I bought Fords from Brad Minard for years when he was near Stockbridge - fifteen minutes from my house. This time I drove an hour and a half to Chestatee Ford because he does not play games; he just helps you get a good vehicle at a good price. I was very happy to find that the other people I met at Chestatee were there to help as well. Kip Harvey, the Finance Manager and General Sales Manager Randy Berry were very nice and efficient as well. I am very pleased with my new Escape, and will be back with my husband in the near future for a new Explorer! It is nice to do business with friends-both new and old at Chestatee Ford.

After trying to chase down the salesman all day that told me the truck I inquired about on their website was sold I finally called the sales manager. I don't think being told to check their site after already seeing that their inventory isn't accurate is providing great customer service. Hours after calling the sales manager I the salesman emails me a three trucks that aren't even close to what I was asking for. No call, no text, just an email with three links.I have bought several vehicles from dealers in my life and I have never felt like I had to fight for them to sell me one. This exchange started with "I will buy this truck and I already have my financing taken care of.' This was before the store even opened. Instead of Making an honest effort to sell me a truck I have to fight through poor service and excuses only to get even worse service from the salesman at the end of the day.

We decided to go at the last minute on a Friday night and with the very knowledgeable salesman that we lucked up getting, Brad Minard, I drove home in my new Ford. He stayed way after closing and assisted us very graciously. Big shout out to the finance manager, Kip Havey, for a quick and painless (until the payment is due) approval process. Found our Platnium F-250 online at cargutus clicked contact seller and in minutes I had an email back from Bras with his contact info. Called him after 9 pm. And he answered. I had faith in only one dealership and one salesman until I stopped in here to browse. I had found a truck but I was just curious about what they may have. Brad the salesman was patient and informative and showed me what they had, the programs available and I found a truck that I liked and he went through every asset to bring it to within my price range. It took him the better part of a day scrounging incentives. He made sure that I got a very fair trade in on my truck. When all was done the financial person, Kip took over. When I went into his office he had already made a spread sheet with all of my options and the exact cost to me for each option for financing. Mr. Harvey was very detailed. Thanks to him and Brad I saved thousands of dollars. I must say that both were very open and honest with me and they both worked hard for my benefit. I've found me a new place to buy vehicles. I had been using my former dealer for over 30 years.

I recently purchased a new F150 King Ranch from Chestatee Ford in Dahlonega. Brad Minard did an excellent job presenting me with options and choices that I was interested in. This is not your typical dealership that you encounter when purchasing a vehicle. No pressure to sell me something I didnt want. I live in Acworth GA (76 miles from Dahlonega) and drove past 10 Ford dealerships to buy a new truck if that tells you anything. If you are in the market for a vehicle I highly recommend giving them a shot to earn your business. This was my second truck purchased from this dealership, first was in 2002. Not a lot has changed in 14 years still great bunch of people to do business with.

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2015 F-150 Lariat, working with Connie McCool. She was responsive over the phone and by email, and even more attentive when I arrived at the dealership, driving from Roswell. She was prepared when I showed up, knowing what I was looking for. My son and I walked into Chestatee Ford right as they were closing one night almost the night before Christmas SAL CORNEJO greeted us. He was very nice, knowledgeable and patient. For the 1st time I didn't feel Claustrophobic about being at a car dealership. Sal provided us with us facts that helped us decide what car to purchase. We bought a new 2016 Ford Focus on the spot especially because I wasn't pressured. I really appreciated that. My son enjoys driving his Ford Focus. It's neat features remind me of my Mercedes. The inside of the car is nicer than our other boy's new cars. And the pricing was better too. There is plenty of room for his skis too when he travels. He just folds down the back seat. We visited Chestatee ford twice before buying our Ford F150 from them. Our sales person, Brad Minard always spent as much time as we wanted and was interested in helping us decide on the best vehicle for our needs without making us feel pressured in any way. Their philosophy is to take the time to insure that the customer gets the features they really want, rather than just selling them a vehicle with features they don't want. Brad took the time to listen to us and was very honest in his suggestions. After the sale, the dealership spent time with us teaching us the basics of the car features and how to use them. They even offer classes on specified Saturdays for anyone who wants to learn more about the features of their new vehicle so that they get the most benefit from the features. They introduced us to their service manager and made everything clear about their complementary oil change and maintenance schedule, along with making it clear as to all other details for tag, title, warranty and financing etc. This is the best car buying experience we have had in our 45 years of car buying.

