I moved here to Pawleys Island from Long Island, NY in August. I am a long time Nissan customer for over 30 years. My Altima needed service before my trip to Baltimore, MD to see my sons for Thanksgiving. I called the service number on Saturday, not realizing that service was closed on Saturday. The operator advised me to call on Monday at 7:30am to see if they could "squeeze me in" since the computer schedule he saw had no openings on Monday. I planned to drive to Md early Tuesday morning and figured that I would not be able to get an appointment but my husband drove to Coastal at 8 am on Monday and they agreed to do an oil change and check my tires, since I had a message on the dash that I had low tire pressure (I did add air on Saturday and the alert deleted but I was concerned that I might have a slow leak). Mike was wonderful and took the car in and promised to check it out and change the oil. I got a call at 11am telling me that the car was in and would be ready by noon. I was so relieved that I could make my 8 hour drive to Baltimore confident that we would be safe. Both my husband and I will be looking to purchase new vehicles in the next two years and will be sure to shop at Coastal Nissan.

Sales rep was very professional (Brandon Brown),answered questions, explained the technology and safety features of the Murano and was friendly throughout. No pressure but as usual in car buying I left money on the table by not negotiating better. I know that because the previous owner left the new car window sticker with the price in the owner's manual. Too bad I didn't notice that before making a deal. Anyway, Ben in Finance got me a very good interest rate on the loan.The rating below on price refers to the car price, not the price of service.

Only had 2 oil changes done and already I have to replace brakes and tires have a bounce that I payed $49.99 on my last visit to get road force balanced and stil have the same issue. So that was money blown. I asked if the truck had gone through inspection and I was assured by "Jeff" it had and he was the mechanic supervisor. So why would you put a truck on the lot and it not even have 3/16" of pad left on brake shoes. Seems to be more concerned with quantity vs quality. Oh forgot to mention the offer a free complimentary car wash. Stay away. I detailed my truck 2 weeks back and removed all swirl marks and scratches. After a solid 8hrs I was done to only have it undone in one wash from them. I pissed me off so bad I will not be returning for my free oil changes and tire rotation.just remember this phrase" I can do bad all by myself ".

I made the trip to Pawley's Island to look at a nice pre-owned vehicle, and left in a brand new Nissan Rogue. I never anticipated this level of service. I had received a recall notice in June, re:defective passenger airbag sensor. Spoke w/Mike mid-July when I had the vehicle serviced, and he advised he did not have the necessary part, but would call me when one was available. In August, I called Nissan and complained about part accessability since this involves a 'safety issue'. The responded that the dealer gets 2 such parts a week (couldn't advise how many vehicles needed such part). Early September, Mike called to advise that he was able to order a part specifically for my Pathfinder. On Friday 9/23, he called and had the part. I left the vehicle on Monday mid-day - they fixed that recall and another having to do with emissions, and called to advise it was ready late that afternoon. While at service, Goeff helped out with 2 issues: one, the vehicle not recognizing the key fob, and two, a minor Nav glitch. Mike and Goeff are an asset to the dealership with their freindly, helpful attitude.

we were greeted at the door by Shawn Bilton and opened the door for us as as we approached the dealership show room. the whole time he was very curtiuos and well mannered. he showed us what we were looking for and i put a down payment/hold on a 96' Frontier p/u. they were very patient while we arranged payment even though it took much longer that i had anticipated. any questions i had, he answered immediately. after purchasing the truck out right i noticed a problem with the truck and the dealership bent over backwards to remedy the problem even though it was an "as is " sale!!. Dave, the manager and Mike Walsh, service adviser, informed me that the item in question would be taken care of promptly. i have owned five Nissan, three of them were "as is" p/u prior to this one from different dealerships and all of them have given "Excellent" service ,however, i can't say the same for the dealerships. once off the lot, to bad!! i had to order a speedometer for a truck from a previous dealer in South Carolina and they told me it wasn't available, PERIOD!! well i found one at Coastal Nissan a few days later. Coastal Nissan is exceptional, not just for the service but also the entire place was clean enough to eat off the floors including the repair/service areas. it was very obvious that every one there took great pride and cared about the inside as well as the outside appearance of the grounds and buildings. i would be looking forward to going there again for my next purchase. not to mention the accessories I'd like to get for this truck. respectfully, Gordon Craig Hull

