We can't say enough about Thorne and all he did for us. We came to the dealership with no expectations and really not ready to purchase just yet. Thorne made our experience so easy and comfortable, that the decision to purchase became before vacation or after. Before won because of his honesty and no pressure approach. He never resorted to the traditional sales pitch or pressure. With the number of vehicles we have purchased, he is THE BEST at what he does and is knowledgeable on the vehicles. There is finally a car salesman that I would refer friends and family to. Thorne, understands it is about building a relationship and not just the money he could make on the sale. He was a little too busy with other customers so he didn't seem to have enough time/patience for me, but oh well. He did send me to the parts dept but they couldn't help. Again, oh well. Covert Ford adversities No one beats a Covert Deal - not now, not ever!! I Walked in with a Buyers order from another dealer, they matched the price of their truck but low-balled the trade by thousands. Ask Salesman what does "No one beats a Covert Deal - not now, not ever!" He said that's on the price of their vehicle, they don't match the price of trade. So I ask how is it no one beats a Covert Deal if the price of the vehicle is the same but Covert Ford is off by thousands on the trade?

I'm not sure how these positive reviews got out here. When I purchased my truck I told them service was important. They assured me timely service or a loaner car oils be provided. Soon after that the loaners went away and were replaced with a rental center if I wanted to rent a car. They then told me if I scheduled my service online it would expedite service. I did this only to find it's still first come first serve. I was then told to be there at 7 am to get in first. I was there at shortly after 7 and it's a 4 hour wait to get oil changed and to have them look at my transition I will have to come back in two days and hope to get time with their transition guy. Last time I came in he was off for the day. This is unfortunate as I really like my ford truck but I'm done doing business with covert.

I have been having almost all of the oil changes done at Cover since I got the 2009 F-150. A week or so after the last oil change, I made a long distance drive to Southern Illinois, fighting a 20-30 MPH headwind most of the time. I usually don't check the oil between oil changes but due to the driving conditions, I checked it when I reached my destination. I was surprised that it was almost 1/2 qt. low. I checked it again when I got home and it was still at the same level. This leads me to believe that it was already low when I left the dealership. I will continue to have my oil changed there but will definitely check the oil before I leave.

I purchased an F-350 FX4. Having alot of vehicles on hand made it easy for me to choose a vehicle. I like to see what I'm buying. Working with a internet specialist was a little different. A salsman seems to be more willing to be more forthcomong with negotiating. I'm still waiting on my chrome miiror covers that were included in the deal. All in all I would recommend covert over another dealership. This is my 3rd or forth vehicle I bought from covert.

James was one of the sales staff that helped me learn how to use in sync system. I came in recently due to something I received in the mail; a letter saying I needed to buy this service since my warranty was going to expire in May. I had only purchased the car in May. James took time to read the information and told me it was spam. At that point, he asked me some questions related to maintenance of my car. He told me to call him to set up the service appointment and he would have a rental for me to use while my vehicle was serviced. He did exactly what he said he would do and the service team performed the first routine maintenance on my car. As an aside, even though I came in just to ask about the letter,James took the time to talk with me and remembered me even though he was not the salesman of record.

Well, had a road hazard incident that damaged the sidewall of my tire. did not have hazard extended coverage. Service rep said they could not find a tire of the same style as the blown tire (said they were out of production). Finally told me if I could find one, they would mount it for free. I was about to order one over the internet when I decided to check other tire dealers locally, found 3 at a Discount Tire, not 10 minutes up the road. Kinda disappointed I had to locate the tire, but I guess Covert could only check with certain suppliers. Anyway, bought the tire and transported to Covert on a Saturday, but they were honest in telling me they could not get to it and I would have to wait till Monday (car was towed on a Thursday). when I picked it up, there was a $20.00 charge for mounting...which I thought would be free. I didn't raise any fuss, just went ahead and paid it. I'm sure there's a reasonable reason why I had to go out and find my own tire not more than 10 minutes away...but, I didn't really ask for one.