We had a great experience buying from Chestatee Ford. Our sales consultant, Brent Escoe, was great! We traveled from south of Atlanta to look at a new F150 XLT 4x4 that we had seen on the website. It ended up not being quite what we wanted. Brent listened to all the options we were looking for and said he would check. He came back to say he didn't have the truck on his lot but he found the perfect truck we were looking for on another dealer's lot. He arranged for drivers to pickup from the other dealer and deliver to Chestatee, had it cleaned up and then full explained every feature to us. He was very knowledgeable and very thorough. He even set up the Sirius radio and synched our phones. We were the first customers there that morning and didn't leave until after dark but left very satisfied. Brent went above and beyond. We love our new truck and highly recommend Chestatee Ford and Brent Escoe to anyone looking for a vehicle.

In October I went to a car sale and found a 2014 Ford Focus. It was not a brand new car, but it was new enough for me. The last time I peeled off a "brand new" car sticker was 20 years ago on a Ford F150. I was not even really in the market for a new truck or car, but my wife and I stopped by the dealership late one afternoon on the way to an appointment. Brad Asherbranner came out and greeted me, and then just allowed us to browse. He stood back and was ready to answer any questions I had. We appreciated his respect for our time, so I went back the very next day and test drove one of the new F150's. If you want the definition of a leap of faith - how about buying a ten year old used car, from three states away, sight unseen, via the internet?. What could have been a recipe for disappointment and disaster Brad Minard and Chestatee Ford made a pleasure. No malarky, no hyperbole, no "Hail Mary" pricing. Excellent, specific, and prompt communication throughout the decision and purchase process. The vehicle is solidly and in every way as nice as described. (I had been actively looking for 4-5 months all across the South, passed on nine similar cars elsewhere, and easily decided after talking to Brad "this is the one, and this is the place." When my wife told Brad I'd be taking the car on a long road trip as soon as it was delivered, he took the initiative to have it thoroughly inspected even though the age precluded it being sold as a Certified vehicle. The Service Dept found one small non-mechanical fix was needed, Chestatee Ford took care of that, plus providing a new battery. That meant a lot to her, no worries about my having to deal with issues that might have popped up on that first road trip. I've come away with a great car at a realistic price. My overall impression is that Chestatee rightfully deserves their good reputation, and that they're indeed in the business for the long haul. You can't fake integrity. I'd buy again in a heartbeat. And...tell Brad "the guy with the silver Magnum" sent you...

We saw the truck on the internet. We were going to go to Dahlonega to see it, but Brad was at a credit union car sale. Since we belong to the credit union, we asked if there was any way to get the truck down to Gwinnett County. They said they had a couple interested in it that was going to see it Saturday morning, but would get it down for us if the couple didn't buy it. We got a call the next morning saying the couple had cancelled and the truck would be at the car sale by 10:00 am. We saw it and loved it. By bringing it down to the sale he saved us a trip to Dahlonega and since our credit union was giving an additional quarter percent off the already great interest rate for vehicles bought at the sale, he saved us money on the financing.

We bought a car from John Duke last November. We had some problems with the car starting and the first person we call was John Duke. He was not only concerned of our problem, he took action. Not only John came over our house the next day but he brought his own jump starter, jump the car left his own car for us but took our car to the dealership for repairs. Thankfully we with in 400 miles of the warranty our battery was replaced for free. With that kind of service from John Duke, we will always buy a car or truck from John Duke. We saw the on-line ad for a 2012 F-250. Called to verify it was still on the lot. Rick Tew stated that it was in fact still in inventory. We drove to look at it. Rick met us at the truck, introduced himself and we discussed and looked over the vehicle. It was as advertised. We had our trade in truck looked over by the tech's. We discussed prices and said we would call back with a decision in a day or so. Very easy to deal with and I purchased at a fair price. No high pressured, full court sales pitch. In addition, not a lot of haggling on the sales price either (which was a very unique experience compared to all of the other cars I have purchased in the past.) and the salesman honored the price and offer that was listed on the Internet. He also gave me a good trade-in value on my old truck. I have already recommended the dealership to a co-worker who was interested in the CPO 1.9% financing on a Ford Fusion.

