My experience started earlier in the week when I attempted to make an appointment. I was able to get to a receptionist who transferred me 2 times to the service center. No one answered. Later in the week, I came in to get an oil change and replacement of tire sensors. I asked for an estimate of the time it would take to complete this process. Employee said it would take 2 hours and I found myself waiting for 4 hours. If I would have known it would be taking 4 hours, I would have made other arrangements. When I finally noticed my car was ready from the window. I went to pay and I had to wait again. I am not sure why the reception area is not able to take payments anymore. When I finally got in my car the plastic and paper were left in the car. I think they should have been removed. I then recalled the previous time I took my car in and I found a vaping pipe in my car. I am not sure what has happened the service has declined.

I called Saturday to schedule an appointment for vibration on my 2019 Colorado. Since it's a leased vehicle, the GM dealer has always provided a loaner free of charge. In this case the woman that made the appointment mentioned that there was no loaners but I could check with the service advisor Tyler. I also wanted to make sure the repairs are covered as it's a leased vehicle. Again she deferred me to Tyler so I had to leave him a voicemail to which he never replied too. On Monday, I called about 1 hr prior to the appointment to clarify the loaner situation and a female in the service department confirmed that a loaner was ready for me. When I arrived, the man that checked me in said that repairs are not covered under a lease (this without checking on my lease which makes no sense) and that there is no loaner for me so I just took the truck back and left. My experience with your service department is my worse yet. I've been to your dealership before and have had a bad experience but figured I'd give you guys another try since you're the closest dealer to my home. Unfortunately, the lack of knowledge, care, and sense of professionalism has convinced me never to return to you folks and to never purchase a Chevy truck in the future. I'm in the market for another fleet truck for my business and am now convinced that Chevy is not the way to go...

One of the best car buying experiences ever. Jesus Martinez was amazing. I got a great price because Carr Chevrolet was one of only two dealerships from Seattle to Eugene that was not charging “market adjustments”. As in over MSRP in the 2021 vehicle shortage. Even the financing guy wasn’t bad😂. I can’t remember his name but he was great as well.

If I could I would rate this as less than 0. This place has the worst customer service and could care less about you or your time. Although our salesman was really wonderful the entire after sale care was crap. Spent 6000.00 additional dollars for extra protection and an extended warranty. Show up to drop my care off and the ego maniac Dalton treats me as I am a stupid woman. Involved his manager to explain things to me. He proceeds to tell me"lady I know you ( I haven't even been told his name)and when you spill your latte (I don't drink coffee) in your brand new car don't come running back to me. Strike 1. After 4 days of trying to get in touch with someone to cancel my warranty I speak to a finance manager. He tells me I need to talk to the owner. The next day the general manager Brad calls. We play phone tag for 2 weeks. Then my plates come. No stickers. DMV says plates don't exist. I need to go to the dealer. Yeah! Get to the dealer. Ask for Brad. He's in a meeting. It's 11am. A gentleman tells me that someone in titles will be with me in a minute. She has to finish an e mail. 40 minutes later. No title person. Nothing. Me my husband and a cubicle. I call Brad and leave him a voicemail ( he's still in a meeting). I let him know what's going on. About 20 minutes later someone comes by and lets me know someone is going to come a talk to us. Enters "The Scott". He tells us everything we want to hear. Promises us that he will call us back about the tags offers to be a middle man so I don't have to deal with the service department. Okay. He's trying to redeem the dealership. One more chance. Scott makes the appointment for Thursday morning at 830 and says he will see me then. I go there at 830 and Scott won't be there until 1. I text him and get 3 messages. Me: were you planning on meeting me at the dealership this morning? Him: 1. I was. 2. Am 3. Shoot. Tells me I can go to the service department myself and deal with them directly. Has the nerve to text me and asks what's wrong. Go into to cancel my warranty and he is so rude! You have no right to be rude to me! Don't buy anything from the horrible place! They are the worst! I wouldn't send my dog there to relieve himself on the grass! Horrible! -00000 stars.

In June of 2016 I co-signed with my step-son for the purchase of a used 4x4, which he purchased from Carr Chevy. The dealership offered him a THIRD of the actual trade-in value of his first truck. Needless to say, that vehicle is now for sale privately. While on the lot, I spotted a very nice used Mustang, which I decided to try to purchase. Again, I was offered 1/3 of the actual trade-in value of my current vehicle! But, that's not all. They suggested I make up the difference with a cash down payment of at least $10,000! They actually wanted me to pad their profit with TEN THOUSAND of my hard-earned dollars! Now, to be clear, my trade is a car I take to shows and cruise-ins. It is in pristine condition and I have meticulously maintained it and I have all of the service records from the day I purchased it brand new. If anything, it's worth more than the KBB average trade-in value, but I was willing to take the lower number from KBB. Their offer was one third of that plus three options of $10k, $11k or $12k in cash! These people are scam artists! Do NOT do business with them under any circumstances!

