I recently had the pleasure of buying a Subaru Forester from Classic Cadillac. I can honestly say that this experience far exceeded any other I have had because of the customer service. Liam Bennett handled all of needs and being that I was a nervous out of state buyer this was a lot. He answered every phone call and e-mail, helped me deal with my bank, even answered a phone call after I had bought and drove off the car about the navigation! He was very professional, yet friendly and accommodating. It didn't stop there however, all of the staff was welcoming, the building clean, and the service quick. I highly recommend Classic Cadillac, and if you can, request Liam!

I first spoke with Eric and John in March 2016 about ordering a 2017 Outback when they became available, and wanted to wait until late summer or early fall. Went for a test drive in a 2016. They did not need to sell me -- already knew what I wanted and why. Spent another 5 minutes laying out my purchase plans: Determine the model and options, the top three dealers in the area get a call saying I can write a check whenever it's ready, and whoever has the best price wins. (Been buying cars this way for 40 years.) In June I noticed on a web site that the 2017's were now being manufactured. I made by three calls. Classic was the clear winner. Ordered the car over the phone; gave them a $500 refundable credit card deposit; picked up the car on 8/17/16. In and out of the dealership with a much need tutorial on the electronics in about 2 hours. One of the most pleasant car purchase experiences in my lifetime. If a Subaru is what you want, just go directly to these folks and not waste your time with the others. Thank you John and Eric.

John made everything about the process enjoyable and easy, which was not an experience I'd had previously as a loyal driver of another make for over a decade. I felt zero pressure to buy on the spot or toward more expensive cars/options. John simply made conversation about my car needs and lifestyle, told me the features on the Crosstrek and Forester I was looking at, and responded to my questions in a clear and open manner. I actually visited on multiple days because I was so stuck on the hyper blue Crosstrek on day one, that I was concerned I'd make a rash decision even though the Crosstrek is a great car. John stayed in touch throughout the week emailing me pricing paperwork, info on my trade-in, and answering other questions I had. After my second test drive on my second visit, I actually decided on the 2016 Forester Limited to meet all the qualifications I had for changing cars. John again made the process easy - getting the papers together for the offer, getting the car ready for my pick up day, and even emailing updated papers over once they had my trade-in payoff info gathered. When I was passed over to someone else for the whole financing portion, that process also went very smoothly and I was not pressured toward buying more expensive warranties, which was again new for me. I was in my new car and leaving the dealership in what felt like no time, and have not regretted my purchase once. The Forester truly is a great car all around. Classic and Subaru have won me over as a Subaru driver for life. I look forward to visiting again when it's time for my first service. If you're just looking for a new Subaru or are someone like me who has never had one before, do yourself a favor and go to Classic. They'll treat you right. Definitely ask for John Rigg. Liam Bennett rode with me on my first test drive. He knew everything about the car and could anticipate my questions and concerns. He offered a suggestion to add leather seats which was the only option I really wanted. Just picked up my Subaru Forester this morning and wanted to thank Robert Hynson for making the purchase a great experience! He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and patient and I felt like he did everything he could to make me comfortable with my decision. Especially because NO drama during the car buying process! We ordered the car in January with ETA of 10-12 weeks, but happily it came in at 9 weeks and appointment today allowed plenty of time to make sure paperwork was correct and to go over all its features! The Forester has great visibility, it's comfortable and has plenty of zip! With the Touring model, I was able to get many upgrades at my price point and I'm delighted with the car and the service! Easy to recommend Robert Hynson and the Subaru team!

I had a great experience at Classic Subaru! I got an 'e-quote' online of a Forester and shortly after Liam contacted me to schedule a time to come in and take a look. I was already pretty sure that was the car for me and it was perfect in person. He was a great Salesman because he wasn't the 'Salesman type'. I told him exactly what I wanted and he didn't push me to upgrade to better models or more features. Also this was my first car buying experience and I'm a female which tends to make Salesmen talk down to you but I didn't feel that way at all. Everyone there just talked to me like a person and it was great experience. I would definitely recommend Classic Subaru.

I walked in at the end of the day to discuss a potential car purchase. I worked with Liam who immediately set out to find the specific model I was interested in. After having a variety of Subaru dealerships compete against each other in making me offers for the vehicle I was looking for, I decided to test out the Costco Auto Purchase Program and see how that worked. I logged in the site, and the only Subaru dealer in my region that Costco had a partnership was Classic Subaru of Atlanta (a two hour drive from my house). Liam Bennett called me, I told him what I wanted, and he quoted me a price that was better than any of the other offers. I like to negotiate, but I knew the price he offered me was fair based on my research. I had a few questions, and his answers were all very thorough. I ordered a new car and had to wait a few weeks for it. Before it came in I sent a long list of extra add-ons, fees, etc., that I did not want to pay if they were to spring them on me when I arrived. Liam sent me a detailed break-down of all the fees associated with the vehicle, and none of the one's I was concerned about were on the list. Essentially, he sent me the itemized contract ahead of time. Very nice, very professional. Then, when the vehicle arrived, we drove to Atlanta and met Liam. Super nice guy. The process was very streamlined no surprises. When Liam took me to the finance guy to pay for the vehicle, I thought: "Here it comes the hard sell for the extended warranty." He basically handed us a sheet that had all the extended warranty plans listed in column format, briefly went over each one, and that was it. When I told him I didn't want any there was no push back. He said if I later decided that I wanted one, I could just call him back anytime before the 3500 mile mark. He also said they could break up the payment of the extended warranties at zero interest. Very professional. Liam then took me to my vehicle, paired my phone with the Starlink system, showed me everything, and then I was on my way. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. I would recommend going to this dealership, even if you live outside of Atlanta. I would also recommend utilizing the Costco Auto Purchase Program.

This was the third Subaru dealership in Atlanta that I walked in. The first dealership played games with me and not the super fun Settlers of Catan type. The second (whom I had previously purchased a subie from) "stalked" me like the last scoop of rice on Survivor. The third, Classic, gave me a "cool, glad you're here, come hang out, we're confident we can help but not cocky and not insecure" kinda vibe. All the other reviews say Classic is professional, I agree, but its more than that, Liam and Eric managed to be professional AND personable at the same time. They are the unicorn of Subaru dealerships in Atlanta and make a great team.

