My key fob wasn't working (oh no, right?) and Chuck did EVERYTHING he possibly could so that I didn't have to purchase a new one. At the end of the day I had to purchase a new fob, but they didn't charge me for re-programming it. I was helped by both Chuck and Tom - thanks to their positive attitudes and outstanding service, I will be back (if needed) and recommend them to others!

I thought I had given up on my search for a used car. On a whim, I stopped here on the way home from Ann Arbor. Scott knew my budget, and found a vehicle that was just turned in. He worked with me on the purchase of the vehicle, passing inspection, etc. I picked the car up today and they did a great job. Very impressed with Scott and the dealership overall.

I will not be coming back here, and I will be sure to tell everyone that I know not to. Not only did they dick around with my car from 9am to 430, they also charged me $105 for doing absolutely nothing. I don't recommend coming here unless you fancy getting bent over and xxxxxx in the xxx, your time wasted, and then charged for them to do nothing but waste your time. If I could give them no stars I would. xxxx champion Chevrolet. Told me they had no idea what was wrong with the car, and as I'm driving away im still experiencing the same issue. Now I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Champion Chev Howell was our third stop on 10/12/2016 to shop for a new Suburban. We stopped at Feldman Chev on M-59 An employee asked if he could help but did not introduce himself. Took us inleft us set at his desk for 10 minutes....then told us they had no 2016 Suburban's and that it would be 30 days until they received any 2017 " they are being made as we speak". He made no other overture to us did not take any info from us. Then stopped by Lafontaine GMC, Buick, Cadillac on M-59. Man what a dealership!!!! We stood by the front doors, were not greeted. We found our way to the rest rooms on our way a gray haired gentleman said, "Hi Folks" as he walked by us but never stopped. After using the restroom we went back to the front of the beautiful dealership and waited for 10 minutes. We left without ever speaking to anyone. On to Champion Chev in Howell. On entering we were greeted by Dan Danaher who introduced himself...he was also wearing a name badge. He asked how he could help and got right down to telling us what he had in the way of both 2016 and 2017 Suburban's. Long story short we purchased a loaded 2016 Suburban that day. We had great conversations with both Dan and with the general manager Tony Tori. They were friendly, Listened to what we had to say and we struck a great deal. Both Dan and Tony earned our respect, and our business. As the sale progressed other dales rep talked with us, kidded with us, just a good day!

Looking for a new car after my car was totaled in an accident. Decided to check out this dealership because it was close to where I live. Glad I did. Found a very nice replacement vehicle in a Chevy Trax. The sales person was very friendly and worked very hard to satisfy my needs. He went the extra mile to sharpen his pencil in order to make the deal happen. Threw in a few freebies that made the deal extra sweet. Was able to finalize the paperwork in a matter of a few hours which included shopping around for the best financing by the business manager. Great Value. Drove it home the same night!

Drove there to test drive a vehicle (about 120 miles one way). Vehicle in decent shape and I asked if their price was firm. Oh yes, says their sales mgr; it's selling for what we paid for it. Price was $17,495. Today price on AutoTrader.com drops to $16,995; gee, do you think they lied about the price they paid?? I wouldn't buy anything from these clowns; especially the so-called sales mgr, Tony.

I live in South Carolina and found the HHR I had been looking for at this Dealership. I negotiated with their sales manager,Thad, for their best price as an incentive for me to fly to Detroit to get this car. I spoke to him at 6pm and he gave me a firm price broken down by Car,Doc fees,Taxes etc. and told me he would be there til 9 pm. I tried to reach him repeatedly that night to get the final offer in writing before booking airline tickets but he never called or responded to the Voicemails I left. I called back the next morning and was told he did not come in due to a family situation. I called the next day and spoke with him that morning and he told me that he was sorry but the price would be several hundred dollars higher than he had quoted. I asked to confirm that he was not willing to honor the price I was given over the phone by him earlier and he said no that he would not sell at that price but he did apologize for not having listened to his voice mails that night. I told him that was all I needed to hear. I will not be shaken down for a higher price after reaching an agreement. Buyer Beware at this dealership they can't be trusted to keep there word.