Got an awesome deal on a 2015 Chevy.. Only had 30 miles it... Sweet truck... Very positive buying experience. Only negative I have is its the first time I have ever bought a vehicle that didn't have a full tank of gas (little less than 1/2). When I mentioned it my salesman simple said he forgot to fill it up. Nothing else was said, guess I should have or could have pressed the issue, but I just kinda assumed it would get done.. Oh well.. I had brought my previous vehicle in for service and left driving a beautiful maxima. I love the way the maxima felt and drove. My first impression with coastal had to do with the service department, I had talked with Mike on the phone who was patient and attentive, in no way on the phone or when I came for the service did I feel rushed. I just happened to look around the lot and saw a pretty blue maxima. Bob from sales came out on the lot and had a cheerful personality. We went on a test drive and instantly I loved the car. Bob had a lot of knowledge about the car and happily answered all of my questions. He was not a pushy or aggressive salesman, that is important because some customers can be put off by that. Bob had a great attitude, I honestly felt comfortableThis is my 3rd Nissan, I honestly like the brand, Special thanks to Bob, Mike and GeoffYou guys are awesome

I have been a good customer for years.But this last visit I was very disappointed.I made an appt to leave my 2010 Altima off at 1030 am. I was on time and askedwhen my car would be ready,I had already called ahead and left message saying I needed to know time frame as I was trying to set up my ride from neighbors.I was told four o'clock but if I needed to be worked in they would try.I said no four is fine.I was there at four and my car still wasn't done.I was told to pay my bill and car was being washed.At 4:20 I saw my car being pulled around front.I have always made a wait appt.I will never make a drop off appointment again.Gentlemen running service are very kind but that was lousy service that day.

I think the service technician that did the work forgot to reset something since the car's computer is consistently showing that it needs tire and engine service. I called in the other day and was supposed to receive a call back but as of right now it has not come.

Previously, an oil change and battery check were scheduled. The battery was checked and replaced, but the oil was not changed. Mike got the job done and in a timely manner. The service manager comped the oil change since the mix-up resulted in the need for an additional appointment. It is always appreciated when your business is valued. This is the third vehicle that I have purchased from Coastal Nissan and when I replace my current vehicle I will purchase my fourth car from them.

Air conditioning system quit during the 100 degree week we had last week. Called service, Mike got me in right away, despite being super busy. Diagnosed problem, have parts ordered and will schedule repair ASAP. While in for A/c Mike noticed car was due for oil change--he went ahead and had that done as well. I "dropped" in to your dealership to arrange a service date to change a cabin filter. I was quickly met by Mr. Miller in the customer service bay. He surprised me with a " we can do that right now" if you can wait a few. Unusually, I could. It was a short period later when Mr. Miller returned to inform me my vehicle required 3 "recall" notices to be informed, unfortunately all the parts required were notin stock and 1 of those notices was serious enough to require the car be left at the dealership. Enter Mr. Walsh to arrange a loaner vehicle, which as a traveling sales professional, meant a lot to me. Five days later p/u of my car was arranged as scheduled. WOW, unexpected professionalism. I was on a beach vacation in Pawleys Island SC and on the way there we broke a shock on our 2014 Nissan. I took it over to Coastal and spoke to Mike. He was great. They took be back to the house and called later to let me know what was wrong. Mike told me they could not get the part until Monday. He also told me that we were leaking oil because the last dealer to do the oil change did not get the plug in correctly. I told him to go ahead and fix it and Mike ask if I wanted to come back to the dealer and pick up a loaner vehicle. This was a surprise and most loaners that I have gotten were not worth driving. He loaned us a brand new Nissan and said we could not be stranded at the beach on vacation. He was very pleasant and the vehicle was ready on Monday just as he said it would be. I would recommend this dealer anytime and if I am ever in the area I might stop over for a service call.