I've never been a big fan of the dealership car buying experience. I've always felt like I had to psyche myself up to do the back and forth haggling just to feel like I got a good deal. That was so far from the experience my husband and I had with Liam, our car rep, and Eric, the General Sales Manager, at Classic Subaru. Not once did we feel pressured, even after test-driving two cars. In fact, we had to tell Liam we wanted to go inside and talk. Once inside Liam and Eric continued with the same "friendly and fair" tone. There was no need to negotiate because they were both focused on making our car buying experience a positive one. In the end, we felt extremely valued as customers and absolutely love our new Subaru Legacy. I'm 100% positive this won't be our last Subaru - it's a great company with great cars and staff who put people first.

I was in the market for a new car this year and had narrowed my choice down to a Subaru Outback 3.6R. Once I knew what I was going to buy, it was time to find a dealer that would negotiate a fare price for the vehicle. I tried four (4) different dealers, two in this state and two in another state. Only one of the dealers weren't willing to come down on the price. This dealer not only was willing to negotiate with the price, but also beat all the other dealer's price by a large margin. I ended up ordering my Outback from Classic Subaru and had to wait less then two months. The car came it early and the sales rep (Kathy) did a great job of keeping me informed about where my car was in the ordering processing. Picking up the car at the dealership was easy, although it did take a while. But the brand and the car was more than worth the wait. The sales rep (Kathy) spent a lot of time we me going over the new features in my car, which was nice. I would definitely recommend Classic Subaru for anyone interested in purchasing a new Subaru.

Kathy was delightful. She was pleasant, open and honest with me. She walked me through the process of building the Outback just the way I wanted, making suggestions and explaining alternatives as we went. From the day I set foot in the door, I was comfortable at Classic Subaru. I came by to look at Outbacks and Crosstreks knowing I wanted one some day. I met Robert Hynson, one of the sales consultants, and he he spent a great deal of time with me. We reviewed my needs and wants for a vehicle, and compared the two models I was interested in. We talked about form, function, engines, drive trains and all the amazing details Subarus have to offer. He was patient with all my questions and especially on the test drives. I never felt any pressure to buy, but I knew when I was ready purchase I would return here. Months later I called and set up the appointment. I decided to order an Outback. It is a complex process for someone who has never done it. When we were done, I felt I understood each item I was selecting as well as what I had not chosen. Smooth as silk. To make things better, the car arrived early. I was able to come the next day and pick up my new car with a great review of all the options I had chosen. I drove out as happy as I could have wanted.Overall it was a great experience. The dealership itself is bright and open. The employees are knowledgable, friendly and take their time with you. Eric Fritsch, the general sale manager, oversees a great group. You can tell the employees love working there, which makes you comfortable right when you walk in the door. I had heard good things about Classic Subaru and they lived up to the reputation.

Liam Bennett asked me about the type of driving I wanted to do with a car. I told him that I wanted to be able to do long distance driving, handle drastic weather changes and the subsequent changes on the road, while feeling safe. Liam then explained the features of the Subaru Forester engine design, the AWD and the exterior extended front view due to the design of the hood - all of which would help me do the type of driving I wanted to do. My wife and I have not purchased a new car in years, but due to the high rating of the Legacy on Consumer Reports decided to look into purchasing one. Liam was helpful in looking through the options and Robert helped us understand the vehicle. Jim was even good when it came to financing. I just bought a Subaru Forester Limited at Classic Subaru of Atlanta and could not have had a better experience! Sales consultant Robert Hynson was awesome: low-keyed and yet knowledgeable; personable and professional. General Sales Manager Eric Fritsch held the Venetian Red Pearl Forester I wanted for an extra day when our family's decision was delayed by my mother's serious medical problem (after they knew we were taking the car), and Jima proud Marine veteranwas great to work with in the finance department. We got a good rate and though the "extras" had to be explained to us, of course, before we signed the papers, we were never pressured at all to take any of them. In fact, the entire experience at Classic Subaru was no-pressure. We were presented with the facts about these great cars, offered test drives, and then given the time and space we needed to make a decision. That shows respect for the customersomething we felt throughout the entire car-buying experience. Robert Hynson has even offered to go over my Forester's basic operating systems and "bells and whistles" again, at my convenience. Thank you, Classic Subaru, for your superb service. You've invested in your customers, and it shows.

Found a few options for car I wanted on line, went to Subaru of Gwinnett first. They didn't have the car I wanted and old me the car was no longer available in the trim I wanted. Went to Classic, was a little futher for me and met Robert. Made the transaction smooth. Moved 4 cars out of the show room so I could test drive. Easy negotiations. Robert was very knowledgeable on the car I was getting and different trim options. Spent the time pairing my phone to car and going over all the little details. Puchased my car in less then two hours. Drove it home that day.

We were in the search for a 2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited. The entire Atlanta area was out of stock. We called Classic to see if they could meet our pricing and Robert Hynson took us from there. He guided us through the entire process of ordering. Everything took place via the phone and email. We never went into the dealership until it was time to get the vehicle. The price we agreed upon was excellent and Robert stayed 100% true to the quote. He kept us in the loop during our 7 week wait and always responded promptly to any questions we could come up with. The day came for us to pick up/pay for the vehicle and there were NO surprise price increases! We paid the exact, to the penny, amount agreed upon at order. Everyone we encountered at Classic was professional and kind. We never felt pushed or taken advantage of. It felt fun and exciting the whole way! We never had to play 'games' with a finance manager (who was quick to accept our "no thank you" to any add on's) or sales manager. We did get to met the Sales Manager Eric Fritsch, but it was only for him to introduce himself and welcome us to the Subaru family. After the sale, Robert spent time teaching us about the car and getting it all set up for us. This was an excellent experience. We will absolutely return to Classic and Robert for our next Subaru.

