We started dealing with Champion Ford nine years ago when we purchased our first Ford truck. That's when we met Mike Militello, the only salesperson who was happy to stay late on a Friday afternoon to just answer questions about the 2009 Ford F150. We met with him the next day and went over every available option and proceeded to order a new truck. Now, it's 2016 and time to do it all over again. Of course no other salesman in our eyes could compare to Mike . We ordered a new Platinum F150 and are thrilled with the vehicle. Mr. Militello again spent numerous hours with us and was so knowledgeable about every detail and option that the truck had on it. There wasn't a question that he could not answer. He is proud of what he sells and Ford Motor co. should be proud that he is one of theirs.

I was welcomed into Champion ford by the very handsome, yet also very intelligent sync specialist, Arie. He brought me around, showing me various options when I told him what I had in mind, and a little about myself to find the right vehicle to suit me. He also got me some delicious French vanilla cappuccino from the complimentary drink area! He was a gentleman! He then took me to my salesperson, Ernie Dance. Ernie was very informative, and made the process quick and easy for me. When I told him what car I was interested in there was no pressure to even think about higher priced ones. OK well we bought car last Thursday, I asked if there was two keys for it, I was told yes they had them. Here it is Tuesday and no keys. I have called several times and get same thing, ( we are checking with the previous owner to get key) well all they need to do is make a key and program it, It don't have to have the buttons on it, just the key with the chip. I hate getting the run around. Plus they were to fix the light, but never ordered the parts. If I paid cash for it I would be treated better. Funny how that works!!!

In replacing the straps to my fuel tank, they nicked the brake line causing it to leak. They did not fix or replace it. My regular mechanic caught it. They refused to reimburse me for the cost of its repair. When I complained, they kept calling my house trying to schedule additional service calls despite my demands that they stop doing so. I wound up trading it in on a Chevrolet. I would avoid them at all cost.

I go to Meadville for my lifetime oil changes because I bought my car there originally. Now that I have moved to the Erie area it is a long drive if something goes wrong with the car. Any time I have had an issue I go to Champion Ford because they are easily accessible to find, they are always polite and willing to help me immediately with whatever is going on at the time. It is nice to find service when you work and are limited for time. They go beyond and above to treat their customers right.

Our 2011 Ford Escape needed new tires and a new battery. This is the FIRST time any extra expense had to be done on the car which is a real positive statement on the quality of the Ford Escape. I was given several options on tires and was not pressured into any certain brand or price. I chose the Micheline which were a bit more expensive, but I like the tire and the tread life from past experiences. While waiting, I was informed that the break pads needed changed which I did as well.Overall, the quality, efficiency, and personal contact with the service department was EXCELLENT.i highly recommend Champion Ford Erie, PA and the Ford Escape.

We were leaving on a trip and the day before we were to leave we noticed the front tires were starting to wear. We had newer tires on the rear so we called Champion to have a tire rotation at the last minute. They were able to fit us in and did the rotation. The next morning traveling in central PA we hit a severe snow storm, thank God we had the best tires on the front or it would have been a worse nightmare. We were able to continue on to our destination, but very thankful that Champion was able to accommodate us at our time of need.

In addition to being due for an oil change, my Volvo S80 was sliding around on the slippery roads. New snow tires solved the problem. Tim Peyton (service manager for Volvo) recommended the Glacier Grips which he has also put on his wife's car. His recommendation was enough for me. The tires are not noisy and help my Volvo hold the road in the slippery conditions. I am very pleased with my purchase of tires and other services performed by the technicians.

Was all ready to purchase the car, had all of the money, knew everything about the car, go to get it, have to turn around and go home. I was about half way to Volvo of Erie when I got a phone call from Mike saying that they can not and will not sell the car due to frame damage. That would be 100% okay with me if they would've told me that about a week ago when I called to ask about it and get everything ready to go up and pick it up. Even without the frame damage, I still wouldn't be able to take it home, due to issues between Volvo of Erie and the bank, which is understandable if they told me this a week ago, but still not the worst thing to hear because it still can be mine. But no, they had to wait until I'm on my way to do everything for them to hold it until the bank allows them to sell it to tell me something making the car COMPLETELY unsellable. This should be a top priority for the dealer to know whether or not it is sellable. It has been for sale since 4/16/2014, today is 4/30/2014 which means it has been for sale for TWO FULL WEEKS without them knowing it had frame damage. If they would have told me this when I first inquired about the car, I would have been okay with this. This REALLY looks bad on you guys and shows that you do not look at the car before you put it up for sale. Thank you for making an ordeal over something that can be 100% avoided, just by making sure the car was in check before having a seller in line with cash in hand to buy it. I would not recommend you to someone with the idea that buying a car should be a pleasant experience. It will take a lot from you guys to change my view of Volvo of Erie.

I had been looking for a "slightly used" Volvo XC 90 for about a year and had talked with Mike Militello and been in the showroom several times with no luck. I was being very fussy about what I wanted so when Mike called to tell me that they had just taken a nearly new XC 90 in on trade and I should come and see it, I was there that day and bought it! He listened and knew I would love it. The service department manager, Tim Peyton, made sure it got serviced and checked out and cleaned before I left. The finance manager, Joanne Lennox, got me a great interest rate and did it in a matter of minutes! A great team working together created a positive experience for me. I have already sent a couple of friends in to buy cars there and they are happy also.