I highly recommend Champion Chevrolet, Howell, MI if you are looking for a new car, etc. I have only bought one new car in my lifetime well now I can say I have purchased two in my lifetime. The experience was made very easy by Helen k. Deline and Scott Lambert who went beyond 100% when helping me find the right car. Helen Deline is very knowledgeable about the product. No pressure but lots of information. When it came to finance Laurie Humphrey was great! All in all it turned out to be a good experience for me.

I was traveling and was losing air pressure in my tire. I called my salesman (Nathan Y) from Champion to see if he could fit me in to service on my way through town. I was much appreciated for his speedy help in getting my car into service. I apparently had a screw in my tire (I had my car previously into another dealership and they couldn't find anything...pumped me full of air and I was on my way for a few miles). My sales person was very good and did everything he was supposed to do and more. He was friendly, reasonably knowledgeable and efficient. No complaint at all in this area.I was fundamentally happy with the car, though it was not detailed very well and has harsh feedback through the steering wheel compared to other cars I test drove. (I was assured this would be fixed "later.") Happy with base price of car but somewhat unhappy about rush to sign papers, still not being sure about warranty, not knowing interest rate on loan and buying some "insurance" coverage that I didn't want because it was "bundled." In reviewing the paperwork I see that I signed a piece of paper that says I'm buying the vehicle "as is" with no warranty beyond the original factory warranty, so I'm not sure about the "certified pre-owned warranty" program. Obviously it was my responsibility to question all these things, but it's not my nature. I'm used to people being more forthcoming and in less of a rush when doing a major transaction like a vehicle. (This was my first experience buying a used car from a dealer...maybe that's just the way it is.) My biggest concern at this point is post-sales service. Given the less than pristine detailing that was done and the "we'll fix it later" attitude on the steering vibration, I don't have that warm, fuzzy feeling..Since I live in Canton I'll likely be going to the Ypsilanti shop for service. I'm hoping they'll be very customer-centric.

There was never any pressure, and he always assured that I had what I needed throughout the process. My credit was challenging, however this was never presented as an obstacle by the sales team. In fact, Travis Baker was able to obtain approval from two lenders and this process did not take more than an hour or so. Travis identified a car on the lot that met all my needs. The car was detailed and I took delivery roughly 24 hours after my initial application. I had decided that it was time to purchase a new vehicle. Unfortunately, I had no idea what kind of vehicle I really wanted. In previous years my overall car buying decisions had been made out of convenience and particular transportation needs. This time I was not trading in a vehicle nor did I have any specific need for a particular type of vehicle. The one thing I did want was a good new vehicle with a warranty that was comfortable to drive and ride in. I had visited about 10 other dealerships from about 5 automakers prior to stopping in to Champion Chevy in Howell MI. At each of these prior locations I did the exact same thing as I did when I stopped at Champion. I found a sales representative, informed them of my situation and asked to see some vehicles that would be within my price range, needs and wants. Every time the sales rep would immediately show me the first care that came to mind that was at the top of my price range. When I sat down with Travis Baker at Champion Chevy, he did the exact opposite of all that. He listened to my situation, looked over the inventory and then came up with a plan for each of the vehicles that he had in stock that fell into my price range. After looking at and/or talking over a number of vehicle he was able to identify a vehicle that had great rebates and was really kind of at the lower end of my price point. I heard him out and was a little skeptical at first but after taking it for a test drive and reading the online reviews and specs for this vehicle I had realized that he took the time to find a vehicle that met my expectations and didnt at any time try to over sell it to me. After getting that personal attention and understanding, I probably would have bought any vehicle that Travis had recommended for me. The overall care and customer service at Champion Chevy was better than I had ever received at any other dealership during my car search. Unfortunately I do not foresee myself needing to purchase another vehicle in the near future, but if I do I know I will only go back to Champion. Great job guys and thanks for all the support.