Our visits with Robert Hynson was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I hate the process of buying a car. Robert made this process a very simple and pleasant experience. He was patient with us and listened to what we were looking for and found us a car that met both my wives and my requirements. Robert was the only sales person at the seven different dealerships we visited that did not pressure us to make a decision and was extremely patient, which was quite an accomplishment with us. The entire time we worked with Robert we felt he was looking out for our best interest and not his. We've never owned a Subaru or even looked at them before but we are now sold on them. Robert helped us find the 2015 Forester that made us both happy. We will definitely be back when we are in the market to replace our other vehicle.

Robert Hynson made what I feared would be a difficult process an easy one. After starting the day at a Subaru dealer south of Classic, I left not unhappy, but not impressed. Afterwards, I was referred to Classic by a friend. Robert greeted me at the door, and per my request, we got down to business. I told him what I was looking for, which was not on the lot. He immediately searched other dealers inventory and included me in the search process. We found a car and he had it the next business day. When we sat down to discuss price, I expected the games to start, but there was no back and forth with an imaginary finance manager, or sales manager. We made a deal quickly and easily. In fact, when I met the Sales Manager (Eric), it was only for him to introduce himself and welcome me to the Subaru family.After the sale, Robert spent time to make sure I was comfortable with all of the features and helped me set up the car. I was so happy I am trying to convince the wife to trade in her car and purchase a CrossTrek from Robert.

We are looking at Outbacks in particular. Liam was the sales rep we've been speaking with. He has been very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process. Many salesman are pressuring, fast-talkers and very overwhelming to deal with. Liam presented as a very honest person, pleasant to talk to, appreciative of our time and was willing to fully explain details of the car as well as the offers. After shopping with my boyfriend for his car last year at other dealers, I was dreading having to go through the process again. I knew I wanted an Outback, and was recommended this dealer by a friend, so we paid a visit. The experience was so far from what we had at other dealers - Robert took us seriously from the first minute, and was extremely straight forward. He helped us choose the best option without overselling, and was honest about the features we didn't need. In the end, we decided to order the car, and did research online about a fair price. Robert and Eric offered us a great deal off the bat based on that research which was a happy surprise! When looking to trade in my car, Eric was honest about what he could offer and helped me recommend how to get the best value for my car even if it wasn't through them. The car came sooner than the original expected date, and although it was a bit later than the updated ETA (due to the manufacturer, not the dealer), Robert kept us up to date and got us into a loaner car until it arrived.Financing was also very smooth, the financing employee (not sure of name) showed us all the options for warranties/plans, but did not make us feel pressured to choose more than we were comfortable with. They got us a great APR - better than my credit union was going to offer.Overall, I would absolutely recommend this dealership. I love my new car - and my boyfriend has already told me he will seriously be considering going with Subaru and Classic for his next car!

Came in about 1 month ago to meet with Herman. My husband & I have been wanting to test drive the Subaru Forester & Outback. My husband did a lot of research and loves the safety ratings on the Forester & Outback. Herman was a great sales rep. He was not pushy and answered all our questions quickly. He seemed to know his stuff when it came to Subarus, When we sat down to talk price we found out this was his second to last day. He was retiring! Eric, manager was very nice and accommodating. We have been very happy with our purchase! The only downside was when I came back for a service. I was told when I scheduled my appointment with one of the financial officers, that a loaner would be available for me. When I came to drop off my car, I was told it would be 30 minutes for Enterprise to bring a loaner since they didn't have any at Subaru or Cadillac. 30 minutes turned into an hour and the person who helped me never came back to check on me. However, a customer service manager for Cadillac did check on me and was very concerned that I was upset. He checked with Enterprise and told me they were 1 1/2 hours behind. He did his best to get me a loaner but by then my service was almost done. So I was at the dealership for 2 hours total. I was upset until I could tell the customer service manager was really trying to help me.

Made an appointment to see Robert to look at the Subaru Outback. He spent a few hours with us looking at both the Forrester and Outback and their features and decided the Outback is what we were looking for. We talked about all the options with no pressure at all from Robert. He explained the pricing, we had some minor, painless, negotiations and the deal was set. The car came in 11 weeks later and Robert spent hours with me going over every little detail of the car. The financing aspect was typical. Kal tried to sell us the extended warranty and other things but it wasn't very high pressure. Figured out what I wanted and shook hands, wrote a check and drove away in my new beautiful Subaru. Would recommend this Subaru dealership in a heartbeat!

If you're in the market for a Subaru, I highly recommend contacting John Rigg at Classic Subaru of Atlanta. John, as well as his manger, Eric, are two of the most honest and helpful people I've encountered when shopping around. It's hard to call them "salesmen" because they honestly felt more like car consultants. I mean, Subarus kinda sell themselves, and that's probably what brought you here in the first place. Being in sales myself, I contacted 6 dealerships about a 2015 Forrester and finally went with John at Classic Subaru. He gave me his personal number and we texted back and forth for days about the details, and he even answered my questions after work hours and on weekends. I found that Classic Subaru had a "no pressure" style of selling. John simply answered all of my questions with honesty and I felt like I could trust him. Other dealerships tried to "schmooze"me or pressure me into buying that very day, which NOONE likes! I chose to go with Classic Subaru because I respected the culture that I felt from them, and also because their prices couldn't be beat. Whether you're buying Chinese food or buying a car, everybody these days does research online beforehand. Most people know exactly what they want before they walk in the door, they just want simple answers to the questions they have, and not to be led off on some tangent that gets them sidetracked. In a sense, the internet has off'd the old car salesman stereotype. With everything being so transparent today, the salesman who is the most honest wins the cake in my personal opinion. If you want honest, to-the-point answers and no beating around the bush, I'd recommend giving John Rigg a call. He's as genuine as they come, a real stand up guy.

