ABSOLUTELY great dealership. I believed his name was Shermick (car salesman) assisted me in my search for a new/used car. He was alert and very intellectual...you can tell he loves his job and takes it very serious. Hard worker i see,.....even tho i didnt have the budget for buying but when I come back in a few weeks, am definitely asking for him. Great Job!

I have bought two cars from carsmart in the last year one for my daughter and one for myself. The first car was a toyota carolla 2014 great mileage but I did not informed that it had been in an accident until seating at closing table..same thing with a land rover I was going to purchase for myself found out bymyself that airbag had been deployed in accident to me major thing but refused to reduce value of car imagine if u brought them a trade of that they would give u love value.....still on lot though..Lastly I bought 2014 mercedes and the oil light was on when test driving it...they fixed that...but they failed to informed me that the the key they had did not have emergencykey, then they did have second key and refused to pay for a full key..All I have to say is that I have to buy a car for my son and they did not earn my business.

I gave this place 3 stars because at least the car I got appears to have been a good deal. Now onto the bad...I found Carsmart because my wife and I were looking for a specific model car and through online searching it appeared that this place was one of the only in the area that had it and it was a really good deal. So good we were a little concerned. So I called the office to ask a few questions. The receptionist attempted to answer my questions but was clearly unknowledgable in the process. In fact, she gave out information that was flat out wrong. For example, I was looking at a Hyundai and I asked her if the 100,000 mile warranty transferred. She confidentally said yes it does. So I called Hyundai directly and was explained that only a 60,000 mile warranty transfers. She could have found this in a quick google search like I did rather than lie to me. Next I asked if I could get the car checked at a mechanic prior to buying. She told me the manager would call me back. No response....Anyway, I still wanted to check out the car. So we made an appointment with Ismael and drove 45 minutes to see it. When we got there Ismael was not to be found so we were sent to Aaron Jones. The car was there and looked to be in near perfect condition (it was a 2015 with 15,000 miles on it). Some rust on the rotors and some minor scratches was all I saw. I did note that the floor mats were oddly missing and Aaron said he would take care of that. After test drive we decided this was too good of a deal to turn up so we asked for a discount to cover the minor issues with the car. The finance manager told us that since the shop was closed at the time he couldn't get the mechanics to check it again but assured me it had passed inspection. I was able to get him to discount the price by $200 however. Still no word on getting floor mats despite me checking back in 3-4 times on it.Ok, so we agreed on the deal and Aaron was very nice and curteous the entire time. They gave us the keys and said that they would have to check for the spare set in storage. This seemed extremely shady. This dealer only had about 20-30 cars on their lot so storing all the spare keys would take up about as much space as a shoe box. So why would they need to keep them in a different location? Also, how come the key was even separated in the first place? This seemed very odd but at this point was not a deal-breaker.Regarding the car, I did get it checked out right away at a trusted mechanic and they found no hidden issues, so at least I felt comfortable that I bought a solid car. The next day I did receive an automated text message from Aaron wishing me well with my car. I responded by email to Aaron to ask about the still missing floor mats. Silence... I called the dealership and they apparently had no idea of an Aaron that even worked there. Odd. I finally got on the line, after several very confused receptionists passed me along, with another sales manager Ismael. I explained I never got the floor mats and Aaron promised them. Still sounded like no Aaron even worked there. I explained that genuine Hyundai mats were about $75 online. He said he would not get those but I can go to Advance Auto and pick out mats and they would purchase it for me. I said, thats crazy because it would be the same price and I live 45 minutes away. He said he would get back to me and hung up. Silence... So I never heard about about the floor mats. I considered it a wash and just bought my own good quality mats.Fast forward 40 days, I was supposed to have been notified of the permanent plates being ready at the dealer. Seemed like a long time, so I called them. The receptionist confirmed that they were ready for me. Why didn't anyone call me, I ask. She had no idea.... I insist on speaking to a manager and along comes Ismael. I tell him about the terrible customer service I've endured and ask him to please mail me the plates at no charge (they typically charge $20 to do so). He laughed at me and said he would do it as a customer courtesy. I asked about the spare keys and, as expected with a place like this, they did not have it.So end of the day, I got a good deal on a gently used car that was oddly missing floormats and a second key, both of which I had to buy on my own. The customer service at Carsmart makes Comcast look good, hence the deduction of 2 stars. When I got my other car purchased new, I got personal calls from the salesperson to check if I needed anything a few days later. Only an automated text message and no response from Carsmart. And the fact that they deny or are unaware of an employee working for them (they only have about 3-4 employees in the office at one time) is absurd. I am happy about my car but I would never recommend this place to anyone.

