I recently purchased a brand new Silverado from Colonial West. My salesman Walter was *excellent* -- he was very knowledgeable and provided me with all of the information I needed. His no-pressure approach was ultimately why I decided to purchase my new truck from Colonial West. I received a fair deal on a truck I fell in love with. However, I was not happy that when I went to pick up my truck a week later, it took 4.5 hours to do so, especially when I was told that I "should be in and out within an hour". It should not take that long complete the paperwork, get an inspection sticker, and to update the truck's radio software -- especially when the delivery was scheduled in advance. The radio update should have been done before delivery if it was so time consuming. There is no reason a customer would expect to have to come back to have their brand new vehicle up-to-date. I waited several days for delivery because I thought all of those matters would be taken care of by the time I came for the truck. A+ for my sales experience, D for service and the follow-through. I felt like it was one of those "typical" car dealer experiences where reality did not meet expectations, and it was completely avoidable. Disappointed that I cannot give 5-stars because Walter truly was excellent and is an asset to to your dealership, and I really like my new truck.

Arrived unannounced and was greeted by a friendly salesman who had customers ... he excused himself to find a salesman for me.I fell in love with the 2011 Equinox which I thought would be out of my price range. SALESMAN TOMMIE greeted me with a smile as we walked to the very nice 2011 Equinox and after a test drive I was SOLD.NOW came the finance part where you sit and wait to find out YOUR not credit worthy however CARLOS did his magic. I was given a fair price for a trade , financed with approval after an hour. What a great car buying experience.I recommend Tommie, Carlos and the great team at Colonial WEst.The day I picked it up we had a storm rain everywhere and I had a small issue with window wipers... I returned to the service dept and they took care of it ASAP Thanks Chris and your great team for making my car safe.

Four days later I emailed Walter again along with the General Manager and Sales Manager and finally received a call from Walter stating their working on it. Have not received any explanation. How can an auto dealer make a deal with you, then renege on it ? I have never seen this happen before in all my years of car buying. Colonial West Chevrolet didnt stand behind this deal. Just didnt care about making things right. And my deposit has yet to be returned. Unfortunately I was not give a copy of the purchase and sale agreement, and forgot to ask for one.

Easy- no pressure- they didn't even ask for my phone number. Price determination took only a matter of minutes, Everyone was more than accommodating. I shopped around for a couple of months and was toyed with. I walked into Colonial and told them the same things I had told the other dealers and they knew I was serious and the deal was done. All around a great experience.

My experience was a very good one. My salesman Caleb, listened to what I was looking for and almost immediately took me straight to the truck that I purchased. Color, options and price that I was looking for. I love my new Silverado! The only complaint that I have was with the financing. When I was approved by my own credit union, it took entirely too long to get them the paperwork that they needed to complete the deal. I was ready to take delivery of the truck, and after several days of my CU not getting the paperwork, I decided to go ahead with the dealerships financing just to get into the truck. I intend to refinance through my credit union in my own by the end of the month. All in all the experience was great and I will certainly shop with Colonial West again. Overall the team did a great job and I am extremely happy with the purchase!!!!

Gone 12 year old Avalanche; Hello beautiful, shiny, black Silverado. Our salesman, Paul L. Smith, answered all our detailed questions and we had quite a few. He even asked fellow peers who were knowledgeable about setting up phones to help us. I was very impressive with the service department with their courteous, quick, respectful behavior when I went to obtain the inspection sticker. I had a few more questions and went back to see our salesman, Paul L. Smith, and the head of the service department saw me walk in and quickly came over to assist me. He answered my questions and walked me back to the truck. I told him I didn't want any flashing lights or beeping sounds when I locked the truck and needed to read up on how to program that function. He quickly assisted me in doing this and best of all - he showed me what he was doing! Thank YOU!

Purchased a used 2014 Chevy truck for $26,000 and it only came with one set of keys and one key fob. Now I have to spend another $200 for a key and key fob. Asked the sales man and the sales manager for an extra set and both said no. Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!! If I were buying an off brand car like a Volvo I might understand but its a Chevy at a Chevy dealer, I guess customer satisfaction is a thing of the past at this dealer.

Ussually the purchasing of a vehicule procedure is long and borring but Jen made sure that this was not the case . I did all my research (1.5 weeks) and shopping (1.5 weeks) online. I was purchasing the best deal I could find on a new Traverse among 17 different dealerships. Some dealers simply wouldn't sell at a lower price, which I respect. Others tried to sucker me in while including rebates in the quote that I did not qualify for. I was ready to buy from another dealer until they refused to honor the Edmund's Price Promise. After that, I added a vehicle from Colonial West to my list. Terry made it simple with a quote, which I counter-offered to get me below my best deal. We settled $150 higher which was still the best deal I had found. No hidden fees or non-qualifying rebates. The price quoted was the price paid.