My first Subaru purchase process started after I realized my two-door was not going to take me down 'the roads less traveled' for my array of outdoor hobbies. Classic Subaru was the nearest dealer to me, so I decided to drop them an email on their website and wait for the inevitable automated email reply, a subscription to an annoying 'email a day' marketing program, and poor customer service that you can usually expect from a dealer. Instead of getting the usual, I got an email from Robert Hynson that was professional, friendly, and not at all pushy...he wrote it himself - it was not an automated response! He said that if I wanted to stop by and test drive a Subaru that I should just give him a shout. I never expected to be treated like that after just sending an email! I wasn't ready to buy when I test drove what would become my new car, so I took some time to make the decision. Throughout the entire process, Robert wasn't pushy even once. In fact, he let me reach out to him multiple times with questions, all of which were answered truthfully. Robert worked with me over the course of several weeks to arrive at a deal that I felt comfortable with. I met him at the dealership at 5 PM to pick up my new car and drove away at 7 PM. It was a seamless transaction and I can honestly say it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. These guys know their cars, know their customers (their sales guys are outdoors enthusiasts, too), won't push you in to something you aren't comfortable with, and will work with you on your terms. Great dealership and good people. I would have driven well over 100 miles to do business with them. PROS: you work with real people that are concerned about your experience and not just selling high volumes of cars, you don't get blown up with annoying marketing emails, you don't get tricked in to paying for more than you need, and you get a good deal! CONS: None. Just remember that this is a no-frills dealership. While the Classic dealership sells Cadillac right next door, you will be buying a Subaru at the Subaru building. Water/tea/coffee and friendly service is provided for customers - so don't go in expecting them to pop champagne!

Wife and self met with John Rigg, Sales Consultant, on Sat. evening, 9/27/14 to discuss lease of Subaru Impreza 4 DR Sedan. John was very knowledgable and informative without exerting pressure. Wife's test drive experience was very useful, as John continued to comment from the rear seat. On Sun., 9/28 contacted four (4) other Subaru dealers in Metro Atlanta for internet quotes.On Mon., 9/29 only Subaru of Gwinnett responded with a quote for a comparably equipped vehicle; however, pricing was not competitive. Closed on a lease with Eric Fritsch, Dealer Mgr, Classic Suburu on that Monday PM. Concluded business without a hitch that evening, and we drove our new vehicle home by 8:00 PM.The entire experience with Classic Subaru was delightful --- (1) A low-key friendly dealer environment, (2) Plenty of help offered professionally yet cheerfully, (3) Sincere efforts to meet our needs, (4) Trustworthy staff; (5) Presentedthe right vehicle model and trim with desired options

My mom and I came into the dealership a couple weeks ago to look at a Subaru Crosstrek I had found online. Right away we were greeted and got down to business. Robert was very friendly and knowledgeable; he knew the vehicle inside and out. We went on a test drive and I knew it was the one. We sat down and filled out the necessary paperwork and after some butterflies and several signatures I drove out of the dealership a happy guy. Could not have asked for a better "first time buyer" experience. Loving my Crosstrek.

I had the luxury of shopping Subaru dealerships in a number of areas to seek the best deal and experience (due to multiple business trips that had me all over the East Coast and Midwest). Not only did Eric and his team deliver a great (the best in fact) price on the EXACT vehicle I wanted, the did it with no pressure or uncomfortable tactics. His staff (I worked with John Rigg) is excellent and I recommend this dealership to anyone in the Atlanta area and beyond. His was not the closest dealership to my house by a longshot, but it was well worth the effort.

Purchased a 2015 Outback today. Sales person I dealt with was with Robert. A few days ago, I called the dealer and Robert answered the phone. Told him I would like to purchase an Outback and offered him a price I wanted to pay. He told me to wait a few minutes to see if it was possible. After a few minutes, he said it was possible and agreed on the price I offered. Didn't waste my time at all. Robert is a great person to deal with and a valuable asset to Classic Subaru of Atlanta. I highly recommend giving Robert a visit if you would like to purchase a Subaru. If I ever decide to purchase another Subaru, I will ask for Robert again.

I've certainly had my share of cars, makes and models included. I had made my spreadsheet with the items of interest, from bumper to bumper on the eight car models I had chosen. My choice, after driving the eight was the Subaru. The professional courtesy throughout the buying experience at Classic Subaru was outstanding. There was no rush or heavy sales pitch. Eric's team knew their business from the details of the vehicles on the lot to the Subaru Forester I had chosen. I was not familiar and hesitant with the electronic options available on the new cars. The van I traded in was 8 years old. My sons and husband had a great deal of influence on making those choices. Eric's team took the time to thoroughly go through the electronics with me, including another test run. The paper work, thanks to the gov't multiples, ran very smoothly and efficiently. It was the easiest, friendliest car buying experience I have had. Think about it...When was the last time you actually hugged your car dealer?

Subarus (a Crosstrek & an Outback) to our friends (husband, wife & two young children). After months of searching, and a couple of months trying to buy a Subaru from another local dealer, and being given the run around on a deal by said dealer, I switched to Classic. Started with, Eric, but a prior commitment for him had me meeting Robert instead. Robert was easy to get along with as he is straight forward, and wasn't a pushy salesman. Listened to my requests, and never tried to hard sell me anything beyond what I asked for. Took a few weeks for the car that I wanted to come in because it was a 2015, but when it did, Robert and Eric made the buying experience pretty smooth, and hassle free. Robert was very thorough in walking me through the new features of my car, and made sure I did not drive off the lot with any unanswered questions. Highly recommend seeing him if you are interested in a new Subaru, or any car that they have at the Classic dealership.

Robert was awesome to work with. We have never had a Subaru before and didn't know much other than TV ads and some internet research we had done. Car shopping with your 2 year old is not easy, but Robert installed a car seat into the Outback (that we purchased) without us having to ask and we drove that and the Forrester that day. We then went back 2 more times to look at the car and comparison drive them as well. Robert (and Eric, the manager) helped us each time. The pricing was very simple to discuss and we never felt pressured into anything. I will say that dealing with the team after we had a handshake agreement was a little disappointing. The services manager and finance manager both put on the "hard sell" for additional products & warranty so I felt that was a kind of the bait & switch tactic I did not appreciate. While we did opt for an additional warranty, we passed on other offers. Other than the final stages, visiting and doing business with this dealership was great.

