Our buying experience was good. Korey was very helpful. Brandun was professional. However, our edge only had one key. It has been over 12 years since we purchased a "new" car and we did not realize that would be a problem. We assumed we could get another one made easily. Not so easy. After a couple of weeks and "homework" on how to obtain an extra key, we felt that the dealership should have supplied one. After talking with Jim Collins and Matt Younger, they agreed to supply us with an extra key free of charge.. This was much appreciated. Little details do matter. Special thanks to Matt Younger and Jim Collins for your understanding.

We went to Columbine Ford to look at trucks. As we were checking out a Chevy we liked we were greeted by Stan Kutnicki. He was very friendly and personable but did not try to pressure us to buy a Ford even though he was a Ford man. After we test drove the Chevy we liked, we went in to talk and start the paperwork. The entire experience was very smooth and we were comfortable with the deal we were getting. When the paperwork was ready to sign we worked with Jake Bowen. Jake had all of the contracts prepared and as he went through the paperwork he talked about the extended warranty plan that had already been built into the contract. This added $3000 to the price of the vehicle. Although we really didn't want the extended warranty we had already been at the dealership for a couple hours and it was past their closing time so we reluctantly signed the papers and accepted the deal. The next morning we called Stan and let him know we were not happy with the additional cost for the extended warranty and felt like we had been pressured into accepting it because it had been built into the contract without asking us up front whether we wanted it. We told him that it felt like it was assumed that we'd automatically agree to it and that didn't sit right with us. The next day Stan called and asked if we could come back in and meet with Jake again. We went back to Columbine and after talking to Jake about why we were not happy with the deal, he revised the contract removing the extended warranty. This brought the cost of the vehicle back to what we expected it to be and dropped our monthly payment by $50.Although we appreciate that Jake made it right by taking off the extended warranty, we also understand that this type of sales practice is a subtle yet commonplace high-pressure tactic that adds to the cost of the vehicle unnecessarily. Overall we were very happy with the service that the dealership provided to us. Both Stan and Jake were concerned about our dissatisfaction with the contract and wanted to make things right. If/when we buy another vehicle, we'll go see Stan at Columbine again.

I have known Korey for a few years now and was excited to get the chance to work with a long time friend- Unfortunately, Korey was out of town at the time but luckily got the chance to work with Bryce Benson!! I purchased a 2016 Red WRX from Bryce and could not be happier with my vehicle! The process was extremely smooth and finely handed with every single person involved in the transaction between testing the vehicle to signing papers with the finance department! Just bought our second Ford from Columbine Ford! Two years ago we bought an Expedition from Jeremy Salazar at Columbine. He listens, truly listens to what you need and finds the car. Today (Oct 10, 2016) He did it again! He found the F350 I needed. I also worked with Josh Bowen, who was very patient and helped make the deal work, Tina Bowlan in Finance who exceeded my expectations in finalizing the deal and Ravi Dukes talked to me as well. All these people went above and beyond to get me what I needed. Also want to say Thanks to Aaron Cook in Service, who was very helpful and patient with my many questions. This deal was done very quickly even though we used a trade-in and also received financing through Columbine Ford. I especially appreciated Jeremy's personable approach when he demonstrated the agility and responsiveness of the Ford F-150. The truck is a dream to drive and perfect for towing our new travel trailer. Jeremy even responded to a text question from me when he was in the midst of a family emergency. Stopped by to see what inventory was in stock. Josh was very helpful in showing us the Ford F150 trucks they had and allowed us to take as much time as we wanted looking at the vehicles. Loved that the trucks were all unlocked and open so you could see inside each one and sit in the vehicles. The entire process was a very pleasant, low key, no pressure experience. Tina in Finance did a great job of getting all of the financing completed and explained everything in detail so we knew what all the paperwork was.

I found the used Jeep Cherokee I wanted at Columbine Ford in Rifle, Co. I live in Hot Springs, SD. Mike Troglia contacted me to discuss the car. I asked him about door dings, scratches, etc.. He said he would check, and send me pics. No pics to send he said, and he was right. The car is spotless. I asked him to drive it, test AC, Heat, Cruise, etc... He did, said they worked and it ran well, Compared to other dealers they were very fair on price for what I received. Tina in finance was great to work with as well. Pretty seamless. I have never bought a car over the internet or without driving it, however these folks gave me the confidence to do so. I also used UShip to get the car from Rifle to Hot Springs, that was a first for me as well, and was also a positive experience. While I have not driven my new car much yet, it is everything they said it was. I would recommend this group highly. Give Mike and Tina a raise Mr. Boss Man!! A+++

I didn't get his name but the first guy I saw was the one who moves the cars around, and he was very helpful. I had looked online and wanted to see a particular car so he led me straight to it. On November 7th, 2014 I took my 2001 F250 V10 to Columbine Ford in Rifle CO to have the following repairs, fuel filter and spark plugs changed. I live in Frisco, Co and we have a dealership in Silverthorne, Co. 5 minutes from my house, however I have chosen to use Columbine Ford 2 hours away as they have been so good to my wife and I. We bought a brand new F350 from them in 2002 and have had many service visits ever since, and had planned on purchasing a new truck from them soon. On July 19, 2016 my 2001 F250 broke down in Durango, CO due to a spark plug that had completely been blown out of the cylinder head and the coil had been damaged. I immediately stopped the vehicle and had a friend that I was visiting tow me back to his house. I called Columbine Ford in Rifle CO. Aaron Cook the Service Advisor who I have worked with for many years stated that I have a two-year unlimited mileage warranty on the services that they performed on November 7th 2014 and that Columbine Ford would fully cover the warranty work if I had the truck at their shop and most likely any dealer would cover the warranty work. Unfortunately, the truck didnt break down in Rifle, CO! What is the difference of having the warranty work done at Columbine service dept. or having them pay the Durango Motor Co for the warranty work? There by taking care of a loyal customer of 14 years on a service that was not properly completed by Columbine. I called Durango Motor Co and told them my situation and they said the next available appointment would be July 20th, I made the appointment. I had my truck towed to the ford dealership that morning and they had it all day to work on. July 21st I went to pick up the vehicle first thing in the morning and Charlie Ryznar with Durango Motor Co stated that I had to pay for the service due to faulty workmanship from Columbine service department. Charlie stated that the spark plug was cross threaded when installed and that there was only 2MM of thread holding spark plug in place and I would have to get reimbursed by Columbine Ford. I had to pay the $409.31 or they would not release my vehicle to me. I immediately called Aaron with Columbine Ford and he stated that he would have to discuss this with his service manager Paul Edwards. I even told Aaron that I would be willing to meet them part way and accept a service credit instead of a check for $409.31. I called Aaron back on July 25th and he stated that they could not do anything except for a free oil change. I am extremely disappointed with Columbine Ford and would have never thought I would be treated this way. This is unacceptable and terrible customer service. The bottom line is this is a warranty issue and I was told it would be paid for. Otherwise I would have opted to purchase the $60 do it yourself cylinder head repair kit and fixed the problem myself. At this point I want to be reimbursed for the full amount of $409.31 by check. As of August, Paul Edwards has stated "Columbine Ford is NOT going to assist you with this matter in any way"

Drove a 2016 Kia Soul that I had seen on their website. It was a "manager's special" no-haggle price, which makes it easy; take it or leave it. The Kia was fairly priced and it was a high quality vehicle with low miles. The salesman, Josh, was very pleasant and relaxed. No shinanigans. No tall tails about who owned the car before. They were quite reasonable with my trade-in. Excluding my test drive (I drove the Kia for a while), I was in and out with my new car in about an hour. Very relaxed, unhassled transaction.

we recently purchased a 30 ft. camp trailer and only had a 1/2 ton 4x4 pickup to pull it around and was thinking about buying a bigger truck, so we were on vacation and was in the area of columbine ford in Rifle Colorado and my wife was hoping to meet Todd Helton the famous baseball player. so we pulled into columbine ford and a sale man approaches us and I told him used truck but maybe new. My wife was due to have surgery and I wasn't sure if we could purchase the truck and have all the add on's done and pick the truck up before her surgery. I ordered a Transit passenger E-150 with specific options; for a wheelchair conversion What they ordered was a cargo van with only half the equipment as specified per my original order 16 Dec 15. When the Van came in April 16 they promised to install the three missing windows if I took the van, I paid cash and spent the next 3 months and over 28 phone calls and 3 trips ( 150 mi round trip ) trying to get some satisfaction. The out come was I had to buy the windows and have them installed myself at my own time and cost. At this time the van is "For Sale" with 136 miles on it ! Columbine Ford is VERY good at LIEING, CHEATING, AND HIGH PRESSURE SALES.