My salesman was jeff pafford, aka (the nation) I have bought two cars from here both from jeff, he's a very easy going guy, and makes sure you get the best deal and drive away happy, he knows his stuff! he goes above and beyond, everyone I talk to that's looking to buy a new or used car I refer them to Jeff. All my future purchases will be at champion in howell through Jeff. The rest of the staff is also very friendly, and always ready to help you out. Dealership is beautiful as well. Do yourself a huge favor when making your next purchase, make it at champion of howell, you won't regret it.make sure you see Jeff Pafford, abd join the Paff nation! This is my second experience with this dealership.. I will NEVER use them again! My experience last summer was with the service department. After a car accident I had my 3 month old vehicle brought to then to make sure I received GN factory installed parts etc.. The service manager made false quotes to get more money from my insurance. Eventually the car was considered a total loss! This left me upside down in a loan. No apologies or contact! Then 2 days ago my son recommended a nice salesman to help with my youngest son getting a vehicle. This salesman was very nice and tried to help.. After one full day we were told my son was approved for a lease and we just needed to decided on money down and style.. We chose the right vehicle and payment.. The manager and finance ok it but because it was too close to 6 which is their closing time we were told the deal had to wait till next day. Pure laziness.. Then the next day my salesman did a great job getting our GM discount entered and getting car prepped but at. 3 pm the next day the deal was a no go.. Why? Because the managers and finance never originally looked at the deal.. My sons credit score was not high enough.. Hmmm.. You knew that over a day ago.. Then there was a scramble for cosigners etc.. Needless to say the salesman was left with disgruntled customers and a mess.. As of today there is still no deal no apologies for the poor business procedure that happened! Do NOT ever use this dealer! They do NOT care about their customers! From service to sales I will spread the word on the shady dealings of this dealership!

So these guys have a 2014 Silverado 1500 listed on cars.com for a few thousand dollars. It is not a mis print, it is done so their truck shows up first in the search results when sorted by price. Deceptive practices.

Hi pressure sales, when I made a counter offer that would have had new ties installed on the vehicle, and higher trade in values, they just raised the purchase price of the truck to cover the additional items. I didn't want them to sell me tires, I wanted to negotiate a fair deal. Never will go back there again.

Drove 2 hours to purchase 2008 Enclave#P5445 that is listed on this site with 73,151 miles. The vehicle actually has 75,500 miles on it and is NOT certified. The salesman did not tell us it was not certified, we found that out by reading brochure on desk, which tell limit of 75,000 to be certified. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! The finance person said he could sell us ext. warranty!!!! Bad Business!!!

We were looking for a used car for my 20 year old son and went to champion in Brighton. Jeff wanted to research possibilities by himself before bringing my husband and I in to it. He went to many different dealers and was blown off by the salespeople who apparently did not take him seriously. Mike was the only one who treated him with respect and went out of his way to assist and help Jeff. That made a huge impression on Jeff and me. In the end we returned to Mike to purchase the car and he was very helpful during the whole process. We alSo had help from Luke Smith who was also very helpful. I have always had a good experience with waldecker, now champion, from sales to service. Everyone is very friendly and offer great customer service. Went there to purchase a new vehicle. Wanted the Chevrolet Impala. Instead, salesman talked me into a Malibu. Said that the price was better because it allready had 10,000 milies on the odometer. Turns out that the Impala brand new at other dealers was actually about the same price as the Malibu. Mine is 2004 and I have filed for a lemon law recovery on it. Payment is 525 a month for 6 years and it's been in the shop more than 10 times since I bought it. What a rip off this dealership is. Will absolutely not work with them again. I'm just grateful that Michigan has the Lemon Law for situations like mine.