I bought my first WRX from Classic in Atlanta 13 years ago. Since then I moved to Knoxville, TN, but when I decided to buy a new 2015 WRX, Classic was the only dealership that I considered. The purchasing process was quick, friendly and professional. . I have only had the car for a couple of weeks, but it really is amazing. Outstanding performance, but practical enough to be a sensible daily driver. Drivin reasonably, I can get well over 30 MPG on the highway, but when you are ready to move, the WRX doesn't disappoint.Do yourself a favor, go test drive the new WRX. It was well worth the trip to Atlanta to get the right price and buy from great people. Thanks Mike and Eric. Robert Hynson and Eric Fritsch sold me my Subaru Forester. I am a Grandmother who recently was hit by a DUI driver, totaling my car and leaving me with some health concerns. So, when I went into look at the Subaru Forester, I was still a bit shaken. Robert and Eric were kind beyond belief. They worked diligently with me on pricing, as they could see my bright eyes light up when test driving the Forester. Their knowledge of the Forester could be a textbook in itself. I had previously looked at a Honda, and was given the cursory information. I was really blown away by the depth of knowledge and love Robert and Eric showed for the Subaru Forester. After their demonstration and explanation of the safety points, I was very determined on a school teacher's salary, to somehow purchase the Forester. They worked with me and came up with a figure I could manage. And then....after I purchased the car, Robert spent hours again with me going over the fine points of the car. He patiently waited while I demonstrated to him that I understood the finer working of the car. I think what we really impressed me was the genuiness of his kindness. He patiently continued instructing me for hours, never questioning the time. He seemed to just want to know for sure that I understood the Forester and would be comfortable driving it. He sensed my apprehension after having an accident, and did everything to calm my fears.And then....to top it off, he set my Bluetooth up. I had no idea what BlueTooth is, or how it worked. He patiently instructed and then watched me as I correctly put in all the imporant telephone numbers and information. Experiences like this are a rarity and much treasured. Please, if you are considering a Subaru contact ROBERT HYNSON and ERIC FRITSCH. It will restore your faith in car salesmen and in people in general.

Subaru dealership located two miles from us, were more concerned about a sale than their guests. That dealership was the epitome of what everyone fears when purchasing a vehicle. I then communicated with John Rigg through email before we drove sixteen miles to Classic Subaru. We dreaded walking into another dealership, but John was prepared for our arrival, very calm, no pressure, and answered all our questions. Eric, the new car manager, also introduced himself and was just as wonderful. Classic Subaru was everything we wanted in a car buying experience. A few days later and several emails exchanged, we purchased my vehicle. When we picked up my 2014 Subaru Outback Special Appearance Package, Eric entertained my husband while John explained in more detail all the features. Other car manufactures dealerships left a very bad taste in my mouth after dealing with them, which is why I didn't buy a car from them. After 2 days of dealing with Robert Hynson I knew i was going to end up getting a Subaru from him. His experience and willingness to find answers for me was very refreshing. He did not once try to get me into a car i didn't want and he worked very hard to find the exact car i requested. When other dealerships has trouble finding the car i wanted they would try to persuade me into a car with features i didn't want or need just to get their sale. It seemed like every questions I asked went over his head and he answered with another statement about himself or his Jeep, I don't think he knows he sells Subaru. We had an amazing experience from the moment we entered the showroom. Everyone was warm, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and patient(we had many questions). We leased a Subaru Forester. This car has many bells and whistles that we haven't had on past cars. When we picked up our car, Robert spent several hours with us going over everything we needed to know about the car. He helped us with the rearview mirror navigation system, the Bluetooth and much more. He offered help to us anytime we might have a question. We felt that both Robert & Eric showed great concern that we should be happy and satisfied with our choices. We felt we had made two new friends by the time we drove away in our car. Sooooo today, Robert and I arranged time when I could get some more help. He spent time helping me understand more about Bluetooth and how to program the phone. He also helped with the navigations system. I am confident, that I can always get my questions answered, and that's a good feeling.

I never ever felt pressured or like they were trying to use any "techniques" on me. And when I say that, I have a degree in psychology and kind of enjoy "the game," but either these guys are genuine Jedi masters, or (more likely) they are courteous, professional guys selling an awesome brand of car. Herman's been at this dealership for 15 years, John drove the exact car we were buying and Eric has a Forester with 250,000 miles on it that sits in the showroom so you can see how amazing it still looks. They love Subarus and they quickly made me into a believer. They worked with us and within our budget to get an incredible car- the XV Crosstrek. My husband and I purchased our first new car here a few weeks ago. It is a gorgeous XV Crosstrek. To say that the staff was helpful would be a grave understatement. I am the type person who has to know every tiny detail, every charge down to the penny, every safety feature, etc. etc. We made about 5 trips in and out of this dealership and 3 others, thinking about which car to get, which features, what we could afford, etc. Anyone who has ever purchased a car can tell you, it is mentally and emotionally draining. However, the staff at Classic Subaru of Atlanta, namely Herman, Eric and John were incredible. They patiently answered all my questions, diligently called me back, worked within our budget to get us the car we really wanted even when we flip flopped our choices again and again. Honestly, they got us way MORE car than we realized we could get and still stayed within our budget. I was shocked we could afford a subaru, not to mention one with as many upgrades as we left with. They were kind, courteous and I never once felt that "car salesman" pressure from any of them. John owed the car himself and was quick to tell me his favorite and least favorite things about it. Herman's been working at that dealership for 15 years and Eric owns a Forester that's got almost 250,000 miles on it and sits on the showroom floor to show you what amazing condition it is still in. To say these guys stand behind their brand is absolute. They showed us why they loved Subaru and it really did make me see the value in it and really fall head over heels for our car. If I could tell you how many people have told me how jealous they are of our new car you'd laugh. Its basically everyone we know. But honestly, the best part of the whole experience was the security I feel in really, truly getting an amazing car at an amazing price.

