The husband and I love Subaru and were pretty much decided when we went there; we just had to decide on a model, etc. Nick was AWESOME! He let us browse and answered any questions we had. Totally "no pressure". When we told him we were probably a couple months out from doing the deal, still, no pressure. I really recommend Colonial, as well as Nick, to help you through what can sometimes be a trying task.

Nicholas Cifelli did everything necessary to put us in our new Outback. We had narrowed it down to a short list of cars we were considering, and he did such a great job of explaining all the strengths of the Outback (without denigrating the other vehicles or manufacturer) that it helped to make our decision a relatively easy one. He even came in on his day off to close the sale. When we berated him for not telling us it was his day off he said, "Hey, I made two new friends for life." We feel as though we have made a friend, too.We were happy with all facets of the interface; Michael Britland did a fantastic job of reviewing all features and benefits, and Justin Glein handled finances very thoroughly and professionally.From start to finish, we actually enjoyed the entire process.

No pressure car buying. You are well informed of all of the options and they work with you to find out what best works for you. I was considering upgrading to a newer car after having my little hatchback for 10 years, but wasn't sure if I'd love a cross-over style. I'm an avid manual transmission driver and located a few Crosstreks at Colonial that were in manual (had previously been researching Imprezas and found it impossible to locate a manual version). I met Nick and he took me for a test drive in a zippy blue 2016 Crosstrek which handled great, didn't feel like a huge jump up from my hatchback, and obviously I loved the color. Nick was pleasant to work with and great to chat with (especially about the Union!). We were able to negotiate a deal I was happy with and I parted ways with my little Hyundai and left with my new Subaru. I'm extremely happy with my experience at Colonial and with Nick and the rest of the team. I highly recommend heading to them if you're in the market for a great car!

Before going to the dealership I researched some of the cars they had so I had an idea of which ones I wanted to see. When I got there I told Nick what I was looking for and my price range. He pulled up some of the cars on his computer and I was test driving my Corolla in minutes. After I drove it I wanted my boyfriend to test drive as well since I wouldn't necessarily know if something felt wrong. This wasn't a problem. We both loved the car and decided that was the one for me. There was a little issue with stains on the backseat but Nick assured me it wasn't a problem and scheduled to have their detailer fix the issue. The whole experience was quick and easy. Nick was so friendly the whole time (even though we ended up being there almost an hour after closing to finish paperwork). I would definitely recommend Nick and Colonial to anyone looking for a new reliable vehicle.

Juan Ramirez was very helpful with my first Subaru purchase. He was able to answer most of my question. He allowed me to test drive a few cars until I was set on which one I wanted. If Juan did not know an answer to a question, he will try to find the answer for me. Overall, I was really satisfied with my first Subaru purchase.

Johnny made buying my new 2016 GTI a breeze. He helped me make some key decisions and spoke knowledgeably about other vehicleseven ones the dealership doesn't sell. And once I'd purchased my car, he went over all the features again in more detailmaking sure I knew how everything worked. (He was so thorough I didn't need to read the user's manual.) Plus, he let me know that I could call anytime I had a question. Johnny and the rest of the team at Colonial truly provide superior customer service. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the owner and imediately helped by a sales associate. The sales associate (Suketu) was excellent! He knew all the facts about each of the cars I was interested in and was more then helpful in every aspect from the beginning to the end of the sale and there after. I would highly recommend Colonial VW Subaru in Feasterville. This was the best dealership experience I've had as a buyer.

He did not make me feel any pressure to buy. The dealership closes at 9 but he stayed until 10:30 pm to make sure everything went well in financing. Erica is an all star member of this team as well! I purchased a car yesterday. It was a pleasure to walk around the dealership. I did not feel pressure to purchase a car. It was an exciting and enjoyable experience. My salesperson, Joe was very patient and easy to talk to. He was very patient especially explains the new technology to me. My old car did not even contain Bluetooth! Justin was also very effectively and prepared ( with the paperwork) in the finance department. I met with Michael to go over the Navigation System. My mother was very impressed as well. I had an amazing experience purchasing my first new car at the age of 31. As a female I was dreading buying a new car, as I'm sure many of you women out there do, I brought along my male partner to be my body guard against bullies. I could have left him at home ;). Everyone at Colonial Subaru was wonderful, they all addressed me directly, they didn't try to talk to my male partner instead, they did not pressure me, answered all of my questions, and if they didn't know the answer they found out. I walked into Colonial on a busy Saturday, everyone was helping another customer so the owner Eric grabbed a fresh first day employee Juan Ramirez to assist him and me with test drives and sales. Juan rose to the occasion beautifully!!! I'm sure we can all remember what its like to have a first day at a new job. I watched Eric treat his brand new salesman with respect and kindness, showing such patience on a busy day, teaching him the ropes. It is the mark of a great team when the leader teaches and treats his employees with kindness and respect. Juan did a wonderful job answering my questions, joking with us, and overall making me feel very comfortable. When he didn't know the answer to a question he found out. He even recruited their tech specialist Michael Britland to answer my silly detailed questions. Michael is a wealth of knowledge! I loved his excitement about Subaru's and their features. He truly loves his job and is excited to teach and help customers understand the intricacies of new car technology. After a couple days of contemplation I was ready to buy my first car! Juan was wonderful, and showed up bright eyed and excited to sell his first car!! I think he was as excited as I was!! His coworkers helped him through the whole process in such a kind way and he seemed very well supported through his experience. As if the process couldn't get any smoother Erica Kopp was a rockstar and helped ease all of my financial anxieties. She explained every form I signed in detail, showed me all the numbers for different year loans, how everything would add up depending on which features I went with, explained all the add-ons, didn't try to push anything at all. She gave me and my partner all the time we needed to talk out each option and decide what was right for us. When I was still nervous about the price she found some extra coupons online to get me to a less stressful final number. Through all of my hyperventilating and freak outs she kept a smile on her face and a laugh in her voice. She was such a joy to work with!!!As a final cherry on top of a wonderful day Juan's coworkers gathered around and cheered for him while I helped honor the tradition of cutting his tie for his first car sales. I couldn't have asked for a better salesman to work with and I was honored to be is first sale! I purchased a hitch for my new Subaru Crosstrek smurfmobile, and they said the car would need to come back in when they got the part. I was dreading bringing the car back in and waiting in the office after working all night at the hospital, I had nothing to dread. Juan came to my house after I got home from work, dropped off a loaner car for me to use and took my car to the shop for the installation!! He brought my new baby back to me the next day with absolutely no hassle to me! I obviously can't rave enough about everyone I interacted with at Colonial! Thank you all for making my first new car purchase a smooooth ride. Totally in love with my smurf-mobile!!!!

The rudest and worst sales experience ever. Sales manager was being such a jerk, made us feel like we're begging to get the car for free. He was rude, word for word, he said, "so are you going to get the car or not?" (no, he was not joking!) What the heck?! I've never experienced this kind of customer service and disrespect from any kind of sales people.First, when the sales person demonstrated the Eyesight, the car ramped right into a dumpster without stopping...twice! But why didn't the airbags deploy with that kind of impact? Then the sales person told us he could get the car in the color we wanted transported from their dealer network no more than 30 miles away, so we agreed to purchase the car and put down a deposit. Then the next day he called and told us that the car will be coming from Connecticut, like a couple hundred miles away. However, they will not bring the car in on a flatbed truck, instead, they're having someone drive it down. Now who wants to buy a new car with some stranger already putting a few hundreds miles on it already?We told them in that case, we didn't want the car and the deal was off, at that moment, we saw the true color of the staff there; all of a sudden, they turned from friendly to jerks. First the General Sales Manager got on the phone with us, but didn't have the guts to be mean, so she passed the call onto the Sale Manager who was a complete jerk, rude and mean. So they would only be friendly to you if you buy from them, but if you make the deal a bit difficult for them, they are complete jerks!!! (the sales person actually admitted that they think we, the customers, are being jerks, so they're just returning that same attitude to us). Wait what??? Customers go there to spend money and keep them in business so they could get paid, but then we're the bad guys??? We only told them that we don't want the car with someone driving it from a couple hundred miles away; just because we didn't agree to getting a brand new car with a few hundred miles on it, they got mad since we didn't accommodate them on the transport.Final word, I will tell everyone I know in my power to never shop at Colonial, EVER!!!! If anyone wants to shop there, they better be prepared to go, sign, and drive away with a new car, or be treated like you're the bad guys. All these highly rated reviews from other customers were from people who bought cars from this dealership, of course they were treated like royalties; but if you changed your mind on buying the car from Colonial, then they treat you with the biggest attitude ever!

I was looking for a SAFE smaller SUV after my wife had driven a Caddilac SRX or years, but it was way to big, and maintainence is VERY COSTLY.I as this after looking at other Dealers, Firsts of all SUBARU has the TOP TWO IIHAP awards, thenForrester, then the CROSSTREK , Mymwife wanted a Black one and I saw this DARK GRAY METALLIC one, while another dealer was here showing me a car I kind of used em to ensure it fit in the garage with no,problems.MY wife called me from the dealer stung I love it !!!!!! DAWN who is the Internet sale manager went over everything within me and came back with a price LOWER than what other dealer wanted for a Base model, it,s loaded except a map screen, which comes through Bluetooth and a skylight,.....we needs it it fries your brain .THey wanted me to come down BUT I did my homework , it gets 36 mpg and is AWDit can be put in Drive or shifted with the paddles.I must say that there was a misprint NOT COLONIAL SUBARU fault but SUBARU main company called n said they will pay for two years of all services needed, it didn't end there.....Friday a box arrived with a note saying "WHEN U R NOT ENJOYING YOUR SUBARU HERE,S A GIFT FROMUS TO MAKE YOUR HOME VIEWING EVEN BETTER...ITMWAS A $500 Bose sound box that fits under your TV.I must say From DAWN DeJesus, BOB ANDERSON, TO MIKE the tech guy who explains anything u don't know how to use, to,the people in Service to the owner who called me Personally.......this is HOW TO SELL CARS,,,,Other dealers can take a seminar fromCOLONIAL SUBARU and they too might be out of stock on most model but fear not they have plenty of so,e great new ones coming inI want to thank everyone involved I. I have been trading in and purchasing cars from Colonial Volkswagen since 2007 and I have no regrets. 2 of these purchases were done in the last 2 months for my sons who have recently become drivers. Colonial VW has the most efficient and friendly staff who have always made me feel safe and comfortable when driving a Volkswagen. I have developed a trusting relationship with salesman Shawn Koegler and service consultants Kevin Wagner and Dana Harding over the years. This trust I have added to my legacy by introducing Volkswagen cars for my sons. My oldest son began working out of state last November and decided he wanted to purchase a car. This past Friday he flew to Philadelphia to purchase the car. After the purchase we drove 13 hours on Saturday back to his home and I flew back to Philadelphia on Sunday. Yes he could have gotten a car close to home with maybe a corporate discount from his job, but there was no guarantee there would be a "Shawn" at that dealership. Shawn is helpful, efficient, courteous, straightforward and knowledgeable. He conducts his deals in a courteous and professional manner that speaks to the culture of the dealership. Shawn communicated each aspect of the purchase in a clear, simple manner that my son, a first time car buyer, could easily understand . Everyone at this dealership made purchasing a new car a pleasant experience, starting with Anatoliy (Tony) Kuznetsov, and ending with Michael. Lorraine made the financial paperwork pleasant, and Karen, GM took the time to come and introduce herself to me. Tony never pressured me with annoying phone calls or emails, and worked his very best to get me an honest price for my trade in, so that was one less thing for me to do. I like the fact that they have Michael show you all the instruments and gadgets on your new car. The building itself, is clean and welcoming.

My van of 14 years just wore out. My brother and I decided to stop in and look at used cars. We spoke with Ted Ciihino told him my credit was not good. Surprising he listened and went to talk with Erica Kopp. Both Ted and Erica worked a miracle and I drove out in a 2012 Routon. A week and a half later the check engine light came on. Took it in for service Dana Harding was very helpful. Also Erica and Lauren were very helpful with helping me get on my way with a loner car. I wish all dealerships worked in this professional manner.

I usually dread talking to salesman when buying a car. They always seem to be too pushy and only worried about their paycheck and don't care what I buy. Nicholas was a breath a fresh air. He was patient and kind and very understanding. He understood it's about gaining trust from us. He was honest and had my best interest in mind. My experience with this dealership first occurred in September of 2015, with my purchase of a 2016 Subaru Legacy from Bob Nieves. I have since had this auto serviced there as well. Bob is the consummate, professional auto salesman. He is engaging, gregarious and obviously enjoys his work, probably because it involves dealing with people. He worked with me to fulfill my requests and found me the car I wanted, all carried out with energy, fun and skill. He also assisted in the return of my leased car, an Altima, to the sister dealership for that brand. The dealership itself was under construction, but it is very modern and clean. My return for service was after the construction was completed, and it is now a wonderful place. The service was prompt and efficient, and again, Bob smoothed my access to the service department. The five stars are well earned.

After learning that my car was DOA from a bad engine my heart was broken :( My friend brought me to Colonial Subaru because that is where he bought his car and he had an excellent experience. Well I was right to listen, Nick came over to us right away and introduced himself and immediately went looking for the car that I had come to look at. Well it turned out that car had been sold, but Nick was able to find me an even better one which we were able to work out and I was in the car by lunchtime! He made the whole process very quick and easy for someone who was in such despair coming in, plus he was even able to work out a trade for my poor dead car. Erica made the whole paperwork part very easy and entertaining! In the end I am very happy with my wonderful practically brand new Impreza and I would certainly come back again or send a friend/family member myself!

I do not usually like the experience of buying a new car. But Nick made me feel comfortable from the beginning. Before showing me any vehicles he asked me some questions about what features I'm looking for in a new car. He then showed me a Subaru Impreza hatchback that had everything I wanted and nothing I didn't want. Nick was friendly and informative throughout the process. Lorraine was great at processing my paperwork without being pushy. Overall, it was a great experience! I highly recommend Nick if you're in the area and thinking about buying a new car.

