Had an awesome experience getting my new 2016 Jeep Compass. Keith was so helpful- showed me every option of the vehicle in detail and even took the time to make sure my daughters' car seat was properly installed. He was very willing to help and o appreciated his patience. Mark Cheever helped with finishing the paperwork and he did a great job explaining every step of the process. On Tuesday October 25th 2016 I purchased a 2012 Jeep Wrangler from this dealer. It appeared to be in good condition and had just over 30K miles on it. I was told it was just off lease. I had driven it the previous Saturday and didnt see an issue. On the way home I noticed a small clunking noise from the drivers side front. Having never owned this style of Wrangler before I thought maybe it was just characteristic of the vehicle. I had a friend drive it who also owns one and he confirmed the noise isnt suppose to be there. On Friday 3 days after purchasing it, I contacted my salesman who indicated for me to call service. I spoke with Jeremy in service who said that because the vehicle wasnt CPO they really couldnt look at it without charging me. He said he would talk to manager and get back to me, he never did. I then contacted my salesman again who said he would speak to manager and get back to me, he never did. I understand my vehicle was not CPO but it makes good business sense to stand behind what you sell for at least a short time if you want repeat customers. I had this issue 3 DAYS after giving them $25k dollars and they basically said not our problem Bad business practice and I will definitely do everything I can to help protect others from these people.

I knew which vehicle I wanted to test drive when I walked in the door. Kieth did not try to sway me towards an upgrade (well, he mentioned it but...). He was honest and listened to me. As a woman, I often feel uncomfortable when I walk into a dealership. At Contemporary, I didn't. I test drove the vehicle and was able to drive away with it in short order. I would definitely recommend this dealership- ask for Keith and tell him Pat sent you!!!

Purchased a 2016 Dodge Challenger, from the start I was impressed, received a personalized video from the sales associate in front of the car I was to look at the night before. I arrived the next morning, my salesman was waiting for me, greeted me we discussed what I was looking for, no pressure tactics. Made the deal, the Finanve Manager was awesome, the presentation during the closing was nothing like I had experienced at a dealership before, I highly recommend this dealership. Drew did get us a report from car fax and we found out about the owners. Then they said it had two keys but one turned out to be a non remote key we have to go to Ford to get a key maid for $275.00 that is the way they treated us.,

Our experience did not begin very well. My girlfriend and I drove from Boston and when we asked for the sales employee I had made an appointment with only to find out he had not come in that day. Taylor greeted us at the door and was immediately helpful. Unbeknownst to him a deposit had been placed on the used Wrangler we drove up to see, the employee I had been in contact with was the salesman listed. After driving that far and not being contacted about the deposit were about to walk out. Taylor understood our frustration and spoke with us about other options. We asked for him to take us out anyway in the Wrangler we drove up to see. A very personable, genuine guy Taylor made us feel much more comfortable continuing our discussion with the dealership, without him we would have ended it and walked away. Working with Taylor we decided to put a deposit on the vehicle in the chance that it were to become available again. We ended up purchasing the used Wrangler we wanted and Taylor made everything quite easy and offered to stay late the same day we signed papers so we could pick up the car. Several days later Taylor checked in with us to see how we were enjoying our new car. I have dealt with several dealerships before and not left with good things to say, but Taylor and Mike made this experience quite pleasant in the end.

I did a bunch of research on my car purchase before going to the dealer. I looked through local inventories, and, when (almost) all of my preferred features were listed on one Wrangler at Contemporary, I decided to take a trip over during the July 4th weekend. In less than five minutes of walking through the lot, the salesman, Keith, came over (no searching to find someone to help!), and this was hands-down the easiest process for buying a new car I've had. I didn't feel any pressure, he was great in pointing out all the cool features on the new lineup and he was more than accommodating when I had to drop my fiance off at work and come back to finalize the purchase. I actually wasn't even completely sure I would buy a car that day, but the level of customer service I received during the sale and the finance discussion and process there - not to mention that the car rides like a dream - convinced me that I will be in great hands with Contemporary as long as I have this car.

This was one of the quickest & painless car purchases I have ever made. I spoke with a Sales Manager named Brian about what I wanted & he ran all the numbers for me to see if a new purchase was within my budget. Once that was decided I went on my test drive while he started all of the paperwork for me. When I came back from a test drive he had Clayton take over, most of my paperwork was complete already and things moved along very quickly. When it came time to deal with the financing aspects, as always Mike was very informative about all the options I had & was very informative about each additional item I could possible add to my contract & why it may or may not be a good idea based upon my needs. Looking for a heavy duty truck. Went to Contemporary Ram in Milford NH. Met with Clayton Bogus, sales associate. Explained what I needed. He was very knowledgeable about the Ram line-up, and knew all of the features of every Ram they had on the lot. I was very impressed. Once I selected the vehicle, I dealt directly with the sales manager, Derek Eastman to negotiate the terms. Derek was extremely easy to work with, and really took care of me. After researching and visiting other Dodge dealerships in the area, we decided that a Dodge Durango would be the best vehicle for us. We were welcomed at Contemporary by salesman, Joe Pelletier. We explained to him that we were just in the beginning stages of our search and we wanted to check out a Durango. Joe showed us one , accompanied us on a test drive and spent much time explaining all the features and options available. Though we weren't quite ready to buy, we very much appreciated his input without any high pressure sales techniques. Many weeks later, when we finally made the decision to purchase the Durango, we returned to Contemporary after a very unsatisfactory visit to another local dealer. We asked, once again for Joe Pelletier. He spent much time with us again and he said we would be happy with our choice and he was 100% right. A little over a year ago we purchased a used Ford Ranger. Very nice truck. We told them that we could do a payment around $250.00 we ended up with a payment of $453.00. Big difference and that was the best they could do. We needed the truck so we purchased it. We purchased the tire warranty for $2000.00. The next few days we had to purchase a spare tire and tried to use the warranty. They told my husband that he didn't follow procedure and wouldn't reimburse him for the tire. He has talked to several people in service ( Mike ) and was told that it was taken care of and would receive a reimbursement check in the mail. Well, it's been over a year now and still no check. My husband has talked to the GM and the service manager more than 20 times each time being told to give it a week. Finally the GM told my husband that he won't write out a check and the service manager say's that he will send a check by Friday. It's been over 12 months and my husband is still getting the run around. xxx people DO what you say you will do and stop xxxxxxx my husband around. By the way my husband is disabled and can not drive because he's blind. I feel that Contemporary is taking advantage of him and it's not right. If he could see to drive you bet he would drive over there and get his check. We will never use this dealership again, ever! You should have kept Medlyns Motors as your dealer instead of Contemporary. At least Medlyns knew how to treat his customers.

For a while I had researched the type of vehicle I wanted. Once I realized what I wanted, I searched. Of all the dealerships I visited, Contemporary Chrysler had the car I was looking for at a reasonable price. It was my first time visiting the dealership and didnt intend on falling in love with the car on the first visit. I had my dog with me so when it came time to fill out paperwork my salesman offered to take my dog, Bella, for a walk. It was way above and beyond the call of duty for this sales person. After the paperwork was completed, I spent time on the phone with the dealership to finalize financing and picked up my new to me 2014 Ford Fusion. 14000 dollars 45 days later door broke something to do with the track 998 dollars to fix would not work with me at all told me i should have paid more for a warranty and was quick to point out a new car would have cost me 30,000 dollars.. this was on a 2013 not even 3 years old yet!!!!!

Contemporary started with a great offer through Truecar.com. And they dont just use Truecar as a sales lead generation tool--they believe in the process. Finalizing the sale was easy for them and for us. They offered a few extras: "Would you be interested in...", but did not do the typical pushy sales pitch for highly profitable dealer extras like paint protection, VIN etching, nitrogen tire fill, etc. Overall a pleasant and relaxed buying experience that made buying a car fun again.

To any potential customer:Before you read this review, I think you should know two things. 1. I live in Vermont, and this dealership is a three hour drive from my home. 2. I am retired, and spent 30 years in the car business here in Vermont.Let me simply say: his dealership has GOT IT RIGHT! I live about 1 hour away from this dealership. I called to inquire about a used car that I saw on their website. I was told that they are like a doctor's office and I have to make an appointment. I did make one and told them they I will be there in 2 hours or less. They said they will have the car in the front and ready for a test drive. When I got there I was told that the car I called about is not available but they have plenty of brand new ones for sale.They pulled a very old cheap trick that has given car salesman a bad reputation. I guess it can still happen in this day and age. Honesty still matters.

I recently leased a new Jeep from Contemporary and was very please with the sales experience. John told me he was "new" to the sales group and bent over backwards to make me comfortable and there was no pressure. If he could not answer a question he got me one in minutes. I finally made my choice of a Jeep Compass (love it). Since it took a few days to get me the one (color) I wanted, he delivered it to my house personally and went over everything. Very good experience with the sales department.

