Walked back out and gave a vehicle one last glance on the way out… Had a few cool vehicles on the lot so I’ll give them 2 stars for that.

Tim was great! Extremely helpful and patient with me and my million questions via text. I really made him work for it but he was great. Fantastic experience with him. Everyone else I encountered was very friendly. I got the impression things were a little unorganized when the deal was finalized after I signed for everything, but that could have been situational and it would not deter me from doing business at this location again.

I recently traveled from Indiana to Dilley TX. James Rodriguez was excellent in getting me scheduled for oil change and the checking of all fluids. Technician accepted vehicle at scheduled time and maintenance was performed in a timely manner.

I bought new Cooper tires for my truck. I called a couple days ahead of time to order the tires and they said they would be there to get installed on Friday. I show up Friday at 8am (my appointment) and they didn't have the tires. They called around and located the tires but now my truck had to stay there all day waiting for the tires to get delivered. They did a great job installing the tires but when I picked up my truck the tires are supposed to be to 36 psi and I had 2 tires at 41 psi, 1 tire at 35 psi and 1 tire at 38 psi. I had my husband adjust the tire pressure and now the tires are to speck. The staff was nice and friendly and apologized for the issue.

I recently contacted the Kerrville Dealership location via internet request for more information. I dealt with dealership via texts, regarding a 2015 Chevrolet Pick Up that was at your Kerrville location. The reason I am upset is because I was told that I could come look at this specific truck, Saturday, October 29th. Once I arrived at the dealership for my appointment, Salesman took my information down and asked me about my trade in. They appraised my car prior to me being told that the truck I had driven to see was not at this location. Salesman explained to me that he did not realize that the very truck I had made an appointment to look at was taken to the Burnet location that morning. Mind you my appointment was at 10:00 AM. I feel that I should have been contacted prior to my appointment to let me know of this change. I feel that if I were the owner of this company, I would like to be made aware of situations like this. I drove over an hour to get to Kerrville, Texas when Burnet, Texas is 30 miles away from me.

I e-mailed about a 2013 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor they had for sale, they were very cordial in our conversations, however, I saw exact same year car at another dealer and their asking price was much lower.

On 5-12-16 I took my Mom and Dad to the Hondo Ford Dealership because of a mail out my mother recieved telling her she won a cash prize.Upon we were greeted by a young man dressed very sloppy and dirty. My mom and dad both in the late 80's wanted to look at a new Exployer. The young very unprofessional salesman brought up a frie bronze Exployer. I watched this guy do a sales pitch about this vehicle. As I approached the vehicle after about 10 to 15 minutes I noticed that there was very extensive hail damage to this new vehicle. I ask the salesman whom had not said a word to my mom and dad about the damage AND HE SAID YES BUT HE WOULD REDUCE THE PRICE. This was a total lie. After trying to pressure my Dad into buying this damaged new vehicle another salesman older man came to the table and began putting an enormous amount of pressure on Dad to by this damaged vehicle. This crook lying decepitive person told them he had reduced the vehicle and once he showed the pricing there was not reduction for the damage. Also they offered my dad 3,000 for his trade in and that in was also trying to steal his trade in. We found out later that the people there were not full time but a carnival crew of lying salesman from out of state and when we left we felt like that was the worst experience of our life and we will never reccommend that dealership to anyone for anything. That was and is criminal you should be ashamed of the way my mom and dad were treated. It was a Carnival Circus Joke Ripoff.

They use a very deceptive add mailing to get people to drive from all over the state to visit their showroom under the pretense that they've won $1,500 when actually all they've one is a chance to spin a wheel for $1 to $500 worth of prizes. They say their advertising is legal, but nowhere on the mailer does it say you may not have actually won the prize that you scratched off. And to think, they acted very surprised when I and another customer where not happy with this tactic. If they are this deceptive in their advertising, just think how deceptive they might be with their Sales Deals.

Purchased a 2015 F150. Service excellent. Becky takes the time to know her customers so there is no hassles. We got right down to the truck we wanted, talked price and payments. When we took a break, there was no pressure, she proceeded to get information processed for us while we were gone and it was a good experience. We love the truck, best one we have owned. The only drawback that we have this time at the dealership is that our vehicle was there for almost one month for the work to get done! ????We dropped off and picked up our vehicle after hours, so we didn't have any interaction with anyone.