I searched online for an F-350 King Ranch that had what I wanted at a good price. It came down to Columbine or a dealership in Vernon, Texas. Because Ravi was easy to work with and the distance was less I chose to buy from Columbine. Although I had not completely made up my mind to buy the truck until I saw it in person, the choice was simple because the truck looked good and they made the buying process really simple. Ravi was great on the front end of the deal but I was dreading doing the financing part of it in the back room. Fortunately Tina made that part almost ridiculously easy too. Only one suggestion I can make is to get more of your sales folks up to speed on the various options offered on the F-350. I was not aware that the F-450 front end was offered on the F-350 and would have purchased that option if it had been available.

I purchased a truck in 2014 from another dealership. While getting its second engine replaced, after the 4th week of renting a car, I decided just to buy a fairly inexpensive ten to $15,000 range little vehicle. I ended up purchasing a Ford certified pre-owned Ford Focus 20514. The dealership, full well knowing that I was looking for someone that I could buy a new truck from Once I paid this lemon, piece of junk off enough to be able to sell it comma as I owed 12000 and it only was valued at 3500 to 4500 due to all of its issues. They still, failed to tell me that the 2014 Ford Focus had a recall on it and was involved in a class action lawsuit. Within one week of purchasing it, I began to notice that it would shudder when changing gears. I also noticed that at times when it did this, it would lose power and I would be unable to accelerate for example when merging onto I-25. At times, it would shut her so bad it felt like it was on a washboard Road. I notified my salesman who did not respond. After another couple weeks and being unable to get any dealerships on the Front Range to contact me about fixing this problem, I Googled my symptoms and learned that this was a recall on my vehicle. I contacted my salesman again, who told me to bring it back, six hours away so that they could fix it. After $700 and hotels and rental car I picked my car up taking out two weekends of my time to go there and back and instead of fixing the recall which was what we verbally agreed to do when I dropped it off, they decided to quote change the programming on quote. Within 45 minutes, I nearly got in an accident as I tried to turn right onto Patterson Avenue in Grand Junction Colorado and it began to shudder and lost power and would not accelerate with oncoming traffic. I contacted the dealership in mediately spoke to the service person, spoke to Steve, actually left him a voicemail who was apparently the manager for the day and sent the general manager an email. I requested on more than one occasion to be able to return my car and trade it for something that was reliable. I am not even out of temporary tags yet. I purchase the car less than 60 days ago. Luckily, I have learned that there is a class action lawsuit regarding these Transmissions. I am hoping that at least in this case I can get some legal assistance helping to resolve this issue.

He always updated me on the vehicle status, paper work and never hesitated to answer my calls... and there were lots of them. Buying a car sucks. The whole process is a pain and antiquated. I was able to negotiate via email, without any undue hassle or additional pressure. They gave me the best price out of 6 other dealers for my trade. I live 1.5hrs from them. After purchasing, they coordinated a pick up and drop off for me that saved me at least 3 hrs of driving. They know their trucks too! Its nice to finally have a dealer close by (not in Denver) that I would look forward doing business with again.

We live about an hour away from Rifle and happened to be in town looking at a Craigslist add for a truck which turned out to be overpriced and in need of tires and a windshield .We went to Columbine Ford to see if by chance they had a full size crew cab truck in our modest $5000 price range. As it happened they had just taken a trade-in earlier that day that was just perfect. It far exceeded our needs and was in excellent shape. Better yet they made us a great deal that was within our budget!! They even replaced the windshield and brakes without raising the price. They treated us like we we there spending $60,000 on a new f-250. They even payed a company of our choice in our local city to detail the truck so we didn't have to wait at the dealership while their shop did it. From now on we will be driving an hour to Columbine Ford for all our auto sales and service needs even though there is a larger Ford dealer 10 minutes from our house. Thanks so much Tim, Steve, Jose and Stan for the best dealer experience in our life.

I was looking for a new 2016 or 2015 new or Certified F150 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4.. My goals of finding what I really wanted were fading . I finally spotted a used 2012 that looked really good and suited almost what I was looking for.I talked to Jake Bowen about this truck, and told me a little about how the previous owner cared for her. I was sold. I just retired and am anticipating a few more long road trips. Not sure what I can say except you do not buy a pair of F 150's, an F 350, a Jeep and a Mustang from the same folks unless your getting quality treatment. Never again will I buy in the big city, small town dealers are the only place buy. The bosses, Jimmy and Tim always get it done with the right vehicle at the right price. The boy's in sales Josh and Stan get it put together and into finance at the drop of a hat. John in finance will get you in and out with a good rate and only 347 places to sign the papers (maybe not quite that many). Service department is quick and painless. If your not buying here, your buying at the wrong place.

As someone with less than stellar credit, I want having much success at replacing my recently totaled vehicle. Jeremy went above and beyond to find me the vehicle that I was looking for, he in fact found several cars that fit my requirements.The finance department worked very hard to get me great rates and were so easy to work with, definately different from other dealers Iv purchased from in the past.I live a couple hours away from Rifle and didn't want to leave my new car behind, so Jeremy arranged for the vehicle I had driven to the lot to be delivered to my house the next day. I had discussed with Jeremy that I was buying a vehicle because of car troubles and he offered to set me up in a rental while I waited for my Xterras to arrive. I Looked on Truecar.com to get a dealer and the car I wanted they matched the price and gave me excellent service. It was not the car I originally Picked on true car but an up graded model. It was far more then I expected. The car preforms as I was told it would and has great power. Bryce showed me all the workings of the on board touch system and hidden features, that with out his help I would not of known. It was a crash course but he was patent and kind the whole time. I would highly recommend this dealership, their employees are all friendly, and very knowledgeable. I asked for assistance in finding a pet divider for the car and the parts person knew what I wanted and ordered it for me when it came in they reduced the price on it because it was requested the day of the perches.

We initially purchased a used Toyota Tundra from Columbine Ford. The next day, we realized upon further inspection, that this was not the vehicle for us. We discovered that a Colorado law for returning used vehicles within a 72 hour window does not exist. We contacted a lawyer to see if we could retain him to help us get out of the contract. He said there was no need for a lawyer as this dealership had a good reputation, and to just call them and explain what happened and they would probably be reasonable. We were very nervous when we called to request a refund. We expected to hear something like, sorry, its a sealed deal. Instead, to our immense relief, without any resistance at all, they simply said we will gladly take it back without one hassle, no questions asked. They said we will refund 100% of your money, or you can purchase something else, your choice. We ended up getting a great deal on a practically brand new Ford F- 150 with only 12K miles. If we had purchased private party, we would have been had. The staff was very friendly, and we would recommend Columbine Ford to everyone.

I needed a new service van for my business and I called around to area dealers. They had several in there inventory. I requested their best price and was quoted a fair number within minutes. We made the deal over the phone, with Steve Blattel. I told him when I would be there to sign the papers, I was running late and he waited for my arrival. Everything was in order and I was out of there is less then a half hour. As a bonus, I got rewarded by dealing with Tina in the finance department who got me even more rebates. She's a great addition to the Columbine Team. When we picked the van up, it was ready to go. My employee noticed a small problem with the van on his way to Montrose. I called Tim (Sales Manager) and he had someone pick the van the next day-take it back to Rifle, (2hrs one way), fix it and return it the next day to Montrose. Great Service behind the sale. Over a week I have had a couple of things go bad on the pickup and has made me a little upset because I haven't been able to drive it much. Dealing with Columbine Ford made buying a car a pleasurable experience. I had called ahead and was met at the door by Brad Wilkins. Within a few minutes we were test driving one of two 2016 Explorers. Brad let us run up to the Rifle Gap reservoir and back. We then changed suv's and were off again. Since my wife has owned an Explorer for 15 years, we had made our decision by the time we got back to the very nice new dealership. We had come in with our own Credit Union financingso all documentation was taken care of while they were washing and fueling our new SUV.We were in and out with our new Explorer in about 2 hours. He was very nice and we set up an appointment for the next day and he told me I was welcome to bring my dogs with me. We were "ballpark" quoted that our payments would be in the 300's but when all was said and done payments ended up in the 400's. Friendly staff, very helpful. Love my new car!