Tire Pressure. Not a huge deal but tire pressure was not brought up to the proper Psi. Only reason it bothers me is if there are other minor things (attention to detail) that aren't getting done that I would not be aware of that could be more of a concern. This is a simple one.

With an impending snow storm, I was seeking out a place to have my snow tires put on. I decided to call Colonial.On short notice (8:30 AM Sat), the Service department at Colonial was able to get my vehicle in for the service I needed. They even washed my car. I have always had positive experiences with this dealership - even if there has been issues, they worked immediately to resolve things and get my car back to me quickly. Due to these experience I highly recommend this dealership.

Like always, the service department has been great. I was due for an oil change and tire rotation and my check engine light had been on. The light was out but service was able to identify why it was on. They correct the problem that caused the light to come on and oil change and tire rotation without any issue. I appreciate that they could take my truck on short notice. I have always had great service with Colonial.

I have purchased 4 new vehicles since that time and have bought from "large dealerships" in the Boston area due to pricing. I test drove a Silverado a couple of weeks ago in Norwood. When I visited Colonial last week, I was surprised at the competitive pricing. Will Bryan is obviously an experienced salesman, and new I did not need or want a sales pitch; just the information I wanted. I was pleased with Will.With all that being said, my opinion of Colonial West will be formed moving forward, not from a day or two last week.

I am very satisfied with my 2015 Chevy Equinox LT. I currently own 4 GM vehicles, of all my GM vehicles I would have to say that my Equinox is my preferred choice to drive. If I was asked what my favorite features are about my Equinox I would have to say the RIDE & CREATURE COMFORTS. The MY-LINK radio amazes me every time I get in to the vehicle. Over the years this is my 2nd purchase from Colonial West Chevy. My 2013 Spark was my 1st purchase from Colonial West which introduced me to their TOP NOTCH service department. I had been looking at the purchase of another vehicle mainly a SUV. I had driven a Toyota Rav-4 and a Hyundai Santa Fe, neither of which fit my wants & needs like the Equinox. Realized on the morning of 8/15 that my oil life monitor was at 5%. My wife called the dealership to try to the get the vehicle in for service as early as possible that week. Spoke to Chris in service and he asked us if we minded leaving the vehicle for the afternoon (on that very day) and he would see what he could do for us. My air conditioning was recharged, no leaks were found. I found the charge for this to be excessive, especially in light of the fact that no problem was found, and more work may have to be performed at a later date. I'm now questioning Chevrolet's long term reliability as a key fob had previously failed and proved too costly to replace during this visit. It's the little things that make or break a subsequent sale and Chevrolet's reputation is on the line. The car has a little in excess of 60k miles and it seems that I have gotten better reliability from a Toyota with DOUBLE the miles and only one year older! I am considering a new car; the Cruze looked attractive, but after this experience, it's just not as attractive anymore. After I left the dealership, I visited the Kia, Mazda and Toyota dealers. Yes, I was THAT disappointed.

They were most kind to get me a chair I could sit on without pain as the new chairs in the service dept. waiting area aren't good for someone with a bad back and who is very short. They also assisted me when I forgot to transfer funds between bank accounts and was given a ride to from my nearby bank so I could pay my bill. Arrived early for my appointment. They are in the middle of renovations and it was a little chaotic. However, the staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs. My Sonic ( I love my car), had the scheduled service promptly and efficiently, at a reasonable fee,a minor upholstery problem was fixed, and I was on my way. I travel almost an hour to get to Colonial, call me crazy, but it is worth the trip.

Terry locker is an excellent person. I had no plans of even buying from here, was simply passing thru from another dealership in a neighboring town, but thought I would stop and at least ask. I was actually heading back to another dealer the next day to purchase a GMC but the exceptional service of Will and John and the very fair price that I was offered convinced me to stay there and purchase from them. I am by no means an easy customer to sell to and there is not one thing I could even remotely complain about. Excellent service all the way around.

I went to your dealership to inquire about a recall that took place about a year ago, the letter sent to me by General Motors was misplaced and could not find it, your service representative was very kind and attentive to my inquire and schedule a service day without delay. We have trusted Colonial West as our service center for several years now, and so when our Traverse experienced what appeared to be a major engine failure, we had it towed to Colonial West. It turned out the #4 connecting rod had snapped, and the entire engine needed to be replaced. We were told it would take about three weeks to get the engine shipped to the dealership and installed. During that time, Colonial West loaned us (free of charge!) a brand new Silverado. This was not only a tremendous gesture of customer service, but a great help to an active family with four children during the snowiest winter on record. Everyone we interacted with at Colonial West was polite, professional, and always had a smile. The service was excellent, the only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that our car was having recall work done and I was told it was an 8 hour job when I scheduled the appointment. Near the end of the first day I was told the job usually take a day and a half and I would not be able to pick up the car that night. I wish they would have told me up front that it was a multiple day job so I could of requested a loaner car. I was an inconvenience to be without a car for two days. Other than that I thought the service people were great.

