We dealt with Paul and he was great. He showed us every vehicle I wanted to look at and he went over all of them with me. Once we picked one out he had the paperwork processed right away and when we went to pick up the car he went over the car from top to bottom with me. He also gave our son a balloon. I had purchased two cars from Commonwealth previously (a KIA & a Honda Pilot). After that, I decided to lease a BMW from another dealership. When my lease was up, I knew I wanted to go back to a KIA - but wasn't sure how the process would work. My husband had met Paul K (who normally works with Chevy's) and had his card, so I gave Paul a call.Paul was amazing! He talked me through turning in my lease (even though it wasn't through Commonwealth), told me what things to "make sure" I did before turning it in, and started working with me on the purchase of my new KIA Sportage. Admittedly, I was a bit picky on the colors and options I wanted - but Paul kept finding me options and choices until we found the perfect car for me.On the day of delivery, Paul had a TEAM of Commonwealth employees there to help me. From finance, to managers to an in-house "expert" on KIAs - Paul and the entire team made this the best car-buying experience I have had!

When I first bought my 2013 Malibu here, I thought I got a good deal. I should know by now, as I have learned over and over, you get what you pay for. Overall, the car and the service at this dealership have been a disappointment. Their television ads lead you believe they care about retaining customers, but that has not been my experience at all. I had a couple of consecutive unsatisfactory service experiences, so I stopped bringing the car there for service. As time went by, and I did not return, I started to receive phone calls and letters from the dealership, inviting me to call and discuss with them why I have not returned. I subsequently received a letter from Chevrolet about a possible defect with the emissions system, and I believed my car had this problem as an indicator light kept coming on, even after having the car serviced (elsewhere). I decided to reach out to the person whose name was signed on the letter, the service manager George, to discuss my negative experiences and why I had not returned, since it seemed someone was interested in having that conversation. I left two messages before I got a call back, and the call was not from him, it was from one of the "service advisors". I told the caller that I really wanted to speak with George, but he never returned that call. In the meantime, the car (now only 3 years old) failed inspection. Although I stopped bringing the car to Commonwealth, I have kept up with oil changes, transmission service, etc. as recommended. There also were two pieces of exterior molding that spontaneously fell off the car as I was driving- not in a car wash or an accident, but literally while I was just driving down the road. I do put a lot of highway miles on the car while commuting to work, but molding should not just be falling off a less-than-3-year-old car, for no reason- I'm sorry, it just shouldn't. I was also very upset and disappointed that a 3-year-old car that has been properly maintained would fail inspection. I had to e-mail Charlie Daher to get a phone call from the service manager, and I made arrangements to leave the car for the emissions problem (covered by Chevrolet) and to have the molding replaced, hoping I would not have to pay to have this done. They were not able to replace one of the molding pieces as is, so they had to order a new piece- they told me I would need to pay $108 for it. If they really stand by the vehicles they sell, they would not be asking me to pay for a piece of molding that should never have fallen off in the first place. When I asked to speak with the service manage, George, about this, he would not come to the phone. Instead, I was told via the service advisor that I can try to take it up with GM if I feel it fell off prematurely. I would expect the dealership to take care of it, and to "take it with GM" on my behalf- if they were really interested in retaining me as a customer. They clearly are not. This is the first non-Ford car I have bought in a long time- the first car I ever bought at Commonwealth. It will also be my last.

I went in looking but I knew I would walk out with an automobile. I was looking for a Chevrolet Malibu since I Had purchased a 2010 at Commonwealth . I don't do the Shop us Last . I shop them First since I know they are the best around. I would commend Chris Drew he was an excellent sales person. He really listened to me and helped me get a great deal on my 2016 Jet Black Metallic Malibu . I am totally in heaven.

Just picked up my 2016 suburban the other day and am totally in love with it. The entire buying experience was very pleasant. Peter was super helpful and very knowledgeable about all of the features of the vehicle. It made it very easy for us to make our decision. The finance department was great too. The quickest/easiest process we've ever had buying a new car. Only complaint was waiting over an hour to get our trade in appraised.

The overall experience was great. The dealership itself is clean and comfortable. My salesman was helpful and not pushy which I appreciated! He also helped me through the entire process including dealing with my insurance company, turning in my previous car, etc. He was very thorough and helped me setup my Bluetooth, reminded me not to forget my EZ pass on my old car, and made sure I knew how to safely operate the remote starter. I have been looking for a "specific" CPO car for over 6 mo. Worked with several other dealerships and finally "shopped last" at Commonwealth and they found exactly what I wanted. Initially I had heard so many positive experiences from the Commonwealth Dealership, so I was eager to d find out just how good it was. As soon as I walked in I was greated by a salesman named Paul Kazalski with a smile and hand shake. I instantly felt like I was apart of the family. Being inexperienced with the processes of buying a vehicle, I was naturally expecting to be taken advantage of. But to my dismay, Paul told me he would do anything he could to get me a vehicle that I could afford, and it would easily raise my credit score. I didn't have to do anything, he managed the entire process, and I didn't stress about anything. It was truly like I walked in and he handed me my keys! Sandra Howard has a great team working with her, and this visit (an oil change, fluid inspection and tire rotation) afforded me the opportunity to visit with Sarah Lord. Sarah greets every customer with her radiant smile and is very attentive to the needs of her customers. I have been dealing with Commonwealth Chevrolet for many years and I have brought my 2008 Saturn Vue in for many repairs and yearly checkups. I have also dealt will many employees during these many years. I have been impressed with Sarah Lord from the beginning. Sarah is pleasant, customer focused, and very easy to talk to and deal with regardless of the situation. Obviously, she has been well trained. As a retired Customer Service or AT&T and Lucent Technologies, the first thing I look for is how I am treated when I first walk in to a place of business. If I were running a business, I would want Sarah on my TEAM because I know I could trust her to be professional and caring. Sarah has the ability to put customers at ease. My wife and i went to Commnwelth Motors in April looking for a vehicle early on a Saturday moring in April , looking for a used car with good gas milage and safe , Chris Drew came out a few minuteas after arrived , greeted us introduced himslef to us ,and asked us if we had any special vehicle in mind .after few minutes we told hime we woudl like to test drive 2 different vehicles to see which one we preferred . he was extremely helpful with everyrthing, we test drove both vehicles made our decision sat down with him did all the paperwork , purchased a 2014 certified Pre-owned Chevrolet Equinox with 18000 miles on it , My wife absolutely loves it . I brought my 2015 Impala in for a routine oil change. My customer service rep, Chris, told me I was also due for my 25,000 mi check up. I took the shuttle home and it took just about the length of time Chris said it would take. When I went back to pick up my car, Chris explained everything that was done, thoroughly. He was great! He didn't talk down to me but made sure I understood everything. Chris, you rock! Did I mention how awesome Chris is?

Andrew Frost was great! My first visit to Commonwealth Chevy was due to the check engine light coming on in my 2014 Chevy Cruze and the dealership where I bought the car was almost 2 hours from my location. Turns out the car needed several things fixed, but the service advisor walked me through it all and put me at ease. I am very happy with my experience and Commonwealth has earned a new customer!

This is my second experience with Commonwealth Chevrolet and it was as smooth as my first. Three years ago, I leased my first car from them. Not knowing what the process would be for turning in my car (and leasing a new one) the whole concept made me a little anxious. But Rich and Rich were so helpful and made the process so easy. I've owned different types of pickup trucks over the years but never a Chevy. I decided to check them out, looked at dealerships in the area, and discovered that Commonwealth had twice as many 1500s available for me to look at than anyone else. Entering the dealership I was greeted by Chris who asked what I was looking for and next asked what I needed and wanted in a truck. This helped us focus on what engine/tow options and accessories were needed. I was impressed Chris wasn't giving the "hard sell" and that he only showed me what I wanted. After we agreed on a truck, the trade-in value on my current truck (I was happy with the amount, no need for haggling), Chris handed me off the the financing folks who were very efficient and helpful in getting a great rate. I love both the truck and the dealership and look forward to dealing with them, both for service and new vehicles in the future.

Just had a great sales experience this past President's Day. I was looking to lease a new Silverado, and John Zak braved the freezing cold weather and spent the better part of an hour literally walking the lot and looking at every Z71 Silverado in stock. In fact, we took multiple test drives to ensure to be able to compare the ride of one with the larger wheels vs. the smaller wheels. Even though the weather wasn't great, John took as much time as I wanted so he knew I was 100% satisfied with the truck I chose. The buying process was far less painless than previous experiences I have had at other Chevy dealers...by that I did not get the usual back-and-forth nonsense. I totally appreciate any dealer that doesn't play games with their potential customers, and Commonwealth is very upfront with their prices. I will recommend John Zak and the Commonwealth team to any of my friends or family looking for a great buying experience!

Took my Jeep Liberty for an oil change and inspection sticker. We were informed that the car needed tires. They matched a competitors price and gave up a rebate. We have taken our cars to Commonwealth service for over 10 years. Always a great experience.