On February 17 2015, I went looking for a vehicle. the seller of Cecil Atkission Ford, showed me an expedition, but they did not let me drive it, I was told that the brakes need it to be adjust. They persuaded me to sign the contract and to buy the vehicle, Even though the car was not ready, and had not passed the state inspection. I was told the next day the car will be ready. Four days later on February 21,2015 I when to the dealer the car was still not ready, I asked the general manager, Javier Gonzales to unwind me from the contract due to the situation of the vehicle and how the whole deal was handle buying a car that was not drivable and was not fully disclosure prior to purchase. He yelled at me was upset for losing the sale. I asked to speak to his boss "Scott Barlow" the General manager, he was very controlling about the whole situation, he was raising his voice at me right from the beginning because I requested to be unwind from the contract I was not satisfied that the car was not ready. The general manager Scott Barlow threatened to arrest me, he showed me a batch from the police and said he was the top authority, and he throws me out of the premises. he called the police alleging I was disrupting the peace. He clearly invented that so that he could not release me from the contract, and keep holding me liable; All because the dealer could not lose the sale. He did not care to look over my interest or my experiences as a buyer. He humiliated me and my family. I walked out of there in tears, with a contract of 60 months $5000 less, that's what I gave as a down payment, and without the car. All because Scott Barlow thought that by having a constable badge and being the General Manager could take advantage of the customers. Mr. Barlow forgot the ethics to be the general manager, and the rights of the consumers.I had the worst experience as a buyer, because the people in charge of Cecil Atkission Ford at Hondo, Texas took advantage of me, and sold me a vehicle not drivable.

Came in to decide between 2 or 3 new vehicles and the one I decided on needed a tweak, the dealership went the extra mile to trade another dealership for that car, but before it happened, they suggested I consider a freshly traded, gently used luxurious vehicle with low miles that ended up fitting my needs best. They sacrificed a new car sale, but kept a lifelong client. I always feel they look out for me like they would for family. This is my 4th car purchase at this dealership. Thank you Cecil Hondo!

I wanted a GMC Acadia and the Cecil family in Hondo was extremely polite in locating one for me, bringing it in, and letting me buy it from my hometown folks. The experience was great. I am very wary of car dealerships because of the experiences I have had in Houston's metropolitan dealerships. The folks at Cecil Atkission were courteous, friendly and helpful. I choose the vehicle I wanted online, emailed them and a representative called me promptly. I confirmed the equipment on the vehicle, requested a sale price and got what I thought was a very good price. My wife and I drove to the dealership a few days later and completed the purchase in a rather short visit. The vehicle was delivered to me two days later. I would recommend Cecil Atkission to any of my friends.

I stay with my Fords due to the service I receive. James is so dependable and works hard to keep my old Ford Explorer Sport running as I drive it back and forth from Hondo to San Antonio, 5 days a week. The 15 year old suv runs like a top. I would investigate in a new Ford suv. However I think the New Ecape is cheaply made compared to the other competion that is out there. I am holding off purchase a new suv hoping that soon Ford will improve the type of suv that suits me. If not I am looking at a Jeep they are well made heavy cars.

I was in the market for a F350. I live approximately 100 miles from the Hondo location, thus I was doing my shopping via the internet. The dealership had a nice inventory and good information online. I saw the vehicle I was interested in and sent an email from the picture associated with the vehicle. I received a prompt response. We worked the details out via email correspondence including what I felt was a very fair purchase price. Upon arriving at the dealership we were greeted by a professional and courteous staff. The entire process at the dealership was very good. I required additional equipment on the truck that required an additional day or so for preparation. The dealership then delivered the truck to my store. Great service, courteous personnel, great experience. Would recommend Atkission Ford to friend or family.

F350 4X4 Runs great. The low tire pressure light stays on all the time. Since I first received the truck. Will bring back for correction.Slight problem with in bed ball hitch. I bought truck with goose neck hitch but when I got home and ready to use it next morning there was no ball in the truck. Had to make trip back to Hondo to get the ball which was promptly supplied. James has worked with me on many issues with my 15 year old Ford Explore Sport. He is the reason I keep the car. Sadly I don't like the new Escape ..I have 2008 too. I am looking at a Jeep and really don't want to buy it as James and I have developed a relationship that evolves from buying my tries at Ford to fixing the ac unit this summer in the car. We are working monitoring the oil leak that developed as the car is old and still making the 82 mile round trip into San Antonio from Hondo. I struggle with buying a Jeep as I really trust and value James as my service writer that keeps me safe on the highways. I am hoping Ford Escape I don't feel safe it at all. MY 2012 Ford Escape saved my life.

I purchased a manual and bed liner. The bed liner was installed perfectly and is just what I wanted. There is no way I could have done it myself as I have Multiple Sclerosis and am 72. I am very pleased with the way it looks and am convinced it will be a valuable addition to my pickup.

Well I did and the guys got on it like an old sled dog on a high speed race. I received a flyer with a scratch off as well I scratch it off and my numbers matched with the winning prize of 1000 we shall see if the dealership comes through with there word and hands me my cash then I will do a follow up on whether they scammed me or not. Very deceptive dealership. If you get a scratch off advertisement in the mail and you think you've won cash or money off, don't believe it. It's a scam. On the advertisement you will scratch off and win money, but when you take it in they will tell you that you've only won a free lottery ticket. Nowhere on the advertisement (or small print) does it tell you this- the advertisement makes it truly seem like you've won money. When I spoke to the representative he insisted that it wasn't misleading, but did make a comment that I shouldn't have really believed that I won anything. Basically they deceive you in any way they can to get you in their doors and they have no qualms about it.