He was patient to answer a litany of questions from me as I tried to get comfortable buying a car from several states away. I recently purchased a car from Chestatee Ford. It was the first car that I have purchased from a dealer in over 15 years, why so long? Trust! I had a couple experiences with dealerships that made me turn to saving money and buying cars with cash, Period! So I found the model car i wanted, a Nissan that they happened to have in their inventory. I was skeptical to say the least but I went with the mindset of lets just see what happens. I went with a price range in mind which i was not willing to exceed. When I got there I met Connie, a sales associate. She was understanding of my price range and concerns with buying a car. Well to say the least she put me at ease, temporarily; I was waiting for things to turn bad. I thought no way are they going to get me in this great car for my asking price. 10 or 15 minutes past and they surprised with not only meeting my price but including a warranty as well. I couldn't believe it and I was waiting for the catch. I read over the paperwork carefully and again to my surprise, I was perfectly ok with everything. I got the car I wanted in the price range I gave them and I was excited. Here comes the part that got me thinking, oh no, here we go again. On the way home, my fan stopped working. My fog lights would not turn on and I felt a shake at higher speeds that I didn't feel during my test drive,. There was also a tire pressure light fail sensor that turned on. I thought to myself, I knew it was to good to be true. I called Connie and told her the issues the car had and to my disbelief she said that I should bring the car back so they could look at it. Well, they proved me wrong again by fixing everything but the pesky Tire pressure fail sensor. To their defense they thought they fixed it but it continues which is ok because I have a warranty. They fixed everything else without charging me a penny and without the warranty. They took it all on them and gave me a nice car to drive while mine was fixed. They did everything right and restored a faith in dealerships that I had lost for so many years. I will always remember what everyone at Chestatatee Ford did for me and I will recommend them to everyone I know as well as buy my future cars from them. John is the most amazing sales person I have ever worked with! I am a woman who lives in New York and was visiting my mother in Georgia. I was trying to buy a car (my first ever) for my disabled mother. He went so far out of his way I am still dumbfounded months later. He not only showed compassion, he was a wealth of knowledge and took the time to explain things in a manner that I could understand. I recently purchased a Ford Taurus sedan from Chestatee Ford. I had first contacted them by a link from another site on internet. I saw the car and put in an inquiry. Ms. Stephanie J., of Internet Sales at Chestatee Ford, had an invitation to talk in my email Inbox the very next morning. To be honest, I wasn't actually looking to purchase. I was 'thinking' about getting a newer F150, to replace my '98 Lariat 4x4, and was there doing my "Homework" trying to figure out the differences of the STX, FX4, etc. Picking up brochures, walking around the Lot reading Window Stickers, opening doors, kicking tires, etc. 2 days later, I was driving home in a King Ranch 4x4 and I love it! Never looked back. The funny thing is I remember walking right on past the King Ranch thinking to myself "There's no way, why bother". That's when I met John (Duke). I purchased a 2014 Mustang convertible from John Duke. He was extremely helpful/very knowledgeable about the product and personable-to deal with as well. I probably drove John crazy with my questions about the car but he was able to answer all of my questions without hesitation. He was patient with me during the negotiating process and came through with flying colors! Thankfully we both had email/messaging available as we successfully completed this deal all while I was at my vacation home in Florida. I had been searching for a new F150 for several months looking at various dealerships. Josh Harper was recommended by a former customer of his for outstanding service and he lived up to the promise. After looking for vehicles to fit my needs, wants and price range, I thought it was not going to happen. Josh continued to look for solutions to fit my needs and followed up with me weekly. After finding a truck that he thought met all my requirements he called me to come take a test drive. Chestatee worked hard to get the price within my range and close the deal. Mark Nestler in F&I was helpful as well and was able to secure me a better interest rate than I could get at my local Credit Union. From the time I showed up on the lot until I drove off in my new vehicle was approximately 2 hours. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will be a repeat customer.

I've bought many vehicles over the years but this was my first time doing business with Chestatee Ford and it was awesome. The inventory was extensive which gave me the opportunity to compare options in one location. If you are one of those buyers who enjoys the haggling process when buying a vehicle, you probably should consider other options. It just didn't have that kind of feel to me. The prices were good up front, they had many options to choose from and the service was great. I almost forgot to mention that I have always been a Chevy guy, but Ford seems like a much better product choice these days, at least the trucks in my opinion.