With being a first-time buyer, I expected a lengthy and confusing ordeal. After one day at Ford, Randy told me I could pick the car up the next day. However he could not be there on the pick-up day, but he left me in the capable hands of Lennon whom unfortunately I did not get a last name for. The leasing of our Ford Escape was the first "new" car shopping experience in 12 years. Needless to say, we were very apprehensive. Scott Arrowsmith and the staff at Champion Ford made the experience a fun, fact filled shopping experience. We found a pre-owned Volvo which our family has wanted for many years. The price was right. My wife and I had put money down on the vehicle at this dealership for the price on the sticker with the understanding that it was sold without warranty and 'as is'. We called the sales rep from the dealership the next morning to tell them that we would be up to purchase the vehicle at which time he informed us they decided to make the repairs to the vehicle. This was contrary to the dealerships prior language when they told us they wouldn't do the work. The dealership upped the price an additional $1800 and refused to honor the original price or even work with us with the price. And they did this work without asking us. Our family has owned businesses in western PA for over a decade and we would have NEVER agreed to price with a customer who also put money down on a product and then add more to the specific inventory, drastically increase price, and refuse to honor the primary cost. WE DO NOT HOLD THE SALES REP RESPONSIBLE AS IT WAS THE MANAGER WHO ISSUED THE UPDATED/ UNDERHANDED "NEW' POLICY. We wish the sales rep best of luck and hope that Champion dealership reconsiders techniques such as this. (We took our business elsewhere)

I would highly recommend Tom Chulick II for your next vehicle. Two days prior to my husband and I leaving for vacation, we spontaneously stopped in Champion Ford to look at trucks. Tom immediately greeted us and showed us several trucks. We just leased a Ford C-Max Hybrid from Champion Ford and experienced the best training session that we have ever had for a new car.Brian Lindquist spent a full two hours explaining the functions of the car and and having us perform the actions on the Ford Touch system until we grasped how it operated; we both felt very comfortable when we drove the car off the lot. This is a major kudo, as my wife is computer and technology challenged and for her to feel this comfortable with the hybrid, especially knowing that she could contact Brian at any time if she had a question made this the right choice for a new vehicle. I went into Champion Ford after visiting another ford dealership. The selection at Champion Ford was incredible. I was looking for a nice car 2-3 years old with low mileage and they had probably 3 times the selection of the first ford dealership that I went to. I worked with Shyla Stankowski who was amazing. She knew all of the prices and approximate mileage of each car without looking them up or reading the info off the car. This made the buying process much easier because she was able to easily point me in the direction of what I was looking for. First time we went into Champion, We dealt with Scott Arrowsmith. He was a terrible salesman; rude and rather condescending to my fiance and I. He was not knowledgeable at all about the vehicle we were interested in purchasing. I would never purchase a vehicle from HIM. We went back a few days later, and worked with Merch Calabrese who was awesome! He could answer every question we had, got us a great price, and was able to walk us through all the features of the vehicle. If you are looking for a man who is excellent at his job, make sure you work with Merch.

Merch gets us the best deals and always finds the vehicle that has all of the features that we want. I have enjoyed both of my Escapes and my husband loves his F-150's. Scott Arrowsmith really helped us without being overbearing. He could see my husband was apprehensive about buying a new car. We drove onto the lot in a Chrysler mini van with 150,000 miles on it. We keep our cars till they die and it wasn't dead, YET. Scott was able to sense this and able to switch gears and make him feel comfortable about a new car purchase. I found a great starter car for myself. Cheap car on trade-in, couldn't have asked for anything better. I was able to pay for it off a minimum wage pay at a part time job. I walked in and walked out with a set of keys in a couple hours. I recommend Scott Arrowsmith, he got me a great deal. The process was quick, painless, and professional. Lennon actually went and picked it up and brought it back to the lot so we could take a look at it that day and did not have to return another time. Take your vehicle somewhere else. I took my truck in for a recall notice repair. They nicked my brake line and refused to reimburse me for its replacement. I have had issues with them before, so have many others. Ask around, you can do better than here.

I bought a used car at the Champion ford. After purchased, when I took an inspection, mechanic found a severe engine oil leaking. In addition, when I asked about weird sounds from tire during test drive, the salesperson said it's a tire's sound. In fact, wheel bearing was bad. Now, I must spend more than $2,500 to fix my car for safe driving. Unfortunately, I sent e-mail twice my salesperson, but he didn't reply anything. If you really love to buy a new ford car, maybe no problem. However, if you buy a used car, you should really care about car condition. They don't tell anything and they wouldn't give you reasonable support after purchase.

All of the additional features were explained about the car. They set up the bluetooth feature and synced my Blackberry to the car.

This is my 3rd vehicle with Champion Ford. First was a 1994 Ranger XLT which I had for 14 years. Second, a Ford F150 XLT for 4 years. The staff have always been professional and courteous to me. My vechicles required very little maintenace in all those years, that is why I like Ford vehicles. I am extremely happy with all my purchases and an A+ for Champion Ford.

I recently purchased a 2011 Ford Escape from Champion Ford in Erie and I was blown away by their service. My salesman was attentive to my needs and helped get me into a payment that I could afford. They even had a gentleman that went over how to connect my phone and use it to get directions for the trip I was planning for later this summer!