I had my car towed to your facility after hours on Saturday due to a broken water pump and overheating. I called early Monday morning to alert Colonial West that my car was in their lot, and spoke to Eric. He was extremely helpful and courteous over the phone. After I explained the situation over the phone, he called me back to alert me that I had a few recalls that had not been address and that Colonial would take care of them, while my car was there. He kept me posted on my car with status update by phone (there is nothing worse than having to call myself and pester the dealership). The car was repaired quicker than originally thought. And they even ran it through the warranty process (which I was covered) without me having to become involved. Colonial, and Eric, made getting my car towed a somewhat "pleasant experience". Thank you all!!

It was great, the service advisers did a wonderful job keeping me in the loop about my vehicle and the also managed to get me a rental because of my busy schedule. The only thing I disliked was that my vehicle was not aligned after the put in the rear axles. They also never mentioned I need to get my alignment done after that job either. Today I took possession of my brand new 2015 Chevrolet Traverse. Turned the car around in the promised amount of time under extended warranty. Car came back seeming to run much better than when it went in, was also cleaned inside and out which was a very pleasant surprise. Glad to hear that GM stands by their vehicles, even more so since this was a special case (2010 equinox piston ring issue). We own 2 GM vehicles now and am now convinced to stick with GM going forward and will bring my cars back to Colonial West for future work.

Needed to change from my 2006 Impala but owed money on it. Really did not think I could the quality car I ended up buying, a 2014 Impala limited. It was a definite upgrade from the 2006. They made the deal work at a great price. My 2014 is the nearest thing to a new car that I would ever afford. It has all the latest bells and whistles I have not ever had before. The atmosphere at the dealership was friendly and no pressure like the old days at dealerships. Everything worked out to my and their satisfaction. They were very accommodating in letting me retrieve my snow tires off the 2006 which had just put on last week. Very satisfying experience. I hope the service department is as good as the sales department.

Service good and completed in a reasonable amount of time. The service manager suggested I get a transmission flush because I had 82,000 miles on the car. Next time he should check the computer/records because I had that done at 66,000 miles. An honest mistake, but others might not read it that way. He apologized for the error, so no problem for me. In general, the service at Colonial has been very good.

I had been dealing with another dealership with problems for about 5 months. It would take a few attempts to get the problems solved, and the last problem never was. Plus, each time I brought it in, I came away with more problems that weren't there before. They were terrible and made my New car buying experience a nightmare. I FINALLY decided to go to another dealership so I asked around. People were saying good things about Colonial-West, and it was the next closest, so I went. They fixed the problem in no time. I brought my car in for an oil change and a recall I was told it would be roughly an hour and a half. To my surprise my car was finished in about 35 mins, which was great. The only thing that concerns me is they wrote on the paper work that the tire pressure was 35 psi all the way around which in fact it was not. When I looked at the tire pressure monitor on the onboard computer it shower 38 psi left front 39 psi right front and 35 psi for both rear tires. This makes me wonder what else was not properly checked. I don't mind spending a little extra time at the dealer knowing that the job is performed correctly, but now I am uncertain about the service that I received.

I walked in unexpecting to get into a brand new car and with in a week I was driving off in a 2014 Chevy Sonic. Love the car, perfect for me. I found my car online and was conversing with Ivy Shomphe through email. When I got to the dealership the car I wanted was parked up front and just waiting for me to test drive. I was introduced to my salesperson Jenny Gray promptly. Jenny gave me an absolutely wonderful experience at Colonial West. She listened and made buying the car a great experience. And Carlos in the finance department literally created a miracle with financing me. My credit history was not good but Jenny and Carlos assured me not to worry because somehow he would figure it out. He certainly made true is promise. I got financed which really was a miracle. The only thing that I though could be improved upon was they really need sunshades to help minimize the sun shinning in customers eyes not to mention it was pretty hot. After conversing with Ivy, the internet manager by e-mail, I decided to take a ride up to the dealer which happens to be about 1 hr from where I live. When I arrived I was greeted by her and introduced to George who would be my salesman. He was polite and personable and knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted to purchase, which was already parked up front and ready to go for a test drive. After taking a test drive and agreeing to a number we both agreed upon for my trade (which was the easiest deal I've ever made at a dealer), the deal was done. Overall, my experience at Colonial was a positive one. I attribute that to the personal interaction I had with George, Ivy, and Gino. They seemed to go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and not pressured. I even had an extended conversation with Ivy as I was leaving the dealership about my experience. Even though Colonial is a distance from where I live, I would definitely make the trip up there again when the time comes.

