Ryne and the team at Columbia Honda did everything to get me into a car that I love and they were genuinely happy doing so. As a first-time car buyer I was afraid of being taken advantage of and my wishes not heard. This was not the case. I was picky and firm in what I wanted, and Ryne took it like a man. Trustworthiness, friendliness, and care for the people that walk through those doors. The bar was set so high that I'm afraid to think of how far I'll have to drive to get back to Columbia Honda for my future vehicle purchases. We will definitely be back.

I have bought 2 new vehicles from this dealership and I will NEVER again buy another vehicle from them. I find the sales staff arrogant and rude. This is based on my interaction with 3 employees in 3 different situations.HOWEVER, the SERVICE STAFF IS SIMPLY AMAZING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT, HONEST AND GREAT PEOPLE!!! I have purchased 2 new vehicles since my last purchase from this Honda, and I still use the service staff here. Trust me, you cannot go wrong with the T.J., Autumn, Drew and John service team at Columbia Honda. T.J. is a great listener. He makes sure he understands the issue before I leave my car. He knows the right questions to ask to determine the real problem. Then when he calls, he explains it in laymans terms that I can understand. Jermaine and Dave!!! These two helped make our car purchase so easy and fun. We didn't feel like we were just another time slot in their day. Their main focus was on us, and their sole priority was getting us our idea of the best deal possible. They were so patient, honest and genuine every step along the way and it really made a positive impact on the experience as a whole. We really made them work, and they didn't get frustrated with us, push us, or rush us! Jermaine was determined to make sure that we left happy, and he definitely succeeded. The facility as a whole had a really nice feel - even those who weren't working directly with us still made a point to say hello or make sure that we were being taken care of. We also did our research online and knew what we were looking for when we went to the dealership. Trenton Custard was great to work with. Very knowledgeable. Had the car we inquired about ready to test drive when we arrived. We were working through USAA for our financing and their car buying service. Trenton knew what we were talking about and there was no haggling over price. He got the car we were interested in from another dealer and made the sale. I did my research online and knew what I wanted when I went into the dealership. Chris Campbell was great to work with. He understood we were working around appointments the day we went in, so we did all but the financial piece in our first sit down and then he had everything set up with the financial advisor, John Frye so the final sit down went smoothly and quickly. I had the pleasure of working with Trent Custard, who was absolutely amazing! I went in thinking I knew what I wanted because I am pretty picky, but Trent made sure I looked at all of my options. I left the dealership with a car I never even thought about driving and I love it more than the car I walked in thinking I would buy. Everyone there was so friendly, Trent went out of his way to help me out. We were in and out of the financing department in under 15 minutes and they helped me get a way better interest rate than I was offered through my own bank! My CR-V wouldn't start and had to be jumped. I called the service department and spoke to TJ. He said to bring my vehicle in. I did and he took care of the issue-dirty battery connectors. When I got stuck a hundred miles from home TJ got my car in immediately on a football Saturday and got me set up with a car so I could get my family home. Honda Columbia got my car fixed quickly so I could come pick it up the next weekend. TJ definitely saved my weekend.

I initially thought I received a good deal here. Unfortunately after spending all day here with a toddler I was completely exhausted and was ready to be in a new car. I had negative equity from the car I traded in and they supposedly "took care" of some of it. Turns out they didn't take any at all! I feel taken advantage of and I take some of the blame, but at least now I know. I would not recommend anyone go here! They only care about sales not their reputation or loyal customers.

I worked with Francis P. Schaffer and I highly recommend seeking him out and working with him.Buying a car from Columbia Honda was by far the best experience I have ever had. For once during a sale, no one was pushy. I explained what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. They found me the 2016 Honda Odyssey my family wanted in a short amount of time and at the price I was willing to pay. Here is the coolest part, they delivered it to my house with all the paper work and we did it from the comfort of my own home. This process takes most of the stress out of it. The entire team there made me feel like a valued customer and not just another number. Their customer service has been of the highest quality and now days, thats hard to find. 10 out of 10 stars! When my kids are ready for their cars, I will buy from here again and I have triplets.

Car buying can be a hassle, but not with this outstanding team. My most recent car was totaled and I was in a position where I needed a car ASAP. I live in St. Louis and the car I wanted was only available in Columbia. I contacted Columbia Honda, and Josh Badder went above and beyond to help me. Not only did he set everything up for me over the phone and work with my strict time schedule, but he treated me like family. It was almost 10am on a Friday when I contacted Josh, and by noon he had the car out of detail and the paperwork printed and ready for me to sign. When I got to the dealership at 5pm that same day, he did not let me down. My car was sitting beautifully clean and spotless right on the showroom floor! I was in and out in 40 min and on my way to KC! Matt Thesing and Dave Johnson were also both very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Since my date of purchase Matt has reached out on two separate occasions just to check in and answer any questions I might have about my new car. We were in the market for a used Honda Civic and received a call from the Honda Dealer in Columbia MO following up with a different inquiry we had made. Chris was our sales persons name. He indicated that he had a 2015 Honda Civic that was just traded in and it was in excellent shape. We drove and hour and a half to get to the dealership. We were a bit disappointed as the car had a dent and a scratch along with a couple of other minor issues. I would not have called it excellent shape, but we ended up buying a 2013 EX and are very happy with it.

I purchased a good used Subaru Forester from this dealership. It was a very difficult decision between Subaru and Honda but the Forester won out at my price point. The dealership was very helpful in getting the financing I needed to make the purchase and the service center performed some regular maintenance on the vehicle as part of the deal. All the staff were very pleasant. Keith, TJ and Nick were all great and answered all my questions. I recommend this dealership and service center and will return to do business with them again as my husband and I will need an additional car in the near future. Thanks guys!

I searched Columbia and Jefferson City for a new sedan. I was also terminating two leases that were significantly upside down. Columbia Honda gave me excellent offers for both of my leases and an equally excellent offer on a new Honda Accord. The offer was so good that I was able to upgrade from an LX to an EX (a very good decision). Sales staff Leslie and Ryne worked closely together and the interaction was seamless between one and the other. Honda was not on my initial list of cars to look at but after one interaction with the dealership I was sold. Keith in Finance was also efficient and friendly.

I am a very thorough person. I don't make any big purchase without doing a ton of research. With that in mind, I expected to spend an entire weekend going to different dealerships, checking out their cars, and haggling over price. Turns out, I only needed to go to one. I went to Columbia Honda first and I left several hours later with a new vehicle. The sales lady (Michele) was very pleasant to work with. She answered all of my questions and allowed me plenty of space and time to make up my mind. She wasn't breathing down my throat and pressuring me to do anything. I told her what I wanted and she didn't try to push my budget or anything.Honestly, it was just a great experience. They got me the car that I wanted at a great price and without making it a painful experience. Slight complaint: their finance office rain numerous hard inquiries on my credit. Please do soft inquiries. Nevertheless, I highly recommend checking out Columbia Honda and seeing if they can get you hooked up.