I went in knowing what I wanted and they had the vehicles I had requested online waiting for me. Ben was good to work with went on one test drive with us and let us take the 2nd vehicle out ourselves (which I like). I was worried there would be a lot of back and forth on the price, but they were very accommodating and we feel like we got everything we had hoped for. Left the dealership driving my new Jeep Cherokee. All in all a very smooth experience.

I was sent a promotional package so I looked on the website and saw a vehicle I liked. Filled out a request for more info and was contacted by email and phone to come in and see the vehicle. It happened to be the day before thanksgiving so I had to wait until after the holiday. Saturday stopped in to see the vehicle and they explained it was sold. They wanted me to test drive other vehicles. While I'm sitting with the sales person I receive an interesting call from their dealership another sales woman asking me to come in and test drive the vehicle I was interested in. I told her I was already there and was told the car was sold and she said sorry and hung up. I went over to the manager and told him that it was awful to bait and switch and he said his sales person didn't know what they were talking about and the system just wasn't updated. It's still listed online as well. I will never do business with such dishonest people. The Nissan Rogue listed on their website is a ghost car.... It doesn't exist.

After not getting anywhere with the dealer I purchased my 2011 Grand Cherokee from, I got in touch with Billy Jameson at Contemporary, and was told to bring it right in. In short order I was told that the power brake booster was leaking. Bill Freeman was able to find one and told me that my Jeep would be ready by the end of the day. The fact that it could be, and was done in one day (given that I basically just walked in), was great. The dealer I bought the Jeep from told me I was #154 in line and they could not get me in, even though I told them that my power brakes were not working. Every one that I dealt with at Contemporary was very friendly and courteous, from Bethany answering the phone, (not a recording like the dealership I purchased the Jeep from) to Billy getting my Jeep right in for service and to the job being completed in a matter of hours. My daughter found a 2011 jeep compass online and requested information and an appointment. I called the night before and spoke to Rachel and made an appointment for 7:00. They brag about being on time and saving you time by having the vehicle ready for you. In my email I offered a price and said not to reply if they were unable to match the price as we were driving a distance. Bethany assured me my offer was feasible. We drove an hour and a half prepared to buy this vehicle. We got there at 7:00 and was told Jay was busy with other customers, so Clayton was sent to tell us the vehicle we came to look at had been sold that afternoon and tried to talk us into a new one. He went on to say sometimes it takes a few days for them to remove the cars from the website. I thought you just sold it today Clayton? Such a DISHONEST dealership. No phone call to cancel, no courtesy at all. They should have offered to pay for gas. Its sad how far a dealer will go to make a sale. I would not recommend this dealership EVER.

Contemporary Dodge Jeep RamJay Coffey is a salesperson who got to know us and our need for a type of car and pointed us in the correct direction. Never pushed us to buy more than we could afford or point us to a car we could not use because it was the Deal of the Week Very calm, let us have time to make a decision on the car and was very knowledgeable of all the paperwork. We also had a time limit and he kept to it.Cory Luba was the person who looked at our trade in. He was very fair on the price he gave us for the trade. Did no.t undercut the price. Very fair evaluation. Explained why he came up with the price without saying we had a bad car to trade. VERY PROFESSIONAL.Mike Leblanc was a finance wiz. He found us the best rate on the market he could. Showed us options for other things but did not push them. We declined most but did get an extended warranty. very little impact on my price. Come to find out he knew where we lived and knew one of our children. He also kept to a time line because we had a 4 year old with us. Excellent experience.

Jay Coffey was friendly and helpful on our sale and with it being the latter of the day he stayed late to get things done and made our lease happen. Corey Luba was extremely friendly and helped us out as much as he could also stayed late to make sure everything was taken care of and gave us a great lease price with no out of pocket expenses. Mike Leblanc had made the financing super quick and easy, I think that was the fastest paperwork I have ever had to sign. Easily the best experience I have had with any dealership. I look forward to coming back, rather than dreading it. I'm a young guy and this isn't my first car. I've been to other dealerships and been shrugged off and told I was too young to buy one. The sales staff are great at contemporary. My sales guy, Jay, was super helpful and informative. He gave me updates VIA text which was perfect. The sales managers are top notch guys too, they really add a nice touch to the experience. Also, the GM of the dealership is great! He really cares about helping the customer because he knows it will earn him more business. Well, he's right! I'll be going back for another car soon. I was sent here by a friend of his and when they stated he would work me I was skeptical due to previous dealership experiences. They weren't lying. I got more than I figured for my trade in and I paid a really good price for my new car.The Financial manager was fantastic. Mike really works with you and helps to put things through. He helped to get just my name on the title. They also allowed me some leighway while I transferred my residency to NH from PA.Five stars overall.

First off, I had outstanding service from the Sales Department when buying the vehicle from Mark. He did a great job delivering the vehicle. He did follow up several times with me regarding Unconnect issues, which have never been resolved. I spoke to him a couple weeks before scheduling my oil change and he said to keep a list of all the little issues/quirks and have the service department address them during my first oil change.I called and scheduled my oil changes and advised them that I was also having a problem with the shifting in my car. Scheduled my appointment for 5 PM. I arrived at the dealership and checked in with Gary Peters. Told him I was there for my oil change and gear shifting issues. Before I had a chance to deal with the other little issues Mark told me to speak to them about, Gary interrupted me and said I missed my appointment and it had been scheduled for earlier in the day. I told him no, my appointment was for 5. I work during the day and travel almost 1 hour to the dealership. While we were discussing what the time of my appointment was, one of the mechanics happened to be hanging out at the service desk. He said it didnt matter that I was there at 5, there was only one mechanic that could address the KNOWN shifting issue in the Cherokee and he does not work nights. I asked the question, why would I be scheduled for an appointment at a time when the one person would could fix my car was not working? When making the appointment I did advise I was having a shifting issue. His excuse, the people upstairs schedule the appointment and he has nothing to do with that. Gary said they would be able to change my oil and then I could call the next day to reschedule for the gear shifting issue. I explained to him that I travel from a very far distance and could they give me a loaner; keep the car overnight, have the gear issue addressed and Id pick it up the next day. Gary refused and was very rude about. At that point, I was very upset and went and sat down in the waiting area. Never did get a chance to talk about the other issues I was having that Mark specifically told me to speak to service about. As I was sitting in the waiting room, I noticed that Derek Eastman was at his desk. I went over and spoke to him and he was very apologetic but could not help me. He asked me to give him a list of all the items that needed to be addressed and he would speak to Mark and the service manager the next day about getting everything taken care of. I waited all day the next day and finally called and asked Derek for an update. He said he spoke to Bill Freeman regarding my issues and that Bill would contact me directly later that day to figure out how to resolve the issues. Here is sit over 2 weeks later and still no call back. I did have a call over a week ago from the person that does the survey after your visit and told her under no that I was not happy with my service and was still waiting for a call back from Bill Freeman. 3 days after I had my oil change, could hear something dragging underneath. The mechanic that did my oil change forgot to close the oil filter door. Seems pretty basic thing. Ill be visiting Bonneville and Son for my future sales and service needs. Contemporary Chrysler Dodge and Jeep should take a lesson from them on how to treat a customer. I went in to Bonneville to have the mud flaps put on, was advised when making my appointment that I would only last 1 hour. Service Dept. came out well ahead of the hour and advised it would be longer, offered me a loaner car and then even went one step further and delivered the car to my work. I would not recommend Contemporary Chrysler Dodge Jeep.

This was by far the worst experiance I ever had with a dealer in my 38yrs of living. I did my homework and knew what my truck was worth. Their offer was laughable. Then they actually tried to justify it which was even more funny, and after all this talk and offering they had already sold the jeep i was inquiring about and never had called me to let me know after we had an appt. scheduled. Complete waste of time. I will never even drive by this dealer again. Went to Bonneville and son and got a great deal. Guess everything happens for a reason.