Went there for an oil change and water seperator cleaning,after an hour and and a half and making 1 stop vehicle would not crank easily.Manager tried to say 100000 miles on a diesel engine was the "new" problem with the vehicle not cranking properly.All he was responsible for was the oil change.Keep in mind that upon leaving the first time I was told of how many 32nd of tread remained and for 330 dollars I could have an upgrade on my fuel system diagnostics and they had also changed my battery terminal.Long story short....I went there for an oil change and left there with a cranking problem,Manager said they were only responsible for oil change

I have bought many vehicles over the years of all makes and models and from several different dealerships. Typically buying a car is an experience that I do not look forward to. In most cases I leave feeling like I have been at war all day with people who were out to squeeze out of me every dollar possible. It could not have been more different at Chestatee Ford. The only way I can describe it is that it was like buying a vehicle from a good friend. They were actually looking out for me when it came to interest rates and rebates. The finance manager actually argued with two banks to get me a better rate. They were all very laid back and not once did I feel any pressure from anyone. I was asked what I wanted and that is what they showed me. While all of my options were presented to me, never once did I feel like I needed to read between the lines or look over my shoulder. They must have called ten different dealers to try and get the maximum trade in on my car. I will never buy a vehicle anywhere else. Also, I went back to get a bed cover top installed and the "owner" of the dealership came out to say hello and took my truck back to service himself. When they brought it back 20 minutes later (yes I said 20 minutes) the bed cover was installed and they had even washed the truck again because my tires were dirty. All said, it was unlike any other car buying experience I have ever even heard of let alone had and the prices there were the best I was able to find.

We found the dealership folks to be very friendly, and listened to what we wanted. We were able to purchase a 2014 Ford Escape demonstrator with 3,200 miles on it. We got the color we wanted and the equipment we wanted. We got a deal for factory invoice cost, plus $1,500 rebate, plus 2.6% interest. We have driven the vehicle nearly 2,000 miles in the first 3 weeks of ownership, and have been getting almost 27 mpg in the city and almost 29 mpg on trips. We love the vehicle, we had an enjoyable purchase experience at the dealership, and we highly recommend Chestatee Ford to everyone. Ask for Randy Berry, he is professional and friendly.

Made an appointment with Brent via e-mail, when he became ill and could not meet, Brad stepped in and met me at the appointed time. Brad showed us the vehicle we came to see, arranged a test drive and although it was not exactly what we wanted, Brad went out of the way to find the exact vehicle we wanted but thought was not available at the time. We consummated a deal that I felt was very fair, all the while I never felt pressured by sales. It was a very good buying experience, unlike previous experiences at other dealers.We returned the next day to pick up our new vehicle and Brent greeted us and went into action to explain every component of the features we have on our new vehicle; he must have been a professor in another life. This is our second time buying a new Ford from Chestatee. We were so thrilled 3 years ago with our Flex purchase experience that when we were recently in the market for a Focus, we went directly to Chestatee. We live in Decatur, but we have never visited the dealership. They make the distance insignificant. We met them in Roswell to pick up the car, trade in and sign the paper work. Not counting the drive to Roswell, everything was done over the phone and in 10 total minutes of paperwork. If you know what car you want and what you are ready to pay for your new Ford, don't go anywhere else!

All the staff were very friendly and easy to deal with throughout the entire process. It was the fastest and most relaxed vehicle purchase we have ever made. Andy was fantastic to work with. We pretty much had decided we wanted a 2013 Escape. I love the new body design. After test driving a couple of them I became attached to the 1.6 Ecoboost with the technology package (lots of bells and whistles). Andy was not pushy and did not make us feel pressured. He let us drive what we wanted and then choose the one we wanted. After we completed the sell, he gave us a tour of all the features and got my phone connected. We were both a bit skeptical about buying a car but we were both very surprised about the customer service. We were expecting to be rushed or pressured but our salesman, Gene, was very laid back and never pressed us too hard about what we wanted. We gave him a list of what we wanted in a car and he searched the dealers in the area and found the one for us. I was looking for a new car but wasn't settled on which one. I knew I was interested in the new Explorer but was still open to options. Andy let me test drive the Explorer and we also decided to drive the new Edge. After leaving, I was really impressed with both but the Edge was a little more in my price range. I decided to go look at GMC at Mall of Georgia and wasn't impressed with the vehicle as much as I expected to be and very umipressed with the new sales person they had (he knew about as much as I did from the internet). At this point I went across the street to the Mall of GA Ford to show the Edge to my wife and we had a great sales person there as well but we weren't thrilled with all of the back and forth on price and trade-in value (or lack thereof). After leaving frustrated about the trade-in we went home. A couple of days later Andy let me test drive the Edge for the night and we were sold. We went back and ran some numbers with Andy and after talking for a little while we decided to buy it there even though we had a great offer from Mall of GA as well. I appreciate working with people that I feel like I could go have a drink with afterwards and I felt that way at Chestatee Ford. They really made us feel like family and didn't jerk us around with different types of sales numbers or plans. They will come highly recommended from me.