I was looking to trade in my 2004 Toyota Avalon for a newer vehicle and immediately thought of Colonial West as we have recently used them for service on a used Traverse we had bought. The service department was great, we had gone in for an oil change after only a few weeks of owning the vehicle and they pointed out a problem that the dealer we bought it from had missed. We were able to get the vehicle fixed from where we bought it saving us well over $1000 in repairs.Well the experience was just as good in the sales department! I used the on line estimator to value my trade in and within 15 minutes got a call from Ivy who helped schedule me for an appointment to look as some cars the same day. Ivy set me up with Terry and his knowledge of the inventory and features of the car was great! They gave me a great deal on the car and even more for my trade in than the original estimate on line!

He let me take a couple of the trucks out until I found exactly what I wanted and what I was comfortable driving. I know that me and my family will be safe this winter in our new truck. I showed up a day before the 4th of July needing fast service, no hassle sales, and someone who was knowledgeable about the specific car I was inquiring about; I found all of this at Colonial West. Ivy the sales agent was very helpful in finding me the specific car I wanted, the financing department were helpful in walking me through the process, and I was required to do nothing once the car was purchased. I was all set by the end of the day and was able to have a relaxing Fourth of July weekend. Ivy and the financing were so helpful, I will surely be coming for my next car here.

I bought a used Suburban recently through Colonial West. I do not live in MA and did all my searching on line because I could not find the vehicle that fit my needs or my pocketbook in VT. I e-mailed Colonial West on their site to verify the info on their website was correct, because I found 5 of the 7 sites I visited on line had inaccurate information on their sites pertaining to the vehicle I was looking at. Ivy answered my e-mail and very quickly went out to the vehicle on the lot and took pictures of the features I was looking for to ensure me that this vehicle I was inquiring about definitely had the features I was looking for. Needless to say we took a trip down to MA that weekend took a test drive with Willy Bryan and made the deal. Willy Bryan definitely took great care of us. And we appreciate him working hard for us with the pricing and trade in we had. We are more than happy with our purchase and feel that Ivy went above and beyond in many aspects to make this transaction go super smoothly. I had just begun my on-line search of dealerships in my area to buy a new vehicle and received a reply from my query within minutes from Colonial West sales Rep Ivy Shomphe. Her polite and courteous tone when I called was refreshing and I immediately felt comfortable, so I decided to proceed. When we met, she provided answers to all my questions and the few she didn't have answers to she got immediately from other staff who were just as courteous and friendly. I was trading in a 2005 Avalanche that I had bought new and informed them of the vehicles history and maintenance and they gave me a very good trade value, and she then proceeded to help me navigate through the buying process. I was made to feel comfortable and unpressured. I had a few options installed and before I even took delivery of my new vehicle, she inspected it, found a couple things "she" didn't like, called me to let me know this, had them corrected, and only after they were to her liking, did she feel right in delivering the new vehicle to me. That is how you build trust and I, for one, have found a dealership that I will continue to use for the rest of my automotive career.

I bought a vehicle off of Colonial West back in 2007 and my Fianee bought one form them also the same day. We weren't totally impressed at the time we had a few issues with the sales manager and there were a few things that we were promised that we didn't get like having a second key made for my fiancees car since it only came with one and getting a bottle of touch up paint for us to cover a few scratches. Nothing major but they were promised to us by our salesman and we didn't get it even though we reminded him at the closing and called once more after the sale. They also sold me an extended warranty package for an extra $1500 and when I went back to have my airbag light turned off they told me it wasnt covered because I put an aftermarket radio and some led lighting in my car so I may have messed up the wiring and it's my fault. So I never got to use my warranty even once even though they promised they would cover all necessary repairs. Fast forward to 7-17-14I have been looking for a Jeep Wrangler for a few months and I saw one I really liked in the parking lot at Colonial West. I was reluctant to talk to a salesman about the jeep after my last experience but I loved this Jeep and figured I'd give it another shot. Salesman Noah came out and took me for a 30 minute test drive letting me drive it on the highway, back roads and get a feel for how it drives in different situations. Not only did I love the Jeep but really enjoyed the test drive with Noah. We talked about car shows & off-roading like we had been long time friends. I felt comfortable with him right off the bat. He didn't try any sleezy sales gimmicks. He was very low pressure and let me make the decision not just telling me that I had to buy it or do this or that. It was a great experience overall and he turned around my negative opinion. I would recommend Colonial West and if you go there ask for Noah

My wife recently went to dealership with my children, and a non functioning car. After feelings of uncertainty and disbelief, I called the dealership in frustration. I had the opportunity to speak with the customer relations mngr. All prepared to be brushed off by cr mgr. (as previously experienced at another dealer), I was surprised. I did not even get as far as good morning this is, before I started sharing my thoughts. Not only did the lady listen to my opinion of the situation. I spoke with the same person through out my service. I was asked for my families first names, and my main concern. My first concerned was resolved with in 5min.(my family was out the door until later that day when our car was finished. I got text messaged when our car was cleaned and finished. Thank you, you did not fix our car, you fixed our day. The second concern (really frustrating) is being told what is wrong and not understanding. She asked service and explained not to just myself. My wife as well by her first name.