I arrived to the dealership around 6 PM to take a look at a new 2015 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LTZ that I found online, this was mid August. This was a 90 minute trip for me. I took a real quick test drive and knew I wanted the truck, didn't think I needed a longer ride as I traded a 2011 version of the truck that was perfect from day 1. The purchase process was great, Chris Drew was very easy to deal with and they honored the price they had online (most online prices can't be had at other dealers). People stayed late to get the paperwork done and we agreed to pick the truck up the next morning. There were several small scratches that I pointed out and they said that would be taken care of before pickup. Above is the end of the good experience. I went the next day to pick up the Truck and found that the scratches hadn't been touched, and now that sun was hitting it their were even more scratches than I noticed at night (jet black truck show's scratches easy). We agreed that they would take care of these issues and I would came back the next day to pick up the truck. The next day I went and picked up the truck, and the scratches had been taken care of. I jump on the highway to head to Maine for the weekend, and as soon as I get out of the traffic in the area I can feel a severe shake (feels like tires are not balanced). I call the dealership and they say that any dealership can take care of the warranty issues, so no need to bring it all the way back to them. The next week I bring the truck to Diamond Chevrolet in Auburn. They balance the tires and give the truck back, I drive it and very little improvement is noticed. I schedule another appointment with them, and they take it in again and balance the tires twice and do an alignment. They agreed the problem was still there, but since it was Friday and I needed the truck for the weekend I would bring it back on Monday. I bring it back on Monday and they do the balance again, and road force balance and say that all numbers are 000's so the balance is perfect. They said they test drove it and the issues is gone. I pick the truck up and again the issue is still there. I decide to call commonwealth about the issues and they say to bring it in for them to look at. Again, this is 3 hours round trip every time I need to drop it off and pick it up. I brought them the truck on Oct 7th, and they provided me with a suburban rental. This is the same drivetrain as the truck and it rode excellent. They kept the truck for 5 days and during test drives felt the issue, and in that time balanced the tires again (multiple times) and road forced balanced the tires. They said they found 1 that was in-correctable during the road force test so they replaced that 1 tire. They again test drove the vehicle and said that they still felt a vibration but I would still need to pick the vehicle up to test drive it, and I would have to update my ticket with GM to have a GM engineer out to investigate. These are all GM certified technicians performing the work, and each time they say the tires are balanced yet everytime I bring it back they find tires are out of balance. This either does not say much for GM techs, or their is something causing the tires to come out of balance. This is where the real frustrating part begins. while I was driving home from the dealership on 10/13 I called GM to let them know the problem was still there. My Senior Advisor Carmen said that there is one more test they would like done (newly released test) and that the customer experience Manager would be calling me within 48 hours from the dealership to schedule that. 72 hours went by and no call, so I called the dealership on Friday 10/16 and spoke with someone in service. He said he would investigate with the Customer experience manager and get back to me. He called back on monday 10/19 saying that they never heard from GM and I would need to call GM customer care. I called GM several times, leaving VM's, having the person that answered the phone leave updates in the SR that I called and wanted a callback from my Advisor Carmen, and even talking to other advisors. I finally received a callback from Carmen on 10/26 for the first time stating that she spoke to George Bartunek at Commonwealth and that I can call him to schedule a time with an engineer to take a ride in the vehicle with me. I had a new child born 2 days earlier so informed her it would be a couple of days before I could call George to schedule. on Friday 10/30 I called George to setup a time, but I did not hear back from him that day. It was Friday so I figured I would hear Saturday or Monday the latest. Tuesday 11/3 arrives and I still have not heard back, so I call and leave another VM for George. on 11/3 I then call GM to speak to Carmen, who the person said was out that day. I asked to speak to another advisor. I was passed to someone and had to explain the entire situation and explain my frustration with the process. I told her that I did not want to leave a VM for Carmen since it takes weeks to hear back and that I needed to speak to Carmen or her Manager. That person says that she bumped into Carmen and she would live transfer me over to her, and that Carmen was waiting for my call. This Advisor went to transfer me over to Carmen and of course I ended up at Carmens Voicemail, at this point I'm very upset because I expressed that I would not just leave a message. I call back and they pass me to another Senior advisor and I have to explain everything once again. She said that she will be taking over my case from Carmen, which I am happy about. She said that she will need 2 days to get things going, that will be 11/5. I will update once I see if she actually calls back at the designated time ( I have my doubts). So far this purchase has been a huge mistake. I traded in a perfect 2011 silverado that rode excellent with 70k miles on it, for a piece of junk that I'm not sure is safe for my children to be riding in. How can they say the vehicle is safe when they can't find what is causing the shaking. ** Update ** I never heard back from GM customer service, but as soon as I submitted this review George called me within mintues (after days of no calls) on 11/3. George pretty much said to change my review or he would not help me out. I changed it so that we could move forward. He asked that I come in on 11/17, and I asked what they would be checking. He stated responded in email that a GM rep would be there to ride in the truck with me, so I agreed to take half a day off to come out there once again. 11/17 I arrive at the dealership and George puts me into the truck with a senior mechanic, not a GM rep that I was promised. I didnt say anything at the time but should have questions why the GM rep was not present. I rode in the truck with him and he thought it felt good, but that was at 62-65. I explained to him that its at 75-80 when it kicks in which is what I told them every time I brought it in to be looked at. Finally after 10 minute of driving I got him to go 75 and immediately he felt the issue. We arrived back at the dealer and George asked what I wanted to do. I informed him that after 5 trips out there to fix it I cant keep doing this, I buy new trucks so I dont have to bring them in for repair constantly. George agreed and said that we would begin the GM buyback process. He sets me up with Salesman Ed who will assist in finding another truck. At this point they have very little for LTZ trucks left so we agree to wait for the 2016s to arrive so I can get the same truck that I originally bought (color/interior). It took about 2 months before they finally began getting any LTZs in stock, but I touched base with Ed occasionally and they said to take my time because GM will only do this one time. So I agreed and continued to wait. They finally received a black LTZ and I went to see it on Jan 27th to test drive it. I agreed this would be the replacement truck, and Ed would send the vin number to George to add to the paperwork. George had already said that everything was approved and he just needed the vin number of the new truck. On 2/24 I finally receive a call from Ed asking if I heard from GM, I informed him I have not. He said that GM backed out of the buyback/trade assist, but he did not have more details why. I immediately emailed George asking for a callback to discuss on 2/24, and left a VM for him on 2/25. I called again on 2/26 and it's his day off. He will be back in on the 27th, so I will call and email again. I finally received an email from him on Monday February 29th stating that they are willing to do the trade assist without GM. I asked several questions and received round about answers and finally I found out that GM approved the trade assist, but the dealership would have to keep the vehicle and re-sell so the dealership backed out. I express that I'm not happy about it, but George states they would do the same thing but without GM. so I agree to let them run the numbers for me anyways for them doing the trade assist without GM. on 3/9 I call back since I have not heard from them with the numbers, and they say I will have to come back to have someone look at the truck, Luckily I had Ed appraise my truck on 2/24 while I was there in order to prevent coming back (even though he said it's not needed). We finally agreed to get me some backpark numbers to see if they were even close. They came back with $27-$28K, ARE YOU KIDDING ME (the sticker was $50K)!!! They expect me to take a $15k dollar hit after 6 months of owning this thing that has been a headache since day 1! Ed said that he wouldn't accept that either, so I will have to contact George again. I immediately emailed George on 2/9 around 8 PM, while he's off shift but I made it very clear I wanted a call back immediately in the morning. I called George on 3/10 and he said that the it's the dealerships discretion of they want to do the trade assist. In the end he said it's above his paygrade to make the decision on doing the trade assist, so I demanded that he gets the owner of the dealership on the phone. He said he would try to get someone today, but does not know if their working and would not call them at home. I am posting this review as it gives them 14 days to resolve the issue before this is posted for good.

The team at commonwealth chevy did not pressure me at all. They were informative and worked hard to get me the deal I was comfortable with. They showed me several models I was interested in and they worked the numbers several different ways so I could make the choice I was happy with. They took the time to sit and show me all the features of my new truck.

After going to different car dealers I have to say Commonwealth Chevrolet it's the best. The service they provide it's the best, they really take the time and listen to what you have to say. The sale guys really know the cars they sell and take the time to explain the difference between each model, making it easier to make your decision. Also the service center it's great they work fast and keep really good communication. I have to say the next car I buy will definitely be from Commonwealth because there overall service doesn't compare to no other car dealer.

I was referred to Commonwealth because my daughter had bought herHonda SUV through them and was very pleased. I concur. I intendedto buy a new car but was shown a much better used car with low milageand better price tag. The dealer showed me both options and explainedthe pros and cons. No high pressure, just facts, and he worked strictlywithin my price range. He answered all my questions before and afterpurchase and the service department also took the time to show me howto work some of the controls I did not fully understand when I went to getthe registration. All and all, excellent.

Bob, the service foreman, actually to the time to discuss the repairs with me. I felt confident my car was in good hands.They called me with a status on the repair.So far so good. the repair seems to have been down correctly.

I just purchased a 2015 Chevy Trax, and worked with Bob Mclain. It was my first time buying my own vehicle, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. Bob was friendly and courteous, listened patiently to what I was looking for, was great about answering all my questions, keeping me within my budget, and made sure I was getting what I wanted/needed in a vehicle. He goes with the customers flow, allowing the customer to take the lead in the experience, which makes such a positive difference! When it came time to finish up on the financial end of things, Bob referred me to Jaime, who was also wonderful. He was very helpful in answering some last minute questions and making sure I understood everything on the financial aspect. Both Bob and Jaime are very knowledgeable and are excellent at what they do. I would definitely recommend my family and friends looking for a new vehicle to Commonwealth. When the time comes down the road for a new vehicle, I will no doubt be going back to Commonwealth and hope again to be able to work with Bob.