All 3 of these employees take time to explain things about my Odyssey very well. They are all always so courteous on the phone, they call me by name when they see me, they are concerned that I feel that the right thing for me is being done to the van. I always ask for Autumn, because she explains things so well. Sweet John was so concerned that my call hadn't been answered one day.They keep explaining things till i understand, never pushing me to do something I don't need. I just always know I can receive correct, honest, kind help from these employees at Honda in Columbia, MO. Last week, TJ even showed me a video of how an engine works, stayed late on a Friday till my van was done, and didn't charge me for fixing my tire with nail. Please pay them extra today! :)

My son found a 2012 Ford Explorer he thought I'd like at Columbia Honda. We had visited the dealership a few months earlier and worked with Joshua Larimore. I asked for Josh when we arrived and was soon behind the wheel of the Explorer on a test drive. Really liked the vehicle so I decided to try to get it financed. Long story short, Josh and the finance team really stepped up their game so I am now the proud owner of that 2012 Ford Explorer. I had looked online at some of the vehicles in stock. The next day, i just had the intention of test driving to get an idea of what i wanted. I pulled up and didnt event make it into the door before I was greeted by Nick, my salesman. He asked me what I was looking for and what I was looking for. He then did an inventory search based on my criteria and came up with some options. During the test drives, I felt very comfortable and at ease. I felt like I was riding with a friend and less like salesperson. At the end of the day, he gave me some options and the carfax of the vehicles I was torn between. He was upfront about each vehicle's history. I finally chose the vehicle for me. After that, I was introduced to Trent, who then worked his magic with numbers and the bank to find a lender that suited my needs that would also be cheap enough to not break the bank each month. Each employee I spoke with that day was so kind and respectful. I've had to show up to the dealership 3 times since that day and each time, they have been just as respectful as they were from the first day. I was a little worried about buying a car from a dealer since my last experience with a dealership was less than pleasurable, but they definitely turned it around for me. I will do business with them again and I will definitely recommend them to anyone buying a vehicle whether it's their first time or 10th time buying one.

Jermaine from the beginning of our process to look at vehicles, my family was very impressed on how he researched vehicles for us to look at/test drive per our requests, worked with us to come up with the best price /working with dealership staff to make a sale if at all possible. Jermaine made sure to provide us water to drink, kept us informed to what was going on while waiting for price negotiations. Jermaine worked patiently, kind and tactful to sell us the car. Jermaine made sure he got the mats before parts closed as well as vehicle detailed. Jermaine took time to explain features on the vehicle as well as answer all of our questions. We were initially looking for a lower mileage used auto for our daughter to replace her 23 year old car, but ended up purchasing a new car instead. Ryne listened to the pros & cons of the (many) automobiles I had looked at (several dealerships) and helped us narrow down our search to a manageable list. After we drove a number of different cars, he suggested that for not that much more , we could purchase a new Honda Fit that would meet all of our requirements AND have a full warranty. He was very patient and allowed us to take our time making decisions and was not pushy in suggesting a new car. Ryne and Dave Johnson were able to get the price to an acceptable one and even approved my request for the nice rubber floor mats to be added.I felt really good about our daughter heading back to college in her new Fit. It has wonderful safety features and gets excellent gas mileage. The warranty gives me peace of mind since she is seven hours away, but has a Honda dealership nearby.

My Odyssey broke down on my way to Omaha, Nebraska and had to be towed to the dealership. My wife and I were on our way from Virginia to see our new great-grandson and the dealership was kind, professional and friendly. As good an experience as I could ask for at the dealership and they were very concerned in getting us back on the road. The repair was to take some time so they gave us a vehicle to drive on to Omaha. Everyone was excellent and T.J. Mitchell our service advisor was excellent.

Even though it was 1-1/2 hrs after the service department closed TJ opened the door for me and proceeded to service my car. He removed a nail from my tire, repaired it within 15 min, and I was on my way. I have dealt with TJ in the past and have always received top-notch service. He goes out of his way to be helpful and genuinely seems to enjoy his job and working with the public. The staff in the service department has always been courteous and helpful working in a timely manner. They are a top-notch crew and deserve all the praise that I can give.

It's 3:00 PM on a Saturday afternoon. The new Accord is washed, gassed and ready to head out of town. You open the door and see that the interior lights aren't working. Start the cat and a message pops up " Charging System Problem". I drove to the dealer explained the problem and told them I had to leave town by 4:30 PM. They got the car in , diagnosed and fixed the problem and i was on the road by 4:00 PM. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !! They always give the best service, but today was exceptionalconsidering the late hour. Thanks to Drew Quinn in the service department and the exceptional mechanics on staff.

Stopped into Columbia Honda on Friday, greeted by Ryne who found the perfect used CR-V for us and let me test drive overnight. The family loved this car! This is our fifth Honda in 36 years. They've all been great cars for the long haul and just keep getting better. We returned on Saturday. Ryne was with other customers, but Mike took care of the deal. From what we found online, the price was already competitive, but Mike gave us our target price even before we could ask! Everything seemed very transparent. Trent called around on a Saturday and found a low finance rate for us and was very patient with all my questions. We were very impressed with our buying experience yesterday, and we've been working with Autumn in service for as long as I can remember. She's fantastic as well.

On this day I was patiently waiting on my sales person to come. Several of the staff had asked me if I had been helped and I advised that I was waiting on my salesperson Chris to come. The service desk had contacted him but he just blew me off stating that I needed to speak with someone else and he would eventually be there and for me to have a seat and wait. After waiting there for over an hour a very nice gentleman by the name of Mr William Shelton (who had asked several times if I needed anything) persistently asked what exactly Chris was suppose to do. I advised that when I purchased my car on Saturday that It was the end of the day and Chris had told me to come back and he would show me what I needed to know about my car and how to connect my phone. I also told him that Chris stated that if I had any trouble I could just read the manual. Mr. Shelton then advised me that he would be more than happy to show me everything I needed to know. Mr. Shelton walked me out to my car and not only showed me everything on my car he set all my settings to my liking and explained all my buttons. He never rushed but took his time. He gave me all of his attention and asked for nothing in return. I had no idea that good customer service was still out there, and now because of this one employees caring, patient and dedicated work ethic I will tell everyone I know and don't know to go to Columbia Honda.

Just bought a brand new Honda Odyssey and though my wife really likes her new van the reason I am writing this is solely because of the positive experience it was for me. My wife and I were referred specifically to Mr Bill Shelton to work with on getting us into a new van and I can see why. It became obvious very quickly that Bill was more interested in making sure we were comfortable with the decisions we were making than he was in making a sale. Totally felt like he was sincerely trying to help us first and foremost. Bill possessed an extremely thorough understanding of features of the van we were looking at and was very patient in showing how the features functioned. Additionally he personally walked us through the entire service department and introduced us personally to the service department manager, and a service writer and technician that we could request to work with when we bring our van in for routine service. There was no pressure from him and absolutely none of the usual non-sense of the car salesman having to run back and forth between the manager to see what kind of 'deal' he could make while keeping us waiting. When it got to a point that we were ready to mover forward with the purchase of the van Bill simply presented a very reasonable and up front price for the van. No silly games what-so-ever. I have absolutely no buyer's remorse and do not feel taken advantage of at all. Thanks for all your help Bill.