Overall very good service. One complaint : The floor squeeks badly when people walk on it in the waiting-check in area. It is very annoying especially when you have to wait there for the service as there is a never ending flow of people walking through there. The mechanics of your service are out standing BUT the floor should be changed.

A service station identified an issue with the passenger side ball joint ( I'm not mechanically inclined) and suggested that I check in with the dealership to see if it was under warranty. I called Colonial and confirmed that the service was covered and made an appointment for that Saturday. I stayed onsite whilst my service was completed in under an hour. I appreciate the ease of process and efficiency. The only feedback I have is that I didn't feel the environment encouraged customers on site. The people were friendly, chairs and magazines were present, but no coffee or donuts or anyone volunteering to come out and turn on the tv- the "extras" to make me feel COMFORTABLE.

Dealership is great all around; truly wonderful. I marked you 4 stars only because unfortunately my brand new Volt has a wiring harness issue that causes the left signal to blink dimly when the right is engaged. Right mirror signal also stays on after signal is off. Both re intermittent failures. If you had known how/been able to fix that you'd have 5+ stars and my gratitude. Brand new car. First Chevy. I had an appointment for an oil change and to have an area on the drivers side door i was concerned about checked. When i dropped Tahoe off i had found the passenger side floor wet. The service manager kept me updated on the status of the truck and made sure it was convenient time to keep the truck to fix the leak. They notified me the next day that the truck was repaired and ready for pick up in the afternoon. When i picked up the truck the service manager was so nice. I asked where the leak was and he immediately went out and got the mechanic who repaired my truck. The mechanic explained exactly what had happened and how it was repaired and cleaned. I was in need of a used car and after shopping around with other dealers, I found the car and the dealership that I could work with. Both the General Mngr at Colonial West Chevrolet, (Jeff Chandler), and the salesman, ( Paul Smith), are top notch professionals who worked w/ me to make sure the car that I was interested in and eventually bought was what I wanted and was in top condition before it was sold.Additionally, after purchasing the car and drving it, I had several questions concerning the continuation of Satellite Radio and On Star Coverage -as well-as the differences between this vehicle's options that includes traction control and stabilli trak and how each performs in good and bad weather,(snow). Paul Smith took the time to explain each of these features and if he did not have a direct answer, researched the question and called me with the answer.Jeff Chandler spoke to me and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with the car before it left the dealership -as a thorough inspection on the car was done and a determination was made of any work that was needed to be done on the car ,( a battery was installed ), and minor touching up ,(of the body), was completed. In fact, I asked to have the car put onto the lift to view the underneath and it was done !All in All, I would recommend this dealership for their all around service .

Fast, easy, and simple to use. Chris Taylor made it easy and fast when I arrived, all I had to do was give him my last name and the keys. Went in about 8:30 am, Edison handled my problem. Within 45 minutes they have found the problem and gave me a repair estimate. Around 1:30pm my car was ready, but dirty inside, due to careless technicians. The job was too expensive just to instal a $30 part. But it fixed the original problem.

It was my first time buying a new car and Internet and customer relations manager Ivy provided top notch customer service. Not only was it my first time buying a new car, it was my first time buying a car out of state. Ivy was very patient, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful when it came to my ignorance of buying a vehicle out of state. By far this was the best buying experience I ever had even with the hassle of buying out of state. When I got to Colonial West, I told Terry that I was only test driving the vehicle for her and because she lived in San Diego, he would not be making a sale. Well that did not stop Terry. I was just looking to find out how much my vehicle would be worth as a trade-in. But I was contacted by Ivy Shamphe, the internet sales manager, about a customer who was looking for my type of vehicle. So I went in to look at some vehicles. Ivy introduced me to George Vargas and he showed me some vehicles that I was interested in, and was very accommodating. I got a very generous trade-in value for my vehicle and the dealership took care of transferring all the paperwork on my new vehicle, so I didn't have to do anything but pick up my new suv. Overall, a very easy and pleasant experience.

I was in a situation where I needed to purchase a new car quickly. A friend recommended Colonial West Chevrolet because I was interested in the Cruze. I was expecting a very stressful experience, but as soon as I walked in the door the Manager, Jeff Chandler, welcomed me and made me feel very relaxed with his friendly manner. He introduced me to my salesperson, Steve Silvera, who was awesome to work with. Steve was friendly, very patiently answering my many questions about the features on my new car, and took care of all the paperwork needed to get my car on the road. The overall experience was much better than I expected thanks to Jeff and Steve. I had been pricing new cars for a while, and the timing was right because I was able to take advantage of their special price for President's Day. Doug, my mechanic, was courteous, and did a wonderful job. I am however disappointed in the fact that I called twice prior to bringing my vehicle in with questions regarding my warranty. When I did bring my car in for service, I learned that my warranty had expired by a week. Had I received a return call when I had called over a month prior, my warranty would have still been in effect. Needless to say, I am very disappointed that someone dropped the ball, and disregarded my calls twice. (To the point where I was frustrated and just brought my car in for service) this would be the reason I would not recommend a friend to your dealership. (Which is sad because both my parents work in this establishment)