Although the salesperson I initially met worked at Commonwealth Motors' Nissan store, he listened patiently to my requirements and my interest in a particular used vehicle. Although the vehicle was located at Commonwealth's Chevy store, he undertook the complete sales process, driving us there, taking my wife and I out in the vehicle, and answering our questions. My wife and I have three 20-something children; over the past 35 years, we have purchased at least 8 new vehicles and several used vehicles. So we have seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to automobile salespeople. During this process at Commonwealth, I gradually became aware that the old "pressure tactic" cliches did not apply. This was evident from our salesperson's behavior, and also from the behavior of everyone else we met, right up to the director of sales. We spoke briefly with Richard Winward on non-business issues; he was affable and open. We also spoke with Frank Deneu, who passed on the same calm, measured confidence that makes you think they really are there justs to see that you get what you're looking for. Most of our interaction, however, was with the salesperson Hans Malebranche from the Nissan store, where we first visited. His relaxed demeanor made us feel at ease; he answered every question, volunteered information about the vehicle, showed us the service area, and made it just plain easy to buy a car. Although we were just looking at a used vehicle for one of our children (with about 78,000 miles), this was a refreshing experience and made me think, "This is the kind of place I would like to do business with." And, I did. Furthermore, I would not hesitate to purchase a new vehicle from this salesperson and this dealership. My wife and I never got to the "tear-up-the-deposit-check-and-walk-out" stage we have reached with some dealerships in the past. It was a good day. Footnote: The day I picked up the used car, I noticed one of the two dome lights wasn't working. I drove back to the dealership figuring they'd pull it into a service bay and have me wait in the lounge. When I arrived and explained the situation, a service tech immediately climbed into the car, opened up the dome light, and investigated. It appeared to be a loose bulb and not a failed bulb, but he replaced it anyway--and gave me the old bulb to keep just in case. There was no charge, but I felt obligated to tip the service tech. That was above-and-beyond, in my view. Note: Neither I nor anyone in my family (or anyone I know) works for Commonwealth Motors, and I do not have any reason whatsoever to say kind things about my experience if they were untrue. This is simply what happened and how I felt about it. I thought I was going to spend weeks chasing down used cars at different dealerships (I had 8 used cars on my list), but the second visit proved to the be last.

During the test drive, my salesperson (RIchard Winward) proved to be knowledgeable and very helpful. When it came time to purchase, there were no games and we were able to get the deal done quickly. I searched other places looking for my perfect car. I was looking to lease a camaro and I first checked at Chevrolet in Braintree. Going to the place was a hassle where the sales reps were trying to take advantage of me and after continuous arguments I finally arrived at a reasonable price. The dealership gave me a price over the phone and after driving two hours, they completely changed everything. I went to the Chevy Commonwealth and discussed what I wanted and the price I was looking for and they matched it within 20 minutes. The dealership was able to give me what I wanted in a fast and friendly manner. The experience was smooth and they were very welcoming. It felt like I was part of the Chevy family and they listened to everything I had to said. If I ever needed anything clarified, they were able to explain it and make it easier to understand. Their slogan is to shop them last and thank god I did because it was a great experience and they were there for me when I needed them.

Purchased a 2014 Equinox LT in Dec '14 and loved it. Totaled it in Nov '14. Purchased the LS Equinox in Decmeber '15 because I couldn't afford the LT prices after they increased over the year but still enjoyed the car with the exception of the downgraded radio. I"ve had numerous issues with the Bluetooth and the radio in this car to where the Bluetooth won't disconnect and it keeps the radio on until the battery dies. Shutting off the car doesn't shut it off. I've brought it back to Commonwealth 4x and every time they have tried to tell me it's my iphone causing the issue and sometimes the radio just doesn't sync well with iphones. I guess that should be Chevy's new marketing slogan.....Great car, unless you have an iphone! We only like Samsung!! The first 2 times I was told that I need delete and re-sync the phone. I even sat at the dealer for 4 hours one time donig an upgrade to my phone with the hopes it would go away. It didn't! The next time I brought it in they said it was becasue the electric starter wasn't grounded properly but it's all set now. A week later it happened again and I was near the dealership on my way to pick up someone so I stopped to see if they could disconnect the battery witht he hopes of killing the radio. NOBODY THERE KNEW HOW TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY! Seems to me that should be a simple thing to know when you're a mechaninc at a dealership. The next step is to return the car again so they can replace the radio altogether but what an inconvenience this has been for a new car. I'm in sales, bluetooth and driving are a necessity these days. Extremely disappointed that we have to go to these lengths to fix the issue when they told me after the second time the radio probably needs to be replaced but it's like $4-5000 to do it so they want to exhaust all possibilites before they do it. I get it, but with the amount of time I've wasted sitting and waiting in your dealership and the number of times I've had to go back and forth to your dealership for the same problem probably cost me that much in time I could be spending with customers. The only positive I can say is that the group of individuals that greet you in the service area are very polite and do their best to help you.

I went to look at a particular color for a new 2015 Chevy Malibu. Chris patiently sat down with me and went over my desirables in a car, and discussed the pros and cons of differing color finishes. Despite my "color particularity" Chris found an absolutely beautiful black Chevy Malibu for me to test drive. He went over all the bells and whistles of my options and any associated cost upgrades for differing models. He never pressured me into choosing, just laid out my options and I am very happy with my choice. Then, after delivery he made sure the registration transfer and my onstar/xm satellite accounts were also working and I was happy with those options. Besides that, I am happy with my financing and future service options. Overall, it was a great seamless experience.

My sister and I both had to replace our very old cars. Neither of us had been shopping for cars alone and we were quite worried about having a negative experience with pushy sales people. Fortunately we experienced just the opposite at Commonwealth Motors. Mr. Steve Federico and Mr. Chris Drew treated us with kid gloves and the utmost respect. We went in prepared with research we had done through the internet and the newspapers and we feel we honestly got a great deal on Chevy Malibus. Mr. James Dimare and Mr. Rich Davis helped us with financial packages we can live with and Steve and Chris could not have been more detailed in their explanations to us about the cars. Great team and great experience!

Steve made everything extremely welcoming and comfortable. The specific Chevy we wanted was on the lot to test drive. There was no pressure, no rush. The facilities are clean and bright. I had my truck serviced today. I had made the appointment a few days ago with Chris T. in the Chevrolet Service Department. I knew right away he was a professional. Well, when i arrived today for my appointment Chris introduced himself and we discussed my trucks issues. I was totally correct in my first impression of him. Chris is a consummate professional. He researched my concerns and called me twice to keep me informed on the status of my repairs. I went to Commonwealth Chevy looking for a used car. Steve and Jamie both got me into a brand new 2014 leftover Cruze for less money then the 2013 used would have been and with extended warranty and all. I was very pleased with Steve's customer service and Jamie's finance skills in order to complete a deal that was better then the original one i went in for. My mother, father and grandfather have all purchased multiple cars with them and I know this is the first of many deals I will make with Commonwealth Chevy.

I stopped in and spoke with Sandra on Thursday, and was able to get an appointment for the next day, at a time convenient for me to wait. When I dropped off the car the next day, Chris went over the recall fix, and also let me know there would be no labor charge for installing new GM wiper blades I told him I wanted to purchase. The drop off area was immaculate, and the car was ready when promised. Hopefully, I won't be back, but if something goes wrong with my Malibu, its good to know I can feel comfortable taking it to Commonwealth.

Great experience buying a truck at Commonwealth Chevrolet. They work in steps. They first get you the best price for the vehicle before asking what type of payments you can afford or trade in. They don't use these to play with the numbers. Overall great experience.

The salesman never pressured us in any fashion....which I have found to be very rare in the car sales area. I like the way this dealership does business. They work in steps. First they get you the best price for the car or truck "before" they need to know what payments you can afford or what you're trading in. They don't use these to play with the numbers. Once you agree on the best price they work on trade or money down. Lastly, financing based on credit. Overall great experience.

I always feel that I get more attention and explanation of a problem or potential problem from any staff at Commonwealth Motors than I do from my family physician for physical issues. Chris (in the Service Department) was excellent today, as always. He took the time to explain the purpose of struts and the eventual need to replace the left driver side strut. No high pressure. No fancy technical language. Just plain and simple language to allow my understanding. I would not go anywhere else for service for our 2009 Chevy Malibu Hybrid. I have NEVER had a less-than-perfect experience at Commonwealth Motors Chevy Service dept.

Commonwealth Motors has the worst customer service. I made an appointment for an oil change and windshield wiper replacement and it took over two hours. I made the appointment because last time I was there I showed up without an appointment and I waited forever. My car was in the service department for over two hours as I waited in the waiting room with a two year old in toe. When I was driving home I decided to wash my windshield with my new windshield wipers, only to realize that they never replaced them. As you can imagine I was furious. Not only had I waited for over two hours for a service that should have been done faster, but they charged me for a service I never received. When I called the women who answered the phone gave me an attitude as it was somehow my fault. Anyone who has been there knows who I am talking about as she has 'no bedside manner' so to speak. She did not even apologize to me and was mad because I was yelling. Anyone who makes an appointment waits to hours and never has the service complete would be furious as I was. They did send a mechanic to my house who was completely apologetic and said it was his fault. I did not yell at him because he was there fixing my wipers for me, and I do understand people make mistakes but Commonwealth really should reserve a bay for people coming in for basic maintenance such as an oil change so they can get them in and out. Especially when people make appointments. People who came in after me were leaving before me, and I got to the point where I no longer cared if my two year old was screaming in the waiting room and trying to run out in the show room. I thought it was humorous that every other time I went there they gave me hand out stating if I gave them a good review I would get money off my next service. Low and behold they were not with my receipt when I checked out. Lucky for me I was able to find one in my glove compartment from last time.

We thoroughly enjoy our new 2015 Silverado 2500HD LTZ. The Duramax Diesel is the quietest diesel I've ever operated. Hauling a 7500 pound boat it gets 16 MPG. On the open highway without a load it gets 23 MPG. Amazing!Our salesman, Daniel Salois, was a nice, knowledgeable sales professional. Just took delivery on a 2014 Chevy Cruze tonight from Commonwealth Motors. The entire experience was top notch. From Jenn Gomes who corresponded with me for a few days prior to visiting the dealership via email to our salesman Paul Kazalski who was knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. Paul was able to put together a package that was reasonable given our monthly payment requirements. He also made us aware of and was able to apply both a military discount and Chevy factory rebate to make the deal better for us. Upon delivery Paul spent plenty of time with us going over the vehicles' features and how to use them. This is the 5th vehicle we have purchased from Commonwealth and the first rate customer service keeps us coming back!

I had been researching for a new car online and I came across the Equinox on the Commonwealth website, it was priced fair so I requested more information. I was then notified by Jen Gomez via email and she was very helpful and set up an appointment for me to meet with a salesperson. I was unable to attend the first appointment due to work conflicts and she promptly set me up for an appointment the next day. She was very nice and greeted me when I went to the dealership and quickly got the car I was interested in brought out so I could test drive. My salesperson, Josh was very helpful and not pushy at all which is very much appreciated. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We have purchased a couple of vehicles through Commonwealth before and this time was by far the best experience we would definitely shop there again.

