I work for a used car dealership and we often buy/sell at local auctions. The 1st time there I was surprised to see just how big the place was..so many cars! I also had to go inside to pick up checks after selling vehicles there, drop off money for buying from them and also some title work that is all part of my job..each person I’ve encountered has been friendly & professional from the security guard as I entered the business to the women/men working in the different departments I’ve had to go to..so even tho there are auctions closer to us, it’s worth the extra time to go to them.

BEWARE OF THE SECRET LEMONS. They got OVER ON me. Smh. I purchased a vehicle when we looked at it turned it on didn't have any engine light on. As soon as I paid and moved the vehicle check engine light came on for timing chain. Clearly they cleared the codes for a high purchase price. I am a single mother who is not working at the moment and needed a car ASAP. Ck engine or timing needed was not mentioned in the auction. Now I'm in a very messed up situations. Beware. Bring a engine scanner to check any car you are interested in. Try to move it back n fourth at least a mile. To see if any lights come on. I hope they are proud of their scamming. Ow yes and the photos they upload are only good ones none showing the dirtiness or missing parts. Would not recommend coming here and especially do not bid online unless you are prepared to spend more money on maintenance asap

I've been going there for over 20 yrs and it use to be a fair value market auction! But now and I truly dont meen to be negative but the prices that those cars are be auctioned for are absolutely ridiculous. I was googling the car prices as they were being sold and I was blown away how bad it was. And for the record depending on the year everything ain't high way miles if it's high someone could have be doing uber or something. Just saying

I've been buying cars from carriage trade over 3 years now...it's a fun place to go and also a good place to buy a vehicle if you wanna get a good deal...but as a buyer it's your reponsability and a MUST to come early at auction day and do your homework and check out all vehicles that you are interested in..I always come 4 hours before action starts that gives me enough time to identified problems in any vehicles iam interested in so I won't make a mistake and can be happy with my buy...I will continue to do bussiness here as always...

Bought a car a week before. Decided to get my son a car... We won the car and 10 miles down the road the motor blew. The auction is a place where people come to sell cars with blown head gaskets a nd problematic cars they didn't want to sell on their lot
No longer a fan

I "USED" to be a fan of this place but after my last experience I have changed my mind. I have been a customer here from out of state for years as well as my family which has come as far away as California to buy cars here. My family and friends including myself have bought several cars here and I used to tell everyone looking for a car about this place. My last visit however changed my opinion. We were looking for a car for our son to take to college. This was his first visit and experience and during the auction he bid on a car and didn't realize he was highest bidder because he didn't hear them call out his number. After a little while we found a car he liked and he won the auction. We immediately went to the window to pay (which we would have done the first time had we realized he was top bidder) and they told us we had two cars and sent us inside to a supervisor. He was immediately rude and short with us and I was trying to explain that I didn't know what the other car was and he would even let us see the information about the other car and just kept rudely telling us we had to buy both cars and as I "tried" to explain what may have happened and that I may not have enough cash for both cars and without even trying to work anything out with us or listen they immediately kicked us out. I know the rules but I have seen people in that place that bid on the wrong cars and make mistakes and they worked with them and didn't act rudely and kick them out. This was an honest oversight and instead of trying to work with us and keep business and make a sale, they were rude and kicked us out. I was appalled after my family and I have been doing business there for years and highly recommending this place to people. They would rather lose a sale than practice good customer service. We always use to speak very highly of them but after the way we were treated, my family and I no longer feel the same.

This "dealer" "auction house" "broker" are a joke to deal with. Worst than a Casino fees pop out of the air. It seems everyone ones a cut. But the worst part is that the car aren't even as good as they dream they are. Don't waste your time.