So my wife and I had a miserable experience at this dealership due to the underhanded dealings of the sales staff. We had initially worked on a deal with a pickup that didn't work out and we parted no problem. The salesman then contacted us about the possibility of making a deal and saying they could show more flexibility. We told them specifically what we could do in terms of our top deal and they said " That's perfect and we can make it work, come in. " They even went as far as recording the exact conversation in the computer as we could oversee the transcript. We got there and they made us wait for forty five minutes because the salesman that we were there to see was working a deal on the same truck we were there to buy. I don't know if that was true or not or sales tactics but it was a bad start to a supposed done deal. We waited for them to do all the paperwork again and for the salesman to try to get us into two different trucks that we were not there to look at, Then once they came out with my he numbers we were astonished to see the same numbers we were shown the first time we left. After and hour and a half of them slick talking, valuing their kbb vehicle 4000 above fair purchase price and my vehicle 3000 below trade in they finally gave me my keys back and allowed me to leave. The worst part is the the guy Monty played like he was our friend and going to help us out. He knew that my wife has homework due , we had a hungry seventh old baby, and we were making a two hour drive without eating dinner to do a deal on this truck that he told us would go through. Once we got there he tried to tell us we said different things, when clearly he didn't know we were reading the transcript of the conversation right on his screen. I just hope others don't have to experience this car dealer game. The thing I didn't tell them is that I buy cars at auction for car lots for the past three years and I know the price margins they are subjecting people are outrageous. I would sell my car private party if I wasn't so scared of having it break on someone

I was very impressed that I was able to get my car in very quickly for the work that was needed. I also was was impressed that I was able to get a loaner car for it being the first time that I had been to this dealership. The quality of work that had been done to my car was great, the mechanic had taken the extra time to go over the whole car and found issues that I was unaware of and had them repaired while the car was there.

Came in to have an axle seal replaced. They let me know that I had a leaking transmission line as well, which I had them replace. I appreciate that they let me know about a potential problem. I like this dealership. Their back shop is spotless and the service advisors are highly professional. They let me know how long the repairs would take and offered their shuttle to take me home and pick me up afterwards. Excellent coffee in their waiting area too! I have been going here for a number of years and they have always treated me like a valued customer.

I brought my Chevy Captiva in for the Fall/Winter special and waited for the work to be done. The waiting room chairs were so comfortable, I took a nap, and before long my service advisor was sayng " I hate to wake him up!", But he did, to tell me that my vehicle was ready to go.I knew I needed new windshield wipers, which was part of the service checkpoints, and they were replaced. I was and out in just over two hours, which,included an oil change and safety checks.

I always have great service at Carr Chevrolet. My recent experience was no different. My Equinox developed a small leak in the transmission and I brought it in to be looked at. I thought it was an oil leak, but it turned out to be a bit more serious. A day later, once the parts were made available, I was back on the road with no more worries. I was fully informed throughout the process. This is our 2nd vehicle purchased from Carr, and we will definitely be buying or leasing from them in the future.

Rick over here at Carr told me that the car I was buying had just been detailed even though there was ash from a cigarette in it. This should have been where I got in my car and left stopping them at their first lie. How do I know they lied you may ask? I found a rental agreement in the car with all the customers info on it including license address. It is no surprise that these people are more worried about a paycheck than return customers as they say. He also lied to me about the deal saying that it does not matter if I wait for my credit score to go up or not I am still going ot have high interest. It seemed like he had a good story for everything I said and he has all kinds of stories of his own. He told me he works alone but had just a hired a guy to help him. After the very rude finance company called with their "welcome call" Rick suddenly had Linda calling me to make sure I took the call Who the heck is Linda? Hope Linda and Rick get no more sales.I wish I had waited another month and not gone ahead with this deal. Please do not see Rick Totten for any kind of financing even if you are in bankruptcy and desperate. That is when they stick their claws in and really sock it to you. Believe me I know Carr Chevy did the same thing to me in 2005 I should've known better but that Rick is a smooth talker do not fall for it like I did. Good luck to you and shame on CARR!

I've had a Chevy Suburban for 5 years (purchased new) and I've always taken it to Carr for service because they provide excellent customer service. They are very friendly, explain things thoroughly and in layman's terms, and are honest. I never feel like I'm walking out of there with a laundry list of things that 'should' be done, only to find out that they really don't 'need' to be done -- this is an experience I've had with other shops with my other cars. The service is always consistent. They people who work there are always the same -- always familiar faces, which speaks volumes about how they treat their employees. I know what I'm going to get every time, which makes it comfortable to do business with them.

This is our second vehicle we have purchased from this dealer and was a smooth transaction like the first one. Just know the process takes the finance department time and you will be there a couple hours for the whole process.