I recently bought a vehicle from Colonial Volkswagen and Subaru. I normally buy a new vehicle every 3-5 years. I bought a used vehicle and the negotiations were beyond simple. I bought the vehicle from Mr. Tony Kuznetsov. He was more than helpful. The dealership treats their customers as adults and not dollar signs. (All dealerships need to make money. I went in knowing the quality of Subaru's but had never driven one. I was looking for a manual transmission Forester so I could tow it behind the RV 4-wheels down. Shawn Keogler got me behind the wheel and we took one for a test drive. I loved it but it was the base model and didn't have everything I wanted. Shawn got online and located the one I wanted and two days later I was driving it home. Before I left the dealership they made sure I knew how all of the vehicles features worked. They didn't have my color in stock but he was able to find it in a day and had it sent to Colonial. We just purchased a brand new 2016 Subaru Forester and the color was Burnish Bronze. Bob Nieves and his team (Michael, Karen, and Justin and if I'm forgetting anyone else, I'm sorry) were AMAZING!!!! The best customer service we've ever experienced. My wife wanted a Subaru Forester and from the moment we walked in (as it has been the worst week ever), Bob took amazing care of us! Because they didn't have a white one that my wife was so adamant about but we were willing to wait, the team was determined to get one to us by transporting a brand new white on that same day. However, after all that, my wife chose the Burnished Bronze one that grew on us and now we both love the color even more. We've never had such a supportive group of people to help us purchase the vehicle we wanted! We love the car. We've purchased the car with only 5 miles and exactly one week later we are over 500 miles. Subaru is known for the their customer service and we stand by them! Thank you Colonial Subaru!!! I can't express how happy I am that I contacted Colonial VW/Subaru about a car purchase. I had a particular car in mind that I saw on line but when I went and met with Shawn Keogler, he actually worked out a more favorable deal for me on a similar but newer model. It's true that they are not like a typical car dealership. Everyone was friendly and accommodating while maintaining the utmost professionalism. The entire process took a little over an hour. I had several email exchanges with Dawn DeJesus (Internet Concierge), and she did an amazing job of answering all of my questions and understanding my apprehension about a car purchase. She really made me feel at ease even before I went to see the cars in person. So I don't usually write on line reviews for any businesses, but these guys truly deserve the praise.

After a divorce and extended unemployment period beginning in 2008 lasting through 2010 my credit was shot, no savings and knew there was no way I'd be able to replace my POS car. But after talking with Shawn Keogler and Ginny Deleon I drove away in a really nice pre-owned Toyota RAV4. I was not pressured, in fact I left the dealership (to think) and didn't return for a week. Was shopping for a new car for many months narrowing it down to a Forrester. This is my first Subaru and I was downsizing from a 2001 Chrysler Voyager with 202,000 miles. I was ready to purchase.I had shopped at a number of dealers and knew that pricing was not going to be the issue as to where I was going to purchase the car. But I wanted to find a Dealer and Sales person that wanted to sell me a car and made me feel comfortable working with him to purchase a vehicle. Arriving at the sales lot I had some time to look at the cars unattended and for me this was great because It allowed me to study a number of the cars and their pricing. Seeing them and understanding the options and make a list of anything that I was not sure of or familiar with. Like the camera lenses at the top of the roof facing out the front windshield. Next, as I was finishing up with gathering information to ask, an employee was passing me and I asked if he was a salesman. He said no but led me in and introduced me to Bob Nieves.Bob with his laid back attitude and total interest in selling me a great car went and did it with no pressure applied. Helped me pick a car as close to what I was looking for. I chose the color I wanted and those Camera lens in the ceiling area of the front. I found out are called (eyesight) and help control the cars safety features. I would like to go into detail about that feature here as to how they have helped me in Bucks County Deer Country but this review is about Colonial and a top Salesman named Bob Nieves.Great place to purchase a new car.Had a Great Salesman, Bob Nieves that made this purchase a Great Buy.And so far A Great Car that runs Great.

As I started the process of purchasing my third Subaru Legacy, I naturally went back to the dealer that sold me the first two. With the high demand for 2016 models they were not able to find the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. A friend informed me about Colonial Volkswagen Subaru. I was not sure about the dealership at first, as they are located more than two hours away from my home (one way). Would it be worth the drive?? Long story short, it was! I already know my next Subaru will come from Colonial. The staff members were all polite, and made my purchase their priority. The entire process (from locating a vehicle to pick up) was efficient and well managed. I was most impressed at how they resolved a minor issue when I picked up the vehicle. For me, this is where you learn the most about how a company conducts business. The group I was working with all came to see how they could help. A plan was devised and the dealership team immediately jumped into action. They treated my car just as they would their own and may have been more concerned about the issue than I was. At this point, I was extremely impressed (which takes a lot). Colonial made it very apparent they strive for exceptional service and want customer experiences to be nothing less than perfect. I had the pleasure of working with Karen Byrd, Tony Kuznetsov, Justin Gliem, Michael Britland and Eric Stamps.

We were shopping for a new car and were considering various makes/models. I really liked what VW did with the Passat. It was a much larger mid-size Sedan than it used to be. Did my homework and was in contact with a few different dealers. Colonial won my vote. I visited the lot a few times and hooked up with a sales rep (Albert). We didn't decide right away but eventually we ended up back at Colonial. Glad we did. They really worked with us during the purchase/lease process. It was not painful as sometimes car purchasing/leasing can be. They did not have the car color we wanted on the lot, but they got one from another lot. While they prepared it, they gave us a gift certificate to go eat at a local restaurant while we waited. In all my years of car buying that has never happened. Its those little things that make the difference. The car is a beauty and we love it. The service dept. employs some of the most professional, friendly, and knowledgeable people that I have encountered in a dealership in a long time. We are not really loyal to any make of car, but I think that has changed. We leased a Passat from Colonial and lease will be coming to end soon and not certain what we are going to do, but returning to Colonial is probably our best bet. The car has been in for service twice for recommended checkup. No major issues and those that were issues, were covered under warranty (brake rotors wear). Dana from service is someone you feel very comfortable with. She is professional and knows her stuff. She is ultra friendly and nothing is a problem. They want to make you happy. The waiting area for service is nice with television, sofas, chairs, coffee, water, A play area for the kids. They think of everything. They also have shuttle service where they will drive you home or to work after you drop your car off for service and will return to get you when car is done. I would highly recommend Colonial Volkswagen and Subaru. If you like VWs, do yourself a favor and at give them a visit. You won't be disappointed.

The sales staff were all VERY welcoming, the finance manager was EXTRAORDINARY and my final finance rep that helped me sign all my papers was AMAZING. They are the ones that helped me not lose my mind or go into panic attacks buying a car. They helped me through every step, helped me make decisions that were best for ME, not them, and did an EXCEPTIONAL job overall. They got me into a great car for a great price and it was all thanks to Johnny who had the patience, expertise and professionalism to deal with someone with my credit, lack of knowledge and lack of decision making! What a wonderful team. Each person I delt with was friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. Tamara was a doll in helping me get in, she was so confident in the establishment! I had been shot down so many time for a loan I didn't believe her. Evenutally I made the hour drive to give their 'credit and forget it' team a try. Now, my first visit was a bust... left in tears, but that was because of MY situation, they did their BEST. Now my second attempt was so quick it took me like a week to realize I actually owned and was driving the car I'd been putting my intentions into for months! Once I stepped ont he lot I decide to go big or go home. I didn't go home and after I chose the closing was amazing. I had to be out the door to be at an appointment for my soon to be sister-in-laws wedding dress fitting. The team at Colonial moved so fast, from sales to finance to service to the person assigned to tell me the ins and outs of the car. I invested in roof racks and didn't want to wait to have service put them on (and I think I'm bad a** with tools) so I thought they would be in the trunk. I was in such a hurray it wasn't untill I got home that I noticed they had gotten them on anyway! They even went as far as offering to come to ME to fully explain all the cool functions in my BRAND NEW 2015 SUBARU FORESTER! Short of it is I would recommend Colonial in a heart beat.

Always wanting a VW Jetta and desire to buy a manual transmission, my experience at Colonial VW Subuaru went smoothly. Phone call inquiry with Tamara led to a same day appointment with Shawn. Shawn took the time to listen to what I wanted, showed me various options, and ultimatley found the care I was looking for ( even taking steps to retrieve it from another dealer ). This was also my first experience leasing a vehicle. I was unsure of the process but after speaking with both Tamara and Shawn my hesitations vanished. Shawn worked thru the #s with me at the various mileage limits and the various models. In less than 24 hrs I had inquired about the car, viewed various different options, leased the vehicle I wanted , and drove off the lot ( after a few quick lessons from Michael reviewing the features of the car & Shawn teaching me the basics of a manual transmission ) . He kept me informed while they were locating my vehicle (I wanted orange) and letting me know when it was located and ready for me to pick up. I went to Colonial and I was interested in the 2015 Forester or Legacy. I spoke with Bob Nieves who was knowledgeable, honest, flexible and very helpful. He made the entire deciding and then the buying process pleasant and not stressful. I found the perfect car for me. But if I could not find it in Colonial's inventory, Bob would help me get it. I already recommended Bob and Colonial dealership to my coworkers, friends, and family!

I was in the market for a new 2016 Subaru WRX while I was living in Philadelphia as I was going to be moving to North NJ. I was contacted by Tony via e-mail and he gave me an excellent deal on my new WRX. There were no games, hassles, hidden fees and negotiating was what would be expected for a highly desirable car. Tony made the leasing experience very easy and arranged for me to be picked up from the Trenton train station after I moved to NJ for my job. I was very pleasantly surprised by the dealer experience while I was there and the process itself was quick, efficient, and did not have any surprises. I have leased numerous other cars, including high end German cars, and this has been on-par, if not a better experience working with their knowledgable staff. I would highly recommend working with them and greatly appreciated the extra effort that Tony put in.

Tony made this purchase very easy and quick. We found this outback on the web and called the dealer. Tony contacted me within few minutes and we pretty much made a deal over the phone. We drove for 2 hours and our new Subaru was already detailed and ready for us. Within an hour we purchased the car and were on our way home. Very satisfied with the dealership and Tony.

Shawn Keogler just made my day!We came in with a car in mind, but after many test drives and a lot of math, he ended up saving us a lot of money and getting us a newer car!We were on a very specific budget and he not only made the car work for us, he also corindated our insurance and saved us $40 a month on the spot.On top of this all, he was totally transparent throughout the process, and after doing the numbers, the car we picked actually made him less money, even though that's the one he suggested we go home with.Thanks so much Shawn!

I came in to Colonial because my parents had previously purchased a vehicle from these guys and had a great experience. Needless to say, my time spent here with Ted was nothing short of seamless and fantastic. Ted's relaxed demeanor immediately put me at ease and I truly felt like all my needs were taken care of. Friday morning my husband and I went out looking for a car since I recently had a car fire. I had such anxiety because of past experiences with car dealers being pushy, dishonest, and not interested in my needs. I was so impressed with how Joe Eisenbaugh handled our situation from start to finish. After he patiently showed us about 8-10 used cars (which is what we were in search of), we test drove a Passat which we loved. We left that day knowing we loved the care we received, but still wanted to "shop" around. Later that day, we called Joe and told him that we made a decision and would be up Saturday morning for the Passat! He Had all the paperwork ready, car detailed, finances situated, etc. We basically walked in, signed papers and left happy customers! Joe was professional, patient, kind and most of all knowledgeable. He took pride in his job, for sure. I would highly recommend Joe at Colonial Volkswagen to anyone in the search of a car both new or used.

My Mother-In-Law purchased a 2015 Subaru Outback. Everthing went well enough. She liked how Joe picked her up to complete the deal. Only snag was with the registration, but not fault of the dealer, my mother-in-law did not ask about one little detail. But this was easily remedied.

Corinne Bistline is one good Service Person! I was having trouble with my one tire after I hit a pot hole. Colonial got me in right away and fixed the tire and wheel while I waited! And because I had bought road hazard insurance , it didn't cost me a dime!

I am normally skeptical of any dealerships, but my experience at Colonial changed my mind. I brought my car in and was helped by Dennis Mcgettigan. He took the time to listen to me and my concerns and didn't just try to yes me to death. I told him I needed the car as quick as possible and he got me the car back the same day. He was honest and kept me informed of my cars progress. In highly recommend Colonial servce and especially recommend Mr. Mcgettigan.

We went to Colonial Volkswagen to look at a used Jetta. We were greeted by David Johnson and explained why we were there. David showed us the vehicle we requested and some other comparable vehicles. I commented that I loved the new Jetta in the showroom and David said he would run numbers on that as well. David was very professional and courteous and was able to get us into the new car. There was no pressure or "bull" involved. Our experience at Colonial and with David was excellent. The entire process was quick and painless and Erika, the finance manager, was a delight as well. We would highly recommend both to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. We will definitely be repeat customers in the future!

Just got myself a gorgeous 2015 Jetta SE this past weekend from Colonial VW! This is now the 3rd car we've purchased from there. Each time we've worked with Dave Johnson, and each time our experience has been wonderful! I came into the dealership not really knowing what to expect as a first time buyer. From start to finish every employee I interacted with gave me outstanding service, but David Johnson really brought the experience together for me. He accommodated my financial needs, was very informative, and I did not feel like he was talking down to me because I am a younger customer, which was very important to me. Not to mention he was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be recommending Colonial VW Subaru to anyone who is looking for a car and great service.

My husband purchased a pre-certified Subaru from Colonial, pre-certified right. Lets take a look at this car. Center console was broken, fuse box door would not stay closed, blown out speakers, two diffrent brand of tires on the front and back and right know we are having a new transmission put in. We paid way too much for the car because it was a "Pre-Certified" car and now we are stuck with it because we owe more then it is worth.