Buying a new car is hard work, but selling a car to ME, is even harder. I unexpectedly totaled my vehicle and had to buy a new one in a hurry due to the amount of traveling I do for work. Initially I wasnt convinced on buying a Honda, but a friend referred me to Ryne, and I figured Id give it a go. Ryne went to bat for me from the moment he called me on the phone to set up an appointment. I explained to him that my other car had not yet been paid for by my insurance, and he assured me that his finance team could get the deal done regardless. Upon my arrival to the dealership; Ryne met me with a bottle of water, and a smile on his face. He already had the car I was interested in pulled around and ready to go. He handled my interrogation about the new 2016 Honda Civic very well, and went over the information multiple times to ease my anxiety. He patiently waited as I drove two separate cars, multiple times, and compared them. He also stood with me for what seemed like an eternity while I decided between two different colors. When everything was all said and done, Ryne even followed me in my new car, so I could drop off my rental. Picking a new car is easy, but finding the right price can be stressful. In addition to totaling my vehicle, Im in the middle of buying a house, so my budget for a new car was limited. When it came time to negotiate the price, Dave, the Sales Manager, listened to my story and gave me the best deal on a car I have ever seen. His low pressure approach is unmatched by any Sales Manager I have ever interacted with. During the paperwork process; Keith answered all of my questions, and was very informative. He made it easy for me to go get my car titled and registered, and his sense of humor makes going over numbers a breeze!After totaling my other vehicle, I knew I needed GAP coverage on my new Honda. Danny, the General Manager, assisted me in getting this extra insurance coverage on my vehicle at a great price, and even kept me company while I was waiting for my deal to be finalized.Lastly, a few days after my purchase I was having trouble figuring out some settings in my car, so I decided to stop by on my way home from work. I called Ryne as I was pulling into the dealership and he said he was out of the office due to illness, but that he would call and have someone greet me. Within minutes Dorian approached me. We recently worked with Ryan to purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Honda Odyssey. While we originally went to buy a different vehicle, Ryan showed us this vehicle thinking it might fit our needs better and it was love at first drive. Ryan and Mike worked tirelessly to get our payments where we were satisfied with them, as well as getting us the most money possible out of our trade in. Since I leased my last car, I moved from Columbia, MO to Wentzville, MO. My Product Specialist, Dorian, contacted me based on the fact my lease contract was going to expire in the next 3 months. We stopped in late on a Saturday and even though we were looking for a very cheap car (one they don't usually keep on the lot but had been traded in earlier that day) he treated us as if we were the most important sale he's ever had. Since I was sixteen, I've driven a Jeep Liberty. It was given to me by my parents when I first obtained my drivers license, and when I finally decided to buy my very first car, the Jeep had hit 14 years old. I had never purchased a car before, had no idea what to expect, and all I knew for sure was that I wanted a Honda Civic. I was unsure of what year I wanted, if I wanted a new or used car, or if I wanted a two door or a four door car. Ryne was incredible helpful from the get go. He was extremely kind and patient and never once made me feel like I was under any pressure in making a decision towards any car in particular. I finally decided that on a 2dr Honda Civic EX-L and unfortunately, Honda did not have any on their lot at the time, so I was going to have to put down a deposit to have one ordered for me. The Saturday that I planned on putting down a deposit, a 2dr Honda Civic EX-T came in. Ryne didn't hesitate to tell me, and I immediately put down a deposit to hold it. It did not have the leather like I had originally wanted, but the car ended up being absolutely perfect for me. He was also incredibly helpful in making sure that I got the most for my trade in, as well as making sure that I got the best deal possible on my car. I do not think that I could have picked a better salesman, especially for my first car purchase. I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know, first time buyers and those who have purchased cars before.

I came into Columbia Honda with absolutely no expectations. I loved the new Honda Accord body style so I wanted to check them out for myself. Ryne was very helpful and patient. We test drive FOUR different cars and I had to tell him I was ready to see if we could make a deal. Which is really awesome considering my history with looking at cars; I've never been NOT pressured while test driving a car. I was given more than I ever anticipated for my trade in and now I'm driving my dream car. I am so thankful for the entire team for making this possible, including Mark in financing. (He had to redo the paperwork because I gave my previous address accidentally.) I couldn't say enough good things about my experience!

TJ has been our good to guy for a while now. I can count on him to be honest with me and my family and I feel comfortable around him. My kids love to go to the service department because he is so nice to them and always making them laugh. You should know you've got a great employee when your kids are excited to go get an oil change! He also is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Our Columbia Honda purchase of our new CR-V was a pleasant experience. This was our fourth Honda CR-V purchase and we love the CR-V so much that we didn't think about getting any other vehicle. We felt we were treated fairly and want to thank Jeremy for his help. The color we wanted was not on the lot but Jeremy helped locate the one we wanted. I recently took my 2013 Honda Crosstour in for routine serviceing. (motor oil & filter change and tire rotation) I was then recommended to have my differential oil and transmission fluid changed as well as both the cabin air filter and motor air filter replaced. I do NOT live on or regularly drive dusty roads and my car had only 31,000 miles. I thought it was strange that I had NEVER had to have the differential oil or transmission fluid changed in any of my cars that had MORE miles on them....but, I , sadly TRUSTED them. The filters 'might' have needed changing...but, most certainly, the differential and transmission fluids did NOT need to be changed. I will never be back and would caution anyone to REALLY check around and find a more trustworthy place to do your servicing. I certainly will.

Before going to the actual dealership, I looked through its website. After finding the vehicle I thought I wanted, I called and spoke with Kayla Pikop. She listened to my thoughts and ideas and we discussed the vehicles available. Later in the evening, I texted Kayla, she gave me her cell in case I had any questions, asking about pricing, rebates and discounts. She immediately answered all questions. I was so delighted with my experience already, the next day I went to the dealership to discuss a purchase. Again, Kayla was super helpful and VERY patient with me. Once I decided on the exact car, the managers worked with me on pricing and the finance department got me an even better percentage rate than I had on my pre-approval from my bank. I had an excellent experience today at Columbia Honda. The quality of the experience began before I arrived at the dealership, after I submitted an inquiry yesterday and received a phone call within a few hours. My sales representative (Ryne Armstrong) even returned a phone call after he had left work. This level of professionalism was even more evident when I arrived at the dealership this morning. Not only did they have preset appointments displayed for an easy transition upon arrival, but also Ryne was waiting at the front desk promptly at the start of my appointment at 11 AM. From the small things, such as making sure I was settled in with a perfect cup of coffee, to starting with pulling my credit information so that we could maximize on our time today, this was most certainly my best vehicle purchasing experience. The sales team was not only professional, but also personable, engaged, and conducted sales with integrity. So I went into the Honda dealership with no expectations of being able to drive out of there in a newer car that met my budget and feature wants and needs. By asking me some questions and really getting to know what my needs were going to be, Ryne suggested leasing a brand new Honda Fit. At first I thought, no way could this work with my budget! But after crunching some numbers for me, low and behold I was amazed and what we were able to work out. I am now happily leasing a brand new car and I am in love with it and I could just kiss this guy! I will never go anywhere else so long as I'm in Columbia :)

I worked with Frank on a trade-in. The management was very rude and pressured me. I spent close to 3 hours waiting around to finalize my deal. They clearly didn't respect me possibly because I was younger than most customers. Then they promised to send gift cards for good reviews on this site. I'm almost positive this is against DealerRater's TOS and will be reporting that to them.