I was looking for a 2015 F150 and I've looked all over the western slope of Colorado, Columbine Ford had the best prices hands down. I worked with Brad Wilkins. He was VERY helpful and VERY knowledgeable. A little thing I like to do when purchasing a vehicle is the test to salesmen's knowledge. I already knew all the information down to every little speck of the vehicle, Brad knew it all as well. I don't like dealing with a salesman that doesn't know what there're talking about and just spit out numbers. So this wasn't the case with Brad. He had earned my trust. We did everything over the phone, primarily through text messaging because signal is bad were I live just outside of Delta Colorado. Once we found numbers we both agreed on, Brad delivered the vehicle from Rifle Colorado to Delta Colorado for no extra charge. Overall I would describe the whole process as: nonstressful, enjoyable, easy, fast, and even fun. Columbine Ford in Rifle Colorado and Brad Wilkins have both earned my business now and in the future and my trust. I would recommend everyone to Columbine Ford.

This was the first car I've ever purchased from a dealership. I live in Rio Rancho, NM but am from the Rifle area. I found my 2012 Honda CRV on True Car. Contacted the dealer, where Mr Jake Bowen called me. I sent my mother to test drive and Jake was courteous, and not at all pushy. He was very respectful to both of us. Brad Wilkins the finance guy was amazing at getting me all my paperwork when I decided to buy. I came up the following week to pick up the car and it was just as wonderful as advertised and the pricing was perfect. Way cheaper than anything in Albuquerque. They made the buying from out of state a smooth process. When I got the car, it had a glitch with the air conditioner fuse, they thought they fixed it and sent me on the way, turns out it was the wrong fuse, I went back to the dealer, and even though I was upset and it was 10 mts to 6 (closing time), owner Jimmy Braslin and Jake stayed with me while they fixed the car and offered solutions. Turns out they had the right fuse, got it taken care of and sent me on the way. THey are truly a wonderful group of guys there! I went to go get my license plates a few days ago and usually that's a hassle with vin inspections and titles and paperwork, etc, Got a call from the MVD in Rio Rancho telling me that the dealership had taken care of EVERYTHING and that it was the most organized transaction they'd ever had. All I had to do was go pick up my plate. So thank you again Columbine Ford! You are truly wonderful, I will buy my next car from you and I will proudly display your logo on my vehicle and refer you to anyone in New Mexico!

We were searching for a used vehicle for several months and came across a Nissan Armada at Columbine Ford in Rifle, CO. Since we lived in New Mexico, it was difficult to make the 8-hour trip to the dealership to test drive the vehicle. Stan Kutnicki, our salesman took the car for a 6-mile test drive, checking out the 4WD, all of the options, and reported back to us the shape and performance of the vehicle. He was very honest and forthcoming with his assessment which convinced us that we were purchasing a quality vehicle and should make the trip to Colorado. Our trip took us to Grand Junction, CO, where Stan was willing to meet us with the vehicle to test drive and purchase. He saved us an extra hour down the road to Rifle, CO and tons of time that we could not afford to spend. We found the vehicle on-line through the internet on Wednesday and drove it home from Colorado on Friday, all paperwork in order and the vehicle exactly as describe. It is scary buying a vehicle long-distance, but Stan Kutnicki at Columbine Ford made our decision and our trip easy. We are very happy with our Nissan Armada.

After researching online and finding the 5 cars I wanted to test drive I noticed that 4 of them were located at Columbine Ford. I called in a spoke with Jeremy Salazar in sales and was amazed by his knowledge of the cars and no hard sales lines. We set up a apointment and when I arrived the parking lot was full and the place was hopping with happy people. I found Jeremy and he had my first choice ready,clean and with the car cooled off. Even though he had several other customers he treated me like I was the only one in the place. I drove all 4 cars on my list spent time going over the cars and there differences and after a 2 hours from start to finish I was sitting in the drivers seat getting my phone connected setting my clock and getting my Sirius radio ready. Jose Gomez is a courteous man who listens carefully and works hard to get you in a car that suits your needs and your wallet. He is there to answer questions and gives you all the space needed when it comes to decision time. This is the second used car we bought at Columbine Ford and both experieces were absolutely perfect each time, and that includes the loan process. On Saturday, 08/15/15, I made the 7.5 hour drive from NE NM to Columbine Ford to pick up my vehicle sight unseen. I had been dealing with Jake Bowen since Thursday. Throughout that time I was continually updated with the status of the vehicle and the paper work he needed to finalize the transaction.About two (2) hours out I received a call from Jake saying he needed some information so he could have the paperwork completed, the vehicle furled up, and detailed, prior to my arrival so we could return the same day back to NM. When we arrived we were greeted by another employee who asked if we "were the guys from New Mexico". We told him we were and he advised us Jake was tied up with another customer and offered us something to drink.Shortly thereafter I met with Jake and completed some final paperwork before it was forwarded to the finance people for the final draft. While we waited Jake took us out to the vehicle and showed us the vehicle and its features. The finance representative, Brad Wilkins, came out and contacted us at which time we completed the final paperwork.Upon completing the final paperwork we were again met by Jake who walked us out to the vehicle and again made sure everything was satisfactory which it was. We were then on the road again in about 2 hours from the time we arrived.I have bought 6 vehicles from 3 different dealerships and this by far was easiest and smoothest of them all. From the sales personnel, Jake Bowen, to the finance people, Brad Wilkins, this was by far the most no pressure dealing I have been involved in.If you are in the market for a vehicle I highly recommend you make the drive to Columbine Ford. This dealership definitely sets the bar for what a dealership should be great vehicles, great prices, and great employees. If you're in the market for a vehicle and you want a great deal and to be treated right ask for Jake Bowen.

My Ford F150 broke down along I-70. I felt helpless. I called Columbine Ford and the first service advisor seemed a bit put out with my call and told me they were too busy to look at it and gave me numbers of other service shops. I tried those only to find they were busy as well. I called Columbine Ford a second time and got a hold of Aaron who was genuinely concerned and very helpful. The service shop would be closing in a half hour but he asked the service tech to stay LATE to look at my truck. They also gave me a loaner vehicle so we could go get a hotel room, and they gave us the scoop on all the restaurants in town. I received a call later that evening from Aaron explaining my truck issues. They got to the repairs finished first thing the next morning and had me on my way by 8:30! All I can say is that Aaron was awesome and his kindness and caring attitude struck me. Thanks for a job well done!!!

My Ford F350 experienced a major mechanical problem, such that the vehicle was stranded along Interstate 70 near Rifle. It was a very stressful time for my wife and myself as our home was a 6 hour drive from Rifle. After having the vehicle towed to Columbine Ford, we dealt with "Heather" in the service department. She was absolutely wonderful, giving us the confidence that our truck was in good hands. Many of our interactions were on the telephone with Heather and she had a way of putting us at ease. "Dusty" actually worked on the vehicle (broken axle and destroyed rear hub). He demonstrated to me that he knew what to do to effect a major repair. Over the 2 week period when the parts were arriving, we knew what was going on regarding the time table for the repair. (Columbine Ford provided us with a loaner car, so we were able to return to our home while the truck was being repaired.) The actual cost came in below the initial estimate. We would highly recommend the service department at Columbine Ford to anyone. BTW, Heather, in particular, should be given a big raise or a generous bonus. She is a real asset to Columbine Ford.