Purchasing a car was made extremely easy at Coloniel Subaru and Volkswagen. The sales staff seemed genuinely concerned with making me happy and not necessarily just selling me anything to achieve their sales goals. Walking in I was greeted by Arthur Reyes, who was a pleasure to deal with. He had made great recommendations, gave answers to every question I asked, and all around made it an enjoyable experience. William Seltzer helped me achieve the best possible price for my car. Justin Gliem made the financial aspect of it all seem absolutely effortless. I couldn;t have asked for a better experience!

I could write a paragraph on this but it states I am limited to 25 words. I feel that I met two individuals that still value customer service and giving 100%. Shawn Keogler has an air of confidence because he knows what he is doing...he was very relaxed and not at all pushy- but he knew what I wanted and he was going to make that happen! I was SO appreciative to deal with someone so knowledgable of his product and the system in which he works. He was right...I walked away just a short time later with the car of my dreams. Justin Gliem gave us a great loan and was up front and honest, which is very much appreciated because, like others, we always feel so vulnerable signing contracts in the double digits! They do not return phone calls even when your having problems with a vehicle. They kept telling me I would get a phone call back in regards to the vehicle. I spoke to numerous people from there kept saying the same thing. I had to contact subaru of America in order to get helped. I would not recommend this dealership nor my sales person tony. Completely horrible.

My family and I fell in love with the Subaru WRX but we were having a difficult time finding a dealership that had the car in the color and edition we wanted. One local dealership had the car in-bound in red, they appraised my vehicle , and negotiated a reduction off of sticker. I was close to purchase but was truly looking for this car in blue. Many local dealerships could order the car , but none, in our immediate area had one in stock. I searched the internet and found that Colonial had it in blue on the lot. I sent an email and had an immediate response from Megan. After back and forth communication, Megan convinced me to take the 124 mile round trip to their dealership simply because, I quote "Colonial VW Subaru will not let price get in the way". We felt comfortable and confident that this dealership would make us happy. When we arrived asking for Meghan, Arthur greeted us indicating that Megan worked for him and he would help us. With that being said we brought our already appraised Scion TC in for trade and was prepared to walk out with a the WRX. We explained to Arthur exactly what we were hoping for, and he gave us their appraisal of our car and offer on the new car. The offer to us was full price for the new WRX and $2,200 less than our local dealership quoted us. We were taken back as we were given the indication that this dealership was going to work with us. So, we challenged Arthur saying we had the feel that they would negotiate with us a bit. He said, "let me ask, I'll be right back". After a few minutes he came back and said, much to our disgust, " I went in the back and checked the email communication and price was never discussed". So.... Arthur didn't go back to see if our trip was worth our time, Arthur went in the back to call us liars. He then indicated the price is firm. The only reaction we could have at the time was WOW! We did not travel that distance to be treated like this as we were fully prepared, check book in hand, to purchase this vehicle. The feeling of communicating with one person (Megan) who brought us into the dealership and the harsh reality of another person on the other end, who had no intention of working with us, is unprofessional at best. We left. We felt baited by this dealership and would never purchase a car from them.

In particular, Albert Meeks was a total pleasure to work with; he took the time to listen to our concerns and helped address all of our questions with patience and totality. I have two other Subaru dealerships closer to my home address, but if needed, I would go back to this location in a heartbeat.

Joe Eisenbaugh was very diligent in finding the vehicle I wanted. Even though I had to go someplace else just to take a test drive, Joe still came through and helped put me in the vehicle I was hoping to drive. He even found one with accessories I had been asking about. Great job all around.Erica Kopp did a great job with my financing. She found a bank and a rate that was affordable and reviewed in detail all the options and packages available. She was friendly and cordial though the entire process.

I wasn't in the market for a new car until a week ago when a deer made the decision for me, and the Subaru Crosstrek was a vehicle that I knew I loved but didn't know if I could afford. Albert Meeks completely understood my situation and put in his attention and effort even before we knew whether or not my old car was totaled. Because he was willing to do so, I was back behind the wheel in 1 week...they even grabbed my Crosstrek from Maryland the morning it was delivered to me.I strongly recommend Subarus, Colonial Subaru, and working with Albert. We had an excellent experience yesterday buying a new Passat at Colonial Volkswagen. We made our first contact via internet with concierge Dawn DeJesus, who was prompt, welcoming, and informative. She set up our appointment with salesperson Ted Cicchino, and it was an ideal match. Ted was friendly, patient, helpful, knowledgable, and listened carefully to our concerns. At no point did we feel rushed in our decision, which was lovely. We were trading in two older vehicles for the one new car, and we were ready to negotiate. We had done our homework and knew what a fair price would be---and we were offered it! Ted, as well as Justin Gliem in Finance, made the process of transferring titles, dealing with insurance changes, and everything else really easy. When it was time to drive the new car off the lot, Dawn came out to say good-bye! I bought my previous car--also a Passat (one of the trade ins)-- from Colonial in August, 2000, and have been very impressed with their customer care and communication (Thank you, Dana!). It's why I'm a repeat customer.

Yes, when you coming to buy a car, sales people are friendly, and it is understandable why. When it's comes to the service...they trying to offer so much service for 7K miles car. Also, the service department manager Larry is not friendly and flexible. My suggestion to future buyers: If you can pay 4K-5K more, please consider high end cars such as BMW, Mercedes, they have a complimentary oil change, car inspection, breaks and much more up to 40K miles. Also, valet service for free, if you are busy person. In 4 years, difference in price will be paid off.

Everyone at Colonial was friendly and knowledgeable. Tony took the time to show me everything I was interested in, gave me a very fair trade value for my vehicle and tried very hard to accommodate my tight budget. I felt no pressure from him and the entire experience was very pleasant and quick. Would highly recommend this dealership for VW and Subaru's.

Ok, so I had the best buying experience ever at Colonial VW in Feasterville. Like a lot of people, my credit is far from decent. But I had another VW Jetta that I was financing with a company that specialized with people for bad credit and I made sure to pay my car payments each month on time to help my credit. So I went in and spoke with DJ (Dave) in sales. I kid you not when I say he did NOT PUSH me once! He was very understanding and seemed to really care and want to help me out. He found a brand new 2014 Jetta S that he said they might be able to get me into. I took a drive in it and I did like the car very much. It was only a 4cyl. compared to my 07 Jetta which was a 5cyl. but still the car was beautiful. Not only were they able to get me into the car without a down payment (and financed with VW) but also for only a little bit more each month then what I was paying on my 07 Dub. The lady in the finance department, I forget her name, tall women with short blonde hair was equally as caring and nice. They both made me feel like they were excited for me which just made me even more excited!!! I highly recommend this dealership but especially DJ. He was great!!!

Even though this dealership is about a half hour to forty five minutes away from me I will go out of my way to use them for service. My transmission was replaced with no hassle and everything was explained to me where I could understand. I'm a service advisor myself and Dennis, my advisor, gave me great service. Even the technician was friendly to me when leaving, showed me where my car was in the lot and even told me he cleaned it up for me. I left colonial with out a worry.

I was a "walk in" to Colonial Subaru. A gentleman from the Service Department, "Randy" saw me in the parking lot and welcomed me to the dealership. I explained that I was "only looking" and he stated that he understood, but would find someone to assist me. I met Dave Johnson and we spoke, comparing the Outlander and the Forrester. Since the Forrester seemed to meet my objectives, we took a test drive. I was impressed with the car and with Dave's manner- no pressure, and he answered all my questions in a friendly and professional manner. Once inside, he further explained the car and introduced me to Demain. Both men knew that I was not ready to buy any car at the time, but continued to treat me in a kind a courteous way. I am a 67 yr. old baby boomer and I bought my first car when I was 18, so I've been buying cars for almost 50 years and this is one of the few times buying a car that I left the dealership feeling I got a great deal. Tony Kuznetson was the salesman who greeted us and started us on our journey to purchasing a new Forester. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the Forester. After going through all the options that I wanted he had the sales manager, Bill Selter, appraise my trade in. The two of them came up with the right price for my trade and a great price for the Forester. I never felt pressured to buy, but the price was better than I expected, so I bought the Forester. I will definitely come back to Colonial when I decide to purchase another vehicle in the future. I will also recommend Coloinal to all my friends and family. The sales staff, Tony and Bill, were teriffic. They made car buying a pleasurable experience.

When we went to Colonial my wife was sure she wanted an Impreza. Her only must haves were a sunroof and an automatic. After a quick ride with Tony our salesman. She realized that it was a little small after coming out of a mid sized Chevy Malibu. Undaunted Tony immediately showed us a Subaru Legacy Sport sitting on the showroom floor. My wife was in love. Karen, the manager, made the car fit into the budget we set. The car is amazing, the experience of buying a car at Colonial Subaru was the best we have ever had. I'm telling all my friends and family about Colonial! My wife - she's out driving the car. I can sit in it, but can't drive it! When it's my turn to get a car Colonial Subaru will be my only stop.

We went looking for a car with a Sunroof and automatic. We were armed with all kinds of research about an Impreza, the car my wife decide would replace our Chevy Malibu. After a quick ride with Tony, our salesman, my wife realized the car was too small for her. Quick as a flash, Tony showed her a Subaru Legacy Sport, sitting on the showroom floor. My wife thought it was great! We drove it home that night! Cudos to Tony, and to Karen who made the car fit into our budget. I'm telling all my friends about Colonial. My wife? My sister had a 1988 Mercedes Benz since she turned 16 and spent her entire driving career in it. Now at the age of 22 it was time for a much needed upgrade, Johnny spent as much time with her as she needed test driving any car she wanted--- to make sure she knew what she wanted. They test drove cars as well as SUVs and he didn't force her into anything. He was completely relaxed and had all the patience in the world. Finally she narrowed it down to a 2014 subaru crosstrek. Johnny helped her through the paper work and she left with a brand new car. I was there for a majority of it and really enjoyed at how low stress it was. I owned a 2007 civic si for two years and was eager for an upgrade as well. After strolling the colonial dealership with my sister I had my eye on a wrx. I set up an appointment with Johnny a month after my sister got her car and looked at the wrx sedan and hatches. I was set on a wrx sedan and left that night with one. I would highly recommend this salesman for any future buyers at colonial. The low stress environment he created combined with his exceptional knowledge on his vehicles lead my family into getting two cars from him. He will be seeing my mom in the near future for a 2015 forester.

I have used this dealership for purchasing 2 new Subarus over the past 7 years. I went back to buy a 2014 Outback Limited. I had Tony Kuznetsov as my salesperson. They did not have the color vehicle I wanted, but Tony was able to find exactly what I was looking for and had the car at the dealership within a day.He took the time to explain all the features. He was very patient with me as I had many questions. All were answered. He walked me over to service to set up my 30 day check up. There Angela Brown set everything up to my convenience. I have dealt with her before with my 2006 Outback and she has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly refer anyone to this dealership. When I buy my next Subaru I would go directly to Tony. For my service appointments I would call Angela.

I was looking at Mini Cooper cars when I requested a quote and they wanted me to visit them. First the lady on the call said that she will send a confirmation email but I did not get any confirmations. Then I went there and they did not know who was supposed to help me and the sales person who was asked to work with us was unable to locate the car. Finally our son was hungry so we decided to leave. The parking lot is so small that when we were trying to back our car, another sales person was blocking our car with a new car that he was giving a demo to a customer. We got a dirty look as if we inconvenienced him while trying to get home to feed our son. Total waste of time and I don't plan to recommend them to anyone.

My salesman, Ted Cicchino was the best. Ted worked with me many hours over a period of several days trying to find the exact vehicle we wanted. First, we were looking for a Legacy, then when we changed our mind to an Outback. In the end we finally found a Legacy at another dealer with the options we wanted and Karen Byrd ( also outstanding) immediately pursued getting that vehicle for us. My wife and I look forward to driving our 2014 Legacy Limited. It's our first Subaru.

He even had no problem taking out a showroom car, even though it was a hassle, and I still happened to purchase the other car. My 2013 Volkswagen Passat is my favorite car since my Triumph Spitfire, now thats a comparison! Wow was I impressed!! My son came home from Air Force Basic and bought a used Subaru Impreza from another dealer. 20 days later the clutch went and the dealer disavowed themselves with lots of legalize. I had the clutch repaired and found that the car would not start. all seemed good but not a thing when the key was turned. I called Colonial with some trepidation because I have had a few bad dealings with service at other dealers. I reached Angela and she was pleasant from the beginning. I will admit that I was kinda direct and asked a lot of questions about their prices and I made sure she understood my trepidation. Angela did not miss a beat! she assured me that they stand by their repairs and she personally vouched for the mechanics there. Her honest demeanor and her willingness to listen and understand my issues convinced me to take the car to them.Well.... I just got a call from Angela and they found the problem! and... nothing needed to be replaced! The repair price was very fair and I was happy. Angela had the last word however, when she let me know that I was going to get a DISCOUNT of 10% for my son being in the military.WOW....... When I visited colonial Volkswagen Subaru, I was greeted within a reasonable amount of time, and unlike most dealers the sales representive did not try to push into buying a vehicle. Instead he was more interested in making the costumer satisfied. The staff at Colonial was extremely freindly and made you feel relaxed within the buiseness atmosphere.

Tony provided excellent service to our family. We were shopping 5 different brands and narrowed it down to 2 which is Subaru and Mazda. When time came to buy a car we decided to go with Subaru because tony our sales consultant gave us really good service and we were happy with our numbers for the car. I come from a long line of letter writers and so I had to write one about my experience at Colonial VW & Subaru. I have been buying cars for over 23 years and I think I have finally found the dealership and salesman that I will return to. I have bought cars before but never felt like I needed to return to the same place in order to get the best treatment. That has changed. I don't think I will ever go tom another now that I have been to Colonial. My salesman was Ted Cicchino and I don't think I will go anywhere else because of the treatment he gave me and my family. His style, confidence, humor and knowledge has finally made purchasing a new car, dare I say, enjoyable. Thanks you Ted.