I would give them minus 100 if I could. Never felt filthier after dealing with their sales and Nick Shabnel in particular. Their so-called "on salary" "sales managers" are paid just enough to play "caring" game with you and proxy managers' lies.I was sold "new" car and was presenter with stickers, manufacturer invoice with rebate, etc. Price was good for the "new" car ( $4500 down from sticker) and it was presented as stuck on the lot and used for test drives. In fact the car was "used", as far as title concerned (the last page for me to sign was the title transfer and had that check placed on the word "used", not in the box, leaving both boxes "used" and "new" empty" to deceive me), had 2000 miles on it and only one key. As I learned this week - month after purchase, they do not even have its title as previous lean holder did not release it. I.e. they sold me the car, they did not own!!!With this said - I am happy with the car. But I am completely disgusted dealing with this dealership

I have never been treated so terrible. We were about to sign on the dotted line and someone came in under our nose and wrote a check for the same vehicle and they gave it to that person. We had to take our car back a second time in order to get it fixed right. I think maybe they listened to my husband but not to me, as much. I brought my car in when the steering wheel all of a sudden became harder to turn. Fernando, the service advisor, told me it was dangerous to be driving the car. He told me to leave the car there and he would deal with my extended warranty company and take care of fixing the car. He also gave me a (very nice) rental for the week while my car was being worked on. As promised, Fernando worked everything out with my warranty company and I ended up paying my deductible plus the cost of the fluids used. It was a wonderful experience!

My check engine light came on. The engine had basically been rebuilt a week or so earlier for the excess oil use warranty repair. I was worried that something had gone wrong with that repair. When I talked to the service rep. he immediately had me pull into the service bay so he could read the diagnostic code on what the problem might be. The code indicated something abut CAM misalignment. Then a mechanic got the car and starting checking. The service rep said it would be a few hours to determine what was wrong. After a few minutes, the service rep came into the waiting room and said he knew what was wrong. One of the solenoids that read the cam alignment to adjust the timing for the correct engine speed was defective. We discussed the repair and decided to change both of them. He offered a discount on the labor cost, as they had just had the engine all apart for the warranty repair. I asked how long that job might take and he estimated 2 hours. I decided to wait. In 1.5 hours, the service rep. came in to tell me it was all ready to go. Total time to get the job done from pulling in to pulling out was about 2 hours. As I am getting ready to put some trip miles on the car, I was happy the check engine light came on when it did and not on my trip. On the engine repair job, I had just stopped by on a Thursday for an estimate on a set of new tires. The service rep went with me to get the car out of the parking lot and when we got back to the service bay, he indicated he did not like the way the engine sounded as it seemed to be having a rattle. He checked the oil. It was very low. We discussed running an excess oil use test, but after some further discussion of the problem it was decided that the warranty service repair was in order. I left the car with them and Saturday I got the car back with a new set of tires and alignment and the warranty repair (looked like a engine overhaul from the parts list on the repair sheet) done. The engine did sound a lot quieter. I was very happy to have it all taken care of so quickly.

My overall experience with this repair was quite good and the price of the repair was by far the best I could find. I had originally taken the truck in for a diagnosis because it was smoking. The technician replaced a couple of glow plugs and said the truck was fine. It still smoked. I was out of town for 6 months and when I returned I took it in to another dealer who diagnosed faulty fuel injectors which I suspected. Since replacing injectors is an expensive job I checked around for prices. Carr Chevrolet was by far the cheapest. So it cost me $207 for 2 diagnosis. I should have just gone in an told them the truck is smoking and I want it fixed. It would have saved me $207.

I needed the service department to look under my car to see how much damage was done to the fuel tank strap after I ran over something in the road that I unfortunately didn't see until I hit it. Whatever I hit was high enough to bend the strap. They were able to see what needed to be done to resolve the issue temporarily and I was able to get the car back in the same day. The part was ordered and it was safe to drive the car until the part comes in.I also experienced wonderful customer service. I got to the shop before it opened since I work earlier hours. The shuttle service usually doesn't start until 7:15 a.m., but I needed get back to my job before that time. So the driver asked the manager if it would be ok to take me to my job right away. The manager said absolutely! I was back at work quickly. Thanks for being so flexible.

My 2013 Corvette had been in storage for several months while we were away. Upon returning I took the vehicle off it's jack stands and started the engine. Immediately I noticed two warning messages on the instrument panel and a misfiring sound from under the hood. Fernando Jacobo, my service adviser, was very informative and helpful in explaining what I needed, and did not need, to have serviced while my vehicle was in for a routine maintenance.The only problem I had was when I called originally to schedule my appointment. I called directly to my previous service adviser, Mr. Karcher. I had his business card from previous appointments and when I called I was greeted with a recording that he was either on another call or with a client, so I left a message asking him to call me to set up an appointment. After about two hours and I had not received a call back I called the service department directly and was told that Mr. Karcher had not come in that day. Subsequently I found out that he was no longer employed here but otherwise someone should have been monitoring his telephone line so not to lose business.