I recently bought a used Honda Ridgeline. I had Ben McCanless as my salesman. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was able to show me all the maintenance records for the vehicle due to it always being serviced at this dealership. I was impressed by how quickly Ben was able to work the best deal for me. I felt he was always working to get the most for my trade-in, and the lowest price on the Ridgeline. I have worked with a lot of other salesman over the years, and most are more worried about how much commission they are going to make, instead of taking care of the customer. Brandon Kaufman in the finance office was also very nice and helpful. Ben McCanless has made me a life long Columbia Honda customer.

She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience fun and exciting. We were so relieved to be able to take our time deciding without feeling cornered or manipulated. Kayla and her managers, Caleb White, Trent Custard, and Josh Badder, all went the extra mile to find the exact Civic my daughter wanted, and the Finance Specialist, Keith Marlett, was so helpful with ideas on how to best establish credit for my daughter and some great warranty and service packages to save us money on maintenance. I called this dealership about one used Honda CRV, but unfortunately missed out on that one. They knew what I was looking for and called me a week later with another good used CRV. Chris Campbell was very easy to work with. He kept in touch with me without being pushy and worked with me to arrange a good time for me to see the car. He listened to my concerns and addressed them without seeming dishonest. The price negotiation was very painless and I feel they were fair even though I am aware that the dealer needs to make money on a transaction, Chris told me about the fact that the extended warranty and gap insurance on my 2014 CRV were refundable and helped me find out who to contact. This resulted in approximately $2000 in my pocket for the refunds. The procedure for signing papers at this dealership was very quick and easy.I would recommend this dealership.

My husband and I have been in need of a 3rd row seat SUV for a while. I was looking specifically for a Chevy or GMC. I kept an eye online for quite a while, but cars were going like crazy. I finally saw the Acadia we purchased pop up online and called that monday. Ryan was quick in letting me know if it was still available. We left at 3 (we live an hr away) and we're home by 7-8 with our new vehicle! They made sure the gas tank was almost full, and the vehicle was nice and clean. Not to mention through all the paperwork and such, my 9 year old and 18 month old kept themselves entertained in the playroom and TV/snack area the whole time. We were pretty excited to have gotten exactly what we wanted. The lot is huge and if you can't find what they want there, they have access to all the Machens lots also. This was my first time purchasing a car financed under my own name. As a young graduate entering the new world on my own, one could only imagine how stressful this could be. My parents insisted on being present-- if anyone knows my parents- my MOTHER is the hardest person to please....She always felt that salesmen try to take advantage of people- Especially newbies ..and refused to let that to happen to me. They insisted that they be present and do the talking.. so I went ahead and let them.. Ok ok- let's be honest I didn't really have a choice... SO... the 5 STARS really should be 10 STARS! Anyone that was able to please my mom so quickly and did EVERYTHING EXACTLY as she would like it- without hesitation nor back and forth bargaining deserves a 10! Trust me she was waiting for her "aha" moment.. it never came.. - Then my mom said.. "it's coming this is TOO GOOD of an OUT THE DOOR price....just wait and you will see"... happy that didn't come either!So, where can I start, upon arrival we were greeted by none other than the GM - Danny Hammock, we didn't know he was the GM as he didn't introduce himself as such, other than his name and extended handshake. (That's not a bad thing- to me it meant he didn't feel the need to make title known, he seemed more interested in what he could do for us)...He gets us introduced to Nicholas B.Costanza - now here is where I expect the drama from my mama to begin... Of course my parents have purchased many vehicles and they think they know EVERYTHING...they probably do BUT my mom is a stickler... she doesn't like wasting any time, states what I was looking for and isn't one to budge.Nicholas handled her like a charm, showed me what I was looking for, did offer me a chance to view other selections in case I wanted options. BUT didn't sway me from what I was looking at. Nice right... well little did I know that the budget and year model that I was looking at could enable me to "upgrade". Now here's where my mother assumes "here we go this is where they sway you into something similar in price but then after all is added up, we have hit over the budget.."Here goes my mother prepping for defense mode.... Crazy to think that Nicholas was in fact doing the opposite - getting me a newer model and color I wanted and price range I wanted- heck even down to the interior color I wanted...Even then I felt like I was getting picky and like mom said they more things you ask for the higher the price... Nick was like working some magic or something and getting the price to my budget so I could have that new car for my used car budget. My mom couldn't praise him or the GM enough, who of course - we had learned later who he was in the Columbia Honda hierarchy, :).. from Nicholas. She loved that Nick REALLY listened to her, cut to the chase, didn't try to divert, didn't waste many hours going back and forth haggling for hours.. etc.... COUNTLESS hours saved!! I think my parents spent more time getting to know the GM and talking about their bad experiences with other dealers ...Moms guard is down for sure-- when she starts venting about how other dealers played fast ones on them before and that's why she is her savvy self in car buying now..and wanted to be present for my car purchase.All the while Nicholas was going over the other details with me..although given a few minutes more, I am sure my parents would have purchased an UNNEEDED car just because they really liked them! I was impressed at the level of standard Columbia Honda handed to us, I was not just another person they needed to make a commission off of...But they did what some dealerships don't do.. THEY LISTENED!! My parents were VERY up front to Nicholas and said it like it was .. After all, this was my first car on my own that my parents weren't paying for so having them there helped me learn- JUST SAY what YOU want and let them WORK for you. Simple as that.. I felt that the GM (D. Hammack) had a good relationship with his sales team because he seemed very involved in many other sales going on around him- it wasn't just us that received his attention. He seemed to care about anyone sitting at a desk going over purchases with any of the Sales team. So I knew his presence was genuine - not a tag team part to help his salesman make a sale. He displayed it to everyone else on the floor.Nicholas did a wonderful job, in fact he was on point and truly understood that he was dealing with some very "difficult" parents... As I joked- but couldn't stress how my parents are a hard bargain to deal with. In the end he WON my mom over- she was more impressed that she was in and out in less than 4 hours. Let alone I was getting a NEW CIVIC vs USED one and didn't break the bank, wasn't entering into an extended loan length to "meet" my payment price, I didn't have to put any money down, and had a GREAT APR rate- almost to nothing... Need I be disappointed? I was ecstatic and taken back that Nick was really making this easier than I was expecting... After my sale was done and few days later passed he followed up with care of handling some minor details that were corrected and I could not be more pleased. This dealership exceeded my expectations and my parents have had MANY experiences at dealerships across the country. They even admit it was better than the dealer they got my moms Accord from...... I could tell that I was dealing with a good salesman when he gave me a great price right off the back on the car I wanted. They also had excellent Google+ reviews, so I felt comfortable buying out of state! Nicholas was very fast at getting stuff done. I loved that! I spoke to about 30 different salesman over the course of about 5 days and I you could tell pretty quickly which ones were honest and which ones treat their customers like crap. Columbia Honda was a pleasure to work with. Thanks for the amazing car guys!!!

BILL SHELTON talked to me on the phone and the car was as promised. We took a test drive and ready to buy. Then things went downhill. We waited 2 1/2 hours to sign the finance papers. When we arrived, there was one customer looking at cars. After our test drive, another customer had come in. I personally watched 4 customers THAT CAME IN AFTER US .being taken for finance. We had been pre-approved for credit.and papers were approved and ready, but we ad to wait for finance, who did nothing but try to sell us service plans etc. If that car was available ANYWHERE ELSE, WE WOULD HAVE LEFT. if not for Bill Shelton... .