We are past customers of Commonwealth which should say something in itself. We were in the market for a new vehicle and made our trip up to Commonwealth. After some research we went with the thought of purchasing one vehicle, test drove it, and when it came down to it, it was just out of our price we were looking to spend. Chris "got in our heads" to figure out exactly what we were looking for in our new vehicle and put us in something that we weren't expecting and come to find out it was exactly what we wanted! Very positive experience and will return when our other vehicle needs to be "upgraded".

We were out for a drive on President's day week-end Sunday, 2/16/2014, and decided we'd like to take a look at different vehicles to see which we could easily get in and out of, physically, as 70+ seniors. We stopped by Commonwealth because others had told us how nice they were and we like their TV ads! We were immediately greeted by Paul and hit it off with him immediately. We explained what we wanted to do and explained that we'd probably be buying another car in a few months. It has been a long time since I've dealt with sales people in the purchase of a car as I'd previously always dealt directly with the owner of a now closed Chevy dealership. It wasn't long before we were driving a new Malibu which was an exciting experience. We also found it quite easy to get in and out of. We ended up in negotiations with Paul and his "behind the scenes" support staff but just couldn't come to terms on a new model.We asked about used cars and were shown a very nice looking (my wife's criteria, LOL!) 2013 Malibu with only 15,500 miles on it. She was hooked and I knew, and suspect Paul knew also, that we'd be buying this car. Credit has to be given to Paul as he was an extremely patient and helpful sales associate as these cars are all quite new technology to us. We feel that we ended up with an excellent "deal" and congratulate the complete sales staff for their kindness, thoroughness and super consideration of my wife and I as new customers to this dealership. As of this writing we've only driven this car about 2 weeks and are still trying to learn all it's extras which always takes time with any vehicle. When we picked our car up the following Thursday, 3/20/2014, Paul was there and made sure we knew what we needed to do to drive it home which we truly appreciated. His efforts to make sure we understood and were happy with our purchase have been truly noted and very much appreciated by us.There is, in my opinion, one negative that I recall always being the case with any automobile purchase. "PAPERWORK, PAPERWORK, PAPERWORK!" I suspect that between making the sale on Sunday and delivery on Thursday at least 2 - 3 hours of our time was spent while Paul & other staff worked on PAPERWORK! Why are dealers selling all these super electronic vehicles but still can't seem to computerize and simplify the PAPERWORK?In summary we are truly impressed with our first exposure to the sales side of Commonwealth Chevrolet.

We had a great experience. We bought a pre-owned Ford Edge (went in with that specific vehicle in mind). The employees were honest, up-front, and did not pressure us. They gave us a great price and also were very attentive our requests for touching up the paint on a small ding on the vehicle and avoiding certain numbers on the license plate for cultural reasons. We were very impressed with the kid's waiting area, which kept our 2-year-old entertained for the 2 hours at the dealer, and during the subsequent trips for additional paperwork and picking up the car.

I gotta tell ya shopping for cars is one of my least favorite activities. After having gone to a few other dealerships, I located a vehicle that was at Commonwalth Chevy. When I walked into the dealership I was approached by a salesman named Chris Drew. Chris did not give me the usual run around or let me talk to my manager 10 times game. The price of my vehicle was already well below book value So I didn't really have to haggle on price. Chris was very knowledgable and friendly throughout the whole car buying proccess. from the time I walked into the dealership till the next day when I drove off in my car not even 24 hours had gone by. They did a great job handling all of the paperwork and RMV proccessing and it made it a breeze. The service department is very impressive and when you look into the service garage you know it's a pretty serious operation. The waiting area is also very inovative and comfortable. I have to say in all the years of purchasing a vehicle, Commonwealth Chevy was the most pleasant dealership I have dealt with. Thanks Commonwealth, and Thanks Chris Drew.

I recently bought my Chevy Traverse within the last year. I had previously driven a Honda. I was always so happy with the service at Commonwealth for my Honda. To be honest, I didn't know Commonwealth sold Chevy's or I probably would have purchased my Chevy from them. With that being said, I tried other Chevy dealerships for my routine service of oil changes & wheel rotation. I was never happy with the service received or the price. That's when I heard a commercial for Commonwealth Chevy! I was so excited to have the chance to have Commonwealth service again. For my next routine service I went to Commonwealth and was happy to see that the Commonweath standards of service are carried out at all their branches. With an unexpected and urgent need for a quality used car, I went to "shopuslast.com" to see what, if anything, would be available at Commonwealth Motors. To my amazement, Commonwealth Motors had a low-mileage (under 70K), 2004 Ford Focus for under $5,000.00. I couldn't believe my eyes and immediately used the website's option to "learn more".In less than 10 minutes of emailing my inquiry I received a call from Kevin Peterson at Commonweatlh Motors. Kevin confirmed the vehicle was available and offered to meet with me that evening. Unfortunately, I was unable to meet with Kevin that evening, but made an appointment for the following morning.Kevin met me at the agreed time, showed me the car and offered to let me test drive the vehicle. During our conversation, I told Kevin that the primary driver would be my wife, but she was unable to be with me because she was working. Kevin suggested we drive by my wife's job and show her the car quickly. I thought this very generous and very practical.At no point did I feel pressured by Kevin to purchase the vehicle or to look at anything other than the car I saw posted online. Kevin was fully informed about the vehicle and its history. He shared this information freely and clearly with me.The car suited my needs and I purchased it.The entire process at Commonweatlh Motors was very pleasant and easy. Community Giving Tree received a grant to purchase a cargo van for our nonprofit. We did not have a lot of money to spend. We found the best deal at Commonwealth, and then Paul worked to make the deal better, arranging for a back-up camera and an allowance to have our logo applied to the van. We picked it up yesterday and it is gorgeous! It will be terrific for picking up goods for our nonprofit, and it makes a great advertisement for us as well. Paul really worked hard for us and can't have made much of a profit because we got it so cheaply. This is our first vehicle purchase and we are grateful to Paul and his colleagues for walking us through the process and for being so accommodating.

As most woman, I HATE going to buy a car, as a single woman walking in alone... even more so. I called ahead to ask some questions about leasing a car and spoke to Tyler, he was great and I went over to see him. When I got there, i thought "oh he's young, I hope he's not high pressure!". I explained that I hated the whole process, that I was in sales, but I wanted to deal with someone who does sales like I do... Here are the features, here are the benefits, if you like it great, if you don't let's look at something else. I said that I didn't want to feel pressured or feel like there was any "I have to check with my manager"... and I said if anyone else came over to give me a "pitch", it was going to be game over, done deal, I would walk right out! I said that I only wanted to deal with Him and he respected the fact that I said "I am not going to buy anything today I'm just starting to look and I'm not even sure I want a Chevy"... I ended up falling in love with the 2014 ChevyEquinox, I had done my research, read reviews and I had considered going home and sleeping on it, but the whole experience was so pleasant and easy, I felt like I was car shopping with a friend who knew everything about the car, I didn't want or need to draw it out and I did the deal on the same day. Jaimie made the whole financing process quick and easy. It took the better part of my Saturday, but it was a Saturday well spent. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a Chevy, calling to set up an appointment with Tyler!!!

I went to this dealership after finding a vehicle from their inventory on an auto trader website. I had just intended on looking at the vehicle, since I didn't have much time, but ended up purchasing it. When I took the car out for a test drive, Jeff Bancroft rode with me. He was very helpful and personable and made me feel very comfortable (not a feeling I'm used to at car dealerships). I let him know I didn't have much time, so working with Frank Deneu, he made the deal go through in less than 30 minutes. I got the vehicle I wanted, at a cost lower than Kelley Blue Book pricing, in record time. We went back and forth on pricing quickly, and I ended up with exactly what I had hoped for. I got a great deal, and had a great experience.

I had a great experience with Tyler Seifert and Frank Deneu at Commonwealth Chevy. I was looking into trading in two cars for a new Camaro and they made it happen. They met my asking price for the trades and they gave me a great deal on the Camaro. From negotiating the sale to the business manager Jamie Dimare, who got me an excellent interest rate, the entire experience was positive. In addition, they have a lot of cars in stock and they are easy to get to, right of 495. I highly recommend Commonwealth Chevrolet.

I went to Commonwealth initially for some car shopping. I was met by a salesperson named Tyler who toured some of the cars with me. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.I decided I liked the Chevy Equinox 2013, but was not yet ready to purchase a new car. Weeks later, my car happened to be getting some service at another dealership, so I took a test drive and got a price quote for the Equinox. I went back to Commonwealth and saw the salesperson, Tyler who had met with me. He remembered who I was and everything we had talked about. The Atlantis Blue Chevy Equinox with the exact features I wanted was on the lot and I got a great price! I bought the car that day!I am VERY pleased with my purchase. Chris is a great sales rep to work with, Shopped on a Sunday, signed all my paperwork and picked up the car on Tuesday.ter the paperwork was done. Chris showed me all the nice features of the car very patiently, even setting up the ONStar and SirusXM. I love my passcarat and enjoy working with Chris. I was in the process of purchasing a used vehicle for the past several months. Becoming frustrated with private sales and smaller auto sales stores, I seriously considered the "shop us last" motto. I looked on line at the used car selection, saw a Chevy Sonic that fit my requirements and made an appointment for the next day. The next day came and it was poring and I did not feel like going to look at the car in the rain. I called Commonwealth Motors to say I was not going to come see the car due to the weather and the gentleman on the phone said this is the best time to buy a car, ill pull it in the garage and you can come check it out. So I did. When I arrived at Commonwealth I observed the owner on the floor as well as several other sales reps. I was Greeted by Kevin Peterson who asked if he could be of any assistance. I told him what I had seen on line he asked me to have a seat and within the next 10 mins I was in the car and the deal was sealed. A most gracious and professional car buying experience. Kevin assisted me with the purchase process and at no time was I left with any questions, he was very thorough , patient and professional. I would high recommend this store and Kevin Peterson to anyone who is looking for a vehicle.