We did not expect the problem with our 2006 Silverado to be a big one, but it was! Assistant Service manager, Jamie Roark, explained the problem completely and said the repair would take 3 to 4 hours. We had to pick up some large items across town and figured we's have to rent something or wait till the repair was done making us very late getting home (1 1/2 hour drive). Jamie arranged a loaner for us so we were able to get our errands done while they worked on the truck. The repairs were done when promised and we were on our way home! We so appreciate Jamie's competent handling of our repair and our needs.

Our service guy is awesome, he is very thorough,explains things well, and seems to go the extra mile of actually taking part in getting my vehicle fixed. Carr has been easy to work with this far, and as far as I can tell have been honest with my repairs. The only thing that I have a big problem with is the bill I get. I am all for those guys making money, but wow! I am shocked every time I look over the labor billing.

When I told him I was going to record the conversation he started to try and legally cover his bases which he failed miserably at. This is the worst new car dealership there is.All new vehicles are marked up way over sticker price.The dealership puts two prices on every vehicle.There is a little slip put on every car with the real marked up price, which is not the total price on the sticker.The salesman was very dishonest.I was sold a damaged, defective vehicle.My new Chevy has stalled 12 times.Onstar says they have no record of it and the computer does not detect it.It is just another excuse to avoid warranty service and fault the driver.When it stalled at 55 mph on hwy 217, it is nothing short of a miracle that I was not killed.I will not service my car there.It was damaged during service.I had to threaten to call the police to get it fixed.A complaint was filed with the state of Oregon for price switching and deceptive business practice.I will never buy another Chevy again.

I did a lot of research online before going to buy my car. I decided on one that met all my criteria and went to test drive it. The front office staff was friendly and helpful, someone came out with a clip board and asked how she could help me today, was I there for parts or service. When I said I was interested in looking at a car she found a salesman to help me. Each time I visited after that the front desk receptionist was friendly and promptly called for the person I was there to see. The salesman I worked with was knowledgeable and I felt took the time with me without being pushy. He followed up with a phone call, but again was not pushy. We returned for a second test drive and Leo was glad to see us again and answered all my husbands questions. There was no haggling over the price, we bought the car for the price advertised online. We then worked with Rick for our financing. Rick listened to what we wanted and found financing that met our criteria. When we were test driving the car there was an hiccup with one of the locks, and upon delivery of the vehicle I found the lock was not working at all. Even though it was a week later, I called Rick, he said he remembered that it was not working correctly when he was showing us the car and he would take care of it for us. I appreciated that probably more than anything. I found Rick and Leo very honest to work with and not your typical, pushy "car salesman" type. I am extremely happy with my experience at Carr and I would buy another car from them in the future.

My review isn't as much about the dealership as it is about the salesman that we had contact with. Over all I find the Dealership to be very good.To start with (( Adam Mlady )) at first contact was very nice. Now my wife and I had came to the dealership that day to look at a 2007 Chevy truck 2500HD with a Diesel engine and Canopy.Well then Mr. Mlady launches into himself, and believe me Mlady is all about himself. We had to listen to how great of a salesman he was and about winning his Chevrolet ring, the ring. If you ever have contact with this guy watch out for the ring, he likes to talk about it and how great he is.Now to get back to why we came there in the first place, we wanted to look at this truck. I called and was told that it was at the main store, we live in NE Portland by Hwy 205 and had to drive out to Beverton to see the truck. Well when we ask about the truck, the one I called about! Well it seems it's sold!At least that's what he told us, sure enough it's not on the lot. So while Mlady talks about himself, we drive around the lot looking for a used truck that will fit the bill, sure enough nothing was there.But their were plenty of 2012 and 2013 New trucks on the lot, now we tell Mlady that we can't afford a new truck. And besides (we have Financing in place) to buy a used truck at around $31000. to $36000. But Mlady tells us that he can make anything happen, and he can get us anything we want. We tell him how much money we have to spend, and we also tell him that we (( DON'T WANT HIM TO RUN OUR CREDIT )) he doesn't need to because we have it in place already!Well we couldn't make a sale that night and went home without the truck we wanted, but I happen to call the Carr used car lot the next day. And I asked about trucks, and guess what? They have the truck I was looking for on there lot, it wasn't sold after all! Mlady lied to us!!! So I told Andy Summers that I would be right over to see the truck, when we get there it seems that another saleswoman came over and got the truck. The one we wanted to buy, we all jump in a car and head to the main store, and by the time we get there it's already sold.Well to make a long story short, we did get a truck. An 2007 Dodge SLT BigHorn 3500 Diesel. The used store has really gone out of there way to work with me, they put my tires off my trade on the truck I bought. And are installing Heated Leather seats also. I can't say enough how great these guys at the Carr Used car store have been to us!!!

