This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a reliable car and superb customer service. The staff avoided me for several days, and my vehicle purchased less than 6 months ago broke down several times. Each time they promise to have fixed it. "The Ultimate Driving Experience" has been "The worst Driving Experience"

I am SO unhappy with how things went at Century BMW of Greenville SC. My boyfriend and I went car shopping together Saturday and they really led me on. I spotted a BMW online and loved it, so we went to look at it and it had not been detailed yet so the salesman said to give them about 3 hours and they will have it ready or close to ready, so my boyfriend and I went to watch a football game at wild wings and came back 3 hours later and the car looked great. I gave the salesman my license to make a copy so we could test drive it and he came back and said that there is a man and women already about to drive it and buy it. Then they kept us dangling around for another 30 mins telling us they have not made a decision yet. My boyfriend finally went and asked the couple and they said "yes, we told them 30 mins ago we were buying it, I don't know why they did not tell you. We were treated horribly and I wasted my whole day because of them. Not happy at ALL. Also, I do not know why they treated us that way, maybe because we are young, but honestly that means nothing.

I drove with a technician to try to identify a chirp. Of course, it did not happen when driving with the tech. However, of course, heard it this weekend again very distinctly. An annoying chirp when the air conditioner is running - perhaps a compressor issue???

I purchased a 2016 X5 Plug in from Century. It was one of the first to come off the assembly line in Spartanburg and I wanted to buy local so BMW and Century. I thought I was buying a car that would get great mileage with the electric feature and I invested in a charging station. I have driven hybrid cars for years- owned 7 of them. This vehicle was a terrible choice and I paid over $72,000 for it and was told I would get over 30 miles per gallon. I never got over 24 miles per gallon and I complained to the CEO of the Chain of dealerships, Bruton Smith and to my salesperson, the new car manager, the service manager and to BMW corporate. NO ONE did anything about the issue and all of them kept saying that the car was performing to expectations. Well that is not what the sticker said on the car. For months I asked for a resolution, a trade or a refund. They just ignored me. How many times does someone pay that kind of money to be told you don't matter. They cater to the ultra rich and could care less what the average buyer has to say. Please do not buy from them. Instead if you buy a BMW understand that the corporation does not care about you and neither does the dealership. You are all alone. If you must buy a BMW, buy it from BMW of Asheville. They will treat you with respect and help however they are able.

Worst service from a car dealership I have ever received. Had inquired about purchasing a car and from the start the salesman, Cameron was rude and offensive. I let it go thinking maybe he was just having a bad day in the beginning, but throughout the process he was the furthest thing from helpful or nice. He never called or contacted me in any way regarding the car I was looking to purchase and it was quite frustrating to have to call a car dealership almost daily to even see if a vehicle I was interested in purchasing was even on lot (as it was a loaner) I was honestly ecstatic whenever I called the dealership and Cameron did not answer my call as the other salesman I dealt with was much friendlier and much more helpful.Last week I received my first correspondence back from "my" sales rep Cameron stating he would contact me when the car was back on lot. Needless to say apparently in the one day since he emailed me stating this the car was not only returned but also sold. However I only know this since I looked myself. Did I mention this the was the worst customer service ever?

Not only was the buying experience outstanding, but when I brought in my 228i (6MT, THP) for an oil service at around 5k miles, sooner than officially indicated by the service agreement, and fully expecting that I would pay for it myself (I don't believe in today's "extended" service intervals) - the service manager found a way to have it done at no cost to me. Also, I just showed up at the service desk on a Saturday with no appointment. Car was washed and vacuumed, and he sat down and demonstrated how to check the oil service intervals on the "vehicle status" menu. I am very impressed! And all this for a customer with perhaps the least expensive car they sell. I was absolutely blown away. Fantastic customer service!