So, thank you Bill for being the Service Manager at Contemporary; You are the one of the prime reasons I like Contemporary Service.I recently had the privilege of working with Josh, one of the Service Techs in the front office. My car is stored through the winter and it requires a little more care when it comes out of storage. Josh listens well, and has demonstrated going the extra mile to ensure I got the service I wanted - including how I want my car handled. Recently, we bought a RAM 2500 Diesel from Contemporary. I purchased my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan on Friday, Feb 28th from Erich (he did a great job). I returned with the van the following day to get it inspected. Not only did it not pass inspection, I had to return at a later date to have it fixed because the service department "didn't have time" for my vehicle. When I brought the van back, they replaced the thermostat and said I had to drive the van for 100 miles until the check engine light turned off then bring it back AGAIN and they would put a sticker on it. Thankfully, they took care of this right before my 20 day plates ran out. On Monday April 7, I called to ask to have the van seen as the check engine light came on again. I got a call on Tuesday after they looked at it and was told the entire thermostat area was rusted, rotted, and corroded from water damage and it would be $250.00 to repair it (keep in mind I've owned this van for a little over a month now). I told Larry that I have the extended warranty and I just purchased the van. After telling me that my extended warranty doesn't cover these types of repairs, he said he would speak to his manager have him give me a call back. Bill then called me and said they would repair it at no cost under a factory warranty. They cleaned up the corroded area and gave me the van back Tuesday night and said the parts would be in within 2-3 days.Well, today is day four and I had to call them to be told Larry will "catch up with me on Monday." As of now, I am driving the van with a broken and rotted thermostat "area" with my two children hoping I don't break down because I surely would be responsible for the repair coat. I am completely appalled at my experience with Contemporary. I am deeply concerned at this point about the problems I will face with this "lemon" over the next six years I am paying for it and I am not at all impressed with the folks I will be dealing with as far as the service department is concerned. Worst car buying experience ever!Knew what we wanted, and walked into the door with a stock number. We were told that the owner's wife had the car as a demo, but we worked up a great deal with the expectation of picking the car up this weekend. Arrived for our scheduled appointment, and were told that the salesman no longer worked there and the car was not there as promised.The floor manager, Derek Eastman, went on to say that the deal that the general manager, Russ Coutu, gave us was invalid since he looked at the wrong stock number, and very rudely threw us out of the dealership.Classic bait and switch, avoid like the plague!

Our family uses Contemporary Dodge for service, parts, and general maintenance of our cars. Our experience dealing with the Service Department could not be better. Every time we bring our cars for repair, the Service manager/staff takes the time to explain what the problem is and discuss the various options to fix it within our budget. If I'm unable to wait for service to take place, one of the staff members will drive me home and come back to pick me up when the car is ready. If you're looking for great service and personal care, Contemporary Dodge is the dealership for you. We have purchased several cars from them over the years and get the same attention when servicing our cars, regardless of where and when they were purchased.

The staff was very friendly and professional, especially the salesman I dealt with (Jay Coffey).One of the easiest car buying experiences I've had. I came in to test drive a Ram 1500 quad cab in September. I had narrowed it down to that and theFord F-150. I had requested prices, etc thru a website. I explained to Mark before coming in that I was not ready to purchase yet. I wanted to get thru the winter with my other vehicle. He was great to deal with. We talked about what features I was looking for, and we were able to narrow down exactly what I wanted. At no point did he try to sell me that day. How about that, a salesman who was listening to his potential customer and not using the hard close. He knew I was visiting Autofair Ford in Manchester next. Well, when I went to Autofair, I had the opposite experience. It was th worst experience ever, and will now associate all Fords ith that dealership. I had explained to them before hand I was just doing my research and not buying yet. They did not listen o what I was saying. I left and told them they lost a potential sale for not listening to me. I called Mark back and told him when I was ready, he was the one I was going to buy from. On Halloween morning, my transmission went on my trailblazer. I called Mark, and told him I would be coming in 4 months earlier than expected due to my circumstance. He remembered me, still had all the notes from our initial conversation, and a couple days later had the truck of my dreams. They drove to Buffalo, NY to get it as he made rue the features nd benefits tat were important to me were met. He I'd not try to just sell me on what was on the lot. There was no haggling on payments etc. I knew in my head what I was willing to spend, and what that would equate to in payments. We were within dollars of what I was expecting. They didn't try to back end me on the interest, etc. Even after picking up of truck, I was called to see how things were, as well as making appointment with Line-X to get the bed sprayed.As a person who wa in sales for many years, and now self employed, Mark is the kind of person I would want on my staff.Thank you for paying attention to my wants and needs,Dave Thibeault

I must confess that I would not like to have me as a prospective customer. I, by my nature, are hard to please in Auto Dealerships because I once was a car salesman. These people, principally, Jay Coffey and Corey Luba, were incredibly patient with me and never got upset no matter what I said or did. Once the deal was done, I had occasion to meet and be briefed on the tech of the Jeep by Clayton Bogus, who was NOT bogus at all!!! Two days later, I was treated just as well in the parts and service departments. I must not leave out the receptionist, Robin Kimball who patiently got me coffee throughout the process. My wife and I have had 7 jeeps in the last 15 years and all of them up until now, were bought in Portsmouth, Nh because we got the best deal there. Our experience with Contemporary was great from our first phone call with Jen, right through the sales experience with Will, and our chats with Bill Freeman, Josh Calawa, and other service people as well. Every single interaction was professional, friendly and sincere. That dedication to customer service does not end once the papers are signed, either. Will and Mike LaPlante were great about answering questions I had after the sale. Will and General Manager Russ Coutu both made follow-up calls to make sure we were happy with the car and the service we received. Oh we are happy, VERY happy. My wife Diana and I had 2 Great experiences at Contemporary. Our first purchase was a 2009 Toyota RAV4 for my wife, Diana. Her old vehicle had high mileage and needed to be replaced. Upon entering the dealership, David Ohlson approached us. I liked his style right off the bat. He was not pushy, as I experienced at other dealerships in the area. He sat down with us and asked my wife what was important to her. Then he picked a vehicle, she test drove it and liked the RAV4. When we returned, David sat down with us and we dicussed where we needed to be budget wise. David worked hard and got us a price that we were both very happy with and his attention to detail was impressive. He even called our Insurance agent and gave them the info on the new RAV4.We had such a good experience that I went back for a Subaru Imprezza that I wanted. I have purchased several other cars in the past and each experience have been negative, from pushy sales people to fraudelent finance/business Mgrs. David Fennessy was honest, open, and willing to do whatever it would take to make us happy customers. David Gammon was the most honest and sincere Business Manager I have worked with. His demeanor and candid explanation of the options that we had was welcoming. I went in with the opinion that I was not purchasing any other warranties and left with a 6 year extended warranty and Interior/Exterior 5 year warranty. It was due to his honest approach to the options and truly listening to our needs and concerns that sealed the deal. I feel I purchased a car with full protection from a person who cares about me and not what he could do to line the pockets of the dealership. Soley between these 2 people and no one else, they made this our best experience purchasing a vehicle. I will be telling others that Dave Fennessy and David Gammon made our experience exceptional and should seriously consider buying their next vehicle from Contemporary Dodge and working with these two men for honest and compassionate service.

We decided to check out Contemporary CDJ since we were interested in the Jeep Wrangler as one of two replacement vehicles for a pair of aging 1998 Hondas and were pleasantly surprised at both the range of stock and the friendly, low pressure nature of the sales team, with Xan Peterson as our primary contact.Fair appraisals were given for both of our trade-in vehicles and, given we were purchasing through an employee affiliate plan that essentially negated any requirement to barter over pricing, the experience could not realistically have been much easier.Now we have the car we wanted (Jeep Wranglers are so much fun!), we look forward to using Contemporary as our one-stop Jeep servicing center in the future. ;-)

Had one of their used cars for 4 days and the battery had to be replaced. Ask sales person about the condition of the battery and he assured me it was ok - NONSENSE (car was on their lot for 5 winter months in New Hampshire). Dealer unwilling to compensate for battery.Auto check did not indicate any repair to vehicle. The guy from AAA who came to jump start the car, pointed out that there was bodywork done on the rear bumper. This fellow was really sharp and had experience with performance cars. I should have had him by my side when looking at the car. Auto check report indicated no issues with the car - don't believe it; not all vehicle history is properly documented. Contemporary CDJ had to know the car had issues, that's their business. Spoke with the previous owner and he indicated the car was rear ended 3 months after he got it. So you want to deal with people who are not truthful? March 30 update - both rear calipers frozen. Rear brakes not operational. Stay tuned, probably more issues to follow.April 11 update - Sales manager called after the issues with the brakes were discovered. He suggested that I get a couple estimates to repair the rear brakes and send them to him. Based on the estimates and his own research he offered a fair compensation for the repair, and sent out a check. At least I received some satisfaction, but stilll a little annoyed that I wasn't compensated for the battery.

We purchased a 2006 Van July 2, 2012 and called 7/3/12 to give them a list of the items that weren't working. One of them was that the airbag light was on. When we had the car serviced, the light wasn't on so they couldn't service it. Since then, the light has come on every time it rains, or there's humidity. I contacted Russ Coutu and he said we'd have to pay for this service even though I reported it the very next day I bought the vehicle, due to the time lapse. I was unaware that when the airbag light was on that they would not deploy, thus making the vehicle suceptival to extreme danger. We also reported our 6 CD player didn't work on 7/3/12 as advertised on the web. We were told we would have to pay for that as well. We could NEVER give this manager a positive "comment" and would NEVER take our business there again. BTW, this is our third Town and Country Chrysler, but our last visit to Contemporary!