I can not say enough about Columbine Ford, Jake Bowen, and the others that assisted us in the purchase of our NEW 2015 Ford Edge. They went above and beyond. This purchase was very special to us, due to life circumstances. The first Edge we purchased the end of April, had problems within two weeks. I called Jake up to tell him what was going on, Jake went to the higher up, and within the same day we had calls back. Tim said there was no way we would experience a psychological night mare, and told me to bring it back in and they would give us a loaner vehicle, until they could find a replacement. When issues started, I thought we would have a fight on our hands. Boy was I wrong, I did not even have to suggest a replacement the team at Columbine took care of it, no argument. Not finding anything I wanted locally I went on Columbine Ford's web site and found what I had been looking for. Chatted on line with Ravi Dukes who answered most of my questions. Made an appointment and drove to Rifle the next morning to see the truck. Ravi wasn't available so we dealt with Stan Kutnicki. He was great to work with. My wife and I felt no pressure during the whole transaction and drove the truck home that afternoon. Curtis took care of financing with a better interest rate than I found locally. We drove 90 miles to Columbine Ford and they beat our local prices by $3000. After searching on the internet and visiting our local dealerships, we met Jose Gomez, a non-pushy sales representative and he offered us a no haggle price on a new 2014 Ford F150. We will not waste our time searching on the internet or talking to the locals the next time we need a new or used vehicle; we will simply call Jose. Jose was knowledgeable, polite, professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. We will only deal with him for future purchases. The process in buying our new pickup was quick and easy, their staff was professional and it was well worth the 3 hour roundtrip drive. Jose and Jimmy both lied about the condition of the low mileage used F250 pickup. I was told the pickup was in perfect condition, no oil leaks, no dents, not even a scratch. We agreed on the price and they drove the truck 300 miles and I took the bus 300 miles to pick up the truck. When I walked up to the truck, I saw a dent in the rear bumper and on closer inspection it not only was dented but appeared to be twisted. While I was waiting for Jimmy to decide what he wanted to do, I started looking the truck over. By the time Jimmy called back I had discovered a twisted running board and HAIL DAMAGE on the hood and roof of this perfect condition, 11,000 mile truck. While their drivers drove the truck back to Colorado, I rode the bus back home.( All the way thanking my lucky stars I hadn't sent Jimmy any money the day before as he requested)I hope these two knuckleheads are the black sheep of this dealership and that no one else ever has to deal with them.Columbine Ford - Colorado Dealership of the Year - WHAT A JOKE!

I drove all the way from Grand Junction to Rifle because of the reputation I had heard Columbine Ford had. I bought a new 2014 Ford Super Duty Diesel and have been having problems with the engine shaking. The Dealership here in Grand Junction told me they hadn't heard of the problem before, and I would have to pick up a mechanic and drive him around till the problem showed up. (LOL) I have a corporation to run. On the positive side, I met Paul Edwards (Service Director) at Columbine, and he actually helped me with the problem, not solved yet but he gave me good information, talked honest and straight forward to me and made me feel like a Ford customer should, and not a number. I have to say everyone at that dealership was nice, full of smiles and very kind. I have purchased a new 2013, 2014, truck and needless to say will be purchasing a new 2015, and yes from Columbine!! I can not thank our sales person Brad Wilkins for taking care of our service issue on our 2012 Expedition! He set up the appointment with Columbine's Service Dept. and they had an answer for me in 1/2 a day, the problem was covered under warranty and was a known issue with a bulletin for the repair! I was able to have my vehicle back the next day! It had been at another local dealership for two weeks and they refused to really look into what was wrong with it. I just bought a Ford Fusion with eco-boost (the color is Bordeaux Reserve, how cool is that?) from Columbine Ford for an incredibly reasonable price, and it drives like a dream and gets better gas mileage than any car I have ever owned. I absolutely love it, and my experience couldn't have been easier or more pleasant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I live on the Front Range and was not available to speak personally with the sales people, so they worked with me via email and phone calls, and even got me a better interest rate than my bank offered me. This was my first time buying a vehicle on my own; and I wish my experience would have been a bit better. I ended up having to pay for NEW tires on my NEW 2015 vehicle. I was unable to get Columbine Ford to meet me in the middle or help out even a bit. My Salesman Mike Edwards was phenomenal and I greatly appreciate all the help I received from him. Ravi was my sales person. I came in, let him know my credit situation.. gave him the run down on what i was needing and he showed me a few options that i had to work with within my range. My credit is not very good so before even walking into Columbine Ford, I emailed back and forth with Jeremy Salazar. He said I was approved for a loan and to come in when I could. First they picked me up at my house since I had no transportation which was awesome. At first, I was weary of the salesman who helped us. He was wearing a female vest, a 30 gallon cowboy hat and his feet were at 45 degree angles from each other. I realized right away that he used a teeth whitener, as the only thing whiter at the dealership was the ford escape he was trying to sell to me. He kept taking off his hat and I thought at first he was trying to show off his Just For Men mustard highlites. In addition, he was wearing the same sweater vest my fiance was wearing...same size, too. Brandun was a true salesman, however, he asked all the right questions and had me in a sweet sweet ride within minutes. He understood my credit situation and was very easy to work with. I arrived at the lot and Josh greeted me right away. I told him my situation and what I was looking for and he led me to the F-150's (which is what I was looking for) and showed me the different packages. I was trading in a 2010 F-150 so for the most part I knew what I was looking for. Josh answered the few questions I did have, let me drive one I was interested in and then let me browse the other packages. There was never any pressure to buy and he let me look at my own pace. I came back a couple days later once I had decided on the truck (and had done some looking else where) and Josh was great to deal with on the sale. I would do it all over again tomorrow and would defiantly recommend anyone do business with Josh.

I was quoted $1300 to fix my heater. I told them I needed to think about it. I went home that night to research the issues that they found. I was told that 2 components had failed. I found a walk through on YouTube so decided to attempt the repair myself before spending the big money. Much to my surprise, there was only 1 defective piece and it only took me 1.5 hours to repair. I am very inexperienced working on vehicles and spent $25 dollars on tools and $25 on the part. I fully understand that they have a markup, but even if they charge $100 an hour and 100% markup! this repair should have been quoted around $300. This was my only experience with this dealership, but I don't see myself returning. I was contemplating trading in and purchasing a new vehicle, but I will not give this dealership the opportunity. There is plenty of competition around. Everybody I spoke with on the phone and in person was great. I just feel they saw me coming from a mile away and tried to take advantage of a customer.

My wife and I narrowed our choice down to a Nissan Xterra and we really wanted a stick shift, which is hard to find. An online search showed that there was a "pre-owned" one at Columbine Ford in Rifle, CO . That's about 1000 miles away from our home in Spokane. I'm skeptical of car dealers and was very hesitant about buying a car sight-unseen in another state, but Dustin Wood kept in constant contact with me while I made my decision, doing his best to describe the vehicle and answer my questions by phone and email. Columbine Ford also provided a free Carfax report online, which made a big difference in my decision. I took the risk and bought the car before I'd seen it. I flew to Denver on a Friday and staff from the dealership drove four hours to deliver the vehicle to me at the airport. I can't say how happy I was to find no surprises at all. The vehicle was exactly as described (and very nicely detailed by the dealership). Honestly, it all seemed too easy, except perhaps for the drive back to Spokane. A thousand miles through three snowstorms and a windstorm bad enough to blow a semi over in front of me. The truck performed like a champ.I'll always be skeptical of car dealers, but these guys did such a great job that shopping there in the future is not out of the question, even though we live 1000 miles away.

These guys (and ladies) know the meaning of Excellent Customer Service. I do exhaustive research prior to buying a new or used vehicle, and I can honestly say, Columbine prices very aggressively. Selection is good, especially for trucks. My most recent purchase was a used 2014 Edge, for my wife, and I am confident I received a fair price. Like any dealership, at closing, they will show you a few things you may not want (extended warranty, GAP, etc.), but they do not "push" them on you. Buying a vehicle is often stressful. They are expensive. Payments are higher than we like. It's nice to work with a dealership that understands that, and helps you work through the process.

I did a lot of research to find the exact truck that I wanted, after months of looking I found the truck I wanted. I put in a inquiry about the truck and Josh Bowen was excellent in helping me from the start. While driving from Los Angeles to Aspen, i stopped in for a quick oil change / filter.Very friendly Quick stop service dept, got my in n out fast. nice experience.Next day i stopped back again to replace degas bottle cap and new degas bottle. again very fast and friendly people and I headed on my way back to Los Angeles, unfortunately i only made it 14 miles and my truck had serious problem, stopped dead on the side of the I70..with a failed IPR STC Fitting( 2005 F350 Diesel,/ with 125k miles )Columbine service people gave me the contact for local towing company ( Rifle Towing ) who arrived quickly and towed my truck and 18' trailer back to the dealership. Service dept quickly confirmed the fault code and thankfully had the right parts in stock.once diagnosed at around 2;30pm they told me the mechanic offered to work late an come in early as needed to get me back on the road as quick as possible.The next morning i got a call at 9am, my truck was ready to roll.14 hrs later i arrived back in Los Angeles and truck ran like a charm.This is the kind of dealership that makes me happy to be a 35 years an going Ford Truck owner.Thanks to everyone at Columbine Ford, Rifle, CO.