Since we purchased our Murano, Geoff and Mike have been there whenever I had a question concerning service or a problem that I ran into with the vehicle. The majority of the time my problems were a simple fix Geoff or Mike could take without having to take car to the service area. When the scheduled service was done they have always been there and explained what service was done and kept me informed of recalls (when there was one, before Nissan notified me). Shawn Bilton made our experience purchasing a 2013 Rogue painless and hassle free. My wife initiated contact via email, and Shawn followed up immediately. We had searched for similar cars, and Shawn was able to give us the best price. He was friendly and courteous but not at all pushy like I'm used to when purchasing a vehicle. I was able to get a fair price without spending days going back and forth. When I arrived, Shawn had all the vehicle history ready for me and had already talked with his sales manager to get us a great price. The finance process was a breeze as well thanks to Ben Dameron. My daughter loves the car and my wife and I both agree our next vehicle will be from Coastal as well. If you live anywhere in Horry or Georgetown County, it's worth the drive to Pawleys Island to visit these folks. Almost forgot to mention that they offer 3 years free oil changes and tire rotation with used vehicle purchase as well. Thanks Shawn!

I had made an appointment for 8:30am and arrived at the service entrance a little early. On arrival. I was greeted, by name, by service advisor Mike Walsh. We discussed scheduled maintenance and a recall notice re:passenger airbag; I left the car, and went to breakfast. When I called Mike at approx9:15, he asked me to give him another 1/2 hour. Arriving back at the dealership, the car was finished, and clean. Mike submitted the paperwork to the cashier, and I was out of there. Mike also advised that re: the airbag, they didn't have the necessary part, but when it did come in, he would call and schedule an appointment at my convenience, to complete the repair. I went in for oil change service and was approached about whether I had interest in leasing a new vehicle. After test driving and examining the Rogue, we were able to negotiate a new deal whereby my existing lease was bought out and my new payment was $80/mo less.

My communications with him began while I was living and working in China, preparing to move back to the U.S. Shawn was very helpful through email and was very responsive throughout the process. We had a great car buying experience at Coastal Nissian. My husband and I live in Columbia, SC and drove to Coastal Nissan to purchase our 2015 Nissan Murano. We test drove several different SUV's in Columbia and decided the Murano was the best fit for us. After we decided on a Nissan, my husband's sister and our brother-in-law suggested us contacting Brandon Brown to see if he could help us find a Murano in our price range. From the first time we contacted Brandon he was friendly, quick to reply and available for any questions we had regarding their inventory. We had some specific wants when it came to our vehicle and staying on budget was also very important to us as well. Thankfully, Costal Nissan had several options for us to choose from. They had a 2015 Murano with extremely low mileage that was available. Brandon sent pictures of the vehicle and even took several videos showing up the Murano inside and out, including all of the features, since we were out of town. They had also just deeply reduced the price of the Murano we were looking at so that was another incentive to move forward in purchasing the vehicle. We decided to drive down on a Thursday, mid-day, to look at and hopefully purchase the Murano. Brandon was great to walk us through the process since this was the first vehicle my husband and I were purchasing together. We were able to do some of the paperwork ahead of time to speed up the process once we got there. We loved the car once we arrived. Brandon took us for a ride in our car (and let us drive also) and talked us through a lot of the features of the vehicle. He is very knowledgeable about Nissan vehicles and could tell us about the design of our Murano. We felt very comfortable asking him questions and he was extremely patient and kind to us. He never made us feel like we were rushed or that he had better things to do. We were his main focus at that time and made us feel very comfortable. When we did decide to purchase the car we were introduced to Dave and Ben. Both guys were very nice and friendly. We spent more time with Ben to take care of the paperwork and financial side of the deal. He is a smart guy who was quick to give us all of our options while NOT being pushy at all. He gave us information about extended warranty's and was able to work out a price for an extended warranty that worked with our budget. Dave also spoke to us as we were leaving the dealership. He was also friendly we just didn't have much interaction with him while purchasing the vehicle. Overall, we are giving Coastal Nissan and their employees a five or excellent rating. We had a first class car buying experience and will recommend our friends and family to contact Coastal for their future vehicle purchases. We left feeling confident that we made a good decision for our family and that we got a good deal. We've had our Murano for just a few days and are enjoying it very much so far. My wife and I recently decided that our 11 year old Chrysler Town and Country was becoming too costly to maintain. So, we decided to look at other options. Two of our neighbors had Nissan Rogues, so we decided to explore that possibility. I got onto the internet and searched for "used Nissan Rogues in Pawleys Island, SC". I got on to Coastal Nissan's website and searched for used Rogues. Several appeared. One of those was a 2013 model which was marked as "Special". It also had relatively low mileage, several photos looked good, and the price seemed reasonable. I printed that info for future referenceLast Monday, we went to the dealership and met with salesman Brandon Brown and Sales Manager, Ben Dameron. Brandon brought the car around and we took a test drive. I indicated that we were interested and asked him about trading in our Town and Country, which we had left at home. He asked us to bring the car in so they could evaluate it, which we did that afternoon. After they examined our car, I was asked if we were interested in purchasing the car if we could agree on price. We indicated that we were. He visited with his manager and came back with an offer. The price he offered was exactly what was on the printout I already had and he made an offer on our car. I had printed out the Kelley Blue Book price of my car and it was higher than that offered. I asked that he add $300 to the price of my car. He said that would be fine and we closed the deal. There was no back and forth haggling that we had experienced in our previous dealings with car dealers. They then prepped the Rogue and we signed the necessary paperwork and were then taken to the lady in finance to make our cash payment. There was no pressure to purchase additional items or coverage.I ordered a set of doormats for the car. They arrived the following morning. An Owner's Manual has also been ordered. Brandon spent considerable time with us explaining the controls and features of the car. He also followed up and answered my questions when I returned to pick up the floor mats. He was very informative.The people whom we dealt with were very professional and congenial to talk to. We were treated with respect and absolutely no hassles. We're in our 70's and we've purchased numerous cars during our 54 years of marriage. Without question, this was the best experience we've ever had in purchasing a car. I would recommend Coastal Nissan to anyone with absolutely no reservations.