I've never left a dealership feeling as if I got a great deal on a car. Until now. I met Clayton and told him what I was looking for in a car. He recommended a great car for me that really did fit my needs. He was very knowledgeable of the car & made me feel like he really wanted to make sure that I purchased a car that I would be happy with. I was very happy with the entire experience. Clayton is a great sales person. I never felt like he was trying to push me into a car that was more than I needed. He spent a lot of time with me, answered all of my questions and the end result is I got a car that I absolutely love that fits my needs at a price that I felt was very fair. His follow up has been fantastic, and not something that a lot of sales people do once the sale is done. Little things like that go a long ways. I would recommend not just Clayton, but Contemporary as a whole, to anyone looking for a car. (But if you do go there - definitely - ASK FOR CLAYTON!) ;)

After a previous attempt, I returned and dealt with Clayton Bogus and Cory Luba. After some discussion, a new Charger was purchased. Dona kindly helped me out with a couple of hard to find parts for my 1997 Plymouth Prowler. Unfortunately one of the items (upper radiator hose) didn't fit. She even took the time to walk out to my Prowler and take a few pics, of the hose I'm looking for. She told me she would get back to me some time next week to let me know what she found. I cannot even express how unbelievably delightful the experience of buying a vehicle from Contemporary Chrysler in Milford New Hampshire was. Starting with the person that actually responded to my many questions about the vehicle I was looking for through their website. Jenn Du Haime was quick to respond, professional and attentive. She found the EXACT vehicle I was looking for but did offer to find my perfect vehicle if one was not physically on the Contemporary Chrysler lot. Jenns attentiveness influenced me to take a day off from work, ( I work in Dover New Hampshire, to drive to Milford, which is still 23 miles from my house as I live in Manchester, New Hampshire) to drive 70 miles to Milford to visit this dealership. I was then greeted by Mark Cheever who was my appointed salesman. Mark was awesome. He knew the product inside and out and just to tell you how close this dealership pays attention to detail Mark mentioned to me my concern about the vehicles interior color. Jenn clearly had written down this detail that I expressed to her, and, in turn, Mark reassured me that having 2 dogs and a light interior would not be an issue as he drives a Jeep Liberty and the fabric is so versatile to cleaning the only stain he couldnt get out was that of a sharpie pen but lets face it. Sharpies are marketed to be a pen with indelible ink and that is the reason we buy them so they wont come out or disappear! Needless to say, with that level of comfort, I bought the Jeep which was, in fact, the exact vehicle I had been looking for for a few months. I had two vehicles to trade, which I thought would be a true pain to get that process done but, again, these guys made it so easy, they gave me fair trade in prices for my cars and even picked up my second car in Manchester so I wouldnt have to drive back out to Milford with a friend to bring my car to them. A very nice gesture which was above and beyond any expectation I had. Mark showed me every little aspect of the Jeep Patriot from the fold down seats, to explaining the entire dashboard functions including setting up my Bluetooth. Truly going above and beyond the call of duty. Mark even made the call to my insurance company once it was determined what financial institute would be financing this vehicle, which, by the way, Contemporary Chrysler did all the leg work on finding me the most competitive rate. The finance persons name is John and I am sorry but I dont recall his last name but even the financing aspect of this whole process was seamless and painless, unlike anything I have ever experienced before and I have bought 7 new cars in the past 17 years and no dealership comes even close to how great Contemporary Chrysler is. Contemporary Chrysler has an exquisite ability to pay attention to what their customers concerns and wants are in a vehicle to actually addressing the issues and resolving any potential problems. This Dealership is the best head and shoulders above---Dealership I have ever experienced. That is why I rated this Dealership 10s straight across for every category. On a scale from 1 to 10, these guys deserve to be rated a 20 across every category. I am telling everyone I come in contact with about this Dealership and how if they are looking for a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep to go see them. They are truly worth the trip!!!!!!

seriously, this is the first time I've felt I truly got a super deal from a car dealer in all the years I have purchased cars. David Olson and Steve Francouer sat down with me and discussed my specific needs and situation. They listened to me and respected the somewhat difficult needs I had for a versatile and functional yet fun vehicle. Clayton listened to what I wanted in a car and put me in a 2011 Dodge Charger. I was looking for something safe, reliable, with GPS and satellite radio; the Charger has all that, and its a fun sporty car. The AWD and backup cameras were something I hadn't even thought of but they make a huge difference. A few months after I purchased the vehicle there was a recall on the door handles and the service department had my car in and out in a day and scheduled the repairs promptly when the parts arrived. The finance department made sure I could afford the payment and went over all my options with me. The protect-all package was a great buy; affordable, and now that I have a new baby I don't have to worry so much about something happening to the interior. Contemporary really listens and makes sure that you get what you want, what you need, and what you can afford. I'll definately be going back to Contemporary for my next car purchase, and I will be sure Clayton is the one who helps me!

I had the best experience buying a car EVER when I visited Contemporary Chrysler Dodge & Jeep. I had done the Build and Buy through Consumer Reports - not really thinking that anything would come of it - and perhaps not thinking I was quite ready to buy. David Ohlson responded to the online request and sent me an email right away; followed by a phone call (the clincher - it would have been easy to ignore the email!). We talked about what I had "built", what they had available (almost exactly what I was looking for), he answered some basic questions and determined a good time to test drive. So I still wasn't thinking I was ready to commit. I met David, the jeep was ready to go when I arrived. The test drive was fun, and David was kind, personable, let me ask questions, but was NEVER pushy or launched into a stereotypical cars salesman spiel. We chatted, someone drove the car I would be trading in. We chatted some more. We laughed and joked. We took a look at numbers and i bought a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I can honestly say, were it not for David and the staff at Contemporary - I would not have purchased the Jeep. David and staff at Contemporary were personable, amiable and just a pleasure to do business with. It was truly a pleasant experience and who ever says that about buying a car!! Thank you David! I've wanted a Wrangler for years but didn't know much about them. A friend recommended I go to Contemporary and speak to Russell the General Manager. Russell was incredibly friendly and put me into the capable hands of Mark. I live in Manchester and initially drove to Contemporary to see what they had. It wasn't a far drive and they were easy to find. Mark was extremely helpful and I never felt pushed to make a decision. He listened to what I wanted and steered me in the right direction. Next thing I knew I was in Dave's office crunching numbers. Dave explained everything to me in a thorough and easy to understand manner. We have had our New Dodge Grand Caravan for a little over a month and absolutely LOVE IT!!! It's hard to believe I could fit 5 bikes, 4 kids, 3 bat bags and myself safetly in it, but thats exactly what I needed, without the huge gas bill! Chris Loveday made this transaction in purchasing my new Jeep Wrangler easier than I could have ever dreamed of. He went the extra mile and had a crew meet me half way to pick the vehicle up and everything was in order and so easy that my friends and I were back home in time to have lunch together. I swooped into the parking lot of Contemporary Chrysler last year to look at a used Jeep I had seen online - but wasn't ready to buy (I know, a car salesman's worst nightmare...). First visit to this dealership and it was an excellent one! Hated just about every past experience with dealerships and/or car buying scenarios... Went with a friend, we were able to pull into the lot comfortably get out of my vehicle and acclimate ourselves with the surroundings instead of being chased down mid pull in. We walked over to the vehicle I had initially seen online for a look over and was promply greeted by a salesman by the name of Bob Jones (awesome guy!). I asked my questions, all which were answered... Took it for a test drive and headed inside for the sale... Super relaxing environment. Sat with Bob and chatted it up while working out the numbers. Very easy to talk to, made me and my friend as comfortable as possible, worked with me in every step of the deal. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I stepped on the lot I felt welcome. The vehicles were clean and well organized. I was approached by Mr.Bogus as I wandered the lot. After telling him what I wanted he quickly found two perfect vehicles that were exactly within my price range. He also served as my consistent and quite prompt contact throughout the entire process. The sales manager and all of the staff were incredibly pleasant and I have rarely seen a dealership bend over backward to ensure such a small sale. I really felt important. I walked into Contemporary Chrysler Dodge on Monday April 23 and walked out an hour and a half later with more vehicle than I expected and below my expected price range! How's that for a great experience?! I told Clayton my monthly price point. He immediately came up with three vehicles to look at. The first one was a Jeep Patriot that was way more vehicle than I would have dreamed of getting. My husband and I were buying a surprise college graduation gift for our daughter. We were thinking we could afford a little sedan. I came away in less than 2 hours with a fully loaded Limited Edition Jeep Patriot. At below my stated price. What's not to love? Clayton was friendly and sincere. He was excited that he could find such a great deal for our situation. Dave helped us through the signing of the paperwork which included explaining warranty options. He was forthright and to the point and again, we came away feeling completely satisfied with our choices. This is the first used car I have bought from Contemporary. Outstanding character and assistance from Bob Jones, even though he's a republican. But I cannot say enough about how helpful and responsive the whole team was to meeting my needs. I needed a minivan to help out disabled veterans in the Gardner area and with a limited budget and these guys more than stepped up. The customer service started with Steve and continued with Bob Jones a five star character right to finance and out the door. They were extremely friendly with appropriate antidotes thrown in to ease me into the vehicle. As I said I had a limited budget and wham they adjusted a few numbers and I was free sailing into ownership. My car buying experience today was outstanding and I would recommend this dealership to friends and family.