The first thing i noticed was all vehicles were unlocked allowing me to really look at a vehicle without the pressure from a car dealer. I could go and look at any vehicle on the lot on my own. Tiffany assisted me and finding out what I was looking for. We test drove multiple trucks before deciding on the one I wanted. Within the hour I had been approved signed papers and out the door! Everyone in the service department is very professional and nice. Even though they are very busy, they always take a moment to look up and say hello. Every time I arrive for service it is "outstanding". The friendly faces always look out for my interest, take the time to explain things and make sure I am happy and satisfied.This last visit, I came in with no appointment and needed 4 new tires. Anyway, when I arrived, they said it was no problem and they would fit me in. They called me sooner than expected to let me know the car was ready. I had a great experience with Columbine Ford. I live an hours drive from this dealership and they were very willing to work with me long distance, through email and personal calls. Jake was able to get me an appointment on my schedule to drive up and take the vehicle I was looking at for a test drive. He was very upfront with any issues the car may have, as the dealership had ordered a part to replace and it hadn't come in yet. He was very friendly and professional and willing to work with me the best I could. Curtis made sure that I got the very best financing options, as my credit isn't spectacular. He was able to get my payments below what I had set as my base payment that I could afford! As a young woman, I have had some less than great experiences with dealerships and salesmen at these dealerships. Here, I didn't feel high-pressured, or that they were going to take advantage of me! I have since recommended everyone that I know who may be searching for a car to this dealership, and even those who aren't currently looking! I was in the market for a newer vehicle and had tried a dealership in Grand Junction. There was no doubt I was getting the run around. I was told to give Columbine Ford a try-that they offer special finance to folks with 'less-than-stellar' credit. The salesman I contacted was Brandun. Right off the bat, I knew this was going to be a great experience. He has a warm and welcoming demeanor and a great sense of humor. I had one vehicle in mind and he worked at getting me into it rather than trying to steer me into something else (which the other dealership did). Unfortunately, while trying to secure financing on that vehicle, some else came in and bought it. Brandun continued to work between the bank and I to get me into another vehicle quickly and within the parameters I had given him. Though we weren't right on the mark-we came in a lot closer ( and more respectfully treated) than the other dealership did. Brandun worked for 2.5 days trying to get me what I wanted. He did it with a gracious attitude and did not treat me like my requests were out of line. I am the proud owner of a 2007 Toyota Camry and couldn't be more happy.I would also add that Columbine Ford had my 'new' vehicle brought to me, which wasn't just a wonderful gesture, to me-it went ABOVE & BEYOND what is normal for a dealership. Top of the line service, for sure!

I went to Columbine Ford with the hope of finding a used car. The car I was expecting to get would have had a huge number of miles and would have been 5 years old or so. What I was able to find and afford was only 1 year old and 18,000 miles. The price was still in my range so I feel like I really have a "new" car! Jake and Curtis were so friendly and knowledgeable. I made a short trip to Columbine Ford in Rifle CO from Grand Junction CO to possibly purchase a new Truck. I had earlier made contact with Jake Bowen about trucks. The day that I was going to go to Rifle, Jake told me it was his day off but to call him. The day that we went to Rifle I called Jake that we were almost in Rifle, he said he would come to the dealership and meet us. Shortly after we got there Jake found us looking in the new truck lot. We decided to drive two different trucks, the first being a dually. We then drove a similar truck with single wheels. I liked the dually very much, as it would fit with our plans to pull a large 5th wheel. As we talked back and forth we were not getting close to a deal. I was trading in a Ford Sport Trac and we couldn't come together on trade in price. I was ready to drive back to Grand Junction without making a purchase and Jake told me if I would give him time to talk to his boss and I said yes. Jake came back to me with a deal that was very satisfactory with me. I went ahead with the purchase of the 2014 Ford F350 Lariat King Ranch Diesel. From Jake and the fiance people were very quick in putting everything together to finish the deal and we went home with a new truck and very proud of the unit. I can't thank Jake enough as he took his day off to work with me in the new purchase. I was very pleased with Jake as the salesman in his very friendly attitude, his knowledge and making for a great experience at Columbine Ford. I will recommend Jake and Columbine Ford to all of my friends and acquaintance's.

Thesis:I have had a divorce that completely ruined my credit and I thought that I would never live like an American and be able to drive to my own destination. On a pure whim, I was rummaging through some internet sites and came across some good prices on vehicles that I would have liked to own. Dustin was an amazing person to work with!! He is honest, upfront and very caring about his work. From the time I walked onto the car lot to the time I drove off the lot, with my new Passat it was 3 1/2 hours!! There is not another dealership around that I know could do that. We had purchased a new vehicle from Columbine Ford in 2008, and it was a good experience, so we decided to give them another opportunity. I started my search on a Sunday using the Internet and filled out a vehicle request. Within a couple of hours, I received an e-mail from Cris letting me know that the dealership is closed on Sunday and somebody would be contacting me soon. (I had e-mailed a couple of other dealerships as well, but I never heard back from them) The next day, Stan called me by 9:30 a.m. and we started the process. Stan's follow through was great and after a couple of phone conversations and e-mails, Stan found us the vehicle that we wanted, and we basically bought it over the phone. We filled out the on-line pre-approval finance application and Stan had the car ready for us on a Saturday morning parked up front, ready for a test drive. It was everything that he said it would be. Done deal. All of the employees that we had contact with that morning were very friendly. We had a little issue with the paperwork, not noticing that our zip code was wrong, but I think that was due to the postal service changing it on us about three years ago. John had taken some time off the next day, but in his absence, Stan and Curtis Smith filled in and were extremely helpful, sending new paperwork overnight express. Overall, a great experience. It was very clear to us that everyone at the dealership appreciated our business. It was well worth the 100 mile round trip, and that means a lot considering the fact that we could have purchased from another dealer 3 miles from our house. P.S. I have 3 adult children that will be making their purchases with Stan at Columbine Ford. Columbine Ford's people and customer service are exceptional.

I cannot say enough good things about Columbine Ford. I live in Grand Junction, and I was in the market for a Toyota Tacoma. They were flying out of dealerships around here, and the only ones that were left we from sketchy dealers. One became available after a trade-in at Columbine Ford, and I called that day.Brad Wilkins was the first and last guy I talked to on the phone. He incredibly personable, not at all pushy, and really went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. I was in the market for a truck because my car was totaled in a wreck. I wasn't sure I'd be able to borrow my girlfriend's car to make it up to Rifle. Brad offered to drive me the 60-some miles to Rifle, no charge, and said if I didn't like the truck, he'd drive me back. Needless to say, I didn't need a return trip.Brad came and picked me up at my house, drove me to my girlfriend's car so I could grab some paperwork, and took me to Rifle.Brad let me look around at the truck. He wasn't a Toyota guy, and didn't blow smoke at me. He let me look and decide for myself, and when it came time to buy, he put me at ease through every part of the process.Curtis Smith, my finance guy, was personable and honest. He got me an awesome rate. We talked about his kids, he asked me about my work, and then walked me through the paperwork. I have a sordid love affair with my Tacoma, and the guys at Columbine Ford were absolutely awesome. They took care of me, and still call me to check in.Their service is top-notch, and they're not your typical pushy salespeople.It's worth the drive for the customer service alone. I'd recommend this place to my grandmother. Also, Todd Helton is a partial owner. That's pretty cool.

We were interested in leasing a Fusion or a Focus to replace our Ford Contour. Allan Cyr from the service department introduced us to Dustin Wood who was extremely helpful in helping us come to a decision. He gave us brochures and showed us examples of both cars. We did further research on-line and decided on a Fusion with the optional equipment we were interested in. We discussed our preferences with Dustin and settled on a package. Dustin checked to see if any dealers in the area had a car with the equipment we were interested in, but none were available. We then decided to order a car with the specific equipment we wanted. Dustin got the order placed and kept us informed as to the progress. We picked up the car yesterday and Dustin spent some time going over the use of the various features and said to call on him any time if we have any problems or need any more help with any of the features. All in all, it has been a very satisfying experience.