CARR Chevy always goes out of their way to help! Adam extended his hand to help us get our Malibu serviced when he sold it to us. He programed his cel number in the steering wheel so that if we needed him, he said just push the button and say "Call Adam." He then set the apt up and then even got us lined up with a rental while it was getting done. The service was taken care of, we got the windows tinted, and I got my car back with a smiling face waiting for me from Adam when I went to go pick it up! I stopped here this last weekend to look at the new Traverse. After doing my own research I thought this was the perfect vehicle that would fit my lifestyle but after visiting for awhile with the sales consultant we figured out that the Suburban would fit me and my family better than the Traverse would. Jesus Martinez did an excellent job of showing me how to operate my 2013 Chevy Malibu LTZ which has a boat load of bells and whistles to learn and operate. I was amazed at his level of knowledge and ease of delivery in explaining the operations of the electronics and how to add additional items such as Pandora and other programs. He also Programed my car for OnStar and cell phone quickly and effectively. He has followed up timely. When I bought the car I left my dog restraints in my trade-in. He saw to it that I got them back the very next day. So fare the Malibu has been a lot of fun to drive and has performed as advertised

I have bought 4 cars in the past from Carr and thought I would look there again. I was not sure exactly what car I was looking for but ended up looking at an Impala and Malibu. When we arrived on the lot Dorie met us and was very polite and friendly. She informed us about the Impala and allowed us to take a test drive. We then got back and found a Malibu Hybrid and test drove that. We really liked to Malibu and never felt pressured by Dorie to buy. Dorie was very professional, knowlegeable, comfortable to talk to and honest with us. We didn't end up buying the Malibu but if I was to go back to Carr I would ask for Dorie to help us again. Thank you Dorie for making our shopping experience fun and filled with some laughs.

I shopped via Internet several dealers in the Portland area for selection and best price on a new Chevrolet Volt. They lied to me three times about having the car I was looking for to drag me around a couple of their car lots, and then they pressured me and deliberately wasted my time attempting to sell cars that I had no interest in. They were unhelpful and it was overwhelmingly a bad experience. I will never go to this dealership again.

We just purchased our third car from Carr Chevy--one was a used Nissan Rogue, a Chevy 2500 truck and yesterday, a new Volt. There's a lot of technology behind the Volt and we were pleased at how knowledgeable the staff (particularly) Adam Mlady was about the car. No one pushes--we test drove three different models and Adam encouraged us to make our decision based on our lifestyle and goals. While we haven't taken the Volt in for service, we have used their service group to take care of our truck and we've found them to be helpful and on time. We will continue to use Carr for future purchases and we highly recommend to friends and family.

I went by the chev dealer for a cup of coffee and a biscuit as they had their 100 year celebration. Sure enough there where a lot of cars of old and new on display. The Sonic caught my eye and I sat in one. A salesman approached and I made the mistake by saying this is what I wanted. We looked at my present car. Next minute I was asked for my car keys for the car to be test driven. That was the last time I ever saw my car. After signing several papers I was told that the trade in value was $ 2300,00 and this was exactly the car that the dealer wanted and I should not worry. I was then taken all around to see several more people and had to sign more and more papers, all for good reasons I thought. I am a foreign citizen and over 79 years old. The more I asked about my car I was told not to worry that everything was alright. I have bought new cars in Germany, South Africa but was never ever treated like this. I was worked on with unrelenting pressure and by the time I realized what was happening it was to late. I had no more energy to fight back. When I asked what type of Sonic I was getting I was told that I was getting the car I test drove and the car I wanted. At no stage and no where in all paperwork is there a mention that I was getting the Sonic LS which was advertised for around $ 14 000,00. Finally I was asked to sign the contract and I nearly fainted , they had the audacity to ask me yo pay $19 000,00 for a car with a MSRP of $ 14 000,00 . When I refused to sign and asked for the deal to be annulled the sales manager gave me some legal term which frightened me and I finally signed for $ 17 000,00. Which I feel is still $3000,00 to much and surely above the advertised Price. So NEVER EVER WILL I BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THIS DEALER IN BEAVERTON

I went to look for a used dodge caravan, they had one in stock but not with the features i wanted, the salesman never listened to anything i wanted in the van, didnt answer my questions directly, tried to sell me something i didnt want, dumped me off to the used car sales manager when he figured it out i wasnt going to buy right then. the sales manager tried to sell me something i didnt want either, didnt listen to the kind of vehicle i was looking for, and that was after spending 30-45 mins running from lot to lot with them to find the right vehicle.