However, when I got there I immediately felt comfortable. John greeted me and offered to let me test drive a car while they looked at mine. On our initial search for a Subaru Outback we went to Subaru of Kennnesaw first. Did not have a great experience there so we decided to try Classic Subaru even though we thought their inventory would be smaller. Turned out that despite that, they had the ability to try and locate our choice of vehicle from other dealerships within a 200 mile radius which Subaru of Kennesaw never offered. I recently purchased a new XV Crosstrek from Subaru of Atlanta and my experience was great. This was the first time I've ever purchased a new car and I was extremely nervous. The staff was very nice and made me feel comfortable throughout my experience. I love my new car and am happy that I now own a Subaru, especially from this dealership. Unfortunately I damaged my rims already on a curb and had to bring the car in to get serviced. I was pleased to find that servicing my vehicle at Subaru of Atlanta was a positive experience as well. While I was shopping for my new car I visited several other dealerships and these guys were more professional and friendly than all the others, by far. I got out-the-door bids by email from 7 dealers for a particular Subaru Forester to be ordered from Japan. Classic was the low bidder. (That doesn't mean, of course, that you will get a low price if you walk in there and attempt to negotiate with them.)When we went to pick up the car, they tried to sell us a long list of worthless or overpriced services and accessories, like extended warranties and service contracts, and a $500 car wax job. But it wasn't really a hard sell and they accepted our "no" to everything. I gave them a check for the price they had quoted in the email and we drove away. Clark Howard on the radio says to never go into a dealership except to pick up the car you have bought over the internet, and that is what we did.

We never thought of buying a Subaru but we are glad we did! One Saturday after running errands we passed by the dealership and met Robert. He offered us to test drive the new Forrester and we never looked back. We had been shopping around for a car for a year and half. What I like about Robert the most is his personality. He is very personable but not over the top. Some of the other dealerships try too hard and it doesnt seem sincere. We didnt get that from Robert. Also his knowledge about cars is overwhelming. The guy knows his stuff and he very aware what other makes and models have and dont have. Very impressive!Robert never pressured us and listened to our needs and requests. I contacted Robert over the phone and we were able to find a price we were both comfortable with. Robert was easy to deal with, very straight forward communication. I need lots of detail to be comfortable with such a large purchase and he was happy to provide enough info to make me comfortable. Went in just to test drive the Forester and compare with the other suv's that I was considering and I was totally blown away! I had no idea Subaru offered so much! My Sales Consultant John Rigg was GREAT! My husband and I were amazed that he only gave us the information that we wanted and nothing more! He answered our questions, and even knew what the other cars offered that we were looking at and why the Subaru was better! He is Right! This is my first Subaru and it will NOT be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike Mizzi, who is very patient, friendly, knowledgeable, cool, and low pressure. I traded in a 2001 Saab 9-5 wagon for my first Subaru (an Outback). Mike was easily able to compare the 2 vehicles and point out all the similarities and differences. Let me start by thanking Classic Subaru, Herman Jones and Eric Fritsch for the best and most professional car buying experience I have ever had. Having purchased many cars through the years, I have never thought of a repeat purchase until now. Thank you for making car buying just that pleasant and easy. I visited and priced vehicles at three (3) other dealerships in the Atlanta area. One dealership insulted my intelligence (yes, women can do math), another dealership had no sense of urgency (yes, I would like to buy a car today not next week) and a final dealership wanted to argue with me about my own financing (yes, my 1.9% is less than your 2.9%, it does not matter the term length.) Subaru buyers are not the norm and neither is the car. As this car sells itself, I would encourage all other dealers and dealerships to get out of the way and let the car do what you did not. And, if you want a true Subaru buying experiece, I encourage you to call or visit Classic Subaru.

I live in Savannah and was looking for a Crosstrek. I began negotiating with about a dozen dealerships within 250 miles of my house and was able to reach a deal with Mike Mizzi that I was comfortable with. Negotiations with Mike were professional and pleasant; there was never a hard sales pitch, just an effort to see if we get to numbers that would make a deal work out. After we had made a deal on an out-the-door price, Mike sent an e-mail confirming the price with a breakdown of how the out-the-door price was calculated so that when I picked up the car and signed the paperwork there would be no surprises. We drove from Savannah to Atlanta 4 days later and picked up the car and filled out the paperwork. There were no surprises, the pickup was easy, and the experience was very good. When I buy my next Subaru, I will definitely contact Mike first. My purchase from this dealership differed from past car purchases in that there was never a hard sales pitch made and there was never an attempt to add in any hidden fees. In short, it was an easy, honest transaction.

Top notch customer service! My salesman Herman greeted me shortly after I entered the showroom and made me feel comfortable by asking me questions about what I wanted, not telling me what he thought I needed. He took his time explaining things about the options and he knew the cars/features he was recommending very well. Eric, the GM, made time in his busy afternoon to come talk with me and added value to my experience. I visited 3 other car maker dealerships that afternoon but Subaru of Atlanta earned my business.

I purchased a new Subaru Outback to replace my old 1997 Outback from Robert Hynson. I enjoyed working with Robert on the purchase. He was never too "pushy" and took lots of time with me on two test drives. I had narrowed my new car purchase down to two options, the other being a Mazda CX5, but decided to go with the Subaru. as it is a car I had loved to drive for 16 years, and it just felt right for me. This was my first Internet car buying experience. Robert Hynson promptly responded to my inquiry, which was followed up by Eric Fritsch, the General Manager. I found this dealership to be "very" competitive when compared to the other three Subaru dealers that I had contacted. After driving the 150 miles from our home in North Carolina, everything that we had discussed and agreed to via email and by phone was exactly what happened in closing the deal. "How refreshing!"Because of the distance, Mia, our golden doodle traveled with us. Mr. Hynson had a water dish, treats, and a resting place waiting for her. The atmosphere at this dealership is different from anything that we had experienced in the past. Everyone we encountered, regardless of their position, seemed to be happy working there. Our experience and observation of Eric was that he was supportive of his staff, never intrusive, and friendly in his approach to us personally, as well as his treatment of his staff.Purchasing a vehicle can be a frustrating experience, especially for seniors. We "almost " can say that we enjoyed it. Since the purchase of our 2013 Subaru Outback, we have recommended this dealership and our salesman, Robert, to our friends and neighbors who have admired our new car. In conclusion, very few salesmen do a follow up after you leave the dealership. So far we have had three calls, one to make sure we got back safely, another weeks later, to see if we had any questions about the car, and the last one to check to see if we had received our Florida registration. I had an excellent car buying experience with the Classic team. I never felt pressured at all. I mostly worked with Robert who did a great job managing the process. He also seems to know a lot about cars in general so I appreciated his knowledge sharing about cars and trucks as we discussed the many options on the road today. I also spoke with Eric a lot and I valued that he was part of the process to ensure I was a satisfied customer. The team was respectful and professional at all times during our negotiations. Eric has really built his team to build "customers for life". I kept changing my mind about the car, the color of the car and the timing of my purchase and they were super patient and respectful of my decision and my time. I never felt rushed into making a decision. When we were playing with the electronic gadgets and we ran into a snag, they grabbed Herman to come lend his expertise and he was super friendly and patient in helping me. I financed the car through Subaru and I was pleased (and a little surprised) that after they presented my options (for vehicle assessories & add on warranties) they did not badger me at all when I declined. I was very, very happy with my entire car buying process from start to finish. I would highly recommend Classic! Working with Eric and Robert was a very refreshing experience.