We did NOT feel like we were treated as valued customers. Poor service and experience with Sales Manager Charles Daher who ignored our emails regarding the sales person. Jim Kowalik was not very honest. He missed appointments and phone calls. Also made promises that he failed to follow through with. We do NOT recommend to work with this dealership!

The only way I could be happier is if I'd gotten the vehicle for free. Song was great. I shopped a TON of dealers and lots looking for just the right bargain, so I dealt with a lot of salespeople before meeting him. He was more thorough, prompt, and friendly than any other I dealt with in my search. As for the vehicle, I'm not convinced the "detailing" folks were on their game that day (still crud stuck to the insides of the cup holders from previous owners, for example) but that's trivial and I'm entirely satisfied with the price I paid for the vehicle I got.

I heard about the dealership through some friends of mine who told me it is the biggest dealership in town. I was able to buy a Chevy Equinox with the specification I wanted and I was given a price in between my budget. Chris was very helpful, gave me all the information I asked for and helped me throughout the process. He also made it an easy process for me to get the car. I was happy with the service.

Oil change and tire rotation. Technician never reset the oil gauge. More importantly he did not tighten the wheel on the front right passanger side of the car. After driving noticed a noise and took the car to a mechanic. The mechanic test drove the car, also heard the noise and put the car up on the left. He found that the wheel was loose and told me I WAS LUCKY THAT I HADN'T BEEN KILLED! THE LUGNUTS COULD BE TURNED BY HAND THEY WERE SO LOOSE. This was supposedly with a 27 point safety inspection OMG. Also needed new wipers, which wasn't found on the inspection.

From beginning to end there staff is excellent. Jennifer Gomes was right on top of things with all the info that I needed. Which in my eyes started with great customer service from her. I am a busness owner and run a customer service department myself. So with her freindly care knowledge and time she got me there. That is a hard thing to do for some one who knows great service. Paul Kazalski took care of me very well with all my questions ( I am sure my many phone calls where annoying ) with quick answers. Bought a Subaru here back in December of 2011. After driving it for about 5 months, I began having very serious engine troubles. They did not back this car yet nickled and dimed me everytime I visited them for repair. They bought this car at auction, this car was a lemon. I owned it 6 months and had to get rid of it and it literally cost me thousands to get into another car. I now have two car payments and one car. They sell horrible used cars with inflated - limited warranty's that do nothing. I would never ever ever shop them again and do not recommend them at all, they are ruthless.

Purchased my Silverado here and have always taken it here. The sales department is great and I have had a good experience. They are always able to answer my questions promptly. The service department is ok. I have had some ok experiences. Sometimes there are miscalculations on the total price for the service. Some employees should take more time to prevent mistakes and become more customer friendly. The mechanical service itself is great I have no complaints.

I was dreading buying a new car; 100% dreading it. It had been just about 10 years since my last car purchase, and I wasn't looking forward to the experience again. Pushy salespeople, TELLING you what YOU want; not my cup of tea. I wanted the transaction to be quick and painless as possible (as painless as a $300/month car payment can be), but wasn't very hopeful. Luckily, I chose Commonwealth Motors. Steve, my salesman, was nice, polite and very accommodating. I test drove 2 cars, the Malibu and the Equinox. I settled on the Equinox because 1: with NE winters, it's better in an SUV 2: I need a car that offers a higher seat, due to arthritis. It is much larger than my trade-in crossover, but it's good for long term.All in all, I bought the car that day, a Saturday, and it was ready for pickup, all registered with new plates by 4pm on Monday. Painless car-buying experience if you ask me.I gave such a good rating because they took the "ugh" out of my thoughts on car shopping.

Buying a car was a family event. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by our salesman. He answered every question we had. He was never pushy and never tried to "hard sell" us on any car. We were looking at Sonics, but I wanted the My Link radio system in the car. None of the cars on the lot had this, so they searched other dealerships and I was able to get the car I wanted.Everyone was very friendly, professional, and helpful. This included offering us snacks and coffee, and pointing us to the nearest McDonalds when the kids got hungry.The price of the car couldn't have been better, and the price I got for my trade in was more than fair. I never felt like I was cheated.Overall, our experience at Commonwealth Motors was very positive. I would recommend them to anyone.

On 03/16/2012, I purchased a 2012 Impala. When I bought the car ,I did not notice that the car did not have on-star or sirius xm radio.When I inquired about this,I was told the car was a previous rental car that did not these items. When I told the managment about this and the advertising, they immediate put these items in my car,even thou, they did not have to. The management and the sales and service depts. were excellent in working with me to solve these problems. I am very glad that I went to this dealership and will continue to have my vehicle service by their sevice dept. P.S. From the minute we met with sales rep Chris Drew we felt very comfortable. He asked us if we had a car in mind and began showing us around the different styles. This was our first day shopping for a new car and we left there with the purchase. He asked us our needs and did not try to "push" anything else on us. I have been going to this dealership for many years through buying and having service done. The employees at the service department are the best that I have ever seen. You don't have to make appt for your service and if they have to order parts they will and call you when they come in. They are always on top of the recalls. I didn't know that I had a recall when I went to pay for the service they told me and said will call when the part comes in. I may pay more to do this kind of service than going somewhere else but I always know that they will guantee their work. I would recommend this service department to anyone. GREAT JOB

My (my son's) car needed to have winter tires put on, and an oil change. As part of their inspection, they found a damaged control arm that needed replacing. That explains the wobbly feeling in the front end. They took the car right in and fixed what was needed at a very reasonable price. The quality of work was great; never a worry when they work on your car. Will definitely return for service in the future.

From the time we walked in the door we were greeted with friendly and professional service. Steve and Frank was so happy and made us feel so comfortable and happy we choose them. They were so informative and willing to answer any questions we had. We also were treated with respect and not rushed at all. We were there most of the day and the they kept us informed at all times about our purchase and processes our application.When it was time for us to sign all the papers Gene in credit was so helpful and knowledgeable and explained everything to us so we understood it all before we signed any documents.One last thing if we ever need to purchase another car we would difinately go to them again. I dealt with Gary Kotyla (sale) and Jamie Dimare (financing). Gary was not only friendly, but knowledgeable with all questions I had. Anything he did not know, he used his resources to get. He made sure that my experience went as seamless as possible. Jamie worked with me on the financing and went above and beyond to get me the best rate and monthly payment. I was prepared to come in with my own financing, but Jamie made it an easy decision to work through him. Hands down, the best car buying experience I have ever had. I have been with Commonwealth Motors for 17 yrs and could not go any other place to buy a car. This is my 7th new car with Commonwealth and I feel like family whenever I go for a new car or for service. Everything is for the customer's satisfaction. All dealerships should take notice. Let me start by saying, I have already recommended this dealership to my family and friends, and will continue too. It is obviously stressful in every aspect of purchasing a new vehicle, it was like having another job at points. I had searched high and low, for about a month, traveling as far as Bow, Nh. to Cheshire, CT. I had found a few vehicles I could have seen myself driving too, however they didn't work out for numerous reasons. One of my family members then had recommended Commonwealth Chevy, and I was expecting it to be the same as the rest of the dealerships I had visited. To my suprise this dealership was by far the best, hands down. I had worked with Frank Deneu, and want to give credit when credit is due. Frank helped me in every way, he walked me through every step, he was honest with me and gave me the BEST price, and I mean BEST PRICE out there. I also worked with Adam Tsoukaris, and he was nothing but delightful and also helped me. They both made it a point that if I needed anything, at all, they were my go-to guys. I also wanted to say the rest of the team(staff) did a fantastic job, making this enjoyable. Everybody in that dealership worked together and thats an important quality to have as a whole. When i arrived to the dealership early, all sales assocaties where leaving for a meeting but Jim Kawalik stopped and took the time to help me with all my questions. Jim was very informative on the test ride and explained all the options very carefully. I truly understood what i was getting for my money. No pressure. He was customer friendly and worked with me to get the truck of my choice. I also worked with James Dimare, the business manger. He was very helpful and made it a very smooth transaction. Father and I went to Commonwealth to look at the Chevy Camaro. Kevin came out to greet us. He was very helpful. We ended up purchasing a 2013 camaro and my father is very help with it. He showed us the service department and setup an appointment for us to get an inspection sticker. He called us as soon as the registration was ready. The sales team is much better then Deluca chevy which is in five minutes from my house.

When I first visited Commonwealth Motors I was not intending on purchasing a vehicle. I knew I would be buying a new SUV soon, so I just wanted to start looking at options. I met with Jim and explained that I was just looking and the only other place I had been was on the Internet. I knew what specific SUVs were selling for so now I just wanted to get a feel for how they looked and drove. I took an Equinox out for a test drive with Jim and liked the way it felt.When we returned to the dealership I expected a hard sell but was surprised on how the conversion went. It was more me asking questions and Jim just answering those questions. I figured I would take the opportunity to see what my old SUV was worth. Because of scheduling, the service manager who usually values trade-ins was not in. Jim drove my car down the street to one of their other dealerships so that I could get a price that day. They gave me a very fair price for the trade-in which allowed me to take the next step. It was a quick offer an acceptance, the easiest and quickest deal I ever made which I feel was fair to both sides.I am now the happy owner of a new Chevrolet Equinox. I have been buying new vehicles for over 40 years and this was by far the best experience. I would recommend Jim and Commonwealth Motors to anyone looking at buying a new, or even used, car or truck.