I needed a dependable vehicle to get me safely to and from Aspen. My father told me to see if I would qualify for a car loan with Auto Express. The first person to contact me was Blaine via e-mail and phone. My father, Randy Fricke, had been a car dealer in the Roaring Fork Valley for years and new Brandun Weeden very well. So we went to see Brandun and Brandun had cars picked out for me before I arrived (very prepared)! I liked one of them, but I didn't realize that since I had paid off my previous car loan, I didn't have any other credit sources. (My credit was "0")! So I was denied from my first choice. The people I have had the opportunity to interact with at Columbine Ford have redefined the entire "working with a dealer" experience for me. In every previous dealership experience that I have ever had, I always left with the vehicle I wanted, but with some serious issues with the people that helped me take ownership of that vehicle. Columbine Ford is a very different place than I've dealt with before and I hope that I can steer other potential buyers to take advantage of how they do things differently there. It started with my discovery of the online videos that Columbine Ford puts out, in which Josh Bowen would provide a very personal and interesting descriptive introduction to one of the very fun and capable vehicles for sale at Columbine. I was intrigued enough to visit the dealership, even though it is over a 5 hour drive for me, and there are 5 other Ford dealerships closer to me. My first visit was so comfortable and informative that, even though I wasn't ready to purchase a vehicle at that time, I was eagerly anticipating my next trip to Rifle, to visit the dealership. On the second trip to Columbine, the experience was again, so comfortable and so relaxed that when I found the truck I wanted, I decided that when I was ready to buy, that this dealership was going to get my business. It took longer than I wanted to but when the opportunity finally arrived I purchased my dream truck, over the phone, with no hassles and no difficulty. Since I requested a special vehicle, that wasn't currently on the lot, the entire group that I worked with, made an extraordinary effort to have the vehicle ready for me to pickup on our agreed upon delivery date. I won't go into details, but it took effort beyond anything I've ever seen from a dealership, (including ownership support all throughout the process), to make sure they would honor the commitment they made to me. The obstacles that came up during this process were not Columbine Ford's fault, but, even though they could have made excuses all along, they stepped up and delivered on time. Nothing like any other dealership that I've had to deal with. The entire Columbine Team is a throw back to the days when a hand shake was all you needed to make a deal. I am a lifelong customer, and I hope anyone who reads this will have the same opportunity to see how special this place is.

Vehicle was as advertised on the internet, there was no pressure to buy this or any other vehicle. In house financing was offered but not pushed over my own pre-approved arrangement. Paperwork was completed quickly and Josh and Curtis worked with my bank allowing the sale to be completed in one visit. Total time at dealership was less the 4 hours including two test drives.

I believe that GOD does for us in ways we cannot always understand and that I was lead to Columbine Ford. While I am scepticle of unsolicited ads, on 3/7/2014 one was presented to me that for some reason I did not ignore. My car was on her last leg and I wondered what I would do when an ad popped up on my tablet while at work and listening to music. It directed me to Columbine Ford. As I stated I am scepticle and believe this was just another ad to "come on in and buy a car" loaded with unreasonable offers to get me in the door and lots of pressure from an overbearing sales force only interested in making a sale and knowing little to nothing about customer service.I filed out the internet form and expected to receive a barrage of useless offers and information but that did not happen. I received an email response from Jeremy Salazar within 10 to 15 minutes with his personal information asking, not demanding that I call. I called the number and actually spoken to a person instead of a voice mail and thought OK...so far so good. After a few short conversations I had decided to take the 85 mile trip on Monday 3/10/2014, but later decided to just go for it that day. When I arrived Jeremy met me as I pulled up and was very polite, friendly and professional. During the process he kept me informed about what was going on; the dealership was concerned that I was waiting just a bit longer than I was advised that they offered me a free meal which was much appreciated. The original deal on the car I wanted was not the best fit for me, but the experts at Columbine Ford not only found the right car for me but at a price I am very happy with.When I left the dealership I felt I had been treated fairly, like a person not just a number and that my business was truly appreciated. Every member of the Columbine staff including the owner was courteous, approachable and easy to talk to and I felt absolutely no pressure at all during the process.I can say without equivocation that I will recommend Columbine Ford to my family and friends in need of a vehicle because of the way I was treated before, during and after the sale. From the moment we called the dealership with our questions and what we were looking for Josh went right to work looking for the loan within our requirements. Josh kept us informed every step of the way and let us know what worked for us based on the information and limitations we gave him. Yesterday I wrote a pretty harsh review, and, with more time to reflect, I was too harsh. Brad Wilkins was friendly, professional, and very helpful. He spent time after our sale walking me through all of the My Ford Touch features, and I truly appreciate his time. Curtis Smith was also helpful and friendly when it came time to talk about the financing of our new vehicle. Both of these men were pleasant and easy to work with, and I would like to apologize for my previous review. I let one negative piece of this experience override all of the positive aspects, and that is not okay. So, I'm sorry.My frustration is that after we drove off, we removed the paper on the floor that we assumed was there to keep the floor mats clean. We then found a large hole in the center of the driver's side mat. This would not have been a deal-breaker for us by any stretch, but it feels so dishonest that it has left me with a negative impression. A floor mat is no big deal. It's the fact that they hid it from us that bothers me. I worry that if they would be deceptive about something as inconsequential as a floor mat that they would also hide safety issues that people need to know about the vehicles they intend to purchase. Anyway, the dishonesty was disappointing, but, to his credit, Brad Wilkins quickly replaced our floor mat, and all is well. We love our new vehicle. Perhaps Brad Wilkins knew nothing of the hole in this floor mat. I don't know. What I do know is that at least one person at Columbine Ford knew about it because they cleaned the vehicle before we took it. They left the floor paper only on the driver's side. It was stupid of me not to look underneath it, but I've learned not to be so trusting. Good customer service dictates that the price of a floor mat is cheap compared to the bad publicity they risk by trying to hide it. While I am frustrated by this lack of honesty, I did not intend for my previous review to hurt feelings or to harm anyone's career. I sincerely hope that Brad Wilkins did not know about the hole in the floor mat, and I appreciate him for replacing it. I hope Columbine Ford, as a dealership, will work to uphold personal integrity. It does not feel good to be fooled, but it is also not fair for me to blame the wrong person. I don't know who is at fault, nor do I need to. I just hope this won't happen to other customers.

We have heard a lot of the radio spots here in Grand Junction, and so when my previous vehicle's timing belt pulley broke, we were in need of another vehicle. I went 3 hours from home to the dealership specifically to pickup a used 2001 Ford Excursion and while there they took a look at my current vehicle my family was driving and gave me an offer for trading it in. I had intended to trade it in back at home in Denver in a month or so and was trying to find the right new truck. Columbine Ford was very helpful in assiting my search for a new (used) vehicle. Dustin Wood communicated with me via email, phone and in person. He was able to have a small selection of vehicles that I was interested in. When I arrived (from out of town) he and the other employes were friendly and relaxed in their approach, which is settling. I look at a 2007 Jeep that I was interested in, Dustin was very knowledgable abot the vehicle inside and out. After a test ride, Dustin was able to put a deal together with the help of Cutis Smith and I was on my way home. All in less than 2 and half hours. Over all great dealership. I was referred to Dustin by a friend who also had a great experience working with him. I was looking for a Jeep Wrangler 4 door but wasn't in a huge hurry and was pretty specific in what I was looking for. Dustin was great about staying in touch with me and being patient through the process. Once I found the vehicle I wanted I was able to get in, get financed, and get out quickly without a lot of hassle. I would recommend Dustin to anyone who is thinking about making a move into a different used vehicle. I was treated with utmost respect and professionalism from our very first phonecall until I drove away after dark on New Year's Eve. He listened to me needs; took into consideration my restraints and concerns; and even walked me through the steps to look up my paystubs online and helped me research different insurance options. When I had found a car that would work for my daughter, we worked with John to find a funding source. The monthly payments were not what I was entirely comfortable with, so then I was led to a somewhat less expensive option that would meet my needs. Although 47 years old, I have not purchased a car through a dealership in over 20 years because I have had a company provided vehicle throughout my career. You can drive a little and save a lot. The inventory was outstanding. The staff know their products and can answer your questions. They don't push you to purchase something that does not meet your needs. The staff make you feel they want to be the number 1 Ford dealer in western Colorado. The owner sets the standard of wanting to serve his customers, give them what they want and is actively engaged in monitoring the operations for quality. Over the course of this past year, I visited the Ford dealership in Montrose, CO, Delta, CO, Grand Junctions Ford dealers and Glenwood Springs, CO. Had been looking quite a while for a used Honda Pilot. I decided to test the one Columbine Ford had on their lot. Dustin Wood came up to us in a friendly manner, not like a shark after bait, as with most car dealers. He was very very knowledgeable about all the used cars I asked him about from Fords to Toyota's, cars, trucks and suv's. Was wonderful during the test drives and walking around looking at other vehicles. Did his best at getting me as close as possible to the dollar amount I could spend on the Honda. Was easy to contact and talk to and treated us as friends instead of just a customer. My husband, myself and son all liked working with him and are very thankful he went above and beyond in helping us. He even made sure the console was "properly cleaned out" there was a little gunk the detailer's missed. He also got us a new battery as the old one was a little weak. I was most impressed with his person-ability and knowledge of a surprising array of different vehicles. Also very important to me, he didn't treat me like some uninformed woman who should have been shopping with her husband to guide her in buying herself a car. Thanks Dustin, love the Pilot.