This is the first time I had my vehicle serviced at Century BMW since I just moved to this area. The vehicle has been serviced at another BMW dealer which I am very satisfied. Recently I had regular scheduled service for my X5 because of a message of "service due" appeared. However, after the service I found a front tow hook cover missing and the message "service due" remains. I contacted the service advisor who promised to send me a replacing part which has not been received after 10 days. I was instructed to go to the dealer for resetting reminder message. I did not expect this will happen. It is a basic service I have to drive over 30 miles to dealer to fix the problems.

We had a peculiar experience with our X1 after leaving it in front of an ATL motel for a month while traveling. Wc could not unlock the front doors even with the key. The back doors and the trunk opened. What followed was mystery until we got to Century where we learned that over a month the battery will drain a bit causing an automatic response that locked the front doors but not the rear doors and trunk. It was strange. No one we talked to every knew about it, but Jim Cody found out and made it clear, we'd not been hallucinating. I recommend BMW engineers look at this issue and make it better known.

After repeated problems with the " check engine light" the dealership went to bat for me recognizing that though my BMW X5 was a 2010 model with low mileage the problem with the anti-pollution system triggering the light should not be occurring and got BMW to authorize the replacement of a substantial portion of the system gratis and without my insistence.

Century has serviced my X5 diesel since its production. They leave the car clean on the inside & outside; however, under the hood fluid spills in the engine compartment are constant On this visit I asked for a battery evaluation due to a reoccurring appearance of the battery light. I was told the test reflected a normal reading and not to be concerned. Within the week the light returned and I had another company run a battery diagnostic that found one bad cell. Century previously had been unable to diagnose why the factory issued Bluetooth system stopped accessing my iPhone music. They replaced the whole system but it still didn?t work, and they offered no path to solve the issue.

I purchased the CPO 2009 128 convertible at Century 3 years ago and have continued to have it serviced there. They have always been professional and were very supportive when I had to have the top replaced. This time I had an oil change service. They noted a service issue for me to monitor and had me back on the road in a little over an hour. A very clean and attractive facility.

They replaced a burned-out fog lamp bulb. $88 is pricey to replace a $15 bulb, but that's because you can't get to it in any simple manner, which is on BMW, not the dealer, because of the cramped engine compartment. The mechanic, Jeremy Camp, is outstanding -- he has done other work on our vehicles -- he is professional, meticulous, and takes the time to explain repairs to the customer as necessary. Definitely satisfied!

Jonathan was the person who took care of the servicing of my BMW 328i yesterday. Since our main concern was the air conditioning, Jonathan immediately looked at the settings on the dash panel and graciously showed me why our ac was not functioning at full capacity. I really appreciate his forethought because it saved us needless repair.I also appreciated the offer of a loan car while other repairs were being carried out as it allowed me to run errands while waiting (we live in Tryon, NC). I also took advantage of looking at new BMW's for future reference for trading in a year or so. I bought my mini from another dealer. It was a certified used car. I drove it 2 days and noticed oil and antifreeze leaks. I took it back to dealer who contacted mini of greenville. They got the car in the next day and did all repairs in a day and cleaned the car. Very happy with the service

When I moved to South Carolina, I started servicing my vehicle at Century BMW and due to the excellent service I received, I knew my next BMW would be purchased at Century. I walked into the dealership and was greeted with "hello," not, "what are you looking for." Working with Client advisor, Shane, was amazing. Not only did he show me the exactly vehicle I was interested in, but he was also very knowledgeable of the product and answered every question I had. New car director, Dustin was also great to work with and was extremely respectful of our time. The business manager, Rodney was extremely efficient and had me in and out of his office in only a few minutes. What I like most about my experience was how transparent the staff at Century BMW is. I was treated with complete honesty and not once felt pressured to make a purchase. Taking delivery of my vehicle inside an inclosed carport also a very nice touch that adds to the BMW ownership experience. This is my first BMW purchased at Century BMW and definitely will not be my last.