I didn't think I would actually purchasing a new vehicle but things just fell into place as I sat with and asked questions with Ted Cicchino. I thought for sure something would not be able to get done the way I wanted and therefor could have walked away from the whole "buying a car hassle." But to my pleasant surprise, Ted was able to get everything I needed in order for my family to drive home a new car. This was our second visit to Colonial Subaru to purchase another outback. We always use this dealership for service just because this is closest dealership. This time we replaced our 08 outback with brand new 2014 outback and it was very awesome experience. Tony made things easy for us. Best price was given immediately. Delivery was fun and enjoyable. We expected to look at a few different dealers and at several different models on that day. However after we met David Johnson in the sales lot and after a test drive, many questions answered and some negotiations I drove away that afternoon in a new Subaru Crosstrek. We saw a 2010 Subaru Forester online and went in to look at it. Rick Trier showed us the one we wanted to see plus the 2011 that we ended up buying along with new ones. This was a vehicle for my wife and she also wanted to test-drive a new Impreza, which she liked a lot but not as much as the Forester. Rick was very knowledgeable and very helpful. We were comfortable all the way through the sale. I'll be on the market for another car next year and will probably buy another one from Rick and Colonial. I would recommend them highly to any of my friends.

Do not listen to sales people when they promise you something (or everything). They lie.If they promise you oil changes, it means only first oil change is covered.If they promise you inspections, it means state inspection is covered only and emission inspection cost includes both.If they promise you car washes, be prepared to wait at least an hour.Do not believe that you can spend Loyalty Cash on maintenance or repairs. They allow to use 10% only which is close to nothing.Double check everything. It is not the place where you want to come again.Most likely the five star reviews are all fake.

Manager was even so concerned about my wife's blood sugar, he insisted we go have mdinner (on them) whilpe the car wasbeing prepared for lus to kdrive it home. Salesman (Rick Trier) even transferred our personal belongings from the old to the new. All around a very good car buyinig experience. Wewillp certainly buy any future cars here.

I've visited this dealership twice looking to buy a car and both times, I left shaking my head wondering how they stay in business. Visit #1: my salesman personified the "car salesman" negative stereotypes you see on TV: loud, non-stop flattery, a bit sexist and seemed very insincere. Visit #2: I inquired online about a specific car model and set up an appointment to see it. I arrived for my appointment only to find out that they did not have ANY of that model in stock... but would I like to test drive another car? I couldn't believe it. I never heard back from either salesperson, although the internet coordinator who set up my appointment had the nerve to call back a few days later asking how I liked the car and had no idea that there were none in stock. Clueless! Oh, and on visit #1, there was a free lunch available for customers... nice touch, but no paper plates were provided and by the time they got some, the dealership staff had helped themselves to most of the food. (they all had their own Tupperware containers)

My wife and I were looking at a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek Premium Edition. We test drove the vehicle at another dealership and really liked it. We really wanted a white one and found out they are hard to come by. We called Colonial and they said let's see if we can track one down for you. Our salesman Rick tracked a white one coming in a week later. Rick is a very good salesman as he went over everything in detail. Thanks to Rick we now own a white Subaru Crosstrek. My wife was looking for an 06' wrangler and Colonial had one on Auto Trader that looked nice. Rick met us in the parking lot and found the car quickly in the back of the lot. As we already knew that was the only car we were interested in, my wife test drove it and decided she wanted it. Justin was the finance person and did his best to get us the price we wanted and we ended up with a 5 year warranty for less than we thought. We were out the door quickly with the vehicle we wanted. A short week later, there was an issue with handling at high speeds and I took the car back. Rick was there and took me back to customer service. He told me that if there was any problems to let him know, but there were not. The service tech (sorry can't remember his name) was great. He went above and beyond to make sure that the the issue was resolved. He even took off the hard top that came with it and put on the soft top for us, and helped me get the hard top into my truck. Couple this with the life time free inspection and other services and our experience was great. I would definitely go back for a new Subaru or Volkswagen in the future.

I went to Colonial, first, because Ginny DeLeon (their internet person) contacted me - I found them on a Google search. When I drove to Feasterville, which is the closest VW dealer to me, I found a nice selection of cars - and the exact one I was looking for - a 2013 Beetle convertible. Salesman Rick Trier gave me his undivided attention, allowed me to take it on an extended test drive and convinced me that this was the right car. I was ready to come back "the next day" to get the car, but they expedited things while I was there - so I drove in in a 2012 Ford Focus, drove him in a 2013 Beetle convertible. It was a good experience.

I bought a hardtop convertible VW EOS in 2012, although I was very happy with the car, I saw the 2013 VW beetle convertible in the showroom while my EOS was there for inspection. It was love at first sight! I went right to salesman Dave Johnson. I told him what I wanted and how much cash I wanted to put out with my trade. In no time he was on the phone with me telling me he found the car I wanted equipped with everything I asked for and more! He showed me how everything worked on the car, set my phone up with the car and reminded me not to hesitate to call him if I had any questions. I can honestly say that this is the first time I've enjoyed the car buying process. On the sales side Shawn Keogler was prompt, polite and always professional. The few questions he didn't answer before I asked them were promptly taken care of afterward. Every time I called for information he was available or someone else stepped in and took care of the issue immediately. This is my second time dealing with this dealership. I am very happy to be back! They gave me exactly the price I asked for my trade in vehicle and the gave me even a better price on my new purchase. After all "money" is a very important factor to us all. Some dealerships are very nice with customer service and most of the time you will spend entire day off negotiating a price. My experience with this dealership is amazing. I walked in twice and spend only one hour at a time purchasing a 40,000 dollar vehicle. My seals man did not waist any of my days off from work. Everything was prepared and done on the phone, when I walked in everything was ready. All I had to do is sing papers. There was no running around trying to ripp you off and waist time! Rick Trier was the type of sales person who makes you feel relaxed rather then pressured. I went to one other dealer before I stopped at Colonial and met Rick. After the initial meeting his friendly approach had me convinced that he was who I was going to deal with. This was possibly the most pleasant dealership experience I have had yet! I definitely want to buy from this dealership again and tell everyone that wants a subaru or vw that this is no doubt the best place to go where they will take care of you and work with you to get the car you WANT! This was an outstanding experience in buying an automobile. From the online contact with Bella Versace through our Costco membership, to the finanace discussion with Lorraine Dugan, it could not have gone smoother. RICK TRIER APPROACHED PROMPTLY ON THE SPOT AS I WALKED OVER TO VIEW THE VEHICLE, OFFERED A TEST RIDE AND WORKED TO HELP MEET OUR BUDGET CONSTAINTS. THE FINANCE MANAGER LORRAINE DUGAN WAS EXCELLENT AT WORKING THE BEST FINANCE TERMS TO CLOSE THE DEAL. Stopped in to many dealerships while looking for a new car and was pleasantly surprised to find a friendly, smart salesman for a change. Ted was a breath of fresh air. He had all the answers we were looking for and made the process so easy to understand. I wish we had come to Colonial and met Ted first. He worked very hard to get us the deal we needed. Called us back when he said he would and just made it a great experience. We never felt like we were being taken advantage of. He knows what he is talking about and we couldn't have asked for more. I have bought a few new cars in my time but never had a salesman so pleasant and easy to deal with. Every one should go to Colonial and ask for Ted. Thanks Ted, Chris.

Ted is the man. He got me a great car that I could afford, was very honest and personable, and told me everything I needed to know. If I did have a question that he could not answer, he made sure he found out for me. I would recommend anyone interested in a new or used VW or Subaru to go to Colonial and see Ted.

When I told her what I wanted, she called me back in ten minutes and gave me the total cost of a Passat lease per month plus the cost of new tags. I couldn't believe how fast she worked and how precise she was when she gave me the information I needed. No other car dealer I contacted gave me the information I needed without telling me I had to visit the showroom and talk to them face to face. If I was looking to hire someone who knows how to work with people and make them feel like they are important to my business, I'd hire Ginny. Colonial VW is lucky to have people like Ginny working for them. By the way, Colonial's lease price (for a mid sized car) was better than any dealer (Ford, Chevy, Kia, Toyota or Honda) in Bucks or Montgomery County. John Churchville, PA

As first time car buyers, we were obviously skeptical of the entire purchasing process. After a few so-so experiences at other dealerships, we were unsure of what to expect. Our experience at Colonial was by far our most comfortable. Teds conversational and upfront demeanor created an atmosphere that made what is typically a stressful situation, much more relaxing. Justin was very helpful when it came time to discuss numbers and financing options. We walked away very pleased with not only our purchase, but our overall experience with Ted, Justin, and Colonial VW.

He also made sure I understood all the controls and had my new car detailed and beautiful before I left. I even received a follow up telephone call from him today to make sure I was happy and had no further questions. Lorraine got me an even better interest rate than the good I already had been pre-approved for. She re-worked figures several times so that I got the best deal. Overall, a great buying experience.

Went to colonial to buy my first brand new car. I went in knowing I was going to buy the new subaru Crosstrek. Had a really great experience. I worked with Rick Trier and Albert Meeks. I brought my mother to negotiate for me because she is a notorious pit bull. This occasion was no different, she terrorized these fellas. They did everything in their power to make her (and intern me) happy. We reached a deal. The financing process was awesome, Erica Kopp was wonderful to work with in the financing department. All in all, this was a great experience, and I highly recommend the working with these people if Subaru is your bag.

Bought a 2010 Audi R8 from these guys. Love the car! Friendly service and familiarity with this highly specialized vehicle from Tony, which was refreshing as I find most salesman don't even know the brands they sell... much less a brand they don't. I even got to finalize the deal with Eric, President if the dealership, who was also very friendly and a car enthusiast like myself. I left feeling good about my trade in value after negotiation and like I got a fair deal on my purchase. All in all, very pleased with Colonial VW/Subaru.

I bought my car from Ruben MIlanes and received the upmost customer service and care not just from him but his fellow comrades as well. I was greeted by everyone when I walked in the door. Ruben was quite patient and aided me in every way that he could to ensure that I was confident in my decision, and he did not pressure me into buying. When it was time to negotiate a price, he worked with me and was very reasonable. The most important part is that Ruben kept in contact with me for months prior to the day of my purchase to notify me of vehicles that he thought would interest me based on what I initially expressed to him and he did not give up until he found me a car that had exactly what I wanted in my price range. I would certainly recommend anyone considering buying a car to do so with Ruben Milanes.

I have been coming to Colonial Subaru for 20 years. With each visit I know that I will receive good quality service. I have been dealing with Rob for a lot of years and he knows how I feel about my cars. He tells me what my car needs and what will be done and he makes sure that its done. If some weird symbol comes on the screen, I call him and he explains what it means and if its something not to worry about. I really appreciate all of Robs help. Thank you

Colonial was the third dealership that I visited to purchase a new car. From the time I entered the showroom everyone I encountered was professional and friendly. Rick Trier, Albert Meeks, and Justin Gliem all took the time to explain my options and be sure I was comfortable with my purchase. Chris was very good at explaining how to set up the features on the car and even took the time to set up the bluetooth for me.I am very happy with my new car and would highly recommend this dealership.

I usually view a trip to a new car dealer like a trip to my dentist, sometimes painful but necessary. I can truthfully say that Working with Shawn was a pain-free, pleasant, experience. There was no pressure, no gimmicks. Shawn explained everything he needed to do to get us the Subaru we wanted and why he had to do it that way. We always knew what was going on as we proceeded from the test drive, to the price negotiation, through the financing to receiving the keys to our Subaru and driving home. The whole process took less than two hours once we had decided on the Subaru we wanted. While waiting for the paperwork to be completed, we were approached no less than five times by various staff members asking us if there was anything they could do for us. The Colonial advertizement you see most often, "if you can't make a deal with me you can't make a deal with anybody", is really true. These people will work with you. They want you to be more than satisfied with not only your new vehicle, but the entire buying and service experience. When you step through the door at Colonial Volkswagon/Subaru, be sure to ask for Shawn.

I was skeptical at first because I visited two other VW dealers in Bucks County and was not very impressed. At Colonial everyone was friendly and seemed to care about "their" name and what they represent. Rick was knowledgeable, personable, but not over pushy which I really appreciated. The value I paid for the car I got was well worth it and I'm extremely happy. The whole process was very pleasant and organized. I would recommend Colonial and Rick to anyone interested in purchasing a VW.

My wife and I were looking to purchase a 2013 Outback 2.5i Limited with the Special Appearance Package. These cars are very hard to come by, so we searched until we found a dealership that had one in stock. We made contact with Ginny who informed us that Colonial had one in stock, so we made the trip from Scranton to try and make a deal. We were trading a pristine 2010 Forester X Limited with just 30k on it. During the process of the trade evaluation, it was discovered that (by mistake) there was an entry on the Carfax report that our car was stolen. Obviously, we were shocked. We could not make a deal that day as no one could answer any questions on saturday. Rick made it his mission in life for 3 days to get to the bottom of the situation. I felt like i talked to Rick more than my wife, as no one at the dealership had ever heard of a situation such as this. Rick stayed in constant contact with us through the process. He is an outstanding salesman. Also, the finance process was handled by Justin, who fought for us to get a great finance rate on the new car. Overall a great experience. Plus, when we picked up our new car, they had a catered mini chinese buffet laid out for everyone at the dealership to have lunch! Thanks everyone!

This was my first new car purchase and we didn't think it was going to be possible, and it probably wouldn't have been, if not for Ted! He helped us from start to finish and was extremely honest and forthcoming. I've bought used cars in the past and this was by far the best experience ever. Ted genuinely cared and wanted us to be comfortable with the purchase. His never say die attitude kept us in the game and he provided us with so many options to best solve our needs. If your thinking of buying a vw, stop in colonial and ask for Ted.