My boyfriend used to work this dealership and I very recently purchased a vehicle from him THAT PASSES INSPECTION. From the day I drove off the lot the vehicle made some noises but I just thought it Was cuz the vehicle was older n cuz it sat for a little bit but it never went away. The other day my car broke down and i had to have it towed to a garage. The garage which is family owned said the vehicle needed about $500 dollars worth of repairs. Keep in mind I have put less than 2,000 miles on the vehicle and only had it for a couple of months. The two rear sway bar arms n the front sway bar managed to rust completely through the solid metal and they snapped in half. My boyfriend called them and told them what happened because there's noway that those parts completely rusted through and completely snapped in half in such a short period of time. They refused to do anything with the vehicle at all because It supposedly passed inspection when it came in. I thought I could trust this dealership because I knew the salesman tht sold the car to me at the time and they all assured me i bought a "beautiful" vehicle which clearly was not the case. For a dealership that lives off of reputation this was clearly not the right thing to do and is a very unfortunate circumstance for me. Make sure you bring the car you are considering of purchasing to your own personal mechanic cuz if they would do this to someone they know who knows what they would do to someone they don't know.

dealer has lied to use to our faces in order to sell us a car to meet there end of the month quotas, thus causing hardship and anguish to Wife and myselfThey made us a verbal promise that if the 20 day registration expired they would let us use a dealer plate to go there and get registered This promise was made 5 different times and my wife is a witnessThey also were to mail us a check for payoff on our 2007 dodge caliber and funds that we needed to pay for taxes on our new car to register in OhioBy the time they sent this check and it cleared our bank we only had one day to be therebut knowing that we could get the dealer plate I was O.K. with that untill....I called in the morning of 3/2/12 and spoke with the finance manager who told me it would be no problem to use the plate and he would call back...two hours latter I called again and he told me the sales manager was in a meetingI called 5pm and same ...in a meeting ...Finally I got the manager on the phoneand he said that he was the one who put this deal together and that the plate was never offeredSo I called Dodge Customer CareWhen I complained to Dodge Customer Care and got nowhere They hide behind a excuse that the dealer is a franchise Contemporary Dodge sales manager also told Customer Care it was against the law to let us use the dealer plate unless it was at time of purchase..........REALY?It's not the fact that I have to trailer or ship this car to Ohio I don't even want their stupid plate nowIt's the way they made me into their end of the month sucker..It was never about customer satisfaction it was about making their quota and getting rid of a 2011

This has to be the worst dealership I have ever stepped in... I first will say that Steven in the parts dept has his stuff together and have been dealing with him for years and he is great at his job. I cannot however say the same for the sales dept and even more so for the service dept. I visited the dealership when I was looking to buy a new car and I came in looking at the Jeep Commanders and the salesmen tried swaying me toward other vehicles and I continued to tell him what I was interested in and what I was looking to spend and the Commanders were in this category. He first told me they would have no problem trading my car in and paying it off as I owned it right and was in pristine condition and was only 2 years old. So going forward he told me that I should consider another type of vehicle then the Commander as he didnt think I would like it.... After 2 hours of going back and forth with him I was disgusted. Then to top it off the sales manager came out and told me I was upside down on my trade in which I was NOT. The book on my car was 18,500.00 clean trade in and I owed just over 15 on it and bought it new 2 years prior for almost 27K. The car was immaculate! Only had 30K on it and was flawless. At this point I was now there for over 4 hours and I just lost my appetite for that place.. I went to Ira in Manchester and bought my car and they paid off my trade with no issue and I had some left over which got placed onto my new car. Contemporary had told me the sticker price is what you pay and there is NO ROOM to negotiate on their cars... THIS IS A DOWN RIGHT LIE.. I went to Bonnevile and Sons and Manchester and spoke to them about it and they told me that was absurd and there is a markup and there is always room to negotiate. Anyhow I made my choice to buy at Ira... Moving forward, I brought my car to Contemporary for an oil change as they are very close to my office and they told me I would be in and out within a half hour.. 3 hours and 28 minutes later I got my car back, I was now 2 hours and 28 minutes past my break time.. They tried to feed me every excuse until one of the techs came out and admitted they had their heads up their butts (tech working on my car).. I was very angry and told the service manager how I felt and he apologized up and down and assured me they took this very seriously and there was no need for it to have happened. Then the service writer Don gives me a card for a free oil change, I asked why this one couldnt be free since it was now that I was upset, they told me they cant do that but the next one was on the house, I then got a call from the GM telling me he was sorry for this mishap and said to come back for the free oil change when I am ready. Today I brought my car in for the "free" oil change and I was told half hour and I reminded them I was on my lunch hour and had to be back and they assured me no problem. So now my car comes out 1hour and 5 mins later and they hand me a bill for 83.50, I told them that this was to be free and handed them the card. The new service writer said he wasnt sure how to process it so he called in the manager who came out and said I was NOT entitled to a free oil change and said I had to purchase 1 more oil change then my next would be free....... Needless to say I lost my cool and let them know how I felt.. The original service writer I had dealt with the first time was sitting right there during this whole time (Don) and never said one word and he is the one who apologized to me the last time and gave me the free oil change card!!! This place is HORRIBLE to the core and POOR customer service!!! Additionally: Today 3/7/12 I receive a call at my office from Stephen in the parts dept stating he was asked by the GM to call me and try to get me to remove the negative feedback I left here on Dealer Rater... I expressed my concern that they involved him and that management couldn't be bothered themselves to call me and plead their case. This has now ended our business relationship and I will go elsewhere for my parts needs. This is just yet another show of their lack of management and customer service, a bit cowardly and underhanded one might say. UPDATE: Rcvd yet another call from dealership now trying to back out of everything that was said to me and trying to back pedal. I have never in my life dealt with such unprofessional people. It was asked of me what I was trying to accomplish by this and here it is, AWARENESS of how I was treated as a customer of theirs. Coming from a full background in sales and financing I have to say this is some of the worst tactics I have witnessed to date.. All because I was honest about my experience and I will not recant it as they so wish.. I did also find it funny that it was said to me that "they only called to ask me to put in my review that they tried to resolve the issue with me".... Asking me to remove my review and telling me that you have been put in a bad position with your managers is NOT my concern! Treat customer properly and this would not be an issue! STOP CALLING AND HARASSING ME!

I found Contemporary CDJ while searching for a salesman I had done business with in the past. The salesman I knew had since moved on but David Hammer politely and courteously offered to help. I explained to him that I was deployed overseas with the US Navy and this was a preliminary inquiry aimed at a purchase upon my return a year later. He offered to reach out to me several months later as we got closer to the purchase date, I agreed, and amazingly, I received an email in January as he promised. My plans had changed, he adapted, had a vehicle on the lot that was more than I wanted but he was willing to do whatever it took to make it work or order one that would. We discussed pricing briefly, my sight unseen trade-in and he sent an email an hour later with an offer. I accepted, and with a small credit card deposit, held the vehicle for more than two weeks awaiting a check from my credit union. My wife picked up the vehicle, ready when it was supposed to be and off she went.Overall a very pleasant and easy deal. They were reasonable and accomodating in every way. Dealing with them over email and few short phone calls it was an incredibly painless purchase! No pressure, no haggling, no BS. All in all, an excellent experience!

Saw a truck online, emailed for more info and received a quick reply from Chris Loveday. I test drove the truck and told Chris I couldn't stick around to work the numbers. I asked him to call me with info - we went over everything between email and the phone calls. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Stay away unless you visit them directly.Their Internet ad was misleading at best, and fraud at worst. The ad promised a certain mileage on the vehicle, which was not disclosed as incorrect until I received a copy of the title indicating the mileage was 14,000 miles, not 11,000 miles.The pictures of the vehicle were taken at least 6 months earlier and about 7,000 miles ago.The in inspection by their mechanics, which was offered as the current inspection was done at about 3,500 miles.And now it's been more than two weeks since I scuttled the deal and I have not received my $1,000 deposit back. Worse, no-one will get back to me about the issue.I have been very polite and patient. I have gotten no results.Unless you can go and visit them in person, don't deal with them.And now I get to deal with VISA in an attempt to recover my deposit.