I took my 78 year old mother car shopping Saturday. I drove the 60+ miles to this dealer to see a specific used car I saw online in their inventory. When I called to verify they still had it the salesman was very thorough & asked to call me back as he wanted to go physically check before telling me yes. I appreciated that & agreed. When he called me back I inquired about other models they might have to see if I could narrow the places i needed to go. I explained to the him on the phone that we were simply looking for wich car she was interested in, not buying today. He continuely repeated that, "I need to understand that he doesn't care when we buy the car. They are salaried sales people & are only there to answer your questions & help you find the right car for you." This is not true at all! They are sneaky, underhanded game players & they work as a team to ensure they win. We were wanting to look at a KIA Optima that day too & he told me he had 2 in stock on other lots they own. When we arrived he quickly ushered us to the car I called about & then took us to lot after lot to look for other cars. There were no KIA's on any of the lots. He did not explain to us this is what his intentions were before we left to drive the 1st car so neither my mom or I had any of our personal belongings with us. In the last 1 1/2 hours of this painstaking game of his I repeatedly told him we needed to return to OUR vehicle so I could get my wallet to buy some lunch. My mom repeatedly told him she was thirsty and I finally asked him to please go inside one of the many dealerships we visited & get her some water. He eventually got her 1 bottle of water (BTW - it was extremely hot this day) but couldn't spare two so I could also have a drink. After spending most of the afternoon giving this salesman chance after chance to show us cars we were not interested in he finally returned us to the original location (where I had to pay for 2 bottles of water). Although my mom barely walks & can only do that with her cane and the whole point was finding her a car she could be comfortable in due to her inmobility issues he continued to tell her to "come on let's go" as he stopped at each lot and had her walk the entire inventory with him. I fianlly had to get abrupt with him to take us back. Upon our return he led us through the service dept. , parts dept., trophy case, etc. still ignoring my pleas to get my mother some lunch quickly (she's diabetic & her blood sugars were starting to make her feel dizzy & sick)and finally the showroom. My mother saw a 2011 Chevrolet Cruz LTZ on the showroom floor that caught her eye. James started immediatly pushing this car & i told him we would go eat & return for a test drive. He then asked my mom if he could join us becasue he was starving too. He would have us drive one of these cars she liked to the restaraunt for the test drive. (It wasn't even the same car - different engine, different package, different style - no comparison). She agreed he could join us & when the check came he sat back and let her pick up the bill for the entire meal! When we returned, his partner was waiting for the biggest set-up I've ever experienced. Too bad I didn't notice it until it was over. We were tired, my mother wasn't feeling well & they preyed on us. They had her right where they wanted her. They double teamed her and before you could blink an eye they arranged a deal for a car she hadn't even driven & it WAS NOT what she agreed to in the end. James & Hansen told her if she didn't buy by the end of the weekend she couldn't get the Metlife insurance they were offering becasue it expired Sunday, this is what prompted her to go ahead that night. They lied! I found on their website the next day that that promo still had over a week. They said they'd sell her all weather mats at their cost. I called parts Monday, never mentioning the at cost deal, and asked how much the mats were. Parts guy said they were in stock and cost $99. Next day James calls my mom at home to tell her he checked on those mats for her and ordered them at his cost for $94.99 (oh please!). She repeatedly told the finance man, Damien, during signing that she wasn't feeling well & did not want to proceed that night. He just pushed a little harder and kept telling her, "we're almost done." When he asked if she wanted all the extra stuff (GAP, Extended warranty, etc.) & she replied NO he said well here,"I can save you some money" & started playing with the paperwork bringing her interest rate to a point she didn't notice the over $3K in additional services he'd added to the contract. She has a credit score of 793 & they had originally given her an almost 5% rate w/o her knowledge. But that gave Damien the room he needed to drop the rate & do some creative accounting when she denied the extras. I know, my fault for not looking at the contract before she signed. Bottom line, I made a huge mistake allowing this deal to take place in my mother's condition and I will always regret trusting James Willaims with my mother's best interest. Everyone should know; in the end they sold my mom a 2011 Chevy Cruz LTZ for $28,300 (real market value of $24285 at the highest I could find with all other dealers asking $25K, give or take an option or two, for the exact same car). After all the sneaky stuff they added in she wound up financing over $32K with them for a Cruz! James was quick to let me know that it's not true you can return a new car purchase within 3 days though. They took advantage of an elderly woman waiting until she felt sick enough to be vulnerable. I should never have shared her medical condition with them. I'm sure they got a great laugh out of it when their tactics worked. When i called James & explained to him all the lies I know he told he kept telling me it wasn't his fault 'they' (meaning the dealership)just extended the insurance promo (BS - it's a Chevy promo, not a CARR promo & it's original date was until the 6th of Sept.) & 'they' told him that was his cost for those mats & 'they' always sell that car for that price. Well I can say with confidance 'they' are all snakes at CARR Chevy World in Beaverton & 'they' do not care about the customer at all. 'They' only care about selling the car at the highest possible price whether it's worth that much or not.'They' lie, cheat & will even have you buy them dinner pretending to be your friend to get what 'they' want.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I went in to buy a new car after an auto accident, immeadiatly i told them what i wanted to spend. then they completly ignored me. I first had a 2011 cruze. Nice car yes if the dealership had done its homework. I had to bring the car back after the finacning fell through, "their story" I have a hard time believing any dealershiop Also this dealership likes to do the "yo yo scam" deal. so they left me without a car forcing me to buy from them after the bank supposedly "dropped the financing" i got forced into a car i really didnt care for. and then when i tried to talk about switching they lied to me. saying we had a "legal contract" nothing legal about it. I was told that my new used car "the only one they showed me when i had to go to work that night" needed an additional 800 dollar down payment so i could keep gap insurance on it. Well either way now they rewrite the contract with or without it. So i simply refused to sign. They also let me drive off the lot knowing i wasnt financed yet. Carr auto will constantly screw around with paperwork. asking you to come in and sign another contract, and will hastle you the entire way. when i tried to go to the GM Brad, he told me no problem and that he'd go get his salesmen. Instead he brought out his henchmen Damian who was extremly rude, and i never heard from the GM again. Carr auto is not honest to their customers, nor are they actually as polite and understanding as they should be. If they believe they will get a sale, they will lie to you, try scare tactics, and will call you everyday until the deal is settled. If you do have the unfortunate experience of having to do business with this dealership, do your best not to go through the financing with a man named "Damian" The man is a crook. I hope that many people looking to buy from carr auto look at this review before doing business there because i sure wish i had never gone to them in the first place.