After being turned down by several dealerships I was referred to DeWayne. He told me over the phone I promise you will drive away in a new car today. I drove my sputtering trade in there & sure enough drive away in a 2015 car! He was up front & honest the entire time & cared more about me having a safe & reliable car for my children then trying to just sell a car. I would recommend them to anyone! It was the easiest car buying experience I ever had!

Though I came in for the $88.00 special, Fasih explained my options, was very patient and did not pressure me to make a purchase. He was also very friendly to my kids, especially my 3 year old who wanted to follow him everywhere. Great customer service, will recommend!

I don't regret my Dodge Charger, I love the car. I regret buying it from Carsmart. After a two month's time, Carsmart went back on their word. They were going to recharge my AC, but didn't have a certain part. They didn't want to spend the money on the part, because it cost too much. Which means it wasn't serviced before they sold it to me. I know they are making money, because they wouldn't be in business. I wonder how many other people didn't get their AC serviced, or was it just people who bought Chargers. Or was it because it was still wintery at the time, so why bother charging it. It worked ok for now. I was told the car was inspected and if something is not right let them know. I don't expect much, but a quality product and quality service. If you're selling something it should be in good quality and something that should last until at least the first service appointment. I wish I could take back my original critique. The price was right and they were friendly, but don't expect nothing else.

I must have called on a bad night, because I talked to 2 women & neither one of them could answer simple questions about a couple of used Dodge Darts. All I wanted to know was transmission type, Stick or Automatic & to confirm the exterior color. Never got a straight answer on trans. & their ad said color was gray, but Dodge has never painted a car with a color that simple, especially these days. The color I was trying to confirm was Granite Crystal Metallic, but after getting passed back & forth between the clueless help a few times I was told someone would call me back the next day with some decent answers. A different women did call back & sent me e-mails, falling over herself trying to salvage a sale I guess. But it was too late, my first impression of these people was 100% frustrating beyond repair. I can't comment on the facility or buying process because I couldn't get past the phone call.

The whole car experience was fantastic. From the time I called to inquire about the car I wanted to the time I picked up the car, everything went smooth and easy. From the people I talked to over the phone, the dealer I dealt with (Ismail) to the lady that processed all the paperwork. Everyone was friendly, courteous and professional. I was nervous buying the car and they made me feel real comfortable. I love my 2014 Dodge Charger.

In the beginning I was very hesitant about purchasing or doing business with Carsmart, However, I was sold immediately! The footwork was complete before I could even get started. Once I was referred to Ismail the customer service became that much more outstanding!! Ismail and Raquel were the epitome of customer service! The energy received from them showed care, concern, and great appreciation for the customer. You guys rock!!!