Entering the Chestatee Ford dealership, Brad Minard was very friendly & welcoming but not overbearing. My husband & I were interested in an Edge that we had found on their website, Brad located with little trouble. Brad check for any and all rebates and discussed several options. His knowledge of the vehicle & all the equipment was very thro. Kip Harvey in the finance department was a joy to work with and also very knowledgeable & very informative. The overall experience was very refreshing. The only thing that would have made it better was if we had of gotten the TV. :)

Based upon an internet search I found a vehicle I was looking for at Chestatee Ford within their inventory. I visited Brian Asherbranner at Chestatee Ford on 11/23/2012. After test driving the vehicle I made the decision to purchase. Once I shared my terms with Brian he crunched the numbers and shared with me that we simply could not make my terms work (I have significant discount opportunities through my employer which leaves no room for negotiation). While disappointed, I was very appreciative of his openness and honesty. Brian offered to help me search for a similar vehicle which may have had more rebates / incentives (2012 instead of 2013). We found a vehicle in Tennessee that could meet my terms. We agreed on a deal and I picked up my vehicle on the following day at Chestatee Ford. They drove to TN to pick it up and return it overnight. There was no pressure from Brian whatsover, simply a level of customer service that I am not accustom to when buying a vehicle. I was never pushed to exceed my terms, pay a little more, sacrifice anything, etc. I owuld highly recommend Chestatee Ford and Brian Asherbranner.

After searching over the inventories of over 100 dealers, Chestatee Ford was the only one who had the Ford C-Max built the way we wanted it. That was a plus because it shows the order person knows what will sell. Andy Conger contacted me within minutes of my letting him know of our interest in the C-Max. After talking with him on the phone, I had a good feeling that I was dealing with an honest man who cared about their customers needs. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet Andy the next morning when we drove to deal for the car due to him having to take care of some personal business. He trusted our care to Randy Berry. Randy, met us outside the door at the dealership and welcomed us with a smile and a handshake after a long 3 1/2 hour drive from Knoxville, TN. Randy genuinely made us feel welcomed. He was very thorough in showing us how the car operated, even though it was near closing time. His figures down to the final cost had no surprises of additional fees. Mark Nestler handled the final paper work leading to the final payment. Being another asset to the dealership he was friendly and personal. He also made us feel welcome. He explained the advantages of the extended warranty. We normally do not buy this but he showed us the value of making this purchase especially with how cars are now so computer operated and how expensive repairs could be. He was not pushy on this subject but did sell us on the value of such a purchase.In summary, I would highly recommend Chestatee Ford along with their personnel. I was given a tour of the Explorers on the lot. We looked for what I wanted and what I did not want in a vehicle. Andy was very helpful and tried very hard to find what I wanted. When I could find what I wanted he offered to order what I wanted. He kept me up to date on the building and the arrival of my new Explorer. When my car arrived he went over everything in detail. He was very helpful in setting up my car, explaining how things worked and pointing out everything I couldn't possibly think to ask about. He also offered to answer any question I may have in the future. He took me to the service department and introduced me to the service desk for future visits. I felt very comfortable with Andy. He is a down to earth guy and I will recommend others to buy a car from him. I hope I don't need another car for a long time. I love my new Explorer. Andy Conger responded to my initial inquiry quickly and worked to find a vehicle of my liking. Unfortunately the vehicle I selected was located at another dealership and was sold before I could take delivery. Andy offer other options and continued to work with me. I never felt that I was being pushed or pressured into anything. Andy listened to what I wanted and I decided on another vehicle in inventory. He continued to work for me after the sale to make sure I was satisfied and always responded to any questions in a timely manner. Also, everyone at the dealership was polite. This is the first time we have had a good experience at an auto dealership. When we bought our Toyota 3 years ago, it took 9 hours and going through the ugliest of sales tactics. This is our first Ford, and I have to say, the great experience we had at Chestatee made a very strong impression on us. The numbers Andy gave us back in June were excellent, and they were still the same when we picked up our new Flex this week. All the discounts that we had found, Andy had already pulled up. There was nothing hidden, flim-flammy or weird about the process, and it was such a relief that we were shocked. As we got in our wonderful new car and drove away, we looked at each other and said, wow, that's how it's supposed to be when you buy a car! I can't recommend them highly enough-they were consistent, friendly and informative throughout the ordering, waiting, and purchasing process.

