I spend my winters in Florida and the summers and fall here at home in Maine...left my old car down there..then was stuck here with nothing...I needed a car and needed something safe for myself and my most important cargo my grand babies and ESA ...Husband saw this 2008 impala went down tried it out fit like it was made for me...the whole transaction was wonderful..great people... ty MIke and Mark..my grand babies and I have a lot of fun summer plans coming up and that cars taking us safely to them...ty for the friendship the non pressure atmosphere ...someday when it comes time for another car we will be back Blessings and thank-you all at Crafts :-)

We test drove a used honda odyssey. It had a few mechanical issues which we were concerned with, but they ordered the parts and fixed it right up for us and we purchased it. Very reasonable prices and no pressure. They also helped us get a very good interest rate and affordable payment. It was a great experience, and we will be back in the future!

My son had just gotten a job during his off hours from college. Well this presented somewhat of a problem since he didn't have his own car. This meant that I would have to pick him up from Auburn and then drive him back to Lisbon Falls multiple times a week. Needless to say, I don't have a lot of extra time to "shop" and research cars. I was pleasantly surprised to find the perfect car for my son on their website. He already loved the Dodge Charger and was excited to test drive it the next day. Well, the whole process from the test drive all the way to the final paper signing went very, very smoothly. The salesmen were so thankful and we were very impressed. Thank you very much Crafts Cars! I am a fan of keeping it local. I don't like the mega box car places. My Ford Escape from 2002 had to finally be put down :( And I knew I wanted another one. I saw the Crafts Cars had one on their lot. I first met with John and then with Mike and Mark. Really a family of folks that got me into my car. I love it. After looking at a ton of vehicles in my price range I ended up at Crafts after hearing good things about them from a friend. When I got here, Mike had the car he thought would be the best fit for me ready and waiting out front. I took it for a test drive and LOVED it! It was exactly what I was looking for and it was right in my price range!! I was all over the map trying to get my insurance and finances figured out and Mike stayed late so I could sign the paperwork and not have to be another day without a vehicle! My recent visit was no different, with brake lines ruptured, Jay took me in on short notice and completed in a few hours with all new lines and under my anticipated costs... But it didn't stop there, Jay knew I was on a bike and would stop on my way home from work to pay and arrange transportation to get my truck, so he delivered to my house so I didn't have to deal with it... The people at Craft's were awesome to buy from. It was easily the best auto buying experience I've ever had. I visited them 3 times over two weeks before choosing my truck and there was never any pressure to buy. Many places hit you with the "pressure sell" and turn the buying experience into a buying nightmare, but not Craft's. I worked with Brian and he was extremely patient and helpful. It felt like my big brother was walking me through the process of choosing and buying a truck. After we had signed all of the paperwork they went through the truck with a fine-toothed comb and fixed a few things that I didn't even realize it needed. Any other place would have just sent me on my way but at Craft's they wouldn't let me drive the truck away until it was perfect. I'm thrilled with my new truck and couldn't have had a better buying experience.

Mike listed to what I wanted, and helped me consider vehicles I wouldnt have otherwise. Their inventory provided plenty of options, and because Mike knows cars are a family decision, he suggested I take the car I was interested home overnight so my husband could drive it and my kids could check it out. My wife and I recently went in to Crafts to look for a truck. We originally went down to look at an F-150 they had but when we arrived it had sold. They move through trucks so fast and we were prepared for that as when we went through the site the rotation of vehicles in and out was always moving rapidly. Brian (our salesman) had us walk the lot and said he had a truck in mind for us. We walked up to this BEAUTIFUL Lincoln Mark LT which we thought was nowhere near our budget. We test drove it and instantly fell in love but feared when we returned the price would be far to high. Wouldnt you know Mark (finance manager) and Brian made sure it was right in our wheelhouse and we put a deposit down to hold the truck the next morning! Mark was so great to work with he even let us take a Purchase and Sales sheet to other banks to help get our rate down! We came back days later and boom the truck was ours! That weekend we took a roadtrip out of state in the vehicle and had a few issues arise which made me nervous at first becuase I thought "oh great, I just bought a truck and suddenly it doesnt work 2 days later." My fears were QUICKLY relieved when we called in to discuss our issues with Jay (service department) who apologized that they missed those when they sent the vehicle off for final sale preperation. Jay told me to bring the truck down at my best convinence and that they would take care of it! Not only that but they had me in a loaner vehicle in no time at all so we could be back about our day! I cant say enough about how great the tea at crafts is and we will defineitly be back as repeat customers! Thank you so much Mark, Jay, and Brian for being honest and eay to work with!