Also, time is very valuable to me and my salesman was ready to complete the transaction when I showed up the next day to pick up the vehicle. This the 2nd vehicle I have bought at this dealership. It was my first time buying a car and I was a bit nervous about the whole thing but as soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I wanted anything to drink or eat and I was immediately feeling less nervous. It's a calm environment and they don't pressure you to buy anything, they work with you and make sure you're truly happy with your selection. Going in, I didn't know what to expect. I didn't want a particular car, but I did want something nice and reliable, although with my credit, bad but not good, I wasn't too sure about it. They assured me that I would be able to obtain what I had wanted and I did. The credit process was very easy. While waiting, Honda staff would stop and ask me if I needed anything every few minutes. Everything was explained to me in a way that I could understand. I was able to get into a nice Honda Accord. The salesman explained everything there was to know about my car. I love it. The Finance staff that I dealt with was the same way with explaining everything as far as paperwork. I have recommended others from my job to go to the same dealership. They received the same customer service, and obtained cars themselves. I highly recommend Columbia Honda, as they will continue to get my business.

Being in sales myself, buying a car has always seemed to be more difficult than it needs to be. I have to say that Columbia Honda made the process enjoyable. Our sales person (Robert Keeton) was polite, professional, and most of all patient with me. I told him already, I'll be back for my next Honda buying experience. I live closer to about 5 other Honda dealers in the STL metro area yet, Columbia Honda earned my business. I dealt with Joshua Larimore from the sales department and with Mike MIller, Sales Manager, to lease a new 2016 CR-V. I still had a couple of months remaining on my old lease and they were ablt to buy out the remaining lease payments and get me into a new 2016 vehicle for the same payment that I had with a 2013 Honda Crosstour. The dealership was very well run and held the customer in very high esteem. This has been my first encounter with the sales group at Columbia Honda but have used their Service Department in the past which was also very good. I would hardily recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good price with little need to negotiate a good price on a quality Honda product. Would definitely purchase another vehicle with this sales team.

So as you can imagine and may have experienced yourself, dealing with car dealerships can be quite the pain in the rear. This had happened to me on a few occasions in the past (to be clear it was with other dealers). So when the time came to start looking for a vehicle, I dreaded it. Enter Josh Larimore. I have known Josh for a while, so I decided to give him a shot. I spent a couple days looking at their inventory online, as well as a few other places, and doing research on what type of vehicle I might want. I called and told him I was coming in to look at a couple of cars on a particular day and time. When I arrived he was waiting for me with a smile and a handshake and of course greeted me by name. Unfortunately my top pick had been sold, but my second, third, and fourth were available. After test drives I settled on a car. Now for the wheeling and dealing..... right? Not so much...... at least not with Josh. Josh was a straight shooter on the deal. Hey, honestly we could had big discussions about value, and why this and why that....... or, we could _not_ do that and just get straight to it, which is exactly what we did. Here is my vehicle, which books for X, and here is your vehicle which books for X. So lets do deal X/X and get the papers signed. Yes of course the manager had to try to step in and try to haggle a bit, which I understand is his job. But Josh and I had a deal and that was the deal that I got. After all, you have one excellent sales guy, and he did a great job with me..... so let him do it. That being said, it was not at all high pressure, and the deal Josh made with me was fair and reasonable. The manager honored it, and I got it.Even the part with the finance guy was pleasant. Of course it is his job to offer the extended warranties and such, which he did quite well by offering lots of options. But what was even better than that was that I felt no pressure at all, even when i declined those warranties. He said "no problem" and finished the paperwork.Now..... the best parts...... They were able to cut my previous interest rate in half, lower my monthly payment by $450 per month, and put my in the car I wanted all within a couple of hours. Great Job guys! You will certainly have first shot of my business in the future!

We have purchased several vehicles from Honda in Columbia. We never felt as though the customer service was a point of interest with fletcher honda. However, it was great to hear from all employees how the new ownership has an emphasis on their employees. It really does show. I took my older Odyssey for a simple headlight bulb change and Tyler took the time to not only call me back the day before to confirm they had right bulb, but quickly installed for me. I will not forget when more serious repair required..

Sean Farris, our sales representative listened to us, didn't try to upsell us, gave us time to talk alone and answered all our questions. Mike Miller, the Sales Manager, was also excellent to work with. He said our car would arrive in 5 days but they got us the car in 4 hours. It is perfect! We came to get a safe, reliable car for our teen. We worked with Kayla, Trenton, and Brandon. We gave them our criteria and price limit, and they brought the perfect car the first time. There were some minor glitches we noticed right after we left, so we returned and were taken care of immediately. They got their top tech involved and resolved the issue quickly and completely. Their concern on making sure we were completely satisfied was very much appreciated. The glitches turned out to be very minor, easily explained, and easily fixed. We left with a great vehicle at a great price, and with the knowledge that we could return with any concerns and they would be promptly and professionally resolved. My husband and I had a 2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L minivan we had bought new from this dealership (previously Fletcher Honda). My husband is 79 years old and has neurological problems including Parkinson's and I am also elderly and disabled. Our 2010 Honda Odyssey was in pristine condition with only 23,200 miles on the odometer and top quality Michelin tires rated to last another 27,000 miles. We were interested in upgrading to a 2016 Honda Odyssey only because of the latest safety features. I phoned Columbia Honda for a rough estimate of the trade-in value of our vehicle. I gave sales manager Trent Custard the VIN (vehicle identification number) and odometer reading so he would know exactly what features this vehicle had. He phoned me back and said our trade-in was worth "$16,000-$17,500 and even more depending on the condition". He also said if we bought a new vehicle NOW, we would get a great deal because of end-of-the-month incentives. I phoned the dealership on October 31 and said we would stop in just to see if we were even interested in a 2016 Odyssey because out-of-town friends with a 2013 Odyssey told us that getting in and out of the front seats was not easy for someone with disabilities. We did not research reasonable prices because we had no intention of buying a vehicle because of this possibility. However, we got into the front seats of a 2016 Odyssey at Columbia Honda, took a test drive, and liked the new van. Columbia Honda's website advertises no high pressure sales tactics and fair prices. Trent Custard had assured us we would get a great deal because it was the end of the month, so we believed him and traded in our 2010 van for $17,500 towards the new van on the spot, paying $1902.50 off MSRP without going home to check sites like Edmunds.com regarding average price paid for this vehicle. When I checked Edmunds.com I learned that average price paid for the new vehicle is $3,429.00 off MSRP. I phoned our previous saleslady now working with Trent and told her we had been misled regarding a fair price for our new vehicle. She said she would discuss my displeasure with Trent and to come in the next day. When we met with Trent the next day, I told him we had paid $1526.50 plus tax over the average price paid and I asked for some concessions from the dealership. He essentially said, "Tough luck. Average selling prices listed at Edmunds.com are nationwide and not applicable to Columbia, MO." Also, he said we should not have waited almost three weeks to ask for any of the things I suggested I would like to receive: Extra key programmed for the driver side door because I kept dropping the key between the front seat and the useless nuisance to me center console and could not get it out without going into my house for an object like a butter knife to help: "No Way! Those keys are expensive!"(We gave them three remote keys with our trade-in.) How about a Honda extended warranty? "Forget it! Too expensive!" How about full service for three years? "No! I already gave you one free oil change!" (Wow! How generous!) My husband and I are elderly so he knows this will probably be the last vehicle we buy, plus it will be driven even less than our 2010 trade-in, so we would not need much servicing. By the way, our 2010 van for which we paid $34,000 plus tax new from this dealership and traded in for $17,500 was driven home that very day by a new buyer. Basically, all it needed was light vacuuming and a fill-up of the gas tank. (We later found out it was sold for $20,298, which is $2,798 more than the $17,500 we received.) I find it hard to believe persons from Columbia Honda did not deal with me fairly. I know I was stupid for thinking they were being honest with me, but I am not favorably impressed after I later found out I had paid over $1500 more than average selling price and they refused to give me anything at all in the interest in customer good will. In addition, my husband is biased towards Michelin tires, which we had always had on previous vehicles, so he discussed the matter with Trent on the day of our sale and we were told we would be able to switch to Michelin tires as soon they got in a vehicle with Michelins. When we then went in and asked when we could expect to receive our Michelin tires, we found out we would get them as soon as they got in a USED vehicle with Michelins. What? We are going to be stupid enough to trade our low-mileage (121 miles on the odometer at that time) Continental tires for used Michelin tires if/when they become available?