I have been to Century BMW on several occasions for various service issues on my 2001 BMW 530i (many many miles, many problems). Every time, I make an appointment and am met promptly, and leave my car there, so as not to sit around and waste my day. Courtesy travel arrangements are very convenient, rather than having to wait at the dealership. I always get a call the same day with a diagnosis. Most recently (February), I told Dylan -service advisor- that I was on a budget (let's not put too much money into this sinking ship). Same day, he called back and said it was safe to drive, waived the $180 mechanic fee, and I was on my way without cost. Very friendly, helpful, and generous. Will continue to visit for future service needs.

They came and picked up my car and had the tire replaced (nasty nail) by the time I was finished with teaching for the day. I recently traded in my car for a pre owned BMW 328i sedan at century BMW of greenville sc. I was hesitant at first due to previous comments I had read. My first conversation was with Cameron via the Internet and phone, he was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. First impressions are extremely important. I went into the dealership a few days later and was greeted immediately by my salesman Mr. Baynes Norton. I was with my young son and he treated us both with kidness and made us feel welcome. I was trading in a uncommon and expensive car that took some time to get information on. We were at the dealership for 4+ hrs. Chris the pre owned manager and Tommy the GM went out of there way to help me with a financial situation that needed to be addressed. Thank you again! I have purchased a few cars and this was absolutely the most stress free, professional and pleasant buying experience I have experienced. It is what you would expect from buying a A line car such as BMW. My final encounter was with Ian in finance, he was funny, professional and extemly helpful after a long day. I highly recommend Century BMW and other dealerships should use them as a standard to look up to and learn from. I will update my review after my first service appointment, as that is where many complaints come from. I drove here from Atlanta GA, to look at a couple new vehicles I had saw online. I was first ignored by many salesmen who just stood around doing absolutely nothing. I know they noticed me because a couple of them were just staring at me. Mind you, I was ready to purchase cash. But the customer service here was so terrible. I have never in my 40 years of life ever experienced such horrible, & rude service. I was so shocked that a dealership of this standard would be promoting these HORRIBLE salesmen. I guess they don't need my business or anyone else's in that matter. Whoever reads this please don't waste your time or money on these rude, "too good for you" salesmen.

Century provided a great buying experience and expertise in the car I purchased. The GM, Tommy, introduced himself and took me to the lead technician (Jaguar Certified Tech) to answer all of my questions in regards to past service and work performed. The shop facility is spotless and that tells you a lot about a business and how it's run. Then a test drive (with no one accompanying me) to enjoy the car, which I did for the better part of an hour.After returning we worked out a very good, amicable deal with additional incentives to return. He and his staff I met with - Chris, Jana and Greg - made certain everything was in order to get the vehicle I wanted. After Tommy reinspected the vehicle he noticed a few cosmetic details he wanted to insure we're taken care of and is doing a complete detail to insure it looks like it perfect. After months of looking for a pre-owned Acura RL, I located one at Century BWM in Greenville, SC. On a Saturday afternoon I drove from Charlotte, NC to Greenville, SC to look at the vehicle. I was met by Bob Whiston, client advisor. Bob was very professional and knowledge. We were able to put together a deal within a couple of days. I feel Bob worked hard to put the deal together and I was able to purchase the vehicle for a price that I thought was fair. I would definitely recommend Bob Whiston and Century BMW. I flew down from New York to South Carolina on January 17,2014 to purchase a used vehicle from this dealership. I sat down to do the finance paperwork with Jim M and was sold a BMW road hazard tire & wheel protection warranty for $1289/5 Year/Unlimited mileage which is listed on my bill of sale which I am currently paying for. I was driving to work on the morning of October 6th 2014 and my tire light comes on and I pull over and notice I got a flat tire due to a nail. I called a tow truck and got the vehicle towed to my local BMW ($185 out of pocket charge). I get inside the dealership and the service rep asked how I would like to pay. I tell him I have a BMW road hazard tire & wheel protection warranty. The tech checks his system and says he doesnt see anything on file and I should contact the dealership I bought the car from. I called and talked to Rodney and explained my situation and he told me to to pay for the tire and the service and the dealership would reinburse me ($573.91 out of pocket charge). I dont know why my warranty that I paid for is not active. Rodney then fedex me a different warranty that he wanted me to sign that was not unlimited mileage no towing coverage, non bmw warranty basically not what I paid for. I contacted Sonic motor group to see if they can do anything about the situation and Vicky contact the manager who called me the same day I contacted Sonic. He appologized for the mixup and promised to call me the next day. Its been two weeks and I havnt heard anything from the manager who promised to call me back. I lost a day of work and weeks of frustration trying to get my money for the towing and the tire/replacement costs. Emails/phone calls and nobody can help me. Whats going to happen if got forbid I get another flat tire? please think of other options before going to this dealership. The lack of communication and unprofessionalism that I recieved I wouldnt want anyone else to experience that