I had a very positive experience at Colonial West. I had been shopping for cars for several months, and found nothing that I liked. My parents were buying a new car, and we're referred to Colonial West by a friend. So I went with them to look at the car they were going to buy. I was walking around the car lot as my parents were signing paperwork, and noticed a 2011 Hyundai Sonata on the lot. I had always wanted a Sonata too but never really found one I liked with a decent price. This one was priced good and had many options I desired, including heated leather seats. I wasn't there shopping for a car myself, but I inquired about the Hyundai. The sales rep told me it was on deposit, so I figured that was the end. I got a call from the sales rep 2 days later on Monday evening saying that the car had been taken off deposit and was available. I went right down to the dealership after work, and was able to test drive it in the snow. It exceeded my expectations greatly in the winter driving, and had low miles and was in great shape. So Paul, the sales rep, took care of everything for me and in less than 24 hours I was able to drive the car home with me. It was a seamless experience for me. It was great service and the staff was very friendly. The positive rating is because they didn't shove the car in my face nor pressure me into buying. They let me decide what I needed to do, and went off of that. I was a little disappointed that my old car got little for trade, but I can't be that upset as it was an older car with problems on the horizon. I know that buying a Hyundai from a Chevy dealer seems a little off, but the experience was great and the transition to the new car was very seamless!

As always I had a great experience. The only reasons it wouldn't be glowing this time are because it took a bit longer than I was originally told and because I was quoted an incorrect price for something. Otherwise, everyone is very friendly. Mark was particularly great, so friendly and helpful as he walked through. Tanisha was wonderful, saving the day with coloring kits as soon as she sensed my kids were starting to lose it. It's always nice to see Jose. My experiences there coupled with how much I love my Traverse make it likely I will buy my next vehicle there too!Side note: I often get my oil change and tire rotation at Munro because the cost is much lower. I around $40 where this time it cost me $50, and only because there was a special.

I had an awesome buying experience Colonial West Chevy. It was by far the easiest vehicle purchase I've ever made. After driving several trucks I decided to negotiate to get my best deal possible. Working the the GSM Gino and GM Jeff Chandler was really pleasurable and they quickly met what I was offering without any issues. After the sale is typically when dealers drop the ball but not here. I had an issue with a tire pressure sensor and they got me in right away and fixed it without any hassles. When I was waiting for this being fixed I met with Ivy and she assured me that if I had any issues at all to just let them know and they will take care of it for me and she wanted me to know how important my satisfaction was to them. As everyone knows Actions speak louder than words and at Colonial West their actions are screaming how much they truly care. Thank you guys for an awesome experience. I hate car shopping because it's so stressful and this was the first time it was completely stress-free.

I bought several cars from Ivy, One for me and 1 for each of my kids. She has always worked hard to get our best price for the cars we have bought. She found us exactly what we needed. She is knowledgeable about the cars. When we found added discounts she was willing to redo the paper work to include those in our new prices. The service department has provided routine service which has always been fast and efficient. In the time we have had the cars we did not need anything done other than routine maintenance. I will go and buy a car from Ivy again when it is time to get a new car.

I just bought a 2013 Chevy Camaro 1LT with the RS Package from Terry "The Go To Guy" and he really was. We as a company have used Colonial West Auto and Service department for years. The Customer Relations Manager Ivy is always available with a smile and a simple hello or follow up on any contacts needed. Andy Clark the Master Tech, is the only technician that our fleet is seen by. As for the sales team, Colonial West has a well rounded sales department. Terry is the sales person I deal with. He is very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to get me the vehicles I need. He is very thorough as we go through each step. Carlos the Business Manager not only got me one of the best interests rates for our purchase but covered all bases on the purchase and best price. Ivy made sure all three new vans was an enjoyable part of another purchase. She was either getting me coffee or making sure I was there being served. I intend to use Colonial West as we will need more vans in the future and for the service's needed on our fleet. As a business we count on loyalty and Integrity and hope we will continue to have success with everyone at Colonial as the years go by.

This visit was fine. The check engine light came on and they scanned it and found out it was a bad sensor and they replaced it same day. It was also in because one of the tires we had replaced there 2 weeks back was leaking so they had to find the leak and fix it, which they did.

I had a problem with the side molding on my 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD becoming loose on all 4 doors. Edison came and looked at it and determined that the molding needed to be replaced. The dealership replaced the molding and it was a great paint match. I am extremely with the service I received, and I would highly recommend Colonial West for purchasing or servicing a vehicle.