Had an oil change and also new brakes placed. Brake pedal still spongy and would go all the way to floor before coming to a stop. First was told needed a brake flush at $99 then called and was informed needed an master cylinder at $880 then was called and said needed a abs actuator and sensors at a cost of $2616.19. Now at this time is when they did the brake flush. I was told needed the brake flush to find out what the problem was. Needless to say I don't trust their Service management Geoff & Mike and will not ever return here. Yep I feel like I was scammed.

Last week, we traded our 2009 Rogue for a 2016. Why back to Coastal? First they were fair with us when we purchased the 2009, and were again this time. I went to Coastal Nissan to try and get into a lease. They not only got me into a lease but they got me in the car i truly wanted. They did not stop until I was 100% satisfied. Shawn was a very professional and knowledgeable sale representative. Shawn even introduced me to Mike in the service department after creating my first service appointment. Our automobile had a flat tire and I needed to have it repaired. The young woman who answered the service line and took my information was very nice, but informed me that we couldn't have the car serviced until Tuesday...6 days later, including the weekend. As this was not an option, I asked to speak to Geoff who understood our predicament and told us to bring it in. We left the car and picked it up at the end of the business day.This was great service and only the most recent in a series of good experiences we have had with Geoff and his staff. Mike is a great additional to the team. He seems conscientious, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you.

This was by far one of the best overall expeiences to any car dealer in my vast history of buying cars! My fiance and I couldn't be happier with our purchase. Everyone was very nice. They explained everything that needed to be done and it's cost. I really don't think I should really have to pay for anything at Coastal Nissan while I have my lease on my SentrA. Reason being that I traded in my Rogue and almost up to 3-4 months I had a collection Agency saying I hadn't made payments on my Rogue. I had already turned in my Rogue and Coastal told me I didn't have any fees to pay. They had already sold my car and the accounting department at Coastal didn't turn to Nissan corp that the car was sold and iNissan was still calling me saying I owed all this money. I went to Coastal Nissan accounting dept. and they told me I didn't owe anything. I know this is not the type of information you wanted and this is not the service department's issue, it's accounting. I think I should get some type of free service . Thank you