I would give 0 stars to this place if I could, I am so thoroughly disgusted with this place. I made an appointment to meet Tisha Carroll last week at 7:15 and test drive two cars that I was interested in. When I got there, not only were SHE not there but NEITHER of the two cars were either. I was informed they were at "inspection in Fairfax". FYI, it is ILLEGAL to have inspection done in another state from where the business keeps the cars!!When I tried to discuss pricing by phone, Tisha ASSURED ME that $13,999 would not be a problem ($1,000 less than asking price) on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I told her I wanted it confirmed before making a 90 minute drive out there and wanted to make sure the price was fine. She assured me on 3 separate occasions that it would NOT be a problem. Imagine my surprise when I got there and was told they couldn't go any lower than $14,899!!! A difference of $100, AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE CARS. Are you serious?!?!??????The man I spoke to then tried to pull a bait and switch and tried selling me a 2015 Hyundai Elantra for more than $2,000 more. When I told him I wasn't interested, he immediately stopped talking to me and tried speaking to "the man" of our group, who I informed him was my mechanic and was NOT interested in buying a car from him.I got a bad feeling from the time I stepped into this filthy run-down place. The people here are xxxxxx con-artists who have NO interest in dealing with women or fair business practices. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!Rest assured that your positive reviews, that were probably posted by family of the employees there, will NOT last for long as I smear your name across the Internet. You have messed with the WRONG customer. Do NOT contact me again or the next time you hear from me, it will be through my lawyer!!!

We were promised a second key fob and floor mats but were told after we bought the car that they don't have either, and would not get them for us without us paying for them. They lie and do not give customer satisfaction. I will never purchase a car from this place again and urge all who read this to NOT purchase a vehicle from these liars either

Found the truck I had been looking for (2013 nissan frontier) at a good price from carsmart. Talked on the phone off and on all day with people because I was driving over an hour and a half to the dealership. When I finally got there at night after work I was informed the truck wasn't even there after being told all day it was and I could come test drive it. I should have cut my losses there but ended up haggling out working a deal over the phone. Went down the next night and looked it over. Found out it had been in an accident but was assured it was in good working order...test drive seemed to confirm but I'm not a mechanic. Bought the truck. Over the next 10 days I found loose bolts and oil leaks that they had wiped up so I wouldn't notice. Took it to a trusted mechanic and he informed me the truck was a mess. The motor and transmission had been out of the frame, paint and body work was poor, the transmission was throwing a code, and the FRAME HAD BEEN CUT AND RE-WELDED!!!! My mechanics best advice....take the bit and get rid of it that day! I'm upset to say the least! These guys are crooks! I got rid of the truck already and went with a reputable dealer. I was all set up to purchase a good used vehicle but because of these crooks I'm now out all my doe payment and have a large monthly payment. If I had spent a couple thousand extra to begin with I would never be in this mess. I would never buy anything from these people ever again! But if you're forced to make sure you bring a mechanic and ask for the Carfax

Everything they told me on the phone was a lie right down to whether they could pick me up from the metro! After taking the metro there, they assured me they could pick me up from there to the dealership. Once I got to the metro and called for a pick up they said they couldn't pick me up because they were "busy." So I ended up taking the bus(!) to their dealership and there was NO ONE there, not one customer. I hand them my paperwork and then they tell me I don't make enough, though I confirmed with a rep on the phone that my salary was ok. In the end, I wasted my time and money with them.

In all fairness my first and second visit with this dealership was great. Friendly attractive sales and staff. I felt very comfortable. Because of this I left money on the table. After the sale the salesperson acted like he did not know me. When I left the dealership he said call if you have any questions at all. The next day however he would not take my call. He would not return my calls. I was told if it was a service problem, call service. ouch ouch ouch Service, what can I say? When I pointed out a problem I was told "it passed inspection" Since I was assisting the service manager said I don't want to be rude but it passed inspection. I am so disappointed from something that started out being a pleasant experience..

The vehicle that I came to buy had a hidden damage, caused by a front impact. The damage was not listed on the vehicle's history report and was not reported to me by sailsmen, even though the mechanic at the dealership was fully aware of it. A plastic manifold of the air intake was broken in half and was literally "resting" on its place, ready to disconnect and fall into the engine compartment on a first bump. This could've easily caused a fire. The employees also declined to lift the car to see if there is any structural damage to the frame. I would like to warn car shoppers to NOT take any of their word for granted. BRING YOUR MECHANIC to inspect your car. It'll cost you 50 dollars to bring someone out for 30 minutes, but it will save you $20000 in purchase (which would loose $5000 instantly upon closer inspection).

