John is a kick! Buying a used car can be a chore but meeting John, Matt, Ramone and working with them was great. Straight-forward, up-front and very low-key. I bought a 'first-car' for my daughter, a 2015 Subaru Outback, and we were encouraged to test-drive at our leisure, take it to a mechanic, we were even connected with the previous owner. Whatever needed to be comfortable. Highly recommend seeing what they have, speak to John/Matt and you won't have to deal with the whole dealership "smoke & mirrors!"

I discovered this place from a search on CarGurus where I was searching for trucks using "Great Deal" as one of the filters. I drove over and found the truck was in very nice shape with 133k on it. Very Clean. Ran well and rode well. Turned out they had made a mistake on the listing but John told me they would honor the original price for me and they had since correcting the price on the website. There was NO pressure to purchase the vehicle. They put it on a lift so I could check out the bottom. Stuff like, break lines, fuel lines, exhaust, a-frames, bushing, tie rods, gaskets and frame. I felt this truck was not going to last long on the lot and decided to leave a deposit. I knew nothing about Ford engines and he told me to check it out the 4.6L on the internet and if I had any concerns he would issue me a full refund. I had let him know I would be over in couple days to pay him in full. He indicated that they would change the oil/filter and replace pads and rotors. I did check out the 4.6L's reputation that night and also saw the price was in fact $1000 more on their website. I called the next morning and told him I thought the brakes seemed fine but to take some of my deposit money to purchase premium pads and rotors because I assumed they would be installing budget parts. John said not to worry, that they only used premium parts and there would be no extra costs. The truck had only 1 key, but after purchasing, John mailed two sets with a FOB which I took to a hardware store for programming. My experience with Chris Auto South was very pleasant. They are out to make living, not a killing. I believe they are honest so If you are in the market for a used vehicle, check them out you might find what you are looking for. I did.