I'll list the bad things:1. overpriced used vehicle2. WAY under bid our trade-in3. LIED about having someone else interested in the same car at the same time as us.4. IGNORED our repeated comments that we'd be going to OUR bank instead of financing through them.5. RAN OUR CREDIT w/out asking! AHHHHHHH6. Compared our trade-in (wholesale value) with their RETAIL value...um, that's like apples and oranges....not even playing field.7. Wouldn't give us the carfax for over 3 hours after we requested it multiple times.8. Pretended to be honest and upfront, and we were honest and upfront on how much we would spend. They changed their story at the end.Do your homework on the price of a used car, and the price of your trade-in. I think they expect their customers to be extremely stupid. We walked out, didn't spend 1 dime, and will NEVER reccommend this dealership to anyone for any reason. We waited a couple weeks, found a great deal at another dealership, were offered over $2,000 more for our trade-in, and had a great experience. (This was all at Beaverton Nissan.) Soooo, it IS possible to be a dealer with good customer service. Carr Chevy world is not that dealership. They are the worst dealership ever. Oh, and they will attempt to woo you with them saying they are one of the "best companies in Oregon to work for." Blah.

Herb took the time to go through the vehicle upon delivery and helped set up OnStar. Dupre got me though financing quickly and on the road. Would go back in a minute to purchase another car from them or have service done. Mike and Dave in the service department have been great to work with. We have had wonderful experience each and every time we have purchased cars from CARR Chevy. We have been buying from them for 11 years now. We have purchased brand new to used. We most recently purchased an 07 Denali. We parked the Denali one evening for a few minutes and upon return the car would not start. We tried to jump start it and nothing. We had the Denali towed to CARR CHEVY and after running test they found that the battery was defective. They replaced it with a higher quality battery and paid for the towing!!! They did not have to do any of that since the Denali was purchased 'as is'. We have always felt very respected and treated well by each of the employees. We will continue to only purchase cars from CARR chevy and will recommend everyone to CARR. WE LOVE CARR CHEVY!!!The Gomez Family

I am going to condense two experiences with them into 1 review since they are both equally poor. 1st was an attempt to trade in a vehicle worth double the car I wanted. The sales guy tried to get me to finance their 15,000 on top of my 26,000 value trade in. Very insulting. A clear intention of trying to just plain rip me off. So as I laughed and got up to leave someone that was going to now apparently take me seriously stepped in and basically tried to play the same game. Steal $10,000 from me.2nd experience. I went to buy an SS camaro, cash. Of course the process went very smoothly. However when about 1000 miles went by the clutch started making aweful noises. I took it in and they basically played it off as no big deal and might be able to eventually get to it. Finally got my repair done. No sympathy or anything from having a somewhat major problem with my brand new car after only 1000 miles.On a side note. The sales people I have dealt with race, and I mean RACE these cars around. He was driving the camaro first and he turned left on to murray off of millikan sideways to show me he could get the spedometer to 100 while spinning the tires (sideways).

I had purchased my truck through Carr Chevrolet about a year ago, had a great experience so I recommended my friend there about 3 or 4 weeks ago & he purchased a new 2010 Camaro SS (about a $45,000 purchase), cause they told me that if I recommended people & they bought a car they would give me a check. I brought my friend he purchased the car & told them I recommended them & they told me they would send me a check & they haven't even bothered to send me a thank you note or nothing let along the check they promised, unlike Landmark Ford where I got my car I have taken several friends into that dealership & they give me $200 on the spot every time.