We had a very positive car buying experience at Carsmart. Everyone was really nice. They assisted us, and helped us with everything. Our sales associate was no exception to the rule. ALL others were very professional, friendly, fun, and a pleasure to do business with. After searching for two weeks for a car, we couldn't find a better price than Carsmart.It It has been a while since I have done business with a dealer and had a bad prior experience. This experience confirmed that there are still some very good ones out there. Would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new car, truck, or SUV. I purchased a 2012 Nissan Altima on 8/30/2013. The car is a LEMON and they know it. Tire light has come on 5 times, bad brakes and rotors, loud screeching sound from the front drivers side and the back suspension, shattered glass throughout the entire car. Called the dealership over 15 times, went to the dealership over 6 times and they are still refusing to repair the car of swap it out. Will not provide me with the GM's name or number and stated they have no idea when he will be in the office. Hide you trade on the paperwork and the loan company they use has a F RATING on BBB and only wants the car note dose not assist you with the problems. This is the WORST company to do business with because their business is just getting the loan finished no matter what kind of problems you have with the car they are NOT going to repair them!!! LEMONS are sold here so unless you want to make LEMONADE RUN!!! Reported them to MD Attorney General Office, MVA ISS Department, BBB, ripoffreport.com and any other agency. I will be passing out LEMON flyers to inform other so you will NOT be the next victim.DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME or MONEY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The initial phone consultation was great. Tischa was very nice and easy to speak with,we were under the impression that she was a sales person. She failed to metion that she was only the appointment scheduler and she miss informed us about the origin of the car. She mentioned that is was purchased from dealer and that it was only used for test drives. The vehicle was as advertised, with 18,000 miles on it ; however, it had not been cleaned on the inside, it had black markings in different areas including the fabric covering the roof. They did mention that the car was detailed, but as my wife started repositioning the seats found potato chips and tons of pet hair. Obiously the previous owner had dogs.The price was ok and the vehicle was mechanically and physically as advertisedt, just not clean.Because of previous comments on this site, my wife made sure to ask about an additional set of keys and They said they would check to see if the previous owner had turned in any or we could wait util we recived our tags, that any additional keys would be sent along with them. The whole experience was very unsettling and we felt missleaded in many parts of our visit. Needless to say we did not purchase the car we went to see. We bought a brand new car at a nerby dealer, same model and style for the same amount on many with only 17 miles on it.

Thos dealership is a major scam! They called me and told me I was approved for a loan and that I could get the vehicle I wanted. I traveled from alexandria va only for them to run my credit in their shack and tell me I couldnt get a car without money. They never told me that they will just say what they can to get you there!! 1. When you call about a particular car on lot, it goes to a Call Center which is in VA. You Must ask to talk to somebody physically on lot. 2. They will not budge on price. 3. They did not respond to my requests: additional pics (because internet pics were not clear), nor call me and do a visual inspection prior of me driving 4 hrs to see the car. 4. I had to test drive with an empty tank, which we all know its not good for any car. 5. I requested to have the car ready to go (detailed), it was not...very dirty! 6. They do not honor Veterans, they don't care if you served or not. 7. I requested to speak to Manager, nope. Nobody called me regarding my concerns. I did purchase a car their ONLY because of the fair price and particular car I was seeking, but I was Extremely upset how I was treated. I hope and pray the service I received will not reflect me owning this car.

I recently had a great experience with Car Smart. After my bank turned me down for a loan due to less than perfect credit, I did some research online to see if I had any other options. After I found Car Smart I visited their dealership, where they had a lot of nice cars and they offer financing for all types of credit.I ended up getting qualified for a loan and purchased a dodge charger. It's a sweet ride and without Car Smart I wouldn't have it. Definitely go to Car Smart if you want to be treated fair when shopping for a new car!