We purchased our Navigator from Covert and have always gotten great service there, although have only had one small repair on it in 5 years. My 97 Mark 8 is 18 years old and only has a little over 37,000 miles on it. I don't take it to just anyone for service and Covert has treated it with the care it deserves. I have 3 people waiting to buy it if I ever want to sell it. I hope to drive it as long as I am still able to drive. Covert is always professional, friendly and helpful. My fiance and I were literally amazing at how easy the entire process was. The service on my F250 was great and done quickly no issued there. Having used Covert Cadillac service and Covert Gmc service for previous vehicles, the Ford service was better than Gmc's but not up to Cadillac's.The 2items that Ford Service could improve upon is know the deals Ford has on service! !! The deal I found when making my appointment was $99 but initially charged the regular price. I had to tell them!! Secondly, after paying, they told me where my truck was parked and the keys were in it!!!! It was not parked in a secure area and anyone could have taken it. I had already shopped on the Internet and knew exactly what your inventory was and what your web price was, so your salesperson only had to show me the one 2014 Limited Expedition that I was interested in and on top of that I paid cash for the SUV. She worked with me and your Sales Manager to finalize the deal within a couple of hours. After that she was totally non-responsive and what she told me was most often inaccurate. The day I was supposed to pick the SUV up after minor paint work she was a no-show to hand the vechicle off to me and we had to get another sales person on the floor to bring vechicle up and walk us thru the details of keys, the instrument panel, etc. The disappointing part was we never received a thank you telephone call or note from her and it was propably her easiest deal in a long time. I would do business with Covert Ford again, but would seek a different sales person.

He gives us all information up front (car fax) and honestly answers all our concerns. He never gives us any pressure to purchase the car and when we gave him an offer, he accepted our offer. If you are looking for buying car, you should look their website for selection. If you find any car that interest you, then you should contact Gregory Ray. His service alone is well worth for visiting this dealer. Just one more advise, DO NOT trust dealers who cannot update their own inventories on web. Was in a crunch having a week to buy a car after mine got totaled. Jonathan Murray helped me look at a couple Fords, but I also saw an Infiniti on Covert's Cadillac lot I was interested in. I told Jon and he had it ready for me to test drive the next morning, all cleaned up and looking great. Drove it with my wife for half an hour by ourselves and liked it. The negotiating was pretty easy, not high pressure. We met in the middle, they promised to touch up a couple clear coat scratches and fix a couple windshield chips and they did all that flawlessly. Had the car ready for me as promised...looking brand new. Then two weeks later I talked to previous owner and he said he turned in two key fobs when he traded it in, and I'd only been given one. I called Jonathan and he went over to the other store and found the other fob and called me within thirty minutes. They then overnighted it to me no charge. That was impressive customer service! I would do business with them again....they had a great inventory to choose from between the Ford and GMC stores... Besides the service, I think the thing I liked best was it was not a high pressure experience...took maybe ten minutes to agree on numbers, and the finance guy was very professional and took less than five minutes.

Despite my trepidation of working with a dealership I am very satisfied with the experience I had with Covert Ford and my salesman Ilan Ramrez. I already knew the vehicle I wanted so when I came in initially it was just a matter of taking a test drive and working out the deal. I purchased a used expedition limited that was in fantastic shape and had clearly been well detailed and was exceptionally clean inside and out. Everything went well and 2 hours later I'm driving away in my new truck. After a week I noticed some issues with the truck sputtering as I drove so I took it in first thing and talked to Ilan. Despite being sold as is, Ilan quickly got it in the shop and even provided me with a very nice new truck as a loaner as we weren't yet sure how long the repair would take. I barely had time to make it home before Ilan called to let me know it was just a spark plug issue and that the truck was ready. Everything was handled free of charge without any obligation on my end. A month later and the truck is still running great. I'm very satisfied with my Covert Ford experience and I would certainly recommend them to my friends and family.

Service was great. I alway go to John Nay as my service advisor as he is always straight with me, he knows his job and also the cars he is an advisor for. He does not try to sell me something I do not need. All service advisors need to be like John. He is excellent.

