Ive been looking for a new/used car for over a month. I had pretty specific likes and dislikes. Finally After many sleepless nights on cars.com I found Chapman Ford. I called made and appointment with Pat for the following day. When I came into the dealship he had already done his research of available vehicles in my price range with my specifications (ex; Leather seats, sunroof, but maybe not depending on mileage and price) because im known to be a little particular and difficult at times with making decisions. I looked at an 08 Saturn Vue, a 2006 Ford Explorer, and a 2008 Mercury Premier. Pat took his time explaining all spec. differences between the vehicles and we test drove every one! He was a true people person with a nice laid back personality. I was even reluctant on the quality of the vehicle(NOT because of this ford dealer) because of being sold lemons in the past. He had no problem getting the car up on the lift and giving me space to look at it myself (because I know alot!) The car checked out, the price was right where it needed to be after a no hassle price offer (and acceptance). I added the additional 4yr 48,000 mile bumper to bumper warrenty wich I recomend to anyone buying a new/used vehicle. It was a little more expensive than I had anticipated so we will see how benificial it was....Also they offer a lifetime engine guarentee on almost all of there vehicles( i think) but im not thrilled with this, what happened to the 3 month 3,000 mile fully covered warrenty?! You Ford should bring that back and offer the option to get either or... Check them out!

I was in the market for a new F-150. I started looking at a Ford dealership closer to home on the Carlisle Pike. This dealership gave me and my wife the total runaround and we will absolutely never visit that dealership again. Then I contacted Scott Greiner at Chapman. We discussed what I was looking for, my trade in and and what price I wanted to pay. They actually had the truck I was looking for on the lot and had most of the paperwork completed prior to my visit. Once the test drive was completed, it only took about an hour to sign all the paperwork and I drove away in my new truck. I stopped by to look at the new fusion last Saturday and didn't want to be bothered when I was there. A salesman named Jared greeted me and I told him immediately that I didn't need any help. He accepted my request and simply gave me his card so if I left and had any questions later that I could call him anytime for any advice or help. I appreciated the geister and decided to go in and ask him some questions about the fusion and it's competition. He was very knowledgeable on his product and even a lot of his competitor's product. I was <shocked when he even encouraged me to go check them out as well because he was very confident in his product. The non aggressive a proactive went over very well with me, jared will have a customer in me when the time is right.

He understood that we were early in our shopping process, and that the Explorer was one of several vehicles we were looking at, but still did an incredibly thorough job showing us all of the options we had to choose from with both new and pre-owned vehicles. I bought a Ford fusion a few years ago from a Jared meshey. Let me just say I know I was the customer from hell. I did too many test drives, asked about a million questions and had my kids with me but through out the day Mr Meshey was more patient than any salesman I've dealt with at any other dealership. In the end I left with a brand new Fusion with all the bells and whistles I wanted. And it came in a little cheaper than my old car paymen. Definitely a good car buying experience.

Great experience during and after the sale. Jonathan Webster was great. He explained all the features of the 2013 Focus I was interested in and knew the various ins and outs of the cars handling, performance options, and trim packages. I was impressed with how he explained the SYNC system to me since my last car was literally 20 years old and I had no idea how much technology was in a new care. In the end I chose an SE model to stay in budget, but he politely and accurately answered all my questions. After the sale the Chapman team has been wonderful. Ten months after my new car purchase a defective part was found and it was replaced no questions asked and with out hassle in any way. Every time I have brought the car for service they are very thorough to inform me on what was done to the car and what they recommend. I never feel pressured to in any way to pay for services I can't afford at that time. A great team an Chapman Ford of Lancaster and I recommend them and will continue to go to them in the future.

Scott Greiner is a great salesman. His knowledge of Ford vehicles is comprehensive and his customer service is superb. I bought three vehicles from him in the past and was pleased each time. I went somewhere else one time and regretted it tremendously. I won't make that mistake again. When I need a vehicle, Scott's my guy! I will be following Scott to Chapman when I need my next vehicle.

I bought my Hyundai from Chapman Ford, and was helped IMMENSELY through the whole experience by Patrick Caterbone. I have dealt with many car dealerships, and each time I always felt pressured to buy a car. It was the complete opposite working with Patrick at Chapman Ford.Not once did I feel like I was buying for the wrong reasons or nervous about my purchase. Even with my car NOT being a Ford, Patrick was very knowledgeable about the car I wanted to purchase. Chapman Ford is always right on time with reminding me when I may need a service or an oil change (which helps A LOT) and the service is always done in a timely manner and done very well. I will definitely be recommending Chapman Ford and especially Patrick to family and friends!!