He was great and was able to fix my problem in a short amount of time and more importantly cost less than $10. The staff there is always very helpful and friendly. There's a lot to this story but here's the short version. I was driving my dad (grew up in KC as a Royals fan, now lives in NY) to KC from STL (where I live, after growing up in NY as a Mets fan) to attend Game #2 of the Royals v. Mets 2015 World Series. Broke down on I-70 and had a great tow truck driver deposit us at Columbia Honda. First pitch was just a few hours away, we'd been making great time, suddenly had no car and making it to the game seemed less likely with each passing minute. TJ greeted us with a smile, quickly determined how badly we needed to get back on the road and calmly reassured us he'd get us taken care of. He sure did. Turned out all we needed was a new battery but he balanced running all diagnostics to ensure we didn't break down again against the need to get rolling towards Kaufmann Stadium as quickly as possible. Without TJ taking a real interest in helping us get back on the road QUICKLY and SAFELY we would have missed the World Series game and not had the memorable father/son experience that we were counting on. And TJ even called me the next afternoon to check in and make sure we made it to KC for the game and safely back to STL without further car trouble. TJ - your customer experience was really fantastic and we are so fortunate to have met you last week. You saved us!!

The Service Department at Columbia Honda always provides great service. John, Autum, and T.J. always go above and beyond to see that I get great service as to the work done and in making things convenient for my schedule. Today, T.J. took care of an update of the software for our power steering and made extra efforts to get the service done with a fast turnaround for me. We have four Hondas and service them all at Columbia Honda because of these great people in the service department.

Got a recall for the power steering om my 2013 Accord on Tuesday morning. While I was out running errands Wednesday, I went by the dealership to schedule an appointment to have the recall service done. TJ told me they could get me in the next day, Thursday morning, if that worked for my schedule. I arrived at 8AM and was Done and on my way by 9AM. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!! Every other place I have ever been for service I have had to wait days to get in and leave my car all day or maybe two so they could work on it when they got around to it. Definitely not the case here. TJ and Autum are very respectful of their customers time and schedule. They make appointments at the convenience of the customers schedule, not when they feel like getting around to it. My 2003 Accord, then 2008 and most currently my 2013 Accord have had all their warranty and service work done at this dealers service department and they have ALWAYS done an excellent job.You will not find a better place than this to have your Honda serviced. Outstanding counseling by Service Personnel. Always give alternative strategies, where possible. I always feel they care about their customers and want what's in the customer's best interests. Very competent, clear, and friendly with explanations, TJ in particular. I've had a bit of trouble lately with my 1994 Accord Coupe; unhesitatingly, I'm given a loaner. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else for service or the purchase of a new car (currently waiting for my 2016 Accord Coupe Touring to arrive).

On 10/12 we were returning home from vacation and were about 160 miles from home when the engine light came on in our 2011 Honda Pilot, which we had purchased 2 months before. It was about 5:30 pm and out of desperation we called our dealership. TJ Mitchell was the only person still there and did answer the phone. We explained the problem and he told us to go to Auto Zone to get the codes checked and to call him back. We did make it home that night. TJ called first thing Tuesday morning to be sure we were home. We took the car in and he made sure it was taken care of. We appreciated the good service, but as two females traveling and a long way from home, it was wonderful to have someone willing to work after hours to be sure a customer was taken care of. I have owned several different brands of vehicles and wouldn't recommend ANY of them because of their nonexistent customer service and poor, shoddy work. That was before I found Autum and T.J..I took my '03 Accord in because the temp/radio/info screen went bonkers. I asked to have it checked out and get an estimate before fixing it because I was really expensive to replace it, and the car was out of warranty. I returned to find they had replaced it at NO CHARGE, even though I hadn't purchased the car from them, because it shouldn't have failed. I have been a customer ever since. They are honest, provide excellent service,very professional and treat you like family. They always great you by name and actually listen to their customers. If you haven't tried them, then you have no idea what true customer service is all about. Trust me, you won't ever want to go anywhere else.And by the way, the sales department is also excellent. Truly courteous, professional and very helpful. I stopped by to ask a question or look at something or other probably 50 times before I bought my car. The sales person was always helpful, knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions till I was absolutely sure of what I wanted. Recently I met Ben McCanless; he is the same way as my last sales person at this dealership. Great guy, glad to answer questions, very knowledgeable and very patient.

This is not a typical buying a super reliable Honda story at a Honda dealership. This is about buying a used Ford F250 Diesel truck at a Honda dealership. I found the truck online at cars.com and was attracted to come see the vehicle 150 miles away by the price, mileage, and powertrain warranty. I figured that since the truck was at a Honda dealership they would also make sure the truck was tip top. Unfortunately when I took the truck for a test drive, in the first 200 feet, I tested out the 4x4 high mode. It turned on the defroster which means that the 4x4 was broke. I was really bummed because I drove 2.5 hours for nothing. The service department stepped up and put it on the lift and said we can fix it! I was a little skeptical but noticed one of the service guys drove a 2500 diesel, so I thought what the heck. After a bit of negotiation, we finally agreed to a price and they gave me a fair deal on my trade in. All in all I was pleased. In the state of Missouri, you have 3 days to return a vehicle to a dealership. During this time, we had discussed that I would take the truck to a local diesel specialist shop in Kansas City (Absolute Powerstroke in Liberty) to get it checked out (I dont know a thing about diesel engines). After they checked out the vehicle they discovered an issue with it (known issue with the 6.0L Ford Diesel engine). The Honda dealership said, no worries we will come get the truck and fix it. The sent a driver out and swapped me for a loaner car while they fixed it. They did a great job getting in repaired in a couple of days and sent a driver back out to swap me cars. I couldnt be happier. Columbia Honda was more than fair and I felt like they did an excellent job in customer service. If you are thinking about getting a new or used car, be rest assured they will do what they can to make your experience easy and frustration free.