In 2004 my husband and I purchased our first Subaru Forester from Colonial. Our Subaru has only been dealer serviced at Colonial and our Service Manager Rob Migliaccio has been absolutely the best. Since purchasing our first Subaru my brother-in-law bought an Outback, our nephew bought a new Impreza recently and now in 2012 we just purchased our second Subaru Forester. The purchasing experience has been great, Rick Trier, our Salesman was very kowledgeable about the vechile, very patient with us, and was sure that we would be purchasing another Subaru Forester. Manager Albert Meeks was also helpful with our buying experience. Thank you to Lorraine Dugan for her expertise in the financial portion of purchasing our new vehicle. Not being a fan of "car shopping" and the hassle of pressure sales or gimmicks, Shawn Keogler immediately put my mind at ease- and I actually enjoyed my experience acquiring my new Impreza. I was really excited to buy this new Volkswagon Convertible and because of this I was off offered and accepted a really bad lease offer that was $4000 over the current special that they were running. I felt like I was taken advantage of. A couple days after the sale my husband and I asked if we could purchase the car outright and were refused.

I went there already knowing what I wanted - a 2012 Subaru Forester. They wasted hours of my time while they threw lots of sales pitches at me (I was already sold- I just needed to hear the right numbers!). They made me watch videos on Subaru and they talked to me about how much I could afford each month. I felt like they saw me as someone they could take advantage of. In the end when they finally got around to appraising my trade in I was horrified and disappointed and almost gave up the idea of getting a new car completely. A week later I went to FRED BEANS in Doylestown. They appraised my trade in at $13,500, which was $4,500 more than they offered me at Colonial. I also found Fred Beans' sales team to have a higher caliber of business etiquette all around and felt they had a genuine interest in their customers' satisfaction longterm over winning them over to make a sale immediately.

I visited this dealership as a person with not-so-perfect credit. John Morris called me telling me that he already had an approval for my loan and we would "walk away happy". This was not the case. In the beginning I told John what I wanted and if he could not provide this I understood as I was not in dire need of a new car. He assured me he could get me what I wanted. On the day of delivery, John brought us in his office and had done exactly what he assured me he would not, lied through his teeth. He did not get me what I needed for my trade in and had marked the new car up $2200 in what he called "bank fees". When I asked to see the papers from the bank showing these fees I was told "they are difficult to prove". I felt very taken advantage of, my time was wasted, and I would NEVER recommend this dealer, especially John as a salesman. Bad credit or not, I deserve the truth. I was up front with my expectations with John and expected real answers, which apparently he could not provide!

Several years ago we went to Colonial to purchase a Subaru Forester. We purchased another vehicle that better suited our needs. Everyday (for about 2 weeks) since our test drive at Colonial we received phone calls asking if we were going to buy. I told them that please do not call back. I was told they have a right to call us. We decided to give them another try this year. We asked for information via their internet site. Phone call after phone call, non-stop. We purchased a Subaru at another dealership. I received another phone call from Colonial and told them that we already purchased. I thought this was the end, NOT!!! Today I received another phone call telling me all about their current offers. Even when you tell them that you already purchased, they still call. Dealership NOT RECOMMENDED due to harrassment.

Went to buy a Subaru, dealt with Rick whom I found to be relaxed and knowledgeable. must say 12 cars and 40 yrs of driving I've never had a better dealer/customer transaction. Rick went out of his way to accomate us. I got the car. To my delight and surprise-a follow up call! Never had one from a car salesman before and I'm hard to impress! Going to Rick from now on. One thing I truly appreciated about Rick was that he was in no way condescending, me being a female buyer. I was shown the utmost respect and dignity and the laid back feel was just what I've always wanted. I plan to purchase a car for my son next year and will certainly give that opportunity to Rick. Just an all around good guy, hard to come by these days!

My husband and I recently purchased a Subaru Outback from Colonial. David Johnson was our salesman and he did a great job, very professional and knowledgeable. He was always polite, attentive, and never pushy. We received first class attention from Dave, Chuck and Erica. David had our new car prepped and ready for us; he also was able to hook up our phones to the bluetooth and set a number of channels to the SAT to get us started. He was very quick and knowledgeable about the many features of the car and able to guide us through set ups. Colonial offers many services to its customers which will encourage us to return there again. We would highly recommend Colonial and David Johnson.

He was very helpful in the following ways: Very professional, I told him my price range and he stayed within the limits (didn't try to sell me something I couldn't afford), he was courteous and very patient, I never felt rushed even though it was closing time. Went in for service and because of our years of positive experience with service bought a new car on the condition that the Subaru service associate, Rob, be sure to remain with the dealership. I have been looking for a 2012 VW Touareg for aboout a week going around to four diffrent dealers. When I came into Colonial VW they greated me as if I was family. They made me feel very comfortable and the dealership was very nice, bright with some music in the backround. Dave Johnson asked how he could help And I told him what i wanted and that this would be for my wife and new son. I told him were I wanted to be as far as price and options. They had the exact car i was looking for where other dealers told me they would have to order and they had a wide selection of Touaregs. Sitting down with the managers, finance specialist, and even service manager to answer any and all of my questions. They get a 5 star rating for my overall experience i had at Colonial VW and in the way they took care of me. They really knocked it out of the park with this deal going above and beyond to make me happy!

Financing was quick, simple, and painless - no pressure to purchase "extras" that I really didn't want. I even had a chance to meet and chat with the owner. I did my homewore and visited several other dealerships but decided to go with Colonial Subaru because they offered extra "perks" and made this purchase my best car buying experience EVER! That's a lot to say coming from someone who is a tried and true Honda owner - not anymore - I have "crossed over"!

Shortly after purchasing my Subaru Outback there was a warranty issue with reprogramming the ECU, where Colonial Subaru had my car for about two weeks. When my car was finished, I did my usual walk around of the car and found a long scratch on the hood. The service department was kind enough to have the detailer on duty to wet sand the scratch and buff it out, the problem is he didnt wash off the compound and as a result I had globs of compound that dried rock hard. They could not be removed. I was assured they would take care of the problem. Their fix was to use touch up paint to cover it up. After several calls and appointments Dennis decided to go ahead and repaint the hood of the car, although for another reason (acid rain damage on a car that is not even two years old). When I went to pick up the car the paint job was fantastic, however my driver side door did not open or close properly, because it had been hyper extended. There are several finger prints on the headliner of the car that I dont know how to remove, my driver side sun visor was broken and I have just realized that the trim panels in my trunk are broken and rattle. There was no need to remove interior panels to paint the hood of my car. Every time I took my car in for service things were returned BROKEN or SCRATCHED.

This was my first visit to this dealership and I was not disappointed. We were lucky to walk in the door and be immediately greeted by who turned out to be our salesman Shawn Koegler. We told him we wanted to look at a specific used car and he quickly got the keys and license plate for a test drive. Shawn was friendly and helpful. He was patient with all my questions and did not pressure us into any decision. We discussed our concerns of what we thought needed to be done to the car before we agreed to purchase it. Shawn assured us that all items we mentioned would be taken care of. Upon agreeing to purchase the car Shawn explained each step and made the process a pleasant one. I came into the Volkswagen dealership looking to test out some new cars and luckily I got to work with Shawn Keogler, who was such a helpful person throughout the whole process. He was very patient with me as I went through the inventory and as I asked questions. He was just a real pleasure to work with! I was still looking to test drive other cars before I made my decision. Shawn just wanted me to be happy with whatever car I decided to make my own, whether it was with his dealership or not. So he did not pressure me to make a sale on the spot, which I really appreciated. He made it a really friendly and enjoyable experience. Not sure what type of car.The salesman Eric, let me drive as many cars as I wanted(which wasn't many)and let me take as long as I wanted.I'm not always the nicest person when I think someone is trying to sell me something so this man had to put up with me for a long period of time. I could't make up my mind which car I wanted and i was there for a minimum of 8 hours. God bless them.He put up with me for a good while and tried like hell to get me to buy this car I wanted but didn't really want to spend the money.He did a fantastic job and I bought this car and I love it. I did a guaranteed price dealership via Consumer Reports. Ofcourse all VW Dealership in the area started to contact us. Just when we were on our way to buy the car, Colonial called and promised to beat the price by $250. Yes Marty kept his word and we got Jetta SE for a good price. Service was phenomenal. From salesperson to GM, from Business Office to the service guy, everyone was extremely friendly, and accomodating. They all exhibited highest level of professionalism, unseen and unheard off in my 5 previous experiences. My wife and I were looking to purchase a certified pre-owned VW EOS. After searching the online inventory of all VW dealerships in a 100 mile radius, we found a 2010 VW EOS at Colonial VW with a very attractive sales price. After reading about the incentives and perks offered by Colonial we were determined to purchase our vehicle from their dealership. I called the dealership to inquire if the car was for sale and spoke with Rick Trier. He was very professional and friendly and answered all the questions I had regarding this vehicle. We were able to negotiate a price over the phone and I gave him a small deposit to hold the vehicle for two days until my wife and I could travel the 2 hours to see the car in person. Prior to arriving at the dealership, Rick called and said he would have the vehicle fully detailed and waiting for our inspection. We arrived at the dealership around 6:15pm on a Friday evening. Our VW EOS was sitting outside looking better than brand new. Rick came out and met us and asked if we were ready to test drive the car. He escorted us inside to retrieve the keys and also offered us a drink. Rick then afforded us the opportunity to take two test drives due to us having our two sons with us. Due to the quality of the pictures and description of the vehicle on Colonial's website, we were not disappointed at all once we saw the vehicle in person. After test driving the vehicle, Rick introduced us to Joe Inglima, Colonial's Business Manager. Joe thoroughly explained all the necessary paperwork that needed to be completed to finalize the sale. He explained the extended warranties that were available but at no time pressured us into purchasing them. The paperwork was competed in a very efficient and expeditious manner. After all paperwork was complete, we met with Rick again who showed us all the options the VW EOS had and how everything worked. Rick also paired our cell phones to the vehicles Bluetooth system and assisted us in establishing our satellite radio account. By 8:30pm we were leaving the dealership with our VW EOS.Rick was great throughout the entire sales process. He called the next day to see how our ride home was and to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase.This was truly the best car buying experience we had by far. She was very polite, had a very nice attitude. What really amazed me was I had a pre approval from my credit union. Did ask until agrreded on a car. They even tried to match or better. I know this dealership for many years. I have to say that previously it was not the best place for buying or leasing car. However now it is a completely different business: excellent Subaru team, very friendly people, and good selection of the cars. Larry Feldman, manager, is an amazing person: very friendly and knowledgeable professional; he really understands the customers needs. He gave me several very helpful financial advices. Also I would like to say a few words about Randy Walker. He showed me as many cars as I wanted. I could test several cars. And, it seems to me, Randy was ready to show me and test with me all cars that he had on the parking lot. I did not feel any presser from him and Larry Feldman. Everything was done nicely, without any presser. This new Subaru is my fourth Subaru in a row. I began to drive my first Subaru Forester in 1999. If you are looking for reliable car with very good gas mileage, dont even think twice there is only one car and it is Subaru (any model). Believe me I could compare Subaru with Infinity (FX35 is my second car), Lexus 330 (my friends have it), AVD Mercedes. There is nothing to discuss: if you need to make a show for your neighborhood and then to have a problem in show day go to Mercedes dealership. If you want to be safe at any time you have no choice you should go to the nearest Subaru dealership.

On Monday May 31st I had made a decision to look for a new car.I was actually just shopping to see what kind of trade in value I could get for my Beetle. My husband's and my luck had run out. Our only car was totalled on I-95. Without any means to physically go out and hunt dealer to dealer, we started searching online. First to catch our attention was the consumer ratings on Subaru itself... and the resale value they hold. Searching near our zip code, Colonial was among the listings that popped up. We called ... and Bella was the first to greet us on the phone. She had us at "Hello!" What an awesome "first contact" to have ... first impressions really are lasting... and it only got better from there! Bella listened to our tale of financial woe and connected us to Bob Andersen. Bob listened to our particular details and based on what we explained, he had us fill out a loan application online. Less than 15 minutes after hitting "SEND," Bob called us to say, "we can help you! I'll pick you up in 45 minutes!"Bob picked us up in one of the 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport wagons that we mentioned from seeing their inventory online. I was able to do my test drive from our driveway to the Colonial dealership! Perfect! The car just felt "right" both from my side as driver and from my husband's perspective in the passenger seat. There was no pressure from Bob whatsoever... it was clear that he was a man of his word and his main onbjective was to make sure we were comfortable about every aspect of the deal ... from the car itself, to the financing details, to any upgrades we did or didn't want!Within 2 hours, papers were signed, the car was detailed, the roof rack was installed, a detailed demonstration of every button and knob was given... it just got more and more comfortable with NO pressure whatsoever! We drove OUR Subaru Impreza home that night!We are beyond pleased with Colonial Volkswagen Subaru... I went to Colonial looking for a preowned car. As the salesperson was pulling out the car for me to test drive it, another mechanic was backing up as well and lightly collided with the car, causing a slight scratch on the paint job. The sales guy acted like it's nothing and shrugged it off! Already feeling suspicious, I went inside the showroom to negotiate on the pricing only to find out there was no negotiation to be done. The sales guy immediately brings out his manager and he started pressuring me into buying the car, even resorting to lame tactics like pretending to talk to someone and then warning me that he just received an offer from someone on that car and that I'd have to sign the papers right away. I walked out of the showroom. I wanted to keep my options open so, I asked them for a quote on a new car. I told them another dealership offered me a lower price. Colonial was willing to match that price. Colonial also had $250 coupon online which says that after negotiating my best deal, I can apply that coupon for additional discount. When I inquired about it, Colonial said that the coupon doesn't count. It doesn't speak very highly of a dealership which doesn't honor what it says on the coupon. They are using false advertising to think that you're getting the best deal! Well, I went to Piazza dealership and they gave me the price that I would've gotten with the coupon discount. So, be wary when dealing with Colonial. Piazza gave me the best price of all the dealerships upfront and I was still able to negotiate further while Colonial only matched other dealership's pricing.

I came in for 2011 VW GTI . There weren't any there with automatic transmission but they found one in delaware. It was perfect and had everything we wanted. We put a down payment for the car Wednesday and the car arrived Saturday. No scratches, it was spotless. Everyone was very friendly and we couldn't ask for a better car buying experience.

