The experience was the best. Salesman Brian Sheldon worked hard to get my husband a great deal and did research to find him what he was looking for. Seems it might have taken the finance dept a little longer to get things completed; we were there for hours. Everyone was super nice.

Great staff that is willing to go that extra mile to help you. Bill in financing is awesome, he has a great life story and I enjoyed listening to it. Justin is the service department is outstanding. Him and Bill took great care of me and I recommend them for all your needs. The maintenance team there fixed my truck the right way and it runs great. All the sales staff here don't pressure you to buy a car. They let you do your looking and when your ready to talk, it's like magic. They do what they can to make your day satisfying.

Service department is terrible...stay away! I made an appointment to bring my Toyota in to have my brakes checked and, if need be, serviced. During this call, I was informed that the entire service would be completed in several hours. Appointment was at 12 Noon. Upon my showing up exactly on time, service “tech” told me that she will get back to me within an hour about an estimate. I dropped off my car and had a friend give me a ride home while I waited. Three hours later... no call. I then called my “tech” to see what was going on. Of course, she was unavailable, so I left a message. Another hour.. no call. I called again. This time, “tech” was ‘in a meeting’. I then called the front desk, they put me on hold, then after about a 20 minute wait, the front desk receptionist told me that they were waiting for brake pads and car would not be ready until the following day. Forget it; I told them to just put everything back together, do no servicing, and I will pick up my car immediately. I refused to pay any fees as well. Complete waste of a day. The “tech” that I dealt with was lazy, arrogant, rude, and totally inept.Take your business elsewhere; have your car serviced at a different auto mechanic and buy your vehicles at any other dealer than this place.

It was finally time to replace the GREEN BEAST (Ford Explorer)! My family, and I have search the internet for a small compact SUV for over a month or so. We came across A used 2013 Ford Escape that was priced very aggressive for selling, and fell within our budget. So we called into the dealership to find out if the vehicle was still available. The sales consultant Evette, said Yes it was! We book an appt. with her for the following morning first thing. Evette had the vehicle ready for us to test drive when we got there. Evette went over every feature that the car had! We were extremely impressed with her knowledge of the vehicle. Evette was a true professional, and made this a very easy decision for us purchase this vehicle without once being pushy! Long story short, we like the vehicle and made an offer for purchase. Travis the sales manager came over and was extremely nice. We all agreed on the price. Sold! Mark the finance director fought to get the best interest rate out there in the market. The entire process was 3 hours. Completely satisfied with total experience!

I went to buy 2015 Sienna XLE car with this dealer based on the quote Mr Adam Teate sent through True Car. Before I go there I called him three times to ensure the car and availability. He promised me he will get one for me. Before I start form my home I called this person and told him clearly about the model and color of the Car I am looking for. He said please visit his dealer to test drive and order for me.When I went there I met Adam and he told different sales person will help me to complete the sale.They came up $5000 more than what they honored before I go there. I have emails and TrueCar quote which this dealer gave. When I called him and asked about what we have discussed via email and phone no word from him and they started arguments with me. Their argument was the quote is not sent by them rather its from TrueCar. They said talk to TrueCar representative. Please don't trust even though it's written on the paper.

Your collision center does half xxx work. They do not do the repairs as they say and bill for. We are so dissatisfied now that I want to trade this car. Your completion was horrid too. I was promised 3 days but you ended up with my car for 7 days I didn't receive a rental car either and now having to make a 2nd trip to your shop for you guys to redo some of the repairs to be done to the car. The hood had nicks from day 1 at the dealer and your repair was putting finger nail polish to cover. Wendell Bowers

We purchased our first Toyota on 5/30/15 from Eli Adames. He was extremely knowledgeable on the various options for used cars that were on the lot and told us the facts instead of pushing the most expensive car on the lot. He made sure our vehicle met our needs for the right price and was very helpful throughout the process. The car we purchased came with one programmable key and he was able to procure an additional key at no charge to us. I would recommend him to any and all in the market for a new or used car.

I recently purchased a 2015 Toyota Avalon from Cloninger Ford Toyota Scion in Salisbury, NC. The 2015 Avalon is the fifth new Toyota vehicle that I have purchased in the last eight years and I can say without hesitation that this purchase experience has been the best that I have had to date. As USAA member my surrounding area dealerships were unable or unwilling to find a 2014 Avalon that that met my particular requirements. I contacted Cloninger Ford Toyota Scion, after doing some web searching on my own, to inquire about a vehicle in their inventory that met my requirements. I talked to Tamara Martin the Internet Sales Manager, who assured me that although the car I was originally calling about did not meet my requirements that she would find one that did. Tamaras tenacity and customer dedication led to her tracking down a 2015 Avalon that was in transit that did meet my requirements. Tamaras sincerity and commitment exceeded every expectation I had for a car buying experience. Shawn Belcher, Lead Sales Consultant, was also instrumental in the purchase of my 2015 Avalon. Shawn went above and beyond normal customer service expectations by offering to bring the 2015 Avalon to my residence, over two hours away, so that I would not have to travel that distance with my two small children. I have never even heard of buying a new car while sitting at your own dining room table, but Shawn has forever altered my metrics of a positive car buying experience. In summation, I will recommend Cloninger Ford Toyota Scion and in particular Tamara Martin, Shawn Belcher, and Don Kiley to friends and family when looking to purchase a new vehicle. I came in for a set of tires. First, they advertise the ability to match competition pricing but after checking on three different types of tire the could not match the competitor's price on any of them. I should have left right then and saved the money, but I had a terrible experience with this particular competitor a few months ago with another vehicle so I wanted to stick with the dealer. After a good deal of tooth pulling they finally narrowed the price gap from $50 to $20, but when you say you'll match, you should match. Ok, so I bought the tires and saw myself to the waiting area for what should have been a half hour job. Two and a half hours later, I'm still sitting here, waiting to get my car back. Thank God I didn't have to work today.