The service department has lost my keys, diagnosed the same issue as three different causes, and repeatedly finished repairs late without calling to let me know. When I went to buy a new car, they jacked up my finance rate, then lied to me about it...even though I can and had done the math on it. I finally bought and will service my new BMW elsewhere.

I contacted the dealership via email for the car I was interested in that was online. I got an immediate call back- literally 20 minutes later- about the car. Apparently the car was a popular buy, and the woman talking to me urged me to come in as soon as possible and we set something up. The morning of the appointment, before I even left, I was called saying the car was bought the night before. It was bad luck, but I'm really glad I was called as soon as possible and the contact was great.

Last month I bought my new X3 from Century BMW and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I shopped other dealerships here in Charlotte but Dustin and Jana (Internet Sales) at Century made the trip to Greenville worth my while, financially and otherwise. Once inside the dealership, Baynes and Chad treated me like an old friend, with professionalism and respect - which was lacking from the other dealerships I shopped. They even delivered my X3 to Charlotte, as I was unable to make arrangements on my own. Here, a month later, Century continues to follow-up to ensure all is still going well and to be available to answer any questions I might have. Century of Greenville truly exceeded my expectations. I had the worst experience with the sales advisor Jennifer Little at Century BMW in Greenville SC. She swiped my debit card several times without my consent therefore causing my card to freeze. She has no customer service skills!! I called the bank from her office and then she proceeded to argue with the bank that she didn't. She never apologized or tried to make the situation better. She just stood there with a DUMB look on her face!! A lil advice for Jennifer Little. Find something a lil easier that you can do.....swiping bank cards is just too difficult for you.

Kilgore family Tuscaloosa,AL So this is how our journey lead us to century bmw of Greenville SC...we were looking for a particular bmw M3 with a particular set of skills an miles! lol believe it or not there was only 4 in the us on the market that were at a decent price... we are from Tuscaloosa AL and we are looking at cars on the market in Seattle WA which is nothing less than two plane tickets and a gamble on a used performance vehicle which to me was a huge risk then I came across the right car with the right color inside and out low miles and priced reasonably and it was only five hours away so I immediately called to check the availability! on the first call I spoke with Chris the used car mgr who dropped the price to match others that honestly didn't match up with his car an the options it had...we had discussed financing half the vehicle with him and I was immediately passed onto the finance mgr after Chris answered all my tedious an meticulous questions "does the engine tick" "is that camera flash or a stain on the door" lol the finance mgr roger took our info over the phone and thru email... we filled out a simple form on century bmw's website at that point we were told we would get a call back not 20 minutes had passed when he called back saying congratulations we got you approved with a good rate "penalty free" loan an to be honest we are just establishing credit so we were def impressed... at that point it was almost to good to be true then we were told they would do the paperwork an overnight it to us to be signed in order to secure the vehicle until we could schedule a pick up! sure enough next day the paperwork arrived no surprises at all once again to good to be true along with the car the pics the disposition of all the staff TO GOOD TO BE TRUE so I knew that if we signed this paperwork an mailed it back we had just officially bought ourselves a car! with my gut telling something's up I decided it's only a 4/5 hour drive we can't both get off work but I can so why not sign the papers deliver them myself after I inspect the vehicle! so that's what I did left out early this morning an drove to Greenville much to everyone's surprise upon arrival I was greeted by at least 5 staff one of which is Chris "used mgr" and Shawn "salesman" we talked then moved on to the car which was perfect inside and out drove perfect was under represented if you ask me the engine sounded brand new and had 44k on it I was told it was previously owned by a doctor which I brushed off as a sales gimmick which I actually confirmed with the vin thru our local dealer I was completely satisfied and all worries were at eased we then went back inside an I presented them with the signed paperwork and spoke with all the staff including the general manager Tommy for a good while about the car an the entire experience which was A++ we are now the proud new owners of one of bmw's finest and I can't wait to return with my wife an bring it home with us it's my understanding that this use to be a place to stay away from a couple years ago from good sources but in the last couple years it has been revamped with new staff and new ways if doing business which in my opinion is impeccable these guys definitely provide the premium service that a bmw commands new or used from my point of view I didn't see not one car that was "auction worthy" an or under par I'm sure I am missing many details about the transaction but needless to say it was awesome and I couldn't imagine anyone having a bad experience here and now at Century BMW can't wait to return and drive home our M3!