My husband and I just purchased our first Subaru. We went to the dealership knowing exactly which car we wanted (we'd seen it online) but not wanting to purchase face to face. We wanted to check out the vehicle to make sure it was exactly what we saw online and then purchase online or over the phone. We had a not-so-wonderful experience last time we purchased a car and did not want to deal with the "pressure" situation that most dealers put you in. We walked in and told the manager exactly what we wanted and he took us in the office and laid out the numbers for us. There was no pressure and it only took about 10 minutes. We were so happy with the way we were treated. They did not want to sell us a car unless we were totally comfortable with the experience. There was no pressure, just honest, helpful people. It was so refreshing! Needless to say, we went ahead and purchased the car at the dealership because of the way we were treated. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a car. We will definitely be lifetime customers.

My partner and I went looking for a used Subaru to add to our family of Subaru's. Months ago I was in a car accident, in my old subaru 2005 Outback Impreza, totaled out :( The car saved my neck I have no doubt. I'll be a subaru owner for life. So I purchased a new 2012 Forrester to replace my total. My partners car needed replacing so we shopped around and around ( she's a touch obsessive on research ) Classic had a used forrester we test drove. We drove up to another dealership just to be sure Classic had the vehicle we wanted. The price was a bit higher. But the customer service really made us feel welcomed. We felt like family, one of the employees even joked we should be put on the payroll. HAClassic is not closest to our home, but we will not hesitate to recommend these guys because of the friendly service and the speed of the service dept. We love those guys!

Everyone we met with at Classic Subaru was exceptionally knowledgable regarding their product, and it truly seemed as if they are personally convinced of the superiority of Subaru vehicles. Although they obviously had an interest in selling us a car, no one applied too much pressure or came across as overbearing. Robert Hynson, our primary salesperson, was particularly likable and easy to work with. When it came time to purchase our white 2013 Outback Premium, all preparations were textbook and the "check-out" process was efficient. Once we decided on a 2014 Forester, Mr. Jones began a regional search for the total Subaru package that we wanted. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase! He made the total experience positive. The General Sales Manager, Mr. Eric Fritsch, introduced himself and welcomed us to Classic Subaru. Mr. Fritsch has answered my questions and concerns since our purchase. My wife and I highly recommend Classic Subaru. I have experienced a much different approach while car shopping in the past at other dealerships. I prefer the "family centered" approach of Mr. Jones and Mr. Fritsch. In conclusion, Mr. Jones located the 2014 Subaru we requested. We love the car. It is a good feeling to know that when we return for service or call to have a question about our new Subaru answered, that we will be assisted by two gentlemen who share our value of treating others like they would like to be treated.

When writing about my experience with Classic Cadillac, actually the Subaru part of the dealership, it is better to tell you what not to expect. You won't have people hounding you as soon as you get on the lot. You won't have people calling you 2-3 times a day asking you to come back in because they will give you special, "Internet Pricing."You won't have people who are completely unknowledgeable about the cars trying to sell you one just so they can put another notch on their belt.You won't have people try to bully you into agreeing to their garbage price that is $2000 above MSRP (Cobb County Toyota...)And most of all, you won't have people try to talk down to you just because you want to be able to actually do your own maintenance. While the first two problems can come from most car dealerships, the last ones are the items that really get to me. Heres my story, I promise I will try to keep it short. On April 1, yes april fools day, the engine in the car that I have had for the past 5 years starts knocking and I figure it's just a matter of time so my fiance and I decide it's time to go car shopping. I have been fond of subarus ever since I drove a buddies years ago, and my priority is to keep her safe so the first place we go is to Kennesaw Subaru, since it's only 4 miles from the house. We arrive on the lot and after looking around for 20 min. or so we go inside where the receptionist refers us to a financing gentleman who was friendly, however wasn't knowledgeable about the 2014 forester that had just come out. No problem, he then referred us to Art, the only salesperson there who had been running down every person who was 40 and above in the lot. I guess being well dressed in your late 20's doesn't really account for anything these days. I was willing to look past that until he himself was unable to answer any of my questions about the forester as well as he seemed to downplay maintenance on the vehicle. I am by no means a mechanic, however I have worked on every one of my vehicles, last week I put a new head gasket in an old truck, so when I ask what is the easiest way to change the spark plugs and you give me a, "Well I bet you're just a shade tree mechanic. I had a lot of friends in high school that said they could fix cars for a six pack and weekend, however it's best to leave it to the professionals...." I don't plan on pulling the engine, however having the ability to do routine maintenance on any car I drive is important, especially when the engineers and smart and considerate enough to design for it. Well we get inside to talk to him and he seems more concerned that it's after closing time until he ask about where we work and I tell him I'm an engineer. I guess that made dollar signs pop up in his head so he wanted to sit down and run some numbers. Throw out all those things and try to give him a fair chance, after all the car did drive really well, and he is figuring up some kind of price and the number he throws out to me is $3000 above MSRP! I ask him about it and he blatantly lies to me, then I refer him to the pamphlet he has pined to the wall and you just see his eye twitch, yes I have 20/10 vision and I can read the small print that far away. He stutters and catches himself then starts well you have a dealer fee and fees to get it here, then you have all the accessories... ohh yeah and part of the tax is added into that. Needless to say I almost counted subaru out, however my fiance loved the way the forester drove and the safety is second to none so we gave classic subaru a shot.The differences were mind blowing. Classic Subaru was over a 30 min drive from the house so I just look at their inventory and I find out they have a turbo version, which was one of my only complaints about the forester, funny how I never heard anything about it from the other place. I send an email out and was responded to by Eric the General Manager. Not only was he knowledgeable, he wasn't pushy, overbearing or a jerk like I had experienced elsewhere in the car search. Well after trading emails back and forth, my fiance and I decide to make the trip and when we arrive Eric introduces us to Mike, who ended up being our sales consultant. While on the test drive, every single one of my questions about the subaru were answered correctly and honestly. Mike wasn't trying to push us into a car that we didn't want, and listened to every concern we had. We went back and forth for the next month as we test drove other cars, rav4s, escapes, rouges... you name it we drove it. The problem we kept coming back to was every car we kept comparing to the subaru. Every time we came back to Classic Subaru we were never treated rudely, told to come back when we were serious or anything in that nature. Not only was it the friendliest car dealership we visited, but also the most knowledgeable. We ended up ordering a forester that is exactly the way we wanted it and got a great deal, well under the truecar price. Do yourself a favor and don't waste time going around to other dealerships, especially anything in kennesaw. While it might be close, my experience was most of them are just jerks for a lack of a better term. I have been extremely satisfied with Classic Subaru and hope to do business with them again one day.