Andy Conger has been a real pleasure to work with. I had some very negative experiences at some other dealerships, but Andy's friendly attitude and customer service convinced me that if I was going to purchase a vehicle, it would be through him and Chestatee Ford. Most of our interaction was over the phone, but he was always honest and friendly. Andy went out of his way to find the F-150 I wanted and arrange to have it delivered to the dealership. He was very willing to work with me and answer all my questions about trade-ins and financing. While the X-plan price is a fixed price, I know I got a great deal with the rebates included. The financing was upfront and they worked with me to make sure I got the best possible rate. I plan on keeping my F-150 for a very long time, but when it comes time to trade in my wife's Expedition, I already know we'll be buying it from Andy Conger and the great folks at Chestatee Ford.

One of the better car buying experiences I've had. Sorted out the price via a few eMails back and forth. Showed up at the dealership did a test drive, then had my wife do a test drive. Like the vehicle and decided to do a lease. They were very efficient getting the paper work completed and getting us out the door as quickly as possible. The folks at Chestatee were very patient with me as I tried to choose which vehicle I wanted. They understood my husbands time constraints when he came back with me to help me. They expedited everything as well as possible. I think we got a good deal...I love my new car. The only thing I was not happy with was getting a letter 3 weeks later saying I had to go to the tag office to get the tag for my new car. I am not sure why they didnt tell me that while I was there.

Buying a Ford Explorer was the most pleasant experience that I have ever had. Randy is a great guy and was up front and fare with me. Low or no pressure was the only way to describe the sales experience. The fastest purchase of a vehicle that I have ever experienced in my 47 years. The trades that I had I feel I was given fare market value on and I had 2 to trade in. I would say that if you are looking for a Ford or are,in the market for a new car,you would be doing yourself a disservice not to stop buy Chestatee Ford first, even if you had to drive up from Atlanta it would be worth the trip!

Amazing Customer Service!!!! I called in when my car would not start and asked for service and thay were closed and my heart sank. I explained my problem and that they were my mechanics and I was not sure what to do. Mr. Simmons walked me through how to check for a lose battery and then came to me with a jump. He also reset my alarm and did not charge for the sevice. It is so wonderful to know that such nice people work there and I will only trust them with my car.

We went to see a used truck. We did really like the truck and would have bought it. When asked about trade in we let him look at our truck just to get an idea of where we were at. Well Bob had very little to do with the whole deal. He quickly handed us off to some grumpy older guy. After being ignored for awhile he finally came back with outrageous prices. Granted the little Ranger isn't worth much but he went up a hundred dollars on the price of the truck and wanted us to give him ours. There was no joking or making conversation with them. They seemed pissed just to be at work today. We probably would have just bought the truck outright and kept the ranger. But not with these guys!!!!!

So after 11 years of trouble free operation, my venerable kia finally passed away. I found myself in a horrible possition of bieng stranded in dawsonville georgia 1 month into a new job. I entered thier dealership somewhat reluctantlyafter bieng horrified by the selection and price. I was immidiately relieved when it turned out the salesman there was an old aquaintence of mine going back 15 years in this small rural community. I told him what i needed and relized it might be a strech. No money downCredit not near as bad as it could beSomething I could almost afford, of qualityand first and foremost, i needed to drive away in SOMETHING to get to my new job, by 2:00what we decided on was last years model of transit express. While nothing like what i had in mind i really inded up liking the utility and incognito looks of this little van. Surprizingly, this was also cheaper than ANYTHING else on the lot, new or used, at $14995. So we go back to do the paper work. They assure me well be out the door in no timei wait and i wait and i wait and i waitive told these guys several times if there was going to be a huge hold up, i neeeded to go, just keep working on itit turns out they had waited for several big money types to be processed while not touching my papers till the last moment, while assuring me it would be real soon, just a few minutes...then the verdict, to qualify for ford you need to put HALF DOWN on this vehicle. We call it light commercial so no one else will finance it (the vehicle is smaller than most mini vans) .the came the switchWe have a 2002 accord for just $18,999 were confident we can put you in tommarow morning, once we proccess you loan aappthats when things got uglyI was pissed, and let them know, it a surprizingly pollite fasion. They told me it woulod just be best to end this business relationship, and they didnt like my attitude. It wasent so much that they wanted too much, or even that they were hirribly hostile to me, it was that the skrewed me around on my new job, needlessly. If things couldent have been done, they could have just told me from the get go, i would have been on time. So if you have reAlly deep pockets and think that $50,000 is a resonable price for a passenger vehicle, and like bieng verbally abused, chestatee ford is the place for you!