I was very impressed not only the product, but the team effort to make my experience wonderfully memorable . Marcus Mayberry is a super star, he could sell snow to an eskimo. Cameron was like a very friendly but persistent BULLDAWG. Dustin coordinated the entire deal in a friendly, and highly professional manner.Jeff did a superior job processing my loan. A salesman contacted me several times and twice asked to set up an appointment. As I was busy , I told him I would definitely come to Century when I was seriously looking. Last week we came to Century BMW and spent perhaps one-half hour looking at cars on the lot. Not one sales agent came out to greet us. I did go inside, before we left, and left a message with the receptionist for the salesman who'd called us. At that point, she did offer to have someone talk to us but we were no longer interested - as the several sales agents standing around seemed very uninterested. This was a very different reception from other dealerships that we visited. Apparently BMW has plenty of business and doesn't feel the need to make the extra effort.

As a Manager and Asst Vice President of a large corporation, I understand the importance of customer service. I also realize that when my team makes a mistake that negatively impacts the customer, I as the Manager, must assume responsibility for the mistake and try to identify a way to fix it....or do the best I can to communicate my sincerest apologies to the customer. I wish I could say that the people at Century BMW did that. Unfortunately, they did not. After locating a used car for my 16 year old daughter, I contacted Century BMW to see if the car was still available for sale. A salesperson contacted be much later in the day confirming its availability. The next day, Friday, I contacted Century BMW (speaking to the same salesperson) and advised them that I would be leaving around 2:00 that afternoon to drive 2 1/2 hours to their location to view and test drive the car. I provided my cell phone number asking them to please contact me if the car sold or no longer available, as I did not want to make such a long drive for a wasted trip. At that time, the salesperson told me that he personally would not be there, but he gave me his manager's name and told me to ask for his manager when I arrived. Shortly after noon, the same salesperson called me on my cell phone and told me that the car was being sent to the Volkswagen dealership to be serviced for a recall issue. But the salesperson assured me that the car would be returned back to Century BMW long before I would arrive. At 2:00 that afternoon (after reviewing the Carfax on the vehicle), I contacted the same salesperson, asked a few questions and then advised him that we were leaving to take the 2 hour drive to the dealership. Upon arriving, I met Hyder, asked to speak to Chris, the manager and Pre-Owned Director, and identified the car I was desiring to see. Hyder told me to have a seat. He then told me the car was not there and that it would not be there until the following Monday. He nonchalantly apologized and then stated I have someone (another person) from your area who wanted to see this car too, but I called him and told him not to bother because the car wouldnt be here. First of all, why would you explain to a potential buyer that the company took care of another person but had no consideration for the one standing before them? Then, to add insult to injury, I was also sarcastically told by Hyder, that if I wanted to see the car Monday, then perhaps I could carpool with the other potential buyer to see the car the following week. Hyders manager, Chad stood quietly and said nothing to Hyders response. And what did Chris, the manager I was told to speak to say about this? I dont know..as they (Hyder and his manager, Chad) would not let me speak to Chris. Why? I was told by Chad, Chris wouldnt know anything about this either and this was just simply a miscommunication that couldnt be helped. I then walked out of the dealership (after I was sarcastically told by Hyder to Have a nice day), got into my car and watched a group of salesmen gather together in one area and laugh. Hmmm, I wonder if they were laughing about the whole incident. Even if they werent (which I believe they were), they most certainly gave the impression this whole miscommunication that couldnt be helped was something to laugh about. What could have been done differently upon my arrival? I should have received a sincere apology AND some type of solution to the problem. Perhaps someone could have contacted the Volkswagen dealership to see if I could have driven there to at least look at the car. Perhaps Chris should have taken the time to speak to me (or at least answer our calls after we left). And last, but certainly not least, Hyder should have been reprimanded for treating a customer as someone who didnt matter and making comments that were completely uncalled for.