My salesman was Steve Federico, very pleasant to deal with he made the process of buying a new truck easy. I visited the dealership with my parents who were looking for a used second car for themselves. After a day of countless dealerships that were looking more for a commission on a sale as opposed to what my parents needed in a car for what they could afford. We decided to visit Commonwealth to see if they could live up to their slogan. Well, they didn't live up to it...they exceeded it. My reason for writing this review? I, who was not in the market for a car at the time, fell in love with a car my parents test drove but weren't sure about. Needless to say, Jim's understanding and laid back, non pushy approach made it so that not only did my parents find a vehicle that day, but I ended up signing papers for the car I fell in love with, but feared I could not afford. I won't shop anywhere else for my vehicle needs as long as Mr. Kowalik is selling vehicles. I recommend his service to everyone who compliments my choice of vehicle! I miss my old car, but am falling in love with the newer one each minute I drive her! All thanks to Jim!

My daughter and I were able to purchase a used Ford Tauras 7 sitter which we so desperately needed for the children. My sales person was Jim Kowalik who is not listed above. Jim's ways of dealing with customers makes them feel that he is there for them and is there to help them in anyway that he can. I test drove two vechiles and I enjoyed the company of Jim. He took the time to go over every thing about both vechiles and we discussed the optinos together. When it came to the finacing part I dealt with Richie Pulsifer and Jamie Dimare who also took the time to get the loan approved and kept me informed each day on what was happening. I have been in the customer service business for over 30 years myself and I must say that Richie Pulsifer is the most professional and courteous sales manager that I have had the pleasure of working with, not just in the car business, but in any industry! He makes you feel like you are the only customer that matters - he is focused and determined to help make buying a car a pleasure versus a heartache. He is the role model of how a car sales transaction should take place! His intellectual horsepower and knowledge of the car business is amazing! There was not one question he could not answer and he often made good suggestions, unsolicited, as to how we could make things work in the easiest and most economical fashion. No other company could match the prices at Commonwealth Motors and no one could match the integrity and work ethic of Richie Pulsifer. Let me tell you our story: My brother was in the market for a high end used vehicle and one phone call to Richie was all it took for him to get the ball rolling. I warned Richie that my brother was not the easiest buyer, since he had some credit rating challenges and his current car was under water. Richie remained optimistic and upbeat throughout the entire transaction, never making my brother feel like he could not purchase a car from Commonwealth Motors due to his credit ratings - he simply said "We will get you what you are looking for, don't worry about a thing, we will make it work for your needs". Richie had his finance colleague, Jamie, help my brother to keep a monthly payment he could afford while taking care of all the paperwork. Richie provided a loaner to my brother so he could get home (his current car had stopped working on the side of the road en route to the dealership). Richie continued to work on behalf of my brother on his day off, going so far as to drive to my brother's Financial Advisor in Portsmouth, NH to pick up a check. He did this out of the goodness of his heart, to save my brother a trip - who does this kind of thing? Richie Pulsifer, that's who! We were in need of a truck and needed one quickly. Commonwealth was the 2nd dealership we visited, and the last. Their motto is true...Shop us Last! We arrived at the Chevy Dealer 30 minutes before closing, if I remember correctly closing time was 5pm. Al, Richie and Rich stayed with us until 7. We looked around the lot at new and used cars. My husband told Al what we were looking for and what we could afford to spend. What we wanted was out of our price range, a new Chevy Tahoe. We knew it would be hard to find a Tahoe for the right price, with a good year and good miles. In our minds pickups were a possibility also. The guys brought us into the show room, and I remember thinking "why are we looking in here?" haha They showed us a 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500. I don't remember if it was a dealer's special, but the truck had a tono cover, the bed was lined, and the truck had beautiful rims. They were taking $10,000 off the asking price, which brought us in range of what we wanted to spend. It wasn't long after looking at the truck and checking out what our monthly payment would be, that we signed our name's on the dotted line. We also traded in our Chevy Trailblazer which took a good little chunk off the price also. Thing was, we were refinancing our house and couldn't have our credit pulled til we closed. The guys understood and didn't give us a hard time at all. They agreed to pull our credit once we called and gave them the ok too. We have an electrical break for our camper and they had no problem installing that in our new truck. They went along with what we needed and didn't jeopardize our closing. I think 2 days passed and we went and picked up our brand new truck. The next Monday we brought the truck back to have the seats scotch guarded, the sticker and registration done. It all went smoothly. Commonwealth called us 3 times after we bought our truck. The first call was to check in on us, to make sure we were happy with our purchase. The second call was from the service depo, making sure the work they did was to our satisfactory. And the third call was from Kimberly Daher, welcoming us to the Commonwealth family. We also received cookies from the dealership. We couldn't be happier with Commonwealth motors!

This Rating is based on the wonderful treatment my husband and I have received at your chevy dealership recently. It started with your service team Steve Brajak (sp) recommended your dealership service department to me when he had heard from my father all the problems I was having with my 2009 Saturn Aura. I bought the Saturn at Saturn of Lowell, once Saturn was no more they sent my service to Lannon Chevy of Lowell. I had the Aura in the Lannon dealership 9 times for the same electrical type problem. Steve told me he was confident commonwealth could fix my car. Unfortunately, although they tried several times they were unable to solve my problem. This had become a safety issue since the car would lose power, this was especially difficult when it did this on the highway. Doug Niles stepped in and tried to contact General Motors about my problem and what could they do to help me since it appeared I would have to buy a new car. Unfortunately General Motors does not stand behind their several thousand dollar product even though it was still under warranty. I purchased a 2012 Chevy Cruze and I love it. I do want to applaud Steve Brajak, Paul Hickey, Adam Tsoukaris, and Doug Niles of the service department. I also would like to applaud Jim Kowalik, Richie Pulsifer and Jamie DiMarie of the sales team for bending over backwards to help me in this difficult situation. As much as I hate buying a car this was indeed my best experience and all my sales and services will be done at commonwealth Chevy. So please let it be known that your chevy sales and service team are fantastic.

I brought my car in on March 31 for a sticker on a Sat afternoon. I was treated respectably and promptly. I expected quite a wait as it was the last day of the month. I was out of the dealership in about an hour. The service area was very comfortable and the coffee was fresh.

2012 Avalanche sticker price 57K. When the vehicle was "re-conned", or prepped for delivery, the swirling in the paint finish was so bad I would not accept it. Was told by manager that "black is hard". When I asked him to look at it after I demanded they did it again, he slapped his paperwork on his desk and told me he has other things to do. I finally got him to look at the flaws on the vehicle and he told me there's nothing else he could do for me and he would get the owner involved. He told me he had a meeting with the owner tomorrow, 2/23/12 in morning and he would make the arrangements to make an appointment for me to meet the owner, or the owner would contact me directly. I haven't heard from anyone. As a matter of fact I think this is a common problem for this dealership... No one ever called me to get my inspection sticker, so I called on the seventh day to get it done so I wouldn't get a ticket. I had to wait for two people in front of me before my sticker could be done. Guess who one of those people where? Steve the salesman, in his plain clothes getting his personal vehicle inspected ahead of me. Thanks bud, now that's putting the customer first!I just want what I paid for and to be treated with respect. This is the fifth new vehicle I've purchased and I've never had this feeeling of being a victim. Usually the dealership wants you to go and spread the good word. I have had significant ELectrical type problems with my 2009 Saturn Aura, I had taken it to a different dealership 8 times, 2 times this week alone, and I still had the problem. So on Friday March 9, 2012 I brought the car to Commomwealth Cheverolet to see if they could help me. From the beginning I felt Paul listened to what I said the symptoms of the car were. They fixed the car I got it back Saturday Afternoon and the staff was pleasant, explained what what wrong and fixed my car.

As the purching agent for my company I am involved in the aquisition of many vehicles, new as well as used. Over the past 14 years I have purchased no less than 35 vehicles and know all the tricks, scams and BS. I must say this was definately one of the better experiences I have had.We are undergoing a large construction project at my company and needed an inexpensive 4x4 pick-up and found a used 08 Silverado with high milage but in exceptionally good condition. I had noticed that the price online was $11,995.00. After reading the "fine print" as I suspected the advertised price included $2000 trade. I don't like when dealers do this as I feel it's misleading. For this reason alone I was skeptical about even going down there. Other than that I found the people there very friendly and not at all sleezy. I'm guessing the employes I dealt with don't make decisions as to how to market and advertise the price of their vehicles. The bottom line is that I was able to purchase a very solid vehicle at a reasonable price with outstanding customer service all around. I still don't like that the advertised prices include cash or trade in values but the overall experience was so positive that I will definately look here again for future vehicles our company requires.

I had a great experience with my new purchase. Everything was top notch. They had large inventory of vehicles to choose from. Lamar was awesome. I went to Commonwealth because of a radio ad i heard about a great special on chevy Silverados. When my wife and I showed up there we were greeted right away and were giving the proper time and attention to make sure we got the right vehicle for us. Our salesman Ed Long was great. He answered all of our questions and NEVER pressured us to make a decision. After just a couple days we drove home our brand new 2011 Chevy Silverado!!

they are great! I wouldn't go anywhere else. Every time i go I know that I won't leave disappointed. They always do a great job on my oil changes and they always check my car after every single one. I went to Vavoline once with my old car and I drove it all the way home only to have all the oil leak out of the bottom onto my driveway. They broke the hose. I never ever had an issue with Commonwealth. Also I think the waiting room is very inviting and i don't hate sitting there waiting for my car to be fixed.

Until I bought my 2009 Chevy Colorado Pick Up, I had never dealt with Commonwealth Motors. I am glad that I did. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. The availability to drive in unscheduled for an oil change is a great convenience. The technicians advise you if they see something of concern and then you taken to the vehicle and shown the problem and options are provided before any work is done. Because of this great service, I will be looking to Commonwealth for a replacement of my wife's car within the next year.

The service department was excellent about contacting me before completing any work to the vehicle to ensure that I wanted the work done. They provided me with suggestions on what else needed to be replaced in order to prevent future problems.

The welcome I received at the showroom was prompt and courteous. I was very happy with the sales rep. Nick Tziolis. He explained all the features of my new Equinox and let me test drive two vehicles. The trade in value we received for two vehicles was very fair and the sales manager also gave us a $1000.00 credit that he found because we traded in a Saturn. The car was ready on time and I also use their service dept. which is excellent.