We had 2 glitches that will go unsaid. The crew was great as always. I have no worries when my vehicles are in the shop. I only have one comment. Tired of paying full retail. I have only lived here for 7 months and use your dealership exclusively. Many thousands of dollars spent. How about dealer, other shops, etc. discounts once in awhile. Even after the glitches I still had to pay just short oh a grand. Again

My car was taken in for routine maintenance. Received phone call that car needed tires, so visited dealership and reviewed options with Service Manager. He did an excellent job in explaining options and offered different tires. He was very straight-forward and I followed his recommendation. I dealt with Mike and Geoff in the Service Dept.

There isn't a better shop in the low country... I've been to everyone in charleston and I came here to buy my truck and now to get it serviced. This shop is amazing the people that work on the vehicles are actually intellegent and polite and so are the service managers... They took my truck in a few weeks ago on an emergency service when my grandmother passed away with no hesitation and made me there first priority and I really appreciate it... Thanks again to everyone there.

I have 2016 Nissan Frontier Mike in the service department is an excellent rep. Both visits he was waiting to take my info and get my truck in. He is very courteous and detailed. In my opinion he deserves a raise ;) ! I have had over 100 cars and I have never dealt with anyone as courteous. He was very detailed in making sure the service dept was aware of my concerns and when the vehicle was finished he explained what they had done to address my concerns, and made sure what the service dept.

Took car in for oil change and courtesy inspection. Was told car needed an alignment. Since alignment was done only two months ago took car back to alignment center. They found a bad tie rod which was not found at dealership. Was contacted by service manager at Coastal Nissan and he offered a solution which would resolve my concern.

I learned of a fuel gasket recall on my newly purchased 2016 Maxima. I called the dealership and they immediately ordered the part and offered me a loaner until the part arrived. Since I had no noticeable issues with my car, I declined the loaner. When I had the appointment, they fixed the defective part, changed the oil, rotated the tires, and washed the car - all within a 2 hour timeframe! That's awesome service. Even more impressive, the technician that performed the work came out to introduce himself and explained what he did to complete the repair. This place is a Top Tier organization!!!

When we were ready to purchase we went back to Coastal and met with Brandon, Ben and Laura (Financing). They were awesome to deal with and helped us get exactly what we wanted. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone... I try to buy a car today from Brandon Brown... They had a sell price on there cars on on there web site ... I contacted Brandon Brown and was making a deal with him ,, told him I was going to send my wife to pick the car up and write him a check for the price that was advertised... Then he told me that i would have to add $5000.00 dollar's to that price if I was paying with cash... I told him I was going to pay the advertise price and he said no I couldn't and it I was wasting his time... He really disappointed me and not only did he let me down but he let everybody down and I don't know why Nissan would allow him to have false advertisement I will never go back there to buy vehicle again

I looked online before visiting the dealership and I wasn't too sure that they had what I wanted. A few days later I decided to go there anyway just to look around and I ended up leaving with a 2013 Altima SL. Michael Moses was the salesperson who helped me and I have to say I was extremely pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. I left there feeling that I made one of the best decisions of my life and I was very grateful for everything Michael did for me. I will be telling everyone to visit Michael Moses at Coastal Nissan if they are ever in the market for a car. They had one 2014 Nissan Altima SL left on the lot. They made us a good deal with the Trade-In of our current car and also got us down in our payments so it was the best for us. I would recommend these guys because the owner Mr. English don't want you to go to the other dealerships around the area! The salesman Mr. Mike Walsh did a great job with his knowledge & help during the sale process. The only reason they got a 4 star on Quality of Work is due to them not being open on Saturday for Service/Maint.... Wish they were open from 8am-12pm on Sat.

We had looked on the internet and then gone to the dealership on a Sunday and looked over the vehicles. For this reason we had made our choice prior to going to the dealership to purchase. Michael Moses helped us with the deal and was very professional. I felt like we were lowballed on the value of our vehicle ( I had looked up on the internet prior to going and we both used Kelley but his numbers were a lot lower that what I had found). That is the only thing that was not 100 per cent positive.The finance man was also very professional in his dealings.