I was looking for a dealership that would do a deal with out all the usual "dealership games" ok, let me explain, I had a trade, it wasA very clean Hummer H2, I know what the trade in on this SUV was worth, and dealers know what this trade is worth, but when I went intoA dealership and tried to make a deal, they would start to talk the trade down, talk about fuel prices being high, no one is buying SUVs And then offer me less money for it like it was a truck ready for the junk yard,When I started talking with Dave Gammon, he was very straight forward with the deal, we looked up the trade together, he explained what each entry was, we came to an agreement on a deal and Bob did all the paperwork.Now that's not the end of the story! After the deal was made, I had a pre approval from a bank, and Dave could have taken the check and Have been done With the deal, this was not the case, he asked me if he could shop the loan for a better interest rate, and I told him, thatHe could if he did it without any inquiry damage to my credit rating. The next day I got a call from Bob informing me that Dave had gottenMe a loan At 3 and a half points lower, saving me a considerable amount of money in interest, That is the difference between a dealership that just wants the deal, and a dealership that wants to make a deal, and have you come backfor years to come. They were very friendly & knowledgable about a vechicle I had never heard of until the day I drove into their parking lot. Bob let me test drive the Jeep with him the first 15 min I was there. I was completely surprised at the ease of purchasing a new vehicle at Contemporary. Clayton was not pushy at all; he acted like he worked for me and really worked to find me the exact vehicle I wanted. He was never pushy, always patient and helpful. I have already recommended several of my friends go see him; I trust that he will treat them as well as he treated me, and that they will come away as pleased. It was always fun to go into the Contemporary showroom. Bruce and Corey are really fun -- they make the environment relaxed and comfortable. Dave (the business manager) offered me a rate that beat the advertised rate that my credit union was bragging about; and he had the paperwork ready at my convenience. In all, the experience was fabulous. I will certainly return there for additional vehicles in the future. Not only am I convinced that I was given a great deal, I have been impressed with the parts and service department. They take the time to answer questions, and really care to do a great job on my vehicle. I like their hours and their "how can we help you?" attitude. I asked around about their service department before I ever went in to look at a Jeep at this dealership; I have found that a great deal will taste sour if a dealership doesn't have the service to support customers; and the service at Contemporary has been prompt and courteous thus far. I am a happy customer, love my new Jeep, and have no hesitation recommending this dealership (and Clayton!) to my friends.

I went to this dealer because I was looking online for a specific car, which they had. I was hesitant to go because of prior experiences at dealerships. I just hate the whole process. I was pleasantly surprized when I got there because I was greated by Clayton and he never once made me feel pressured. He was friendly and personable and certainly knew a lot about the car. I recently purchased a new Ram 1500 and decided to have some mud flaps put on. Big Mistake! I noticed when I got home that one of the flaps didn't fit right because whoever installed it didn't remove the tire and put one of the screws in at an angle.I returned to have it repaired. When they were done they had me look at it and it LOOKED good so I left. When I was washing my truck I noticed the flap was loose so I tightened it myself. This caused the flap to bow out and pop away from the fender. I then noticed the flap was being held on by super glue. SUPER GLUE! They deliberately left one of the screws loose because they knew what would happen if it was tightened. I brought it in a second time. The dealership is over a half hour away and I had already wasted hours dealing with this problem so I asked the manager to refund my money and replace the flaps with fender flares to cover the glue. I said I would install them myself. The price for the flares was only about $60.00 dollars more. You'd think that they would want to make things right after being so deceptive but you'd be wrong. They wanted to charge full price for the flares.I eventually agreed to have the flap in question repaired. They replaced it with a new one and decided to replace the other rear fender too. Why I don't know. That one was put on wrong too but atleast it's tight so I can live with it. This process took another 2 hours to resolve.This whole thing could have been avoided if they were just honest with me. They screwed up the first time but that didn't upset me. It's the second time when they glued it. They knew it was wrong but they hid the problem. How can you trust a dealership like that? You can't. I have a coupon for a free oil change but I'm not going to use it. I'll never go back there again and I recommend anyone interested in a new Dodge or Jeep to go somewhere else.

We were looking for a fun, colorful Jeep with certain features. We thought we found "the Jeep" at Contemporary. Chris was very receptive, responsive and helpful during the process. Additionally, Clayton stepped in when we came up for a quick "family" visit, to "approve" the Jeep color and features. He was friendly and helpful, but couldn't demo the "mobile hands-free" feature, after several attempts, and assuring us it was very easy! However, I can't say the same about the balance of the staff at Contemporary. I called Contemporary to arrange a "family visit", within 24 hours of leaving a deposit, just to 100% certain this was "THE JEEP", Chris wasn't available. I was met with sales agression, criticism and pressure, as I was told "I might cause them to loose a sale". Additionally, even after calling ahead, with our anticipated arival time, and our "time crunch", when we arrived to "get the keys", the finance person wasn't ready, there were errors in the paperwork, which later caused issues at the RMV. In summary, Chris was pleasant, professional, responsive and helpful. But, the rest of the Contemporary team could take a few lessons in preparedness, customer service and product training, so if they offer to demo a key feature of a vehicle, they know how it works, and how easy it is. Contemporary was the las stop on our day of car shopping on because we did not know about it. But thank goodness for iPhone apps! We were searching for a particular car in a pariticular color and this dealership popped up as having one. I called and let Chris know I would be there in an hour or so and when we arrived I saw the black on black 2011 Durango right at the entrance waiting for me. :)We walked in met with Chris who was very nice and ready to show us the car, we hopped in went for a spin and of course I was ready to make this Dodge mine. Chris is very easy to work with, no high pressure, and that makes it a pleasure to go car shopping. He's honest in his approach, diligent, and therefor we were able to strike a deal. I believe the price is fair, and I love the vehicle! The rest of the staff was friendly as well. The finance portion was smooth and when we went to pick up our vehicle everything was done and ready to go; it was literally a sign and drive at that point. Chris lives in the vicinity of where I am, and he has even offered to come over and help with any questions I have dealing with the jeep. me and my wife were looking for a used car. we had went into the showroom and talked to a employee he sat us down and proceeded to disregard everything i had said, and was looking for. he never toldus his name but told us his itire life story that had nothing to do with buying a car. he had asked us if we wanted to go for a test drive we agreed and 30 min later he came back after the car woulded start,( we only know this because we saw him carrying a jump box out to the car)so he said how about a eep liberty. he contiued to bring the car around for us to look at it, he had opened the back door to show us all the room inside of the car. when he went to close the door and glass hatch it wouldent even close goes to show there machanics arent up to par. he taped the glass hatch down with clear packing tape and said that was good enough to drive o not to metching the a didnt work in the car and it just so happen to be one of the hottest days of the year. the only reason we took the car for a test drive is to get away form that salesman that would apparent sell anthing to anyone aslong as it didnt brack while we were looking at it. needless to say we tured arond quickly left the keys in th car and left that dealershp as soon as possible. the next day we went to the suburu of manchester and were treated awsome and left with a car that day. i would never ever go back to the dealership in milford. i wouldent even sand my worst enemy to that dealship.

My purchase experience was awesome, from my 1st stop to take a look in the showroom to picking up my vehicle a few days later. On my 1st stop, Clayton (my salesman) explained in detail the features of the various Wrangler models and allowed me to take an extended test ride. This extended ride sold me on the Wrangler and after a few days of vehicle and dealer research on the internet I decided that this dealership had the best selection of Wranglers in the Southern NH area. My negotiation with Clayton was extremely painless, never once was the conversation hostile nor did I get pressured to buy extras that I did not want. I believe I got a good price for my trade-in and an exceptional deal on the price of the jeep. When picking up the vehicle, I was introduced to the service department and when I inquired about Jeep accessories, they voluntered to send a copy of the MOPAR catalog and price list via e-mail. This was a very nice touch. The preparation of the vehicle for delivery was EXTRAORDINARY. I have never had a purchased car deliverd to me in such pristine condition; the body was waxed to perfection (including the aluminum wheels) and surface protectant applied to all plastic surfaces, tires including wheel wells.I could have driven this jeep off the show room floor and entered it into a car show! I HIGHLY recommend Contemporary CDJ for a vehicle purchase. I am looking forward to dealing with them again for my vehicle maintainence visits.

I initiated the transaction over the phone and chose Contemporary because they were confident enough to give me numbers worth coming in for over the phone. I knew when I got to the dealership that I was going to get the deal we agreed on. There was a point of negotiation regarding interest rate, and the sales manager worked diligently to make the transaction a win-win for both parties. My salesperson had great follow through. He always called me back to answer my questions, had complete answers and even followed up with a request I had left on his voicemail. Rare and excellent service from a dealer. I have purchased/traded 10 cars in the last 10 years and my experience with Contemporary rates among the top THREE. I would say out of the top three they were #2, and that is a HUGE compliment.