I stopped in a little while ago looking for a new vehicle. I was greeted by Jared Meshey who was very polite and friendly when he greeted me. He was very knowledgable with what he was talking about and made me feel really comfortable at their dealership. I know they do this to make a living but Jared made me feel that he was doing this because he truly wanted to make my car buying a great experience and so I can drive away in a car that was safe for my family and I. I did not walk away with a vehicle this time but when I am able to by a vehicle I definitely would not hesitate going back to chapman and asking for Jared again

I contacted Jared Meshey for help with a truck for my father. We talked about the model and the price I wanted to spend on the vehicle. He took all the information and got back to me within a few hours. He found some vehicles that were within the model and price I was looking for. Unfortunately being from Allentown Pa the distance was to great and my dad found something in this area and he felt it was easier for him to get it here. The customer service Jared provided was beyond outstanding and I have never had that kind for experience with a car dealership before and when it comes time for myself to get a new vehicle he will have my business.

I bought my Ford Escape in 2011 from Jon Webster; a super salesman, and have always had it serviced at Chapmans in Lancaster. Recently I took the vehicle back to the dealership for nothing more than an oil change; since the service department failed to reset my "change oil light" from when the vehicle was serviced and inspected. All I needed was an oil change. Now I get the concept of preventative maintenance; I work in the transportation industry where all our vehicles are PM'd on a schedule however what I do not appreciate is having the service representative come to tell me there are several other things the technician recommends be taken care of. Fortunately, I am NOT the only one who has felt this. I witnessed it with three other customers while I was waiting for mine to be serviced; so its a running dialogue the service department keeps with the customers. Like me, all the other customers blew them off that afternoon; perhaps they had the same feeling I did. I'm not sure I will buy from this dealership again because I don't like an oil change turning into a major overhaul of the vehicle. Although the service department may be thorough I think there is a fine line. What happened to the days of a simple oil change ??

All I have to say is if you drop your vehicle off there is get fit just expect to keep getting phone calls for more so called issues and end up paying triple the price. Not happy at all!

Bad experience. Dealership does not care about customer after sale. Does not return phone calls. Bought dealer care items to interior and exterior and do not believe they were ever done. Same on me, I should have known better. Dealer could not even explain how things worked during pickup. Will take somewhere else for service. AVOID THIS DEALER!!!

Talked to laure online Monday and was told SOMEBODY from parst department would get in touch with me. Well 24 hours later and still no CONTACT.This is twice and the LAST time I will contact Chapman Ford. My son saw a car on their lot he waanted to test drive today NOT GOING TO HAPPEN we will drive to York to buy a car. Chapman Ford is a DISGRACE to Lancaster County. If the Chapman sticker is not on your car you are one of the LUCKY ones. I was looking to a door sill plate for my ford focus. I will get that in York also

My husband and I bought a used car from this dealership, and they were horrible. When we bought it we were told that there were 3 small problems with the car. We decided to purchase it anyway because they were issues my husband could easily fix. They were getting ready to send it to auction, so they sold it to us for about $200 more than they would have gotten for it at the auction. We drove the vehicle off the lot and straight home so my husband could start working on it the next day. While my husband was fixing some of the problems, he noticed a HUGE leak from the bedplate - a HUGE engine problem that costs thousands to repair. The leak is so bad that it shouldn't even be driven. We called the dealership multiple times the next day (our 2nd day of owning it) and we were bounced around between different salesmen throughout the day. Most of them didn't listen - if they did, they told us we were either lying or the problem occurred after we bought it (mind you we only drove it home and that was it - a 40 min. drive). After getting nowhere with the salesmen we decided to contact the owner Ray. He was extremely rude and said the same things the salesmen did - we were either lying or it happened after we left the dealership. At one point he even literally told my husband "nobody stuck a gun to your head and forced you to buy it." Are you kidding me?!?! From the OWNER of the business?!?! After some more conversation Ray finally told my husband that if the title hadn't been processed yet he would yank it and we could return the vehicle. He never called us nor returned the many calls we made the next day - conveniently he was always "in a meeting" or otherwise unavailable. After I spoke with the title lady myself, I learned he never even talked to her about the issue...and of course the title already went through. So now we are stuck paying on a vehicle that we can't even use. The thing that gets me is they knew what the right thing to do was - to let us return the vehicle and just send it to auction - but instead they are willing to let a young couple getting ready to start a family lose thousands of dollars just so they could make an extra $200. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you are looking for a vehicle to buy. If I can help just one person avoid what we went through I will praise God for that.

I came in for a State Inspection and oil change. I was greeted warmly and professionally as I walked in the door by one of the Service Reps. He took my information and keys and I sat in the waiting area. It was only a few minutes later and he said I was ready to go! They brought the car right to the door for me. I'll be back for sure!! Easy and pleasant experience.