Lemar Mclaughlin was one of the nicest salesmen I have experienced. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable asking him questions and felt confident that he was being honest with me. The customer service was outstanding. K. Pelletier did not pressure me into buying anything I didn't want. She explained the options that were available but didn't try to talk me into anything.I had researched the price online prior to going to the dealership. When I went to the dealership, I told them what I wanted to pay and got a vehicle of slightly higher quality at the price I wanted to pay.

I brought my Silverado in for an estimate due to noise in front. at time of drop off was told would be called for price and give okay to do the work. I was called with a price of $1400.00 for a wheel bearing and axle seals leaking. Was quoted a price half of that from local auto mehanic. When informing dealership that i couldnt afford that and would have to go with heaper mechanic, they still had the nerve to charge me $95.00 to tell me what the problem was. When speaking with service manager he said would i do work for free. I said if it was a estimate...YES! He then shrugged his shoulders in a oh well manner and said his mechanic spent a hour diagnosing the problem. I replied so if it took him 5 hours and i decided not to get the work done here would it have cost me $500.00 he had no response. I had to pay the money for they where holding my keys. I would not recommend this dealership for service. They charge way too much for labor. they claim parts are expensive when they mark up parts from cost they get it for and you and me the consumer ends up paying thru the nose. All the money that they make with these ridiculous prices for parts and labor they couldnt have parted ways with no cost. is that not the point of a estimate. So buyer beware of this. If you bring your vehicle in for service and decide to not have them do the work they will still charge you $95.00 for nothing.

I purchased a new car from Commonwealth Motors in 1996 and 14 years later when my car finally died, I purchased another new car from them. They are always friendly and provide great customer service. I will go back when it is time to buy my next car.

Brought my car in for service for a known steering problem GM has not issued a recall for. I had the problem during warranty, and it was fixed at that time at no charge. At 60K I did not expect much, but Commonwealth supplied the part at no charge and only charged me an hour labor to install. They consistently meet my expectations and I have never had to bring back any car for work not done properly.

From the get-go it was obvious that they are concerned with making the customer happy - my sales person did a great job finding a car that was suitable to my desires. Was greated by salesman who was busy but offered to get help. After seeing a car that Iliked, went inside, was greeted by a G.M who immediately got Steve to assist me. He immediately intrduced himself[ with a great smile],asked some questions about my wants. Itold him the car thatIliked and we went for a ride. Very friendly and Knowledgable about the Malibu that we were riding. When we came back Ireally did not want to buy that day. However, he proved to be very pleasant but persistent...a very very good negotiator. thanks to his determination Ihave a new Malibu at an extremely good price. We were having trouble with the braking system of our car. We did not know what was wrong. It had been giving us trouble on and off for a few weeks. We took it to the repair shop when it was happening and they knew immediately that something was wrong. They kept the car and pinpointed the problem. They repaired it in no time and it is working fine now. The guys in this shop are fantastic. They care about the customers and are always very helpful. We will definitely return for any service we need.

I am very impressed with the service dept. at Commonwealth motors. My 1985 Corvette was running rough, I called,and Paul Hickey ( service advisor) told me to bring it in first thing this morning.I was quoted right off the bat for a diagnosis. I waited in a very comfortable waiting area with coffee,tea and cookies and a movie to watch.After an hour or so, a service advisor came into the waiting area and told me what the problem was,quoted me for the repair and said could be done same day but parts would have to be brought in.Commonwealth Motors took me home and when the repair was complete, came to my home and brought me back to collect my car.Outstanding. I will be a regular customer because of the high level of service by highly experienced auto technicians and service advisors. Great job..

I was very satisfied with my visit. Nicholas was very informative about the car. He was very friendly and patient with me. Karen was very kind and patient with me especially with everything we had to go through in order to make the deal. I was very happy that Commonwealth Chevrolet did what it could in order to help me get the vehicle I wanted. They staff were very nice people and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.The only negative thing I would have to say about the dealership was on the website there is nothing on the main search page indicating that the prices listed were the prices after a trade in. I went there expecting one price but discovered it was more more expensive. But in the end Commonwealth did what it could in order to make the vehicle affordable to me and for that I was very great full.

Had a really great experience in purchasing a 2011 Z71 Silverado Crew CabEd Long had a vehicle waiting for me when I arrived at our appointment. Within 30 Minutes we had swiched the vehicle out for a more appropriate one and within an hour or two the deal was done.The after purchase Customer service was great. The service department was very responsive with the sticker ...allowing me to wait with the truck rather than pull my two kids out of the car seats.I did my homework before going to Commonwealth and the Sales Mgr responded to information I brought with me getting to the appropriate price without a lot of difficulty.I would recommned this dealership and look forward to my next purchase

Dealership went out of their way to make sure I got the truck I wanted for the price that I wanted to pay. I was a a tough customer for Richard as I changed colors about three times on my truck, once even after we started doing the paperwork but it was never a problem. Same day oil change service w/o an appointment is never a problem. Generally,finished within 1 hour. Pleasant waiting room with a movie always running. Price for my diesel engine oil change is very competitive with the oil change franchises. Fuel filter changes are much easier than doing it myself.

My husband and I "Shopped Commonwealth Last" for our NEW CAMARO SS! We could not have had a better experience. We did not feel "haggled" by our sales person Lamar. We got straight answers and an amazing price. The finance guy Bobby was also really patient and explained everything to us in detail. I also really liked the Manager Brian. They all seemed very happy for us as we drove away in our life long dream muscle car. The excellent customer service continues even after purchase. When I went in for an inspection sticker, Lamar sat in the car with me and helped me understand and operate the Blue Tooth, and custom setting for the car. After many dealership experiences, finally one I highly recommend.

My experience with Commonwealth Motors was excellent! I purchased my Mitsubishi through Commonwealth Motors 7 1/2 years ago and over the years have used their service department multiple times for my Endeavor. When it came time to purchase a new SUV, I turned to Commonwealth Chevrolet after a bad experience with another local Chvy dealership. From my initial dealings with Ed Long, the Internet Sales manager, when I inquired about pricing on a 2011 Traverse AWD 1LT, to the sales experience and working with Bobby Barry, the Business Manager, I was treated exceptionally. They were able to meet my needs on car price and trade in of my current vehicle and I am EXTREMELY happy! I would recommend Commonwealth Motors to anyone and plan on continuing to use their outstanding service department to service my new Chevy Traverse.

This was my first visit to this dealership for service on my 2004 Chevy Malibu. I was having trouble with power steering. The gentleman who handled everything was veryfriendy. He told us the price for diagnostics and said if a repair was done the amountwould be taken off the price of repair. They called as soon as they knew what was wrong and gave us the price for the repair. They did the repair and notified us as soon as it was completed. We are very happy with the time frame of the repair and the professionalizm of the repair personal. We will definitely return there for future repairs.

the service department was friendly and helpful. at one point i told them about an issue with the stearing and they looked up the car and found there was a recall for a part that had to do with it and helped me with what i needed to do. only real issue i had was the price board was a little confusing but it wasnt too bad

On 10-05-10, my wife had a 0900 appointment for our 2003 Chevy Impala, with 66k miles, for oil, oil filter, lube, and battery test.She told me, they were very friendly, just like the many times before. We have purchased 4 Chevies at Commonwealth MotorsThe alert tech found a license bulb faulty. When they replaced the battery, all the settings for radio, clock, and drivers door lock, were lost. If they had used a 9 volt battery, plugged into cigar lighter, before disconnecting the battery, the settings would have not been deleted. That was the only "work" I found fault with.If they had prevented all the settings from being lost, when replacing batteries, they would make more customers,"very happy campers"

My service visit at Commonwealth Motors was a great experience. Service Manager Paul, listened carefully to my problem, explained what needed to be done, and ordered the parts. He made sure the job wasn't lost in the shuffle. Then Michael Distefano professionally and politely handled the car on the follow-up visit to finish the automobile. The vehicle was returned to me quite satisfactorily. I always feel like part of the family when I go in for Commonwealth's service.

They always have a Corvette that I wish I had for a 24 hour excursion. I would recommend this dealership for purchases and service.

We acctually went to another dealer first who I caught lying to me about finance rates, when it got to the third lie I asked for our deposit back and called commonwealth. They found the truck we wanted for a fabulous price. I have been in the union 30 yrs, commonwealth also gave me the bed liner for a huge discount!! We wil1 shop them first for our next vehicle!!!

