD FELT ANY STUPID OLD TIMEY BEHAVIOR, BUT EVERYONE WAS GREAT. THEY OFFERED ME A FAIR TRADE AND THEN NEGOTIATED AN EVEN HIGHER NUMBER FOR MY CAR. I HAD BEEN TO THREE OTHER DEALERS AND IF ANY OF THEM HAD SHOWN SUCH PROFESSIONALISM I WOULD HAVE NOT HAD TO SHOP AS FAR AWAY FROM HOME. I PURCHASED MY NEW CAR AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! I HOPE THIS LITTLE NOTE IS READ BY ANYONE LOOKING FOR A NEW CAR OR TRUCK BECAUSE IT SHOULD SAVE THEM TIME AND CREATE A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR THEM AS IT DID FOR ME. Good Customer service and helpful staff. Very determined to sell me the car and after a couple of hours i was content on the price. Overall good experience, however i wish they would include a couple of regular maintenance after you purchase your vehicle from the dealership... at least 1 or 2, especially on a leased vehicle. In the end it was a good experience and i am happy with my purchase.

I was truly blessed because I am a college student and working mother who was having several car issues with my previous car. Jim Darity and Carlson went far and beyond to get me in a new car and with affordable payments. They worked on this deal for me for two longs days, I waited patiently and had faith in both of them and when things looked grim for me they came through each time and seal the deal with the help of Eugene. This dealership is amazing, everyone was so helpful and showed excellent customer service skills in the work place.