The overall experience with Subaru of Atlanta was great, right from the initial email I sent inquiring about price. I had a prompt reply without the "sales process". I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend and they were very straight-forward. I went in to check out the Impreza and right away felt at ease and not pressured. My purchase of a 2013 Subaru Impreza Hatchback was by far, the best experience of any of the dealerships here in the Atlanta area. Eric was the easiest to work with, to negotiate a deal over the phone, almost all by text and email, so I literally came in the next day, signed the documents and drove away the car. They're aggressiveness on price-point matched or beat out all of the competitors in the area, and his personal touch in ensuring that the deal was fair and got done right away made this the best place for me to buy my next car. Hats off to Eric and the whole team at Subaru of Atlanta / Classic Subaru! I would recommend this place all day long for purchasing a Subaru-hands down!

We arrived very late to the dealership and both (patiently) stayed extremely late to make sure we were taken care of, and were happy with our purchase. They answered all of our questions, gave us a lot of good information and made the sale as low pressure as is possible. I would highly recommend that you should not only buy a Subaru, (which you should) but that you should buy it from them, even if they aren't the closest Subaru dealership to you.

My wife and I began looking for a car early last year and were very put off by the old Sales Manager, Jay. I left a negative review on Google as he had a very old school style, e.g., "are you going to buy it or not?" giving us a hard time about test driving, etc., which in this day and age with the economy as it was is completely unacceptable. Mike Mizzi was the sales person we were working with from the beginning and he left a message a few months after our less than positive experience, welcoming us to return and encouraging us to keep the door open, so to speak. We were reluctant but eventually returned and purchased a vehicle from Mike. Jay left shortly after and was replaced by Eric, who my wife and I later met one evening when we came in late to look at a vehicle. I can honestly say that the difference between Jay and Eric is incredible. It's one thing to give a customer a positive experience when you're starting from neutral, with no exposure to the customer. It's a whole different story to take a customer who has already had a negative experience and is reluctant and turn it into an extremely positive one.If you're on the fence about this dealership because of the shortcomings of the previous Sales Manager on the Subaru side of the house, don't take my word for it. I wouldn't if I were you. You don't know me and this is the internet, after all.What I would do, and what I would encourage you to do, is spend 30-60 seconds from the time you meet the new Sales Manager and pay attention to how you're treated. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

I visited Classic Subaru to test-drive the Subaru Outback. I was not certain I liked it at first because it seemed a little smaller than what I was used to driving, but after seeing a couple of different ones and comparing available options/packages, hearing about the safety features, gas mileage, etc. I ended up loving the vehicle. Mr. Fritsch and Ms. Richardson-Mack were completely helpful and offered a buying experience I have never witnessed in all the years I've been buying cars! There was no high-pressure sales pitch, they were very respectful, helpful, and knowledgable. It was nice to be treated the way we were during this purchase as opposed to the traditional small town dealerships I have been used to in the past, which consisted of high pressure and a sole focus on making the sale. Classic Subaru looks out for their customer before the sale, during, and after which is very important when looking for a vehicle to keep long-term. The vehicle has impressed me very much -- the comfort is amazing as I drive about 80 miles per day for my job, the gas mileage is incredible (it is averaging between 26-29 mpg) (the only vehicle i have ever purchased that gets what the sticker advertises and what the salespeople tell you, as opposed to less). I feel very safe in the car and am overall pleased 100%. THANK YOU!

I have owned Subaru cars in the past, but my last car was not a Subaru. Even though the last car I owned was a good car and served my needs well, I was constantly comparing it to my previous car, a Subaru Outback. I saw an ad for the new Cross trek and test drove it at another dealership before deciding that it was not a good fit for me. The positive here was that I realized I was ready to get back to an Outback. I started doing some internet research and found the Outback I wanted as an internet special at Atlanta Classic for an awesome deal. Even though this is not an ideal location for me, the friendliness and knowledge of the staff was as much of a selling point as the car. Since I had come to Atlanta Classic for service with my last Outback, it was an easy decision to return. Everyone at Atlanta Classic that I have come in contact with has gone out of their way to be sure that I am satisfied and comfortable and that any questions/concerns that I might have are quickly addressed and resolved.Trina, my salesperson, was extremely helpful and friendly and made the whole experience for me effortless and smooth.