Dustin and Curtis were great! When we arrived at the dealership we were not anticipating purchasing but Dustin's friendly and not pushy attitude allowed us to look around and take the time we needed to pick a great used vehicle. Curtis helped us out with the financing. He was able to get my loan set up with a decent interest rate and an extended warranty. What really impressed me was the time he took after I had already made the purchase. The next day I received a call from him saying he wasn't happy with the interest rate he got me and that he had found a better option. He sent me the new papers so I didn't even have to drive back to Rifle. These extra steps really show that the employees care about their customers and strive to deliver world class service. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family.

This was an exceptional experience on many levels. It started out with Dustin contacting us to see what he could do for us, he asked a lot of questions to find out what we wanted. He encouraged us to look at their website and see if there was anything we liked. He assured us he could help us even with our challenges. He worked very hard for us. We got the vehicle we wanted, got a fair price for our trade in and in a few short hours the deal was done. The experience gets better from a service after the sale stand point. We had an issue with a rip in the head liner and a door sensor that keep going off even when the door was closed. I had also asked about the condition of the tires because in our excitement we didn't realize what poor condition they were in. I truly believe it was an honest oversight on their part as well. They scheduled the door and headliner and with help from his manager they took full responsibility for the tires and replaced them at no charge to us. They gave my wife a car to drive back to Grand Junction and use while they took care of those 3 things. They even delivered our vehicle back to us in Grand Junction with a full tank of gas. As far as the tires go I had thought we might have to pay half at least and that was not the case. Car dealers have at times a unfair label that I don't need to describe. Dustin and the rest of Columbine Ford's team is very much about the customer because their action show it!

On the 25th of October, 2013 I had a very pleasant car buying experience at Columbine Ford. Everything went smoothly, the team was very friendly ( I was able to meet Mr. Breslin an owner/manager, Josh and Jake Bowen who assisted directly with our new vehicle, and Curtis Smith in finance who was very knowledgable and personable), there was excellent agreement on figures all the way through finance, and I was able to acquire a great new Escape in no time at all. This dealer was a fine place to shop, and they offer some of the best values in the car industry. The power, handling, fuel efficiency, technology, and style rolled into the 2013 Escapes make it a top pick. I hesitate to recommend as while the staff was great, there are issues with the vehicle being a Ford Certified Pre-owned vehicle. Car was picked up with 57k on it. No Ford Vehicle Inspection Checklist was given, I printed a copy myself from Ford to go over. Appearance and cleanliness was good. The faults found were: Rear tires need to be replaced now. Less than 2/32 of tread and they are at the wear indicators. Original tires. Engine air filter was original and extremely dirty and no new filter replaced. This leads me to believe the entire engine checklist was skipped. Trunk had panels with missing screws and loose causing trunk rattles. No owners manual with vehicle. Vehicle came with 2 sets of keys/remote but only one key/remote provided. They didn't know what happened to the 2nd key, which also means you can't make a copy as you need both sets. Did not come with a full tank of gas, came with 1/8 of a tank. Wipers had to be replaced as they were bad. Had this vehicle been through the Inspection checklist and had I been provided one I'm sure some of these issues would not have occurred. But they did and it makes me very skeptical of their "Ford Certified" program and whether they actually adhere to Ford guidelines. Should you buy any used vehicle at Columbine Ford please do a through inspection of the vehicle and if it is Ford Certified ask and go over the checklist from start to finish.

Excellent experience with Josh Bowen and Columbine Ford! Low (NO) pressure, great trade in allowance, no games or back and forth negotiating. Great value on the vehicle (and yes, I shopped several Ford Dealers). Absolutely the best experience I've EVER had purchasing a vehicle -- from start to finish.I have purchased several vehicles from dealers in my time, and have ALWAYS dreaded walking on to the lot. The pressure to buy and then the pressure at the end to buy the extended warranty or this add on and that "extra" that isn't included in the price when sitting down to finalize the transaction has always been a source of contention for me. Not at Columbine Ford!! Yes, the extended warranty as well as an extended service plan was offered, but I declined. Not because I felt it wasn't of value, but because I wanted additional time to consider the options. Curtis didn't try to hard sell me on the plans, and furthermore streamlined the process so it was absolutely painless. Record time for being in and out of a finance department!!I am the third person in under two years, who has dealt with Josh in our circle of friends.Because of the experiences we've all enjoyed -- I'm certain that many more referals will be headed his / their way. I would STRONGLY encourage anyone considering buying a vehicle to visit Columbine Ford!!

My experience with Columbine Ford in Rifle Colorado was simply the easiest and fastest way that I have ever bought a vehicle. I can't say enough about them. Josh Bowen was a pleasure to work with and he made buying my truck fun! I started the process of looking for my truck about a year ago by researching online and reading reviews of the Raptor and finally decided what I wanted before I even went to the dealership. Josh was recommended to us by a friend and we had bought from Ford before so I went in and talked with him for only a short time before he put me inside the truck. Of course I was sold on the truck after the test drive but before I would purchase I had to make sure it was the right time. He did not pressure me into buying right there on the spot and I really appreciated that. He just answered my questions and said when I was ready to come on back in. Well I was ready after a couple of months and when I went back in it only took a hour or so to do the paperwork and sign papers. My truck showed up a week later and I was driving away in just another hour. It was quick, easy and a great deal. I was very pleased and will continue to buy from them. Also I wan to give credit to their service department for the care that they have shown my wife over the past couple of years. This also had a part in why i bought from them. I work out of town and when my wife needs something done on her vehicle they make sure she is taken care of with loaner cars and scheduling. Dustin was so very helpful. I had to get out of the vehicle I had that day, and within a matter of a couple hours I was driving home in a new to me vehicle! Dustin and Curtis were able to keep my payments in the price range I could afford. Was ready for a new truck. Had already done research and knew what I wanted. I called ahead to get an idea of price and availability. Straight forward answers were given, and sounded like they meant it. The dealership had been recommended to me by a friend, who is familiar with them and he was correct. I didn't have a lot of time to spend and they were very accommodating. They did just what they said, and all they could to make it work. Very pleasant to work with. Even let us water the horses we were hauling from the hydrant on the side of the showroom. Great guys! I had to have a hitch installed and the wait was too long ,so they loaned me the same type truck to tow horse trailer home, and then delivered the purchased truck to my home (over 300 miles away) the next day. Needless to say unless some unforeseen issue comes up I'll purchase my vehicles here.