I went into the dealership looking specifically for a Jetta Wolfsburg. The website stated there was a 2008 with 35K, Rick retrived the key. When we went out to look at the car it was a Jetta SE. Here I thought Rick was giving me the switch-er-roo and I went off on him. He remained calm and didnt say anything negative. I went to another sales rep (Shawn)to explain I was displeased. I wanted to if the car was actually available. Well, we come to find out the Key set for the Wolfsburg edition didnt match the inventory. So , Rick grabed the correct keys afterall, they just didnt match the inventory. I appologized to Rick, he acted like it was a typical day at he office..No Biggy!After which , we couldnt find the car I was looking for so Rick suggested a walk around the lot...spent time actually looking and found a different Wolfsburg that came in the night before, which was exactly the one I wanted. The Car wasnt fully processed and ready to show,however, Ruck managed to get the the paper worked needed so we could test drive it.He and the sales manager worked out a price and I purchased it.Rich was perfessional even during adversity. He managed to continue working as nothing happened. He was friendly.I would recommend Colonial sales team to anyone looking for a car.The entire staff was awesome..More than one sales person offered me lunch (even though I wasnt their client..thanks Shawn).Thanks Rick. If we didnt physically look I would still be shopping for a wolfsburg Blk on Blk.

This review was requested by the dealer. Their behavior was very professional, and everything was expedited so that we did not have to spend too much downtime. We were not really prepared to shop that day, but they were flexible enough in the financing so that we were able to complete the transaction that day.

After searching for cars on the internet, I chose colonial for my new Forester Premium. The internet manager met me and referred me to a floor sales associate, Dave, who was experienced and very helpful. The manager, Marty, checked in with us regularly. Bottom line, they matched the best price I had found on the internet and it was an excellent deal. I was also given the top dollar for my trade. The finance associate, Lorraine, was friendly and easy to deal with. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this dealership. I had purchased a VW car from them previously and was also very pleased with the service department.I was very prepared going into the dealership with pricing, options and financing so all they needed to do was meet my expectations. I was very satisfied with the outcome.

My wife & I had negotiated a very good deal on an Outback at a NJ dealer from which we've leased our last 3 cars. The deal included an early termination of a lease on a 2008 turbo Legacy GT with low mileage. While that dealer was trying to locate the model/color we wanted, I checked Edmunds.com just for curiosity and discovered that Colonial had 3 of the same model/color in stock. I drove the Legacy to Colonial the next day, not really expecting to do any better than I had with the NJ dealer, but I was very plesantly surprised. The salesman was easy to work with, seemed to really care about what I wanted, and was obviously willing to deal. I ended up with the model I wanted, in the color I wanted, with an upgraded options package... and at the same price as the NJ dealer. It was a true win-win, and I drove the new Outback home the same day. To top it all off, my wife -- who had resisted giving up the Legacy -- immediately fell for the Outback. Now she couldn't be happier. I am very impressed with the salesman and the dealership... what a great experience! If my first service visit turns out to be as good as this, Colonial will have earned a new long-term customer, for sure.

He asked a lot of questions about our driving needs and worked with us to get us a new car for our soon-to expand family. I am very pleased with the 2006 Certified VW GTI that I purchased from Colonial VW/Subaru, and with the service I received during the process. I purchased a great car at the right price, and Colonial included a new set of upgraded tires, a beefed-up warrantee, low-interest financing, and even a catchy GTI key ring. It is clear to me that customer satisfaction is the primary focus at Colonial. I was very pleased with the sales staff overall, but did have reservation with my primary sales person who wasnt as informative or proactive as he could have been.

Number one, there was no reason to go to another dealer to compare price. I knew I was getting the best price.Second, I never would have thought I would enjoy spending my Saturday afternoon buying a car.But my experience at Colonial was so good I was in no hurry to leave and I actually enjoyed watching the other custumers and sales people conducting their business. I have a wife and two children,one starting to drive and the other two years away.I will not hesitate to return to Colonial to purchase a car for them.

I recently purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback from Colonial. Mike Boyle was my salesman. It was a very pleasant, no hassle experience. Colonial's price was competitive, and Mike secured the color and options that I wanted on the car. The car was ready when I needed it, and Mike went over all of the new gadgets and features of the vehicle. I was introduced to the service staff and received a tour of the whole dealer facility. Everyone was friendly and made me feel that they appreciated my business. I look forward to returning for service.

I've been leasing Subaru vehicles from this location every 4 years for 20 years from Colonial Subaru and have had a pleasant experience everytime. That is the reason I keep coming back beacause of the courteous service, friendly atmosphere, and the bottom line is my monthly payments are always forefront and workable.

I shopped fir a used certified Subaru and ended up finding one 3 hours from my house. I called and spoke to mike b and he explained the vehicle to me like it was brand new.he assured me the expearence and way of bussiness there was completly different than I have ever expearenced and he was 109% right I have purchased 5 subarus in the past and this expearence by far is like no other I thank mike and.all the staff over at colonial, , I live in maryland and this expearence has been so good I might consider getting my car serviced there

My current was totalled so I was in the market for an AWD and found Colonial Subaru. The staff were all very nice and patient. My sales guy, Art Reyes was entertaining and not pushy at all. We took two different cars on test drives and it was snowing which made the AWD test drive the best it could be (and so fun). Art has followed up with me and will be part of my Subaru experience as long as necessary. "Money talk" was thorough and they made sure we understood everything from financing to extended warranties to the Loyalty Program. The paperwork was quick and efficient and everything was taken care of before I drove the car off the lot. It's a gorgeous car - my experience at Colonial was wonderful and I'm sure it will be thru the life of my Forester. I would recommend Colonial - and Art Reyes - to anyone interested in checking out Subarus or Volkswagons.

Albert worked very hard to get us the car we wanted for the price we could afford. He had a great personality and we really enjoyed working with him.

My dad recommended Michael to my wife and I. We bought a 2010 Forrester. We got the car for 100 above invoice. When it was time to buy another vehicle. I test drove a few cars and I want an Outback. Michael gave us a great price. I would highly recommend Michael and Colonial Subaru. We also service the Forrester there and they are always prompt and very careful.

This was our third purchase of a Subaru from Colonial since 1998. We are sold on the safety, reliability, and handling in bad weather of Subarus. I am also a member of a professional organization that participates in the Subaru VIP program and we appreciate the no haggling price guarantee of the program. The convenience and distance to the dealership brought us in for our first purchase and the sales and service experience with our 2 previous purchases brought us back. We were not disappointed on this visit either. Initial contact by e-mail with information and contact information was helpful. We were greeted promptly by Randy who showed us models that fit our needs, took us on a test drive, demonstrated features, and answered our questions. He was very friendly and helpful and introduced us to Mike Boyle who works with the VIP program. Mike and Mrs. Boyle continued to give us information on the car and different programs, as well as, work on the paperwork. Although we did have a Auto Draft for a pre-approved car loan, the woman (L.H?) from finance found us one at a better rate ( I think having our pre-approved loan was helpful here) and discussed service contracts, etc. She provided information without pressure to select any specific item. The experience was very positive and we left with a new car.My husband was even able to pick up an accessory for his Forrester which he mentioned in discussion that he needed.

This is a follow up to a negative review. The vehicle is a 2008 Impreza, Subaru Certified. Apparently, they read this stuff . I contacted the dealer to see if they ever ordered my replacement hubcaps, as agreed to in the sale. Oops, they forgot, what a surprise!! Well, at that point, I let the salesman have a piece of my mind( I'm being P.C. here) about how I had been treated, how the service writer blew me off, not expecting me to pull the wheels myself and check the brakes. It seems that not only were the pads and rotors bad, but the 3 out of the 4 caliper piston boots were torn also. This car wouldn't pass inspection anywhere, let alone PA state and Subaru Certified. They figured I would bring the car in for service at some point and they would SELL me a very expensive brake job. ( over $600 for pads, rotors and calipers). Well they figured wrong. The salesman (Mike) asked me to document what had happened with the brakes and send it to him. I did so, and was contacted very shortly by some manager there( apparently, everyone that works there is some sort of manager) asking me to please bring my car back so they could check it. I asked what for, because they didn't do anything before, why waste my time?I was assured that the car would be fixed properly, and that I would be reimbursed for whatever I had put into the car, and get a loaner. With much trepidation, I took the car back. Two days later, I got it back with new Subaru ( not aftermarket) front calipers, my upgraded pads and rotors and new rear brakes !! It's nice that they made good on what should have NEVER happened. They violated the dealer-customer trust thing beyond description, and treated me like I was an idiot the first time. They were much better the second ( and third) time. I still will not go back there EVER, unless it's fo fix something they messed up . Oh, did I mention I had to take the car back to have the brakes adjusted 2 days later? The pedal was down halfway to the floor !!

They really low-ball you on trade-in value. Knowing what another dealership has already offered me, the Sales Manager Mr. William Seltzer & company still gave me a trade-in value that was much lower. Mr. Seltzer and his gang simply sat smugly and said that because I don't have a "clean" Carfax report (i.e., I was rear-ended 5 years ago, the damage was minor and the repair cost, paid by the other party's insurance, was only around $2K), they "could not sell my car". At this juncture, I wondered whether I was either dealing with a bunch of idiots who do not know how to use common sense, or they simply did not want my business. I think it's a little bit of both. Within my sight and hearing, they talked down to my sales guy, Randy, who was nothing but friendly and helpful. Their suggestion to me: Sell the car myself. They did not give me any option, but instead handed me my keys so I could leave.I know car-buying is supposed to be stressful, but Mr. Seltzer and his gang gave me a nightmare. They were insulting, condescending, uncompromising, and arrogant. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! They will offer you bells and whistles - smokescreen for their unfair and unprofessional business model. And if you decide to go there anyway, make sure you know the value of the vehicle you're trading in

Colonial Subaru saves you time, shoe leather, and fuel when purchasing a Subaru.Their Internet personnel have high knowledge of the cars available, the options on the vehicles, and, most important, the ability to listen to a consumer's needs and concerns. Ginny DeLeon was my Internet representative. She was patient with the multiple questions and phone calls that gave me the information I needed to buy my car. Ginny sold me the desire to walk into the showroom and discuss a deal with Mike.Of all the dealers who contacted me, Subaru has the most well trained upfront personnel I encountered in my car purchasing experience.Mike was a consumer's sales person as he listened to my needs and offered appropriate options to consider. The car I purchased was my decision. Mike's professional manner is one of servicing the consumer's wants and the way they will use the vehicle. That style of doing business made me feel very good about the great deal I received at Colonial.Joe, the business manager, showed proprietorship to his part of the deal. He was organized, methodical in explaining every paper needed to be signed, and yet, maintained an appropriate level of personable service. Packages that are available were fully explained with no pressure to purchase but he gave intelligent reasons as to why they are offered. The packages can be selected within a short time after the purchase, no hard sell or pushy approach, just informing the consumer of what is offered.After the sale I realized I left my EZPass transponder in my old car. Before I called them to get it, they had already put it aside for me to pick it up. Cameron and Rob were service people I spoke with and they just made the good feeling I had about the car I bought, go higher. I recommend that anyone considering buying a Subaru, go to Colonial for one stop shopping or at least put it on a list as a place to visit via Internet or in person.

Everyone at Colonial was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their product. The finance specialist, Karen really is a pleasure to work with. Rick who was the car salesman was helpful in recommending cars in my price range. I never felt pressured by anyone there. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good deal on a new or used car!

I would just say it was a GREAT experience I had at Colonial Subaru.First, I would like to thank Mike Boyle and his staff Bella Versace, Ginny DeLeonfor the best customer service. Before I actually met Mike, I had spoken with Ginny and Bella and they were above and beyond answering all the questions and concerns I had both on line and on the phone. Not only helping me buy my desired car with a great deal, but also Mike took care of my questions even after the deal. There was no wonder why many people complimented his work so much. His explanation was accurate and honest and always put his best foot forward when he was talking to me and my wife. And I would like to extend my gratitude to Joseph, the finance manager. He was not one of the presumptuous and pushy finance managers that you can meet easily in other dealerships. Instead of being assertive and forceful, he was trying to make a deal and understand it from my side in a professional manner. He truly made me feel comfortable when I finalized deal. My 4 hour drive from NYC has definitely paid off through the best service and the best deal at Colonial Subaru.

Everyone knows that buying a NEW CAR is a great feeling...but that great feeling is usually offset by the "business" of dealing with the dealer...right? Agita!!! "Am I getting a GOOD deal?" "Am I getting a GOOD car?" "Will I get GOOD service after the sale?" The LAST time I bought a new car was at one of those "mills" where you end up dealing with a BUNCH of people...the sales guy or gal...the sales manager...the finance guy or gal...the extended warranty folks...and on and on. Rick handled everything up until the finance guy Adriano took over. Very professional...and very organized. I got the car I wanted at a GREAT price without that usual hassle associated with new car buying. Imagine that new car smell without the usual hassle... These are great people to deal with!

I worked with Ric in sales and must say that he did a fantastic job. I was a first time buyer and he made the process extremely smooth. Had the exact car I wanted and he knew everything I wanted to know about the vehicle. Karen, the business manager, also went over and above to help me with not only my car financing but fix errors on my equifax credit report. The finanace manager was a little abrasive at first but ended up being a great guy as well. If you are in the market for a subaru you have to check them out. They are definitely the best dealership I dealt with and I shopped around at a few others. Am now the proud owner of a subaru outback sport and could not be happier with my purchase, price and the service I received. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We felt welcomed the minute we walked in the door and were taken care of by everyone from the owner to the gentleman that detailed the cars. We would especially like to mention our salesman David Johnson. He was the best car salesman we've ever worked with. He valued our time and understood our financial limitations. We do not plan on being in the market for a new car for a while, but when we are ready to look again, Colonial VW and Subaru will be the first place we go. Great job by everyone!

After shortlisting the subaru with all its features, when it was time to pick up on color. i searched for nearby dealer locations on www.cars.com, shortlisted this dealer and chat with him online and then followed it up with a call and finally a visit to the dealers office the same evening which ended in closing the deal and buying the car. After a minimal negotiation, we got the price we wanted for the car we wanted.Overall it has been a very smooth transaction and i would highly recommend someone who needs a subaru in the vicinity to check out this dealer for a good bargain.