I purchased a car from colonial back in april of 13. It was a very hard decisoion for me to give up my truck for something more fuel efficient. Ivy was not the sales person I bought from but just an associate who saw how distressed I was from the whole experience. She talked to me and made it alot easier to sign the papers and realize it was for the better. A few months later I ran into problems with my car that the original sales person put aside because he considered it a used car. I still had my friend go into the dealership when he was looking into their Camaro's. While helping him decide on the right one I ran into Ivy again. Who took more time to see how I was doing with my purchase. When i explained everything that happened she went above and beyond. She gave me lots of options and advice to fix my problems. She had my car fixed and tried her hardest to make sure I was fully satisified. There were some things that were out of her control that couldnt be done, but I can say that the amount of time and effort she put into making me satisified was above and beyond what any other dealership/ customer service rep has ever done for me. We recently purchased a used 2007 Ford F550. The dealership was great until the purchasing was done. I bought the truck for my excavating business, the salesman knew I would be towing my equipment around. When I got the truck home, I saw that the entire right side of the bed was cracked and the side was floppy. I called the dealership right away and they put a thin top coat over the crack and gave it back to me, like that was going to hold the bed together while i towed my equipment. The dealership then apologized profusely stating the service department had not gone over the truck thoroughly because it looked so nice! they took the truck again and put joices under the bed along the right side and gave it back. They didn't even fix the crack. Then they told me to get a quote from a body shop for what it would cost to fix it correctly. We did, $2000.00!!! Gave the dealership the quote and they said, they would take the truck back and fix it correctly and then sell it again, but they wouldn't pay to have it fixed correctly now, for me. Someone is service told me that the dealership knew the truck had problems, but it had been on the lot for 90 days and they just wanted to get rid of it. I am so disappointed that the dealership would deliberately sell a truck that couldn't preform the duties they sold it for. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

The good- I had a positive experience at this dealership. Terry was the sales person that I worked with who helped me feel very comfortable and I left feeling like he was honest and I received the value that I anticipated through my researched. I would definitely recommend him as a dealer. The not as good- I was a little disappointed with the finance department. The guy who worked with me rushed me and wouldnt breakdown the numbers for me (any rational consumer wants to know where their dollars are going). Terry the salesperson actually ended up getting me the breakdown of the numbers (again, another reason Id recommend him as a dealer). Overall, I had a good experience.

I took our 2007 Silverado in yesterday for an inspection sticker, but they found out the ball joints were dangerously bad. They had the parts in stock and were able to repair the truck, do an alignment and the inspection all by the end of the day. They even gave me a ride home so i didn't have to sit there for hours. I was also able to use one of the coupons they send us and saved about $100. We didn't notice that something was wrong with the truck, but I could tell it was much better driving it home than when I drove it there in the morning so I thank them for being thorough and for being able to do the repair in the same day.

The check engine light came on last Thursday evening in my Silverado 1500 and On Star diagnostics informed I needed to have it looked at right away. On Friday morning at 7:30 I was at Colonial-West Chevrolet and although they were very busy and I did not have an appointment they were able to get my Silverado in the shop within an hour . The problem was diagnosed as a bad sensor and they had the part in stock. My Silverado was repaired and I was back on the road before noon. Awesome customer service as always by the guys at the West ! !

Received an emissions recall notice and needed an oil change. Phoned for an appointment and was easily accommodated. Was greeted upon arrival, they seemed happy to see me. Edison discovered another recall about the radio and took care of it which saved me another 50 mile trip to see them. They were efficient and went out of their way to take care of my Sonic which I love, love, love!! Highly recommend their service department, will continue to seek service there even though there is a Chevy dealer much closer to my home.

Jeff Chandler the GM, really went above and beyond to make us happy. Marc Grant found the vehicle we were looking for and worked with us along with Jeff Chandler to make sure the vehicle we were buying was in top condition. They went the extra distance to ensure we were happy, even when we offered to meet them half way! Ivy Schomphe was able to step in on Marc's day off to help us complete the paperwork. Everyone was fantastic with our five year old and he loves all of them! He also loves our new truck! (as we do!) Even though it was Marc's day off and Ivy was taking care of the paperwork, he still came in to make sure everything was proceeding smoothly. Jeff also came over to make sure everything was fine and couldn't wait for us to see the extra work and care they put into our new truck! Our entire family can not recommend them highly enough!!!!! I bought a used Silverado pickup in western Mass after a month long search for just what I wanted. As it was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle I needed to pick a servicing dealer. I was a little hesitant to pick Colonial, because as a teen I had been treated so poorly by the previous owners employees (I hadn't been back in the building in 57 years). I've had the truck in for warranty work and for scheduled maintenance and I could not be more pleased with the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. All work has been done on time and I've had some problems fixed under warranty with no hesitation and no charge to me. I'm really pleased with the truck I picked and with this dealership. I live in Athol Mass and I want to say I depend on getting service for my car from a chevy garage. I had tried to get my oil changed in Greenfield and Gardner and I was told I could not get an appointment until next week. At this point I was at 3% oil life I could not wait. I called Colonial and the tech said come on in and we will get you in and out. I was very pleased with service at Colonial, they stood by their word, oil changed and tires rotated. I was in and out within 30 minutes I have had over 10 oil changes and this was one of the friendliest, quickest and efficient services I have experienced.