What has happened with this dealership? We bought a new vehicle from them about a month ago. We had to fill out the paper work multiple times. They kept playing with numbers to get what they wanted because they didn't do it correctly the first time. We got a call saying we needed to give them more money then a call saying no we owe you money. After they changed the deal they didn't ask us to come in to get the 'etching' service they charged us for. We had to make an appointment. We called asking about some extra tax they had and they said don't worry about it, we take care of it... well I have the right to worry about it I AM PAYING for it, this snotty woman you have making out the checks needs a serious attitude adjustment. We went back to them because we had a great experience years before, yes we understand thing change but it you can't make the money off the car you seem so desperate to sell don't sell it and don't try to force someone into some vehicle they don't want. We came to you because you had treated us right in the past and wanted to work with you. Now all you seem to care about is the sale and not the customer.I am really disappointed with this dealership. You really need to work on your customer service. You have lost a repeat customer for life!

well these guys do not stand behind their word. i got home in my 02 mitsubishi eclipse gt and the check engine light came on, then the surpintine belt started to make noise, the am/fm stereo didnt work, front right strut made an awfull noise, and the antifreeze was not full. I then asked if they could fix the major things and they said "as is" they fixed a egr valve and that was it. oh and my full tank of gas that i dropped it off with was almost on empty (fishy huh). they said if i had any problems with the car to bring it back we will take good care of you. oh and good luck getting ahold of anyone after you buy its like a ghost town. you would think after spending almost $14,000 this would not happen dont go to CARR CHEVY OR ANY CARR DEALERSHIPS

This dealership signed a contract with a U.S. soldier, and after the soldier left to training they went to his home, where his wife, and newborn son lives and took the truck back, with no fault of the soldier. The soldier did all of the right things, and the only thing the dealership could say was that they couldnt make the deal work after signing a contract. I wonder what they would do if i took the truck back in and told them that it i didnt want it anymore? I dont think that would work, but if the dealership wants to do it its perfectly ok.... And when i got my vehicle back that i traded in it had problems that the vehicle never had before leaving my residence. Something with the electrical got fried, like they probed the vehicle with one of those code readers or something, and "body damage" that was not there before the deal. This is by far the worst experience i have ever had with a dealership, they are absolutly horrible. There is a lot more to this story and how they really dropped the ball.

We bought a Silverado on June 16, it was sent to detailing and to fill the gas tank. When the car was delivered to us prior to leaving no check list was gone over, we'd never purchased a New Car and didn't realize this fauxpaux. When we got the car home we noticed a dent in the fender. WE Immediately took pictures and called Carr Chevy and advised the dealer. They told us to come in the following wk (why not right away?) We went to the dealer and they promised to make an appointment with the Auto Body, they never did. We took time off work to go to the dealer, they told us to bring it to the auto body the following wk. We did this on Monday 7/9, for an ESTIMATE (WHAT?). We were promised a call back that day, by the Auto body shop and the Salesman. Nobody called so we called them, and left several messages that were unanswered and unreturned. They've cashed our check so Obviously they do not care that we rec'd a damaged car !!!

Provided us false information concerning other dealers inventories. In doing so mislead us to purchase a new auto from their stock that we didnt really want. We believed them when they told us that the model we were interested in was not available within a thousand miles. We later checked the other inventories ourselves, and found four of the right models in the metro area alone. Carr refused all opportunities to make the situation right. Well NEVER go back to Carr Auto Group, and will continue to inform others how they do business.

I can't remember her last name... But the woman Pat in the service department made me feel quite unwelcome. When I arrived at the service department it must have been lunchtime because there was hardly a soul to be found. I finally tracked down Pat and told her I just wanted my oil changed and she made me feel like that wasn't her department or area so I would just have to wait to get some help. She made a poor excuse of an attempt to actually get me some service since I guess my little oil change was of no bother to her. After a few minutes she went wandering off as well and I ended up asking a young man walking through the service area if he could find me help and he actually did! I have been a loyal Chevrolet owner for over 40 years, and have always gotten all required maintenance at a Chevrolet dealership, but I guess in this day and age loyalty isn't worth a dime anymore. I think I will have to seriously think hard before taking my vehicle into Carr Chevy again. Maybe I should just start taking my car to those Jiffy Lube or Meineke places and save myself the high price of getting my vehicle serviced through a dealership who doesn't have the time to bother with me or servicing my car. I give Carr Chevrolet and that Pat woman in service a big F in my book.

I just had the most awesome buying experience. Ok, so I didn't buy the car but I took up a lot of this guys time. I told the guy that I was looking to buy a nice family car. I have a baby on the way and want something that would be good for another child or two. He suggested the Equinox with leather seats for formula and food mis-haps. Who'd of thought? So we took a test drive. I love this car. He was very thuro at what my needs were and put me behind the wheel of a car that fits us to a T. I have some personal issues to work out and will be back to see him to buy this car before the baby comes. This guy was hassle free, no presure and a great people person. I told him I wasn't buying today, he was understandable and told me to just come see him when I got things square. This guy said he was new, but he was great. Tranny stuck in park three times, had to be jerks out by other makes. Chevy said it was fine. Tranny would not shift from 2-3 or 3-4 at times.Under full thrttle body acceleration, it would hang in third and not shift to fourth, rev limiting to the max.Heated seats come on by themselves intermittently. Carr replaced some harness, but Chevy told them to replace another, which they never have, Power seats have a mind of their own as well. Have them shut off, but they still move without intervention. Brakes are REAL mushy when I first start driving the car in the morning. Repeated pumping still does not relieve this prolem. When driving at freeway speed, and have to apply brakes hard and fast, they fade real bad, and barely work.<br><br>HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