Purchasing a vehicle thru Covert was a good experience. I felt at ease with Jacqueline who assisted me with this purchase. If I had to say anything negative about my experience it would be when Gerry Peterson attempted to give me 7% financing thru Ford Motor Credit. I told him no way because I would go somewhere else. He then got me 4.99% thru Citibank. Maybe he is required to push Ford Motor Credit, and I understand that even though I did not like it. Overall, except for that, I had a pretty good experience.

I had a recall on my lcm. I called Covert Oct. 2,2014 Mr. Mark was very polite & helpful. However he did tell me the part would take up to 5 wks. So, I called back Nov. 4th & Mr. Mark said that a shipment went out but, he couldn't tell me if, I was one of the customers that was going to get a part.So, I called the main head quarters and spoke with Mrs. Debbie and I told her what was going on & she told me to give her a few days & she would get back in touch with me. And, she did just that, & told me that covert would be reaching out to some part center to get me a part asap. So, I had back from Mr. Mark & he said that, they ordered me a part & that I can bring my car in following week. They took great care of me. I want to say THANK YOU TO MR. I had been researching 2014 F-150 King Ranch Editions 4x4s with the off road package for months, and was very specific about the color and options that were important to me. Prior to purchasing, I had been in contact with dealers from all over the state comparing prices. Covert had exactly what I wanted, and at a price my personal research showed to be excellent. The entire buying experience was easy and pleasant. It's the after sale support where Covert stands out though. I took delivery of my truck on a rainy day and prior to completely inspecting everything, the heavens unloaded and sent us scurrying for cover. Image my disappointment the next morning when I saw a minor chip and black mar on the rear bumper. The next workday I stopped by Covert on my way to work, showed the spots to Travis (my salesman) and as I had hoped for, the comment was "No problem, we'll take care of it and even set you up in a loaner truck while we repaint the bumper". Mind you that most people would not have cared about the chip or the black mark, but I expected my new vehicle to be perfect, and that's what Covert gave me.

I took my Ford Edge to Covert Ford for it's first oil change. The car had 5,100 miles. The service guy was very nice and told me that I could wait and do oil changes every 7,000-7,500 miles. I'm old fashioned and wanted it changed every 5,000. He said that's fine and got me out of there in about an hour. They do a great job: rotated tires, checked all fluid levels, etc. And the charge was very fare at less than $60! I live near Covert and will definitely take my new Ford Edge back there for future service/maintenance and any motor problems that may occur.

My Advisor and the other staff at the service desk did an excellent job from the moment I drove up to the service area until I paid and left. However, I do think you need to be aware I arrived before opening so I could get the actual service (The Works and new air filter) done quickly and be on my way. However, due to delays and getting the actual service work done, I didn't leave until close to 9:00a.m. I've never had to wait that long before. Again, the Advisor that morning and the other ladies at the service desk were very helpful, so it was obvious the issue was back where the service was being done.

I have a couple of disappointments:1) I booked the appointment on Monday for Thursday at 2 pm. I brought the truck at NOON on Thursday and then they said wouldn't be a be able to look at it until Friday. I got a call around 4 pm Friday asking to call them back and that they would be around until 6:30 pm. I called back at 4:30 pm but did not get another call until mid-morning Monday. I travel for a living so I had to rent a car for the week so this was additional out of pocket cost for me.2) I had to explain my problems 3 times. I fully documented the issues I needed addressed in the appointment I booked but, apparently, nobody ever looked at that because when I can in, I had to run through them all again verbally with Steve. Then on Monday, Steve called me with the mechanic and I had to explain it again over the phone.