The dealership was great to work with. We were able to get a loan approved through them when no one else could help us. They had a good amount of inventory for what we were looking for, and were able to get us a vehicle in the price range we wanted. We have been driving our mini-van for almost a week now with no unwanted surprises and love it. Bob our salesman was extremely friendly and seemed to honestly have our best interests at heart. My only suggestion for the dealership would be to research the vehicles more, when questioned about how decent the make/ model of a certain van is, or if the parts would be expensive to replace we were given a universal answer that dodged the question. Aside from this one suggestion, we had a very good experience and would return to them again for another vehicle in the future.* The final cost we spent was a little higher than the kelly blue book value.

I was searching specifically for a Chrysler Town and Country with AWD so when I called in and told them it would be a three hour drive one way for me to look at the car, Bob answered my request to send additional photos and to check a few things out in the van I needed answers on before driving down. He assured me if I drove down it wouldn't be a waste of time, and also send over the car's history report. Sure enough, we drove down, and the van was in the condition to be expected and we drove home happy owners. It was quick, painless, easy, and Bob and Ted were extremely friendly to deal with. They have popcorn and coffee in the show room for free, and while waiting to finish paperwork I talked to some of the other sales associates and they were all equally knowledgeable and eager to educate us on the different cars. I recently traded in my 2007 Jeep Wrangler for a new 2010 Jeep Wrangler. I spoke to a wonderful Salesperson by the name of Clayton Bogus at Contemporary Chrysler Dodge in Milford NH. Clayton worked diligently & was able to locate the Jeep I specifically wanted from another dealer for a "dealer swap". Clayton went above & beyond to assist me in getting the exact specifications I wanted in a 2 door Jeep Wrangler. I have a full time job that is very stressful & often I don't have time to do many things during the day, Clayton was able to contact me daily via phone to assist me with my financial negotiations & do what ever it took for me to have the Jeep of my dreams. He even e-mailed me the pictures of the Jeep & all the specifications because I was unable to drive to the dealership to view it. He was extremely accommodating & professional when I had multiple questions. Purchasing a new vehicle is a very important time in one's life & can be very daunting at times, especially when you are A single female with a hectic career. I am a very aggressive person & I knew exactly what I wanted & the price I was willing to pay. Clayton had no issues with my aggressive approach & was able to answer all my questions. I even had difficulty raising the soft top on the new 2010 model & he is giving me a free demo on how I can raise it myself! Now, that's customer satisfaction. From the first e-mail contact we had with Jeff after finding a vehicle we were interested in on their website, we felt respected, comfortable & important, but never once pressured. At the dealership itself, we were pleasantly surprised at how easy buying a car could be! The showroom was bright and comfortable, with an area for our 4 year old to play, which came in handy. Due to great pricing of the vehicle to begin with and then a great trade in offer from Jason, there was no need to haggle, which was a first for us. All of our questions were answered honestly and Jeff made sure that we were 100% comfortable with everything every step of the way. Mark, Ricard and Ted were excellent. They respected my time and completed the paperwork without making me wait around. The even honored a late breaking discount that was made available to me a day after the purchase. In retrospect the only thing they could have done as a dealership is offer me therapy sessions for the separation trama of trading in my 2008 Charger R/T. Unrelated to the dealership, I was disappointed that in order to enjoy the features that I had in my Charger (heated leather seats, sun roof, 6-CD changer, remote starter), I would have had to upgrade to a very expensive package in the truck. Tht just seems wrong.

My husband and I were in the market for a new vehichle and had been researching what to buy for several months. We decided to go with a Jeep Compass or Patriot and began looking at the offers different dealers in the area had at the time. We test drove a vehichle at another dealer first but they were unable to meet our financial needs, so we began looking online and found a vehichle that I loved at Contemporary. My husband called and spoke to Mark in sales and he told us that the vehichle already had a deposit but that he could certainly find the same vehichle for us if we were interested. We went in to meet with him, he compared a Compass and Patriot for us side by side so that I could decide which one I preferred and once I had chosen the Compass we went from there. He worked with his sales manager (I don't remember his name) and the man who works with the finances (can't remember his name either) and they were able to come up with exactly what we wanted and found a vehichle that matched our needs but it was in PA. They immediately got on the phone and made arrangements to get that vehichle for us and it arrived within 5 days! We were greatly impressed with the level of service we received from each of these men and plan to purchase our next vehichle here as well as they were friendly, talked with us, gave us what we asked for without any hassle, and didn't mind our 10-month old banging on anything he could find! Best car buying experience we have had!

One of them was the exact reason I do not like dealers. I do not feel this way about Contemporary. I was treated very well, the pricing was very aggressive, the staff was great. Other dealers should take notice of how they are doing things here. They are treating people with respect, being fair, and offering a great value. I will tell others to check them out if they are in the market. Can't say enough good things about working with Mark and Ted. I left another offer, at another dealership, on the table to work with these guys. Their professionalism and their willingness to work -for me- won me over.

I purchased a 2010 dodge journey and dealt with Ted Nichols and Joe(can't remember his last name, but very friendly and helpful) via the internet. It was a simple no-hassle purchase. They did not try to push all the extra add-ons that normally come with a car purchase. They where offering a great discount off M.S.R.P. but I told Ted what I was willing to pay and they discounted it even more to get the price that I wanted. It was quick and easy and I was surprised that they would give such a great discount as this is a 2010 and not a left over 2009. It was a great deal and I am extremely happy with the purchase. I would highly recommend Contemporary Chrysler to anyone and plan to do business with them again when I am in the market for a new vehicle.

I went to several dealerships Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge. It was very nice to be treated with respect at this dealership. Some dealerships treat you like you dont have a brain in your head. I was clear with my expectations of what I was looking for. Richard and Ted where the first to listen to what I had said and then began working to find the right truck for me. They did have some difficulty get a dealership to give up their truck. Ted continued to work until he found what I was looking for. I plan to keep this truck for awhile. Most likely in a few years we will be back to look for a 4 wheel drive SUV. Hopefully, the Durango will be available. My only regret is that I didnt have enough money to by more. The employees at Contemporary made buying this truck and enjoyable experience. I will be back.

From the first telephone call through deliver of the new 2009 Dodge Caliber this dealership was outstanding. Questions were answered right away, the sales staff was all knowledgable and easy to deal with. There was no high pressure sales or "What do I have to do to get you to buy this car today" type of attitude. I felt they bent over backwards to put me in the car I wanted and at a price I was comfortable with. They've followed up after the sale to make sure I was still happy with my purchase. Given my experience there my husband plans to go back to this dealership next year to purchase a new car also.

Had a very good experience. They honored a rebate sheet we got in the mail, though the date was wrong on it. Mark was very patience letting me figure out which one I really wanted. I would mention that at the end of a sale I think it that it is important that the sales person be there to go over the car and thank the person buying the vehicle in person. If that salesperson is not available, it should be set up that when the buyer returns someone is ready and available to thank them in person. The follow up conversations and emails have been great. I would further add the service department and the sales team went above and beyond to take care of us after some real problems with another dealership.Thank you Contemporary,Crista and Chris Salamy

This was an internet sale. Chris answered all of my questions promptly and we closed the deal by phone. Laid-back approach and not overbearing. (some dealers forget that most people have purchased a car in the past)Friendly, Professional, Dealership without the "in-your-face" approach.Chris let me take the vehicle for a night which clinched the deal. We purchased a 2009 Dodge Journey recently. Lori Baron was great at helping us test out the car. The GM Russ Coutu and manager Steve Francoeur allowed us to take a Journey home for the weekend to try it out. At first we were not sure that the Journey would work out. We were owners of several mini-vans over the years. Now that the kids are older the mini-van is not needed as much. The weekend test drive did the trick and we were satisfied that the Journey would work out fine for us. I have never had a car dealer allow me to drive a car for more that a few minutes. The overnight test was perfect. Lori helped us search for a Journey with the features we wanted. After a search we decided the best approach was to order a Journey. The folks at Contemporary helped us get the order in and kept us abreast of progress with the order. The car came in and we picked it up. The process of picking up the car went very well. The finance person (Mark) explained all the financial terms and offered a variety of extended warranty options. There was no pressure to take the options they were each explained and we were allowed to choose which we wanted and which we did not.Lori then took time to go over all the features of the car from the navigation system to the voice recognition system.This is our second purchase from Contemporary and we have had our Chrysler/Dodge cars serviced there for years. The team is always pleasant and willing to help with any need and they have done great work all the time on our Chrysler Mini Van.

I have been very pleased in all my dealings thus far with Contemporary. Both Bill and Duane are always very courteous and helpful. They have gone out of their way to answer my questions. I always feel welcomed and that my business is valued at Contemporary. The service department is very honest, and they have convienient hours. Their prices are in line with what I would pay elsewhere. It is very refreshing to deal with an honest and friendly dealership!!! When I need to purchase my next vehicle I will purchase it from Contemporary. I would also like to note that my dad just purchased a 2008 Caravan and was treated very well and feels he got a fair deal. His salesman Jim is very friendly, helpful and honest.