I first looked on Columbine Ford's wed site, which is very user friendly, and found a 2012 Edge that I was interested in. On Sunday, Sept.22 I completed the online information about the vehicle and my questions I had about the vehicle. At 7:50 a.m. Monday morning, Sept. 23, I received an email from Sales Consultant, Stan Kutnicki with his contact phone #. We arranged a 2 p.m. meeting for Sept. 27 at their location in Rifle. With in 10 min. after meeting Stan I felt that I had known him all my life. In our conversations, he never mentioned the word "sell" one time. It was always, lets see if we have something you will like and go from there. I also had the pleasure of meeting Tim Evely, the general sales manager and Columbine Ford owner, Jimmy Breslin. Their concern was "do we have something you like" and "are we answering all your questions". It was never, "are you going to buy" or "can we sell you something". I did purchase the 2012 Edge, for the price I was interested in. And Curtis Smith was so great in explaining all the finance details and options. And what a great vehicle it is. I left Columbine Ford with the feeling that "we not only want you as a customer, but we also want you as a friend". Upon working with the sales team at Columbine Ford in North Rifle, I experienced the most pleasant truck buying experience I have ever had. I negotiated with Jose over the phone, and they found the identical truck I wanted in Denver and had it shipped to Rifle so I didn't have to drive 4 hours one way to pick it up which is honestly more than I hoped for. The price was negotiated over the phone and they honored that price when I went to take delivery of my new Ford. This is unheard of in the auto sales industry! In my past dealings with car salesmen, it normally takes hours of bickering back and forth to come to a fair price for both parties involved. James and Jose both bent over backwards to find the exact make, model, and even color of truck I desired and were able to deliver it to me with no hidden costs or additional fees. They laid everything on the table for me in a way that was both professional and understandable. Jose even took precious sales time out of his day just to follow up and make sure I was happy with everything about the truck, something no salesman has ever done in any trade. I rushed out of the office after signing all of the papers and the next day James said that his finance guy didn't get me the best deal for the interest rate and had me come back to his office because he had a better offer for me. After reviewing what James showed me, he save me around $6200 just in finance charges. James was so honest, that I would gladly send my friends, family, and colleagues to him and Jose in a heartbeat knowing that they would be taken care of like family. I came into Columbine looking for a new F350 and I would have to say that the friendliness and willingness to help me find what I was looking for was second to none that I have ever experienced. Stan was very helpful in finding the exact truck that I was looking for and their service after the fact did not decrease as with some dealers I have experienced that once the sell is done you are out the door and on your way. I would definitely recommend Columbine to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle.

I searched over 50 dealers in and around Colorado, none of them came close to being reasonably priced except Columbine Ford. I had experience with at least 2 other finance departments from other dealerships and had a very poor experience with them. Columbine Ford provided all around GREAT service from choosing a vehicle to fit my needs to getting financing. I would highly recommend this team! They are not your typical car sales team (that just shove you into a deal), they work with you every step of the way.

I decided to buy a second car, and had recently visited several dealerships around the area but was not impressed with any of them. Most of them were very forceful and tried to get me to buy a car I didn't even want. I had also put a hold/deposit on a car at one of the dealerships while I waited for my pre-approval. Once I had the certificate, I made an offer on the car, and they jacked up the price on me. I was not happy about that so I walked.There was one other local dealership that I hadn't visited, and that was Columbine ford. I heard a lot of good things about the dealership, and decided to check out their website. I found a couple of cars that interested me, so I contacted the dealership. I made initial contact with Stan, and he informed me that one of the cars I was interested in was already sold. He informed me that he had another car he thought I would like though. I drove from my home to meet with Stan and he showed me a 2007 Ford Fusion SEL. I drove the car and told Stan it would work for me as long as the numbers were right for my budget. He told me he thought he could get the numbers where I needed them to be. I told him I was pre-approved by my credit union and wanted to see some numbers on the Fusion. He and Jimmy B. insisted that I allow them to try their credit resources as well. I really didn't want to, but agreed. Ultimately, the decision was made to use my credit union as long as they could agree on my budget numbers. So, with that said, I waited quite a while for someone to sit down and go over the numbers with me. This never happened! It should have been a quick deal since I had already been pre-approved.I would have given them a higher score if Stan or Curtis would have taken the time to go over the numbers with me on a worksheet. I was pre-approved by my credit union, but had to wait several hours before I actually saw any numbers. When I was sent to Curtis by Stan, Curtis already had the contract written up. This was the first time I had seen any numbers on paper. I hadn't even agreed to purchase the vehicle yet. Ultimately, we were able to agree on a deal for the 2007 Ford Fusion. Curtis was great at explaining everything to me, and made sure the numbers were where I needed them to be. Stan was also great when it came to taking care of my concerns with the car. He had the detail crew clean it up nicely before I drove it off the lot. They even had one of the guys follow me home in the vehicle I drove to the dealership, and brought me back so I could drive the Fusion home. That to me is customer service!Even though we initially got off on the wrong foot, I would recommend Columbine Ford to anyone who is interested in purchasing a new or pre-owned vehicle. They made it right at the end of the day! They will take care of you as long as you make it clear to them what you're looking for. I hope to do business with them again in the future. No other dealer in the area will take care of you like these folks do. Thanks again everyone! Ray

I have bought several vehicles from Columbine Ford over time. I was excited about trading a late model Ford on a new high performance Mustang. My trade was appraised 4 times in an hour by a mystery phone buyer that kept on giving me $200 more for my trade. After 4 hours of negotiating the finance numbers that they gave me had an added $4000.00 for a warranty and other add ons.. Finding this out while sitting in the Finance office was wrong. Tim Evely really did not treat me with any respect, and really was nasty to his own Salesman. The 'little Ford Dealer' in Rifle is gone. I found out 2 days later that Rick Levine the owner for 20 years sold the Dealership to a Denver Dealer who replaced everyone in the Business. I went to Autonation and was treated better and saved $8432.00

Stan assisted us with locating local businesses that could outfit our new F-250 with the necessary gear for our fifth wheel camper. Stan has also assisted us with understanding the gadgets on our new truck, and I'm still calling him a week after the purchase. I would recommend Columbine Ford to everyone. It's worth the trip. We travelled 216 miles for the sale.

I went to Columbine to originally purchase a used truck. As soon as i got out of my car there was a gentleman with a warm welcome asking what they could help me with. I was introduced to Josh Bowen right away, and even though the truck I had wanted to look at had sold the night before, he had re-affirmed me that they would do whatever they could to get me into the right truck. After finding the right truck in my price range, they worked their dealer magic to make the financing work for me! After leaving the dealership I felt like I had left with an amazing new truck that I bought from friends, not just another dealership. I would absolutely recommend Columbine to all of my friends and family. It truly was an easy and fun car buying experience.

We bought a used Kia Sportage from Columbine. Our financing was in place before we arrived, so we needed to drive the car and consider others before finalizing the deal.The very nice part of dealing with Jose Gomez is that he is relaxed and does not pressure a customer into a deal. Several times through the visit, he mentioned that the purchase was our decision and ours only and he completely understood if we decided to go another direction. We felt we could leave at any time and be on our way without a hassle.We took a long time to make a final decision about the car. It was really the only used car that fit our needs exactly, but we were reluctant to take out such a big loan. But, the good thing was that the financing people at the dealership had already lowered the price more than $2000 below Kelly Blue Book to get us financed. The original asking price for the car was just under $21,000, but they lowered it nearly $3000 to $18,000 to get the deal done. This gave us positive equity in the car the moment we signed the papers.Nevertheless, we may not have liked it or decided on something else. At this dealership, they had no problem letting us walk and shop for a car elsewhere.They provided the printed KBB.com blue book estimate, using the exact car's information and mileage. They showed us the finance amount with the kbb sheet, to show us that their final price was well below the kbb. So, had we purchased the car (and we did,) it was a no-brainer and we had all the information we needed. Their kbb was the same as that I got from my smart phone.Anyway, it was overall a great experience--completely unexpected at a car dealer. We had already been to a couple dealers who couldn't get us financed--or wanted 40 % down, but this dealership in Rifle, Colorado got our deal done painlessly. I still can't believe it.We're more than happy with the car, which still has 14,000 miles of full factory warranty on it, and 64,000 of power train warranty. So, we didn't have to buy an extended warranty when we bought the car. They got us into the car for the exact down payment and under the monthly payment we specified, for the car we wanted. What more can you ask for? They did their part.I would go back to this dealership in a heartbeat, and will look there for my next car, unless they just don't have it. It was a very, very smooth process, no pressure at all, and while we were waiting for our finance papers to be ready, they even paid for us to go and have a BBQ rib lunch.I'm certain our experience at Columbine was not unique. I really had no intentions of buying a car on my first day of car shopping. I defiantly had not intended on a new car. I unfortunately was pretty upside down on my trade in but feel that I got a fair trade in price from Columbine Ford. Buying a new car came with incentives which offset my carry over balance and warranties. The best part was the customer service its nice to not be pressured or feel haggled. I really feel that the new car I drove off in that very same day was the right purchase for me and I would recommend Columbine Ford to anyone.