I was a little stressed and didn't want to purchase a car but had to after mine was hit by another driver and totaled. I had used Commonwealth Motors to purchase that car and the experience was very good; so, I decided to give them another try. I did an internet search first to check out possible cars and prices from other dealers and then contacted Commonwealth by email and the response was quick. I got the information I asked for right away along with more reasonable prices.Lamar McLaughlin was not only down-to-earth, but very understanding of my needs and finances. There wasn't any pressure, he listened to what I had to say, heard my concerns and gave me all the time I needed to make the decision that was right for me.I did not feel that his goal was to make the current sale. This was the fourth car I have purchased in 10 years due to my increasing family size (4 daughters). We called Commonwealth after receiving a quote from another dealership to trade in out 2007 Suburban to make sure we had gotten the best deal (we didn't think so...) and we were right! When we called, we were fortunate to speak to Lamar on the phone. We came to Commonwealth that day.....and purchased our new car within the hour. I have never been so impressed with a dealership. Every single employee that we interacted with was absolutely amazing. Lamar was honest and fair and when he went to "work the numbers" he told us that he would give us the best possible price without the game of haggling. It was so refreshing. Not only was the monthly payment $50.00 less than the other dealership, this car had more features like a back up camera, back up sensors, the rear DVD player and more. It was unbelievable. The car had to be shipped from NY and true to his word, Lamar kept us updated on the progress and called us often to tell us where the car was and when it would be ready. This was particularly important because we were driving to Disney and needed the car to be ready in time. The DVD system had to be installed and Lamar was persistent and made sure the car was ready and perfect on the day promised. When we went in to do the paperwork, we worked with a woman named Karen who was also unbelievable. She made sure we had everything we needed (like GAP insurance) and made it fit into our monthly payment so we would be covered in case of an accident. I literally wanted to cry she was so nice and helpful and really took care of us. I brought the car in once for service for something related to the installation of the DVD player (Commonwealth had nothing to do with it). They asked me WHEN I would like to bring it in...made the appointment, took me immediately and fixed the problem. It was the best customer service I have ever received. Lamar heard we were there, he came to the service department to say "hello" and make sure everything was OK. Likewise, other employees that had seen us there when we were buying the car, saw us and REMEMBERED us and our girls and were so friendly. This place is unbelievable.I have recommended this dealership to all of my family and friends and will NEVER buy a car from anywhere else. This is the most amazing and impressive dealership and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I purchased a 2010 Avalanche. I traded in my older one and love the truck. I had NO problems not one or any situations that were negative with this dealership or any sales person that I spoke too. MICHAEL WROTE UP THE PAPER WORK QUICKLY & EASILY & SAID IT SHOULD BE READY IN ABOUT 1 & 1/2 HR.I SAID CALL ME & I'LL PICK IT UP.LESS THAN 1 HR LATER I GOT HIS CALL & PICKED IT UP.CHECKED THE OIL & FILTER & EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!THIS IS THE 7TH CAR I'VE PURCHASED FROM COMMONWEALTH & HAVE HAD THEM SERVICE.THEY ARE GRREEAAAAATTTTTTTT!!!THANKS AGAINBOB

Everyone was so nice and made the process of buying a car very easy. Lamar walked us through it so that it was a really pleasant experience. He went over everything, from paper work to how to set the radio. I would happily tell anyone I know to go to Commonwealth Motors.

My experience was a few years ago, and I have not been back since. The salesman was Ed (a retired policeman)...so he said.Got to the point of making a deal, but when we went back outside the car door had been scratched. Ed said "dont worry" he would have the scratch buffed out so I would not even know it was there.Came back a few days later and something did not look right. Ed tried to bully me into taking the car, insisting he had other customers waiting for this very car. I did not want this car anymore. I found out later they had changed the door not buff it. (Ed lied to me about that, among his many other lies)Ed had already taken a $1000 deposit from me. He said I had to wait two weeks for the check to clear before I could get my money back. I checked with my bank a week later and the check had cleared back on the 2nd day after I turned down the car. Ed insisted I would still have to wait the full two weeks. After two weeks I call and ask Ed if the check is ready. He says yes, so I come in. Take time off from work to drive in, only to find the check has not been signed, and the guy that needs to sign it is out for three days. Three days later I take time off from work again, this time I'm told the check has to be signed by two people, and one of them is out today.By now I have spent hours online researching GM corporate to get the appropriate phone number and made a few calls to them. I even left a message on the dealership owner's machine about my unhappy experience.I just found dealrater.com this weekend. My experience with Commonwealth was so upsetting I remember all the details clearly to this day. I am so happy to be able to publish this now!!! It has been over 5 years and Ed is probably gone. But Brian still appears in the current ads. I'm sure he remembers me, am I right Brian?

I have taken my Impala to Commonwealth for its oil changes since it was new:Reasons #1 Cost I would be hard pressed to change the oil & filter myself for $22.88 #2 Service Fast, in and out in 30 minutes or less #3 Customer service Very clean waiting area. Coffee always available. #4 Friendliness Everyone there greets you with a smile and a big Hello #5 Overall Experience WONDERFUL nead I say more. I have recomended this dealership to many people and will continue to do so.

They were EXTREMELY easy to deal with. No pressure, no hassles. I bought exactly what I wanted for the price that I thought was very fair. The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the car and the management was very willing to accomodate my needs.

I shopped this dealership because I know Brian. When I contacted him he was eager to help and immediately sent me info on 6 or 7 vehicles. There was never any "hard selling" or any pressure to buy. I was given a range for my trade-in over the phone and when I brought the trade-in to them to inspect they stayed within that range. I had the dealer install heated seats and remote start. Both operate like they came with the vehicle. I definitely recomend these guys.

Found myself with a 05 Aveo with a dead transmission, owed 2300.00 on it still. Was running great until then. Now no car, not planning on buying, and my only trade in is dead as well. I called Commonwealth and spoke to Brian Hesse, explained my situation and he told me come down. He hooked me up to Alex and with absolutley no pressure at all, Alex simply showed me all they had, did not point me in any directions let me decide what I felt was best for me as a vehicle. After I decided what vehicle I wanted he then sat down and provided (very quickly) a list of options and payments plans. I found one I liked and thought was more then fair and within 30 minutes I had gone from not knowing what to do to being all set. It did not end there, we (my wife and I) had to sit with the Financial manager Hiram Cruz. My fear was here comes the high pressure to purchase warranties, payments doubling, cash down going up etc. All my fears where for not, Hiram did sell me a extended warranty but with a better deal on financing it cost me only $1.00 more HONEST! Even with this it was very quick and painless. I have bought all my cars from Commonwealth and will as long as I drive. Their motto is shop us last you'll love us, maybe it should be shop us first no one can compare!

Ordered a brand new 2010 Camaro from Commonwealth Motors and could not be more pleased with the experience especially for a new car buyer. I dealt with the sales manager directly when ordering and the car was delivered in beautiful condition with no problems. Got very good pricing on the vehicle and they have made me a lifetime buyer from them in the future. Also the finance department did an extremely good job with finding me a very good interest rate that banks didnt give me in these hard econimic times even with my great credit history.

My trade-in value was right on par with blue book averages. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Worked with me and around my work schedule conveniently. They made sure I could get into the car that I wanted for a reasonable price that I could afford.

I had such a positive experience purchasing a Brand New 2010 Chevrolet Malibu on Feb 14, 2010. from the sales team, Carlos Diaz to Finance Mr Hesse and Hiram . Extremely knowledgable about the Chevrolet Malibu to the great price I got on my trade in that I had originally purchased from Commonwealth back in 2002. I was working with Brian Hesse thru emails and he told me of a few good deals going on, he gave me the price and it was the price when all was said and done. He was upfront and honest thru the whole process. I then dealt with Mike Ortiz and I got the same great treatment from him as I did with Brian. I also got a call from Mike two days after picking up the vehicle to see how I liked it and if I needed anything to give him a call. That's the kind of treatment most people want when making a big purchase like that, I wasn't pressured into making a purchase that day but the deal I got was too good to pass up. I purchased a 2009 Chevy Silverado extended cab WT and it was what I was looking for.Gordon

Very nolagable and helpful parts staff my 03 Malibu had abad ignithion switch would not turn or start sometimes. I told him the problem they showd m what the prblem was and gave me e few pointers but I took ther sudgetion and brught the car to the service department they instald the part in a timely Maner thank you so much now I'm never late for work and pike up the kids from school on time and never be sranded in a paking lot thanks to commonwealth Chevrolet

I recently bought my new Chevy Malibu at Commonwealth Motors in Lawrence, MA. I had the most wonderful experience from beginning to end. I was welcomed into the showroom by smiling faces ready to help. All of the employees were very knowledgable and were able to find me exactly what I was looking for in both looks and price. Commonwealth made it easy for a young girl to purchase her first vehicle. Towed my pickup to Commonwealth Motors. The service writer, Paul Hickey kept me informed during the difficult diagnosis. The truck had a fuel pump installed at another garage just six monts prior. Paul and his crew worked on my truck, repairing a wiring issue that lead to the new pump's failure. Since the parts were Genuine GM they were able to be warrantied , and they treated me fairly on the labor.Commonwealth was great in keeping me and my Chevy pickup on the road. Go there.

My family and friends have bought over 12 vehicles from Commonwealth Motors.We have always been treated great.The vehicles are always delivered clean and with a full tank of gas.Pricing and financing always goes smoothly.Service department is the best including friendly shuttle service.They say to shop them last but we find there is no need to go anywhere else.

Purchased from Commonwealth and Brian Hesse (Sales Manager, I believe). From the get-go there was no pressure. Brian was very easy to deal with and very honest. He found the car, optioned as we wanted, and brought to the dealership within 2 days. The whole process wasThe owner (Charlie) came out to see me off in our new Traverse. Always nice to see the owner being involved in a sale.Recommended.

Tried to buy a car. During the process we noticed another salesperson being screamed at and pushed by a large man who was later identified as Charlie (The Owner). I was with my wife and small children and the language was horrible. When he made eye contact with me he screamed "What are you looking at? If you don't like it here, get the (expletive) out" I feel very sorry for that other salesperson. Went to Deluca Chevrolet and was treated wonderfully. They were only 3-4 miles away. And guess what (no swearing or wrestling in the showroom).

We bought a new Monte Carlo and got screwed on the trade in. The sales person was very good and knowledgable though and we did not have any problem with him and he was not part of any of our problems. The issues we had was with their finance person who could not properly explain how all fees for trade in and the cost of the loan. This should have been a warning sign.Their total for the loan ended up being $7000 more than the car was worth. When we realised this we thought it would be possible to just talk to them about it and rectify it but that was naive. They did not want to talk about it.We contacted the state DA, Chevrolet and our loan company but no one was able to do anything. We also hired an attorney but they wouldn't listen to the attorney either even after several attempts. The only remaining option would be to sue them which we decided against. I have a feeling it's far from the first occasion they have screwed one of their customers.Unless you want to risk having same issues we had with them and end up paying on a loan for a car that is worth $7000 less than what your loan is for, I would stay clear from them at ALL costs.

I was recommended this dealership by a friend and was compeltely impressed. I was sent to see Jeff Allen and was greeted by another sales person who showed me around while jeff finished with a customer. I found jeff to be very knowlegeable along with the first guy who helped me. I got a great price, which i know my friend who recommmended me probably helped with, but either way the experience was hassle free and went smooth all the way through finance until i picked up the car.