Basically we went in, we knew what we wanted, we negociated a fair price, they took a $1,500.00 deposit and promised our car in a few days...ONE MONTH LATER and NUMEROUS phone calls UNANSWERED, we showed up (they were BBQing hotdogs out front having fun), we nicely asked for our car (which they had called a few days earlier to say they had one but it was our 2nd choice of color....we weren't going to be picky at this point) and they drove up in the same car they had tried to sell us 1 month prior and we didn't want the first time we were there!!!!! UN*#at%INGBELIEVABLE!!!! We wasted 1 whole month and had given them $1500.00 (which they refunded). We left, went right over to VW Langhorne, and had our desired car less than 48 hours later (they had to get it for us...it was not something they had in stock either). Our Sales Rep at Colonial had the nerve to tell us, "I don't make the cars" as we were asking for our refund...well, I doubt our Sales Rep at VW Langhorne "makes" the car either but somehow they procured it for us within 2 days!!! Go figure! IF Colonial couldn't get the car for us for whatever reason (maybe they don't have a good relationship with other dealers to do a dealer trade?) all that they had to do was pick up the phone and tell us but they didn't nor would they return our calls! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! Don't bother leaving messages or voicemail messages....I don't think they even have access to their own voicemail! Do yourself a favor, go ANYWHERE ELSE! (again, highly reccomend Langhorne VW).

There is nothing these slugs won't say to sell a car. The tactics employed by the salespeople at Colonial Auto Group exemplify why car salespeople have the horrible reputation they do.After applying for a used car loan on the Internet, I was contacted by a CONMAN at Colonial Subaru Volkswagen. After arriving at the dealership, I was informed by the CONMAN that if I was approved for a loan, the loan would only be good for a vehicle purchased at Colonial.I told the CONMAN I was looking for a specific year and model car that he did not have on the lot. After a little while, the CONMAN told me he could locate a car for me at Manheim, a massive wholesaler. A little more time passed, and the CONMAN showed me what appeared to be a Manheim listing, with thumbnail photos, for the year and model car I was looking for. I asked the CONMAN if I could see the photos on a computer screen.After a half hour, the CONMAN showed me four photos that he had the dealership e-mail him. As it turns out, I recognized one of the photos of this particular vehicle. It was a car for sale on a used car lot about 20 miles from Colonial, which I proved by matching up the VIN numbers. The car was listed at $15,995 on the used car lot. Colonial was trying to sell me the same car for $19,900!!I wouldn't send my worst enemy to any Colonial dealership.

My wife intended on buying a car from this dealership. We live about an hour away, so most of the arrangements were made over the phone. We had discusses final price of the vehicle, loan rates, trade in value on her current vehicle, and set up an appointment to drive the carat 7pm. She gets a message at 3pm telling her that everything is still good and to come there after work. She leaves work and is about 40 minutes into her drive. She gets a call from the dealership telling her that the owner has taken the car overnight and that no one knows why and that no one can get a hold of him. Now, she must turn around to drive home. Are you kidding! Who does business like this. Hopefully, they will find a way to make it up to her, but seriously?

Colonial Subaru and Mike were a pleasure to work with. Mike, worked very hard to locate the car that I wanted, with all of the additions I wanted and the right color, aparently dark gray was hard to get. I was on break from school and Mike was able to deliver it to me in my small time frame. At first I was working with another dealer, but they were not able to come through for me. I would definitely recommend this dealer to other customers, and will most likely become a returning customer.

I was in the process of researching for a new car; I had visited several other dealerships. I dread doing this type of task. However, when I finally decided on approaching Colonial VW Subaru, it actually turned into a pleasant experience. Mike Boyle who worked through this with me (I brought my daughter with me so that she could hear/interpret words, like finance, percent, etc) was one of the most nicest, kindness people I have come across in this life journey. Mike Boyle certainly made this task a pleasant experience in that he answered all of my questions and concerns, did not rush me in any way and completed this task from beginning to end. Of course, the last step was the financing who lead me to Marshall, who also was able to explain all that would happen, etc. Once again, Cheers to Colonial Subaru and Mike Boyle. Started off working with this dealership via internet search followed by a phone call to further look into a vehicle. Phone call turn around times were very reasonable, especially when compared to other dealerships who don't ever return a call. Converstaions were forward and to the point. Very nice, respectful people in the internet sales department. Helpful in the sense that negotiations could be made over the phone. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was greeted nicely and was able to start the paper work rather quickly. Friendly atmosphere with great service!

Michael gave us a very efficient right to the point explanation of the available car styles and options. Listened carefully to our needs and concerns and helped us to decide what is the best car for us. The whole process of bying the car including test-drive took just 2 hours in a very friendly environment, much better than our previous experience of buying a car.

This was probably the smoothest purchase of a car that I have ever had. I would've given a perfect "5" for PRICE however I was trading in a 2008 recalled Toyota Avalon. I'm quite sure I could've made a fantastic deal but because of the problems with the Toyota name, I was given the best trade-in value for my 15,000 mile driven Avalon among 6 Subaru dealers from Colonial Subaru. I had searched the internet and found several identically equipped Subaru Foresters I then requested and recieved email quotes from three dealers. Colonial's quote was competitive though not quite the best. However as the Dealership was close to our home, my wife and I decided to visit Colonial on Saturday, to take a test drive and see how negotiable they would be with their initially quoted price. Mike Boyle greeted us and showed us the numerous Foresters to choose from. Ater selecting a vehicle that matched the options and the msrp that I had searched for he arranged for our test drive. As we were impressed with the quality and ride of the Forester we sat down to negotiate. I explained that though we liked the car I had a better quote from another dealer and showed Mike that quote. Telling us that this just makes it easy he took that quote and left the office to return just a few minutes later to tell us that Colonial will not only match the price plus give an additional 10% of that savings. That really made it easy for us to. After completing the paperwork we arranged to pick the car up on Monday.Returning Monday we were once again greeted by Mike Boyle and within a few minutes he had our new vehicle parked outside the showroom. The Forester was prepped and detailed and looked great. He then gave us another quick but thorough demonstration of the vehicle's controls and features. When we were ready to leave Mike not only thanked us profusely but also gave us an extra "thank you" with a voucher for dinner at a nearby restaurant. We were very pleased with the transaction and with everyone's courteous manner.

I went to several dealerships while car shopping. By far, the best experience i had was at colonial subaru. Before I was even sure of the car i was going to get, I felt like I wanted to buy from them, just because of the great experience I had there. My experience started with a walk around the lot to pick out the exact car I wanted to drive, instead of waiting at a desk while the salesman left to get a car from the back of the lot. In fact, if I hadnt done this, I wouldnt even have gotten the car that I ended up buying. I didnt go there to test drive the forester but after walking around the lot i liked the new ones that i saw there and ended up loving the car.During my first visit, I had told them I wouldnt make a decision until i test drove some other cars that i wanted to see. Unlike some other dealerships, they respected that, and didnt try to pressure me into making a decision that i wasnt ready to make. That paid off for them, as i was happy to come back and make a purchase after i finished looking at some other cars.Arthur was the very friendly sales consultant who helped me pick out the cars that I test drove. Once I was ready to buy, Bill, the sales manager took over to work out a deal. Bill was friendly and genuinely seemed like he wanted to make a deal that I could afford and was comfortable doing. The nice difference here, is that at some other places I had to negotiate with the sales consultant who left his desk to get numbers from the sales manager. So I ended up waiting longer and feeling like they were playing games. At Subaru, I was working directly with the sales manager who could make decisions on his own and negotiate a deal without going to a third party.Overall, I had a very pleasant experience, love my new car, and feel confident that i got a great deal from a dealership I can trust. Definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car.

Buying my first car through Colonial Volkswagen was a great experience. They didn't have the exact car on the lot that I wanted, but they searched until they found it and even went to go pick it up to bring it to the dealership. They were very patient and friendly to work with. They made sure that they found the exact car that I wanted and they made sure that I got it the same day that I wanted to buy. Towards dinner time, the salesman asked us if we wanted pizza, their treat. Since we said no, they gave us a giftcard to a local restaurant in order to eat dinner.It was a pleasure working with the people of Colonial Volkswagen and I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new car. The service and staff are wonderful and work to meet and reach your exact needs. I'm 100% estatic about my purchase!

I found my experience there to be excellent. The sales person (Rich Maurao) andthe sales manager (William Seltzer) were very professional and courteous. The rewardsprogram along with the price i received will probably bring me back there againwhen my lease is up, to purchase another Subaro. I hope Rich and William are stillthere in three years when i'm ready to select another car. This is my first Subarobut probably won't be my last.

I had been looking for a used realiable car for three months. Recently I spoke with a friend that suggest I call Colonial Volkswagen Subaru located in Featerville, PA.First, I found the website for Colonial and browed their site. I did see a vehiclethat I was interested in, so I called to get some information and make an appointment,however I didn't have a ride for the time given me. Recently, I had a car that was in pretty bad shape and I was interested in purchasing a new (or new to me) car. A friend of the family suggested that we contact Mike Boyle at Colonial Volkswagen in Feasterville. I was a little wary at first because I thought all dealerships were the same; they either wanted to act swarthy and take all of your money or treat you like crap if you cant afford much. My experience at Colonial Volkswagen was the total opposite. All of the staff there were so attentive and friendly. Mike was warm and welcoming right from the start. He worked with my mom and I to help get me into a beautiful new car which I love. Ive never had an experience like this at any other dealer or any other retailer. The customer service was excellent. Mike is a wonderful guy and salesman. I will buy all of my cars from him and this dealership in the future and I will refer all of my friends to do the same. In short, I loved my experience with Mike and with Colonial Volkswagen.

I was looking for a used, realiable car for my son that travels a long distance for college . I herd through friends that Colonial Volkswagen Subaru in Feasterville was the place to go. When I contacted them I spoke to a Mike Boyle, telling him what I was looking for and price range. Mike was friendly and knowledable and took my information. At that point I figured like most dealerships, I wouldn't hear back, or they would try and sell me a car I didn't want or was out of my price range. Not Mike Boyle at Colonial. Mike would call me every time a used car was traded in that I might be interested in, until I decided on one. When Mike called me about a used 2000 Honda Accord that was just traded in, and the cost I had to check it out. So my wife, my son and I visited the dealership and was approched with a comfort feeling not a pressure feeling. They handed us the keys and said go look it over and let us know. They gave us time alone to inspect the car, and did not have a sales rep hound us with questions making us feel quilty if we said no. When we told Mike this was the car and my son likes it, he said great and would have it cleaned up for us when we returned to pick it up the next day. Let me tell you, when my son and I pulled into the lot we almost drove right past it. The car was parked out front of the dealship window (where most new cars sit) and was so clean inside and out it looked brand new. Mike had the crew at Colonial detail it from bumber to bumber inside and out, and even removed some minor dents and blemishes it had. My son was all smiles, as I was too. The staff was also friendly and processed our paper work quickily, explaining in detail all we needed to know. The next day the cars engine light came on. Not knowing the cause I called Mike and with no delay he had my son bring in the car which was resolved quickly. Mike also got the cars history from the previous owner for us showing the cars timing belt and water pump being reaplaced which was a big concerned with the miles on it. Now that's customer service. I have told my family members and friends to visit Colonial next time they are looking to purchase a new or used car.

I always was a little lery of car dealerships with their aggressive approach.I was looking at alot of vw dealerships in PA and NJ i then made a short trip to colonial vw from the time i pulled on the lot with my trade in i felt welcomed.The salesmen and women were very friendly.I briefly walked around the lot looking at new cars and was approached by a gentle men named michael boyle that was very helpfull and answer all the questions that i had about the cars i was looking at.I then found a vw gti that i fell in love with michael was very helpfull with the pricing for the gti and my trade in he got top dollar for my trade in witch was greatly appreciated.We sat and michael took the time to go over all pricing and broke everything down to the (T) when going over war for the the car michael is very good at what he does and would highly recommend if anybody is looking for a new car to stop by colonial on street road in feastervile pa for a new or used car or suv i would give my overall ex a 10 out of 10

I have purchased a few cars in my time, however, I had never considered using the internet to find a vehicle. I found the website for Colonial Volkswagen and browsed their site. I did see a vehicle that I was interested in so I went for a visit. My first impression of the dealership was favorable when I pulled into the lot. I didn't have to wait long for a salesperson to acknowledge I was there (which I did appreciate). I was asked what brought me to their location and I informed my salesperson, Mike Boyle, that I was looking at their site on the internet. I told about the car I saw and was waiting for him to say that it was sold so he could show me something else for more money. Much to my suprise that didn't happen. Mike took me right to the vehicle that I saw on line. The pricing was just as advertised. (CAN YOU SAY SHOCKED) I was expecting the usual run around, but none of that happened at Colonial. I truly had a refreshingly good experience and I plan to continue doing business at that dealership. I truly appreciate how professional Mike Boyle and all the staff at Colonial are. i have never been happy after buying a car until now, they were the best dealership i ever delt with mike boyle was very friendly felt like he was one of my poker buddies.They answered all my questions i left there feeling like i knew everything there was to no about volkswagen products, unlike the last purchase i made of a mini van where the salesman was pushy and rude got me into a mini van and raked me over the coals a real creepy move mike and the staff at colonial got me out of that god awful deal and me trust again.