My Husband and I came to this dealership over the weekend. A saleman Pat Lennox came outside and to greet us once we arrived. We had been to the Asheville BMW dealership and also Knoxville Dealership. And upfront we told them what we we're willing to spend and what we had to trade in. Both dealers did not have anything in our price range to work with...........??? But we told Pat upfront this is the money we have and this is our trade. PAT MADE THIS VERY PAINLESS!! We found the car we loved on Saturday and went back Monday morning and drove it home! This is our first BMW. We had a Chevy Tahoe for years and it was a good car but with all of our kids grown we just desided it was time for something smaller.Thank You Pat for finding us the car we love and enjoy.

I had a great buying experience for my preowned certified BMW 328i. The appointment was over the internet, and I got a reminder email from Cameron, and a phone call. They had the car ready for test drive. Brian accompanied me for the test drive and asked some thoughtful questions about my interest and listened to my responses. He seems to be a natural salesman, not pushy, but asking the right questions to gauge your interest. Since he saw my interest in the car, he recommended a second test drive and that did sell me. I am a first time BMW owner, but am happy with the purchase so far, and very happy with the customer service thus far. His boss also stopped by and gave my car a free detail after my purchase. I just recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler from Century BMW and I enjoyed every minute. My salesperson, two other floor gentlemen, and their fabulous detail man were courteous and respectful. Tommy is an excellent General Manager and he is really giving Century BMW the name that matches their quality vehicles. Stop in and give them a visit and leave off the lot in a new vehicle or a very good used vehicle! In my opinion, Century BMW is a top-notch dealership. The dealership itself is comfortable and modern and is always very clean; they always have a large selection of new and pre-owned vehicles on the lot to view; and the staff has always been very friendly. If you head to Century BMW to look at and/or purchase a vehicle ask for Shawn. I had the pleasure of meeting Shawn a few years ago and he helped me purchase my first new BMW (my first new car ever actually). Since then, I have purchased four additional BMWs from Shawn and I am rather certain that BMW number six will be purchased from him as well. Shawn is always helpful and he has been great to work with. Jim (my Service Advisor), Libby and Danny (Sales Managers), Rodney and Juan (Finance Managers), and Scott (General Manager) have always been enjoyable to work with as well. An excellent experience every time I walk through the door!