I called in on a Tuesday morning with transmission trouble and a lack of power on an older - 2003- Impala and was told to bring the car in as soon as I was able. I took the car in that morning and had it back within 24 hours working perfectly for a very reasonable price. Colonial West was able to get the parts and install them in less than a day. I cannot express how fabulous my experience was! Fist off, I absolutely hate car shopping, I'm super short, and extremely picky. I found the perfect car, Chevy Spark. I had a rather tight budget, have never purchased a new car before, and didn't have very good credit. Jose spent almost 5 hours straight getting me that car! He got the price to where I could afford it, got the payments exactly where I wanted them, and got me financed with the amount that I wanted to put down. He made this experience so simple and easy, he even let me print off my proof of address from his computer so I could finish everything that day and leave with my new car. I have NEVER had such a good experience buying a car!! I've had this car for almost 3 months now and I am absolutely loving it! I had all of my Chevrolet Avalanche's brake lines replaced due to corrosion. Vehicle is older so it was understandable brake lines were bad. I had my truck towed in on a Saturday afternoon. I had a call Monday late afternoon with an estimate which was on par with labor rates, hours and amount of work involved. Gave Edison the okay to move forward. My phone rang Wednesday morning saying my truck was ready for pickup with the price matching the estimate. All brake lines replaced, alignment done and in MINT condition. When I say mint, it's because everything was fixed and they washed, waxed, buffed, dry and detailed my whole truck and it smelled and looked brand new as if it was off the assembly line.Thank you so much - Vinnie - Clinton, MA

Bought a new 2009 Traverse have had nothing but trouble misfiring, front end work twice, timing chain, defrost went twice, leaks from fire wall,changed carpet twice, new tranny last year, in right now for tranny and leaky power steering, keep having trouble with their extended warranty,they only want to pay if I bring it back to them But I moved an hour away. But they gave us a couple of free oil changes so I guess I shouldn't complain.

WE went to the dealership to buy our second car, from Colonial Chevrolet. We were greeted by Jose, who was very helpful when I told him what I had to have for optional or standard equipment. Since this was a car for my wife, I didn't need a very expensive car as we had an expensive car that we use when we go out together. Jose showed us a Malibu 3LT that had the equipment that I needed. He gave us a price that was so good that we bought the car without any haggling. I know how to buy car, price wise and any haggling would have been useless. From a previous purchase we enjoyed dealing at Colonial Chevrolet.

Paul was great never pushy I knew what I wanted so the entire experience was stress free. My 2012 Chevy Volt had a very minor cosmetic blem on the hood of the car that came from the manufacture. I paid a reasonable, fair price, all the employees I dealt with at Colonial were friendly, good people, the service department buffed out a scratch, rotated the tires, and agreed to align the front end for free once I put new tires on the vehicle.

It was time to replace my '99 GMC Sierra. Knowing that I wanted to purchase a replacement truck from a GM dealer, I began searching the internet for used GM trucks in my area. By far, Colonial West had the best selection of pre-owned trucks to choose from. Kendra promptly responded to my email inquiries on price and availability, and Ivy was extremely helpful when it came time to visit and take a test drive. Three years ago when looking to purchase a new car my wife and I, after visiting several dealerships walked into Colonial West and met Paul Smith. All I have to say is WOW. I drove 94 miles to go to Colonial West Chevrolet and I would GLADLY do it again. I purchased a beautiful 2012 Camaro 2SS/RS, Victory Red, Black Leather. Upon arriving, I was welcomed by Paul Smith who had the keys in my hand without any wait. I had to wait a few weeks before I could finalize purchase, and Paul helped every step of the way. He even stayed late (and gave my son a small toy!) the first day I came. I don't know of any other dealership or dealer that worked so hard to get a guy his dream car when it could have been easily sold. I was looking to purchased a used Chevy silverado and trade in my old Toyota camry. Kendra was great at walking me through the features of the truck and all it amenities. I was already pretty set in knowing the truck style/model I wanted yet kendra wasn't pushy and was just there to guide me along the way. We had a slight hiccup when we got to financing as I wanted a certain interest rate range in which I would agree to purchase the vehicle, yet when I returned the sales manager Geno had an interest rate a whole percent higher than I agreed to. IN the last minutes before I was ready to walk he called numerous lenders and was able to meet my demands and I was then a happy 09' chevy silverado truck owner. Also on another note I constantly receive discount coupons for service at the dealership which is an added bonus, even though I haven't redeemed any yet its still a nice little perk you receive by purchasing through colonial west.