My 04 Town & Country water pump started leaking and Matt talked straight to me (no bull no talking down, and no scare tatics) and then helped my diagnose the problem. By visiting a Minivan site on the net I found out that this repair is usually covered under the Power Train Warrenty, which made things even better to accept.They both were great people to work with and it was a pleasant repair experience.I would recommend this dealer's service and parts dept to anyone. They are REALLY trying to do things right.If more USA dealers operated this way more USA products would get higher ratings in the various mags and e-net sites.

I have used the service department of Contemporary Chrysler for many years for their service. I have an "03 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and an '01 PT Cruiser. I have also used them to service my last car - an older '89 Jeep Wrangler as well. This was the first place that I have ever used a dealership service department for service on my cars because I always believed them to be overpriced in comparison to a repair shop. I have always felt fairly treated at the Contemporary Chrysler service department - fair prices, nice and friendly service people, easy to schedule appointments or get walk-in service, nice waiting area, good follow-up phone calls, e-mails, etc. Many times they have helped me out without charge even on some minor questions and service (pulling fuse plug, spare tire locking nut, etc.) But until my last service issue, I was just content with the service department, but I just thought it was a just the way every place was.The issue started in March when they replaced the front brake pads. I smelled hot brakes immediately and it just kept getting worse. I was driving one day a few weeks later and the brakes all but completely locked up and then caught fire. Luckily I was right near Contemporary at the time and drove it in. They had to use a fire extinguisher on the front wheels. But they "fixed" it the next day and I was off. Not long after, the same thing repeated itself with the brakes feeling engaged and the same strong smell of overheated brakes. I took the Jeep in immediately and after servicing the brakes for the third time I was hit with a service bill for $372.00 for calipers and hoses. I was not very happy with this as I felt that their initial repair service was the cause for the overheating and the breakdown of the hoses and calipers. Now this doesn't sound like a compliment to Contemporary Chrysler service dept, but it sure is. After voicing my concern and skepticism, the Service Manager at Contemporary, John Bisset reviewed their service records (they keep great service records, by the way) listened to my concerns and was willing to cover the cost of the repair. (Although being totally fair about it, I settled for a $200 credit for future service.) This kind of service doesn't happen often and I have to commend John Bisset and his staff for their service attitude and respect for the customer. I will continue to support their dept and give them the highest respect. Sometimes service things go wrong, but it's how you handle it that brings in repeat customers and great word-of-mouth support. The only reason I did not rate them a bit higher in customer service and overall experience was that I first had to get upset when dealing with the front line service people who would not listen to my concern and just wanted to talk down to me and tell me I had no valid point. But overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this service department for any make and model vehicle they service. Thank you for the considerate handling of this issue, John and Contemporary Chrysler. You have a loyal customer for life.

Its not easy to find a business to trust, but I personally have not had a bad experience yet with the sales team or the service department. I am currently in my 2nd car purchased from Contemporary. The service team is always friendly and courteous and will do their best accomadate your service needs around your schedule. I don't feel like I am getting taken advantage of. Bill and the service team are great about keeping you posted on their progress and any upcoming issues we may see. I was driving a neon when I first spotted the caliber while I was having a service done. Bill was outside doing something else, but he took the time to answer my question about the car. I told him that was going to be my birthday present to myself. I took home the booklet about the car and its options. John Wyman found me the color I wanted with the options I wanted and I was in my new car the day after Thanksgiving. John was super about keeping me posted on his search. To be honest I don't even think I took it for a test drive.

The entire staff at Contemporary are the best anywhere. Bill Walker is my primary contact in the service department and he always goes the extra mile to make sure my vehicle is running in the best condition possible. All of the technicians are also well trained and trustworthy. Steven Francoeur, in sales, has been my contact in the sales department for many years now. He is incredibly knowledgeable and constantly has my best interests in mind. I would and do recommend Contemporary to my family and friends. Having bought several vehicles both for my company and for personal use, I would definately recommend this dealership--and especially my sales adviser,Steve Francouer--as the first and only dealership you need to go to for sales or service. I have never encountered any difficulties with any purchase procedures or vehicles. All my service need are handled in a very timley manner and I always feel like a part of their extended family of continuing custumers.Steve recently assisted my sister in trading out of her Chrysler LHS after noting that she had spent nearly $3000.00 in about three months in repairs. She felt she didn't want a car payment as she is retired. He pointed out to her that having a small monthly payment on a much newer vehicle would be easier and the peace of mind created by driving a more dependable vehicle, certainly a plus. She purchased a PT Cruiser and is very happy with her new car. We have purchased 5 cars from this dealer over the past 10 years and have had nothing but good luck dealing with them. Our most recent dealing was with a car for my son who is going to college in the fall. The salesmen was very plesant without be pushey and helped us to the best of his ability. The price was in our price range but unfortunately he had another in mind and we wheren't able to make the deal. I am very happy with my experience at Contemporary. Having no credit history, I was in need of a co-signer. I needed to get my Dad to the dealership to look at the car I wanted to buy. With his work schedule, this was virtually impossible. The Manager, Russ, let me take the car home overnight so I could show my Dad! I am now the proud owner of a 2008 Caliber. When our 5th child was born we realized our minivan would not hold 4 car seats and our 11 year old comfortably so off we went to "look" at cars with all five kids in tow. Our first stop Contemporary Chrysler Dodge. We told them of our need for a full sized van, told them our price range and began what ended up a very long exhausting day. We are by no means idiots, my father is a car salesman in Florida for goodness sakes. But being tired after a very long day, I guess we got talked into a van we didn't want. I mentioned it had a smell and was promised it would be taken care of to my satisfaction. We waited for them to deodorize the van. So we did the paperwork, turned in our van and stupidly drove the other van home. I knew within 24 hours the smell was unacceptable. We returned the van the next day and insisted they give us back our van. We were told that was no longer possible and that they would refund all of our $11,000 toward an acceptable van, so again being gullible we went home. Yes as you can imagine they forgot all about there little promise. After 6 months of calling once a week we began calling 3 times a day. That finally got us attention. They called us with the perfect van, of course now $15,000. We went to see it, when we insisted on taking it to our mechanic for an appointment we'd made for the next day we were told to take it to a mechanic they suggested because it could not be held till next day. Of course it passed with flying colors, we asked to test drive it and they attempted to talk us out of it, no way! We loaded up all the kids and headed out. We liked the van, although I did notice the salesman followed us in his car, weird. After an hour we arrived back at Contemporary and said we'd make the trade, they were ready to finance us right then but we had already decided to finance it at our bank. They looked worried and suggested we unload our 5 kids , car seats and all and put them back in our van to go to the bank 5 miles away for the paperwork. Well that was enough! I said we'd be taking the new van and be back in an hour. While waiting in the parking lot at the bank in our soon to be new van the engine nearly blew up! It appeared to the mechanics that came to help that the engine was in really rough shape and the oil had run out while we were test driving it and doing the paperwork! No wonder they didn't want us to take it to our mechanic or out for a test drive or to our bank even! I can't believe anyone would do something like that to a family with little kids or anyone, we could have been hurt! They had the van towed back to there establishment and never so much as called us to apologize for what had happened. Because of that we are sure they new what condition the van was in. We still own the stinky van. It sits in my driveway and has for 2 years. I drive a different van but I can't sell that one to someone and know it stinks when you turn on the heat, so we just keep making payments on them both now. Because we didn't get anything in writing the Better Business Bureau said there was nothing that could be done. We admit were we made mistakes but taking advantage of us was wrong non the less. We have only CONTEMPT for CONTEMTorary Chrysler Dodge!

I bought a used car from them, no warranty, what a mistake. The car didn't even pass inspection by my mechanic. They didn't change the oil and it was about 2 quarts low when I checked it a week after i bought it when the engine started acting up. It was going through oil rather quickly. After 3 months, the engine finally died, blown head gasket, cracked block, and a busted radiator. Needless to say, it was hardly worth fixing. Luckily I found another dealership to give me a few bucks for it and knock off some of the debt on it since I had only made 2 out of the 36 payments when it died. Besides the car trouble, the dealership itself is someplace you don't want to deal with. The salesman I dealt with fed me the typical cheesy cliche lines and was grabbing the money out of my pocket before he even told me what interest rate I was going to get. When I asked him, he said "don't worry, I can tell by looking at you that it will be under 10%." Gee thanks, as if there isn't a difference between 10% and 3%. Then they tried to sell me a bunch of extra insurances on top of it. They are a bunch of crooks with no conscience. I definitely learned my lesson. I hope you don't try and find out for yourself.