I was screwed over by Cloninger on a free set of tires. More or less they scammed me. After that i never went back to their dealership. The manager and owner know they screwed me but wouldnt do anything about it. Now I take my truck to Hendrick toyota in Concord. Hendrick is lot more honest and even apply discounts when they dont have to. Also after relating my story to many people other people have agreed about their scams. Even a policeman told me not to go there. Do not deal with Cloninger they are scammers. I am wondering how others have given these guys good reviews unless Cloningers have turned their lives over to Jesus and i would doubt that.

I went to several dealerships looking for what I was comfortable with buying..finally I went to Cloninger Toyota. I met Shawn Blecher and he started right away looking for what my wants we're..I was only there a short amount of time and he found me something for me..he was so knowledgable about the vehicle. shawn knew the vehicle that I purchased very well and showed us all the features on the vehicle. he was very friendly as well as the gentleman that did all the paperwork. shawn also synced my phone and demoed how to set the radio channels and all of the other features in the radio, like the weather and traffic info. overall a good experience purchasing a new vehicle.

Bought a used Jeep and was told it had a premium sound system ! Radio does not work and did not work the night we brought the jeep home .We have had the jeep 3 days !! Dealer telling us they will split cost to repair or we can have a radio and install it ourselves !Now they are sending us to another company to do a diagnostics on the radio . Very poor customer service . Not very nice to us either .

Eli was wonderful, friendly, and sincere. We didn't feel pushed into any deals and he went out of his way to work with us. We arrived thirty minutes before closing time and he was eager and available to help us. We loved his personality and appreciated him taking time away from his personal life to meet our needs. We didn't get out of the dealership until midnight, but he didn't seem bothered in the slightest. We will absolutely do business in the future with Cloninger Toyota.

Shawn was awesome from the start to the end. It all started off with a phone call a few weeks ago and he would always great with a smile on his face. I could tell through the tone of his voice. I had already talked to one other dealership because it was closer to home and they could not work a deal for me. As always Shawn would call to follow up on me to see how things were going and if I purchased my car. I told him no and the reason was how much i was upside down in my current car. He told me well lets see what I can do. Then guess what? He made it happen and I am a proud owner of a 2013 Sienna. Thank you so much Shawn and Cloninger for working with me. I went into try and buy a newer used car. Shawn Belcher the care salesman worked with me to get a brand new car instead. He explained to me the difference purchasing between a new car, and a newer used car, and financing. I explained about my credit not being the greatest. He along with the dealership worked with me to get approved for a car loan. The level of professionalism was outstanding. The service area was clean. Very professional staff in trying to get me a schedule time to get an oil change. Staff interact well together despite being short staff on the the day I was there when I purchased my new car. The payment amount was close to what I wanted to pay monthly.

2013 Tacoma. Shawn Belcher and Lia Corradetti got me the right truck at the right price at Cloninger Toyota. I had spent a lot of time at other dealerships and after getting "the best" price from them, I contacted Shawn. His OTD quote was hundreds less than the other guys best. All done with a coulple calls and texts , I only went to the lot to pick up my truck. Highly recomended.

My wife and I purchased a 2013 Rav 4 from Cloninger Toyota. The suv is very nice, we haven't driven it much yet, but because of consumer reports and good reviews all around I don't see any forthcoming problems. We went to look for a new vehicle and a salesman met us in the lot as usual with dealerships. His name is Jeff Baldwin, very nice person and not a high pressure salesman. He was very informative about the suv we were considering, he answered all my questions accurately and pointed out details that I didn't know that were a plus in making a decision. The sales manager gave us what I consider a fair allowance on our trade-in. My wife and I are satisfied and would recommend this dealership to others. Salisbury NC is a small city and the dealership wants to maintain a close and satisfied relationship with its customers.

Our salesman was Eli, he was very professional, polite, and accommodating. I had previously went to the Toyota dealership in the town of Fayetteville where I reside, and the salesman there was not as polite and just blew me off like I was not able to afford a Toyota, or the Toyota I was looking at. Eli's customer service was like night and day. He was very friendly. He worked with us and was very courteous. I were impressed with his customer service as well as the sales manager, and we decided we wanted give them our business. We are very pleased and LOVE our Toyota!

He was a wonderful, and knew his job to the most perfection...... All I can say is excellent place to buy a car from .. no hassels only smiles..... I sure walked out of there with a smile on my face.. All was handled excellent.. And everybody I saw in there was very professional... Let me tell you something about Eli. In all my 60 years, I have never had a car salesperson take me into the shops and introduce me to everyone. That made me feel like a million dollars. No good cop/bad cop. Very accommodating and made me feel important. Bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. Have been customer of luxury brands for 10 years and this is the closest I have come to getting that same treatment at a non-luxury brand dealership. Thought it would never happen. Came prepared for a fight and left stunned.

This is my second purchase of a new car from Cloninger, and specifically from Eli Adames. The experience both times has been very good. The dealership is smaller than those in Charlotte and Concord, but the selection has been excellent. I've been very impressed with Eli. He is personable, knowledgeable, and extremely easy to work with. He's that rare salesman who appears to have the customer's best interest at heart. (When I walked in with my wife yesterday, he actually called me by name, though I haven't seen him in three years.) I have recommended Cloninger to family and friends, and will continue to do so. I'll also suggest that they work with Eli. This is the best Toyota dealership I've ever worked with, and there have been quite a few.