Heard great things from a friend, but was VERY disappointed. I looked at 2 different vehicles, making the 45 minute drive 2 different times. The first time, I had concerns about the way the vehicle was shifting, took the tech for a ride, who agreed they should have a transmission specialist look into it. Sales said they would call me soon and let me know, 9 days went by, I called and he said they sold it (no details shared re: transmission). I had to ask him about another one (same make/model) I went to check it out, engine light was on, said they would check it out and call me... but NO CALL. Total waste of my time, I don't get it.

I bought a 2009 chevy Equinox. It has the service all wheel drive light come on which wasn't their fault. I called them brought it in and they were happy to help without a problem. When I went there to buy the car they were very attentive and let me test drive it right away. I asked if I could come back the next day and bring it to my mechanic and they were extremely accommodating. The buying process went very smoothly and they helped keep my 3 year old son entertained while we were discussing specifics. When my boyfriend and I decided to upgrade our family vehicle, we did some research and came to Craft's to look at a vehicle that we were interested in. When we got here, Mike Storm was so helpful, and gave me all the information that I needed to make my decision and purchase our new family vehicle, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV. Mike let me take the vehicle for a test drive and bring it home that night to show my boyfriend and kids to get their approval, I was very impressed. After days of online research and visiting dealership websites I decided to visit Crafts after normal business hours, looked at two SUV's they had and decided to comeback the next day, met Mike and took a test drive without any up-sell tricks or maneuvering, left with the Ridgeline for 20+ minutes without 'a sales guy yapping in my ear during the test drive' :-) then tested another SUV and hit pay-dirt on fit and feel, pointed out a few minor things that I needed addressed before making the purchase and Mike took care of it without any double-talk, back peddling or maybe's - that doesn't happen at the 'big box' places... Nice staff and solid vehicle inventory, if I ever need another vehicle this dealership will be my only stop - Mike, Mark and Karen are top notch.

I arrived and Mike greeted me in the parking lot. After explaining to him what I was looking for, he recognized my name thru emails requesting Information on 2 Subarus. I was impressed. Mike answered my questions, and promised to get the answers on a question he was not sure on while I test drove the 2 Subaru's. The question was did the '09 and the '11 have a timing belt or timing chain. He had the answer on my return from the test drives. The entire process was very easy and simple, and Mike even worked a price that worked for me! I was very comfortable with Crafts Cars, and would go back again . I have not purchased a vehicle since 1999, as I have had company cars for all those years! I had just retired and now needed a reliable vehicle without a large payout since now being on a fixed income! The reason I choose Crafts Cars was that they were not a fly by night used car dealer, and NOT a New car dealer . I had driven by many times over the years and when I needed a vehicle I checked out their very easy to use website. This is where I found they would email me the car fax on any vehicle. This was very helpful in my decision on which vehicle I was interested in. You don't get this from many car dealers! Mike even stated that he wanted to sell me my next 10 cars and not have this as a one time only sale. They wanted my continued business, and they will get it. Thanks Mike!