Let me start by saying that my Wife and I have been loyal Covert Ford customers going back to 1995. We have always had the pleasure of dealing with helpful friendly people. On this trip I dropped off my truck in the service department at 7AM. I was told by my Service Advisor, Steve Hathaway, that he would call me sometime in the morning to let me know what they found out. At roughly 1PM I called Steve and left a voicemail as I hadn't heard back. After not hearing back, I called the service department at 3pm and was put in touch with someone else who then told me to hang on as Steve was there. Steve then got on the phone and informed me that they were about to get my truck into the shop in the next few minutes and he would call me back. Then, at roughly 5PM I get a call from Steve informing me that my truck needed to have the brakes, rotors and hubs replaced and it was going to be around $630 plus tax. He told me if I gave him the go ahead they could get it done that same day and I felt really rushed to make a decision. I advised that they go ahead and get it done. I was really upset with this as I had a coupon for brakes and machined rotors for $199 and had been advised a week prior that worse case scenario it would be around $450 if the rotors had to be replaced along with the brakes. When I mentioned this to Steve he advised that whoever I spoke with must've not accounted for the hubs needing to be replaced. I ended up paying almost $670 to get the work done which was $200 more than what I had anticipated as a worse case scenario. All this said and done, my truck is riding great again so that helps ease the hit to my wallet. I know that next time I need to do a little more research myself and not let my customer loyalty be what leads me.

Had a Tuesday morning service appointment (2004 F-150) for 7:00am and the truck was not even looked at until after lunch. Was very disappointed that everytime something was fixed something else was found and parts had to be ordered. Overall didn't get truck back until late Thursday evening -- mainly due to not having parts in stock. Overall work was excellent, but the long delay due to ordering parts and finding something else wrong after fixing another issue contributed to my frustration.

Your inventory system was a mess, showing 2 cars that I wanted as available. But when we got further along in the paperwork, we found out that they had already been sold. Luckily, Travis Palu, my salesman, went way beyond what he had to do and found me the car I was looking for in Abilene. He worked very hard and organized a dealer trade so I was able to drive off with my new Ford the next day.

I wanted to provide you with some feedback regarding experience. I hope this is a one off as John Nay always does an outstanding job for me. However, Ive given this some thought and I am trying to understand the disconnect; History, I made an appointment with John on Monday, 8/18 for a Wednesday, 8/20 7:00 AM drop off to have the oil changed and the normal car inspection. Everything went as planned, dropped the car off. Here where things go down hill IMHO. My understanding is this should be completed in the morning. I had to call around 2 to find out what the status of my car is as I would of expected a call by now. John informed me it was on the rack being serviced. Also, I mention this because I needed transportation to pick my car up. At this point I felt it should have been ready to go. Also, in the past, someone had to put you on the list by 3:30. John and I traded several phone calls and by the time the car was ready I was not in a position to leave. So we agreed to have a pickup later. The end result was a driver finally showed at my house at 6:17 PM. Now I had to deal with the crazy traffic and a wasted evening of getting the car back. Also, John and I had to take care of all the paperwork over the phone. Bottom line you dont expect to pick up your car almost 12 hours after you dropped it off for a simple Oil Change. By the time I returned with the car after fighting the traffic I was not in a good mood Sincerely, Joe Ryan

had an appointment with a salesman who didn't show up. after waiting 20 minutes, I requested someone else. i was there for about 6 hours, getting the purchasing paperwork done, returning my previous lease and getting the new car detailed. after choosing the car and submitting the paperwork, I would have preferred the option to have come back later when it was all ready, rather than sitting around waiting.

One of the best experiences I've had with Ford. I've owned Fords for the past 15 or 20 years and even completed a college report on the "Big 3". As for loaner, in all of the times that I have put my MKX in for service I have never been given a Lincoln to drive. The agent always says they don't have any so he offered me a choice between a Chevy and a Dodge. Of course I chose the Chevy.

He was right, it did take much longer, but since I was not aware, I had not been dropped off and I work in central Austin. So I waited for it. I'm not annoyed or worried about the actual work that was done on my car. My family has been buying cars and having them serviced at Covert for over 30 years. We all drive Fords. However, the service that I experienced was sub-par and felt uncustomary to what I've experienced in the past. The complete lack of communication and overall indifference to my car, was unexpected. I understand that the Service Rep doesn't care that I spent nearly $2,000 at your dealership, but at least try to fake it.