From out of town. Had a dead battery. I was tired and stressed out. came to the service dept to see if they could help. TJ Mitchell and Drew Quinn assured me they could. Had the car jumped and came back to the service dept. They checked to make sure that was the problem, had a new battery put in and was out of there in less than 30 minutes!!! How wonderful was that!!!! TJ Mitchell and Drew Quinn were very pleasant to work with and very helful!!!!Thank you!!!!!!

Had a very nice and smooth business with this dealership even this is the first time to buy a used car from other state. Kaylin - Business Development Manager was very patient and helpful in our first communications. The dealership also arranged a staff to pick me up at the airport and bring me into the dealer. I initially meet Brandon at the Jefferson City Fourth of July celebration going on downtown. Brandon was displaying the brand new 16' Pilot which was super awesome! I had a 14' Toyota Highlander that I was very happy with but I also own an 04' Odyssey and prior to that a 99' Accord. So needless to say...I'm a true Honda girl! Brandon was passing out his BlueShoeDude towels with his business contact info. on them. As I walked away I couldn't help but think, wow, I need to see Brandon about trading my sweet Highlander for the Pilot. Needless to say, my experience with purchasing my 2016 Honda Pilot was made very easy and attainable with Brandon's superior customer service! Brandon is a super nice guy and knows his business!

After reading several outstanding reviews on various websites, I decided to negotiate a car price over the phone for a certified used 2013 Honda CRV. I asked for assessories to be included along with an extra key. When we got to the dealership, the accessories were installed. My first clue that something was different with this dealership occured when the salesman presented us with 2 keys. He said key number 2 was the extra key I had negotiated. We told him we expected 3 keys. He promised to get right on it.The salesman said the car had not been detailed, so we had to wait. We thought we were waiting for a key and detailing. When we were escorted into finacing, we were told the car did not have an extended warranty. We protested that we bought a Certified Used Honda. I even wrote the word Certified on the sales contract because I was starting to get nervous about what was promised and what we were getting. When we handed over the check, we were given 2 keys, not 3. Then I wrote on the contract that an extra key was included in the deal. Our salesman said the key was not ready and he would mail the key to us. We drove away in a car that did not have a full tank of gas. The next day I noticed that the sunvisor was broken on the drivers side and the fog lamp was cracked on the passenger side. I read through my paper work, and it clearly states that a Certified Used Car goes through an inspection, and they replace any broken items with genuine Honda parts. I took pictures and then texted them to our salesman Caleb White. He said he would send us a check for $170.00 along with the key. After over a dozen texts and phone calls, three weeks later we got a key in the mail that does not open the car door. A check for $170.00 was included in the envelope. I texted Caleb and he told me that the key needed to be programmed. I called a local dealer's service department and was told that the door is mechanical. If the key does not open the door, it won't start the car. The local dealer will cut a valet key and program it for $145. The fog lamp costs $300 to replace. I did not get an estimate on the sun visor. This is such a nuisance. I called Caleb White, I called his boss, Mike Miller, I even called Keith in finance, since he gave me his card and said to call him if I needed anything. None of these people called me back. I finally called Honda Cars of America to open a dealer complaint with them. It's been a month, and I do not have the extra key that was written in the contract.My best advise is to avoid this dealership. There are many great Honda dealers that treat their customers well. I love the car and despise this dealership.

I walked in one day after work knowing the car I wanted if the price was right-- and was prepared to pay in cash. Initially I was quoted $500 over the price listed on the website, but that was quickly remedied. The test drive confirmed my impression from the online ad, and I was able to complete the purchase then and there before closing.Overall, the sale was very easy-- however, it's the service after the sale that fell short. One thing that wasn't dealt with well was the funny smell in the car, which was originally attributed by the salesperson to the cleaning chemicals they used (which were actually an attempt to mask the smoke from the previous owner). Once this faded, it became clear what the real issue was. When this was brought to their attention after the sale, they immediately took it back to address the issue. Turns out, however, the 'fix' was to place 5-6 incredibly powerful air freshener squares hidden inside the car seats. Needless to say, the smell returned. After paying over $100 for a private detailer to address the problem, we have a great-smelling car that we love.

See our original review below. Our original buying experience was absolutely terrible. However, upon publishing this review, I was contacted by managers (I had tried calling a few times and not gotten a response) who expressed willingness to work with me to make things right. They looked into a few options and we ended up returning the vehicle and switching it out for a vehicle that did have the characteristics we wanted. This time, we worked with Brandon Kaufman, who was simply wonderful to work with. He willingly looked up additional details, answered all questions we had, and gave us plenty of time to inspect the vehicle as well as a zero pressure environment to make our final decision. He was also willing to go above and beyond to get the vehicle to us in a timely manner. I honestly don't know which experience is more typical, but I am amending my stance from "we will never use this dealership again" to "we may be willing to use this dealership again"-but only if we can work with a known entity. Additionally, they were willing to refund our key purchase, which I appreciate-this was just a tiny part of the reason we were unhappy before, but the gesture is appreciated.We will not return to this dealership. We made an appointment to look at specific vehicles. When we arrived neither of the ones we specifically requested was available. We liked the one we looked at so decide to purchase. We felt very pressured by our sales person to make a quick decision so we took his word on some safety features of the vehicle. This was obviously our mistake-we should have double checked. As it turns out he lied to us about several features that were very important to us. Now we are stuck with a vehicle that does not have features we wanted. I would definitely say buyer should beware at this dealership. Don't believe a thing they tell you even about standard features on a certain vehicle model. Small annoyances that just reflect very poor customer service and an attempt to nickel and dime the customer- we were given only 1 key and told we will have to pay >$100 for additional keys, and the car was given to us on an empty gas tank. We will not return to this dealership next time we need a vehicle but instead will drive to St Louis or even another state if needed as we are very dissatisfied with the sales experience, lack of customer service, and vehicle.

I came into the dealership looking at a completely different car than what I ended up driving away with, because the car I thought I wanted just didn't fit me to well. So I walked the lot with Morgan and I came across a 06 Nissan Xterra, test drove it, and I loved it! The negotiating was a big part of this whole deal and after debating my price range and what I could afford these guys made it work, when I didn't have much hope left! And got the payment UNDER my budget amend knocked the deal out of the park!! They all went above and beyond for me! There is no doubt I wouldn't recommend them to someone and no doubt I'll be back! Recently i needed my car fixed fast and i was able to get my car in to service the next day unlike other dealerships that couldn't get me in for over a week! While i was nervous at first to get my car fixed by a dealership, since i have a whole family full of mechanics back home that have always told all the horrors stories, i was quickly relieved but how myself and my vehicle were taken care of. You want to be sure that the person selling you a car is doing there VERY best to make you happy. I bought a used car from Columbia Honda on 4/17/2015. Mark Sanders is not just a wonderful individual, but one of the best salesman in Missouri. I didn't just say in Columbia. Mark Sanders made sure that he would try to find the best car for my needs and he did just that. I ended up being in a car wreck just a week later. Mark never stopped reaching out to me to make sure I was happy. Once he found out about the car wreck, he still did he very best to keep me in the loop of new things on the lot that I might be interested in. He did it again. Our recent experience buying a new CRV was the best yet thanks to Jim Robertson. You would have thought we were royalty by the way we were treated. But it didn't stop at the sales department. Columbia Honda has a jewel of a service department and in particular in T.J. Mitchell. Most service department employees would have rolled their eyes at all we were asking - not T.J. He helped us immeasurably and graciously with the numerous add-ons we wanted installed. He made it fun. T.J. is a great asset to Columbia Honda. Two thumbs up to all the folks at Columbia Honda.