I stopped by to look at a truck after hours. The finance manager was still there, and was more than happy to help answer questions and let me take a test drive. I went back the following day and purchased the truck. They are taking care of 2 small items that i pointed out about the truck without any hassle at all. These guys are great to work with. My son and I went looking for a car for him to test drive. We tried a couple and he really liked the way the Subaru handled and looked. Mike, the salesman, was very accommodating and worked with us to determine the total cost to see if it would fit my son's budget. We then spoke with Mark, the finance man, who guided us through the application process, contacting a number of lenders to get the most competitive rates. By the end of our meeting, my son had a new ride to drive home. We were both impressed with how friendly, efficient and helpful the staff at Crafts Cars were that morning. My wife and I first started looking around for a new car a few months ago. We were in no rush and stopped by a bunch of dealerships. Most of the dealerships did not seem to care if we were there or not. I stopped in to Crafts too look around and was hoping to not have to deal with any salesmen. The salesmen came anyway but I was pleasantly surprised. It seems like a lot of salesmen have tactics to push you into buying something, anything, even if it is not perfect for you. The sales staff was patient on my multiple trips to the lot and were great about letting me in to see as many different vehicles as I wanted. I couldn't be happier with Mike, who I mainly dealt with. He remembered me and what I was looking for. He even remembered details about my situation (I will not be around the area too much longer). He laid out the price and how it would all work but did not feed me more information than I needed. He just gave me the price and said they can work with me, which they did. I ended up buying a Toyota Sienna XLE. It was near perfect! Anything that wasn't just right, they made right. For example, upon trying to leave for a test drive, the battery had died. This was probably because people tend to play with the auto closing doors without turning the car on plus the battery was 8 years old. Without asking, Mike said they would replace the battery. He ended up doing that and fixing a small issue with the vent (it seemed it had gotten off its track and wouldn't turn properly, a minor thing but quite an annoyance to a lay person). They gave me a reasonable offer on my trade and the signing process was quick and easy. Mark, the Finance Manager, was just as easy going as Mike about the whole process. They were honest and efficient and did not waste my time at all. One more thing to illustrate: I had asked about a few Honda Pilots they had on the lot. One of which was on the outer edge of the lot but looked to be the newest with the lowest miles. Mike explained that they don't want to sell that to anyone because there is an issue with the transmission. It is hardly noticeable and they could have easily sold it but they did not want someone breaking down a few months down the road. He explained that their reputation meant more to them than the sale of one car! That was a new concept for a used car dealership! Even Jen, whose role I do not know exactly but she helped us one afternoon, was extremely helpful and very nice to deal with. These guys were fantastic! I have been telling everyone I know about how great it was to shop there. I would go back again and again if I stay in the area. All of their cars look great and are really clean. My particular car had no rust despite being a used Maine vehicle. I am sure that is not the most common situation but it is good to know that they are looking for quality cars and not just something that only looks pretty on the outside. Could not have had a better car buying experience. It was worth the 1 hour drive (we actually made several trips so my wife and I could both test drive the truck before buying). Mike and John were extremely friendly and professional with absolutely no pressure. We had shopped some larger dealerships closer to home but they all felt pushy and even went so far as to say our budget would be difficult or impossible. Crafts was extremely reasonable and fair, even with our trade in. I bought my first car on my own from them and they were great! Prices are good, as is the quality. The staff is friendly and the whole place gives off a comfortable, laid back vibe. I did't feel pressured and they were very professional and easy to talk to.If you have any problems they take care of it right away, no worrying. I had one issue with the car I bought and the day I showed up to talk to them to make an appointment, the fixed it that day. Great little dealer/garage.

I wasn't sure which vehicle I wanted to purchase; they had 2 Toyota's that I really liked. I was very appreciative of their service and understanding; they allowed me to have both vehicles home over night so I could get a feel for which one, if any that I liked enough to purchase. They didn't rush us and got in touch with me when they said they would about financing or all my other questions. Within 3 days I had decided which vehicle I wanted. They put me in touch with my financing that I wanted; with the lowest interest rate.I loved their policy of "anyone here can help you", it doesn't have to be just 1 salesperson...It's not all about the money in their pocket! They really want you to be happy! Great group of people, very friendly and knowledgeable!I'm definitely telling everyone I know and will buy my next vehicle from them as well!Thanks!!