Mike Boyle exceeded my expectations regarding price and my trade in valuations. He worked with us to get us more for our trade in and and better price on the car. My only problems with my CPO Subaru were an open recall, the tire pressure monitor light and some chips/scratches on the hood and tail gate. These issues were corrected at no cost by their Service Dept which I would give an A plus grade. However, driving home the night we got the car was enjoyable until the low fuel light came on about 10 miles from my home on the Pa Turnpike. I think Colonial should have at least put 1/2 a tank of gas in the car. Overall I would recommend Colonial Subaru.John S

We had been looking for a car for our college daughter that would have all wheel or 4 wheel drive that would be good on gas. Having seen a 06 Subaru Impreza wagon listed for $12,900 at Colonial Subaru/Volkswagen in Feasterville we stopped by on Sunday 1/24 to check it out. It looked nice so we returned to the dealership Saturday afternoon 1/30 to see it. We were greeted by Tony S. who took us out for a test drive. As we were waiting for him to get the keys, (and then a jumper battery as the car wouldnt start) we also saw a 00 Subaru Legacy that seemed nice as well. We drove the 06 Impreza, and had Tony look into the 00 Legacy. He came out all smiles saying guess what? The internet price on this car (00 Legacy) is only $7999! Seemed like a decent price considering it only had 80,000 miles on it so we took it for a drive. After talking my husband & I decided to look further into the 00 Legacy from a budget standpoint, plus he didnt feel the Impreza seat was very comfortable. We sat down and talked to Tony about the Legacy, explained to him that we wanted to take the car to our mechanic (my brother) on Monday to have it checked out. Of course he then jumped in with this car may sell before then story if you are interested you should put a deposit on it to hold it. Not really paying attention to the fact that is was 4:00 pm on Saturday (dealership closed at 5), and the plan was I would return Monday morning to take the car to the mechanic we decided to place a $500 deposit on the car as we were very interested in the car. So, Tony wrote up the form, and then brought his sales manager in to talk to us. (I would come to find later that this was only the first of many torture tactics this dealership would pull.) This man came in and quizzed us on our interest and we explained this was for our daughter in college in Wyoming and wanted to make sure that whatever we would purchase would be a safe and reliable car. All he kept saying was Wyoming, really, why Wyoming? After a sufficient amount of grilling by this joker he agreed that we could take the car Monday to our mechanic.Over the weekend we talked, and researched the 00 Legacy. We became concerned that even though the car looked to be in very good shape we didnt think it would be a good idea to get a car with 80,000 miles on it.We saw that Colonial Subaru/Volkswagen had just listed a 05 Legacy with only 20,800 miles on it for $11,953. I emailed Tony and the Dealership on Sunday night to let him know that we didnt want to purchase the 00 Legacy due to the mileage on it, but were very interested in the 05 Legacy and I wanted to take that to the mechanic on Monday instead. I also wanted to let him know so the 00 would be available for sale first thing Monday. I called Tony Monday morning to see if the 05 was in fact available. He called me back saying the car was in detail and would be ready later that morning. I made arrangements to go see the car at 1pm. Met with Tony again took the car for a drive, and was very impressed with the vehicle. Tony made it a point to show me the pin stripe that they had just put on the car that morning in detailing it and wanted me to look at the shiny flecks of color in the paint, really Tony, I thought to myself you think I would buy a car based on the pretty flecks of color in the paint? We got back to the dealership to fill out the paperwork necessary for me to take the car to our mechanic (about 10 miles away). Then I had to meet with another sales manager Mark for another interrogation. I was thinking I just went through this same bs with your other guy, but persevered. Mark then tried every tactic in the book to try to change my mind about taking the car off the lot. I got why not have your mechanic come down here and well put it on the lift, how about you buy the car, and then take it to your mechanic, if theres a problem we will fix it. I told him there was NO WAY I would make someone come to them, or buy the car without having it checked first. He then said the internet guy was admonished for listing this car so low and that he must not have looked at the mileage when he listed it. Then the real crap began when he said there was also an additional dealer prep charge listed of $477.50 and that the price of the car with that added was $12,431. He said are you good with that? to which I replied I dont know until I have it looked at.So off to the mechanic I went. As I drove the car I felt shaking when I would break at speeds of 40mph or more. My mechanic went over the car with me right next to him. He told me the brake pads were new but it looked like they didnt turn the rotors and that was the cause of the shaking in the rear that I felt. He advised that I have the dealership put all new rotors on the car, and ask for a new battery since it was the original on a 5 year old car.Got back to the dealership in less than an hour and told them of the problems with the rear brakes. Of course we will take care of that I was told. Then Mark popped in and asked what I thought (Tony left the room). I explained the brake problems, and he started with the crap that this car had to go through 154 check points, by his certified mechanics to which I replied that my guy was a mechanic for 30 years, he then fumbled around saying he didnt mean to say my mechanic didnt know what he was saying (yeah right). I then said that my husband & I would return after dinner to discuss everything with them he then made reference to the fact they could use the deposit from the other car to hold this one. Mark said, and youll be buying it, right? I told him I didnt know. Now it gets interesting; Mark then said well why dont you just take the car home since we already have the paperwork filled out for you to take it off the lot anyway. I said I wanted them to repair the rotors and we would drive it again later. He kept insisting that I go ahead and take it home it would only take 10 minutes to turn the rotors. I said I know it takes longer than that to turn rotors. I kept getting stalled, by this time it was 3:50pm and I wanted to get home to cook dinner so we could return quickly that night. I finally said just give me my keys (to the car I had to leave as collateral) and we will be back later. Mark actually had the nerve to say that if I left someone else might come along and buy the car. I then adamantly stated didnt you just say you would use the deposit we had put towards the other car to hold this one? After about 5 minutes more stalling and bumbling over his back pedaling Mark came out and said there is the car now, and Tony had brought it back around front saying the drivers side rear rotor had a burr on it but they took care of that.I took the car home it was still shaking when braking at speeds of 40mph or more. My husband came home, and looked at the car, drove it and felt the brake shaking. He felt the rotors were in fact warped, and all the turning in the world would not solve that problem. We had dinner, and talked about what we would offer for the car, and that we would insist of the replacement of the rear rotors. After dinner we grabbed the tags from a car we had and headed to the dealership to purchase the car. We arrived at the dealership around 7pm sat down with Tony to talk deal. First we insisted they replace the rear rotors, then all of a sudden Mark popped his head in to listen. Of course they agreed to the rotor replacement, then my husband stated that I am not going to pay a dealer prep fee of $477.50. Mark said thats what I told your wife, I said it was not listed as that on the other car we were going to buy, and he insisted it was written on the internet sales price, I said not for all of your cars its not. Plus we felt we shouldnt have to pay them to clean up the car and stripe it because we didnt ask them to do any of that. He then brought up the fact that the car was very under priced by the internet sales rep who had been admonished for his error, and look the Kelly Blue book is this. We then questioned the $280 in tag fees because we had bought a used car less than a year ago and the state fees were only $88 plus the tag place fees which brought the total to a little over $100 and that was for a new tag we would be transferring a tag. He said he cant change their fees and he didnt know if the place we had used before was still in business. I told him I wanted to see a breakdown of their charges before I would agree to such an outrageous amount. He said there were internet fees, etc. and left to get the breakdown for us.Tony then called me out to a computer in the showroom to show us that the dealer prep was listed under comments for the car. Mark stated that they put that on all cars and they werent like other dealerships that advertised a price that was lower until you read the fine print that states with a $2000 down payment. I stated that this was the same thing, except there is no asterisk on your internet ad to show that was not the true price either. Mark said I have to talk to my used car manager to see but only if we would agree to $50 or $100 off the fee. Apparently NO ONE at that dealership can make a decision as to deals. That was our last straw, we said give us the keys to our car, and our deposit we are out of here. Then the final nail in the coffin; was your deposit by credit card, I said check. Well we have to wait for it to clear then we will send it back, yeah sure you will. I went right home and stopped payment.As a side note if the price was too low, why didnt they change it on the advertisement after they found the error? Answer: because they will get the real price by gouging you with unnecessary fees. BUYER BEWAREAs an addendum to my earlier post my original was check returned to me today via US Mail after I had been told I would have to wait until the check cleared when apparently they hadn't even sent it to their business office yet. So that was something I guess (but I had already paid for a stop payment since I no longer trused them).

I rate Colonial VW as follows for these reasons:1. Customer service - Attentive and responsive to email, phone calls. Good follow up and listened to what we said we were looking for. Offered alternatives that were reasonable and kept within out specified price range.2. Quality of work - Have not used the service department yet. Can not rate.3. Friendliness - Very friendly from the minute we walked into the dealership. All staff professional and friendly from the President on down. Not a single complaint here.4/5. Overall experience & price - I am putting these together because of the experience we had with their "110% price match guarantee." We were in the dealership late Saturday afternoon. Not having a lot of time to go from dealer to dealer to dealer, we used the convenience of the internet to spec out and price the car we were interested in. We used various web sites to obtain dealer invoice, average geographical price people were paying and other cost figures so we would be prepared. We then used those sites to email dealers in our local area for their best price, explaining that we simply can not go to each dealer to carve out a deal. "No problem" our salesman said, "We offer a 110% price guarantee, and you will absolutely get the best deal here - Think Best Buy and you will know how it works." So we struck a deal and left with a 2010 GTI that evening. Our salesperson stayed past closing and prepped the car for us. We appreciated the effort because he could have just as easily told us to come back Monday.The next business day, we received an email from a competing dealer that came in at roughly $50 less a month that we were currently paying. I immediately notified Colonial and asked to take advantage of the 110% price guarantee. After exchanging email, it was agreed on that I would come to the dealer in person (a very reasonable request actually, even though I was against it at first.) to discuss the options.When at the dealer, I met with the President, Sales Manager, and our Salesman. It was pointed out to us that the "small print" on the price guarantee said they will match up to $500. Unfortunately we were never given the price match paperwork, and this "small print" was never explained to us in our initial dealings. All we were told was "it works just like Best Buy - prove the lower price (which we did by bringing a signed buyers order from the competing dealership.), and we will match it 110%, no questions asked." We thought that was a safe offer - it is on their website and all over the dealership.It was not as simple as the salesman initially illustrated, but when we presented our case to the Dealership President, he saw that we were never told about the "small print" and looking at the paperwork we had, he knew we did not have everything we should have from the dealership. The salesman did not provide us with all of the information we were entitled to.Ultimately we did get the 110% price match and we agreed to have the dealership pay our monthly payments divided over the amount owed us. We thought that was fair.We left the dealership thinking they handled the situation as they should have, and thought it was good they honored their promise. We did have to fight a little for it, but that was expected. We were talking about roughly $1900 off our agreed on cost for the automobile.One thing we did leave wondering about is how Colonial could be $50 a month higher than all of the other competing deals we received later in the week. Of course, that might be our fault for not negotiating better, but still it makes one wonder.For prospective customers, I would recommend you ask for ALL the details regarding the 110% price match guarantee and absolutely get three or four quotes before you decide on the purchase. Other than that the dealership honored their guarantee and deserves credit for doing so.

WOW, Tony S and the Colonial Team were outstanding. I would be remissed if I failed to mention the professional yet non-harrassing follow-up by Tony. Thank you so much, Tony. I'm an adamant internet shopper without not so good credit. Tony called based upon my internet inquiry; and not once did he make feel sub-deserving. As a matter of fact and despite my evident blemishes, Tony initial call was so inviting. He simply stated "I understand you're interest in finding a new vehicle and I believe my team at Colonial VW and Subaru can assist you". Although, I was swamped between meetings, I told Tony I would call later. You see I had just returned five days prior from burying and buying for my only aunt and my big sister funeral; so I wasn't in the best spirit. As I continued to catch up with work, I was ecstatic to receive a follow-up call from Tony simply stating he and his team willingness to assist me in any way possible. I was amidst moving and between households and returning from my family emergencies; and initially was only researching the possibilities. It was the reassurance that they were their to assist me and get me in the vehicle of my choice. Instead of showing up a week later as I had planned, I called Tony back and schedule a visit. Prior to my visit, I asked Tony for the website and I began to browse the CPO inventory. About 15 minutes later, I called Tony with the vehicle that had my name written on it. Upon my late arrival, Tony greeted me with a smile and the magic began. Less than 24 hrs later, I was driving my Mercedes E-Class and never once felt undeserving!! You see this team truly understood my situation and my needs. This is a difficult time for me and most Americans as we face plight and difficulties daily during this recession. Yet, Tony believed in me and worked effortlessly to get me what "I WANTED". He and the Colonial Team never tried to sway me from my initial choice; but instead worked effortlessly to reach a common ground for all. I have never been more satisfied with a vehicle purchase. Mr. Swygert is what all Salesmen should strive to be. He understood the importance of thinking care of me, the Customer. He was patience and clear; never trying the fast talking salesman jabber. Never insult my intelligent by offering me a $2 car for $2,000. I can't express my appreciativeness for this. Thank you Tony and Colonial for putting me, the Customer first. Rest assure, you will see me again soon and any friends in the market, I'm cruising them in my E-class right to Tony's desk. Lastly, I used to purchase brand new vehicles every two years and never one have I met the GM on location. Karen, the General Manager at Colonial VW, greeted me and Congratulated me on my new purchase. I was sold and satisfied at that moment. Thank you, Karen for taking the time for me. I'm very happy with my new car, although, I don't think I was given a fair price for my trade-in. Overall the experience was positive and until I have any problems with my new vehicle, I would recommend this dealership. The rewards program is a nice bonus.

steer clear of this dealership. they use every come-on in the book. I wasted my time even bothering to drive to this sham of a dealership. From the car-fax mileage not matching up with the odometer readings to low-ball internet prices unreflective of true cost, I regret having ever stepped foot in Colonial Subaru.

This is the first car that I have purchased from this dealership. I feel that the service was outstanding. They even stayed late to make sure that all my paper work was complete and my car was properly serviced before I drove it home. And the deal on the car could not be beat.

This is the second time I've purchased a Subaru from colonial the sales reps were excellent and made buying a car quick and enjoyable.This is the first dealership I will go to when buying a car in the future and the first and only place I will refer friends.

Rude, uncouth sales reps. Not upfront about problems with the car. Not willing to replace missing stock parts, although car is pre-owned certified. Dealership manager flipped out because we wanted to back out of the deal after finding out that the car not only came with non-stock, CHEAP-100-dollar wheels, but all that ALL THE TIRES WERE DIFFERENT!No one should buy a car from this place unless it is brand new and one is willing to spend any price on a Subaru.