Covert Ford called me this a.m. with a quote for $1100 telling me that my Fuel Pump Drive Module was bad, and that they had bypassed the FPDM, and the fuel pump was also bad. After confirming several times that they had tested the fuel pump on it's own, and some advice from a friend, I decided that I should have it towed and attempt replacing the module on my own anyway. Guess what... the truck is now running great for an $85 tow and $60 part. I went back to ask for my $120 diagnostic fee back, and the service manager didn't even bat an eye. That makes me think that he knew they were being shady and got caught!

I have been a loyal ford customer for the past 12 years and have purchased my last 7 vehicles from Ford due to the great dependability of my vehicles purchased as well as the wonderful customer service. But to my surprise, on July 25, 2014, I was at the receiving end of some very poor service at the Covert Ford dealership. When I arrived at the dealership I asked for the salesperson Mrs. Lewis that I had been in contact with via e-mail and was told she was busy and I was directed to work with Mr. Macintosh. His demeanor was such that he seemed disinterested in working with me and only doing it so I wasn't sitting around. We walked outside to the vehicle I was interested in but it was blocked in and unable to be moved for a test drive. Mr. Macintosh insisted that he would get a few cars moved around so I could test drive the car I was interested in even thought I told him it was quite all right. I was asked to wait at the vehicle in the 100 degree Texas heat while he made arrangements. 10 minutes passed without any update so I choose to return to the building and look for Mr. Macintosh where I found him at his desk helping another costumer. When he saw me walking up he quickly got up to greet me and asked what I would like to do next and I suggested we look into the trade in value for my vehicle. At this point he asked me to wait until Mrs. Lewis' desk opened up and it would be about 5 minutes. I waited for about 20 minutes without being tended to or addressed before I had enough and left. I was appalled at such behavior and I hope you look into the matter, and make sure such an incident is not repeated. Your company has been known to provide excellent customer services, and such events tarnish the company reputation.

Our service writer, John Nay, did an excellent job. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. As it turned out, we needed a new Home Link Visor. The part was located at another dealership. Covert made the trip to pick it up and it was installed, all in the same day, saving us a second trip. It was an efficient effort on Covert's part and their diligence is appreciated. I have been a loyal Covert Ford customer since I purchased my new F-250 back in Feb 2001. The service here is like no other and the continuos stride to make the customer happy is top priority. During my oil change, Hayden noticed me that I had an unrepairable tire with a nail on my 2009 F-150. As soon as I returned home, I called my warranty service about the tire that I purchased when I bought my truck and received a claim number. I called back Hayden to follow up with the tire and gave him the claim and phone number to the warranty service provider. I was pleasantly surprised that Hayden followed up quickly with contacting the warranty company and setting up my tire replacement with no issues and no problems! He also communicated with Tyler about my situation so that I could come in Saturday morning to get it fixed since he was not going to be there. My wife, newborn baby and I arrived and had the tire replaced with excellent customer service within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you for your commitment to the highest customer service and please recognize Hayden and Tyler for going above and beyond. My loyalty to the service at Covert will continue after my experiences I have had the past 14 years.

they assured me they could order the truck I wanted and after almost two weeks I checked up on it only to find out that they were not able to order the truck after all. they never bothered to call or email me and let me know. after I started searching vehicles again I found they actually had one listed on their lot for a great price but it turns out they just like to list vehicles for dealer invoice and then when you contact them they claim it was accidental and try to charge 7k more than what they list it for. This seems to be their shady sales tactics. UNTRUSTWORHTY DEALER!! Go Elsewhere!

Also, I had already acquired my financing through my credit union and thought I had a great interest rate. The finance guy was able to beat my CU deal. I alos thought the entire process went pretty quick. In the past, I've spent what seems all day at dealerships. I came in at lunch and test drove some trucks, then after a few texts in the afternoon, I stopped by after work and drive my new truck home in a short time.