Issue: Century BMW acted in bad faith by advertising a price on their website, confirming the price by phone while attempting to take a deposit from a customer, then later "adjusting" the price UP another $3,000 dollars, while making groundless claims that it is still the "lowest price in the market." Facts: Called Century BMW in Greenville, SC, after seeing car advertised for $12,991 on their website. Salesperson confirmed price was $12,991, as advertised on their website, and said the car was at the shop getting the soft-top replaced and detailed before they could take pictures. Salesperson offered to put the car on hold for me with a $500 refundable deposit. I said I would rather see the pictures first. Salesperson agreed to send pictures over email. I sent follow up email minutes after our conversation recapping next steps and the types of pictures I need. Then, I get the reply below.... Century BMW's reply:"I just checked the pricing on the Honda 2000 and want you to know the pricehas been adjusted to $15991. I realize the early pricing said $12991. But with ourdecision to replace the torn top with a complete new top the price is $15991.Let me know if you are still interested since it is still the lowest price in the market for the same vehicle."

This dealership has apathetic attitude towards lease customer that is really turning me off to deal with them. I came to Century BMW to lease a new vehicle again. My current X3 lease that I got from different dealer was ending and wanted to get a new one. When I walked in and asked for new lease, all the sales person seems to avoiding me. I was led to different places several times and then asked to wait at the waiting room. By then I was already irritated by leading me around to different places rather than just telling me to go to a waiting area to begin with. After a while, Tino Sullivan came and I told him I am shopping for a new car and wanted to browse through all the available options. He looked apathetic towards me and almost irritated by my request and wanted me to just pin down one vehicle to show. I told him 3 series with white color but also wanted to see new X3s. He showed me the new cars but was very unenthusiastic when explaining the variable options. It seems that he wanted me to go away as soon as possible. I had to ask him to show me X3 and he was very reluctant to do so, saying new X3s have luxury options so it wont fit in my budget. When I asked him for lease quote for two vehicles, he didnt want me to give detailed quote, just saying vague amount. I told him I want the copy of all the numbers like money factor, invoice price and monthly price. He had this reluctant attitude again and asked for my current monthly payment Im paying for my X3. I told him honestly, $488/month. He comes back after few minutes and gives me a quote that exactly matches my current payment, $488/month. He also wanted me to significant amount of down payment, ~$1600. I had feeling that he had played around with numbers. How can 328i, which has way lower MSRP than X3, have same monthly payments as my current X3? I told him that it didnt make sense but he responded saying it is what it is. I told him I want lower payment, and he just told me he cant and I should look for different car instead. This kind of behavior and attitude is first time I felt from numerous BMW dealerships I had dealt with. I was very disappointed and had distasteful experience overall.

Later, as an employee in sales, and later in financial services, I quickly became aware of what a special organization this really is. Mickey Joy, former General Manager of Century, and now Regional VP for Century's parent, Sonic Automotive, set the pace for attentiveness to detail and customer satisfaction that has earned Century BMW's Center of Excellence award many times. Later, Bobby Bishop (current GM and former Parts and Service Manager) took the baton and, along with a very talented and dedicated group, continued and built on the dealership's success. It should be noted that I have since moved to Dallas and was affiliated with a BMW dealership in Dallas for a short while that was a far cry from Century in every respect. I'm now back in the investment business, so I have a pretty good perspective on what makes a dealership successful or not. I chose to work at Century originally because I was satisfied service customer and loved the product. When you're shopping for a BMW, look beyond the price. Look at the VALUE. There is no better car, maintenance plan, or warranty in the business. The best overall VALUE can be found at Century, where once you purchase your first BMW, you'll always want to come back. I witnessed multiple generations of satisfied customers buying cars from Century who rightly felt like they were part of the "Century" family. As for price, all dealerships pay the same for the cars. The dealerships have a right to make a reasonable profit. That reasonable profit is invested in plant and people to be able to provide the high level of service and technology you expect. When you're making an investment of this magnitude, you're not just purchasing a car, you're purchasing the dealership and all the people in it. Even as a Dallas resident, when I'm ready to purchase my next BMW, I'll be flying back to Greenville to purchase it from Century.

I have purchased three BMW's from Bobby, Skip, and the rest of the folks at Century over the last five years. In addition, I have had two other BMW's purchsed privately serviced at Century in the same period. Without qualification I can and do recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new or used BMW.