Firstly the used vehicle was misrepresented as I was told it had not been in any accidents when it had body damage visible (but it simply had not been reported to Carfax). Then I negotiated the dent be pulled and the scrapes down the length of the drivers side be touched up and a hole in the drivers seat leather be patched. They also agreed to give me $25 in gas and detail the interior. After leaving them the vehicle for a week for this to be completed it was returned to me with an empty gas tank, dirty interior (complete with debris and gum wrappers) my paperwork in the glove compartment was rifled through, items were missing, the seat was not patched at all, the paint on the bumper did not match the car, and the scrapes on the side were about 50% touched up with the accuracy of a kindergartner on a bad day. When I brought this to their attention (how they failed to see it I will never understand) I was told "sorry but I'll have to make you another appointment" great just what I wanted...and 48+ hours later no additional appointment has been made or any follow up what-so ever. No wonder they have to complete a customer survey within 5 minutes of the sale...after that they seem to have your money and no longer care about the service they provide.

Took the car in for 50,000 maintenance. They came up with about $500 worth of work that needed to be done to maintain the car. There was an air and pollen cleaning, fuel induction cleaning, brake and power steering fluid replacement and we were told we should not pass up the AC fresh and cool special for 69.95. From my research, the only thing that maybe needs to be done is the brake fluid. Nothing was on the honda official schedule at 50,000 miles.Be careful

I recently purchased a new Honda CRV EX 2015 from Columbia Honda . I felt that they were pretty reasonable and eager to go the extra mile to get my business. I have requested for additional accessories for the car which they agreed. Mark Sanders is the sales man who worked with me. He is a very professional and nice guy to work with. He is not pushy and was very understanding. I know they do a good service post selling. They have a good service center and I already go to them for my other Honda civic. Over all , I would recommend this dealer , if you are at Columbia.

I am on my 3rd Honda and I have purchased all three, and had all maintenance on all three done at Columbia Honda. I do not trust anyone else to give me a better deal on cars or service. They ensure my cars get what they need and I never have to worry about it draining my bank account. There are never any surprises or unnecessary repairs. I always use the same two service technicians and they are always friendly, honest, and easy to work with.

I drove in from St Louis and worked with the internet dept and Caleb White. Bought a 15 Honda Pilot. Everyone treated us well with little BS including the finance guy. Just know want you're buying and get your financing in order before you go ( that's for any dealership though). I have no complaints and believe me when I say I'm picky about customer service. I'd use them again when we're in the market again. Nice dealership.

I just purchased my second brand new Honda - the new 2016 HRV! This dealership was very good to work with and treated me like my business was important to them, unlike other dealerships in our town. It was a great car-buying experience. My sales person, Brandon Jones, was great! He's relatively new to car sales, but he was so relaxed, and he was very prepared, knowing a lot about the vehicle. If he didn't know, he would ask, and that was so refreshing to those guys who blow smoke! After I took possession of the vehicle, we noticed a small scratch from transport. I let them know, and they said bring it back in, we'll make it right! No harassment, no balking at fault (although it was pretty obvious from where it was located).I would highly recommend them, and be sure to ask for Brandon Jones for a laid back/not pushy, very friendly/not fake, knowledgeable sales person.

This was my first time purchasing a Honda. The sales people and management were extremely helpful in answering all my questions and making sure I knew all about the vehicle I was wanting. I drove away with a nearly new Honda Odyssey van and cant be happier. I felt like I was treated fair and came away with a good deal. I would not hesitate to go back to Columbia Honda for my future needs.

I have leased Hondas for several years. Michele Benjamin is my "go to" salesperson. She is very pleasant to work with and very helpful in making decisions and helping my transition to the new car. I also took my car back for window tinting and a protective sealant called Perma Plate. The service department was very accommodating. I highly recommend COLUMBIA HONDA!

First time buying Honda, have made prior new car purchases from Ford or GM dealer. Columbia Honda and salesman Brandon Jones made this one of my best new car buying experiences. I will recommend to others. Thanks Again!

I took my CRV to Columbia Honda today for maintenance/overall check up. I knew that quite a bit of service was overdue, and I had the fear that the service center might take that as an opportunity to take advantage of me and claim I needed even more work. I was pleasantly surprised when Thomas called to talk through the service needs, carefully giving me costs and telling me what was absolutely necessary, what could wait, and what did not need to be done that I thought might be. Not only did Thomas explain everything to me and why each thing was needed/what effect it has on my car, when I got the call that my car was ready I was notified that he put a 10% discount on my invoice. By this time, Thomas had already left so I couldn't thank him personally, and I have no idea why he gave me the discount. Considering the amount of work I had done the fact that he saved me that extra 10% really meant a lot. Everyone I came in contact with while at Columbia Honda from Thomas and the other service advisers to the cashier and even the parts person that I had a few questions for were FANTASTIC and extremely helpful. I had been taking my car to another service shop for awhile, but I think I will be loyal to Columbia Honda service department for the foreseeable future!

I bought a pre-owned car for $12.500. Later, found out that rear tires are almost out (4 and 5/32). They put some gel on all tires so that the tires look like new, be aware !!! don't let that fool you. I tried to tell them that those tires need to be replaced but they said that the tires are ok, the car passed safety inspection and refused to replace at their own cost. My old car sold for 1200 also passed safety inspection. The car has their brand name on it but seems that they don't have any credibility to care about. I wouldn't expect to replace the tires after buying a car with $12.500. I admit that I was fool because I bought the car as-is so it's impossible to ask them to do anything after the purchase. I am just disappointed because they don't care about the quality of their products.----------------------"The Tire Rack's advice is that if rain and wet roads are a concern, you should consider replacing your tires when they reach approximately 4/32" of remaining tread depth. Since water can't be compressed, you need enough tread depth to allow the rain to escape through the tire's grooves."

Buying my first new car was a perfect experience. Everyone was patient and knowledgeable and kind. I cannot thank everyone enough at Columbia Honda for their help and, by the way, getting me a perfect car. I bought a 2015 Honda Civic and I am loving every minute of it. Called months ago to set up recall work for a Honda Pilot. After no call back for several months we followed up to confirm if the parts were in that were ordered 2-3 months ago. We were told the parts were available and scheduled a date for the recall work to be performed. Our family rearranged our schedule and dropped the Pilot off. After being told it would be approximately an hour for the work to be done we left and waited for the call back. After waiting for over an hour we received a call back that we could pick up the Pilot. On arriving at the service center we were told that the parts were not in as we were told and that they never physically checked their inventory when initially setting up the recall work. Instead they relied on their inventory noted on their computer which they also knew was unreliable due to a recent change in owners for this dealership. For wasting our time the service center was not very sincerely apologetic and seemed more apathetic. The service employees did indicate that they would attempt to locate the parts for the recall notice and place us at the front of the line. However by the time this was offered they had already indicated that this happens sometimes and were excusing their lapse of judgment in verifying the parts were available even though they knew there was an issue with their inventory. The attempt to deflect ownership in their mistake rather than take complete responsibility is what prompted me to write this review.