The initial phone contact was great. The lady was very nice and easy to speak with. Drove from south Stafford to see vehicle on a Monday afternoon. The vehicle was as advertised; however, it had not been cleaned on the inside at all. Previous owner had dogs and there was no effort made by the dealer to clean the vehicle. Not sure how long they had the vehicle on the lot before I purchased it, but if you are going to list it and have it available for sale, at least wipe the inside down and spray some air freshener. The price was great and the vehicle was mechanically and physically excellent, just not clean. The sale and contracting went smoothly (financed through my own bank); although we had to deal with several different employees for different parts of the sale. As we went through the paperwork process they were suppose to be "cleaning" the vehicle, as the employee who went on the test drive with us told us they had the best detailers in the area. The car was on empty, so we had to stop at a gas station where they put about 1 to 2 gallons of gas in it. So after the paperwork was completed, we get the one key to the vehicle. They said they would check with the previous owner to see if they turned in any other keys. We get the vehicle and it was washed on the outside, nothing done on the inside. Not even air freshener. We point out some obvious smudges/marks in the back of the vehicle, which they cleaned; however, we did not want to wait around all day for them to clean the rest of the vehicle, that should have been cleaned from the start. We spent the weekend giving the vehicle a thorough cleaning. So we give them a few days and then call back to check on the other keys and we are told by Dewayne and several other employees they would check on it and call us back in "ten minutes". This time comes and goes. I call back in over an hour and Dewayne is busy with another customer. He is always busy with a customer when I call. He was not busy with a customer the entire time I was there buying the car. At one point we are told they talked with the previous owner and she turned in three keys with the vehicle. Then we are told they found some keys to my type of vehicle, but they were not sure if they were mine. Then finally, after giving them a week and a weekend, we are told there are no other keys to the vehicle. The manufacture charges $250.00 for a new key. If you buy a used vehicle and they only give you one key, get it in writing that they will pay for a second key (I did not). Next we are waiting on the tags that we were told would be mailed to us. After calling to check on them they tell us we will have to come in and get them (drive to Maryland). If we want them mailed then it will cost $15.00. After calling carsmart again and asking to speak with Dewayne, he is off course with a customer, but eventually gets on the phone. I explain about the tags and he said he would talk with Laura and for me to call him back in 15 minutes. I call back in about 20 minutes, to give him extra time, and I am informed Dewayne went on lunch break. I ask who the owner is and they find Dewayne without answering me about the owner. Dewayne said he talked with Laura and the tags will be mailed out tomorrow. (No charge I am assuming) Dewayne said the owner is Allen Goligen (phonetic) because Dewayne did not know how to spell the owner's name. Further, if I want to speak with the owner, I have to call back the next day about 1100. No phone number to the owner or a secretary or anything. Not holding my breath that the owner will be there when I call. The price of the vehicle could not be beat by any other dealer in VA, MD, NC, or NY; however, we paid for it with the lack of customer service. I do not plan to bring my vehicle to them for any other reasons, so after I receive my tags I will be happy to be done with this dealer. Only deal with them if the vehicle is at a great price and as a last resort.

Ugh. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. The contact process was the only thing that went smoothly. I was contacted by Tischa about a vehicle on which I inquired online. She was nice enough, I told her I wanted to come see it that evening and had a long drive. She made an appointment for me at 7:15 PM and assured me the car would be prepped and waiting for me. She told me to see her boss, I think it was Dwayne, when I arrived. I got there right on time after my long drive and they didn;t have the car on the lot. they made up some bullcrap story about it needing some kind of inspection and they they couldn't have it until the next morning. Even if that were true THEY were the ones who insisted on making the appointment, they had my phone number, the very least they could have done is call me when the inspection place supposedly closed at 5PM and let me know they didn't have the car.They could have cared less. When I asked if they were going to reimburse me the 50 dollars I had just completely wasted to make the trip there to see the car, I was ignored.Really, do yourself a favor and stay away. They care nothing about their customers. You will be sorry...
